Bruce had never met Superman face to face but he still hated the alien and thought of him as a threat and he was convinced his boys did too— except his kids are traitors. They each met Superman individually and found him really friendly and nice. At first, they were all hiding the fact that they were friends with Superman from each other, and especially from Bruce. So while Bruce was obsessed with coming up with contingency plan after contingency plan to take down Superman— even though he didn't try to kill the alien yet since Superman was still doing good for the people and Bruce couldn't just attack someone who hadn't done any wrong yet— the kids were making excuses to go meet Superman in secret and Bruce just went on oblivious to the fact that his kids are backstabbing demons.
Of course they lied to Superman too, about Batman's opinions of the Man of Steel, and the various plans he had made to kill said man. They always came up with reason after reason why Superman shouldn't or couldn't meet Batman, sometimes it's getting so ridiculous they were sure even Superman would call their buff. But sweet, ol' Kal never did.
Eventually, they found out that none of them held a grudge against Superman like Batman did, so they all teamed up together and cover for each other whenever one of them spend time with Superman, or cover the fact that Superman came to Gotham one too many time than he should. And it was the one thing that all of them could work together on without fighting or insulting each other. At one point, to keep their secret friendship with Superman, Dick even went so far to wear Batman's costume and meet Superman as Batman because Superman had wanted to meet Batman really bad and they were running dry on why Batman couldn't make time to meet the neighboring hero, and it wasn't like they could just ask Bruce to meet him considering the large collection of Kryptonite in the Cave. And they didn't exactly want their mentor to find out they had went behind his back and formed a friendship with who he swore was his mortal enemy (B's dramatic like that).
They tried to broach the subject of partnership with Superman to Bruce once in a while, of course, but every single time they were either shot down immediately and called ridiculous for even thinking about it or they had to sit through a dramatic monologue about how Superman couldn't be trusted and why they should stay away from him.
But Superman could fly and had superspeed so of course they couldn't stop him if he were to randomly come to Gotham and speak with Batman as if they were friends. Which was what exactly happened. Dick, as Batman, had warned Superman to never, ever come to Gotham without prior notice and to make sure no one notice his presence while he was in the city ("but you can totally see my kids. I'm cool with that." "Oh? Thanks, Batman. But... you know you sound younger than I thought you would." "Uh... yeah, I. Ehem. I'm very in touch with the modern lingo."), and Superman had readily agreed citing about respecting each other's boundaries and all, so the kids thought they were in the clear. But of course, there would be an emergency when even Superman wouldn't have the time to page first before coming right into Batman's turf and ask for his help.
So on a relatively quiet night, Batman was perching on a gargoyle while the newest Robin was scouting out the alleyways for any trouble. And Superman decided to touch down on the roof behind the crouching Batman and said, as if they had met before, as if they were close friends who hang out every once in a while, "Good evening, Batman. It's nice to see you again. Sorry I couldn't page first, and I hope you're not too busy because I have an emergency and I could really use your help."
Batman had gone rigid in a second and through gritted teeth, said, "Superman."
Upon hearing the name through the comm, Damian panicked and immediately sent out an emergency alert to his brothers before grappling to the building where sweet, clueless Superman with his sweet heart was facing the big bad Bat of Gotham who had been stockpiling on kryptonite for years, waiting for the day he would fight Superman. Which was the first mistake.
Because of course Superman, friendly Superman, with heart the size of the Sun, immediately recognised Robin. And of course, clueless Superman with his dumb, harmless 1000 megawatt smile was waving at Robin as if they were friends, as if they knew each other, as if Robin didn't hear Bruce grumbling about each piece written about the good deeds the Superman did every other day.
The others arrived at the scene faster than they would have at any night. Panic stricken and scared shitless of Bruce's wrath. And of course Superman immediately greeted them as soon as they got there.
Batman had merely narrowed his eyes when Superman had waved at Robin, and barked, sharper than he had before, "What the hell are you doing in my city?"
Superman looked taken aback but he was quick to recover. Seems like whatever emergency he got was more prominent than figuring out why his sort-of-not-really-friend was behaving weirdly. "Like I said, I have an emergency and I could really use your help, Batman."
Batman scoffed but with the voice modulator it sounded garbled and hard for the ears. "And what makes you think I would help you?"
Superman blinked. "What do you mean— Why wouldn't you help me?"
"First you encroach into my city without even asking for permission, talking to me as if we are— friends. And then you ask for my help as if I would just drop everything on my plate and follow you. Who do you think—"
But Batman's rant was cut off by the arrival of the other three heroes who stood at the edge of the roof, looking sheepish and guilty, breathing heavily in the quiet night. Superman looked at them, bewildered and surprised to see all the Batfamily in one place but smiling wide nonetheless because he was happy to see his little friends together. It had always been two kids or one. Never three, never all of them and certainly not with Batman in the mix.
"Oh, hey, Red Robin, Nightwing and Red Hood...?" Superman waved awkwardly by the end of his greetings, looking unsure. "Sorry," he said and actually curled in on himself a little as if he's self-conscious. "Are you guys on a big case? I didn't hear anything so I thought you weren't busy. I guess I could try to contact Wonder Woman if you have your hands full."
Superman turned to Batman but Batman was slowly turning his head towards where his kids stood at the edge of the roof. He was eerily silent and motionless making the kids take a step back nervously. Superman watched the scene with a frown, pulling his eyebrows together so tightly they almost meet in the middle. He was starting to detect that something wasn't quite right.
"Explain." Batman barked.
And Superman's face scrunched up even further. Clearly the man was deep in thought. "You know," he said slowly before none of the kids could speak. "Batman. You sound really different than the last time we met. Or any other time, actually. It's as if you're..." he trailed off, staring at Batman's feet, lost in his thoughts again.
"What." Batman shifted slightly. "We've never met before."
"Oh," Superman breathed out, his face going slack. He turned to Nightwing and the young hero immediately stood up straighter. "It was you."
Batman's head snapped towards where Dick was standing with his hands literally clasped behind his back like a soldier. "Nightwing," growled Batman. "Explain."
"Uhh..." said Dick eloquently.
"Red Robin." Bruce barked when Dick fell into silence, unable to come up with a plausible excuse, or to tell the truth.
"Err..." said Tim, swaying a little on his feet. He hadn't had enough sleep or coffee in him to live through the situation.
Batman did not sigh but Bruce Wayne did. A lot. And the kids had a knack of bringing out the dad side in him so Batman sighed through the voice modulator before he could think better. He had always suspected that his kids were up to something but he was so consumed with the thought of the alien— who was now standing in front of him with the world's greatest kicked puppy eyes in the world for some reason— he had stupidly thought whatever shenanigans his sons were up to, he would be able to deal with it later. Of course, he had never thought that his kids were dirty, backstabbing demons.
"Father," Damian finally said, but only because Jason had been signing at him to do so, telling him to use his puppy eyes since it still seemed to work on Bruce. "This is a misunderstanding."
But apparently they were dealing with the full Bat tonight, despite the involuntary sigh, because Batman did not slumped down his shoulders like he always did when Damian turn on his pleading eyes, instead he stood up straight as ever and met Damian's eye straight on. Jason was sure he could hear thunderstorm coming their way.
"A misunderstanding." He repeated flatly.
"Yes." Dick quickly said and Jason gave him a side eye. Dude, he thought, I just convinced the demon child to throw himself under the bus, why are you still talking.
"How is this a misunderstanding." His tone was so flat it didn't even come out as a question.
"I don't understand," Superman said instead, before anyone could reply Batman. He turned to the kids, his face set in disappointment so similar to Bruce's the kids actually flinched back. "You told me Batman was okay with me hanging out with you guys... And he told me— Oh. Nightwing. Right."
Batman's shoulders went impossibly more rigid. "You have been... hanging out."
"Err," said Nightwing, Red Robin and Robin simultaneously. Jason wisely kept his mouth shut. But Bruce's eyes still landed on him. Jason groaned in his head. So much for staying undetected.
"Red Hood," Bruce said slowly, very pointedly. "I thought you hate Superman."
"Yeah, well." Jason shrugged with nonchalance he didn't feel. "Turns out, he's a pretty great guy. So, kudos to him. Yay...?"
"You hated me?" Superman asked, looking dejected. Like someone kicked his dog and Jason knew he had a dog so the expression was even more daunting. And Jason wasn't having any of it, okay. Kal-El had literally given Red Hood his Ma's secret recipe for the perfect cinnamon roll. Which tasted like heaven (sorry Alfred). They had a bond, okay. No way he would let Superman see him as some cynical asshole. No way.
"Not fucking fair. It was the old man who went on and on about how you can't be trusted while making weapons to kill you. So, in my defense, it was hard to like you when all your flaws and possible weaknesses are pointed out in an alphabetical order." He threw a quick glance at the old man he just threw under the bus. Bruce looked unimpressed as ever. "But that was before I met you and found out that you're actually a chill dude. With a mother who's, like, the God of Baking."
"Superman doesn't have a mother!" Batman, honest to god, spluttered.
"Yes, he does." The young heroes said in unison.
"His world is dead. His parents are dead." Batman needlessly emphasised the word 'dead', for which he got four pairs of unimpressed eyes.
"B, have you ever heard of adoption." Dick said, emphasising the last word just to spite Bruce. Because of course Bruce did, if not, three of them wouldn't be there.
"You have Earth parents!" Batman exclaimed quite unlike himself, pointing a finger at Superman as if that's an accusation.
"You want to kill me." Kal whispered, his puppy eyes back on full effect.
Batman shifted uncomfortably. It was one thing to plan ways to kill someone, even if they're alien, it's completely different when said someone you wanted to kill was confronting you about the very thing.
"Yes." Damian reaffirmed. Ever the literal. "Father has been producing a variety of weapons to weaken you, hurt you and eventually kill you with the material called Kryptonite."
"Robin." Tim hissed.
Damian was still a growing child, emotionally and physically. But even he knew that when his any of his brothers said his name like that, it meant he had crossed a line he shouldn't have without realising he did.
"But you have nothing to worry about, Kal." Damian quickly amended. "Should father try to use these weapons under unwarranted circumstances, he will find the stock empty. We have contingency plans for father's contingencies—"
"Damian." It was Dick this time, who quickly moved and put a hand over Robin's mouth. He didn't even realise his mistake, not any of them did, actually.
"What." Batman said. Mostly confused. He couldn't even find it in himself to be furious at the moment. He was just flummoxed.
"Oh. Uh." Superman stammered. "Thank you? That's really nice of you."
An awkward silence befall the rooftop as each hero stood awkwardly where they were, barely breathing, motionless, not knowing what action to take next. Eventually Batman shifted an inch.
Oh no, thought the boys, he's going to go on another rant.
"You went behind my back," Batman started with a dark voice. "I warned you about the danger and you dismissed it. You went and made an alliance with my enemy." Here, Superman let out a protesting noise which could also he offended because, really? Enemy? Batman ignored it. "Not only that, you made plans to go against me. Instead of talking to me, you decided to oppose me. I have trained you and taught you everything you need to know. I take care of you and make sure to meet each of your needs. And this is what I get in return. Betrayal. You did not listen to me and—"
But he was cut off by a sardonic voice. "Master Wayne," said a voice from the batcomm each Bat was wearing, and Superman with his superhearing could hear it loud and clear too. "Considering your history of doing what you were told not to do, are you sure that you should be giving this speech?"
"Alfred," Batman said, sounding almost petulant.
"It is your fault, afterall, that you did not seek out Superman first before deciding who he is and what he is like. It is a good thing, if I may be so bold to say, that the kids see past the mask and befriend Superman in spite of what you have to say about him." Batman looked at Superman who was standing there awkwardly, staring at Batman. Bruce sneered, unable to help himself.
"Quit that," Alfred admonished. Bruce immediately dropped it. Superman blinked. "Now, Master Bruce. I agree that Master Dick, Master Jason, Master Tim and Master Damian should have come forward with their established friendship with Superman but considering your opinion on him, I believe it is understandable that they hesitated to do so." The aforementioned young boys nodded their head at Bruce. "That is not to say, however, that their behaviour shall go unpunish." Now they were groaning and Bruce had a little smile of triumph. "Perhaps, a few days off petrol and reflecting on our behaviours would do us some good. Including you, Master Bruce." Bruce immediately dropped his smile. Why him, too? Alfred answered right away. "I believe you realise now that you have been acting brashly the past few years. Now, we know that Superman is not as aloof and alien as we had previously thought. He is more earthbound than we believed him to be. If he were to go, he will have someone to miss him."
