It wasn't really noticeable at first, but after throwing away your second bottle in three months, you began to get suspicious.

The colonge you wore was strong, so it wasn't like you had to spray it a whole bunch of times to get it to stick. Just in the morning when you woke up and after PE.

You knew you weren't doing it any more than that, so where the hell did it all go?

You sighed. You were too tired for this. Morning classes had been currently kicking your ass. Well, they had always been kicking your ass, but it's been worse these past few days.

Grim was being a little shit. That bit hadn't changed, although according to Ace, Grim actually actually acts worse whenever you step out of the room. So Grim was somewhat saving you from annoyance at 8am and a headache. Small mercies.

Oh yeah.

Speaking of Ace. He'd been acting weird lately.

it wasn't strange for Ace, or any of the first years really, to spend the night at Ramshackle. Showing up in your dorm and staying there like a particularly determined cockroach seemed to be your dumbass friends first reaction to any real minor inconvenience.

All in all, you were pretty used to waking up from one of your weird ass dreams about that one time you and your friend ate an entire Little Cesear's pizza in a church parking lot at the crackhead hours of the night, only to sit up and find someone duct taped to your wall, perfectly pasted out. While the perpetrators were peacefully sleeping on the floor under them. Curled up with one of the spare blankets that you keep laid out for this exact reason.

Or they're, you know, under your bed.

So Ace being there? not suprising.

Ace being there alone, without at least Deuce there to babysit his ginger ass? Weird, but bound to happen sooner or later.

But Ace being there almost every day? Even after Riddle himself came knocking on your door once to drag him back to Heartslabyul? Yeah. No sorry, something was up.

Your mind races as it tried to come up with possibility after possibility, only to wind up with answers that didn't hold much substance to them, and could easily be disproved.

Riddle was being more overbearing lately?

Nah, if he was then deuce would've mentioned it. Also, you can't remember Ace showing up on your doorstep wearing an iconic heart-shaped collar recently. So that was a no.

Ace finally got fed up with all the weird noises Deuce makes in his sleep?

Possibly. But Deuce had spent the night over at Ramshackle just last week, and Ace made no obvious signs that he was having trouble sleeping right through the absolute wild shit Deuce was saying while unconscious.

Your eyes immediately darted towards Grim and the ghosts.

So, with a little too much resolve, you took a deep breath and buried your face in your gloved hands as you sighed.

You could feel yourself sink down into the couch that took you what felt like forever to build. Oh yeah, and overpriced fabric you bought at the school store. Can't forget about that.

The fire crackled and Grim stopped his argument with the ghosts to look at you as you ran your fingers through your hair. Whoops.

You looked over at them with a face that you just knew showed exactly how tired you were with this.

Don't get the wrong idea here. Ace was certainly a handful but he wasn't really exhausting, he was quite the pleasure to be around actually.

You don't know why you started thinking so hard about this. Maybe because exams were coming up and you needed a distraction.

Listen. Ace didn’t mean for any of this to happen. It just did and he doesn't know why.

He thinks it started when he woke up at Ramshackle after he stayed over dor the weekend and realized he forgot to bring his uniform shirt.

Ace was getting a little creeped out at this point.

Then Jack of all people came up to him, sniffed the air like the dog he was, and nodded approvingly before walking away.

Ok. What the hell is going on?

He knew damn well he didn't wear sandalwood. And although the compliments were nice, save for the occasional passive aggressive ones from some upperclassmen with a stick up their ass, he still didn't know what to do with them.

So he did the only thing he could think of, and went to a mostly private area and started smelling his clothes like a weirdo.

Waistcoat, blazer, tie, they were all fine.

His shirt however, was what made him pause.

Oh yeah. This wasn't his.

If he stayed there for a minute longer with his friends shirt up against his nose like some sort of serial killer, then that was between him and the seven.

No one else needed to know.

True to his silent promise, he put in the request to riddle to saty another night at Ramshackle and all but ran over there.

He needed to return this ASAP.

But when he actually gets to your little run down dorm, he immediately stumbles on what to do. He didn't bring another shirt with him, so he would be taking your clothes either way.

Ace briefly considers turning back.

Ace then remembers its almost curfew and he'd have to face the wrath of one riddle rosehearts if he actually went back to the dorm.

Deuce can cover for him.

He better cover for him or ace was gonna snitch on him for eating an entire tart after he smoked weed with that epel kid.

Oh look, more blackmail! Nice.

And so, mind officially made up, he walked (strutted) up to the front door and knocked on it three times.

Inside, he could he the who knows how old staircase creak as you rushed down, and he could smell the savory scent of those weird sandwich things that you liked cooking.

"You don't know what a taco is?")

Ace could feel himself smile.

Yeah, he made the right choice coming here.

The door swung open and that belief solidified.

That food smelled glorious.

Ace swears, whoever invented those taco sandwich thing is a damn genius.

And you looked ok he guessed.

You were still in your school pants, always eing a little too lazy to switch those out for regular ones when the last bell rang, but you did replace your shirt and blazer with a soft, expensive looking sweater that probably came from Crewel.

