(semi-popular for the ship i wrote, anyway) and since like, probably Infinity War/Endgame i have been slowly more and more disillusioned by the MCU ranging from only passively being interested in projects to outright despising them if i saw them. which sort of sucks, given how much i loved the MCU at it's height. i was like. aggressively into it. like a "i had asthma attacks watching trailers bc i got so excited" level of into it. maybe cringey in hindsight, honestly but yk. whatever brings you joy, ig.

and anyway- my partner witnessed my very real and normal reaction to the Thunderbolts* trailer and now i'm *mad* bc i'm actually excited about it. it made me feel about the MCU a way i haven't felt in years, especially after a lot of announcements that rlly pissed me off.

cannot believe it looks like we might actually get a comics-accurate Yelena and a comics-accurate Bucky. i'm such a sucker for Bucky Barnes, he's one of the only Marvel characters i actually read Marve comics for and i'm forever bitter how badly he got screwed over. if that movie is good i'm going to end up writing fanfiction. probably crossover fanfiction bc over my dead body will i write just plain MCU fanfic. and i'm a Jason Todd/Bucky shipper anyway so i could make it work, i think-

Heyyo!!! I'm loving the series of the Ballad of the Bygone. I do want to ask where is the original MC (DC! MC) in the DC universe? Did they die? Gotten isekaid to the Marvel universe?

Also, will the family, specifically Jason, have some guilt for using MC as a replacement for DC! MC. Like, their original little sibling disappeared.

i kind of briefly brushed over it in the first chapter (or the second if u the count the prolouge i guess) but the reader originally from the dc universe was kind of switched with the reader from marvel.

dc!reader is with aunt may right now, and is obviously pretty freaked out but is actually enjoying themselves with how loving Aunt May really is. shes nothing like bruce and since dc!reader isnt spidey, she can spend a lot more time with them.

their bond with harry and mj is still the same and all in all their life just seems to be a lot better over there! though they wonder who spidey is exactly (and why that suit looks so darn familiar), and why the world seems to be mourning their loss...

on the second topic of your ask—yes! guilt is a huge driving factor for what makes the fam go a lil cuckoo !!!

they messed up baddddd with dc!reader, they made them feel unwanted and bitter... so they need to fix it! they don't know you two aren't technically the same people at first, but when they find out, they're both relieved and upset.

you're not them, sure—but it's like they can start over with a new blank slate. even if they can't fix what they did to dc!reader, they can make it up by loving you as much as they possibly can!!! you don't have all those bad memories—but you don't have any of the good ones, either.

(those "good memories" were the reason why the dc!reader kept trying in the first place—in one of the chaps i wrote they were hinted at being "desperate" and that's solely bc they missed those good times they spent w dick jason alfred and bruce!!! but spidey couldn't care less—bc they have none of those memories).

their memories w dc!reader are so little and few that they can hardly remember what their personality was like, which is why it's so easy for them to "replace" dc!reader with spidey. it's a mix of that and their soul consuming guilt to make it all up to them—that drives them to get that bad

jason would feel one of the guiltiest—i purposely didn't write him as unknowingly neglectful, but more like a mix of the fact he's barely ever there, and that he doesn't want to ruin the old memories you have of him.

he's so different now—he's changed into somebody he doesn't even know, and whenever he looks at you, all he sees is that little kid he used to play hide and seek with. he can't bear to ruin your image of him into a cold blooded killer.

but when he finds you there—bleeding out after becoming a victim to the horrors of gotham—he just can't leave you alone like that anymore. he feels just so awful, that he has to make things right. he'll spend time with you again; he'll take you for a ride on his bike after midnight, even if Bruce hates it, hell—he'll even play hide and seek with you again, just to make it right.

but when you're revealed to not be dc!reader... well, like dick and bruce—he's too far gone to even care at that point, as much as he hates to admit it. it's hard for him to see you two as two different people—because he still sees you as that little kid.

he starts believing you are the dc!reader at some point—he keeps asking if you remember this, remember that, remember that burger place you all went to whenever joker was recaptured—and whenever you tell him you don't, he only shrugs it off as you being forgetful.

just because he simply cannot handle the fact that he messed up, you got hurt, and now he doesn't have a chance to make it up to dc!reader. you two are practically one and the same to him—because he didn't get to see you grow up, he didn't get to know you—this is his chance now.

(but deep down, the guilt eats him up inside. deep down he knows this isn't his [name]. deep down he knows he's just using you as a way to channel the feelings that consume him).