The kids nodded again. Superman just stared at Bruce with wide eyes and an expression Bruce couldn't put together. Whatever, Bruce had no time to care about him. He turned slightly away to whisper to the comm.
"But Alfred—"
"None of that now. I suggest you send the young lads home and we put this discussion off for the future."
In the ensuing silence, Superman softly breathed out: "Wayne."
Batman immediately went rigid, and so did the other young vigilantes. How the hell—
"Bruce... Wayne...?" Superman searched Batman's covered face as if he was trying to see if he was actually coming to a concrete conclusion.
"Oh," Alfred said, surprised and guilty. "The supersenses have slipped my mind. My apologies, Master Bruce."
For the first time in his life, Bruce didn't know what to do. Of course his immediate response should be deflection. But how could you lie to Superman about the very thing he just heard. The kids didn't seem to know what else to do either.
"Perhaps, you should ask Superman to come over for tea if his emergency is not an emergency anymore and we could talk about this in a more secure place." Alfred smoothly continued. No point in lying now. Superman had heard what he had heard and it was unlikely that he could be convinced that his superhearing was faulty.
Superman blinked a few times as if to clear his thoughts before he cleared his throat. "Yes, uhm. I was going to ask Batman to help me take a look at some data about a shipment from Gotham to Metropolis that was to happen tonight. I have reasons to believe that Luthor is involved and when Luthor is involved—"
"Kryptonite is involved." Bruce finished it for him.
Superman looked at him, seemingly a bit surprised. "Erm, yes. That. But I think it has already happened so... I'd have to follow it up tomorrow. So. Uh. I have... time?"
Batman narrowed his eyes and stayed silent.
"Bruce." Alfred said.
"C'mon B," Dick piped up. "The worst has already happened."
"I concur, Father. Kal-El now knows who you are, it is only best that the matter of discretion be properly discussed." Damian nodded sagely.
"The fuck, old man, are you still contemplating this?" Jason raised his arms in disbelief. He's so done with this family.
"Language, Master Jason."
"Uhh..." Tim swayed on his feet.
Batman sighed again. Dammit. Instead of showing his discomfort, however, he growled out a mean, "Fine." And then he grappled towards where he parked the Batmobile. Those brats could find their own way home and Superman? He could fly anyway.
Turned out, Superman could fly with four more passengers and Red Robin's bike that the kids used to get to that building. Although Bruce later gave Kal a piece of his mind about safety and the standard amount of people Superman should carry during flight without putting anyone in danger.

You grunt as you set your fellow solider down on the ground against the tire of the Humvee. You quickly take a small oxygen tank out of your bag attaching it to his face before grabbing a towel and your canteen of water wiping the ash and cynder off his face. You look back at the burning building you just pulled him out off.
"C'mon, lets get back to the safehouse" Blaze says helping you pick up the new team member and help him into the vehicle.
"Price, are you good to drive?" You ask. You look back seeing the Captain with a half assed bandage around his hand helping his own teammate stand up.
"Sparky help them I'll drive" Blaze says. You nod helping your teammate into the Humvee first before helping Ozone in.
"Get in" You told Price who nods as you climb into the Humvee after Ozone. You glance back at the burning building seeing whatever Shadows were still alive trying to get out as Blaze starts to drive off.
xxx
"You did good out there Sparky" Price says patting your back.
"I'm only as good as my mentor" You told him as you tended to the slice he had on his hand.
"I can't take all the credit, Blaze's known you longer" He said gesturing to your commander who was patching up one of your comrades. You smile shrugging as you caught Blaze's attention.
"Blaze, celebratory drinks after this right?" You asked.
"Of course, that's a stupid question" Blaze chuckles. You smile rolling your eyes as you finish bandaging up Price's hand.
"You're coming with us, no questions asked" You told him.
"Oh I shouldn't, I have my own task force I should get back to" Price said gesturing to the few Bravo Team members he has brought with him for this mission.
"Please, we never get to see eachother John, I'd really like to be able to hangout with you" You begged. John chuckles as he tries to ignore your puppy dog eyes.
"I guess I can go back tomorrow" He said making you cheer. "Ozone, Druid, Scarecrow, you guys can go ahead and head back to the command base, I'll be there tomorrow" Price said.
"You sure Cap?" Ozone asked.
"Yeah, let Ghost know he's in charge of Soap and Gaz though, I don't want 2 am calls of those two getting into petty fights in the commons" Price said making the three other soldiers chuckle as they grab their bags and left. Price smiles softly as he watches you start to take off your tactical gear. "You got out of there without a scratch" He notes.
"I was a fire fighter Price, I know how to dress for occasion and avoid injury, and we both know I'm good at my job" You smile taking your layers of masks and goggles off. When you roll up your sleeves though Price’s eyes move to the notable burn scar on your inner forearm, right over top where you used to have a tattoo. “Okay this was a rookie mistake and not my fault because the uniform Blaze gave me was too big and in the way” You say.
“Oh I believe you” Price chuckles.
“It was one time give me a break, we have the same scar anyways kid” Blaze says his sleeves already rolled up as he patched up his solider.
"I could use someone like you on my team, you know” Price says flexing his hand that you had just bandaged.
"Thanks John, that means a lot to me" You told him as you grabbed a wet wipe wiping your face from its greasepaint and cinder
"I'm serious darling, you know I only want the best of the best" He says.
"You are my best Y/n" Blaze comes up from behind you tossing an arm over your shoulder.
Blaze used to be your captain back when you were both firefighters, if anything he was the one that convinced you to join him in the military, becoming part of the SAS. From there during basic training he had introduced you to Price where you had immediately become attached to the older man.
"What are you trying to get at here?" You smiled looking up at the two older men.
"I'm asking you to join my task force Y/n" John chuckles.
"I'm giving him my blessing" Blaze adds.
"i- are you sure?" You ask taking a seat next to John.
"Sparks, you're my best soldier, and Price only wants the best of the best. As not only your commander, but you're friend, I really think you should do this" Blaze says arms crossed over his chest soft smile on his face.
"I would really mean alot to me if you joined us, be my second lieutenant" Price nudges you softly.
"Let me think about it John, and I'll get back to you," You smile softly resting your head on his shoulder.
xxx
"You better treat them right Price, because I will hunt you down if I need to" Blaze said.
"I know sir"
"Sparky, don't forget you always have a home here, and don't hesitate to let me know if the 141 is giving you a hard time because i will go up there and start handing out cans of ass-whooping" He says making you laugh. Blaze picks you up as he hugs you.
"Price, friendly reminder that I'm ranked higher than you and will kill you and your men if I need to, take care of my kid" Blaze threatens John one more time making you laugh.
"I'm just transferring team Blaze it's not like I'm getting married" You laugh teasingly shoving him away from you.
"Not yet my little Spark" Blaze says patting your head as if you're a child.
"Bye Blaze,” You say loudly at him grabbing John’s arm and dragging him away with your things. “Lets go before he embaresses me anymore" You whisper quietly to Price as you both head to his car. He laughs his hand on your lower back guiding you to his vehicle.
It took you one week to agree to join Price's team, it took less than 24 hours for the transfer to be complete due to Blaze having done all the paperwork for you ahead of time. Price took it upon himself to drive to you to pick you up and take you to the 141 command base. It was only a few hours distance but it still meant alot to you that he went through that effort.
Price set your bags in the back before opening the passenger door for you. He helps you climb into the truck before closing the door.
The ride was filled with mostly small talk, catching up on the few months the two of you had missed apart.
“What do you bring with you that you have so many bags?” Price asked glancing at the backseat.
“I live in the barracks John, I don’t have my own place” You reminded him.
“Still, I thought you were going to go out and look for a place last year?” He said.
“I thought about it but I spend so much time working it’s pretty much pointless, and you know my mother and sisters all pretty much disowned me when I decided to go into ‘a man’s career’ so there’s no point in finding a place close to home since there’s no one to go home to and I pretty much work 365 days a year” You said.
“Well that would explain how you managed to climb the ranks so fast Sparks, I’m proud of you, but I will say when I tell you to take a leave you’re taking it, I don’t care where you go but I want you to take a vacation” He orders making you laugh.
“I’ll only go if you do, seems fair” You tease making him chuckle. You head your arm rested on the center console and smile when John sets his arm next to yours, his pinky linked with yours making you smile down at them before looking out the window.
When the two of you arrived to the 141 Command Base there were a few soldiers outside waiting for Price. Your hand went to the handle to get out of the car until John stops you.
“Don’t you dare open that bloody door” Price scoffs at you making you laugh as you let go of the door handle. You smile as he gets out running around the front opening the door for you helping you out. The truck was fairly high off the ground and your civilian boots didn’t give you the height that your tactical boots did. You watched as the three soldiers that were waiting for Price were whispering to each-other as John helped grab your bags out of the back.
“Y/n these are a few of my men, Sergeants Kyle Garrick and John MacTavish better known as Gaz and Soap, and that is Lieutenant Ghost you’ll meet the rest of the team tomorrow morning along with some privates we’re training” John introduced.
“It’s great to meet you all I’m Lieutenant Y/n L/n but you can call me Sparky” You smiled kindly waving at the group of men who stared at you in shock. Before anyone could say anything Price had dragged you off to show you your room in the barracks.
“Oh they’re definitely shagging” Soap said.
“They have to be, I’ve never seen Price act like that towards anyone, not even his wife when they were still together” Gaz said before the two of them looked over at Ghost.
“I’m not agreeing with you,” Ghost says before he starts to walk off. “But I’m not disagreeing”
xxx
“Stop” You squeak as John laughs holding up a picture out of your reach. The picture was of your college graduation just a few years prior when you had gotten your PhD. John, Blaze, and a few of your friends had attended the ceremony but the picture that you chose to keep framed was of you standing standing with Price his arm around your waist while Blaze stood behind you both like a proud father.
While Blaze and Price weren’t far off in age with each-other Blaze was the protective older brother you always wanted. Price on the other hand, he made you happy.
“I’m just teasing Sparks here” Price chuckles handing you the picture, you flush as you set it down on your desk before taking out another picture setting it on your nightstand. John took a glance and the first picture was of your fire unit back home. He chuckles softly opening your bag of clothes putting them on hangers.
“You really love your teams don’t you?” He asked seeing you also had a picture of your former task force.
“Of course I do, I mean, back with the fire guys, Cap was the best father figure I ever had, and Blaze is like my older brother, they were my first family" You explained. John smiles softly to himself before closing your closet door and shoving the duffle bag under the bed with the rest.
"Well I hope you see the 141 as a family" John says as he sits down at your desk while you sat on the bed falling back.
"This bed is really comfy" You chuckle.
"I'm glad, now get some rest Sparks, I'll meet you down at the field in the morning" John patted your knee his hand lingering for a moment before he go up and left.
xxx
0500 sharp you were out of bed lacing up your boots and grabbing your PT jacket. You made it out to the field no later that 0510 waiting for the soldiers to all get there. You had gotten them all some protein bars and waters just incase along with Tylenol since Price had mentioned that they had recently come back from a mission a few days before you had gotten there and some of the soldiers were still sore.
“There she is, how’d you sleep Sparks” John asked walking up to you a few of his soldiers trailing behind him. You reached an arm up to him since you had been stretching on the ground. John pulled you up tossing an arm around your shoulders.
“Hey, I slept great my room here is so much better than the one I had back at my old base” You said.
“Probably because Price spent a week making changes to it” Gaz quietly whispered to Soap who nodded.
“So Sparky tell us about yourself, why that call sign?” Soap asked.
“I used to be a firefighter” You explained.
“Aren’t you too small to be a firefighter?” Soap teased. You inhaled sharply at the comment but decided to ignore it.
“Hey are those firefighter competitions real?” Gaz asked.
“Yeah, not every district participates on them though, but my Captain was very, exentric so in our case we never missed one” You explained causing both boys to share looks before they started laughing.
“Here’s the rest of the team Sparks” John changed the topic of conversation as he introduced you to the others.
