Aaron Hotchner x bau!reader ↳ part 1 here
Sypnosis: The team finally finds out about your relationship with Aaron Hotchner. WARNING: nothing, all fluff! A/N: not my gif, ctto!

"WHAT?!"
You and Aaron looked at each other in his office at the sound of Emily's voice echoing in the entire floor.
"You think they got it?" You asked in an innocent tone as a growing mischievous smile lifted up the ends of your lips.
A knock brought both your attention to the door.
Aaron looked back at you. He was biting back a smile, "I think they did."
You chuckled and walked to the door. You gave Aaron one last glimpse before swinging the door open, spilling the entire BAU team inside his office.
Penelope was first at the door, losing her balance from an equivalent weight of four agents on her back. She waved a card as she stepped inside the office, looking back and forth between you and Aaron. "This! What? When?" She took a deep breath, "What is this?!"
You calmly went closer to Penelope and gently grabbed the card, "Let me take a look." You pretended to read the contents as if you hadn't printed them out yourself. "Looks like an invitation to me," You handed the paper back to Penelope.
"Yeah?" Emily butter in, shoving Spencer aside. "An engagement party invitation—"
"Your engagement party invitation," Penelope concluded, pointing at the two of you.
JJ, being the most level-headed person in the group, stepped in, "I guess what everyone is trying to ask is... What? When? Where? How? And how long?" She smiled sweetly, but you could sense her impatience.
"You will answer us now, and you will answer us now!" Penelope threatened in an ever-energetic bounce of avidity.
You chuckled as you stood next to Aaron's desk, "You just said the same thing, Pen." You exchanged looks with Aaron.
"That's not the point. Why didn't you tell us?" Emily crossed her arms like a toddler.
David peeked into the office, holding his copy of the invitation card. "Ahh, I see you told the children." He joined the commotion inside, closing the door as if it'd change anything.
Emily scoffed, pointing at David, "But he knew?! That's so unfair! I thought we were friends." Her face was in utter disbelief.
Derek spoke from the back, "I'm not going to lie, but I kind of feel betrayed." He sighed, now also crossing his arms. "I expected it from Hotch, but not from you." He looked at you disappointingly.
"It's not like we purposely kept it a secret," Aaron leaned against the back of his seat. "We were always off on the same day. Thought you all would've caught up by now."
"You said you have movie nights with your son every Friday. Are you telling us that's a lie?" JJ worriedly looked at Aaron as if he had done a horrible crime using his child to get out of work and go on a date with you.
Spencer hummed, looking at you, "I specifically remember you saying you spend time with family every Friday. You asked me about superheroes because one of the kids in the family loves superheroes... Were you both talking about Jack this whole time?" He questioned, tilting his head in wonderment.
You and Aaron nodded at the same time. The team even got a glimpse of Aaron's small smile. He cherished the days he spent with you and Jack.
Penelope groaned, "You lied to the three of us." She stood between JJ and Emily, pointing at themselves. "We asked if something was going on with you and Hotch, and you denied it! You lie oh so well."
Emily nodded in agreement, "Yeah, that hurts a little bit. I didn't see this coming." She placed a hand on her chest, displaying disdain.
"Relax, guys, I'm sure they have a good reason why they didn't bother announcing it to everyone." JJ turned to the two of you with an annoyed smile, "Right?"
"Honestly, we just thought you'd figure it out yourselves." You shrugged, gesturing towards David. "I mean, Rossi knew."
"Uh, duh! Pasta man always knows everything." Penelope remarked.
"Hold on, please. Let's not bring me into this. You're mad at your parents. Don't blame grandpa." David reminded everyone, sniggering to himself as he saw you and Aaron glare at him.
Derek placed a hand over Penelope's shoulder, "You still haven't answered our questions." He emphasized the last word. "Is this real? Are you guys really getting married?"
You glanced at Aaron and were about to speak when he beat you to it, "We've been together for almost three years and engaged for a month." Aaron didn't mean to talk over you. He just felt like it was something he really wanted to announce himself. He was as excited as you were but just a tiny bit casual about it.
"A MONTH?!" Penelope's eyes were wide. You worried that a sudden move might cause it to pop out of her sockets. "We missed Hotch on his one knee?! Oh, my golly gracious! Pictures? What about pictures?"
Now that she mentioned it, a small part of you felt regretful that you and Aaron weren't great at capturing memories together. You just were always in the moment and forgot to stop one second to leave a picture behind.
Penelope shook her head as if she could read your mind. "You don't have pictures of your engagement?!" She freaked out, fanning herself.