I’m TRONIAN, I’m a smut writer and Concept Artists/ Designers in my daily life.

I love Kpop both musics and visuals so it’s great to share interests. I also really like Gravure Idols ! And not just Kpop, Us-Uk musics and such too !

I love arts, yes, I really do, things related to the artistic side of life will catch my interests a lot. I do concept arts and visual designs for games and movies for a living so I’m very interested in it !

I also love sports, even the ones i’m not very interested in I would love to take a look. I’m doing calisthenics and a bit of kickboxing in my routines so I’ll be interested to that , or football/soccer because i love watching Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga,etc.

Sometimes (whether true or not), I get an indignant anger and depressed feeling, thinking about the cynicism of modern culture. When characters like batman are written as dark and violent, and when money rules all, and when everything is about meanspirited comedy instead of simple love and respect. Where'a the optimism we desperately need? I don't know. Maybe it's everywhere and i'm just missing it. But it more or less feels like innocence dies more and more each year. And by the gods, it should not be this way. I should not be having to get optimism and hope from almost exclusively old tv shows and old music (with some exceptions, like a good majority of Bob's Burgers). But I swear...either i'm 20 and pining for ages i never knew (which could be possible), or i'm depressed and reading cynicism and darkness into everything, but I hate it. We need hope and light and beauty. We need something to make us feel life is worth living. Even if that thing is merely a beautiful blue sky with bright green grass. We just need these things.

This is why characters like Superman and Wonder Woman need a renaissance at DC. Or even Captain Marvel/Shazam. These characters are fun, whimsical, optimistic. They can't be dark. If they're dark, then they're not Superman or Wonder Woman or Captain Marvel. These characters are the embodiment of that old school style of optimism and hope. Wonder Woman was the embodiment of compassion with strength. Captain Marvel is just a kid in an adult body. Superman and his main villain are both humanitarians, of a sort. When your villian is Lex Luthor, then you know things are almost always gonna automatically be somewhat left wing politically, while also being incredibly hopeful. Because Luthor is rich and misguided, but he's not complete evil. The man has a heart. And that alone shows faith in mankind. To have your main villain occasionally do good things...It's a sign that life is good. Life is good, and we should live it.

• Boom! Immediate friendship! You guys go on little dates to the comic book store (platonic in the beginning). If you're an artist, he likes watching you draw fan-art and if you're a writer he'll read your fanfiction lmaoo he's supportive like that.

• Dave will also cosplay with you if you're into that (only he won't cosplay as Kick-Ass, which you think is a shame considering he'd look soooooo good in the suit 😏😉)

• Your first kiss? Awkward af. If you have glasses, 100% your glasses hit his and he freaks out. You both mess it up but in the end you end up laughing SO hard.

• He's really sweet to you and his friends all joke that you and him are like the IT couple—but for nerds. He'll flip his friends off but kiss your cheek.

• Dave loves that he can ramble with you and you listen to him without complaining. He's SO comfortable around you because you're so similar.

• You both kinda feed into your interests and delusions and have the BEST laughs. He's really your best friend!

DC/Marvel Pool Noodle Party 2024

Week 5 | Mercs & Murder Husbands

Here’s the outline of the event for those interested. TLDR, This event celebrates relationship tags that have less than 30 works on ao3, both platonic and romantic. The rarest of rarepairs!

Inspired by Harley harassing interacting with Marc and Damian in chapter 20 of in labyrinths of reflections by @blackkatmagic, specifically these lines:

“Fuck the hell off,” he growls, and gets a hand on her face as she tries to kiss his mask. She’s wearing a lot of lipstick, and he'd rather not run around the rest of the night with a black lip-print on his face. 

and

Harley blinks at him, big eyes and blond pigtails and smeared makeup that makes her look like a raccoon with a hangover, and then laughs. 

Ho-ly-shit, I cannot begin to express how happy I am with this piece! Initially I was having a hard time with MK’s suit, to the point that I was contemplating just dropping the whole project. (I hate drawing superhero suits, why do I keep on doing this to myself) Like always, all it came down to was retaking my ref and utilizing that handy-dandy line of action, and I finished it pretty easily after that.

Damian was a last minute add-on, and I wanted to draw him on Marc’s right side and a head taller (kids are bigger than you think!) but I ran out of room on the page. I ran into the same problem with Harley’s mallet; I wanted it to be bigger, but with the angle it had to sit at to rest against her thigh, I kept it on the smaller side. 

