You've had a little crush on her ever since she joined the team. Which was a good while ago so you don't think you can really consider it just a little crush anymore. You catch yourself looking at her way more than you'd like to admit. It's really hard not to look when she always looks so good.

But it's just a night out after all, everyone is going to be dressed up. You don't expect anything to happen, just to have enough drinks to make you tipsy but not too drunk because unfortunately work calls for you in the morning.

With a breathy sigh, you push the door open. Your gaze catches them immediately, sitting in a table in the middle of the bar with drinks in hand. Emily sees you first, waving you over to them.

You notice Emily seems awfully quiet today, barely exchanging words with anyone after your conversation was interrupted by Derek, keeping herself busy with the drink in her hands. You try to gather the courage to small talk with her, but everytime you glance at her, she's in fact already looking at you. And you can't help but feel too embarrassed to actually say anything. "So, does the pretty girl dance?" Derek asks once he notices you're done with your drink

Meanwhile Emily sits at the table with an almost sad frown on her face. This was supposed to be the day she was going to confess her feelings to you, but Derek was rather quick to ruin it. She doesn't remember how long she's been waiting to do it. And now she's pretty sure she's closer to losing her chance with you. You're perfect, it's just a matter of time until someone else realizes it and steals away her chance.

She watched the way he holds your waist and can't help but feel jealous, wishing it was her in his place. Emily knows you're merely friends but she envies the way he can flirt with you so easily without turning into an absolute mess. The most she got herself to do was compliment the color of your shirt. It's not usual to see you dressed up and she wish she could have the courage to tell you how pretty she thinks you look. Not just today, but every other day.

"You're drooling." JJ chuckles but only receives a cold glare in return. Emily can't actually focus on how pretty you look when there's someone else touching your waist and dancing with you. She is looking, nevertheless.

"You know he's doing it on purpose, right?" JJ asks with raised eyebrows.

Emily hums in response, not really sure what to think of JJ's suggestion. It is true that she can't be sure about your feelings towards you, but she doesn't think she can be more obvious with her own feelings.

Then again, she could at least try for once before it gets too late. Just maybe not tonight, she thinks as she sees you now sitting by the stools drowning down the second shot with Penelope.

You can’t choose between the two dresses laid out on your bed. You have a luncheon to go to in a little over two hours from now and you really rather not embarrass yourself. You know that your boyfriend, Yoongi, is working from home today. You wonder if maybe he can offer his option on your dresses? The pink dress is cute and will make your melanated skin glow. Whereas the cream and black dress is a classic choice that will look elegant and show off your shoulders.

Giving one last look at the dresses, you tuck a missed twist from your messy bun behind your ear and leave the bedroom in search of Yoongi. You find him a few moments later, lounging on the couch with his laptop perched in his lap and headphones over his ears. He looks cute, you think to yourself. You love when he dresses up but you love it even more when he is like this. Barefaced, cozy and comfortable. Tucked away from the world, safe in your shared home. His dark hair is hidden by the black beanie on his head and as he inhales deeply before letting out a loud sigh, you know now is the time to interrupt him.

“Yoongi?” 

You call his name loud enough that he might hear over whatever music is playing but he doesn’t budge. Walking closer to him, you tap his shoulder and he turns his head towards you. His eyes raise in surprise at seeing you beside him and you watch as he drinks in your half dressed body. The purple silk duster you have on is doing very little to hide what is underneath; which isn’t very much. A black and green two-toned lace thong sits on your hips and that’s it. You aren’t wearing a bra just yet since you aren’t sure what dress you will wear.

Yoongi pulls his headphones from his ears, resting him around his neck. His eyes linger on the swell of your exposed chest. He licks his lips and you gently reach your hand out to cup his chin.

“My eyes are up here, handsome.”

You smile sweetly as Yoongi allows for you to raise his face and he gives you that wonderful gummy smile.

“How can I ignore such a sight?” 