Crewel had taken pity on you in the first week of school and agreed to tutor you after class. And then you ended up teaching him about one of your friends dogs, whose specific breed didn't exist here.

From that point on, it was pretty clear that everyone's number one nightmare teacher had a favorite. Although you swore up and down you never got any special treatment.

Ace looked at the sweater again.

Yeah. Ok yuu. Ok.

You gave a little lazy smile and waved him in, not bothering to make sure he followed as you made your way towards the kitchens.

Judging from the lack of noise in there, Grim not included, you were alone tonight, which Ace could only sigh in relief about.

Sometimes, at least once a week, he would see Jade and Ruggie either walking around the dorm one second and then somehow seeing him in the kitchen the next (Jade), or rummaging through your spice drawer as you pretended not to notice the few extra jars of chili powder that mysteriously went missing afterwards (Ruggie).

He never knew why you never stopped him. You had less money than he did for sevens sake!

Ace never dared to ask these questions to you out loud though, just accepted that you were disgustingly nice and moved on with his day.

Now, he was grateful that you were so disgustingly nice, because this food was amazing.

There were plates and bowls in the middle of the table, all filled with some type of food.

A big plate of tacos that were stuffed to the brim with different kinds of meats and vegetables and cheese.

A bowl of tomato rice, which ace watched grim barely hold back from lunging at.

A bowl of mashed beans with melted cheese on top, which ace didn't touch, he was sure they were good! But he just didn't eat them that night.

And all kinds of other foods that he didn't try to pronounce. It was in some language that the schools translation spell didn't work on.

Aces plate was loaded, and you sat right across from him, Grim eating on the other side of the table. The room was warm. Everything smelled nice. He could see the garden you and Jack were attempting to grow just outside the window that was once broken in.

It all felt so...nice.

He think this is where it started.

Because you never did get that shirt back.

Ace knows what's going on. It took him a minute to come to terms with the fact that you were a boy, the fact he liked boys, but he knew what was going on.

He'd had a girlfriend once, he knew what he was feeling.

And he didn't know what to do with it.

Ace didn't want romance right now. He wanted to run wild, as wild as he could with Riddle around every corner. He wanted to pull pranks, he wanted to puss off deuce, he wanted to learn how to use his magic, and he wanted to make friends.

He wanted you to be friends. You don't even have a guaranteed time left here. So why, why was he catching feelings?

...it fine. It's all fine. He can shove this down and ignore it.

He tells himself he'll just ignore it.

Ignore it while he sleeps just beside your bed.

Ignore it while you (even rarely) get to have dinner alone.

Ignore it while he steals a sweater or two, sweaters you didn't get from Crewel.

Ignore it while he riffles in your drawers looking for that bottle of cologne that got him so many compliments, the cologne that you also wore.

...Ace sighed.

He really sucked at lying to himself like this.

Jacks not scarred, he might sleep with his favorite plushie but he’s not scarred. He will lie awake and wonder why anyone would think that would be okay for children to watch- questions your sanity because you seemed to know every episode by heart. But he’s good.

Meanwhile Ortho is trying to convince Idia to make a computer like the one in the attic Courage had.

The next morning, Yuu has a hunch that the others faired just as well as Grim, but all of them are adamant that that's not the case.

Just to be a little bit of an asshole, later that day they go, "I don't...feel like...myself..." and and Ace notices there's some string around their wrist. Deuce puts a hand on their arm and their hand falls off with a distinct wooden, thump. Suddenly the echo of the villain from the show echoed through the hall and the boys got the fuck out of there, screaming all the while.

Yuu laughed as their real hand popped out of their sleeve and picked the fake wooden one. (The had put a uniform glove over it so they wouldn't notice.) Meanwhile Rook popped out of where he was hiding. Yuu had enlisted him for the prank since he sounded the closest to the episodes villain.

"I must say, I enjoy this devious side of you."

But it was at closing time, the boys waited for you behind the doors, when they stuck their heads to try to find you and let you know that they were waiting for you, when they saw Jade himself kiss you on the forehead.

The poor boys thought he was going to sink his teeth into you.

At first, Jack, Ace, and Deuce thought about interrupting the scene, but a murderous glare from Jade himself stopped them in their tracks.

From that day on, they are extremely careful to commit any inappropriate or overdone action for fear this eel will come out and tear them to shreds.

With their small neuron, they thought that they could use Jade's relationship with you to get a little profit, perhaps in a fight with other students or by uniting Azul to do them a favor.

Bad move.

In short, as long as you are okay with that huge eel, they are okay ... and scared. Please talk to your partner so they don't keep giving them that killer look.

Trey

What better way to find out that you are in a relationship with their vice leader, than to walk into the kitchen on a Friday night and find you both cuddling on the kitchen counter? Apart from being cooking, knows the great seven what.

So yeah. Ace and Deuce wanted to eat a piece of the strawberry cake that Trey had cooked a couple of hours ago and find that honeyed scene right before their eyes.

Epel, Sebek and Jack literally didn't care if you were dating Heartslabyul's chef… but if you happened to coerce him into giving you three extra lunch boxes, they would really appreciate it.

More than anything Sebek. He wouldn't give his face to ask him directly, so it's your job to be a carrier pigeon.