Meeting the team wasn’t as exciting as you thought it would be. First of all, you were the only girl on the 141. Second of all, ontop of being the only girl, not everyone was open to obeying your orders, not when they had big bad Ghost to listen to. Third of all, the teasing, and it wasn’t as much teasing as it was back handed compliments and passive aggressive statements.
As the months passed with you being part of the team you thought things would progress, but it seemed as John was the only person on the team that respected you. But even he was blind to the way everyone treated you.
“You’re not as dumb as you look” Ghost says after you had offered an alternative plan to get out of the building unrecognized by the enemy soldiers.
“I like how you don’t care what people think of you, that’s a nice trait to have” Gaz says after you explained why you had met up with them at the bar looking the way you did.
“I never would’ve pegged you for for a fire fighter even less baseball team in High-school. My guess would’ve been choir or band kid, and I don’t maybe a teacher” Soap said still in disbelief that you used to be a firefighter and part of your high schools baseball team.
Ozone, Druid, and Scarecrow were really the only ones that treated you with the slightest bit of respect only because they worked with you on the field before and have followed your orders. But even they could be a bit insufferable at times.
“What’s going on between you and the Captain, are you two shagging?” Druid asked as he sat with you in the mess hall. You rolled your eyes getting up tossing your meal and heading to John’s office.
“Ya’know I think the only reason Sparky’s even with us is cause she’s sleeping with the Captain” Ozone told Scarecrow.
“You think? I mean she is pretty bad ass” Scarecrow said.
“Yeah but just look at how Cap treats her, he treats her so much more differently than the rest of us” Ozone said.
The straw that broke the camels back was on a mission. A bad one at that.
“Shit! Duck for cover!” John said grabbing you by your vest and pulling you towards him. Everyone nearby ducked as the building exploded and collapsed.
“Are you okay?” You asked him.
“Yeah you?” He asked. You nodded your head as you kept moving.
“We need to rendezvous John I don’t like it here” You told him.
“I know, but we need to catch him Sparks” John said. You nodded your head as you shot down a few soldiers that rounded the corner.
“Price we got a problem, bad one” Soap could be heard over the comms.
“What is it?” Price asked making you stop.
“We have our target, and by we I mean Gaz. He’s trapped inside the burning building with him” Soap says causing you and John to look at the building that was on fire and on the verge of collapsing.
“Sparks” John says. You sigh heavily dropping your head.
“Toad, Archer I’m gonna make a run for it, cover me” You ordered hearing both men reply with ‘Yes ma’am’
“With all due respect Sparky I don’t think you’re gonna be able to get them” Soap starts coughing clearly indicating he’s probably in the mess trying to help.
“I’ve got the target but I can’t find Gaz” Ghost says coughing over the comms.
“Both of you get out of there now, that’s an order” You tell over the comms.
“C’mon Sparks, can’t be too *cough* bad, we’ve done worse things before” Soap chuckles.
“God damnit Soap I’m your fucking Lieutenant so you follow my god damn orders, I want you out of there now, the same goes for Ghost” You yell. You stop in your tracks as you see a portion of the building start to collapse.
“Sparks we-”
“That’s an order Soap” Price cut him off.
Once you made it you spring into action. You take off your backpack grabbing your ropes attaching them to your waist, clipping your axe to your thigh. You take out a few oxygen tanks setting them up before placing your gas mask over your face and going in.
Soap is the first person you find since he was on his way out.
“Go, there’s an oxygen tank waiting for you outside” You told him. He nods as he makes his way out finding Price outside with Druid. Price immediately slaps the mask over his face turning on the tank.
“Ghost! Gaz!” You call out.
“Over ‘ere” Ghost coughs. He has the target who’s already passed out. You climb over some fallen beams getting to him.
“Can you walk?” You asked.
“Yeah” he says. You grab the target with ease tossing him over your shoulder. You grab the Axe breaking the beam you had jumped over after making sure it couldn’t cause anymore damage and help Ghost out of the building.
You set the target down on the ground grabbing an oxygen tank putting it over his face. Soap takes off his mask handing it to Ghost who slightly lifts his balaclava so he can breath.
“I found our target at the bottom of some broken stairs” Ghost says. You nod your head.
“I’m going back in” You said going into your backpack pulling out a fire hydrant.
“You go in missions with all this in your bag all the time?” Soap asked.
“I was a fire fighter for 8 years, I’ll be damned if I’m not prepared for something like this” you said.
“Y/n!” John calls out before you run back into the burning building.
“Yeah?”
“Please be safe” He begs. You simply nod your head running inside calling out for Gaz. After sweeping the downstairs you see a flight of stairs that have toppled over. You climb up the stairs using the rope for support making your way to the second floor.
“Gaz!” You yell finding him by the window passed out. You kneel at his side taking off your gas mask slipping it on over his face. Your break the window looking out. “I have him, I’m sending him down” You said causing the rest of the 141 to nod, the ones that hadn’t made it to the rendezvous point had met up there after reassuring they they had taken down the rest of the enemy soldiers.
“Sparky?” Gaz said as he slowly regained consciousness.
“I got you big guy” You said lifting him up as if he weighs nothing. You helped him out of the broken window and slowly lowered him to the ground. Right as you were about to untie the rope from yourself to go ahead and jump out since the height wasn’t that far, the floor below you breaks.
“Y/n!” You hear John scream. You scream as below you is a fire just inches away from you. You cough as you pull yourself upright looking at where th floor was once above you.
“I’m alright!” You yell out as you cough again. Looking around you you start to climb the rope. You find your axe and fire hydrant not too far away from the edge of the hole.
“Keep the rope attached to Gaz, it’s the only thing keeping her out of the fire” Price orders. They all nod as they start attending to Gaz.
“Captain, we have a problem” Soap says taking the gas mask off of Gaz, it was the same one you were wearing. He slips the oxygen mask over the soldiers face.
“That’s not our only issue” Ghost says looking up at the window we’re the glass shards still attached to the frame we’re cutting into the rope due to your movements on the other side.
“Y/n get out of there!” Price yells into the burning building. When you didn’t respond he starts to worry. “Bloody hell, give me that” Price says taking the gas mask from Soap. He goes into your backpack in hopes of finding something to help him save you but grunts when he comes up empty. Price throws all common sense out the window as he runs into the burning building.
“Sparks!” He yells. He hisses when he gets too close to a fire his arm getting slightly burned.
“John” You croak back. He looks over and last the burning flames seeing you hanging between the first and second floor, holding onto the rope and what’s left of the second floor for dear life.
“I got you Sparks don’t worry” John says as he starts making his way towards the stairs.
“No it’s too dangerous, get out” You shout back as your lungs start to fill up with smoke.
“I’m not leaving you here Sparks” John shouts back as he jumps over the hole on the stairs his foot briefly getting stuck after creating another hole. He quickly scrambled up the stairs as they collapsed behind him. Without thinking he runs over to you stopping when you shoo him away.
“The floor’s becoming fragile get out of here before we’re both stuck” You cough.
“Y/n your rope is about to snap and that floor is about as stable as Ghost’s mental health, I’m not leaving you here” Price says. He looks around the room before finding some books. “I’m going to try to hit the fire hydrant towards you, think you can grab it?” He asked. You nod your head adjusting your grip before reaching forward for the hydrant. Price slides the first book across the floor, missing the hydrant but hitting the axe. You watch as it misses you but falls into the fire below.
“Damnit John that was my good axe” You complain.
“Sorry darling, it was in the way” John says before sliding the second book. John almost cries when he hits the fire hydrant but instead of going towards you it falls to its side and starts to roll off the edge of the flooring. “Y/n!” he yells when you let go of the floor reaching for the hydrant. Your body drops causing the force of your weight to snap the rope. John runs to where you were holding onto the broken wall for support as he looks into the hole on the floor. You’re on the ground spraying the fire around you and yourself in the process due to your clothing starting to burn. John sighs in relief as he slowly jumps down the hole to the first floor.
“Are you okay?” He asked taking off the gas mask putting it on your face.
“Yeah” You say slowly getting up. You check yourself seeing that while you had a few burns in your clothes you were fine. You and John walk out of the building seeing the target was now awake along with Gaz.
“Let’s get going” Price says as you start to pack up your bag with the exception of the two oxygen tanks.
“You won’t leave” The target mumbles.
“I just saved your ass so shut the fuck up” You growl at him.
Before anything else could be said, you felt a jabbing pain right on your lower back. Making you double over in pain. Gaz and Soap both copy your movements as they both get shot as well.
“Sparks” John as he pulled you off the the side the rest of the task force doing the same.
“I got it, I got it” You said pulling out two hand guns and your goggles. The team watches as you step out from the hiding spot and start to shoot, you earn yourself another bullet which causes John to cringe as he grabs his rifle. He stands behind you taking out the last couple of guys.
You sigh heavily leaning back on him his arm going around your waist.
“Can we please get out of here before my adrenaline goes down” You sigh heavily.
It took nearly an hour to get to the RV point due to most of the task force member having injuries and trouble breathing.
When you all got there, the teasing began again and you were finally fed up.
“I refuse to believe little ole’ Sparky actually pulled you all out of a burning building”
“You’re so small, how the hell did you carry a man twice your size out of there”
“Got yourself shot twice In the process how the hell did you even do that”
“That’s enough!” Price barks at them. He looks over at you noticing your adrenaline hasn’t gone down yet, only being fueled by your annoyance and anger.
“There goes Captain again defending his girl” You hear one soldier whisper to another, low enough that Price doesn’t catch it. You finally snap as you stand up from leaning against the nearest wall walking up to the soldier that towered over you.
“So what?” You say catching him off guard.
“Come again ma’am?” The solider says suddenly nervous he’s being put on the spot.
“No no, don’t start with formalities go ahead, say what you’ve been saying for the past year I’ve been with you all. Think I don’t hear your taunts and whispers? Go ahead, say that I’m too small, or too inexperienced, I’ll never be as good a Lieutenant as Ghost, I’m not smart enough to be here, I’m not big and bad like the rest of you, I’m Captain Price’s little whore, his toy and the only reason I’m standing here right now is cause we’re fucking” You said finally confronting the entirety of the 141. The men all got silent causing you to bitterly chuckle. “Now you all want to be quiet, good to know the kind of men you all are” You say as you start to load into the trucks.
Price sighs heavily telling everyone to load up. He climbs into the back of one of the trucks seeing you tending to your wounds. He’s in shock on how your adrenaline still hasn’t worn down.
“Can I?” He asked reaching out for the tweezers. You sigh heavily handing them to him. Gaz, Soap, Ghost, Druid, and the target are all loaded in behind you. Your target has a bag over his head and you had tranquilized him.
You watch as Scarecrow and Ozone get in the driver and passenger seat the rest of the team loading up on the other trucks. Due to your years as a firefighter you also had medical experience so you slowly and quietly coach John through the proper treatment of a bullet hole so you wouldn’t take up space in the infirmary at base.
“How about your back?” John asked as he finished bandaging your shoulder to your liking.
You hold up the bullet you carved out of your vest, “Another one for the collection” You joke. John chuckles as he sits himself next to you a hand placed on your thigh. A silence with tension unknown to you and John was made. Soap was the one that decided to break it.
“We’re sorry Sparky” He said. You look over at him watching him take off the oxygen mask giving it to Gaz to put it to his face. From the corner of your eye you arch Ghost drop his balaclava slipping the oxygen mask over the targets face.
“Go on” You said your voice becoming cold.
“We didn’t realize a lot what we said was bothering you, I mean we’re so used to the task force being all men and usually we like to tease the newbies but I guess we forgot that you’re not new” Soap says.
“That’s a shit apology Soap, don’t make excuses, I should write you up for the shit you all pulled” John said his voice harsh with his soldiers.
“I think what Soap is trying to say is that we felt excluded. Obviously we’ve worked by Price’s side for years and he’s been an amazing leader and friend to us. Then suddenly when you come around it’s all about you. We all got in our heads and started believing the rumors going on about you two so we just subconsciously started trying to hurt you” Gaz says handing the oxygen mask back to Soap.
“I’m a soldier to him just like the rest of you, the only reason John and I have a closer connection is cause he’s been with me since I was in basic training. He and my former commander Blaze were the only people to show up to graduation due to my family pretty much disowning me when I chose more masculine line of career” You explain.
“I don’t think that’s what they mean Darling” John sighs heavily. You look at him confused as he leans over his face in his hands.
