Hi! :D I hope you're doing great. So I am wondering something. (I searched your accaunt for this a bit but couldn't find an answer to this, I'm sorry if you had already answered a similar question)

The Sun Eats The Moon is a no curses AU, and I just want to know how you think that affects Gojo. Like, what is different? Just his ways? I know he still has a power status not quite matched but, it can't be the same, right? And his powers kind of make him, would you agree? I just find no curses AU's so interesting because of this :)

ohhhhh that's such a great question actually???? lemme preface this by saying i do NOT write gojo like his canon counterpart. The canon version of him is a complicated mix of sweet, lonely guy who wants to have friends but he lives with beings who will never understand him so he has a hard time equating value to them even though he knows on paper killing humans is bad. I mostly lean into Gojo's cruel malicious side whenever I write him.

Considering how powerful he is, despite his lighthearted personality, Gojo holds a lot of responsibility. He's the strongest, right? Because of the immense responsibility he holds, he'd hold himself (by that i mean personality-wise) back a lot. We've seen that Gojo can be pretty cruel and horrible to those he allows himself to kill (aka the curses). in the Shibuya arc, he's not killing them off, he's straight up toying with the disaster curses. It's in his nature to be malicious, but he holds himself back a lot because of how strong he is. He's also shown to be really lonely in this version (with his whole dream of creating stronger sorcerers so he can not be lonely), so acting in whatever way he desires (aka killing off the higher ups) might scare off his allies. Two things that keep him in line, mostly.

It's why I think in the non-curses au, Gojo would feel more 'freer' in a sense. In SEM he's still pretty powerful, but that's largely due to his wealth and familial affluence. He doesn't have the weight of a secret jujutsu sorcery world on his shoulders. With the lack of responsibility, I personally feel Gojo would act out on his desires a lot more. Why hold back? He isn't answering to anyone, right? Also, in this version, he's a lot less lonelier. He doesn't have this fear that if he pushes too hard people might leave him. It also has to do largely with Geto but I don't wanna spoil too much considering what I have planned. But maybe yall have already connected the dots on that one lmao:)

In SEM, thematically Gojo's character moves in a very different way compared to his regular counterpart. After Riko, Gojo realizes that the weak need to be protected. In this version of him, Gojo never has that realization. That coupled with the lack of responsibility would cause Gojo to be a lot more malicious, I believe.

So bascially, SEM! Gojo has a god complex. And regular Gojo also has a God complex but it's more complicated than that.

#actually did, #actually osdd Posting about the disorder itself. Whether it's studies or your specific experiences with it

#syscourse System-related discourse. It's common courtesy to leave the other sys-related tags off syscourse posts because it's rude to drag people in who are casually scrolling through a tag not wanting to see syscourse

#endo safe + #anti endo Endogenic systems are ones that form without trauma. Have whatever opinion on them you want. It's just a tag to welcome/ask them to leave. Alt related #anit endo, #pro endo

#[system/introject/etc] positivity Your usual positivity posts!

Blogs and sideblogs

Obviously, you'll have your main blog that you make when you get Tumblr(mine is @voidedmuffin, as you see here), but Tumblr allows the unique ability to have multiple sideblogs completely separate from your main. Some people use this feature to make a spam blog, art blog, interest blog, ask blog, etc. A common thing with the system community here is alter-specific blogs and/or a general system blog for catchall stuff. I'll be using some of ours as examples

Starting with comparing them. @legsystem is our general catchall system blog that our alters can post to publically or anonymously. I tend Not to post system-related things on my personal blog, just cuz I'm a little private about it. @timdrakesstaff is a fictive alter of Tim Drake from DC(he's a loser, lol). He made his own blog to interact with others as himself without needing to mask as the host. Some other alters Also use his blog because they like encroaching on others' property, lol

Our immediate bios aren't very descriptive because of our private nature, but it gets the jist across of pronouns and age. Some system blogs will link their Carrd or Rentry here, or do that in a different post.

The reason Tim's blog has two URLs listed is because if you view it on desktop, you can see a very personalized page! Very cool Tumblr feature that you can find layouts for!! That means you layout makers have enrichment here still! In fact, you have a lot more wiggle room!

It just lays out some more information and ground rules. This is often where people will put their DNI's and stuff. We didn't use a lot of tags on it just out of preference. These can be as short or as long as you want. You don't even have to have one if you don't want to!

Sourcecalls/Canoncalls

The main difference between these two things is that the system community tends to not use the canoncall tag, as that's primarily used by the kin community, cuz it's a spiritual multiversal connection thing? I dunno, my knowledge on kinning comes from 2017-2020 Qutev kinmunity and uhhhhh, that was just a large group of systems who Didn't Know Yet, lmfao. Sourcecalls are just for finding fictives from the same source as you!

Like I said, there are lots of blogs out there that let you submit anonymously for a source. @findinyourkin @findthebae @kincalling @problematickincalls1(specifically for problematic sources or characters, or specific timelines. They don't tag triggers, so be mindful) among many other blogs, I just know that these are popular and active ones to use!

These blogs will often have their own criteria for sourcecalls, but it usually follows Character-source-age-age range you comfy with-contact with added option of adding in memories you have to make your distinguishable or who in particular you might be looking for. Some blogs ask you to specificy if you're kin/fictive and if you're okay with the other interacting As for contact, you can link/@ a blog in the call, reblog the call to said blog, or add a "interact(like/rb) this post and I'll reach out to you!". You can turn on notifications for a post, but it doesn't always work

When you go to look for sourcemates, you'll want to look up the #[media] fictive or #[character] fictive. (Alternatively #[media] kin or #[character] kin). The former is Everything, the latter is for a specific person. This can be used to find that specific guy you might be looking for "I'm a X fictive looking for Y fictive from Z source. I will go into the #Y fictive tag to see what I can find. Or I will see all the different/unsorted people by searching #Y fictive]"

Here's a couple examples from our system! (Click on the second image to actually see the full thing, lmao)

On the left is a sourcecall post anonymously to a search blog. It follows the basic criteria I listed above. In the blog's post, they'll end up tagging it with #canon calls, #lance mcclain fictive, #voltron fictive, #fictive some blogs will tag a little differently or more in-depth. Lance ended up reblogging his sourcecall post to @legsystem so people could find him/the blog easily

On the right is a sourcecall post made by the alter on their own blog. It's very direct. Tim lists more stuff in his post than Lance did in the anon one, but ultimately they're very similar! Tim also made his in 2022 and still gets interactions(like, 2 in the last week alone, lol). So, if people look for you, they will find you!

This is a very wide net. He's fine with kins interacting as well, so he included the kin call tag. He tagged the relevant fictive tags, as well as his own character tag. Since it's his main/permanent sourecall, he didn't tag specific fictives he's looking for, but he's done so in other posts in the past.

System-related blogs (And kin-related!)

They're are plenty of blogs besides sourcecall ones that engage with the system community at large!