David raised a finger, fishing his phone in his pocket. "Ah! I think I have some." He began tapping on the screen.
Emily scanned them and gave David a blank expression, "No offense, Rossi, but you suck at taking pictures. Sergio can take better pictures."
Another round of noises filled Aaron's office. He reckoned it had never been that crowded in that room before. The two of you watched as your small family of agents childishly reacted to your secret relationship. They responded just as you both predicted: a complete madhouse.
Aaron stood from his seat, walking around his desk to wrap you in his jacket. He did it more upfront, glancing at you with a smile as he laid the lapels of his coat flat on your shoulders. He fixed the collar, leaning against your ear, "Let me borrow this for a second, sweetheart." He whispered.
You only knitted your brows as you tried to make sense of what Aaron meant. Your hand reflexively felt the base of your neck as soon as you saw your engagement ring glistened in Aaron's hand. It may have caused you a mini heart attack when you felt nothing, but you quickly realized that Aaron meant to borrow it for everyone to see.
Everyone's mouth shut as soon as they noticed their unit chief on one knee, lifting your ring, just like the first he did.
JJ clasped her mouth with both her hands. Penelope had her phone in a flash. Emily was smacking Spencer's shoulder, to his dismay.
"You're my solace. The one person that I found myself vulnerable and yet the safest. I promise to love you for the rest of my life, so I hope that you'll allow me to spend it with you." Aaron spoke your name with such softness and love. "Will you let me marry you?"
A huge smile was plastered on your face. Granted, Aaron had said the same words a month ago. You were wearing a better dress, one of his jackets around your shoulder, per usual. His suit was more for leisure and not his everyday office attire. The venue was more privy and gave both of you such intimacy you couldn't help but cry.
But despite the crowded room and unromantic setting, the effect was still the same.
You felt the rim of your eyes heat up, nodding vigorously as if you hadn't been engaged for the past month. "Yes!"
Aaron placed the ring on your finger for the second time and grabbed you into a quick, soft kiss. The joy he felt coursed through his body. He couldn't help but have you in his arms.
The team cheered, clapping their hands in excitement. Some raised their hands to express their happiness.
"She said yes!" Emily jumped out with joy. She had one of her arms wrapped around Penelope's.
Penelope was satisfied; even if it wasn't the proposal in her mind, she was happy to be a part of such an amazing event in the whole team's entire lives.
"Now, can you all go back and do your jobs?" Aaron spoke firmly, jolting everyone into place.
You lightly smacked his chest as you laughed. You turned to the others and smiled, "He's kidding."
"I'm not," Aaron shook his head.
"He is," You clarified, giving him a playful glare.
Spencer was the one to break your banter, "So, like... do we call you mom, now?" The entire team looked at him as if he was asking the obvious. "What? I was just making sure."
"Come here," Emily hooked her arm around Spencer's neck, dragging him out of the office. "Don't worry, Mom. We'll set him straight." She kidded, leading the line of agents out of the office.

As the next installment, here is Yandere! Bruce Wayne with baby trapping!
Warnings: Possessive tendencies, manipulative behavior and actions, dubious consent, forced pregnancy (obviously)
Smut under the cut. Minors please do not interact with this post.
Your whole relationship with Bruce had started out completely innocent without him even being aware of how possessive he would become
You both met through a mutual associate and had gotten along fairly well so he asked you out for a date
The two of you went on 5 dates before Bruce finally expressed the idea of being official to one another
Bruce truly did enjoy being with you. You never had expectations on how he needed to act or treat you. You just let him be Bruce without complaint
He even felt comfortable enough to admit his identity as Batman after a few months of being with you
He half expected you to freak out, but you didn't. To his surprise, you mostly made a joke of it.
"Oh my god, no way! Super tall and extremely jacked billionaire with an army of adopted children Bruce Wayne is the Batman!? You two don't even look alike!"
He swears he had fallen in love a little more just by the sarcasm alone
A year into the relationship, your apartment building had to ask everyone to temporarily move out due to a mold problem in the basement while they got it cleaned out
Bruce offered to let you stay at the manor while it got worked out
Now, he wasn't worried about how long you might need to stay there. He was just concerned about how the kids would react to you staying there for so long.
Dick was super friendly and Jason didn't have a huge care for who Bruce was dating. And Tim was always busy with some random project that he was working on.