This piece has made it very clear how limiting my sketchbooks’ size is. For example, I have an idea for another week in this event, but it literally wouldn't fit in this sketchbook so I’m not going to make it. Digital art 1: traditional, 0.

I tried out a new lining style as well, and I’m never going back. Before, I was making every line the same width, but it’s SO much more impactful with alternating line thickness! I attached the lined final sketch below. Do you see how much of a difference it makes?? (Written early May, so I've been using this style since.)

Details:

I think it’s silly that Harley’s boots are covered in blood, but not her actual weapon lol

Harley is as tall as she is because she’s standing on her toes in platform boots

The tattoo on Harley’s midsection is of ivy leaves (though, it’s not poison ivy) as a sort of homage to Ivy. Not that she’s dead or anything. They’re just. Lovers. So, tattoo.

I got to put NO WORK into shading the black parts of MK’s suit, and that was FABULOUS

I wanted to give her colored shoe laces, because I love small details like that. I would love to give characters any color of laces, but some of them seem to have negative meanings, especially on Doc Martens, so I went the safe route and gave her purple laces, which represents gay pride. Yes, I know she’s bisexual, but I felt like I didn’t have many options.

Just wanted to remind everyone about that issue from Power of Shazam where Billy finds Princess Taia’s house. I think it’s on an island, so pretty closed off.

I headcanon that Fawcett heroes go to that specific house to lie low, or just to hang out. To get away from this new world and just…have a sense of normalcy(well, normalcy for Fawcett). Because there are now so many other hero groups, and they know they should branch out, but sometimes, old is safe.

This also goes for the Marvel family. Unlike with the other her teams, there was no discourse about Billy, Mary, and Freddy being children. And after years of knowing each other, it was just the norm for the Squadron to know that they are kids, treat them like equals, and also treat them like young kids deserving of love. I like to think they found that balance together.

And their relationship is just way more family oriented. Unlike other teams, they were a large family far earlier than they were a team. So when they hang out, it’s just natural wholesomeness!

SPOILERS FOR BRAVE NEW WORLD

Who's bright idea was it to make Bucky a congressman?

Please tell me who? Because I have a set of knuckles with their name on it

Now I haven't cross referenced this event with the comics so I will be speaking from a purely cinematic position.

But again who fucking through that Bucky would become a fucking congressman.

Now Thunderbolts isn't out yet so we don't know his motives or if it's his choice at all but I have answers for both scenarios.

1. If it is his choice

The person who decided that Bucky should be a congressman clearly didn't take into account Bucky's vigilante nature.

He spent all of Falcon and the Winter Soldier sticking his middle finger in the face of every government official he saw.

He hated the state for giving John the shield and planned to steal it on multiple occassions and ended up stealing it.

All throughout FATWS Bucky was doing lots of self destructive things and at the same time trying to attone for all the mistakes he had made as a winter soldier. A lot of actions he took would not have been approved by the government. But guess what? Bucky didn't give two shits.

He beat the shit out of the new Captain America and more or less spat on his name.

He was still treated like a criminal even with his pardon and as far as we know the state still doesn't trust him given his history despite all the good he has done in recent years.

That's just the present stuff. If we look into the past Bucky went to war for a country that didn't even bother to save him when they knew exactly where he was.

Sure it would have been a dangerous op, but if Steve could rescue an entire battalion on his own I think a decent chunk of that military base could have done something. He was not important enough to be saved. That much was clear.

(this is delving a bit into comic lore) but Bucky is Jewish and not only that but he's the biggest fucking activist you would ever see in his time. For his best friend who was constantly sickly and wanted nothing more than to fight for a country that wasn't really fighting for him.

Bucky spent years of the run after the collapse of SHIELD in DC being hunted like a wild animal whenever he was spotted by the local government of whatever country he was attempting to hide in.

The government is not on his fucking side and I don't see a lot of reasons why he would be.

2. If he isn't doing this again his will

Already this argument doesn't feel really stable because other than having his pardon revoked there isn't really anything anyone could hold over his head. That we know of

But also who would benefit for having Bucky in the government. Even as just a secretary. Why him? If he was chosen, why him?

I can't think of a reason someone else. Let alone why Valentina would want him. I know she was recruiting people but why Bucky. Why make him a congressman. He's got just as much blood on his hands than any of the other Thunderbolts. Yelena and Alexi probably aren't American citizens so there's that. Hardly anyone knows what Ghost or Taskmaster have done. And for a while Bucky was convicted of an immense amount of crimes. So why him?

