Jason is that one unemployed sibling who texts you weird shit at 3:27 pm on a Tuesday.

Like, Dick, sweating his ass off in his police uniform getting a text from Jason, which btw, extremely rare- and it's just a Twin tomato (two tomatoes grown as one ykwim) and captioned w "ur ass"

or Tim is in the middle of his board meeting and he gets an email from Red Hood and hes like stressing out chcking it only to find a pic of his apartment's kitchen's pantry asking "why dont you have salt?"

and then damian coming back from school to see his phone full of texts from Jason and it's all pics of ugly animals and every pic is captioned with "u" "u again" "wow u"

Bruce getting a morse code going "check phone" and it's a video of Jason flying away on an alien helicopter contraption with Roy yelling after him asking him to get down and jason saying he doesnt know how this shit works.

One piece is a story about healing your inner child but it takes the interesting approach in directly acknowledging that children are…weird, violent, and annoying most of the time.

Luffy is telling his crew mates to allow themselves the opportunity to get the experience that they’ve always wanted growing up while allowing for them to be every bit mean and violent and selfish that normal kids are allowed…in conjunction with normal happy situations.

Like yeah they build pillow forts on the deck and eat as a family BUT kid Zoro would have loved a violent competition of who can beat the most marines…kid Robin would just yearn to stare at a corpse with those big blue eyes…kid Nami would want to rob the place blind…kid Franky would want to build something big and scary…kid Usopp would want to talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk…

So they all get to. This is not a picturesque childhood where every just needs a good cry and a big hug. Most of these kids were weird from the get-go and were not given the proper environment to foster that type of necessary enrichment.

Welcome aboard the ship of dreams where you’re gonna heal your inner child by competing with everyone else in deck to see who can be the biggest bitch (spoken with love).

idk but to me something so quintessential about timothy drake is that he is your average american teenage boy and as your average teenage american boy he is viscerally and desperately terrified of loneliness. the way he latched on to every single aspect of dick's life in an attempt to be close to someone who showed him kindness as a child, the way he'll lower his distinctly bruce-wayne-shaped walls to let in young justice because once his friends know him they won't leave him, hell the way he somehow keeps up his friendship with ives despite all the times he's dropped off the radar. something about this child is such an achingly yearning beast which adores company that he rips through typical fantastical comic book angst and falls straight back into the behavior of My New Neighbor The Average American Teenage Boy in a way i don't think i consciously realized until recently

Queer pop duo Stobin. They both do drag when they perform and with the makeup and being similar in height and the costumes, people genuinely think they're just weird androgynous twins or something. Their interviews are extremely chaotic and people think their little mind reading game where they finish each other's sentences is just part of the bit.

Imagining a point and click game focused on Gotham ambience and atmospheric music, having you navigate life as either a Gothamite or someone who recently moved there, with the option to get in contact with the bats, become one of the rogue’s goons, or even join Red Hood’s gang and work your way to the top 👁️

Each choice you make influences the story, and by then end of it you could be a rogue worse than the Joker, or the catalyst that brought the batfam back together 👀

I love how interactions with the strawhats work at this point cause they’ll meet someone who has first interacted with Luffy and their attitude will become, “wow your captain is really insane! It’s gotta be a lot of work being the well-adjusted group of individuals you all must be-“

Only to make direct eye-to-dick contact with Franky while Zoro and Sanji lick the blood off of each other like cats. Chopper and Usopp are cry/screaming while Robin and Brook poke and laugh at some nearby roadkill to past the time.

Jokes on you, they are literally all insane.