@funnier-as-a-system Will reblog posts that can be read as a system, even if that wasn't the original intent of the post. Always makes me laugh

@fictive-culture, @pluralcultureis and @systemcultureis Are both blogs that post submissions with Relatable content on general fictive and system culture. There's also more specific versions of these blogs out there. Like demifictive, factive, little, etc culture

@fictionkinfessions And other related blogs post submitted (usually anonymous) confessions. You can be as up front about who you are an/or who you might be talking about. There are also related blogs for venting

@findinyourkin @findthebae @kincalling @problematickincalls1 Previously mentioned source/canoncall blogs! They're great

There are also plenty of system-related and friendly Discord servers around. You'll be able to find them easier on Disboard, but you can find them on some of those above blogs, in some of those source fictive tags, and just through the people you meet! (Tim always throws an active comic server at all the DC people he meets, lmao)

The colouring on this piece is pushed towards an orange direction (so the blue water can compliment that). This gives a sunset vibe because we all know what happens when the sun sets amirite?- sleeping!

So far this is the piece I'm happiest with for the outcome. Maybe I'm biased cuz it's my wife but also because the softness of the background looks really nice, the wet skin look was done well even with this more limited shading style, and I love how her sheer robe turned out.

Day 7: "Close your eyes" [Reader x Saitama] {One Punch Man}

This couldn't be any cozier. All the things your friends were going on about when you said Sai was your favorite hero had been completely untrue. Yeah, he was a little lazy and stayed at home when he wasn't doing his job; but that wasn't a bad thing. It had been so weird asking him out, you wondered if he even read your letter.

He had been kinda cute, flustered like that.

But now you were snuggled up to him while his roommate went out. Genos was a good guy, real sweet and all that. It was super easy to see why your friends liked him, but Sai was just as sweet. It just took a little prying.

Curled up against his, surprisingly slim chest; you felt safe. Relaxing with a movie that you were pretty sure Sai wasn't interested in, but he loved spending time with you. He told you directly that he didn't care what you two did, as long as he could spend time with you. At first, it sounded horrid, but the way Sai asked to go do things made you realize he really didn't care what was going on around himself.

He only cared that you were there with him.

"So, what's the point of her cat?" Sai thought out loud.

You shifted a little under the covers, "Do you really want me to answer, or did you want to find out on your own?"

"Hm?" He dug into his ear, "Nah, I'm good. Just a little weird that its the only animal that talks."

"There is an answer to that." You snuggled under his chin carefully, "If you want me to tell you."

"Nah, it doesn't really mess with the story or anything. It doesn't talk to anyone else so it's not like a plot hole or whatever."

You snickered a little, just enjoying the time you had. His arm wrapped around your back, slowly rubbing your back. It was extremely soothing, especially with such a 'do nothing' movie in the background.

"Sai, you're gonna put me to sleep doing that."

"Hm?" He didn't stop, "It'll be fine. You can just stay the night if you do fall asleep. I'll make sure you get up in time, promise."

"I don't wanna make things difficult for you or Genos though." You stifled a yawn.

"It's not a problem [Name], it'll be fine."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

"If I didn't know any better Sai, I'd say you want me to stay the night."

"Well, yeah. A little."

You couldn't help but chuckle as you relaxed a little more.

"Okay, so a lot." Sai continued, "It would be nice to cuddle you tonight."

"Then maybe we should tell Genos so he isn't blindsided by this. It's just rude to not give him a heads up."

"Yeah, sure. Lemme get my phone real quick."

You nodded while sitting up. Stretching and popping your back, all the while trying to stifle a yawn. Sai wandered back in with his phone in one hand, a second pillow in his other hand. He was prepping for your stay. The fact that he didn't just keep a pillow in his room for this specific reason. But he never wanted to force you to do stuff you didn't want to. Maybe he felt that it was too pushy to keep a spare pillow on his bed.

"[Name], I know it's not that late," Sai walked back in, "But maybe we should... go to bed?"

You lazily eyed the movie, seeing where it was, "Hmmm, yeah. Sure. I guess Genos isn't going to be back until late?"

"Yeah, something about..." He checked his phone, "Being asked to a dinner meeting with that movie star guy."

"Wait, the hero that does all the movies?" You tilted your head as you approached Sai.

"Yeah, I think."

"I mean, I guess that makes sense. But I don't get it."

"Hm?"

"He just seems like a jerk." You leaned against Sai's shoulder, "Like who let him be pretty when he's just gonna be snobby and petty?"

You could have sworn Sai snickered at your, admittedly tired musings. There could be a hundred reasons why, but you really didn't care. Especially as you settled in next to Sai.

"Hey [Name]?"

"Hm?"

"I love you."

"Love you too Sai." You nuzzled against his shoulder, "Close your eyes, okay? This was your idea after all."

"I know. Night."

"G'night Sai."

WAIT.

Something just occurred to me that I dont think we've ever talked about. A very terrible one, so- trigger warning for sexual assault (the whole Lottie conception thing).

So Rena fucks black-out-drunk Smartass on a really bad night after a terrible fight with King. She was under the influence of hard drugs, but, still- she was more Aware, then he was. He resembled her husband, and in her fucked-up, drug-addled mind, gravitated towards him. Used him. Left early and got pregnant.

It was a fucked up situation all around but Rena was definitely the instigater and in a bad place head-wise; emotionally erratic and a loose canon.

Well... in the universe where they all know eachother eventually- does Shiny k n o w??? Does Poppy know??? If King found out about Lottie, Rena would definitely tell him the whole story. But I don't think she'd go around telling just anyone (or if she'd even care. Or think about it at all. Getting drunk and fucked up and doing 'fucked up shit' (little baby firefly reference for you to lighten the mood XD ) is an all the time kinda thing for her after all). And I doubt that Smartass would, either. So...

??? What do you think? Maybe King tells them. How do they react? 🤔

(Oh god what of LOTTIE found out. She already doesn't want her mother, now she's about to kick this woman's ass)

This... I knew we had to confront it when we started to ship our OC's together, but I was afraid to 😅😭😅😭

Hooooooooo boy. Ok. Lemme break this down. I've been simmering on this ask for the past couple of days cause I wanna D I S C U S S this-

First off- whether or not Poppy and Shiny know what Rena did.

Hm... I feel like it's kind of yes, kind of no? And Shiny knows more than Pops does. Obviously, they don't know who the mother is, and if Smartass can't remember that night, then he's either blocked the memory out or he was that black out drunk. I don't think the darker side of this would really sink in for Poppy early on because, although she does know creeps exist, she imagines them being more confrontational; she did kind of grow up sheltered, and the only creeps she's encountered in Downtown are those who aren't subtle. So she doesn't think about the consequences of leaving your drink open in a crowded bar, or someone waiting until you're inebriated and not sound of mind to invite you over to their place (i really really really want to write Poppy getting drugged at a bar while hanging out with Greasy or Shiny, and they notice and take care if shit. Kind of like your Jim x Reader drabble). It took her a while to realize that how she and Henry met was also pretty predatory on his part, though.

Remember when I told you I imagine Poppy actually being there the night Lottie was dropped off on their doorstep? I also see her, after getting over the shock of a baby in this mobster house, trying to help Smarty retrace his steps so they can figure out where the baby even came from, "Ok, do you remember where you were nine months ago?" "Who the hell keeps track a'that!?" "Nobody, but in this case, we really need to figure that out-" Whether Smartsss remembers and tells her or not, after thinking it over, I think Poppy would suspect that Smartass was also taken advantage of and is scared and sorry for him. She'll ask him if he's OK and assure him it wasn't his fault, even if he tries to brush it off. As usual, Poppy would go into well-meaning-but-kinda-overbearing mode. She hopes that maybe the mother was also drunk- it's still bad for them both, but it's better than if she soberly saw Smartass in the state he was in and slept with him still. She wouldn't be sure if she should keep Lottie's hope up for her mother in this case since they only know Smartass' side, and will listen if he or Lottie says they aren't interested in the possibility that her mother may come back.

