this post is just my take on what girliness is to me and how i incorporate it into my life bcuz its a lifestyle for me. being super feminine and feeling happy and beautiful in that way is how i choose to live and this post is just talking about how i go about that. ofc with anything that u consume. take what resonates with you and leave the rest but i hope you'll enjoy…💬🎀

GIRLY MINDSET ;
i think of very highly of myself, like a princess. i did lots of self concept work to get my self concept to where it is now and i can confidently say that my self concept is just as flawless as i am. because i think so highly of myself, i treat myself accordingly. something that i reinforce in my thoughts is to treat myself like my favorite doll.
what does it mean to treat yourself like your favorite doll? PAMPER yourself, treat urself sweetly and preciously and your body and mind and soul will thank you tenfold. every investment that u put into urself whether its mental or physical will give you the highest ROI then anything else can because its YOU.
IN TOUCH WITH GIRLINESS ;
im rly in touch with my girliness when im practicing self care or doing something creative (like girlblogging for example) to me, femininity is expression and creativity and energy and beauty so anything that resonates with those four words is enriching my own girliness.

pampering and self care time every single day is a MUST
dancing or stretching
most tension for girls at least, is stored in ur hips, so whenever ur doing stretches or when u dance, i like to focus on my hips movements so that then i can release tension and let energy flow. doing so helps me to feel super in touch with my girliness and my femininity in general, so things like belly dancing and yoga.
PAMPERING ;
manis/pedis WEEKLY or every two weeks, u dont have to get them professionally done if u dont want to, but mainly focus on being well kept and well groomed and moisturized.
making sure my hair looks pretty and to my liking
being EXTRA during shower time ; using high quality and sweet smelling products, using body oils and body butters and lotions. taking bubble baths and using fancy bath milks and bubble bath.
GIRLY INCORPORATION ;
you can glamorize even the simplest of tasks by being super girly. here are some examples of incorporating girliness into mundane tasks. girliness is lots of ROMANTICIZATION

studying -> using cute stationary (mine are predominantly pink) decorated notes, cute study playlist (i listen to subliminals) keep an adorable space to study and wear a cute outfit
GIRLY CODE ;
being sweet and gentle with everyone (including urself) is SUCH a girly move and it makes u so pleasant and doll-like. theres no need to be nasty for no reason, cuz thats not hot. so mind ur p's and q's. say thank you, articulate ur feelings and ur thoughts. also, me saying making an effort to be nice is girly code does NOT mean that if someone is coming at u some kind of way that u shouldn't stand up for urself bcuz u absolutely should, but rly emphasize grace.
GIRLY ACCESSORIES ;
bracelets
anklets
purses
head bands
mini-skirts
on an ending note the main keys to girliness from my experience is all about how u treat urself, and that'll translate to how u treat others. and this post can serve as your reminder to pamper and spoil yourself bcuz u deserve it…💬🎀

My High Maintenance Routine

These are the things I do daily and weekly to look amazing and continue to get hotter💋🎀
Daily:
- dry brush before shower
- shower with exfoliating gloves
- azelaic acid 20% on armpits then deodorant on top
- lava stone foot pumice
- shave
- moisturize
- extractions
- ice roll in the morning
- morning skincare:
- face wash
- hyaluronic acid
- moisturizer
- sunscreen
- nighttime skincare:
- face wash
- moisturizer
- tretinoin 0.025% (3-5x a week)
- azelaic acid 20%
- differin 0.1%
- oral care (floss, brush, tongue scrape)
- lash serum 1-2x a day
- drink 2-3L of water
- eat fresh fruit
- 9-10k steps minimum
- some type of exercise (power walking, pilates, yoga, dumbbell exercises)
- morning vitamins: d3, vitamin c, nac, mineral complex with zinc, selenium, and copper
- nighttime vitamins: magnesium bisglycinate, b12* (1-2x a week)
- nighttime stretching
- tea before bed (green tea, chamomile, peppermint)
- put phone on red mode at night
- cycle sync
- look nice every time i leave the house
Weekly:
- change bed sheets
- hair wash (shampoo and deep condition)
- whiten teeth at home
- everything shower
- sheet mask
- pedicure
- go on date nights with my bf

I have been reading and enjoying your Sid-as-a-sub asks, and I do have to say I really like the thought of him actually being the first one to publicly come out as a sub in the twilight of his career. He's done the whole shebang, he's gotten his awards and trophies, and now he's seeing himself *so much* in the younger generation coming up in the league, and he doesn't normally feel old but suddenly he's remembering just how hard it was when he first got started, and yeah he adjusted and got used to it, but that doesn't mean it's not still an constant ache, and really why *should* they have to get used to it? And he's already cemented his legacy as one of the best to ever play, he's *still* fantastic in his late 30s, and Pittsburgh isn't going to be getting better any time soon, there's no realistic Cup window in the years he has left - why not do this one last thing, not necessarily for the League, but for the players who *make* the League, and suffer while doing so?
Idk, I've always been deeply fond of that man, both as one of the "characters" who first got me into hrpf and also just a seemingly genuinely *good* man and fantastic athlete.
Listen you do not need to sell me on the idea of Sidney Crosby using his status at the top of North American ice hockey to come out and make things better for future generations. Love this suggestion to bits. Obviously it wouldn't happen until he had spent quite a few years settling into his identity as a sub -- but I think Nate would make sure that happens.

