Another Imagine OB!Kalim au or my headcannon that the ball of sunshine has been holding a grudge of being backstabbed for a long time in his childhood:

Note/warning: kinda OCC about OB! Kalim? My Yuu oc here Yuukasai is platonic to Kalim especially platonic! Grim.

Headcannons about Kalim Al-Alsim:

Being the next heir of Sultan can be populated which led to assassins eying the prize. That is how it affected him.

Kalim was an extroverted boy to befriend everyone he meets but his friends and subjects are assassins undercover.

Being betrayed by his own friends for almost poisoning him has sting him in the heart like a scorpion.

Kalim will recover from being backstabbed since he will forget about it but he is starting to develop having trust issues and is slowly infected with wariness and distrust mentally.

Jamil is the only one he can trust and be comfortable internally since he is his childhood best friend and always on his side alone.

The PTSD of betrayal has killed his faithfulness on the inside.

Secretly bottling up his grudges and vulnerability on the inside while holding up his sociable facade.

Was being self-taught to use his genuine friendliness on his friends to test and see he gets backstabbed on the latter time especially Jamil.

Kalim will be very cold and start to have a mental breakdown slowly if someone like Jamil admitted that he was the one who hypnotized him to be a tyrant.

His friendly personality is a coping mechanism for him.

Doesn't actually trust anyone even if he looks so faithful.

Can secretly be independent but doesn't want to do it in public.

Kalim knows Jamil is controlling him into a tyrant and knows if he admitted it.

After his overblot, when Jamil apologized to him for what he had done and sees Kalim being deadpanned towards him and then shows him that he was in tears of joy to Jamil didn't leave him.

But Kalim is using his cheerful personality coping mechanism to him and he didn't fully forgive easily without admitting it, Kalim just accepted him without showing his expressionless face to show that he didn't fully forgive him and goes back to being normal best friends.

Fluff part? (ft. Yuu if you want it platonic or romantic with Platonic!Grim, also my yuu is platonic here ok?)

Yuukasai is the only one Kalim can trust since they will never betray him like Jamil.

They and Grim have earned his respect and trust(I will post about my Yuu if I have time).

Yuukasai is aware of what it's like to be betrayed and was sympathetic to him

They're trying their best to help Kalim learn to open up his true self in private therapy session (yes Yuu had gotten used to being the unofficial therapist-).

Yuukasai is very stunned to see that Kalim is actually intelligent and cold-hearted. He was being a ball of sunshine and a party goer is his coping mechanism.

They and Grim are the only ones who notice that Kalim didn't fully forgive Jamil with a cold-hearted face behind him but it's for them not to tell him.

They kept their promise for the ball of sunshine to not tell anyone especially Jamil about his true self and continued to therapy him as long as he was gathering his courage to reveal his true self often around them.

Sorry it was short because of my lack of motivation but more twst headcannons, twst quotes and more sooner or later 👍

Well this will be interesting to say the least

Azul would see himself in his S/O whenever they're crying and do his very best to comfort him

He's honestly surprised whenever you act clingy and touch starved around him, tbh he too is touch starved, but he wouldn't show it

Azul would make sure Floyd or Jade don't bully S/O too much, he doesn't like when they cry so much

The first thing he learnt that you were once a victim or abuse and harsh bullying, which told him why you had so much bandages and your hair was very choppy

He gives you very much love as a comfort Source, he won't allow it to happen again

Your medical skills are a huge help, especially when the tweels have fights that become physical

When you had your outbursts or breakdowns, his heart kinda goes into pieces when he hears "E-Everyone always treats me like that... Always... "It's all her fault..." "Sh-She's the one with the problem..." I...I'm done with that!" You went through so much deep shit

Azul would have to slap Floyd for laughing sometimes

He's very much calm on the outside when he learns that you were brainwashed, put into a killing game, and more

But inside, he's screaming in concern and other emotions

He didn't know you could also become two faced when your nerves are about to snap

Falling in love with him is difficult. At this point, you’re not sure if you’ve ever loved him, or the persona that he he simply kept to please others. You thought that he was simply mysterious, another person that would eventually open up once someone had pushed just enough to wedge their foot in his door. And you’re so close, so close to being invited into his world, but he has yet to let you in.

So many versions of him live on, in your mind, and in the present. The Jamil that exists in potions, choosing to step back and let his partner do all the work, yet mumbling about all the things they’re doing wrong. The Jamil in front of Azul, the ever so careful, guarded version of him, denying all the claims made against him for his “innocence” or “naïveté.” The Jamil in front of Leona and Ruggie, the one that’s almost obedient, purposively feigns naïveté and docility to make sure that no conflict arises that may attract an audience. The Jamil, attendant of the first-born Al-Alsim, the one that nags, yet still takes care of Kalim. Helping him in anyway possible, and doing whatever is asked of him with minimal fuss, only the occasional scolding thrown in as well.

If all of those facets of Jamil exists, then who is the Jamil in your presence? Simply another one of those that adapt accordingly to whomever he talks to? Or is it the real him, rid of the titles associated with him, and the fear of recognition or possible attention from anyone other than you? He allows you to stay by his side, but never asks for you to remain there. He provides you with model answers to your questions, compliments that seem more like statements to appease your distress to keep the attention off of you, and smiles that seem so…limited.

You’ll never know what to do until he learns that, even if hasn’t opened up now, you’ll wait for however long it will take until the barrier between you disappears. Until he learns to step into the light. Until he learns to open his doors for you.

Unfortunately, I did not quite like how this turned out but I needed to get this one out today. I still have a few more projects to work on academically, but I thought this would be…an interesting one to post first. For now though, I’ll keep my thoughts on the music and how it defines him on hold until I can get some rest :,))))