Shiny on the other hand, she's encountered nearly every type of fucker you could think of, especially now that she works in the adult entertainment industry. She's even fallen victim to some of them in the past. It's part of why she's so ready to square up and gouge someone's eye out if they give her the wrong vibe- hell, when she's out with her gals, especially Poppy, she's sniffing out for creeps while having fun. It's just second nature to her at this point. So when she was told about baby Lottie and heard that Smartass had no memory of that night, her alarm bells were already ringing in her head. Even if she annoys Smartass, she does see him as kind of like a little brother... A little brother who's a little asshole and got little man issues, but a little brother all the same (yes, that means she sees Stu as her little brother too. And he's a whole lot nicer than her other adopted brother XD), so she's also got that protective streak in her despite constantly teasing him.

She wants to find the bitch who took advantage of him, and tells him they should go find the mother- not for Lotties sake, but for his. Shiny is headstrong, so it'd take a lot for the guys to convince her to don't bother if Smarty doesn't want to go through all that trouble. Shiny wouldn't approve if Poppy tried to encourage Lottoe to be hopeful about her mother. Even if she wasn't such a monster like Shiny is imagining her to be, she still left her daughter. In Shiny's eyes, that's inexcusable. But maybe this is why Shiny hates Rena so much; she got the vibes from that woman without even finding out she was Lotties mother.

So even though Poppy and Shiny don't know the whole story, they both do end up suspecting and worried for him. Shiny would have no issues against telling Lottie that her mother is a bad person, and Poppy is trying to figure out what to tell Lottie when she asks (honestly they'd probably sit down together and go back and forth, especially if this is after Lottie asked Poppy if shes her mother and Poppy needs advice). If either of them met Rena after this?? And found out what she did???? Hoooooo boy.

Shiny is gonna start swinging, regardless if they've fucked or not. Enough said. Rena is a weapons expert, but Shiny inherited her dad's honey badger crack-head determination. It's anyone's fight at that rate.

Poppy? Ohhhhh ho ho ho, it depends on their relationship. If she just remained uncomfortable around Rena (which would happen in the Pocho, or any weasel ship, timeline. I don't care how alluring Rena turns it up, Poppy ain't cheating on her S/O), then this gives her more incentive to stay away from her. I can see her confronting Rena, even if it has been years at this rate. How could she have gone after a drunken man?! Even if she was having a bad day!? Don't even get me started on Poppy's thoughts about Rena only coming back into Lottie's life when she wants something. The mama bear in her would really rear to the surface if that happened.

If she and Rena started a relationship though??? Oh... Oh hell no. This is so much worse than Rena dropping Poppy for Henry. Poppy also confronts Rena here, but she's so much more angry and disgusted than she was with the topic of Henry. If Rena doesn't show some kind of remose for what she did, Poppy will break up with her... She might break up with Rena anyway- which is pretty big in and of itself because, as I'm sure you've noticed, Poppy has never been the breaker in a relationship. How do you think Rena would respond to that?

Now granted, Rena was also under the influence. But as you said, she was more aware. I think maybe this might make Poppy hesitate? She doesn't indulge in drugs (except that one time Wheezy got her high on weed by accident *cough*) and she prefers to drink on specific times, so she's not so in-tune with how inebriated someone can get and how in control they can be. Shiny, however, she is a hard drinker and smokes (she sticks to Marijuana herself, but she has had a few friends who indulged in more serious drugs. Her slasher self, though, indulges in them greatly), so she does know that there are various levels of sobriety and intoxication. And she's pretty sure Rena wasn't black out drunk like Smartass, especially since she actually remembers that night.

Poppy, conflicted and unsure: Shouldn't we... Aren't we supposed to take her condition that night into consideration, too??

Shiny: that's actually a good point, Pops.

Shiny: *turns to Rena* do you remember what happened that night?

Rena: Yeah-

Shiny: Then kindly go fuck yourself with a sandpaper wrapped cactus that's tipped with E. Coli.

Now as for King... Poppy would have mixed feelings. It's obvious he's not like Rena and doesn't agree with what she does, but why are they still together?? Yes, he loves her, but... *looks at Rena and her cheating hoe-ass* yeah... Meanwhile, Shiny is suspicious of him if he's still with Rena afterall this. What kind of skeletons does he have in his closet?? Other than the obvious. She would try to keep Poppy away from King if this happened in the Kingpop timeline.

As for Lottie. Poppy wants to protect her, so she'll try to stop her from kicking Rena's ass. Yes, she's got training from the navy, but she won't let her little neice get hurt! Let her take care of this, sweetie. You and your father need to get away from this woman. Shiny would jump into the fight first... But she'd let Lottie get her kicks in too. And they can go get a drink at the bar afterwards and either sit in silence or talk about it, whatever Lottie would want.

So, tldr, Poppy and Shiny may not be told all the details, but they would start to suspect on their own. And Riny and Renpop would be nonexistent in this AU.

Fuuuuuuucccckkkk this hurt my heart so bad, especially the part of me that loves the Rena ships despite how dysfunctional they'd be. But we needed this too. What do you think?

So you a little awkwardly scooted over to the stool beside him, Diluc having long walked away to ignore Kaeya.

Kaeya raised an eyebrow and turned to face you, because he couldn't really see you well when you were sitting directly in the blind spot his eye patch provided.

"Oh? What are you doing here [name]? Shouldn't you be partying with the others, family and whatnot?" He said, taking a sip of his favorite drink.

"I could say the same thing for you. But I'm afraid I just don't have the energy for a party right now. Maybe later. Although, I like to entertain the idea that we could have a little party of our own."

"Is that so? What would we do at this little party?"

"Well, let me think. We could play some board games up on the roof of my humble abode, we could drink and eat sweats that we bake together, we could do little sparklers and draw pictures and countdown to midnight together. And we can squeeze in whatever else you want in there."

Kaeya took another sip of his drink as if considering your offer, but really he knew his answer before you even said what you'd do together.