“You know when my wife and I split up I was a mess,” He started. “I had to take a months leave to get my shit together and darling, you had no reason to be there for me and help me but you told Blaze you’ll be damned if you let me fall into a pit of depression on my own” He said.
“Sparky we’re sorry about the rumors but there is a reason we thought you and the Captain were sleeping together” Ozone said from the front.
“Yeah he treated you differently than he treated the rest of us, but Sparky, the man looks at you and follows you around like a lovesick puppy” Gaz says.
“Okay that’s enough I think she gets it” Price says causing the other men to chuckle. You smile leaning forward taking John’s hat off running your hands through his hair.
“Fuck you, I owe Blaze 50 pounds” You giggle.
“Excuse me?” John says.
“Before I came here he had bet me 50 pounds that part of the reason you wanted me on the task force was because you have a crush on me” You smile
“He wasn’t entirely wrong, but you are amazing darling, I mean you just saved my best men from a burning building, and I guess that bloody asshole too” Price said gesturing to the target who had his head thrown back on the wall drool falling from his lips.
“Is he going to be okay?” Soap asked.
“I think I injected him with enough tranq to take out a full grown horse,” You said. “He’ll be okay, I’d say one day in the infirmary and he should be okay for interrogation” Ghost nods his head taking the oxygen mask dropping the bottom half of the bag before lifting his own mask to breath again.
“Back to the topic on hand, we’re sorry Sparky, and thank you so much for saving our arses even though we’ve been horrible to you since you got here” Soap says all eyes landing on Ghost who hadn’t spoken a word since you saved him.
But the silent nod he gave you was enough for you to smile and accept their apologies. You grab the first aid kit as you move over tending to Soap and Gaz’s wounds.
“You know there’s not much I can say about Ghost but I hope you all know I’m in charge of PT this weekend, and I am petty enough to hold grudges even though I forgive you all” You smile wickedly as you bandage up Gaz since he only got grazed by the bullet on his leg.
“Oh we doubt your training can be worse than Ghost, he’s ruthless” Soap says earning him a glare from you that made him shut up. As you finish patching him up you take your seat next to John again.
“Ghost I expect you to follow Lieutenant Spark’s training this weekend, and if I hear a single complaint from any of you you’ll be on cleaning duty for a month” Price orders. The sound of Ghost hitting his head against the wall of the vehicle was enough satisfaction for you. You rest your hand atop John’s that was on your thigh again. You side eye him with a smile on your face as you link your fingers with his.
“Darling” John whispered to you.
“Yes dear?” You smile cheekily causing John to chuckle and turn pink.
“Did any of my comments ever bother you?” He asked.
“John, you’re the only man on this earth that can tease me and won’t get their head blown off” You said.
“Tease you- you say” John smirks.

~Honestly, Steven is such a good person that he'd ENCOURAGE you to stay away from him, no matter how it hurts.
~Will block your number and try to stay away from you.
~He wants you safe, and if that means keeping you away from him, that's what he'll do.
~He'll do this for as long as he can.
~If anything, you'll have to come to him first because he's ashamed and embarrassed. He doesn't want to approach you.
~But approaching him was a bad idea. Now he needs you even more.
~After feeling like he has to take care of everybody's problems, he doesn't know how to be the one to be taken care of.
~When you make the mistake of encouraging him into relaxing and letting others help, that's when he gets too clingy.
~Because now he know how truly sweet you are. He acted weird, you still came to check on him. He's trying to run around fixing problems, you're encouraging him to try to make time for himself instead of fixing everyone else's life.
~He still tries to stay away from you, but now he finds himself being a creep and trying to find you, or stalking you on social media
~Craving your attention, craving your approval, craving your comfort.
~I highly doubt Steven would try kidnapping you or anything like that, but he would definitely think about it during one of his glowing pink breakdowns, and he might find you while he's in the middle of being buff and pink just to be near you.
~If you freak out, he'll try to calm you down.
~Which only makes it worse.
~He might end up trying to force you to see that he's okay.
~After THAT, he again goes back to trying to stay away from you.
~You're the person he wants to run to and collapse at your doorstep, but he doesn't want to put that on you, so he bottles it all up, only to release it later and somehow snap at you.
~He's at war with himself. He wants you, but he shouldn't have you, or take you, or beg you.
~He feels torn apart inside over it.

Trans Bruce Wayne? Male to female? Like she loves wearing Martha Wayne's dresses.
Anon you're speaking my language???
Bryce grew up watching her Mama get all dolled up for galas and always connected with that in a way that people say boys shouldn't. Listen Thomas and Martha were definitely the type of parents that didn't care abt gender norms and would let their kid dress however they want. Thomas probably rocked a few dresses in his time.
So Bryce tells them that she feels more like a girl than a boy? They're so accommodating. They get her whatever she needs. The surgery, the drugs, the clothes (but she prefers to wear Martha's too big dresses). Alfred switches from Young Master to Young Madam. It would hit even harder when Thomas and Martha die because those were two of the three people who truly understood her. And now they're gone.
After they die, people feel a bit more comfortable bringing up her 'changes' to her face. Alfred is right by her side but she did have some uncomfortable moments with people. Thomas and Martha definitely protected her from a lot of the media attention and stares.
She still becomes The Bat. I can see her going by Batman to protect her identity even more but also sticking with gender neutral The Bat. People can't tell if The Bat is man or woman which elevates the cryptid vibe she's going for.
The day Martha's dresses fit her perfectly is a bittersweet day. All Bryce has ever wanted is to wear her Mama's dresses properly and now that she can, her Mama isn't there anymore. She sobs into Alfred's arms that day but after that, wears Martha's dresses with pride.
By the time she adopts Dick, she passes so well that he doesn't know she's trans. And it just kind of never comes up? He calls her Mama (which she cries at) or B and that's what all the other kids end up doing. There's some LoA magic/tech involved in Talia giving birth to Damian. He shows up at the manor and upon finding out that Batman is actually a woman, he's impressed.
They find out when the batfam decide to dye their suits for Gotham's Pride Parade and Bryce's suit is the trans flag and her cape is the demiromantic flag. There was a lot of screaming that day.
Jason tries but he just can't fight his Mama, no matter how angry he is at her for not killing the Joker. He spends some time away from the manor but after a lot of talks, screaming, tears and hugs, he comes around. He is also very protective over his Mama, I won't accept otherwise (they all are tbh)
Also let her be tiny?? 5'2, buff Bryce Wayne picking her 6ft+ sons up easily. A tabloid got a picture of Bryce holding Dick up after an attack at the museum by The Riddler. She's in a pretty floral dress, with pink pumps and soot all over her face and her muscled arms covered in blood and scratches. The internet went insane.
Bryce Wayne: *exists*
Gothamites: mommy- sorry mommy- i mean mommy-
Also rip the batkids cause Bryce mothers all their friends too. Shit hits the fan when Jason nearly strangles Garfield cause Bryce gave him a forehead kiss to check if he had a fever.

Grailfinders Viewers' Choice: Beast IV L
Tumblr media
if anything's getting my icon blurred out, it's this one. anyways!
it's that time of the month once again, and this time I feel like an absolute beast. well, to be more accurate, y'all felt like getting an absolute beast. a beast (fgo definition) that summons beasts (D&D definition). I'm sure this won't be confusing at all.
as usual I highly doubt this build is even remotely balanced for actual PvE play, but beasts are supposed to be world ending threats, so that shouldn't be a surprise.
the build itself will be under the cut, because hoo boy there's a lot to go over.
Tumblr media
first up, beast IV can show up in her standard Koyanskaya form, which is the one primarily used when outside her lair. this is effectively a suped-up version of Koyanskaya of Dark, with access to unlimited weaponry and NFF-brand grenades, all of which work like standard "weapons of <x> slaying" do in D&D- they deal extra damage to humanoids, and can knock humanoids prone.
the big addition here aside from standard high-level-boss resistances is her Add to the Collection ability, where once per day she can try to forcibly plane shift a non-humanoid creature into a demiplane of her creation, basically putting them in suspended animation. this will be important for later.
Tumblr media
form two is effectively Koyanskaya's big shadowy fox form. I didn't make any hard and fast rules about how these forms connect to one another, but I would probably say her masked form can turn into this combat form once a day, probably for a couple minutes at a time.
the gimmick for this fight is her Seasonal Cycle, which both reduces the number of legendary actions she gets to actually attack people each round, but also gives her buffs. I tried to keep this close to her lostbelt-based buffs in her final fight, but I also changed the names to be less FGO-centric if you want to use this build in a game. there's not a ton to say about this one that isn't regurgitating the seasonal cycle, it's just Masked Form with a bigger focus on kicking humanoid ass.
Tumblr media
The big nipply form shown in the build picture has a lot of text, but I'll do what I can to break it down. This is Beast IV's final form, and it's the one that sets up the Tunguska Sanctuary in the first place, so there's a lot going on. Once again her humanoid-slaying effect grows larger, but she can only take this form in her lair, plus her speed is cranked wayyy down at this point. I just. cannot imagine that thing moving any faster than a crawl. if you need something done fast, that's what your lackeys are for.
speaking of lackeys, let's Reveal the Collection. this is a ten-minute ritual, which upon completion can summon copies of creatures that were stored by the Masked Form. The higher the CR of the creatures being made, the less you can make at a time, and the shorter your range is. there's also a lesser version of this you can do as a legendary action, and it's restricted to one creature at a time, of up to CR 10.
but of course, you need a place to put all those creatures! that's why she's got Regional Effects too! it's a whole lot of text, but it basically boils down to making a life zone and a death zone around her lair. half of your collection will tend towards the life zone, and half towards the other. in the life zone, the area is choked by plants, slowing down all humanoids in the area, and also healing effects targeting non-humanoids are more powerful. the death zone has extreme heat, and humanoids have disadvantage on saves against it. also, all summoned creatures in this region have double their normal perception distance when it comes to perceiving humanoids.
-------------
So overall, this build isn't a world-ending threat like Tiamat, or an orbital laser like Goetia, but she's not supposed to be a full-grown beast yet, so I'd cut her some slack. plus, if your party includes non-humanoid players you can make a dozen clones of them to fight the party which sounds like a really fun time. that being said, I do pity any DM who as to keep track of her seasonal buffs in a fight.

Usopp using Zoro as 'live ammo' via a human sized slingshot he made specifically for this purpose and someone (Nami? Nami) being like "christ alive there's something wrong with them"
maybe Zoro likens it to being tossed by the "director" (Commodore Orlumbus). He thinks Usopp's better at shooting/throwing people though. 10/10 would be used as live ammo again. Somewhere in the background, Orlumbus' voice is heard saying "this attack wasn't meant to safely throw people, yknow" and Zoro going "doesn't matter. just throw"
after hearing about that, I'd like to think Usopp either A) gets jealous and pouts about it because Zoro's his boyfriend and shouldn't Usopp get sole Zoro-shooting-rights???, B) insists on shooting Zoro more often with a plethora of excuses about the why but the real reason being he wants to get so good at it that Zoro completely forgets that "director" guy, or C) some mix of both. multitasking king
haha and wouldn't it be funny, meeting part of the Strawhat Fleet later on, and Orlumbus being hella confused because God Usopp just. has some kind of beef with him despite them only interacting like once before they all left Dressrosa
on the flip side of that, maybe Usopp offhandedly mentions being carried around by Hack, towards the end of the conflict in Dressrosa. He's a little bit dramatic about it, because he's always dramatic, but most of what he's saying boils down to "Hack was a nice guy: he carried me around while I was hurt, made sure I was okay, and didn't seem to hate the stories I made up to pass the time. he was also very strong and probably madly in love with me" (he wasn't)
Zoro was different with jealousy than Usopp. Where Usopp would glare from a distance and generally give off "he's mine he's mine he's mine" vibes to Orlumbus, he wouldn't say any of it aloud and generally try his best to stay civil. In part, this is due to Orlumbus being huge and buff and scary, but it's also because when Usopp is jealous of someone, especially in matters of love, he's more focused on doing whatever he can to make himself better in some way. Thus the insistence on more live-ammo-Zoro in battle, so Usopp can improve his Zoro shooting skills and Zoro "won't want to go back". There's also his issues with his self-worth and respect of Zoro's freedom to choose whatever romantic partner he wants, even if that isn't Usopp anymore. His brief bouts of jealousy are usually followed up with cuddling with Zoro after because it always leads to Usopp feeling terrible and in tears wondering if Zoro was gonna break up with him. Zoro will call him an idiot and kiss his forehead and he'll be fine after a while.