Epel even showed you an apple pie recipe to impress Trey. If you know how to cook, great; if not ... good luck XD.

While Trey is a master chef, some days the kitchen ends up being a disaster.

You may hear tease after tease from ADeuce for the first few days, but I assure you that would end soon.

Trey is a vice dorm leader, their vice dorm leader, they're playing with fire and they're really naive if they think it's not going to bring repercussions ... more if Trey ends up involving Riddle.

Riddle may not be that much aware of this relationship either, but nothing like a white lie to slaughter that pair of freshmen.

• got their other two roommates to participate in pranking Deuce

• set the room clock 3 hours later than usual

• while the two roommates were "busy preparing for the school day" at 2 am, Ace flicks open the lights and starts turning them on and off and shouts "OI DEUCE WAKE UP, WE'RE LATE"

• he finally yeets a pillow at Deuce's face to wake him up

Deuce Spade - pranked

• a very confused Deuce wakes up, sees that the three of them are already dressed, looks at the clock, and panic dresses himself

• "wheresmyhomeworkwheresmyhomework-"

• only when he runs out in the rose garden does he finally see that, it's still nighttime, no he isn't late, and yes, his sleep was ruined

• trudges back to the dorm room where he finds them all cracking up

• he chucks a pillow at Ace before promptly flopping back on his bed

• he doesn't change his expression when he hands back the teacup

Riddle Rosehearts - pranked

• Riddle sips the warm tea and feels something solid touching his lips

• he looks down

• immediately drops the teacup starts screaming there's a fucking cockroach in the teacup

• he realizes that Cater is doubled over laughing so he takes the opportunity to whoop Cater's head before storming off

• he double checks the chocolate chips bag to ensure that they were not replaced with chocolate covered raisins like what Che'nya did last year

• takes out the ingredients necessary for the cookies and starts to mix the ingredients

• the process is going fine until he cracks an egg

• there's no liquid yolk pouring out

• he looks at the insides and finds that the egg has been fully hardboiled

• "... I should've known better," he sighs

• but when he shakes the package and heard nothing he immediately thinks it is sus AF

• he glares at Ruggie, but even Ruggie doesn't appear to know anything

• he tears the wrapper, opens the box, and reads the words written ddirectly at the bottom: when will I get paid :(

• he started with Azul, sneaking in Azul's bedroom (with the latter still asleep) and replacing Azul's glasses with glasses with lens he colored in black marker

• next, while Jade is in the bathroom, he replaces Jade's usual school tie with one that shifts colour and pattern every hour or so (now, it currently looks like the regular school tie)

• set up buckets full of water in the first year classrooms (Epel was dowsed in one, Sebek too, the last being Grim)

• handed Divus a blank assignment (written in invisible ink), but before Divus can even scold him, he passes the paper near a fire where the answers finally appear where Divus takes it with a huff

Azul Ashengrotto - pranked

• he wakes up and puts on his glasses by the bedside table

• how come he can't see

• it takes his sort of sleepy self two minutes to put two and two together

• instantly groans, knowing that Floyd definitely has his real glasses

Jade Leech - pranked

• he puts on his tie as he normally would and walks out the room

• when Ruggie asks him why his tie looked so funky in the middle of the day, he takes it off and finds that it has a silly banana pattern

Jamil Viper - prankster

• he started with Kalim and the cocount juice

• knew full well that the seats were full of whoopee cushions and avoids sitting on all of them

• managed to trick Grim that he had tuna cans and when he gave Grim one, he excused himself that he had somewhere to go

• he watches hidden behind a pillar as Grim opens the tuna can and finds nothing but sand inside

• has to kick himself to stop his laughter from seeing Grim's disappointed face

• he was going to prank both Vil and Epel, but after hearing how the latter was dowsed in water for first period, decides to just prank Vil

• slaps cake icing inside an empty and expensive lotion bottle and wraps it with a ribbon

• he runs to Vil in the dormitory after classes and says it was left near his doorstep so tue sender must've mixed the rooms up

• unfortunately, Vil's door is closed on him

Vil Schoenheit - pranked

• after deciding not to scold Epel with the water fiasco, he takes the lotion bottle from Rook and takes it to his room, not seeing the "and I oop" face

• he squirts out a small amount of lotion on his palm and finds that it smells... weirdly fruity

• suspicious now, he rubs it with his palms and (despite all what he knew about beauty products) licks a tiny bit of it to confirm what it was

• blueberry icing

• "... well, it could have been worse."

• ends up tripping where he uses his hands to break the fall and realizes what a big mistake he's made with his sticky palms

Epel Felmier - pranked (can we get an F)

• as soon as he feels his clothes get wet and the bucket land on his head, he knew he was fucked for the whole day and goes through classes with a sheepish expression

Malleus Draconia - pranked

• that music is straight up panic inducing and hurries to find it

• ends up finding it half an hour and yeets it out the window because he can't turn it off

• he's annoyed but goes back to sleep

• is huffy that he can't have coffee

• promptly confused why Silver is brought to him near lunch break until he sees what's at Silver's blazer at the back

Sebek Zigvolt - pranked

• additional strength from the cake you say? THE BETTER TO SERVE WAKA-SAMA

• does not see the already facepalming Silver preparing the morning coffee

• takes a mouthful of it and starts chewing it before realizing something was not right

What if you played Truth or Dare? (Ft. Grim, Ace, Deuce, Sebek, Jack and Epel) (Riddle, Vil, Lilia and Ruggie are mentioned)

“Fgnaaaaa (Y/N), I’m bored.” Grim said while laying on your lap. You and him were doing your homework in your dorm.