1) the wiki camp 2 is ABSOLUTELY a welcoming community. in fact, check this out: here's an index of plainly written explanations of various community in-jokes, to ensure nobody's left confused! while i'm not super active on the discord due to hyperfixating on single spaces at a time like some sort of cryptid, i have a lot of wonderful friends in the community and i'd wholeheartedly call it nice.

you don't have to apply to write, either! while i don't think there's an ETA yet on when the wiki's re-opening, whenever it does you'll be able to make an account for free and start creating to your heart's content! sometimes people who do that even get roped into the camp due to Token Shenanigans....

i’m turning twenty and ive never dated anyone. a lot of us didn’t start early, but more of my friends are getting into relationships. it usually doesn’t bother me. i have great friends and goals, and im happy for my friends who’ve found someone. im usually not even interested with the guys around me because i like older guys. it feels shallow to mention looks but this has affected how i view myself. ive had girls who are kind enough to say im pretty, but i know i don’t fit into the type the guys around me like, which i usually don’t care about.

with all of that, i know there’s no good reason for me to feel this way but i sometimes feel super unattractive, like no guy could like me. ive had friends mention they can’t picture me dating. i think it’s because i come off as independent, but it hurts me. i feel like they think im undesirable, which makes me feel shitty. whenever i talk with my friends about guys i wonder if they think im inferior because i haven’t had the same experiences. ive had friends tell me they’re excited for when i start dating. they say it because they want to gossip with me, but it’s embarrassing. i feel like they think im less than, or falling behind, or undateable.

first of all i just wanna say something which i'm sure you've been told before (and probably hate hearing by now but shhh lemme cook) which is that you're so young. girl you are turning TWENTY!!!! and i mean that in a good way!!! respectfully you are so so young and you are JUST getting started.

full transparency - i didn't have my first real relationship til my mid twenties. and i felt exactly how you're feeling right now, like i was extremely behind and like i was being silently judged for not having had any of those experiences yet and that it seemed like everyone i knew had already experienced them. i also have a lot of issues with self esteem and self love and while i completely understand that having a relationship would feel validating and boost your self confidence, you are so much more than your experiences - or lack thereof.

you are not undateable. trust me. and i myself am guilty of falling back into that mindset. what's important is being patient with yourself, being kind and loving and understanding. picture yourself as one of your friends, imagine one of them coming to you with these exact issues and try to think of what you'd say to them. would you be kind and supportive? of course you would (i hope so at least!!) and that's why we need to extend that kindness to ourselves, as difficult as it sometimes might be.

on the topic of your friends, i know you say they don't mean any harm by the things they tell you, but if it's hurting you/making you self conscious, i'd recommend telling them that it makes you feel that way. honestly i'd recommend having a real open conversation with your friends about how you've been feeling about everything. i'm positive that they don't think you're undateable or less than - it's so easy to project our own feelings onto other people and convince ourselves that everyone is also thinking these same thoughts about us, but most of the time it's simply not true. and if it is true, those aren't your real friends.

basically honey, at the end of the day you just need to try and be patient with yourself. you're so young and you have so much life ahead of you to have these experiences. they can happen at any age, and they will happen for you. be kind to yourself and remember that your worth has nothing to do with anyone else but you.

The thing is, if it's in a different script to the language you're writing in (for example, English and Japanese), there's not a way for the reader to read it, yk? And idk if there's a way to organically integrate a translation. Even if your reader isn't supposed to know what they're saying, what's the point in including the dialogue in the first place? You can just say they said something in Japanese. Unless it's assumed your reader knows the other language, then it adds some dramatic irony. Ofc, there's gonna be ways you can fit it in well since each situation is different, but I wouldn't add it explicitly in quotations, per se. This is coming from a semi-bilingual language nerd semi-studying to be an editor (aka, don't take it to heart bc I'm not a professional)

A: Aftercare | What is their aftercare like after a heavy round of tickling?

Kagekao loves a good time, but he also knows when to stop his antics and settle down a bit for another person's sake. This isn't any different from the way he behaves after going down on someone hard or for long periods. Depending on how affected the victim is, his aftercare could range anywhere from a couple teasing pokes and a lighthearted mock to giggling gently and stroking their back until they catch their breath, asking if they're okay. He isn't a monster—he's not gonna push his 'lee too far, and if he does, he'll feel bad about it for a long time.

B: Bondage | How do they react to bondage, do they enjoy it and if yes, what is their favorite pose?

As much as Kage loves to be the one pulling the strings, he can also step back and let other people take the lead when they really want to. And honestly? He doesn't mind bondage at all—in fact he kind of loves it (although you'll be hard-pressed to get him to admit that).

He's the sort of person who either needs to be completely in-control or completely vulnerable and helpless. There is no in-between, and that's why positions that 100% disable him from fighting back even a little bit are best. He can squirm and snicker all he wants, but he ain't getting away.

C: Chase | What are their chances in a chase, both as a lee and ler?

Ha. Haha. Lemme tell you something: if he wants you as his prey, he's gonna get you, there's no 'maybe'. With his super demon speed and the uncanny skill he has for climbing walls and ceilings, no amount of running will save you from him. That being said, he'll definitely play with you first, make you think you're outrunning him, make you think you're escaping—then he'll catch up.

Same goes for if he's being chased. If he doesn't wanna be caught, he won't be caught, but he'll definitely make you think you're winning for a time just to hear your grunts of frustration when you realize he's toying with you.

D: Death Spot | What is their most ticklish spot?

It is really hard to successfully tickle Kage, which is why most assume he isn't ticklish at all. But, here's a secret—he does have his weak points. They're just difficult to get to, especially if he and the person seeking those points aren't romantically involved or in like, because that's really the only time he'll let them get that close to him.

The first and most accessible area is his stomach. He's super talented at hiding how sensitive it is, but only for a few moments. The next place is his back, but not just anywhere on his back, no: you have to be precise. You have to target the spot between his shoulder blades, right on the spine. The back of his ribs can elicit some interesting reactions too, but it isn't guaranteed. Lastly, his feet. He will absolutely lose his shit and he will definitely hurt you, even if he doesn't mean to. That's why it's important to ensure he can't move.

E: Expression | How do they express their wish to tickle/be tickled?

He just does it lmao. There usually isn't a warning: if Kagekao wants to tickle someone, he will tickle someone. Sometimes, if you pay close enough attention, you'll catch him staring, as if thinking up a game plan, contemplating his urges, or merely to creep you out.

And he does enjoy being tickled, but as I said, most don't do it because he either pretends not to be ticklish or is too scary and no one wants to risk having a demon on their back. Plus, he's just amazing at gaining and keeping the upperhand, so he doesn't really give anyone a chance to tickle him. It's like a challenge to him—can they manage to get him or will he continue his reign of being the best tickler? In the case he has a particular urge to be tickled, he'll just randomly initiate a tickle fight and tone back his defenses in the hopes his target will reciprocate.

F: Fight | What is their behavior in a tickle fight like?

Can be rough and ruthless or sweet and playful, it depends on his opponent and what started the 'tickle fight' in question. He never attacks out of genuine anger, so he'll always have mercy...eventually.

If it's like a feathery touch or a timid poke or something, he really won't do more than flinch or grin. Light scratches, however, send him (especially if it's in his Top 3 Spots).

His voice is really demonic and broken—kinda like an old VHS recording, with hints of hellish entity and Japanese accent. The volume of his naturally loud voice intensifies the longer the attack goes on, and he'll spew incoherent sentences in his native tongue while cackling and hiccuping. It's funny, watching him unravel.

M: Mornings | Their tickle behavior during mornings?

Kage wakes up every day with the instinct to wreak havoc on someone, so he's definitely sneak-attacked a few people who were trying to eat their breakfast in peace.

N: Nights | Their tickle behavior during nights? 

This is when he's most likely to pounce. It's been a long day, all he wants to do is enjoy life and unwind. He normally goes after individuals who desire the same thing, but when he's feeling particularly masochistic he'll seek out someone grumpier just for the amusement of it.

He really only uses his phone to text his housemates, so not really? He might send out an "I'll get ya" every now and then, but that's it.

His bestie Zero, of course. They've pranked others together many times—why should this be any different? Although he'd definitely do the tickling himself and get Zero's help just holding the person down, since she can be pretty mean and he doesn't want to give the 'lee any bruises.