None of it makes sense to me. I need to check the comic lore but I honestly cannot fathom why he would be a government official let alone a fucking congressman.

Some of this stuff probably touches on head canon territory but it just feels so wrong to me. Please tell me I'm not the only one?

Man, how do you even tell if something is "in character" for a comic book character? Especially the really old ones. There's been so many authors and artists not only building off each other but contradicting one another. Do you just pick out the runs you like? What if the run you dislike is important? What a mess

I mean, yeah. When dealing with characters like ones from very long running comic book series' that involve many different writers, artists, other creators, with various different politics, backgrounds, expectations and opinions to show through their writing through the medium of a shared universe in comic books, conversations around characterisation become very murky. But to me, that's part of the appeal. I think if you're getting into an old, established shared universe like Marvel Comics or DC with the expectation that everything will be canon all the time, or that characterisations of characters who have been in consistent publication for years, decades, and in some cases, coming up to centuries are going to stay static is one that is going to set you up for failure, in which case company-owned shared universe comics as a medium may not be for you. And that's okay! They don't work for everyone!

Something I think about a lot is that everyone has their own sense of canonicity, of which events do and do not matter, and that extends to writers too and it's important to sometimes approach things from the perspective of where they might be drawing certain things from. Comic book writers and creators aren't just like, people who have been living and breathing comics since birth (although some, like Jim Shooter, are). Taking for instance, Sabertooth. Did Victor LaValle write the most canon Sabertooth ever to exist? Probably not! But LaValle as a horror writer, as a very politically conscious and acclaimed novelist, has other things to say about Sabertooth than following every single comic published before him, and we have an incredibly fascinating and beautiful story for it. The opportunity to have interesting artistic and novel ideas explored just as much as the people who are clearly more based in the actual lore and history of comics like an Al Ewing is what makes this genre so wonderful to me. Each can have their own space, and sometimes even within the same character and the same team.

And yeah, there is an element of picking and choosing, but I also don't think it's right to like, dismiss anything outright. If you have to dismiss a lot, after a certain point you don't actually like the character you're reading, just the idea of them, which I think is where problems arise and where maybe more singular visions in books or creator-owned comics might suit someone better.

It's difficult with comics because you aren't ever dealing with comics in a vacuum, either–the biases of comic creators and their politics always colour their writing. I've been talking a lot about Charles Xavier for example, and he's a good example of this, because he serves equally as a mouthpiece for tolerance and acceptance for writers, and as a scapegoat for their political or personal frustrations. He is often a representation of a writers' disability politics and perspective on wheelchair users, regardless of if that's something they knowingly engage with or not. And you can't really disentangle Charles' character from ableism, because so much of his character has depended on tropes surrounding the disabled body. So trying to engage with Charles outside of this context, ignoring the ableist tropes inherent in his writing or erasing his disability outright, by both people who love him and people who hate him, leaves so much out that after a certain point you're not engaging with this character at all, you're just looking at a very vague representation of him built from your own expectations and opinions and not what the reality of his character looks like.

It's a difficult topic, and I don't really have a straight answer for you. Because on one hand, I do, as I said, think it's wrong to dismiss textual history outright, or to make blanket statements over certain eras or periods. Like, I've talked before about Claremont's racism and Zionism, which has infected the entire X-Men because of how much contributions he made to them as a franchise, but Claremont X-Men is still like, Good. It's Zionist, and racist, and incredibly fetishising towards Asian people and black women, and those are inherent to it, but there's a reason why that run is as acclaimed as it is, because even with that baggage it is still a story people love and people come to and people want to talk about. Things don't become massively popular across generations without having some artistic merit, something that speaks to people.

But, equally, striving for more tolerance, and making a safer, more open, more critical space in comic book communities is necessary, and a very important step in that process is acknowledging the sordid past of a lot of our favourite comics. Enough time has passed that people are willing to acknowledge that while the contributions made to comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby are impossible to overstate, and that those comics are artistic and beautiful and strange and have a very important place in the history of pop culture and American culture as a whole, they also are deeply misogynistic! They have very flawed opinions and perceptions of black people, and there's a host of anti-communist rhetoric that spins into active sinophobia. And we're having those conversations more and more, which is good, and necessary to start reappraising these comics and creating a better environment moving forward, but it's important to keep up that momentum for the likes of a Chris Claremont or a Grant Morrison.

There's not really a clear answer I can offer you, ultimately. To a point, it is a choose your own adventure story, but to another, comic book history is a complicated, ever changing and ever fluid thing, and dismissing parts of it to preserve your opinions on characters that are ultimately fictional takes away from what makes this kind of comic book interesting to me, and what makes it a unique creative medium.