“I know, but, when we finish, we can go out and meet up with the others. I’ll even throw in a can of tuna or two. How does that sound?” You said, trying to coax the furball into doing his homework.

“When you put it that way!! Fgnaaaa!” And the furball was more excited to do his work. You gave him a head pat and continued on your own work.

After about an hour or two, you two had finished your homework. You sighed and closed your book, you turned to see Grim dozing off to dreamland. You shook your head, giggling and gently nudged him awake.

“Come on you furball, it’s almost time to get dinner, we don’t want the others to worry about us right?” You said, picking Grim up and placing him on your head. Grim yawned a little before going to sleep on your head.

You had a nice little walk to the crowded cafeteria, when you arrived, you saw your friends sitting at a table not far from you. They were chatting with smiles on their faces while you went and grabbed yours and Grim’s food. After doing so, you went over to the table where your friends were sitting and sat yourself down.

“(Y/N)!!” The others called for you and you just shushed them. They were puzzled until you pointed to the sleeping furball on top of your head. They looked at each other before nodding and snickering. You smiled and slowly set the sleeping furball down on your lap and took a bite out of your dinner.

“So, how is everyone doing?” You asked your friends and multiple groans were heard.

“Riddle made me feed the flamingos wearing pink again today!!” Ace said with a sigh.

“I had to change the color of roses in the garden to white for the whole day.” Deuce said, taking a sip out of his drink.

“Ruggie-senpai dragged me around the whole school looking for Leona-senpai… Turns out he was sleeping in a tree at Main Street. I wasted a whole afternoon doing that.” Jack said.

“Hah! You guys don’t even know what is true hardship. Vil and Rook taught me on ‘fine dinning’ and ‘proper table manners’ the whole day! I don’t get it! IT’S FOOD SO YOU SHOULD JUST EAT IT.” Epel said, the last part in anger. You patted him gently as a gesture to calm him down.

“Malleus-sama was nowhere to be found when school ended, so me and that stupid Silver spent the entire day searching for him. We could’ve been done earlier if that human wasn’t so slow. I can’t believe he can let Malleus-sama out of his sight!” Sebek said.

“Ehh? Didn’t you also let Malleus-senpai out of your sight?” Epel asked the Diasomnia first year. The latter froze a little.

“N-No. Malleus-sama’s class wasn’t near mine at all today. It’s clearly that human’s fault.” Sebek said.

“Sebek, I’m sure Silver-senpai didn’t mean it. It’s just that Tsu- I mean, Malleus-sama likes taking walks around the school without anyone knowing, right?” You said, in hopes of calming down your friend.

“Hmm… Maybe you’re right, but still-” Sebek tried to argue but you cut him off.

“Sebek, it’s alright, mistakes happen all the time, let it go.” You said and sent a smile to him.

“A-Alright.” Sebek said, going back to his meal.

“You know what? Since you all had such a terrible day, let’s do something after dinner to clear your minds of it!” You suggested to your friends, their eyes lit up after you’ve said so.

“Yea!! But, what should we do?” Ace asked.

“How about a game?” Deuce said.

“What game?” Jack immediately asked. The 6 of you were brainstorming until Epel decided to speak up.

“How about Truth or Dare?” The Pomefiore first year piped up. You all took looks at each other before nodding.

“Sounds fun!” Ace said with a smirk.

“I’m in.” Deuce said, taking a bite out of his dinner.

“W-Well, it is just a game… I guess I’ll join since I have nothing better to do.” Jack said, his ears drooping slightly.

Alas, the only one who didn’t give a response was Sebek. So, you, Ace and Epel looked at him with the most adorable puppy eyes the 3 of you could muster. Jack was slightly confused but he has a gist of what you all were trying to do. Sebek looked at the 3 of you, his face slightly paling.

“W-Wha-“ Poor Sebek couldn’t even finish asking before you cut him off.

“Join our game Sebek!” You pleaded.

“It’ll be fun! We promise!” Ace continued after you. After the two of you had said this, you, Ace and Epel bombarded Sebek with the word ‘please’ over and over again.

“F-FINE! STOP YOUR PLEADING!” Sebek said, finally caving in to you, Ace and Epel’s chants of ‘please’. The three of you high fived each other and did a little cheer. Your cheering just so happened to wake Grim up from his nap.

“Fgnaaaaa…. What’s wrong with you people? Can’t you let a monster like me take a good nap for once?” Grim said as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. You giggled and petted Grim.

“Sorry Grim, but we were just excited! We’re playing truth or dare later.” You said, running your fingers through the creature as if you were to groom him.

“Truth or Dare? What’s that?” Grim asked you. You let out a small gasp.