He and Liu go at it pretty often. He also likes messing with Cody (of course) and Sally, and even Zero on occasion. She never takes it personally and just takes her revenge in other ways.

Literally has no problem with it whatsoever. If he finds out you do, however, you aren't hearing the end of it.

Summary:

After Sam's shop, Jamil's Halloween Tour for Azul officially begins and the couple first make their way to Octavinelle and Heartslabyul's booths, where their respective Prefects and Vice Prefects reveal that they haven't been the only ones facing romantic prospects and dilemmas.

They pass by the other Scarabia students in their costumes, and some turn to greet and wave at them.

"Have a great day, boss!"

"Swing by again sometime, Mister Azul!"

"Wear costumes next time, you two!"

Azul turns to Jamil and casually links their hands again. "When is your costume shift?" he asks curiously.

"Tomorrow and then on Friday, from afternoon until the evening.” Jamil raises an eyebrow at Azul. "Why? Is someone interested? I'm not gonna look much different from the others here, just so you know."

"Just like how I don't look much different in my RSA uniform than my other schoolmates?" Azul tilts his head and smiles.

"... Touché,” Jamil returns the smile

"Oh, hey! Is that a Stamp Booklet in your hands, Mister Azul?" asked one of the Scarabia students. "Here! Lemme go and mark our stall down for you! If you're ever in need of a snack, Sam's selling limited-edition waffles so feel free to come back!"

"Thank you," Azul nods and takes back the stamped booklet.

"Enjoy your date!" the Scarabia student says brightly and returns to their booth.

"I'm happy to see that your residents are supportive," Azul says to Jamil. "I suppose I'm just surprised because the first impression I've had of your residents was when one of them threw their lunch at me," he adds in amusement.

"A-hah, well, we don't often make for the best people to go to when you want to make good first impressions." Jamil chuckles. "It does make me curious what'd go down if you two ever chance upon each other again. I can at least assure you he won't be throwing another lunch your way anytime soon. I think it was his way of protecting my pride for that quiz bee."

"Hmm," Azul hums thoughtfully. "I'd been wondering, when some of your schoolmates and your own residents were quite angry with me after that quiz bee, why weren't you? I mean, you did look like you wanted to stab me right after the quiz ended, but you didn't seem angry anymore when the Leech twins dragged us to the cafeteria."

"I was mostly confused and just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible," Jamil admits. "And even if I was upset at you, I was mostly upset with myself, so the anger against you didn't last for too long."

"I'm glad it didn't," Azul smiles. "Because even back then I already admired you. I've competed in a few quiz bees before, but no one came as close to beating me like you did. It reached a point when I was smiling every time you answered correctly."

"Strange. I don't think I've ever met anyone who'd be happy to get closely beaten…" Jamil says as they start making their way on the path leading back to the Hall of Mirrors. "Why? Craving for a fellow intellectual or something?"

"I suppose I was," Azul shrugs. "As I've said, I only really joined because my professors suggested that I do, and I saw no reason to refuse. I was prepared to be bored out of my mind again, but you made it more challenging."

"Well, I'm glad I was able to make it fun for you. I'm definitely up for a rematch someday. Although I honestly wanna see a showdown between you and our lil' valedictorian: Riddle Rosehearts from Heartslabyul. That guy's ruthless when it comes to being a know-it-all. Their dorm's got 810 rules and he's apparently memorized all of them by heart. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen him get an imperfect score, even when the test had an item about a newfound thesis or research. If you really want a challenge, there's your guy."

"Rosehearts, the president of the Equestrian Club? Interesting," Azul says thoughtfully. “He did seem rather capable and competent when we went horseback riding with Najma a while back.”

Jamil nods. “Exactly. Anyway, we're heading to Octavinelle's booth next. Any guesses as to what they've become this Halloween?" He was certain they hadn't run into any Octavinelle student in costume in the dorm last night, and Jade left for the meeting earlier without changing.

"Hmm. Scarabia is werewolves, Pomefiore is vampires… I don't suppose Octavinelle went for zombies? Sea monsters are also possible, but that might be too on the nose. Or ghosts? I can see Floyd having fun with a costume made out of a sheet with eyeholes.”

"He would, and he'd be an absolute terror at it," Jamil shakes his head in amusement. "Well, here we are. On a normal day, this is our school's laboratory."

They stand by a building that's been decked out with cobwebs and machinery, making it resemble the lab of a mad scientist. Jamil leads Azul inside where they're greeted by a spacious but crowded room full of vials, surgery tables, various equipment, and tanks filled with bioluminescent water.

A few of the Octavinelle students were milling around, looking up at them thinking that they're visitors, only to blink in confusion. They're all dressed in classy suits of white fabric and linen, complete with bowler hats and arm draperies.

"Uh..." one of them speaks up. "Can we help you?"

"Hello," Azul greets him with a smile. "We're just visiting your booth. Oh, and getting a stamp," he shows him the booklet.

"Jamil!" a cheerful voice says, and Rey appears in costume. "I haven't seen you in forever! How's your dorm? How's your booth?" He seems to notice Azul for the first time. "Oh! And who's this?" his eyes drift to their linked hands and look questioningly at Jamil, the smile still on his face.

"Ah, hey Rey," Jamil nods in his direction before looking at Azul and gesturing to the Octavinelle Prefect. "Azul, this is Rey. Rey, this is Azul, a student from RSA. I'm just showing him around. Scarabia’s doing pretty well. How are things here?"

"Oh it's been chill, Jade did a super dope job with this place, I mean look at it!" he gestures proudly around. "And— Wait, Azul?" he turns to him. "Oh! You're the one who's co-managing Jade's café! Nice to finally meet you!" he claps Azul on the shoulder.

"It's nice to meet you too," Azul smiles back. "Thank you for allowing me to co-manage a shop in your dorm."

"It's no problem, man!" Rey says, then turns to Jamil. "Uh, hey, do you know where Tacitus is?"

"Tacitus?" Jamil blinks, confused. Why is Rey looking for his Vice Prefect? "I think he's at his room in Scarabia, since today's not his costume shift. Why?"

"I wanted to show him my costume," Rey grins. "Oh and I'm gonna ask him out. See you, guys!" he claps both of them on the shoulder and strolls out.

"Wh—!?" Jamil sputters out in bewilderment.

"Good luck!" someone from Octavinelle calls out.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! I don't think so!" says another, walking in front of Rey. "Prefect, today's your costume shift and we need you here to help hold down the fort. There were already a LOTTA visitors yesterday—it could end up disastrous if we don't have all hands on deck with us right now!"

"Oh right!" Rey says, as if he just realized what the booth is for. "The visitors! That's why we're in costume! Smart," he points an approving finger at the student. Then he pulls out his phone and starts typing. "Just gonna send a quick text to Tacitus, asking him to visit. Hmm, he doesn't like crowds, though. I'll just ask him to meet up later when the gates close for visitors again." He goes to sit in a chair at the side, texting and smiling at his phone.

"I can stamp that for you," the first student that approached them says politely to Azul.

"Oh thank you," Azul says, handing it over and accepting it after it had been stamped.

"I see that Rey's still the same as ever," Jamil comments, watching the guy type away on his phone before turning to the costumed Octavinelle student in charge of stamping. "But hang on, him and Tacitus? Since when had this been a thing?"

