A look to his side confirmed that statement, Dawn was smiling at his flowers as the birds circled him curiously.

Why I Love Tenkaemaki

Hello I’m back from the dead I’ve been busy but I’m back with more Dr rants.

And I promise after this it will go back to the normal rants unless you guys like this form of content.

I fucking love Tenkaemaki that’s it that’s the whole post.

They’ve been my ot3 for a while after I stopped really hardcore shipping Tenmiko and Tenmaki became my otp and ughhhh! they’re just so ahhhhhh!

Like of course I can say that they’re cute and Maki has two loving girlfriends that will treat her like the princess she is and Kaede gets two strong girlfriends to simp over and Tenko gets two girlfriends she can protect from degenerate males even though they don’t really need her to but…

It’s also Maki having two overly affectionate girlfriends and being like affectionate ugh what is this give me more it’s Kaede not having to carry a burden by herself it Tenko caring and being cared for in return and finding true strength in leaning on others and not putting herself in danger time and time again because even though it’s a nice gesture to put yourself on the line to protect someone she has people who love her waiting for her at home.

It’s all of them not asking for help and caring for others without caring for themselves and having acts of service as a love language.

It’s Kaede sitting up all night pacing around her room waiting for her girlfriends to come back from their very dangerous jobs/ talents ready with tea and cuddles and comforting words. It’s Tenko and Maki forcing Kaede to take a break because she’s been wearing her self thin focusing on the class’s well being.

It’s all of them definitely pondering committing crimes for each other.

It’s them not having to say I love you they know in every touch every action every gesture.

It’s Maki’s bluntness and Kaede’s gentle Tenko’s hyperactive.

It’s Tenko and Maki both being so disconnected from their childhood due to their upbringing and Kaede giving them those gentle nice things they never got just so they know they deserve it and that they’re allowed to have nice things.

It’s Maki and Kaede stopping Tenko from being to hard on herself and over working herself it’s them correcting her how ever many times that it takes after she claims she’s not pretty enough not talented enough not good enough.

It’s Maki still not being used to affection after being tackle hugged for years but comfortable enough that she lets herself be hugged without retaliation and even reciprocates or initiates the affection.

It’s Kaede kissing Tenko and Maki’s scars.

It’s the group wondering how emotionally closed off cold and blunt Maki got two girlfriends.

It’s the fact they can make each other better and help each other grow in the best ways.

It’s the fact that they’re all independent and strong but have this mutual protection where no one is truly the “weak” one, but they all fall into that role for each other at times.

It’s rotating cycle of tough love and tenderness where each one of them refuses to rest until the other two do first.

It’s the “I’m hurt but you’re hurting more so I’m going to take care of you first but I know when you’re better you’re going to be pissed.”

Each of them keeps thinking they’re the burden, while the other two are the ones who truly deserve love and rest. So it turns into this heartbreaking relay race of:

“You’re always protecting us. Let us protect you.”

“You always listen. Let us listen to you.”

“You always take care of things. Let us take care of you.”

TenKaeMaki is amazing they’re so good and I just want the best for all my girls dammit all three of them deserve the world.

March 1st — First kiss(es)

This could be the first kiss of a dyad(s) in your ship/polycule or the first group kisses of an ot3+. Maybe it's passionate, maybe it's tender, or it could be a quick shy peck in the lips to test the waters, a caring kiss to the head, or even a casual greeting kiss on the cheek. It doesn't have to be between your ship either - it could be seeing a love interest kiss someone else and the feelings it stirs up, a surprise friendly kiss at something like a team victory, or the first familial kiss to a new member of the family, or even someone dramatically kissing a prized possession

March 2nd — Hurt/Comfort

What trouble might your characters get into? Do they take part in fights or other types of action that might harm them or is the hurt they have happen to them more of the everyday kind, like sickness or accidents? Do they take risks that come back to haunt them, are they unlucky, or does someone else's carelessness injure them? For comfort, how can others help them feel better? This could be tending wounds or taking care medically if they have the know how, or if that's their only choice in the situation, or it could be physical comforts like hugs, looking after them while recovering, sympathy, an kind ear to listen and commiserate. What if their partner(s) aren't able to comfort them and comfort comes from another person they know, or if their partner(s) are responsible for the hurt, how would that make them feel?

March 3rd — First date as polycule

Where do they go? How do they all agree, does anyone have to compromise or is less than keen on the choice? Are there any difficulties with things people can't do or places they can't go due to their history or agreements they have with partners? Is everyone able to come along and if the network of connections extends far out, how do they decide who would count as in the immediate polycule to invite? How long does it take to find a time and place everyone agrees to? Does everyone have a good time and is there any drama or relationship developments that come from the date?