“Grim… You… You don’t know what’s Truth or Dare?” You asked back the creature. He looked at you tiredly and shook his head.

“It’s like, the most common game ever to play with friends! You must’ve heard of it before!” Ace said to the furball.

“No, I have never heard of such game.” Grim replied the orange-haired student with a yawn.

“Well, you can see us play around before joining in later.” You said, handing him a can of tuna. “I remember owing you this.” The furball’s eyes lit up with sparkles.

“Fgnaaaaaaa!! Yes!!!!” Grim did a little happy dance and started to work his way into the can.

“So, where are we going to play later?” Sebek asked you all.

“Not Heartslabyul.” Ace said. “I cannot imagine enjoying the game with Riddle there.”

“Not Savanaclaw either. We can’t have a peaceful moment to ourselves there.” Jack said, shaking his head.

“Definitely not Pomefiore, unless you want our game session to turn into a makeover session.” Epel added on.

“Diasomnia isn’t the best option either. I’m pretty sure Lilia-senpai would interrupt us constantly.” Said Sebek.

“Well, I guess that just leaves my dorm right?” You said, laughing a little. “Then it’s settled then! We’ll have a small game session at Ramshackle Dorm. Now, hurry up and finish your dinner guys.” You ordered the boys as you finished your own dinner.

When they did, you all walked back to your dorm together, along the way, you guys had a nice little chat about what Professor Trein’s homework and how Lucius has a big influence on the class. The cat couldn’t help but meow at the end of each of the professor’s sentence. Ace even made fun of Deuce who meowed along once because he was half asleep then. When Deuce tried to defend himself by saying it was actually Lucius who made the sound and not him, Ace fired back at him saying that he was literally looking at him while he made the sound. Poor Deuce immediately turned red as the rest of you laughed. It’s okay, you comforted him after laughing for almost a minute.

Soon after, you arrived at your humble Ramshackle Dorm. You let everyone into the lounge and you guys started to discuss about the game that you were going to play. You guys decided to draw sticks to see who will go first. In the end, you had drawn the longest stick therefore you would start the game first.

“Alright then, let’s begin! Epel, truth or dare?” You asked your first victim and so the madness had begun.

After a few rounds of Truth or Dare, you had ended up with Epel being punished to wear a pink dress and his hair was in an up-do. Ace and Deuce had been punished to switch places, their personalities, the marks on their eyes and even their clothes had been switched. Jack was dared to have makeup on his face, from mascara to lipstick, you name it, beauty products littered everywhere on his face, his tail was in a big braid as a dare. Sebek’s whole body was covered in glitter, everytime he moved, glitter would flutter off from his body, he was also punished to speak in hushed tones.

Yeah, let that sink in.

And for you, you just had to be in an uncomfortable pose. You were feeling pretty sore too, who would’ve thought you would have to do the game standing up with only one leg supporting you while one of your hands were stuck to your waist and the other on top of your head. This was a dare made by Sebek out of all people, and you can only leave the pose when someone else calls out your name. So, yeah, you were ABSOLUTELY SORE.

“I think I know how to play this game now!!” Grim suddenly yelled out.

“Final- I mean, good for you Grim! I have to be nice to everyone if I want to be an honor student!” Ace said to Grim, mocking Deuce who was clearly irked by this.

“Fgnaaaaaa! Why wouldn’t I know how to play? I am The Great Grim after all!!” Grim laughed out.

“Well, I guess you should get a turn, go on then, pick a student and ask them Truth or Dare.” Epel said.

“Hmmm… (Y/N) then!” Grim looked at you and you finally collapsed onto the ground.

“Thank you Gri-“ You were cut off by the furball.

“Truth, or Dare?” You looked at him with widen eyes.

“Hmm… I’m never doing dare again… So, truth!” You said, not moving from your position at all because you were too tired.

“Alright, Truth eh?” Grim said, putting a paw underneath his chin to make it look like he’s thinking of something. After a few seconds of ‘thinking’ the furball had come up with the question.

“I got it!!” Grim yelled. “Who do you have a crush on in this school?” Everybody froze.

Grim, no, you just… You just started a war.

“Hey! How about I switch okay? I choose Dare instead!!” You frantically yelled out.

But Grim already made up his mind.

“Alright then, I dare you to tell us your crush.” Grim said to you and your eye twitched. You got to hand it to the furball, that was one smart move.

“Argh! NO! I won’t say anything!” You said, crossing your arms and turning away from your friends.

“Hey! You didn’t let me do anything else than wear this stupid dress!” Epel argued with you.

“Guys, guys, no. If (Y/N) is acting so defensive, it must mean she has a crush.” Ace said. The boys looked at you while you slowly shrunk yourself.

“(Y/N), it is a dare.” Jack barely said for his face was too heavy with the amount of makeup on.

“Yeah (Y/N) come on, tell us! I as the troublemaker need to know because I’m dumb!” Deuce said, mocking Ace.

Truth be told, the boys treated each other like enemies when Grim asked the question as they each wanted to be your ‘crush’, they knew that everyone had spent their fair share of time with you and you must have a favorite, right?

So, with what Deuce had said, it seemed like a direct attack to Ace. And let me tell you, Ace was not happy at all.