DC x Marvel AU

"Gotham Dynamic Duo" AU

Okay...this crack-ass AU was born from one of my wildest dreams to date! In essence, Gambit and Spider-Man end up in Gotham together!!

After watching X-Men 97, my mom telling me she was obsessed with Gambit in her youth, and reading a ton of "Spider-Man in Gotham" fics...I had a weird dream where a lot of different concepts were mixed together! It was seriously a freaking weird dream.

How did Gambit and Peter end up in Gotham?

• After Gambit's death, there was a glitch in the universe because at that moment Doctor Strange was casting the spell that would erase Peter from the collective memory (but as happens in many fics) instead, Peter was erased from existence and sent to Gotham... Gambit's soul got caught in the middle and traveled with him!

Where do our two unfortunate victims end up?

• In a Lazarus Pit! Yep! Rage pit for Remy and Peter >:D I like to think that the regenerative properties of the pit basically undid Gambit's lobotomy and gave him back, at least partially, his original powers! While Peter is more spider-like than before!

• The rage pit presents itself differently in Gambit and Peter! For Peter, it's like his spider-sense goes haywire, putting him in a fight-or-flight mode... while for Gambit, it's more mental; he doesn't become animalistic like Peter or lose control like Jason. Instead, Gambit suffers from not having a way to stop violent intrusive thoughts, like... instead of attacking senselessly, he plots murder!

Relationships and Interactions!

• Between Peter and Gambit: Since they're both kind of trapped together in Gotham, they stick together! With Peter creating false identities for the two of them (with Gambit assigned as his legal guardian after Peter's parents "death") and Gambit being the responsible adult who brings home the bread!

• Between Peter/Gambit and the Rouge/villains: I'm a sucker for the aunt-nephew relationship between Peter and Harley (plus Ivy) so...yeah, just silly stuff between them! While Gambit has more of a working relationship with some villains. Example: he works on the iceberg lounge for the Penguin as a waiter...and dancer!

• Between Peter/Gambit and the Batfamily: Gotham's favorite stalker bats mostly interact with Peter, since (surprise surprise) Peter goes to Gotham High and has more opportunities to interact with them. Gambit, on the other hand, is more of an afterthought to the bats; he's only Peter's legal guardian...but not for Jason!

Here we enter the strangest part of my dream...a crack ship! Please don't hate me

• Peter/Gambit’s relationship with Jason: Since our pit boys are broke as hell, they both live in a small apartment in Crime Alley…Red Hood territory! Peter is another alley kid to Jason, an interesting one since he’s caught the attention of his family…but Gambit? He’s love struck with our favorite Cajun man! After seeing him leaving Penguin’s nightclub and getting jumped by some drunks, Jason springs into action to protect him (keeping in mind his code of looking out for the sex workers/escorts in Crime Alley…though I’m not sure WHERE that iceberg is…so just roll with that!) he determines that, as a dancer, Gambit falls into that category…but who knew that Louisiana charm (and accent) would end up giving Jason a crush!

Ages & Timeline!... only for some though!

• Gambit: 27 years old. I know in the series (X-Men 97) Gambit is supposed to be between 30 and 35 years old, but I wanted to make him a little younger... That and because I thought he was around 25 when I saw the series! So... yeah...

• Peter: 17 15 years old. Following the movie canon (NWH), it's speculated that he's between 17 and 18 years old! But continuing with the cliché of Peter being younger, he physically and mentally regresses at the age of 15... the same could apply to Gambit.

• Damian: 13 years old... because I like the idea of Damian being a dangerous little pre-teen!

• Bruce: 40 years old... listen! Old and tired dad, Bruce! Besides, the life of a vigilante is stressful. This man has aged quite a bit due to the stress of fighting crime... and being a father to wild children!

Extras & concepts I don't know where to put!!

• Gambit and Peter are permanently trapped in Gotham! Peter because of Doctor Strange's spell...and Gambit because he died and his soul is no longer in his original universe, so...no Deathbit for X-Men 97!

• John Constantine!...listen, I love Constantine, my mom is a huge fan of his movie and she recently started reading his comics, so I wanted to include him. Plus, I have an AU with Constantine I'm working on.

He's just Gambit's drunk friend. The two met by chance and Constantine smelled the "this guy doesn't belong here" vibe as soon as he met Gambit, so...they just see each other from time to time to drink and shit.