Zoro was not like that. Usopp said he liked Zoro. That's the equivalent of signing a contract to spend the rest of their lives together. Anyone who tries to change Usopp's mind is the fucking enemy and he's got three blades with Hack's name on them. Out of respect for Robin, he wouldn't kill the guy, but he'd put the fear of hell in him. It would take Usopp telling the real story- about Hack mostly just being indifferent and far more focused on the crisis than whatever Usopp had been nervously rambling about during their time running around- to get him to promise not to fight Hack on sight. Zoro would definitely still size him up if they see him again though.
...or, at least that's what Usopp expected to happen, based on all those romance books Robin showed him. He was looking forward to it a little. Just a little though.
In reality, Zoro quietly listened to Usopp talk about his adventures with Robin and the tontatta and curled around Usopp like big teddy bear. He squeezed Usopp a little tighter, bring him further into his lap, when Usopp talked about how he got certain injuries or eating the tatababasco, but otherwise he seemed rather content. Zoro didn't bat an eye at Usopp's exaggerated stories with Hack except to say that Hack had good taste in men. Usopp got extremely flustered after that and completely loses his train of thought and where he was in his storytelling. He attempted to steal the rest of the booze in Zoro's mug as revenge. Zoro lets him and then repeats the last thing Usopp said to remind him where he stopped in his retelling of his adventure.

-wednesday is a bit jealous of yoko since she was the first one enid ran to when they fought, but little does she know that night enid could only talk about her. yoko gets the vibe they are an old married couple arguing over something stupid
-when wednesday was still denying her feelings, thing would remind her of how easily enid can slit someones throat out and how shes JUST her type and it wouldnt be a burden to keep her around..
-sometimes theyll have little sleepovers in their dorm room. right down the center of the line that separates both sides theyll make a pillow fort.
-the line itself gets more blurry over time, as enid likes to reorganize and decorate her room often. wednesday doesnt mind when something colorful crosses the barrier
-during those sleepovers theyll do eachothers nails, and enid will decorate wednesdays with skull stickers.
-wednesday is not the romantic type but she IS very reassuring about liking enid once she realizes her feelings.
-enid giggles alot when they kiss. wednesday just makes a short humming sound to let her know she feels the same, without having a vocal laugh.
-enid bites wednesday as a form of showing affection, especially ever since her fangs came in
-wednesday worries a lot about enid the day after a full moon, since the first times she wolfed out she got migraines. wednesday will take care of her, and make her the most comfortable possible, giving her the favorite unicorn plushie to hold, and sit her head on enids shoulder while they watched a movie to distract them from a long day.
-they have a private kind of love language. like holding hands under tables and passing notes to eachother. not a lot of pda. wednesday appreciates that enid lets her take her time and respects her boundaries. enid is thrilled that she has those secret little moments only they know about.
-enid loves being the taller one because of how easy it is to give wednesday forehead kisses
-one day before class, when they were getting ready, enid asked if she could braid wednesdays hair, and ever since that has become a part of their routine

no therion's story doesn't only make sense if you do a solo run. i've seen this take multiple times and every time i'm completely baffled because No It Doesn't. not true. false. incorrect.
like okay this does require you to understand that the literal words a character says are not necessarily the truth, but therion's story and gameplay both make way more sense if you accept the fact that therion is not a loner and shouldn't be one.
let's start with the beginning! the FIRST scene you see of therion is him meeting darius at age 11, who he will spend the entire rest of his childhood with and implied some time into adulthood, so he has spent probably the majority of his career as a thief working in a team, which is also borne out in his gameplay, because thief is a support class.
don't argue with me i'm right. while you can run therion as a DPS, investing in attack over speed and evasion means that therion's frailty gets in the way, and he struggles to do damage on par with olberic/h'aanit/alfyn, and cyrus/tressa do way more elemental damage than he does. however, if you instead spec him for support, share SP becomes the most insane skill in the game. a speedy therion can debuff a boss into oblivion before they have a chance to do much before stealing enough SP to let olberic fire off three divine skills without needing a refill. dancer therion is worth doubling up on weapons because his speed and evasion means that he can buff allies quickly and a dancer/thief is the only combo that will regularly dodge attacks before the late game.
therion's skills primarily revolve around giving allies openings to more easily take down enemies(i mean for balancing reasons but play with me in this space) because that's the job he had when he worked with darius. he's not an especially skilled combatant on his own because he didn't need to be, his job was to pin foes down so darius could spam sweep.
additionally, while i hate this decision badly, therion's percentages are fixed so that every chapter past the first has a necessary skill check that's very difficult to pass without either a glean info character and a KO NPC character(why did they do base 3% brigand leader's garb to him.), again because he's used to having someone else deal with gathering information and doing the majority of the fighting for him. he's not terrible at getting info out of people, but he's also not great at it, for example he just goes along with barham's scheme instead of finding a way to threaten or coerce him into revealing the info right away. like basically all of his plans would've failed if the guards or his informant had just said No and refused to help him as opposed to cyrus who responds to being told no by finding out that his informant's daughter died in order to manipulate them into coughing up the info he wants. therion might be capable of manipulation beyond basic impersonation or pretending to be friendly, but if he is we don't see it.
therion in general is also a very passive character if you look past his words at his actual actions. he resists for about two seconds when heathcote cuffs him before following their orders for the rest of the story even when he's uncuffed in chapter 2 when he's still not a huge fan of the ravuses. he again goes along with barham even when he's almost certain he's being fucked with. he is almost always either acting on someone else's orders or defending himself from someone else's attacks. the reason for this is best illustrated in one of the cutscenes with darius where it's made pretty clear that for the majority of their partnership, he kept therion dependent on him to make decisions, and because that started when he was relatively young it's likely that therion just doesn't have that strong of an instinct for advocating for himself or firmly saying no to people twisting his arm(he asks darius a question once and gets thrown off a cliff for it, implying he was even more obedient before that). he can say no once, but we have no idea if he would've given in to the bandits at the beginning if they hadn't responded to his initial no by attacking him, so it does actually make perfect sense that any of the stronger-willed travelers could just respond to that no by saying they weren't asking and dragging him along. he's prickly and verbally hostile, but that mostly seems like a defense mechanism because otherwise he's easier to coerce than ophilia. i get that this seems like i'm trying to infantilize therion but that's really not my intention, in fact that takes the Therion Doesn't Kill People point i made awhile back reflect less on his being a secretly good person and more being too passive to feel the need to finish the job and generally makes him more morally ambiguous because it's less clear what decisions he makes due to personal growth and what he makes due to inertia. is he a good person, or is he just too tired to be a bad person? ideally the story would actually go somewhere with that theme but it wouldn't be octopath if they didn't periodically drop the most insane writing that rewires my brain before either doing nothing with it or actively ruining it.
also, therion's story gets way stronger if he's in a party, because while cordelia and heathcote are (TREATED AS) the reason he learns to trust again, in-story they spend, what, one hour together maybe? cordy and heathcote are his bosses and the most either of them do cordelia using her empath powers to deduce that therion looks sad or heathcote telling him that he's the real asshole for being mad that he's being blackmailed. they're also canonically lying to him when they say they don't know what the dragonstones are, so even at the end of the story they don't really trust him(i wont spend too much time complaining abt them i just don't think you get to be a savior character if the town you own has a ghetto). on the other hand, if you do his story with a party the travel banters all make some attempt at showing therion slowly coming to trust and rely on them despite initial friction, and in gameplay therion acting as a support expresses the theme of him realizing that he actually can work in a team where his allies have his back and there are people he can trust. in that instance his final conversation with darius includes him talking about his companions, because to be here at all they have accepted him after seeing him at his worst and helped him despite it, and who he's been able to help in turn. if you're doing a therion solo run he's just talking about how his boss who's blackmailing him for free labor said he looked sad one time, which is a pretty weak climax if we're going to be real. i stand by saying that octopath works best when it's episodic and stories shouldn't rely on specific characters to work, but genuinely i do think therion's story's themes being expressed strongly in gameplay and the nature of rpgs with a party system are quite cool and my favorite thing about his story.
so it specifically annoys me when people are like "oh well he limply says no before letting you continue to drag him around" like it's a plot hole and not a character trait especially when therion's being a prickly asshole who is also a complete doormat is i think very interesting characterization!!!! ophilia commenting on the fact that therion has no instinct for revenge and therion says "yeah what's the point" makes me so normal.
ALSO why's therion the poster boy for "hey this character's story doesn't make sense with their gameplay" when primrose exists???? why it so contradictory a character whose story is about them learning to trust in their companions again to be in a party while a character who starts off by telling you to fuck off and leave her alone because this is her fight before heel-turning for no reason and then just continuing to be your ally with no justification is totally fine. also why is primrose a support class???? she's not a dancer she's an assassin she doesn't support anyone in her story and her character is about her singleminded and specific familial revenge. she's also a very strongwilled character so it makes no sense that she wouldn't just say no and mean it. i know the answer is that octopath doesn't like women so primrose just got slapped into a princess jasmine costume and femme fatale character before any of her story was actually developed but like oh my goddddddd. primrose girl im so sorry they put you in the nightmare hell dimension.

shutters would u mind giving out some tips for the current annihilation?? i can barely beat it past 321 :')))
Tumblr media
Unfortunately without knowing your lineup or how you plan on solving the stage I can't give you anything more than generic tips, but pay close attention to the tiles I outlined.
Green Circle - Put a vanguard here. The only thing that spawns out of this gate are Caster Prisoners, who don't attack at all unless freed by other enemy types. Put a vanguard, any vanguard, they'll generate DP on this map while blocking the caster who won't fight back (unless you fuck up somewhere)
Red X - If you have very strong units that can take punishment or/ and dish out a ton of consistent or AOE damage (Blaze/Thorns/Eyjafjalla/ Mudrock, the usual), ignore the rest of the map and lights and just hold here. If you are strong enough to kill all Recidivists (the big buff looking dudes who DON'T have shields) before they can get enough hits in to free themselves (and thus free other prisoners), you can legit just AFK hold here. Jesselton won't move into this area until nearly all enemies have been defeated, and as Jesselton's a wimp of a boss then the entire endgame shouldn't even be much of a problem. Let the enemies kill all the lights, you don't care. You'll kill them all before any of them can activate their skills anyway.
Yellow Squares - If you want to defend the lights and have a strong Ifrit, hold here. Note that ifrit is necessary, you can line up all the enemies to form one long tile formation she can easily burn to a crisp, and Corroserum simply doesn't do enough damage with his skills to replace Ifrit. If you have both though, you can put Corroserum on the other end facing down for a double Blast Caster lane. Remember to use the lights to stun the enemies! Don't let recidivists free themselves or your vanguard is going to die.
Blue Triangle - If you have Fartooth, putting her on this tile lets you use her S3 to kill Jesselton while he waits for a very long time. Note that when Jesselton swaps from his first phase to his second he frees all enemies on the field, so don't kill him when all the Caster Prisoners are still up or your defense will be slaughtered in seconds.

NSFW Garrance Headcanons!
*if you're under like 15 you probably shouldn't be here- but I mean I won't stop you from reading it*
.
.
.
Garroth is a soft dom and I stand by that
Garroth lives for praising Laurance
Garroth can't decide on a single name to call Laurance so he just says whatever comes to mind, "Darling", "Sweet boy", "My love", "Angel", "Pretty baby", "Honey" and "Rose" are the main ones(do not bring up how they're almost the exact same as the normal petnames)
Laurance loves it when Garroth is rough with him, grabbing him roughly by the waist, pulling his hair, gripping his neck. But Garroth doesn't always do it, it's only when he need to blow off steam he does it
Garroth wants to be gentle and loving with Laurance, but he also just wants to completely wreck him too
Laurance cries when he feels really good, so you can bet that whenever he and Garroth do it he's straight up sobbing
At first Garroth got really worried about him, but he stopped when Laurance explained he was just crying because of the intense pleasure
Laurance likes to fight for dominance, but it doesn't mean he wants to be dominant
Laurance talks back occasionally, Garroth just smiles though and says "Just watch your mouth for me, okay Angel?" In such a sweet tone that Laurance just melts
Garroth likes to overstimulate Laurance until he's crying and begging for it to stop
" Please Darling, just a little longer for me.."
