Kaellie Murphy & Opie Winston
A mood-board , requested by @alohomorasomnium (This is what I picture when I see you and Ope meeting for the first time, based off your self-description! Enjoy 🖤)
Head cannons
The first time you ran into the infamous, well known feared biker was in the local library, of all places. You froze in your tracks, a deer in headlights, cornered in the section of romance novels.
“I think I’m lost… would you mind directing me to the mechanics section?”
With relief, you softly smile as you nodded. You brushed past his towering figure which nearly blocked the entire aisle. He watched you carefully, gently following your footsteps as you led him to the “M” aisle. The silence was deafening, all that sounded were the clanking his rings rubbing against each other & the jingle of his chain link.
“Here you are, sir”
“It’s Ope, and thank you…”
“Kaellie”
“Nice to meet you Kaellie”
You could feel his eyes on you as you continued your search for the best love story. He wasn’t so scary after all, just a criminal that likes to read about mechanics.
He sat on his bike, buckling in his helmet when your appearance caught his attention yet again. He chuckled to himself as he watched you straddle your own Harley.
“God damn.. a girl after my own heart”
He followed you, his curiosity growing more and more as you rode a-ways, deeper into the town of charming. You turned off your engine once you arrived at the music store.
“Haven’t had a stalker in a while” you say as you approach him on his bike.
“Why are you following me?”
“I’m not sure.. I put my hand on the throttle and now here I am”
The two of you shared a smile. It was then you both knew that there was a deep longing to get to know each other, one that couldn’t be ignored.
Library dates became your constant with Opie. To your discovery, it turns out he actually has a liking for poetry. He was too ashamed to admit it, hence when he found you for the first time, he concealed that part of himself. But… he doesn’t have to worry about that anymore.
He thoroughly enjoys your endless passion for reading, he loves that you’re a hopeless romantic. He lingers around you, pretending to be interested in finding a novel when really he was just fascinated by you. He would watch you, reach to the top shelf for books for you, grabbing your hands in between aisles as he listened to your giggles from the other side. You brought him a sense of peace, calm, and a growing pain in his chest that squeezed him each time he saw you. He knew he was doomed from the get go.
Bike rides were his favourite dates, pulling off the highway to a patch of green. He would always pick wildflowers nearby, and always blue as its your favourite colour. He would then light his Marlboro, and rest on his back against the soft grass, grinning as you nuzzled in his side, nose deep in a novel. After some time, the two of you would look up into the sky, laughing at shapes of the clouds, absorbing the California sun.
“It doesn’t get much better than this babe, it’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy.. please don’t ever go” he would say softly before kissing you.
“Never Ope, you’re the best love story that I was looking for”
Kaellie and Opie are the picture of a beautiful love song. The bond that runs through them cut so deep, they’re able to communicate without words. Opie took his time before bringing Kaellie around the club, afraid she might run from the life when in all reality she embraced it. Behind her kindness, her sweet smile, there was a hidden outlaw dying to come out. She took the role of being his old lady and continued to effortlessly impress him and the rest of the club.
There was always chaos & madness within the club, but whenever there was a quiet moment, kaellie could be found on the rooftop, getting lost in another story. Opie then started to write his own poetry, since he had finally found his muse.
“The outlaw that found love again”