TWD Poly AU part 2

(Daryl x Fem!Reader x Shane)

Ok so, this is the next part of this AU, in which, even tho I hate canon Shane, I love Jon Bernthal and I love an OT3, so here I am

Important to remember that in this AU Rick never got shot at the beggining so Shane never got with Lori, and he's just annoying but not actually psychotic

You don't need to tell the rest of the group that you and Daryl are together, they can tell, even if the two of you haven't defined the relatioship they just know something is happening

Mostly because of how protective of you Daryl became

He already was very protective of you, since he saved you and Glenn he felt the responsibility to help you out

But after the confession at the lake he was 10 times more, he was always with you, following you around the farm, helping you out in whatever chore you were working at the time

And whenever he had to go out hunting he would bring you gifts

Stuff like cool rocks, or trinkets that he thinks you would like or find helpful

So everyone knows something is happening

Most of them think Daryl has a crush on you, Glenn knows whats up tho

But since you haven't actually made it official, some people (shane, it was only shane) liked to mess with you two

Shane is flirty by nature, he would flirt with rocks if they could talk back

And he enjoys making a girl nervous, so it wasn't about you specifically, at least in the beggining

He just saw the opportunity to make everyone uncomfortable and took it

He started teasing, making inappropiate comments to you at random moments, mostly in front of Daryl

"Hey honey, wanna come with me? To the fence I mean." And he always had that smug smile when Daryl reacted angrily at him

Daryl is not the jealous type tho, he just gets very angry when someone disrespects you "You're a pig, Shane" but he knows you can defend yourself and he lets you

Shane whenever he sees you: "Hey sweetie, wanna have some fun?"

You: "Are there any woman who actually fall for that?"

But you know Shane just likes to be annoying, so you let it slide with a snarky remark to let him know you're not interested

And even tho he just wanted to mess with Daryl he got confused when the guy never confronted him

Like, if Daryl was with you, why wouldn't he fight him?

So he started thinking you two weren't actually together, maybe Daryl was in love with you or smthn but obviously you weren't a couple

And the flirting becomes stronger because he wanted to win you over, maybe just to spite the hunter

And Daryl gets angrier but never says anything directly to Shane

He just stares at him, sometimes lets a growl out but that's it

Shane: "Whenever you get tired of that hunter Im here for you, babe"

You: "And you thought I'd be interested because...?"

And he just laughs at you, the laugh of someone who is secure of something, like he knows you'll fall for him

And while Daryl hates that Shane thinks he has the right to talk to you so freely, he thinks it's absolutely hilarious how you turn him down everytime

Daryl: "Damn, girl, you're brutal"

That's until Shane crosses a line, because so far it's only been some stupid pick-up lines and the like, but then one day it got actually uncomfortable

You were at the kitchen with Maggie, sorting out some canned food and putting it away when Shane entered the room and he just stood there checking you out with that crooked smile of his

Not saying anything bad to you just, a long look that was way too confortable on your body and a low whistle from him that actually made Maggie give him a side eye

Shane: "such a nice view, I should do more chores around the house"

And it actually made you feel weirded out, like it was a little too much and for the first time you didnt have a clever answer to reject him

Daryl: "What's wrong with you, man? You like making women afraid?"

Shane: "Oh, sorry, I didn't know the guardian dog was home"

And he just left with a laugh, and Daryl hugged you in front of Maggie

And Maggie is connecting the dots inside her head like, she suspected (like the rest of the group) that something was up between you two, but it wasn't until that moment that she got explicit confirmation

A few days later Daryl actually decides to talk to shane, not because he is jealous but bc he doesnt want you to feel insecure

Daryl: Hey, man, jus't wanted to talk to you about something...

Shane: What do you want, dude?

Daryl: I don't like how you treat her, how you stare at her, it's not funny and she obvioulsy doesn't want it

Shane: You're gonna tell me how to treat people now?

Daryl: I'm telling you I like her, so back off, yeah?

Shane: whatever dude, it's not like she can't reject me if she actually wanted to

And shane understands Daryl is interested in you but it's still not clear to him that you two are together, so it just intensifies his need to mess with him

Honestly I have a mental image of how the story goes (chronologicaly) but I have a huge gap during Shane's transition from asshole to baby and I am STRUGGLING to make it work bc I just want OT3 moments now but I have to work through the evil!shane arc first:(

Just for fun I was trying to imagine a similar scenario for the rest of the boys, and realized that by dividing them in two groups between the ones that were born in the first part of the year and the ones born in the middle of the year, you end up with a group that's made of 5 bottoms + Kalim and Ortho. Ortho might need to bring his full arsenal for this... Like a swiss army knife!