" Aw, you look so pretty when you cry My Love~"
God I'd love to hear Garroth say this-
Laurance loves how Garroth can fuck him into a drooling, crying mess and still look at him and tell him how gorgeous he looks with the sweetest eyes
It's rare but Laurance still loves it whenever Garroth calls him his Precious little slut
Laurance is super vocal during sex, and after keeping the village up one night Garroth decided that maybe they should do it somewhere else
There are days though where Garroth gets tired and just wants someone else to take control and Laurence always takes good care of him
Garroth is so sweet with aftercare, he'll clean up Laurance with a warm towel and pepper kisses on the skin where bruises begin to blossom. And he'll also just hold Laurance close to his body, whispering quiet confessions and sweet nothings into Laurance's ear until he falls asleep
Can you tell how desperate I am for someone to be like Garroth?
Sometimes Garroth will indulge Laurance and blindfold him with a scarf or tie his arm behind his back and tease him with kisses and sucks at Laurance's sensitive areas
Garroth does really enjoy watching Laurance fall apart for the gentle kisses and sucks^
Laurance likes biting into Garroth's skin with his sharp ass teeth because of the breathy groans Garroth makes
If there's one thing Laurance enjoys riding other than Garroth's..y'know..it's Garroth's thighs
Garroth loves it when Laurance begs, there's just something about looking down at the brunette on his knees begging tearily for Garroth to fuck him senseless
Garroth will and has fucked Laurance until the Shadow knight's thighs are shaking, is babbling nonsense and can barely let out a moan, a look of pure bliss all over his face
God is it wrong for me to think that Laurance would love for Garroth to just spit in his mouth and command for him to swallow it?
Why is that so hot to me-
Garroth kisses Laurance each time he's super close to coming, it's comforting to him in a sense
Laurance lowkey wants Garroth to degrade him but he doesn't bring it up
Laurance also just really wants Garroth to slap him, but Garroth would never🥲
Laurance really, really likes the idea of being bred..even though he is very much male and cannot get pregnant
Laurance has a size kink and can't get over how hot he thinks their height difference and how Garroth's buff body easily overpowers his own skinny one
Bulge kink.
Garroth is a very possessive man, he definitely growls "You're mine, and only mine." Into Laurance's ear whenever he gets rough
Garroth also marks Laurance up a lot, making sure there's hickeys all over Laurance's neck and shoulders
Laurance is a scratcher so Garroth has scratch marks all over his back from Larance
Garroth will also edge Laurance as well on some days as a punishment for when Laurance misbehaves
By the end of it Laurance is a crying mess, babbling out apologies and begging to cum
Dante and have walked in on them before, he blushed furiously before running off to try and forget about what he saw

Okay, finished up my run of Railway with that bleed team I was talking about and... boy do I have some thoughts on it. Overall the experience was... a good one, more or less. I think I learned a lot about Limbus Company in terms of gameplay and mechanics, and I have a deeper appreciation for how this game is played, how certain boss mechanics, and how to play around certain team compositions. This bleed team made for probably some of the most big brain moments I've had while playing this game and was also some of the most torturous fights I've ever had to suffer. Personally, I don't recommend centering your team on bleed as the main source of damage. This only really works in about two or three fights and it is definitely not the optimal way of winning. That said, it was funny to watch the umbrellas and flowers accidentally kill themselves and make my job a lot easier.
But first, before I go on, a synopsis.
For my followers that aren't familiar with Limbus Company, just know that Refraction Railway is the equivalent to Arknight's Contingency Contract, a series of difficult fights with varying amounts of addition points of difficult that you can opt into for higher rewards. This is endgame content that tends to play around or even circumvent meta units and team compositions, really wanting the player to think ahead before making a move. Unless you're a Charge Team. This is the pinnacle of high-tier play and a true test of your skills as a player.
"But Allen, you didn't go through all 5 Cycles an-"
First of all, fuck you. This team already guaranteed most of my fights would be endurance runs as I stacked on +40 bleed potency on bosses with only 3 coins at most, assuming the boss would even allow for me to stack on that much bleed due to some of them outright rejecting bleed after a certain level of potency and count. I was already at +150 turns and I was fucking tired, my man (and I assure you, you are probably not just a guy, but that guy if you're getting up my ass about this). I've got a little more than a week to put together a good charge/rupture team with Warp and Seven units, and most of those units just need Uptie 4, so piss off otherwise. I'll play this mode for realies later before Season 2 ends.
Anywho, with that out the way, here's the big summary of what happened before I go through the deep break down.
Bleed is a slow killer that needs time and bleed buffs to stack potency and count enough to matter.
Steam Machine was a hellish fight that shouldn't exist.
Centipede was surprisingly easy with this team.
There was no real "nuke button" on this team, making fights drag.
Sinking was a nice side ailment to focus on when I couldn't stack bleed.
This being a pierce team was both a surprise and made it easy to choose the pierce buff.
This team made Rabbit Heathcliff useless almost by design outside of his support passive.
Fucking Yi Sang was my top damage dealer in this team, with fucking Hook Hong Lu taking second place by degrees.
And with that all out of the way, let's talk about this run in full.
A Slow Killer
For those not familiar with Limbus Company still reading on here's a quick summary of how Bleed as a status ailment works. Bleed (and most status ailments) have two numbers to them: potency and count. For Bleed, potency is the amount of damage that unit will take every time it either clashes or attacks, count is the number of times that unit will need to attack or clash before they stop taking Bleed damage. For a quick example, a unit with 5 Bleed potency and 5 Bleed count will take 25 HP damage after five attacks or clashes. There's some more miscellaneous info as well, but those are the basics for now.
With that said, Bleed overall isn't something you should really build around in Railway. This is a mode that wants you to move and move fast through boss fights. I'd say the game expect you're first two cycles to take around 5-8 turns with all repeating boss fights afterwards taking about half the time. And if I wasn't running a team that relies on trading as many hits as possible to tick off 20 HP at a time on average that'd be very doable. However, even when I can stack as high as 40 Bleed Potency at a Bleed count of 20 that means nothing when I can only clash with the enemy two or three times per round, and despite having two tanks and a healer on the active team I couldn't afford to take too much damage.
Not to mention that Bleed, by it's very nature, turns most fights into wars of attrition. Steam Machine was insufferable due to it only being able to take so much Bleed potency and count before it capped out, and I frankly killed Talisman Doll/STNOWC too fast for the Bleed to really be a huge factor after the third go at it.
That said, Bleed did have a handful of good moments. For things like T Corp and the Fox it's great since I can comfortable build it up and on rare occasions the Umbrellas killed themselves on the second turn if they were still around, and the roses killing themselves was almost hilarious. These were ultimately small moments, but the small moments that this team shined, it really shined.
Faust
The damage stats might say otherwise, but Faust was definitely the MVP of this run. Her ability to reliably fuel her own Fluid Sac had been keeping my team above half health for the most part and kept me deathless until Sign of Roses. Even if Ryoshu (for some godforsaken reason) "tank" as much as Faust, Faust made sure the team stayed strong and health with her sanity and health heals on her EGOs. Speaking of EGO use...
Wow, that's A LOT of Lust and Gluttony
It wasn't until the start of Cycle 2 I realized I had enough Gluttony, Lust, and Pride to just spam the shit out of Don's base EGO and apply even more bleed with ease, along with letting Don essential be self sufficient thanks to her EGO's passive healing her. I'm not kidding. I was so preoccupied spamming Fluid Sac so no one died in Cycle 1 that I barely realized how Gluttony-heavy my team was in terms of Skill 1s and 2s. It was until Cycle 3 that I took advantage and started spamming Faust and Don's base EGOs left and right.
Apparently, this is a Pierce Team Too
Yeah... I realized once I hit the second cycle this team was really pierce-heavy. I think the only non-pierce damage-dealers I've got is Meursault and Yi Sang on his skill 2. Now, this mostly meant Yi Sang could do consist damage that the other units couldn't, but it also made it easier to figure out what second buff I'd use for this team after Cycle 2. Along with putting Rabbit Heathcliff on the sidelines for his passive all the more obvious to me.
Sanic Speed
This team has the potential to be insanely fast. A good majority of them can give themselves haste via passives or skills, and their max speed potential can get crazy high. Not to mention half of them get bonus coin power for being fast or having haste on them. Seriously, the max speed buff for enemies almost meant nothing once I use Crow's Eye View for cheap and let Don and Hong Lu rip the enemies in half. Though with that said, there wasn't really a lot of big damage numbers for this team since, well...
There was No Nuke Button
So on most teams in Limbus Company you'll usually have a few folks that have a skill that might as well say: do big damage now. For a charge team this is Rip Space, Quick Suppression, and D.D.E.D.R., skills that do insanely high damage that you can plan around and likely end the fight that turn or the next. The Bleed team didn't really have that. Most Skill 3s were there to apply large amounts of Bleed count and not cash in on damage, save for Hook Hong Lu on his Skill 3 and Molar Ishmael on her Skill 3... and Molar Ish is a Sinking unit.
"But Allen, why not just use Rabbit Heathcliff and his Skill 3?"
Yeeeeeeaaaah... about that...
Rabbit Heathcliff is Basically Useless
Due to his ammo gimmick clashing with the nature of Bleed turning fights into endurance runs, Heathcliff can't really handle the drawn out nature of how most of my fights went aside from spamming his evade skill. And these were fights that needed every tick of damage I could get. Not only that, but his skill 2 increased Bleed potency, which I needed as well. The man's gun ran dry after about 6 turns and I couldn't have him in fights any longer. His pierce damage is handy thanks to the pierce buff I got, but he only made Steam Machine a little easier at best. His passive on the other hand was extremely useful on this team, and he found a nice spot on the bench thanks to it.
I should had Made a Sinking Team Instead
Tumblr media
If there was anything that told me going Bleed was a sub-optimal move then let it be that despite everything, despite making an entire team around bleed, despite having the intention of having Yi Sang be on the team for Crow's Eye View and little else, despite the fact that I didn't even dip into Sinking buffs, that Spicebush Yi Sang is my top damage dealer, with the two-star Hong Lu only behind by less than a hundred points in damage. If that isn't showing Project Moon's Hong Lu bias I don't know what is. I swear, I thought Yi Sang was just doing okay damage, but it turns out Okay Damage is enough to top the damn charts in this case. I didn't even Uptie 4 that man yet, he's just that stupid strong, almost as brainless as Liu Ish.
Tumblr media
If I had to build another team knowing what I know now I would had probably done something like this. Yi Sang and Ish as the main damage dealings with Sinclair and Outis as addition Sinking application. Faust, Meursault, and Hong Lu would be there for adding bleed on the side, with Heathcliff, Ryoshu, Gregor, and Rodion being there for the support passives. Don is mostly there to be a self-sufficient gal like I had her before.
And... that's about everything I got from this run of Railway. I'll probably do another run next week before the season ends with a real team, but this was certainly a learning experience in many way.
Also I wanna' give a special thanks to @movedraptor5913 for giving some addition help and info with the original team I posted. I swapped to Mariachis Sinclair since I didn't realize his passive also worked on Abnos too, and while I probably should had used N Faust to just have a nuke button with her Skill 3 I just didn't have the resources to level her at the time. And Uptie 4-ing Rhino Meursault was probably the smartest advice I took for this game in some time, he really did come in clutch despite everything. Huge thanks to you for that!
Anyway, I'll see you folks later.

Hear me out
Muddlebud pollen sex
OP YOUR MIND SO FUCKING F A T. How you walk with a brain so fat? Let's GO!
Link snuck his way into the clan. He thought maybe they'd flag him down for his blonde hair, but nope! Fuckers just let him walk right in. He meant to just come in, steal some shit, get out. But basically he got himself into a mission with a blademaster, and a footsoldier. The blademaster nodded towards Link.
"You brought the bag, yes?"
He nodded.
"Good. Last time we forgot the bag, Sooga kinda got mad at us. Scared me."
The footsoldier nudged him with his elbow, definitely smirking under that mask.
"You gotta admit, he WAS kinda hot though~"
The blademaster folded his arms over his chest, huffing.
"But not hotter than me. Right?"