The student shrugs. "I don't know. But I've seen them hanging out a few times, and Tacitus was at Octavinelle yesterday. They had lunch in our lounge."

"I see this surprises you," Azul remarks. "Did they not seem close before?"

"Well, I didn't know much about Tacitus at all, and I certainly hadn't expected him and Rey of all people to get along..." Jamil mutters, looking almost concerned. "Rey seems like a nice guy, but I dunno…"

"If it's of any comfort to you, Jamil, the rest of us haven't quite figured Tacitus out either, despite his frequent visits. It seems like the only one who has an inclination of what he's like is Prefect Rey himself."

Jamil sighs. "I hope he treats him well… Sometimes, when I look at Tacitus, he just seems like a gust of desert wind would be enough to blow him away."

"I've only known Rey for the entirety of two minutes so I can't say much," Azul says. "But he did take into consideration Tacitus' dislike of crowds, so that at least shows that he cares about his feelings. And he seemed really excited to see him."

The Octavinelle student nods. "Yeah, don't worry, Jamil. Prefect Rey can be a little forgetful and… quirky sometimes, but he means well. And Azul has a point. Prefect Rey knows that Tacitus doesn't like going outside much, so they always hang out at our dorm or in any of the buildings here."

"That's saying a lot, considering Rey doesn't like ‘being cooped up for too long', according to him during one of our meetings." Jamil mentions.  "Well, I hope they have fun later, then, and er… good luck for Day 2, you guys."

"Don't worry, we'll be fine, we've got Jade filling in with us after his meeting, but…" The student conspiratorially leans in with a whisper. "We gotta keep Prefect Rey attentive to his duties as much as possible."

"He seems to listen easily when you remind him," Azul says encouragingly. "Good luck for today, and great job on the decorations."

"Thanks," the student grins and walks off to greet the other visitors that are starting to come in.

"Their mummy costumes look good," Azul tells Jamil. "Was each dorm free to come up with their own theme?"

"Yup. Jade told me it was because both he and Rey were mermen, they wanted to try dressing up as the farthest thing from that, so desert mummies they became. Dunno why they went for a mad scientist in addition to that, though."

"Perhaps it was Floyd's idea," Azul says in amusement. "How did Scarabia decide on werewolves?"

"That sounds like Floyd," Jamil mutters. "As for our decision on werewolves, we also wanted to break from our usual norm of desert themes, and then someone thought about the coyotes roaming around at night before we started delving into folktales of people transforming into wolves around the colder regions of the Shaftlands, so… there we are. How about you? If you could dress up as a monster, what would you have liked to become?"

Azul thinks about it. "Perhaps one of those undead creatures who are made of stitched up body parts of different corpses. The idea of creating an entirely new sentient being from several different parts seems like an incredible feat, and as a costume the fake stitches seem like they'd make for good decoration. Or I could just go for a Kraken and save up on costume materials," he says playfully. "What about you?"

Jamil thought about it. "I think a part of me would be the type of asshole that'd dress up normally and say that I'm attending Halloween as a murderous sociopath. Though a skeleton would be pretty cool. It's gotta be a cool-looking skeleton, though. Speaking of, that's what the next location's all about. Come on."

"Bye, you two!" Rey waves them off.

Azul chuckles at Jamil's answer and waves a goodbye to Rey. "A cool-looking skeleton, huh? That definitely sounds intriguing." Then he looks thoughtful. "What costume would you like to see me in?" he asks Jamil.

Jamil blinks at him in surprise. "Oh, um… I'm not sure. I'd much prefer you looking comfortable in what you wear, so… I dunno. I don't really have anything in mind. Why? Do you?”

"I did pick a costume for our Music Club performance," Azul says. "I partly asked that question because I was wondering if you'd like what I had picked," he smiles. "Anyway, which dorm has the cool-looking skeletons?"

"Oh?" Jamil asks, deciding to focus on Azul's mystery outfit first. "How do you find your costume, then? Do you like it? Was it your idea to wear it?"

Azul nods. "It was my idea, yes. We were thinking of what songs we could perform that would be fitting for Halloween, and I remembered one that's based on a legend from the Shaftlands. My costume is based on one of the characters in the legend, I really like it," he says genuinely.

Jamil smiles at him. "Then I'm sure I'll love it. Now, as for the skeletons…"

They stop outside the botanical garden, with guests and visitors streaming in beside them. Jamil made sure no familiar Heartslabyul members were in sight before turning to Azul. "Which dorm do you think this is?"

Azul looks around. "The options are Ignihyde, Diasomnia, Heartslabyul, or Savanaclaw, correct? I don't see any advanced technological effects, so I think we can rule out Ignihyde. I don't see many beastmen either, so I'm guessing not Savanaclaw. It's either Diasomnia or Heartslabyul," he guesses.

"Huh? Oh, hey! You two!" Says a voice, and Ace pops up among the crowd, donning the dark and white clothes and a shovel. He waves and jogs over to them. "What're you doin' here? Showin' him around, Jamil?"

Jamil, though a little cross that the guessing was cut short, nods. "Yep. He's filling out stamps for that prize. Looks like you weren't beheaded, good for you."

"Beheaded?" Azul asks. "I'm guessing that's a metaphor, or Halloween in NRC is much more intense than I had expected."

"Psh, nah. It's my Prefect’s Signature Spell." Ace grimaces, the face of someone who's already experienced it. "It basically locks all your magic away until he dispels it. If you ask me, it's just as bad as an actual beheading. So you're here for stamps? You're gonna have to find our head 'gravedigger' for that! You'll find him inside our 'cemetery'!" He gestures at the large botanical dome. "He goes by the name of 'Trey Clover'. Knowing him, he's prolly not gonna be in-character. Says it's embarrassing."

"Look, momma! It's one of the monsters!" a little girl exclaims, pointing at Ace.

Ace smoothly turns to her and smiles. "Hey there, kiddo! Heading into the spooky graveyard first, are we? Sounds like you're pretty brave! Are you sure you can handle it?"

"We should leave him be for now," Jamil says, gently tugging Azul along as the girl giggles at Ace and tells him that he doesn't look scary at all.

"I seem to remember you mentioning the name 'Trey' back then,” Azul says as they walk deeper into the booth. “Is he the one who you said might be interested in judging our cooking competition?"

"Oh, right. Yeah. He's pretty reliable. Hardly pokes his nose into other people's business and can generally be relied on as one of the nicer guys in school,” Jamil explains, opening the door to reveal the sprawling greenery of the botanical garden shrouded in fog as decorated headstones and spooky memorabilia scatter throughout the space. Many of the Heartslabyul students are found here, slinking around greeting guests or taking pictures with them.

"You really go all out with your decorations," Azul smiles, looking around.

Jamil sees Trey up ahead, wearing his costume and smiling at a group of visitors while he stamps their booklets. They take a picture with him and thank him before walking away to explore.

"Well, of course,” Jamil says. “None of us plan on losing to the others… Though admittedly, there's no prize for whose booth is the best. It's just bragging rights. And we'll all insist that our respective dorms would have won," Jamil rolls his eyes. "It's so childish. If only we can all agree that Scarabia's is clearly superior."

They leisurely make their walk along the gravestones, each one written with customized inscriptions.