Alhaitham thinks his partner looks the prettiest all disheveled and half-asleep, especially if it was the result of pulling an all-nighter. Loves the sight of his partner practically a zombie in the mornings, blearily blinking their eyes as they shuffle into the kitchen.
That is the only reason he'd wake up early, so he can head over and steer them onto the divan so he can fix up their coffee/breakfast and continue admiring them as they try to keep their eyes open, or try to talk to him through scarcely coherent mumbles.

i've seen a few “zukka can't take showers together” posts and tbh i haven't found one i fully agree w yet. scorching hot and freezing cold and whatever doesn't matter. they are perfectly willing to put up w either. Zuko runs hot and likes cool showers, except when he's in cold climates and takes them warmer. Sokka straight up doesn't like being cold, tho he can put up w it. he likes hot baths and pampering, but he's careful that it doesn't dry out his skin.
the real reason they can't shower together is bc they will absolutely fuck in the shower and one of them will definitely nearly concuss themselves in their eagerness. they're in love and they can't keep their hands off each other! also, they end up taking too long and show up late without the courtesy of calling to let their friends know they're gonna be late bc they're too busy making out to call.
so whenever one of them (or both) has somewhere to be, they shower separately. it's the only way they're almost on time. (they have to stop to make out a little, them's the breaks.)

oh i think i know what's wrong with me
i'm crashing. that explains
catastrophizing about my fatigue
lack of appetite
general bad mood & everything sucks
severe executive dysfunction
i didnt notice cause im not feeling much more fatigued than the past week of hell-hotness but that's what Caused the crash.
i also didnt notice cause besides the fatigue my other big symptom of crash is pain but ive been having relevantly more pain in general the past months and got accordingly more dissociated from it. i used to say i dont want painkillers cuz the pain makes me notice my limits but that approach doesn't rly work anymore cuz im always in pain now. and also always dissociating from it.

disclaimer i am NOT a dermatologist so to create this post i did LOTS of research and i'll link all of my sources at the end of the post. i just wanted to kind of put everything that i found in here so i hope its helpful 💕🗒️

HOW TO DETERMINE UR SKIN TYPE ;
wash ur face with a gentle cleanser, pat dry and wait for about 30 minutes. if ur skin appears shiny throughout then u have oily skin, if ur skin appears tight/flaky then u have dry skin.
if u notice a slight shine on your nose and forehead then you have normal skin. if you have a combination skin type, then the skin will get oily around the t-zone.
INGREDIENTS TO LOOK FOR ;
for skin with acne -> salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, sulfur and mandelic acid.
for dry skin -> lactic acid, hyaluronic acid, ceramides and glycerin.
for pigmented skin -> mandelic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C, and arbutin.
INGREDIENTS THAT U SHOULD NOT MIX ;
mixing retinol and vitamin C causes irritation, mixing vitamin C and glycolic acid results in over-exfoliation, mixing AHA and retinol causes extreme dryness.
INGREDIENTS THAT U SHOULD MIX ;
hyaluronic acid + ceramides = repairing skin barrier. niacinimide + salicylic acid = healing acne. retinol + niacinimide = collagen production.
GLOWY SKIN TIPS ;
use a cleansing balm to cleanse ur face to remove all the impurities from ur skin
use serums to hydrate ur skin
lather on moisturizer, dont put too much to the point where ur skin cannot produce its own oils, but you MUST moisturize
apply sunscreen everyday, not only on ur face but also on ur neck and hands
face masks 1-2x a week
get enough sleep, drink enough water, and steer clear of overly processed foods
SKINCARE DOESNT STOP AT UR CHIN ;
its important to take care of the skin on ur neck for SO many reasons because skincare doesnt stop at ur chin. ur neck reflects the first signs of aging, and its most susceptible to sun damage so show it some love!
use the same products that u use on ur face on ur neck also, moisturize ur neck and always apply sunscreen, lastly, use some retinol to build collagen.
HOW TO APPLY RETINOL ;
when applying retinol, use a pea sized amount. avoid application around ur eyes and the openings in ur nose, and use retinol in ur night skincare routine only.
HOW OFTEN TO USE SKINCARE ;
retinol should be used nightly (1-2x a week for beginners). hyaluronic acid should be used (2x a day). salicylic acid should be used (1-2x a week). sunscreen should be applied daily, no need to apply it at night and if u can, you should reapply it every 2-3 hours. vitamin C (1x a day in the morning).
SERUMS FOR UR SKIN-TYPE ;
for oily skin use -> salicylic acid, niacinimide and mandelic acid.
for dry skin use -> hyaluronic acid, ceramides and lactic acid.
for normal skin use -> vitamin C, glycolic acid, and retinol.
for aging skin use -> peptides, retinol and vitamin C.
for acne prone skin use -> salicylic acid, retinol, and niacinimde.
for combination skin use -> mandelic acid, niacinimide, and glycolic acid.
WHAT TYPE OF FACEMASK IS BEST FOR YOU ;
cream masks are good for all skin-types and it soothes and moisturizes. clay masks are good for oily or acne prone skin and it absorbs oil and controls shine. charcoal masks are good for oily or acne prone skin, and it deep cleanses and unclogs.
sheet masks are good for all skin-types, it nourishes and hydrates. enzyme masks are good for all skin-types and it gently exfoliates and brightens the skin. bubble masks are good for all skin-types and it hydrates and soothes.
gel masks are good for all skin-types and it provides a cooling effect. exfoliating masks are good for all skin-types BUT if u have sensitive skin then exfoliating masks are not for you. exfoliating masks remove dead skin cells and debris.
HOW TO LAYER UR SKINCARE ;
in the morning (cleanser + toner + hydrating serum + vitamin c + moisturizer + sunscreen) in the evening (double cleanse + toner + hydrating serum + retinol + moisturizer)

How to achieve glass skin look this and that and whatever i am more and more convinced it's just ppl with non-acne prone skin in the first place wearing a dewy foundation and/or a hydrating face serum. And also filters and good lighting. When i put on my little 4.99€ essence hyaluronic acid serum my skin looks dewy like that it just also happens to be human so i do still have pores and a few pimples here and there
