time to rant about my eggpire madoka au ^_^ this will not be spoiler free in the SLIGHTEST for madoka magica so take this as your warning to skip this post if you don’t want to see any of that

so to start with kyubey is ofc the egg. instead of being impartial and apathetic, only serving to fight against entropy, the egg utilizes magical girls’ energy source for itself, kind of like what it does in-canon with people’s life force. magical girl being used very loosely, as it’s very much a unisex position. i’m not sure if it’d look like kyubey or like, some sort of sentient plant though. maybe something more similar to what bebe looks like in rebellion.

bbh is homura, and skeppy is madoka! their story largely follows the same track, with skeppy already being a magical girl when he and bad first meet, only to die to walpurgisnacht, so i’m making dreamXD for now, but it’s not something i’m too solid about. bad makes his contract with the egg, wishing to be able to redo his first meeting with skeppy, and to be the one protecting him. bad gets thrown into a time loop of the same month, constantly trying and failing to save skeppy from his death, desperate to do anything for his safety.

ant is mami, although his wish differs from hers and is closer to dsmp canon, having wished for velvet to be brought back. punz is kyoko, with their wish having been for people to listen and follow dream’s preachings. and ponk is sayaka, whose wish was for sam’s hands to miraculously heal so he could invent again. that of course makes sam kamijo, and foolish hitomi.

the events follow the canon of madoka magica as closely as possible. ant still dies to bebe (or whatever bebe’s witch is called), punz still arrives to be his replacement, ponk still falls into despair as she sees foolish and sam happily together, and punz still dies killing ponk’s witch form. XD still attacks, bad still tries to fight it alone, and skeppy still puts an end to it all with his wish and contract. the real major difference is that after seeing all the horrors of the world of magical girls, skeppy’s wish isn’t to end their suffering, like madoka’s was. he’s just fucking annoyed and tired and done with having to witness it all, so he wishes to kill all witches before they’re born so he (and no one else) has to continue putting up with this shit. its not really that much of an act of selflessness, it’s just that after bad explained to him the time loop and all of that, he could not fucking stand the idea of going through all this again, whether he could remember it or not. anyways he ascends to godhood yadda yadda i could go into rebellion as well but it’s late so. maybe another night. this is for the extremely niche 0.00000000001% of my followers that are as obsessed with the eggpire and pmmm as i am <3

Recently i picked up a book i hadn't read in a long time for the past week i hadn't been able to work properly my tasks were going unfinished so i opened my cupboard and saw that book right in front of me. Then i read the whole book in just a one night and it sparked inspiration in me ..So i thought why not share everything i learned with all of you?

So I'm giving you guys a structured summary of Finish The Art of Following Through - Taking Action, Executing & Self Discipline by Peter Hollins -

1. The Importance of Execution

The ability to follow through allows you to create the life you desire rather than settling for the one you currently have. The process consists of focus, self-discipline, action, and persistence

2. Barriers to Follow Through

- Inhibiting Tactics: These include setting bad goals, procrastination, succumbing to distractions, and poor time management.

- Psychological Roadblocks: These encompass laziness, fear of judgment or failure, perfectionism driven by insecurity, and lack of self-awareness.

3. Staying Motivated

To remain motivated holds both external and internal motivators -

- External Motivators: These involve utilizing other people or resources to encourage action, such as accountability partners upfront investments and self bribery

- Mindset 1: Recognize the worthiness of your efforts.

- Mindset 3: Understand that learning comes from completing tasks.

- Mindset 4: Manage stress and anxiety effectively

6. Overcoming Procrastination

- Creating a Don't-Do List : Identify tasks to ignore and avoid ( This method is literally too much helpful )

8. The 40–70 Rule

This rule suggests acting when you have 70% of the necessary information as waiting for 100% is unrealistic

9. The Importance of Rest

Recognize the value of rest and relaxation as essential for mental recovery

10. Common Pitfalls

- False Hope Syndrome: Avoid unrealistic expectations and set achievable goals.

- Overthinking: Avoid excessive rumination and focus on taking action.

- Worrying: Concentrate on the present and control what you can.

11. Developing Daily Systems

Establish daily behaviors that promote consistency and long term success

⭐ Keep a Scoreboard: Track progress for motivation ( Ive been using this method for the past four days it literally shows me where I am making mistakes and what I need to do to complete my unfinished tasks )

The province of B.C. has added new protections to keep vulnerable road users, like cyclists, safer.

Drivers will now have to keep a minimum distance of at least one metre when passing cyclists and at least a metre and a half when passing on highways or roads with speed limits above 50 km/h.

The French Arthurian Narratives really, really, really don't gel with Welsh Law.

So basically:

Morgan would have just divorce Urien using any bullshit excuse, backed up by magic.

Lancelot would've just paid blood-money for damages done to Arthur and Gawain's kin. (Not that it would stop Gawain if Gareth - and specifically Gareth - is killed, but still)

Guinevere would have just been divorced, beaten and/or humiliated like Rhiannon, but death penalty would have been unnecessary and excessive, especially if Arthur's sympathetic to his wife.

Arthur and Guinevere could've initiated divorce anytime for any reason. Especially, when there's a seven-year time period of cohabitation that determines whether or not Gwen is entitled to half of Arthur's property. Childless!Guinevere really makes it even questionable that Guinevere could've kept her queenship past three years, much less seven.

So, all in all, the Arthurian story we know and love only works if its culturally the French High Middle Ages (12-13th Century)

something i can't help but think about when it comes to the new movie... who is going to be the antagonist? yes, as the perpetrator of the magical girl system, kyuubey is the root evil of all these problems,

but from a narrative perspective i think we want something new for this movie

i don't think it will be homura..

my guess is that the movie, and homura's association with walpurgisnacht, stems from homura's belief that she is a monster -- and therefore she plays the part of the worst monster she knows...

with that in the picture, the "madoka way" wouldn't be for homura to actually be the monster, the one our characters take out in the end...

so i think -- and this is a wildcard! -- but i wonder if it will be the other half of madoka...

the voice during the telephone call does resemble a voice that (i think) i've heard Aoi Yuki do before... and if thats the case, it brings new light to "Bring hope, bring hope."

...but, it also might recontextualize "Love. What nonsense."

what if, by removing "madoka" from the law of cycles, homura broke it? what if she reduced it to something emotionless, something mechanic and overly logical, like kyubey?

i think that would be a fascinating place to take the movie... let us see the repercussions of homura splitting madoka into two! it's hard for us to see why she's convinced she's a monster when there's no drawbacks to doing so! and if it is a mistake, let her confront that mistake, hopefully alongside madoka