You roll your eyes and giggle as he pulls you into his lap. His hands are warm as they squeeze and rub against your thighs and hips. He sprinkles light kisses along your neck and noses at the collar of your robe ‘causing it to slip down your shoulder. At the sight of more exposed skin, Yoongi groans and presses firmer kisses to your shoulder and neck.

“Yoongi?” You whisper as your hands rest against his chest. He hums against your skin and you sigh. Trailing your hands up the length of his neck, your fingers creep underneath his beanie and you tug at his dark stans lightly. 

“Lil busy darlin.”

“Yoongi, I had a question for you.”

At that, Yoongi pulls his face away from your shoulder and looks into your eyes. You have his full attention and grin. He is such a wonderful boyfriend.

“I can’t decide between two dresses. Can you pick for me?” 

He blinks slowly at your words, reminding you of an owl. You can see the gears turning in his head as he thinks about your question.

“This isn’t one of those pranks, right?”

“What?”

“You know where the woman asks her husband or whatever to pick an outfit and she picks the other one?”

You laugh with a shake of your head. You know exactly what he is talking about.

“No. This isn’t that, babe. I really can’t decide.”

Yoongi nods his head and sucks in a deep breath before he lets it out while clearing his throat. He pats your hip and loosens his hold on you.

“Show ‘em to me.”

Grinning, you move to get off Yoongi’s lap and he grabs you back quickly.

“Are you wearing your hair up or down?” 

“Huh?” You think about the two dresses and shrug your shoulders. “Down, I guess.”

In the blink of an eye, Yoongi removes the hair tie from your messy bun and your twists fall around your shoulders and face. Reaching out, Yoongi tucks a few behind your ear and clicks his tongue as he pinches your chin between his thumb and index finger.

“How gorgeous are you…a fucking dream.” Yoongi whispers and pulls you into a sweet kiss. His fingers flex and dig into your hips making your moan into the kiss. Yoongi smirks and nips at your lips.

“I-I should go.”

“Yeah? You think so?” Yoongi mutters against your mouth and you nod your head. Your lips stay pressed against his. He kisses you harder, pulling you closer to his chest, holding you tighter. He breaks the kiss suddenly and nuzzles his nose against yours. “Go on darlin. Show me what you picked.”

You pout and Yoongi chuckles as he pecks your lips once more, “Go on.”

You slip off Yoongi’s lap and head back into the room to get dressed into the first dress. In the living room, Yoongi flops back on the couch and groans. He is hard and he wants to bend you over the back of the couch so badly. He looks at the hair tie on his wrist and smirks as he slips his hand under his beanie and plays with his hair. If he remembers correctly, your outing isn’t for another two hours or so.

He weighs the pros and cons of interrupting you and licks his lips. “Ah, we got time.”

Yoongi picks himself up off the couch and throws his beanie onto the cushion. “Jagiya! Don’t get dressed yet!” Yoongi calls out as he makes his way to the bedroom.

impulse spends practically every day equal parts ranting about the other two and pining over them. His pseudo-brother/platonic soulbound is starting to get… *really* tired of waking up at four AM to about a million text messages each from all three of these idiots (especially because, being aro/ace, he is the LAST person to talk to about this)

so he just… gives up and arranges a game night, then leaves the room and locks the door.

“I’m not going to let you guys out until you’ve realized you ALL like each other. I need *sleep*, not- listen, just, can you all just kiss or whatever? I’m tired.”

weirdly enough, this works. Who would’ve thought?

(Still, skizz almost regrets it. He thought setting his friends up would STOP the 4-AM-texts. It didn’t. If anything, it made them worse.

…it was worth it, though, to see them all so happy.)

They've now joined forces for their 4AM texts, it seems. Skizz gets a constant commentary of whatever cute thing one of them is doing, often accompanied by pictures. Sometimes he can just hear them laughing through the walls, no pictures needed.

If Skizz didn't love 'em so much, they'd be dead.

(Also they got him a very nice 'please have better sleep' gift basket. Skizz appreciated the thought.)