The footsoldier put his hand on his elbow, in almost pity, before shaking his head.
"No. It's SOOGA. Have you seen his ASS? I love you, banana muffin, but you're not hotter than Sooga, you need to come to terms with this."
The blademaster looked at Link, and he was scared he was somehow caught, before he asked his question.
"Newbie. Who's hotter, me our Sooga?"
Link sat there, awkwardly, before just giving him a thumbs up. The footsoldier scoffed, smacking the other's bicep.
"Don't put the new guy on blast! Either answer is WRONG!"
Link was expecting them to fight, and he wasn't gonna cap he was kinda uncomfortable, when the blademaster decided to de-escalate the situation himself with a huff.
"You know what. Let's just get this mission done, so we can just go home."
They kept walking on in silence, very awkward silence. The footsoldier stuck by his side, and kept his voice low so the bigger one couldn't hear.
"Sorry about him- you jerk off to a picture of Sooga ONCE and he suddenly thinks you're cheating on him. We haven't fucked in like, two months, and I think it's stressing us out."
Link couldn't help but feel bad. He had a soft spot for couples, he couldn't help it. Eventually, they made it to a location. You know those big, weird, red roots you often find in the depths? Well there was one HERE. And surrounding it, was a field of muddlebuds. The blademaster nodded towards Link.
"We need to collect these. Be super careful, if the pollen gets inhaled, you'll freak out, and then there's no telling what could happen."
Link obeyed, helping them pluck the buds and stuffing them in the bag. Again, there was silence, before the footsoldier sighed.
"You still mad at me?"
"Yes. Because I get to be mad. I'M buff! I'm big! In ALL the right places too!"
"Can you not, in front of the new guy?"
"Oh look who's talking!"
Oh god, this was the worst case of him third wheeling he'd ever experienced. They were still arguing, looking as if they'd straight up fight. So, Link decided to help. Well, do SOMETHING. He followed his impulsive thoughts, and he 'accidentally' dropped the bag by their feet. A giant, glittery puff of purple pollen exploded right under them, with all three of them trying desperately to keep themselves from breathing it in. Unfortunately, it was too late.
Link's mind got foggy. He felt...really confused. So confused, he grabbed onto the nearest thing he could. Something...soft. Warm. Big. He felt hands at his hips, almost protectively.
"H-hey. You okay? Breathing in all of that isn't good for you."
Link didn't know why he did what he did. But his hands found their way to his chest, giving them a squeeze. God, so soft, so FULL. The blademaster chuckled, pulling him till their fronts were touching.
"This...is a weird time for you to suddenly touch me again. Not that I mind."
"You sure?"
There was the footsoldier, coming up from behind him. He felt something rubbing up against his back, and he sort of had an inkling of what it was.
"Don't...mind at all."
Don't ask Link how it happened. But suddenly, he was sandwiched between them, legs lifted up off the ground. There was a tear at his uniform, letting his cock and his ass be exposed to the elements. Link shouldn't be doing this, shouldn't let the blademaster push his mask aside to shove his tongue into his mouth.
"God, you feel tighter than usual. I'm...kinda wonderin' if imma fit."
Link felt a tip pressed against his hole, and he should stop them, but his body didn't let him. He felt it pushed inside of him. That wasn't the hard part. The hard part, was his friend.
"I know...imma fit. You're SO good at taking me."
The other's dick was WAY bigger. As in, Link had a death grip on the other's shoulders as it joined the other, stretching his poor little asshole. It hurt, but he didn't care. He just cared about these two different cocks currently fucking him. He cared about the big, fat tongue currently fucking his mouth. Cared about the teeth nibbling at his neck.
"Fuck, I already wanna cum, I already wanna cum so bad..."
"You missed me that much? You never cum this fast."
"I did. I missed this ass, I missed how tight you are and how you squeeze around me. Lemme cum, I need it."
Oh god, he was gonna cum in his ass. This footsoldier was gonna cum in his ass, and this guy was telling him it was okay! Like it was his own body to decide what to do with. Link was tempted to tell them to stop, when the cum filled him up inside. It was hot, it seeped out of his ass and probably onto the other's cock. Okay, maybe he could just. Let whatever happens happens-
"Can...Can I finish in your mouth? Please? I like your mouth."
The guy didn't even wait for a response. Suddenly, he was dropped to the ground, and a cock was shoved right into his mouth. It was done unceremoniously, roughly, with a big hand gripping onto his hair. It was a tight, possessive, aggressive. Link loved it. He didn't care that those heavy balls were smacking against his chin, didn't care that he kept gagging till his throat hurt. Link only had one thought in mind.
That he loved cock.
He loved cock, loved the smell of it, the taste, and the feeling of so much cum being forced down his throat. It slid down his throat, pooled into his stomach. The cock slowly pulled out of his mouth, resting on his face. It was wet, steaming hot, still pulsing.
"Oh no."
"Did we just. Oooh my god."
The pollen seemed to have startee to dissipate, and the two of them looked upon him, cocks out and horrified.
"We just. Fucked the new guy."
"We did. We fucking did. Oooh my god, Kohga is gonna kill us."
"What do you expect us to do?! God, this is all your fault."
"M-MY FAULT?! Are you serious?!"
"If you weren't a pervert, I wouldn't have...wouldn't..."
Link got bored in their argument, and decided to entertain himself, by suckling his balls. The hair, the sweat. It was all SUCH a delight. The footsoldier sighed, almost annoyed.
"Why don't I just join our new friend here, and we just put the whole thing past us?"
"H-hey, no, stop it, you pervert-"
The footsoldier joined him, on his knees, suckling on his balls alongside Link, and for the other's amusement, occasionally kissed Link's cum coated lips. Maybe muddling was a good thing afterall.

The Buffy Re-watch: S2E15 (part 2)
Phases
Folklore lesson with Giles. Xander actually manages to land a joke with Giles too. First time for everything.
'Typical male' - predatory, aggressive, acting on instinct an no conscience. Unfortunately, there are plenty of men in the world who do act like this, and with the rise of certain types of men making content on the internet aimed at getting others to believe that these behaviours are acceptable, it is only getting worse. Wile Buffy might be generalising here, the problem remains that there are too many men falling into harmful thought processes and actions because they have nowhere else to turn to validate their idea that they are entitled to more and better, without actually working on themselves to be decent and likable humans that don't see relationships, women and sex as commodities and transactions. Women might generalise because it is never clear who are the ones believing this 'alpha male' bullshit. We can't tell who might cause harm, because it could be anyone and too many men do it. Also, we just saw Buffy get sexually harassed and assaulted by Larry, while he might be behaving this way to cover up his homosexuality, he doesn't get a pass from being called out and dealt with.
Buff more interested in people cheating than finding the werewolf. People like drama when it doesn't involve them.
Cain is disgusting with his comment about Giles and Buffy. uncalled for and gross. He's sexist too.
Cain is played by Jack Conley how also appears in Angel as the demon Sahjhan, and he appears in the Supernatural episode 'Yellow Fever' as Sheriff Britton. Yes, the episode where Dean screams at the sight of a cat and mines along to Eye of the Tiger.
Angelus is stalking women, this time Theresa from the self-defence class Poor girl, this won't end well for her.
Willow and Cordy bonding while talking about how Xander is not capable of being present with them and is obsessed with someone else, and when they call him out on it, he is completely unware he did it.
Okay, I'm guessing the werewolf came in through the roof, but there is a balcony above Willow and Cordy, so shouldn't someone have seen the wolf before it laded in front of the girls?
Can we kill Cain, please? I really hate him.
I appreciate the use of practical effects for the werewolf. It's debatable whether it holds up now, but I'm glad it's not CGI.
Vampires and werewolves aren't friendly, who new?
News reporters got there quickly to get the story on Theresa.
Oz is our resident werewolf, and all he says is 'Huh'. That checks.
Poor Oz, having to hear that he is suspected of killing someone and people want him dead.
Xander forgetting that he told everyone that he didn't remember his animal possession days. And it is never brought up again. if you want to know my thoughts on it, I have a whole post dedicated to it.
Oz thinking that Xander is on to him being the wolf is probably the most expressive he is in the show.
Oh you'll get a confession from Larry alright, just not the kind you're expecting, Xander.
Buffy can see that Willow is trying and wans more for her and Oz.
Xander and Larry are having two very different conversations, leading to a very big misunderstanding. One that continues into season 3. I am glad that Larry accept his part of himself, but that does not excuse his earlier behaviour. It is good that he learns and grows as a person and does better, even going so far as to help the gang fight the Mayor at the end of next season, before he gets eaten.
Oz being away from Willow is him trying to protect her and others from his wolfiness. He likes her and doesn't want to jeopardise this new relationship.
I ended up writing 10 pages of notes for this episode so it is being split into 3. The last part will, of course, be tomorrow.

This is just a mega rant for Pokemon Fanfictions that focus on Ash Ketchum from the anime. Honestly I'll admit, as a kid I wanted to read some "awesome" or "cool" fanfictions but would find the "Ash gets betrayed by his friends, comes back buff with millions of legendaries"
Looking back, I do dislike those fanfictions a bit but I also wanna add on it- like cause my image of Ash in such a scenario is so different from everyone. I know my options will definitely differ from others and honestly I would love to hear other ideas for an idea.
1. Catching a Legendary/Mythical
I won't deny nothing, Ash is definitely capable of catching a Legendary/Mythical and would be such a great candidate. But the only reason I think Ash doesn't try to catch them is because he understands they are pokemon that shouldn't be caught. If they wanted to join him he would let them but he wouldn't actively try to catch or convince them to join him. He has traveled the world and seen so many evil teams use Legendary Pokemon, he just knows it would be dangerous to own.
Besides that, pokemon are gods? Imagine if the god of time suddenly traveled with a kid instead of going to work? I do think a few Legendary/Mythical pokemon that aren't completely tied to a guardianship or watching job could join him.
Like imagine Mewtwo- that would be a crazy one. Ho-oh ? I don't believe Ho-oh watched over things and it would fit Ash tbh. The baby mythical Pokemon he has met?
2. Ash gets betrayed
You telling me Brock would betray Ash? Maybe out of manipulation, but Brock is a Ash supporter. I don't see any of the characters even thinking of betraying Ash, I can't even choose who tbh. Misty? Any of the Aloha crew? The Kalos crew !?!
I don't see them doing that. But I mean it's fanfiction so like you can go wild, it's just a nitpick of mine.
3. Edgy Ash
After the fanfictions, Ash becomes well unrecognizable. I do understand that what he goes through would definitely make someone bitter and honestly absolutely needed of sass remarks.
But like, I feel like if Ash got betrayed he wouldn't turn to a personality? He would definitely get more upset maybe snappy but he would try to act like himself. He would try to act like those words don't hurt. He would continue to reach out to people to try and help even though he is bleeding out.
Though I do say, I love to see a Ash who is completely happy and kind. But when you say something bad he is one inch away from choking the breath out of you. It comes out of such a left field you don't even expect him to fight back.
I wanna see an Ash who still helps people but is terrified of himself. He been the Chosen One so many times, he is worried that the people that follow him will be victims. But he still can't stand to turn away from them, he can't travel alone it just makes him feel empty. Makes him miss the easier days before all the legendaries.
I wanna see an Ash who is still affected from all those events. The deaths he went through, the many death of friends and foes, the world crumbling below him. I want him to talk about Sir Aaron and Lucario, Pokelantis, Kalos, Victini, everything. Just tell someone and let it all out. Then try to act like it doesn't affect him but it does.
I want an Ash who is like almost superhuman because he trains with his Pokemon but still looks normal. He just passionate about his Pokemon
(I also want more people to write angst about the Kalos event... Like you telling me that red lion man ripoff kidnapped Ash and called him the Chosen One. I know it was because of the Bond thing... But what if he knew about Ash's other adventures. What if Ash slowly realizes he might be in more danger with each passing day his name is told)
Rant over ✌️

Angel's Game - Chapter Three
Tw: death, suicide, temporary amnesia, blood and violence
"A movie night, that was all it was meant to be," Babe said as they stared out at the burning landscape around them. "You were even going to be invited as well. Just us, Angel, and our mates." They sighed, rubbing their forehead. "And now we're stuck in a literal pixelated hell."