• Gambit's powers, while not at the same level as pre-lobotomy, are quite strong! managing to charge things (and living matter) with kinetic energy without touching them if he concentrates enough.

• The relationship between Jason and Gambit was the main reason for the existence of this AU and an important part of my dream. I think... since Gambit is still heartbroken because of Rouge, Jason would have a hard time trying to win him over...and if we add to that Jason own conflicting feelings about being in love after so long, Jason and Gambit have a complicated relationship, like friends-to-lovers kind of thing but also puppy-love!

maybe i'll do art for this AU later, but it all depends on my motivation...also, i don't know too much about DC or Marvel, so pls don't hate on this AU! it's all harmless fun!

Yeah I’d say that’s true. MJ is the most important woman in Peter’s life (excluding May for obvious reasons) just like Selina is in Bruce’s. JQ & DC is most likely a PR stunt, not a real relationship. Joseph had (most likely/pretty much) rejected her back in 2022 and she had dissed him in one of her songs called "Attention", basically saying he's lazy as shit, how he needs a new wig (Eddie reference), how he thought he was above her (he basically is), how she didn't care that he wouldn't fuck her (she does), and how she had him famous from the problem she had with Noah (she fucking didn't, it was all Joseph that made him famous). Obviously, she couldn't take rejection. Also, she has an album coming out and tours to do and he has Gladiator 2, F4, and he was in British Vogue. She's a very bad person and I have no idea why she had to be the pick for the PR stunt but whatever. Also, the stupid thing is that people are attacking Joseph's father for "raising his son badly". Which passes me off because his dad didn't do anything. This is all JQ and DC's issue. I don't want them bringing his father into this. See many people are saying to "just accept the fact that they're dating" but they aren't even dating. Joseph didn't like her in 2022 and she's very bad. She couldn't take rejection like a bitch. And she's very demonic and weird as fuck. This has to do with Marvel or something and this JQ and DC news is from a person who's notorious for PR stunts. Also, JQ isn't the only one doing these things. It's just a Marvel thing I guess. And to anyone who supports DC or even likes her, that's insane. I talked about this to my mother and grandmother and they even say that it's fake and it's just a PR stunt. A similar thing happened with famous rappers Ice Spice and Central Cee where they did a PR stunt with their new collab song. And they both are problematic in their ways. Also if anyone thinks that hating on Doja is "racist", most people agree that Lupita and Joe would've been way better and cuter. Lupita is a real woman and very kind and not problematic while DC is just a stupid girl who's weird as shit. And I'm not jealous at all, I could care many fucks less about Joe's dating life. But this is DC, a very problematic girl who's done very bad things and is very demonic and weird as hell. If it was any woman that people knew and wasn't problematic, it would've been way better. But this isn't any chick, it's Doja. So people can make all the articles as they want but in the end, it's fake as fuck. It's a PR stunt. We'll get the blurry pic on Deux and then suddenly not even an hour after there's an article on THE SUN and then suddenly there's a video from two weeks ago and then suddenly someone saw them a day earlier and all this happens in the span of what? 2 hours? And oh suddenly someone spots him on a concert of her from a month ago where his neck seems like the one of a giraffe?

The video where he's grabbing her "ass" is's suspicious as hell...it's more her hip than her ass but ok we could argue about that but it's clear that he's asking her before he lets his hand slide down so for me it's staged af and doesn't scream "comfortable".

DC is a bad person and everyone who says something else is simply...I don't know...

No matter "If she has changed" or "maybe she's different"...I don't care that her fans are saying "she's calmer" and what else.

Believe me, I can disagree on things as well and I am disagreeing on his choice here. I know for him it doesn't matter but just because I'm a fan, I can still express my anger about the bullshit he does (and everyone who has been following me for longer knows that I'm usually one who defends him).

I've made this comparison before, but not in months. Captain Mar-Vell (Marvel's first Captain Marvel) was killed off in 1982. Jason Todd was killed off in 1988. That's a six year gap. And do you know who wrote both stories? Jim Starlin. Jim Starlin was a jackass who always seemed to love death. It shows up in all his stories. And jim starlin killing two characters within six years...I think that says something about him.

It also says something that he wanted to give Jason Todd AIDS, even trying to rig a DC writers poll in his own favour for that one. And he wrote the permanent death of Captain Marvel just because he didn't want to pay for therapy when his dad died. These are real stories I collected off of wikipedia, and I hate jim starlin for all of these things. I feel like my old posts on this topic went more in depth, but I still hate him for this stuff.