OH EM GEEEE anon i havent thought of the reader being the hybrid too much but tbh that sounds so fun and cute 😕😕 here r some things i just came up w on the spot lol 🧌

yeonjun talking ab how his apartment’s been feeling empty so the members encourage him to go adopt a hybrid roomate and he ends up falling for u and ur big eyes n’ fluffy puppy tail <3 you’d be all shy and innocent for a grand total of two days to lure him in, but the second u warm up ur real self comes out and u turn into the most hyper playful puppy ever !! jun would probably be surprised and taken aback at first, but he quickly grows to love it sm especially since you’re constantly showering so much attention on him n’ making him feel all special; always making him play games w u, asking for cuddles n even asking him to teach u how to cook so u can try and make him meals for when he comes back from work :0 then when the boys come over you get so excited about meeting ur owner’s friends that you’re just all over them; resting on soobin’s chest while he scratches behind your fluff ears while gyu rubs your legs that’re across his lap! ofc it’s all in good fun, but yeonjun would get jealous and pouty right away at the lack of your cute eyes on him and as soon as their gone, he’s the one throwing himself onto you for once !! demanding cuddles n’ hugs etc etc 🫶

on the other hand, soobin would see how cuddly and enthusiastic you are with his hyung; the way his mood skyrockets the second you give him any kind of affection, and how cute your tail and ears looked when they’d droop after yeonjun scolds you for biting or playing with something you weren’t supposed to. so of course he finds himself at the adoption centre himself, ready to find a companion of his own that’ll shower him in the love he so desperately craves <3 soobin was honestly expecting to drive home with a dog hybrid himself, but instead, his attention was stolen by you — a siamese cat that sat on the ground carelessly, not even sparing him a glance. when the employee tells him that you don’t like humans and they’re losing hope in ever finding you a family, soobin practically throws his money at the man’s face, determination flaming in his soft eyes T-T they’re like, “y/n this guy’s adopting you for some reason” and ur just like “😟… damn he must be a perv or smthn” and poor soob just blushes 😞😭 he just wanted to be someone that could make u happy yknow, since there must be a reason u aren’t a fan of humans :(!! after bringing you home, you were vv on guard and scared despite ur attempts of acting nonchalant and calm. the first few days you’d mostly hide in your room or sit on the ground and just,, stare at whatever soobin does, and he’d tried to talk to you, but you weren’t very good at holding the conversations and clearly preferred silently spying on ur owner’s every move instead <3 however!! after another whole week of going out together, watching movies and shows you’d been dreadfully missing out on at the adoption centre, and late night conversations in the living room resulted in you finally opening up to him, and soobin was more than excited ab it !!! he’d learn the way that you’re actually a very sassy and playful cat, you two would banter a lot.. BUT late at night your soft side would come on and your favourite thing would be just to lie on soobin’s lap while he scratches your head; eliciting soft purrs and rumbles from ur chest <33

used to be victor by marble hornets standards known as smokey

a dropout uni student with raging nicotine addiction (smokey did not retain any uni info but vic used to be psych student (projecting much lol))

prolly watched marble hornets with friends for fun and against better judgement decided to give a visit to rosswood park thinking its a film project in the beginning

turns out its not and they spotted the lanky guy

smokey the horror movie enthusiast wants out at that point before shize goes down but its late and they r deep in the forest so comes to conclusion they r all p much dead at this point

peeps want to go hunt for the lanky man cus cool and internet views

my guy is like f that yall r following basic horror lore of everyone dies im not playin like that and straight up says hes not going and hed rather go and sleep in the burned down psych ward

he gets called a wimp but decides if hes gonna die hes not dying an idiot and decides to vidtape everything on his mid tier phone camera

not sure what happens to the rest but they do their meet cute w slendy and prolly with time like half of em ends up in the arko e way or another

smokey manages most of the night fine but like luck would have it still end up meeting the guy

does not go well

wakes up in the burned down hospital not remembering the last unknown time and broken phone beyond repair

decides oho this is bad lets go back to uni and never talk abt it

meets with most friends back at uni but like 2 of em r missing and they just pretend nothing happened, friend group dissolves

