Dick : Jasons been more, relaxed lately. It's unsettling.
Tim : Yeah, I've started spiking his water with mood stabilizers.
Dick : What
Tim : I've been thinking of doing it to the wider gotham water supply. Think about the crime rates.

My main issue with all of the live action Batman suits is that they don't have enough cape. They always put the cape, like, behind his shoulders and never let it fully envelop him. Bro needs to be 90% cape.

(Batman accidentally becomes widely known as a gay icon in the criminal underground)

Head canon:
Hero's have adapted their suits to help them. They have extra back stabilization cus of a back injury, built in braces for their knees, elbow or wrists etc. This means they can't just take off their suits and trade them cus they're custom made for each hero.

Bruce: Dick lost his parents at the same age I did. I saw that he was like me and I had to help. Jason had so much spirit he made me laugh on the anniversary of my parent's death. Tim and Duke both think like detectives, it comes naturally to them and every time we work together I see more of myself in them, but lighter somehow. And Damian carries some of the best parts of both Talia and myself in every breath he takes.
Bruce: And Cassandra... well the first time we met Cassie tried to kill herself and then she went to fight Two Face alone, won, and dedicated herself completely body and soul to help protect every life in Gotham and every life in the world outside it even if it meant running headlong into bullets to stop two criminals from shooting themselves.
Bruce: I believe the kids these days call it "Matching each other's freak." The adoption papers would have been ready the next day if her father wasn't still alive at the time.

bouncing off my last post, obviously none of the waynes would want to attend the met gala. so, i think they have a yearly betting or competition (different every year), and the loser has to attend.
they go the whole nine yards. expensive designers, over the top costumes. if they're going, they're going all out. they're all just waiting for the year that the theme will warrant sending one lucky family member in a bedazzled batman suit.
back home they play the night as a bingo game. they spend weeks curating a custom bingo sheet that best fits how they believe the 'chosen one' is going to act, and use it as they watch the event live. but as the kids get older (by the time tim is 16ish), it morphs into a drinking game as well, in 'take a shot when (family member) does _____' format, for the younger kids the shot is some disgusting exotic fruit juice that hits just as badly as what the older kids have.
the longer the tradition goes on, the more friends/co-workers/partners get roped into it. (they also start to send a +1 with the wayne kid, so they can involve everyone, but still get the same media attention their games require).
bruce opts himself out of the whole thing by the time all members of his kids respective teams (+ diana and clark) are over at the manor once a year to participate.
it becomes frankly disturbing how involved everyone gets, and how freakily vigilant of the media they all become in the days after the event (keeping in mind typically NONE of them, even the external participants who aren't in the wayne family, are active on social media whatsoever.)

hc that one thing everyone in the batfamily knows without doubt is: alfred knows everything. hidding anything from alfred is a waste of time and energy, because he always just knows. so they simply don’t. they dont need to tell him, but they dont need to hide it, he always knows anyways.
however, the thing is alfred is just a regular old man who spends all of his time cleaning, cooking and making sure they dont die. he doesnt have time to be figuring out what the bat ninjas he has for a family is hidding so most often than not he doesnt know. it doesnt help that no one in the family ever tells him anything, because they expect him to just know. he just has a really really good poker face and an inability to be surprised by much so everyone just assumes he already knew once he discovers anything.