"We'll figure this out, we may be on our own but we're not helpless. You two know this..'game' well right?" They gave Starlight a nod. "Good, so we can use your knowledge to our advantage to get us out of here."
Angel nodded more determined. "I like their confidence. Let's do this and show that dragon who's their uncle." Babe bit their lip with a shake of their head as they begin to craft armor.
"Okay so what exactly do we do? I can't imagine that we can just walk up to the dragon's den and bap it with an axe."
"Ugh I wish!" Angel groaned, "It's a whole thing. We got to get lava and use it to create a portal to another dimension where we then get blaze rods and ender pearls to make ender eyes. Which will then lead us to the portal to where the dragon is and we place those eyes in the frame and finally get to the boss fight. Which is on a floating island in the middle of the literal void. And holy shit! We're going to fight a dragon on a floating island in the middle of the void!" Angel's eyes widened with a startled realization. Starlight looked just as panicked as well, if not more.
Babe tossed over Angel their armor, ignoring the dread that was filling their own stomach as they attempted to reassure the two. "I know it sounds like a lot but we've played this game for years and beat the dragon countless times. And I know, we'll actually be experiencing it this time which does sound scary. But Starlight has a point, we have the upper hand by knowing how this game works and the best ways to avoid most danger in it and get home safely."
"'Most danger'? Like what?"
"Well we know to not go out at dark because of hostile mobs, use boats to cross any deep water because of drowned zombies. We'll be sure to sleep so there won't be flying demons in the sky. Oh! And the new one that was just added, the deep dark which holds the Warden."
Angel chimed in, "I'm telling you right now, if we run into the Warden I'm just offing myself on the spot."
Starlight winced. "That bad?"
"That mother fucker gives me literal nightmares just by playing the game, I can't even imagine what it's actually like close up."
Babe sarcastically said, glad the tension that had been in the air previously was gone, "Strange, I thought you were into the big tall buff kind."
"Yeah, big tall buff people who don't sonic boom me from half a mile away and ruin a two year hardcore world that I had just updated the night previously to let it in," Angel pouted with a furrowed brow.
Starlight questioned, "Where is the 'deep dark' usually?"
"You got to go digging deep for it so after this we shouldn't have any reason to go looking in caves anymore." Babe put the furnace and crafting table back into their inventory, taking their sword back out and holding a torch in the other hand.
Angel continued, "And speaking of caves, it doesn't look like this one goes much further so I doubt there's any lava in here. We should head to the surface and try our luck up there instead because I don't plan on spending hours strip mining just to try and find one."
Babe nodded in agreement. "We'll need more food too, our best bet is finding a village cause I'm not going into that hellscape without at least a stack and a half of something edible." They then paused and looked over to Starlight. "Do you think you'll be able to eat bread by the way?"
Their eyes shifted to the side as they thought before shrugging. "I think so, I'm not sure."
"Guess we'll have to test what heals you up," Angel said, pulling out their axe and pointing it towards the direction of the cave opening. "Now onwards!" they declared before marching forwards.
"They have surprisingly a lot of energy for someone who's in this kind of situation."
Babe smiled, with a short laugh and joked, "Trust me, they can get a lot worse than this, I'd say they're pretty tame at the moment." Starlight grinned back before following them.
The sun had just begun to rise and any hostile mobs that had originally been out there were now just small piles of bones, arrows, and rotten flesh. Starlight blocked the sun rays from their eyes, giving them a moment to adjust before they could fully see their environment.
"Wow," they gasped, eyes scanning everything around them. "It's really pretty and the air's so clean." They took a step forward to admire it more when a sizzling then caught their attention and their head snapped towards it.
A green, leafy creature began flashing white in front of them and before they could yell, it then turned into a pile of grey dust before them. Angel stood in its spot with their axe drawn out and a panicked expression on their face.
"What the hell was that?!"
"A creeper, they like to explode their prey," Angel explained, slightly out of breath. "I'm surprised it went after you though, you're part spider."
Babe thought out loud, "Could be because of what we did with that amethyst. And now they're no longer considered a hostile mob." Starlight crossed their arms over their chest, looking down at their many limbs as if just realizing they were there again. An uncomfortable expression crossed their face as they looked around, much more on edge.
"Let's get going, we only have so much daylight," Angel insisted, placing a hand on Starlight's shoulder in comfort and leading them along.
They walked through the plains, passed through a savanna and a small desert that had more creepers in it then cactus. Before finally reaching a large swamp that they attempted going around but quickly realized it would be impossible before nightfall.
They trudged forwards slowly, walking through the shallow green waters and having to yank their legs up with each step after it got caught in the mud. Babe took the front, always having the best luck with finding villages as Angel proclaimed. While Starlight was right behind them, looking anxiously around as if anticipating something.
Angel took the rear, grumbling the entire way with enough swears that would've gotten them a mouth full of soap even at their grown age. They were just grateful they hadn't run into many slimes, other than small ones that just bumped into their ankles and could be nudged away with ease.
Babe then asked from ahead, "How you doing back there hon?"
Angel bitterly responded, "Absolutely wonderful, I'm so glad that swamps were added into the game. They add so much color and life to minecr-fuck my shoe!" They then shouted, unable to yank their foot out from the mud. The two ahead stopped and turned around, heading back to them.
"This is so gross," they whined, grabbing onto Babe who rolled their eyes.
"Such a baby," they muttered, making Angel gasp but was ignored by them continuing, "Grab their other arm, we'll pull them on the count of three." Starlight grabbed onto their other arm while Babe got a better grip on the one that was  holding them.
They counted, "Okay, one two three!" The two yanked and Angel went flying into them, knocking them both down into the muddy waters. Starlight groaned while Babe had their mouth tightly closed to avoid any of the water getting into it.
Angel winced, sitting up and giving an apologetic look to the two. "Sorry." They stood back up, helping the others back up who began trying to wipe the mud and sea grass off of them. Angel pulled some out of their hair and off their clothes.
But a high pitched laugh then sounded off behind them and before they knew it a green potion was thrown at their feet and shattered against Babe's leg, causing them to yelp. Green particles began to swirl around them and they instantly began to feel its effects.
Angel dropped to their knees, water splashing up as they groaned in pain while Babe was coughing roughly, doing their best to remain upright but eventually falling to one knee and clutching their abdomen. Starlight stood there unaffected by it and looked at the two concerned before then spotting their attacker.
They stood not too far off and watched them with a sly smirk underneath a pitch black witch hat. They wore a dark green tunic and dark brown pants with a purple cloak that trailed in the water.
Angel cried out in pain, "Starlight, distract them!"
"How?!" They yelled back in a panic as the witch began to pull out another potion to most likely finish them off.
"Web them, I don't care, just do something!" The spider hybrid looked frantically around before seeing a slime and their eyes lit up. They shot out a web to latch onto the small thing and swung it at the witch, hitting them head on and covering their sight with the creature.
Angel let out a breath of relief when the poison effect wore off and immediately began eating apples to start to heal up. Babe moved to their feet and grabbed at Angel to help move them out of the radius of any other potions. They were handed some apples in gratitude.
Starlight followed after them as they hid behind a tree on one of the small patches of land. "What do we do?!" They asked hurriedly.
"Don't die?" Angel offered, getting a hiss from them which had them all pause in shock for a moment.
"Sorry," they quickly whispered.
Babe brushed them off. "They could be another person that was trapped here, we can't just leave."
Angel argued, "They can finish us off with just two potions if we're not careful though."
"The potions didn't hurt me though," Starlight then pointed out.
"Right! Cause you're technically a spider, you-" Another laugh then sounded from behind Angel and they spun around coming face to face with the witch.
They shouted, throwing themselves backwards in Starlight who barely caught them in time. They shot out another web to a further tree and held onto Angel as they yanked themselves to it.
Babe's eyes then widened before they shouted to the others, "The dot! It's on their nose!" Then bolted as another splash potion was tossed their way and barely made it out of its proximity.
Angel laughed briefly, still in the spider hybrid's arms. "That's funny." Starlight looked down at them confused. They looked up as they explained, "Because they're a witch and in the actual game the witch has a wart on their nose and-nevermind it's really not that important." They pulled away from them, standing up straight and taking out the amethyst once again.
"Draw their fire/attention while me and Babe try to get close. They shouldn't be able to hurt you but be careful." They got a nod and Angel hurried away while Starlight shot a web at the witch, latching onto their arm and yanking hard.
They got knocked off their feet and into the water with a large splash. Meanwhile Angel and Babe both took the chance to go running for them but before either could reach the witch had pushed themselves back up. They pulled out another poison potion and slammed it on the ground, hitting the two with its effects and themselves too.
But then pulled out a healing potion and chugged it before pushing themselves back to their feet, ignoring the remaining poison effects on them. They glared at the two on the ground, a cruel smile crossing their lips as they began to reach into their robe again.
But Starlight then shot out some webs from their hands, managing to pin their arm to a tree. "I got them!" They shouted. Catching Babe's attention who winced painfully but forced themselves up and went lunging for the other arm. Angel screamed out in pain but shot upwards and hurried to them, quickly using the amethyst on the small void on their face.
And just like before, a lightning storm shot throughout their body, closing in on the mark and sealing it up with a crackle. They then fell limp, only being held up by Babe and the webbing. Angel began tearing off the webbing while Starlight kept their distance.
"Are you sure that's safe?" The spider hybrid questioned, warily eyeing the witch.
Babe answered as they helped lay the newcomer down on a patch of land, "We did the same for you. So unless they're some major asshole back in our world I think we'll be fine." They then held out a hand, "Angel give me some food, I'm half a heart," they groaned in pain and was passed over several more apples.
Angel bit into the last apples they had before saying, "Annnd, we're out. No one else get hurt or you're stuck with the zombie flesh."
Before anyone could respond the witch then began waking up. Their eyes slowly opened and their face contorted in pain as they immediately began trying to sit up. The two began helping them up, letting them rest their back on the tree they had been previously stuck to.
Babe assured them gently, "Hey you're alright, nothing should be broken or bleeding. Just a bit sore. I'm Babe, this is Angel and that's Starlight. Can you tell us your name?"
"My name's Cutie…where am-what am I wearing?" They questioned, eyes blinking rapidly as they grabbed their clothes. "Oh these colors are so ugly- oh wow that's not the only thing that's ugly." Cringing when they caught sight of Starlight who gaped at them.
"Well shit I guess they were a major asshole back in our world," Angel muttered.
"And continuing with the topic of ugly, all blue isn't really the fit that you think it is." Angel stared at them silently with a hard look before moving their gaze over to Babe.
"I can get away with murder in here right?"
Babe swatted their hand at them. "Stop, no, all of you please stop. Shut up." Everyone went quiet instantly. "This is not the time for any of this bullshit right now. We are stuck in this together and we have to work together if we want to get out of here. Arguing isn't going to do anything but get us killed faster."
"'Killed faster'? 'Get out of here'? Where the hell are we?" Cutie glared at them.
They took in a breath before explaining, "To put it as simple as I can, we're stuck in a video game and have all been given a 'role' in it. You are a witch, they're a spider and we're the two human characters in it. And we think the way to get out of here is by beating the game and we could really use your help, especially with your abilities."
Cutie stared at them silently, eyebrow furrowed and mouth opening and closing as they tried to process it. They took a moment before finally saying, "That's..that's a lot. Holy-I-What?! A video game?!"
"I know, I know. It's a lot. We have no idea how this is really possible either, we're in the same boat as you. But we genuinely believe that the best way to get out of here is by beating the game, and luckily Angel and I have experience on how this game runs. We can get you out of here safely I promise." Their emotions running wild on their face, eyes scanning Babe's face before nodding a bit.
Angel then looked up, eyes widening before they looked around anxiously. "Uh guys, can we talk more about this while we walk? It's getting dark way too fast and I don't feel like getting my ass handed to me by ten creepers."
Cutie questioned with concern, "Creepers?"
"We'll explain on the way, but they're right. We should keep going."
They nodded slowly, still looking extremely hesitant and confused. "Where are you headed to?"
"The nether, but we're going to need a lot of food to survive that hellscape."
Cutie's eyebrows scrunched together as they thought. "You need food? I think I know where a village is. It might have a lot of food, I can't remember. My memory's really hazy right now but I think I can lead the way."
The two humans looked at each other and Angel shrugged. "Food or not, we'll need safety during nightfall. Lead the way Elphaba."