Also you’re right, Anon lol For some reason, with Ace/Idia, it feels like Ace would be that cool kohai. Not like he’s super cool or anything, but he’s so confident and chill in social situations, but also sleazy and cunning enough to be on the same wavelengths with Idia. With Idia he also doesn’t get all tsundere somehow and expresses that he finds Idia cool pretty confidently… what is it about Ace and acting cute for his senpais???

roylum: makes sense and compels me! no one is surprised lol. while i am not hip with where roy and cal are at in their friendship currently (i don't think they're roommates anymore? and i have been so far removed from personal lives that one of them could be living on the moon and they could've had a huge falling out) but the fact that roy stayed with calum in bali and that was one of the first times they'd really hug out and then they moved in together and seemed to get genuine joy and connection from each other means that they both make sense to me and compel me! the podcast roy did with cal as a guest was also just such a great peek into their dynamic and the ways that they understand each other in a really lovely way

elmax: this one is kind of fully in the middle of the four categories. it kind of makes sense but not enough for me to commit to it making sense and it doesn't not compel me but it also doesn't compel me. romantically i think max is the only other person who would maybe make sense for el, but i do think a lot of the popularity of this ship comes from people wanting to gay things up and have some lesbians in there while shipping mike and will. they're fine, but i think a lot of their dynamic that we've seen so far stemmed from them being the only two girls in the friend group rather than actual genuine connection. i want the show to expand on them a lot more than they have. although they do get points for el literally bringing max back to life.

1. ride or die ship: I don't know that I can pick just one ship. Can I pick an OT3? Aloy/Nil/Kotallo has rotted my brain. I love all three of them so much.

2. most annoying ship: *insert Mad Max gif "That's bait"*

3. second favorite ship: Hmm... this is also a tough one. Including Fashav in any iteration with the the OT3 always makes things interesting.

4. favorite platonic relationship: Nil and Attah. One of my favorite little bits during the Gauntlet runs is when Aloy first appears at Dry Yearn and Nil gives up his spot for her. All he has to do is LOOK at Attah, and she knows exactly what he wants to do. That kind of understanding between two people is hard to find, and I love the idea that Nil has found that kind of friendship where words aren't needed.

5. Underrated ship: *bangs table* NIL/KOTALLO

6. overrated ship: See question 2

7. one thing i would change in canon: We are MISSING a Carja in the Gaia Gang, and it deserves to be Nil!

8. something canon did right: Growing Aloy's connection to the tribes through the Gaia Gang and the whole arc where she comes to realize she doesn't have to fight alone.

9. a thing i’m proud of creating for the fandom: Oof, hm. Creating the Nilysium server is probably one. There are so many great people in there, and I feel so fortunate that this fandom brought us all together. And then there's also my copious list of fics on AO3.

10. a character who is perfect to me: I mean, I think my fave is pretty obvious. Nil is complex and interesting and endlessly fun to write. Kotallo has some of the best, most thoughtful character development in the whole game. Aloy's journey is not done, but she's come so far and I love her so much.

13. something i’ve learned from the fandom: This is the first fandom that I've really taken part in, and I've met so many amazing people. I feel like I've become a better writer, more organized and thoughtful. I never used to outline or keep track of my daily word counts until I joined this fandom. It's so annoying how some of you think you have the right to control people's opinions and likes, I'm sorry but some of us like other things outside of BTS and there's nothing wrong with that, that doesn't make us any less of an ARMY or fake fans or whatever you read on Twitter. It's honestly so childish to think of another fandom, even worst, of a totally different group as an enemy. ARMYS, like Blinks and any other fandom, have people who say and do horrible things, we can't pretend that everyone is like that, because it's not true. I'm sorry to tell you all this but the hate towards guys doesn't just come from blinks, just like Ari said, a lot of it also comes from the "fans" themselves, I've seen a lot of blinks shitting on tannies, but I've also seen a lot of ot6 accounts, shipers and solos harassing them in such cruel ways, just like I've seen some armys,ot3 and solos do it to Blackpink. I love both bands and that doesn't make me any less of a fan of either, it's ok if you don't like bp, no one asks you to, just don't try to push your opinions on others by acting like it's the factual truth, I understand some of you have had some bad run-ins with each other, but then again, not everyone is like that.