“HEY! I HAVE BETTER GRADES THAN YOU!” Ace fired back to his dorm mate.

“SO?! IT’S NOT LIKE YOU’RE SMART IN YOUR EVERYDAY CHOICES!”  Deuce yelled back.

“GUYS STOP.” Sebek said, getting in between them.

“Fine! Just because I don’t want to be covered in glitter as well.” Ace said.

“Hmph! Me neither!” Deuce said.

“Wait… Where’s (Y/N)?” Epel asked out. Everyone turned to where you sat only to find air there.

You see, while everyone was busy watching/stopping the fight between Ace and Deuce, you had sneakily taken off and ran straight for your dorm’s front door.

“(Y/N)!!! YOU CAN’T ESCAPE!!” Epel yelled as he and the others started to run after you.

“NO! FREEDOM IS NEAR!” You yelled and opened the door and ran out of it. As you just left your dorm’s front yard, you saw the boys were already on their way chasing after you. Grim was also with them but he had a spot on Deuce’s shoulder.

So, you ran, with a bunch of ridiculously looking boys on your tail.

“Guys, we should circle her instead, so, split up!” Sebek told his friends. The others nodded and branched off. You turned your head to see only Sebek running at you at full speed. You gulped slightly before picking up your pace.

“(Y/N)! This could’ve been easier if you’ve just did the dare!” Sebek yelled at you.

“Over my dead body!!” You shouted back and took a sharp left at the end of a hallway, leading you to Main Street.

But when you arrived, you saw something pink slowly walking towards you. You widen your eyes as you realized that it was Epel in front of you. You turned your head to the left to find Jack slowly approaching you from that side. Your right was being approached by the two Heartslabyul boys so escaping from there isn’t an option. You also felt a presence behind you and you already knew who it was.

And with that, you were trapped. Escape was impossible then.

Or so you thought.

“Now, (Y/N), be a good little student who accepted a dare and tell us…” Ace said smugly.

“Yeah, no backing out (Y/N).” Deuce continued. You were overwhelmed.

“F-Fine! I’ll talk, I’ll talk!” You said, covering your blushing. The boys all thought you looked adorable in that state. Could you blame them? You were looking all flustered and red and adorable while hiding her blushing face. Nothing could stop them from blushing slightly as well.

“Okay…” You said, taking a deep breath. The boys leaned in to you, wanting to hear more of your slightly trembling voice.

“My crush is-“

Ah, you were cut off. By a few voices actually.

“ACE! DEUCE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IS IT?!”

“EPEL! IS THAT YOU?! WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE EVIL QUEEN ARE YOU WEARING?!”

“Jack!! I need your help back at Savanaclaw!! Leona isn’t helping me!!”

“My oh my, if it isn’t Sebek, you know, Malleus would be disappointed.”

Yes, two dorm leaders and two vice dorm leaders were slowly walking to your group.

“Dorm Leader Rosehearts!” Ace and Deuce yelled to a red-looking Riddle.

“You two! It’s already curfew! If you don’t get back to your dorm in the next five minutes… IT’S OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!!” Ace and Deuce’s eyes widen and ran at full speed to their dorm.

“Bye (Y/N)!! We’ll see you tomorrow!!” Ace and Deuce said as they ran back to Heartslabyul with Riddle following behind them, but of course Riddle walked slowly instead.

“EPEL!!!” Vil had yelled for his first-year. Epel let out a small groan before turning to look at Vil.

“What?” Your friend responded to his dorm leader.

“What in tarnation are you wearing?!” Vil questioned.

“Are you blind? It’s a dress.” Epel said with a straight face.

“Don’t make me slap you again. Come, we must go back to Pomefiore and get you out of this horrible outfit.” Vil said and dragged Epel away.

“I’ll see you tomorrow (Y/N).” Epel managed to say while being dragged back to his dorm by Vil.

“Jack! Didn’t you hear what I said?!” Ruggie was approaching Jack. “I told you that- HAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT’S GOING ON WITH YOUR FACE?!?!” Ruggie couldn’t help himself as he turned Jack around only to be greeted with a makeup filled face.

“Yeah, yeah, you need my help right? Let’s just go now.” Jack said, dragging a laughing hyena upperclassman with him. “Bye (Y/N).” Said the wolf to you.

“My… Sebek… What a sight to see you like this.” Sebek froze for a good few seconds before turning around.

“Lilia-sama…” Sebek muttered in a low tone.

“I wonder how Malleus would react to this.” Lilia said and Sebek’s eyes widen.

“N-NO, MALLEUS-SAMA MUSN’T KNOW!” Sebek yelled.

“Then, I suggest you better hurry back to your dorm before he catches you.” Said Lilia with a small smirk on his face.

“We will meet again tomorrow (Y/N)!” Sebek said before rushing back to his dorm.

“Bye (Y/N)~” Lilia said to you before going back to his dorm himself.

After everyone were gone, you let out a breath you didn’t even knew you were holding.

“Fgnaaaaa… I only played one round though.” Grim said, as he plomped himself on your shoulder.

“I think one round is enough for you.” You said and started to walk back to Ramshackle Dorm.