One of them reads:

HERE LIES DUMMY DEUCEY.

CAUSE OF DEATH: HIS OWN CAULDRON TO THE HEAD.

While the tombstone next to it states:

HERE LIES ACE THE MENACE.

CAUSE OF DEATH: TART THEFT.

"Looks like they had fun making the tombstones," Azul says in amusement, looking down at the inscriptions. He looks at Jamil again. "Do I get a prize if I say that Scarabia's booth is superior?"

Jamil snorts before giving Azul a side-hug. "A very pleased boyfriend, that's for certain... Anyway, that's our future cooking judge up ahead." He gestures to Trey and proceeds to make his way over.

Trey quickly notices them and smiles. "Ah. Hey, Jamil. And you must be…" He curiously glances at Azul. "Oh, I recognize you from the committee meetings between RSA and NRC leading up to Halloween. We never properly introduced ourselves before, have we? I'm Trey Clover, Heartslabyul's Vice Prefect. How can I help you?"

"Hello, I'm Azul Ashengrotto," Azul smiles. "A pleasure to meet you. Jamil is just showing me around the booths, and Ace said you're the one to look for if we want to get stamps," he shows the booklet.

"Ah, of course," Trey takes it. "So, Azul, how were the cookies?" he says while stamping the booklet.

"Sorry?" Azul says in confusion.

Trey smiles and hands the booklet back to Azul. "The seashell cookies, that Jamil asked me to help him bake for the Autumn Dance."

"Oh! They were excellent," Azul smiles. "I must say that I'd never seen edible hinges on a pastry before. It's kind of you to help Jamil make them. How did you know they were for me?" he wonders aloud.

"Jamil had never approached me for confectionery help before, and he was determined for it to go well, so I figured it must be for something special. Then Riddle tells me that you were walking around NRC wearing Jamil's blazer. It didn't take much to figure out.” Trey gives Jamil a knowing look.

"AHEM! Thank you, Trey," Jamil mutters, looking away in embarrassment. "There's no point in slyly exposing me at this point. Azul already knows how bad I got it for him."

Azul chuckles, his cheeks turning pink. "I never know how to respond when you say things like that, you know?"

Trey laughs good-naturedly. "Well I'm glad you didn't remain stubbornly secretive about it, Jamil. Look at you being a changed man," he teases.

"What do you mean? Have I always been that obvious?" Jamil asks, flustered. "You don't know. I could've just wanted to give those baked treats to a friend or get myself some favors for leverage down the road..."

"Your only close friends here are Ace, Floyd, and Ruggie, and you don't seem the type to give pastries to each other," Trey says. "And your smile after we baked the cookies was genuinely happy and not at all devious. I could have been reading too much into it," he shrugs, "But then we all saw how you two were dancing at the ball, and that was that.”

Now Jamil wishes he knew more about Trey, just so he could clap back and tease him on his crushes. But he unfortunately doesn't have much to go on. Trey is unsurprisingly a very desirable fellow on campus, even attracting attention from people like Vil and Jade.

"... Fine,” Jamil relents with a sigh. "I guess I was pretty bad at keeping it all under wraps… But it's whatever now, right? How are things going over here?"

"Good, even the freshmen are handling things well enough even when there are a lot of visitors," Trey says.

"Oh, hello," Riddle appears beside Trey and greets all of them, then turns back to Trey. "I'm just reminding you that your break is in an hour."

"Oh," Trey looks at his watch. "Thanks, Riddle," he smiles.

"How are the booths so far?" Riddle asks them.

"They seem to be doing well enough, though I might have to check back on Scarabia later to be sure,” Jamil replies. “But for now, I'm just showing Azul around. We're heading to Diasomnia's next.”

Jamil finds himself squinting at both Riddle and Trey, wondering if there's something between them. They certainly have a stronger bond than the average Prefect and Vice Prefect would have.

"Ah, their decorations are certainly a sight to behold," Riddle says approvingly.

"Maybe you'll run into Yuu and Grim while you're there," Trey says. "They put on some costumes, too."

"All right, I shall go check on the others and make sure that everything is still in order," Riddle says.

"Hey, you should also take a break soon, okay?" Trey says, his tone softening. "You've been working since breakfast."

"I'm fine, Trey," Riddle says. "As Prefect, my residents must always feel assured that I am around if they ever need help."

"They can handle it, you've taught all of them well." Trey isn't backing down.

Riddle purses his lips. "Still, I should be here–"

"If you don't take a break, neither will I," Trey cuts him off, sounding a little playful but looking serious.

Riddle's mouth parts in surprise, but he relents. "Fine. I'll take a small break now, and I'll return when it's your break time, okay?"

"Sounds good," Trey smiles.

Riddle steps closer to Trey and straightens his collar. "There. All that posing for photos seems to have gotten you a little disheveled," he says playfully.

Trey averts his eyes from Riddle's face so close to him and lets out a nervous chuckle, his own face reddening. "Sorry, Prefect."

"Oh stop it, I was joking," Riddle says with a smile. Then he turns to Azul and Jamil. "Enjoy the rest of the booths," he says then walks away.

"Do you bake cookies for him, Trey?" Azul asks mischievously.

"What?" Trey looks caught off-guard. "No, I–" he laughs awkwardly. "Riddle and I are childhood friends. That's it."

"I see. I suppose that makes sense, he was on a date with that Pomefiore bloke earlier, they looked really sweet together."

"What?" Trey frowns. "Who? And when? Riddle hasn't told me anything. Was it Rook? They were probably just talking, Rook can be overly friendly to people and it can look like a date. Was it him? Blond guy, probably with a bow and arrow?"

Azul just smirks wordlessly, and understanding appears on Trey's face.

"Ah. You are dastardly for an RSA student, Azul," Trey wags a finger at him, smiling.

"Seems like it's an NRC trait to be stubbornly secretive," Azul smiles back.

Jamil chuckles at Azul's antics. "Well now… Looks like your baking for Riddle's got its own special motivations, too. Planning on telling him anytime soon?"

Trey laughs nervously, adjusting his glasses. "Well I– I mean– I don't even know where to begin, you know?" he looks at them, then furrows his eyebrows curiously at Jamil. "How did you tell Azul? Such a private guy like you. Or did Azul admit it first?"

Jamil blinks at him. Could Trey be asking for advice?

"I did it in the smoothest way possible," he playfully fibs.

Azul chuckles, smiling fondly at Jamil, but he just watches their exchange and doesn't say anything.

"Really?" Trey raises an eyebrow in amusement and crosses his arms. "And how did you do that? Care to help out an old upperclassman?"

Oh, Jamil's digging himself into a hole here.

"... Well..." Jamil glances at Azul for help and sees that he won't be getting any. "We were talking, and the talking... escalated. I made a move, Azul moved back and… we took off from there."

Trey looks at him for a few moments and smiles. "I'm proud of you, Jamil," he says genuinely, with a hint of wistfulness in his voice.

"If I may," Azul finally speaks. "If you really want to tell Riddle, then simply start by talking to him. You're already close friends so it shouldn't be too difficult."

"I'm not sure how I feel talking about this so out in the open like this," Trey chuckles and looks around shyly at all the visitors roaming their booth. "But… even if we do talk about it… If he doesn't feel the same, then we might end up being awkward around each other. I just don't wanna mess up what we have now, you know? I'm happy where we are."