after that he starts slowly having memory gaps, waking up in other places

all comes to head when it turns out he missed 5 months of uni after he wakes up back in rosswood really far from home and skinnier than ever and suddenly no more uni student

after that victor surfaces less and less till hes just kinda gone at that point

Smokey first shows up the night victor goes with friends to rosewood

in the beginning surfaces confused unsure who they are and what is their purpose

with time smokey goes through both phone and computer of vics

binges whole marble hornets in one sitting and decides he has a personal vendetta against the operator

since then they work on somehow stoping it (and terribly fails given the lack of information) leading to continuous trips back to rosewood and sleepovers in the rubble of the ex psych ward

figuring out the nicotine addiction takes a bit of time and leads to pretty nasty withdrawal symptoms as well as a very wrecked dorm room (he does find the cigarettes tho and is smart enough to connect the dots (smart cookie, here have a star sticker))

smokey learns asl and isolates themself a lot in the months of operator research

he still maintains two personas to some extends which is one the masked smokey who uses mostly asl and rarely speaks (to some extent also a tactic against being caught by police) and times when he goes without mask on library searches and grocery shoppings

smokey starts a yt channel dedicated to catching the operator and ending it which attracts at best some people commenting on obvious marble hornets ripoff and few cents into his wallet

with passing time they do start finding victims in order to keep themselves alive n appease the the big slinky leading to series of alleged suicides then turned to series of murders

he starts off with two of his ex friends who go back to rosewood and start showing symptoms he learned from mh

When they commit murder they hide in the trunk of the car and basically hotbox the whole thing due to smoking making the victim whoozy and confused, moving on they connect a pipe (like garden hose or whatevs) to the exhaustion pipe and suffocate their victims with the car smoke

the thing that tips off the police is the nicotine in the system of every victim and an account of almost to be one that got stalked by smokey who upon being discovered (also while smoking and which earned him the name) decided to bolt

since then he continues on just about the same, aka researching the operator, finding new victims and surviving untill they meet Something

His hoodie is dark green, the mask is greyish from the grime n dirt, the big cross on it is black so are his pants and hair

Real name : Rae Dyer

Age : 23 before transformation, currently unknown

Something used to be a cryptid fan. They worked at a radio station and had a small night show where they played old rock and often rambled about the latest creature they heard about. While out, looking for a new creature to maybe see, they stumbled upon the Slenderman and became obsessed to document it somehow, quickly spiraling out of control and slowly, bit by bit became a creature themselves.

Something doesn't remember much from it's past life. It used to just wander, guided by the static in it's head towards it's victims, always terrified itself but not knowing why. After Smokey found it, they started wandering together. At first they had serious communication issues - Something only able to speak in tap code and Smokey mainly using ASL - but with time they learned to speak with each other, and now they can understand the other almost without words.

Something doesn't really eat, it survives on fear and between itself and Smokey, it always has more than enough of it. It does steal food for Smokey tho, cigarettes as well, usually leaving them in whatever ruined building he decided to stay in for the night. Something got also addicted to nicotine by just being around Smokey so much, leading to separation anxiety fueled by withdrawal when they're apart.

Something cannot speak, and can only communicate using tap code. When it's particularly worried or scared it does emit a small noise, that sounds like a particularly breathy whine, and more commonly when it tries to speak, quiet spider like ticking can be heard coming from it's mouths.

It usually walks hunched over, used to having to duck under branches, entryways, etc bc of it's height.

Something has pale skin reminiscent of porcelain, and is usually wearing a v neck sweater with a white undershirt and jeans or other pants. It's hair is very thin and scarce, floating around it's head down to it's lower back

Also a tiny doodle bonus of how I imagine these two showing up on Jacks doorstep xjbxbcbcb

We think the most probable case of them showing up would be Smokey getting bonked on a mission (probably by a car or a would be victim) and Something bringing them over to Jacks cabin to get pached up, tho feel free to do something else ya might think fits =w=