“But seriously (Y/N), who is your crush?” Grim asked with curiosity.

“I don’t need a crush, I have you after all.” You said to Grim, patting his head.

“But but!” Grim asked further.

“No buts, either you stop asking about my crush or you don’t get to have tuna for the next few days.” You said with a stern tone.

“Fine…” Grim said and the two of you slowly made your way back to Ramshackle Dorm.

what was once a little innocent crush he could easily ignore grew into an obsession that got in the way of every single day of his life. he can't get his darling out of his mind; it's quite literally a mental block

whenever he sees his darling fooling around with that idiotic duo, his blood boils in jealousy. he'll always step in whenever he can- don't they have anything better to do? if they have time to fool around then why aren't they studying? he'll try to disperse the trio every time, to calm down the rage in his heart

ace and deuce will find themselves being treated specially strictly by riddle. it's off with their heads more often than not; riddle will find any minuscule thing to punish them and get them away from his darling. at the same time, he'll constantly tell his darling to stop hanging around them: they're bad influences! he'll constantly tell his darling she could be a perfect heartslabyul student, if only she hung out with better students: say, him for example

riddle won't kill ace and deuce, even if they're making him jealous out of his mind, but he'll make them misserable. off with their head, paint the roses red, banned from entering the dorm, punished- the harsh treatment would innevitably make them stay away from riddle's darling, the two making the connection that riddle was at his worst whenever they hung out with her

riddle will "comfort" his darling over the loss of her two close friends. did ace and deuce distance themselves from her? see, he told her those two were no good! he'll keep his darling closer than ever: sure, he hasn't confessed yet- but everyone can tell he's claiming ownership over her

leona kingscholar

does the little herbivore think she's funny, making him jealous like that? he can't stand to see her fawning over jack, petting his ears and cooing over his tail. it's so fucking annoying, it seriously makes him want to just shut her up himself

sure, she doesn't know he likes her; he hasn't confessed, after all. but even so, does she have to be so damn annoying where he can see? why the hell does he have to sit in the common room just when she's petting jack while he studies?

although, thinking of her doing that behind closed doors also doesn't sit right with him... scratch that; it makes him even more furious. he'll start dragging his darling away whenever he sees her petting jack- he'll say some whatever bullshit, claiming he needs some help as dorm leader and needs her opinion. or he'll send jack away, telling the first year to go do some menial task- sure, jack isn't as subservient as ruggie, but no savanaclaw student would dissobey leona directly

he'll start just picking his darling and taking her wherever it's silent so he can nap on her lap- he tells her to just shut it and be his pillow, and it's scary to disagree with leona. he'll confess eventually in one of these times: not like his darling has an actual option to say no... and he'll also make sure to let her know he'll absolutely not tolerate her talking to jack at all.

well then, if he has a crush, surely it won't be a bother- after all, who wouldn't love him back? ... he says that to himself, watching with pursed lips as his darling coos and hugs a red-faced epel.

he knows epel is beautiful- but absolutely not more than him! what is it about that country bumpkin that his darling likes so much, huh? he'll throw a hissy fit whenever he sees his darling pinching epel's cheeks or hugging him tightly, ranting about how it would ruin both their skin or get their clothes wrinkly. it's not entirely a lie, but it's mostly born from him not wanting to see epel receiving affection from her

he'll subtly try to make epel reject her affections. he'll make offhand comments about how surely his darling only dotes on epel because she sees him as a weak, feminine little boy, or tell epel that being coddled like that by his darling just makes him look "like a cute fragile doll"- he'll slowly add fuel to the fire, making epel begin to get angry or reject being hugged or even approached by his darling

once he succeeds, he'll quickly act like a worried mother hen over his confused and sad darling; poor thing, was epel mean to her? oh, what a tragedy! here, she should come to his room- he'll give her some face creams to cheer her right up! come now, don't be shy: surely she isn't about to reject an invitation from her own dorm leader, right?

he'll easily get his darling to walk into his trap. he'll make her grow close to him by constantly offering to have self-care sessions to "cheer her up from epel being so mean". he'll confess when he feels like the time is right; but even though he absolutely expects the answer to be "yes" (because who would dare turn down vil schoenheit?!), he'll keep a vial of love potion in his drawer- just in case...

malleus draconia

when lilia comes giggling to him to tell him to "come and see how well sebek's adapting", he didn't expect his jealousy to flare up. but when he saw the first year in the common room, red faced as his darling slept with her head on his shoulder, that's exactly what happened

he immediately asks sebek for tea- making the first year immediately stand and rush to the kitchen, making his darling wake up when their pillow ran away. when lilia asks what's up, he'll say nothing; he doesn't know why he did that... does he?

it takes a while before he understands he's in love with his darling, but even before he does, he's been separating her from sebek whenever possible. he'd never minded much who sebek befriended, but now he tries his best to keep him away from her, usually with small pointless orders just to make him move away

malleus' blood boils whenever he sees his darling with another- oh, he wants her eyes on him, to have her smile aimed at him, to hear his name fall from her lips- but he's hesitant to approach her. after all, he's not quite good with social interactions... but he'll eventually speak to her, because the longing and obsession in his heart won't let him stay far

his darling better know that once he confesses, there's no option other than to say yes and accept his feelings. he has no qualms in ordering sebek to never talk to his darling again- or even to tell the first year to use the fact he's close with his darling to kidnap her.