"And if someone else were to court Riddle and date him?" Azul asks pointedly.

Trey purses his lips. "It'll be Riddle's choice if he wants to date someone else, I won't stop him."

"Then let him know that you're one of the choices," Azul says slowly, as if to emphasize the point. "I realize we've only met today, and I don't want to impose. But from what I've seen, I don't think there's anything you can say to Riddle that would drive him away. Jamil here knows the two of you better, do you agree?" he turns to Jamil.

"Honestly? Yeah," Jamil nods, crossing his arms and dropping the playfulness. "Riddle relies and trusts you a lot. I get how you feel, being unsure about where you both stand… But I think Riddle of all people would appreciate it if you approach him about it honestly… Though I suppose it can't hurt to be extra sure. Have you gathered any information from other Heartslabyuls about how Riddle might feel about you?”

"You make it sound like spywork or something," Trey says shyly, shaking his head. "Uh, our dorm mates like to tease us sometimes, though mostly me when Riddle isn't around. But that doesn't really mean anything."

"You don't know, maybe they noticed something in Riddle too, if they felt confident enough to tease you about it,” Jamil tells him. "You don't have to follow any of my and Azul's thoughts on the matter. In the end, the decision really is up to you. But Riddle's considerably changed since the first few weeks of school. I think you can trust that whatever you tell him, the both of you will be able to talk it out properly without jeopardizing your friendship.”

Trey nods slowly, a thoughtful look on his face, and he gives them a small smile. "Thanks, guys. I'll keep that in mind. I'm gonna get back to work now," he nods at new visitors approaching and walks over to them. The kids stare in awe at his costume and excitedly ask their parents to take their picture with him.

"Weren't… you afraid?" Azul asks Jamil as they make their way out of the booth. "That you might jeopardize our friendship if you had admitted your feelings?"

"I was... but the main reason I hesitated telling you was that I wanted to wait for the right moment to say it, though it was hard to find that with events and issues popping up here and there. What about you?" Jamil asks curiously.

Azul looks ahead as he thinks about it. "I suppose I was more like Trey. I was already happy with what we had, and I was afraid to do anything that might mess it up, even though I wanted more. Wait…" he turns to Jamil in realization. "That moment in the aviary, just before my phone rang, were you about to confess your feelings then?"

Jamil can't help but shyly smile. "I thought the timing felt right then and there, but… well, it didn't work out. So this was all a little late."

Azul smiles fondly and takes Jamil's hand, lacing their fingers together. "You did save my life that day, so I don't mind that the confession was a little late. Especially since you kissed me right after confessing," his tone becomes a bit more playful.

Jamil grins wryly, leading Azul outside of the garden and into the autumn daylight. "It was hard to keep myself away from you once the cat got out of the bag.”

“Dangerous words, Viper.” Azul's eyes glint mischievously.

Jamil chuckles and turns away from Azul's gaze, his face warming. Sevens, the guy could really flirt if he wanted to. That was deeply unfair.

“Speaking of cats,” Jamil pointedly changes the subject as they approach Ramshackle dorm. “How do you feel about a monster that particularly looks like one, but with fire in its ears and a pitchfork for a tail? Hope you're not too freaked out by abnormal creatures…”

Hey, I read the tags on a post and was wondering... what artifacts make Lily and PV's dynamic toxic? If it's about the love potion/love letter there is no confirmation that was something either of them did... there are a lot of artifacts in the museum that are just like. General stuff from the magic school before it fell-- most of the artifacts related to Lily and PV and the ancients specifically are in the history section.

For those of you who don't really care about Cookie Run Kingdom, have a Read More bc this might be a little lengthy lol

So I wanna preface this with a few things:

1.) I haven't finished everything the game has to offer yet! I went through the Tower of Sweet Chaos' story, but I'm actually stuck on Raspberry Cookie in 11-27, so depending on what happens, my opinion could change and I could just look like a fool here lmao

2.) In those tags, current dynamic = Pure Vanilla and Dark Enchantress (who's also White Lily)'s dynamic I don't dislike the purelily ship or look down on anyone who does. I actually really fascinated by their history, haha. But personally, my heart's not set on shipping them in their current state because uhh... as far as I know, Dark Enchantress is currently trying to kill Pure Vanilla atm.

That said, lemme spill some of my thoughts on the relics here bc I've actually been wanting to talk about them since I discovered them:

You're right in that there's no concrete evidence that these relics were theirs. No one knows for sure except the writers themselves. But on the flipside, there's also a concerning amount of detail that suggests it being a very real possibility that I haven't seen debunked yet.

One of the biggest concerns is how the Nameless Transcript is within this set of relics. It's titled as "Nameless", but it's strongly hinted that it's White Lily's, which makes you wonder if this set of relics is partially themed after her.

The other relic within the set that's also worth noting is the Lost Portrait. It's not as big of a concern as the Nameless Transcript, but it does solidify that at least several items in this set are themed after White Lily, since this specific portrait was a pivotal item in her backstory.

That aside, let's talk about the relics in question themselves, because those two have some interesting things going on as well.

Starting with Someone's Love Letter, this relic honestly feels like a direct parallel to Pure Vanilla's letter.

Thematically, this makes sense; the set of relics this letter's in is clearly themed after Pure Vanilla while the Love Letter's relic set is hinted to be themed after White Lily, and romantically or not, these two really loved each other at one point in their lives, friends or otherwise. But the thing is, Pure Vanilla always had a strong sense of morals, so it's highly doubtful he wrote the love letter, themes aside.

White Lily, on the other hand, was always shown to have good intentions, but highly questionable morals. She doesn't mind violating any rule she has to to get what she wants, as long as the end justifies the means (i.e sneaking into several forbidden areas of the academy, suggesting taking a piece of the 1st headmaster's soul, etc.).

But the idea of her making a love potion just to get Pure Vanilla's affection sounds way too sinister for White Lily, because despite all the damages she's caused, her intentions are still shown to be good-natured. Also, Devsis makes a conscious effort to make sure the relics match whatever subject they want to associate it with, and the love potion's aesthetic is vastly different from White Lily's design.

But remember that White Lily is also Dark Enchantress. The Tower of Sweet Chaos' story showed that Dark Enchantress isn't just White Lily possessed, brainwashed, or anything like that. She IS Dark Enchantress. Once she was out of the oven, she made a conscious decision to be who she wanted to be, which means the side of her that's Dark Enchantress has always existed within her, even back when she was White Lily. And what does Dark Enchantress look like?

Colors: Check Heart theme: Check (staff) Love theme: Check (Dark "Enchantress")

If this is all true, does it paint a real ugly picture regarding White Lily and Pure Vanilla's relationship? Yeah. Do I actually believe White Lily would actually do something like this though? Also yes. Depending on what the reason is and given her past actions, I don't think it'd be above her at this point.

I will say though; her motivations are usually well-intended, so it doesn't feel right to assume she'd do something like this out of pure whim. I don't know what that motivation is, but I'd like to believe that White Lily wouldn't do this anything like this without a good reason. My personal theory is that she either bought or made the potion herself, but not for sinister reasons.

Of course, I could be wrong about everything and those relics could really belong to some rando cookies lol. But when I say I can't bring myself to ship them much, this is kinda why :')