<The King Of The Blizzard: Part One>

A/N: A few things, tumblr is mean. Also I thing you should know about me is that is get extremely flustered when writing canon characters so I apologize if there are any mistakes. I hope you enjoy the first part of Glacirem’s story! - Mod ankin

Yuu has a dream about two kids playing together. One of them (Gerta) leaves the other (Kai) and a wind blows theough as a tall lady in a sled is seen coming closer

Yuu wakes up to hear Grim complaining about the heat and how it’s getting closer to summer. Yuu realizes that the school year will end soon and they STILL haven’t found a way back home, or rather Crowley hasn’t. Grim suggests that go bother the headmaster about it after classes are done.

We then switch to Class 1-A where Ace and Deuce also begin to talk about summer and Yuu’s plans if Crowley doesn’t find them a way home. The temperature of the begins to fall fast which prompts all the students to start shivering and be confused. Even the windows have begun to have frost covering them. a new voice appears

???: Ah, that’s so much better~ These classrooms are always ovens this time of year~

This stranger is met with a with an angry shivering Ace who asks

“Who the hell are you?”

He is ignored. Professor Crewel gives a tired sigh and tells the student,

“Runar, you’re in the wrong class again.”

Runar looks around and realized that he’s in class 1-A. He apologizes but asks if he can stay because the room feels nice and cool. Crewel calls him a bad dog and orders him to leave, which Runar does with a smile on his face. Our first year group is still very confused until one of their mob classmates provides information while gossiping with their seat mate

“Runar? Runar Steinsson? The lost guy from Glacirem?”

“He’s a second year I think. Some of my seniors have talked about him wandering into their classes...”

[Scene Change]

Obligatory lunch scene! Jack and Epel join us for lunch! Ace and Deuce are in line while the others already have their food and Grim is getting read to dig into his food.

Jack accidentally bumps into a Glacirem student while going to throw something away, which really pisses them off despise it no damage being done. Jack apologizes like the good boy he is but They verbally rip into Jack, Epel, Grim, and Yuu which causes a fight.

Yuu’s Choices:

After getting their asses kicked the students won’t screw off until another new face pops up along with Runar. And the temperature drops slightly

???: You guys lost. Get over yourselves and scram.

Runar: Hehe~ you guys might end up as ice sculptures to decorate the yard with if you don’t hehe~

They realize how clearly outnumbered they are and understand the threat and decide to leave. ??? Profusely apologizes for his dorm mate’s behavior and introduces himself as Emil Olsesen a Glacirem first year. Runar makes an off hand comment about how those particular students used to be so so nice. Grim and MC have a sense of déjà vu. (Meanwhile Kalim sneezes somewhere else on campus)

Emil tells them not to worry about it and Glacirem’s problem is their own and apologizes again. Yuu starts a mental timer to see how long it will take before they’ll get involved.

Yuu and Grim finally make their way to the headmaster to see his progress on finding a way to get Yuu home. They find him crying over numerous reports of Glacirem students being cruel to other students. Why?? Why have they suddenly become problematic?! Why did they have to go and suddenly lower the morale of the student population?! This will give the school a bad rep at this rate!! Cry cry cry...

Grim and Yuu awkwardly stand there waiting for him to finish. Crowley turns off the water works when he realizes that Yuu and Grim have solved all his problems up to this point... he’ll just send them to sort out the Glacirem problem! He asked them to go and bug Glacirem’s dorm head about the issue.

Grim: What?! No! Stop sending us to go do your dirty work! You’re the headmaster and you have more power than us!

Crowley really doesn’t want to deal with Glacirem’s dorm head... and says some As Crowley is pushing them out of his office he says that if they’ll do this for him he’ll have time to continue is search for Yuu’s way home and even give them a week off from school! (Grim takes the bribe)

And off they travel to Glacirem, the dormitory of ice and snow....

Except it’s never that easy.

They enter at the base of the hill that the dorm sits upon

They take a step from the mirror and are amazed by the snowy paradise that is Glacirem. They are also quite cold! Not a few steps later they are jumped by Glacirem students. Yuu and Grim try to take the diplomatic route and try to talk them down but they are really rude and provoke a fight

Yuu and Grim have their asses kicked and physically thrown out. Okay then. Grim wants to charge back in but Yuu decides to get help from others... which boils down to the first year group. They had to be baited/bribed into helping.

Que another trip to Glacirem to get an audience with the dorm head. The same group of students confront them and another battle happens... everyone is cold and moves slower except for jack who is used to cold temperatures

If they can’t strong arm their way in they’ll sneak their way in just one problem though... they have no idea where they’re going. They don’t even know what the inside of Glacirem looks like. If only they had help from someone on the inside... wait

Yuu has another big Brain protag moment and remember that there is a Glacirem student who isn’t a complete asshole.

Now it’s a matter of getting him to help... which they can deal with tomorrow as it’s getting late.