However, Damian might not like the fact that he was bringing someone into the manor who had the knowledge of their second life. He could barely remain civil on the nights you came over for dinner
And Cassandra had only been taken in a couple of weeks ago and hadn't been able to meet you yet. He was worried of how she might react to the new presence in the manor for an unknown amount of time so suddenly.
He sat all the kids down that morning to let them know of the situation before you showed up that night without any of them knowing why
As he expected, Cass was skeptical about the whole situation but Dick and Jason assured her she would like you
Damian flat out admitted to hating the whole thing before storming out of the room to get ready for school
When you finally got done with work, you came over with a small suitcase full of most of your clothes and a bag with the other important things you need
Bruce eagerly welcomed you in while taking the bag from you. Kissing you softly before guiding you towards his room to put your stuff away
He helped you find a place for all your stuff in his private spaces
He smirked as you got to setting your medicine up on the sink counter. His hands holding up the pack that held your morning after pills as he raised a brow
You innocently shrugged while saying neither of you liked to wear condoms all the time. Besides, you had to find a way to thank him for his generosity after all
He set the packet down before kissing you again with a little more intensity
He pulls away went you lightly swat his chest while telling him he can have his fun later, but you wanted to meet Cassandra
He chuckled while nodding his head as he lead you to her room
He gently knocked on the door and called out to Cass as you stood beside him with a calm smile
Cass opened the door while looking between Bruce and you with a curious look in her eyes
You continue smiling while holding a hand out while introducing yourself to her. Calmly asking about her and saying she can feel free to talk to you about anything if she wanted to
Cass cautiously shakes your hand while glancing between you and Bruce before saying she had a few things to do in her room before dinner
Bruce softly reassured you to give her some time after the door closed on you
Bruce guided you away from the door to give you an in depth tour of the manor for you to be comfortable navigating for the next few weeks you would be there
It doesn't take long for it to be time for dinner as everyone gathers around the table to eat
The silence that loomed over the table was almost suffocating each time conversation went around to Damian or Cass
Bruce repeatedly encouraged them to speak to you about anything, but Cass always shrunk into herself while Damian glared at his father for the suggestion
Dinner ended quite awkwardly as the three oldest boys found excuses to leave the table fairly quickly after finishing their plates
Damian simply left the table without a word, leaving you, Bruce, and Cass
You look at Bruce with a small frown as he gives you a small nod for encouragement while tilting his head towards Cass
Looking back over to her, you comment on how you would be going shopping in a few days for a couple of things and asked if she would want to come along to spend some time together
She looked up in surprise before giving a small nod while saying she would like to try if she was feeling it that morning
That night as he was about to get ready for patrol, he watched you get ready for bed with guarded excitement for the promised outing
Bruce smiled while walking over to place a soft kiss to your temple while saying they would all be back before dawn
You smile back while kissing his cheek and saying that you wanted them to come back with all their bones intact, which he assured would happen as he told you to sleep well
The next few days all went very similar to the first night with Damian still acting hostile and Cass still uncertain of your presence
The weekend morning you were going to be shopping, Cass had said she was willing to go out for a couple hours with you that day
Bruce gave you one of his cards as you got ready for the day while asking you to make sure Cass got a few things that she liked while you were looking today
You hesitantly take the card while saying you would before giving him a kiss goodbye and leaving for the shopping center
Everything is quiet in the manor for a few hours as the boys simply lounged around for that morning as they surprisingly didn't have anything that needed to be done that day
Around noon, Bruce got a text saying you both were caught up at the mall and would be home when everything settled down and grabbed a small meal
He felt concerned at first but quickly brushed the fears aside
You would have told him if something bad happened and you needed his help with anything
About two more hours pass before you and Cass finally make it back with a handful of shopping bags each
The boys all watch from a distance as you give her a small kiss on the cheek before she goes up to put her items away with a smile
Bruce, intrigued by the sudden change, got up to greet you while asking how everything went as you begin to hand him back his credit card
You shrug while saying it wasn't anything too important. Just a small misunderstanding with another customer who tried interacting with Cass when she didn't want the attention
Bruce's jaw clenched as he began to stand up, but you assured him that it was handled and the guy wouldn't be trying anything like that again anytime soon
Bruce reluctantly accepts the explanation as you quickly peck his cheek before letting you go put you own purchases up
"And on a completely unrelated note, I had to buy a new thing of pepper spray because I apparently emptied mine recently."
From that day on, Cass had taken a strong liking to you and would open up to you if she ever needed to talk
Bruce felt relieved that you managed to get her to feel comfortable, but he was still worried about Damian
The day he changed his mind came a couple weeks later when he was at school one day
You and Bruce had the day off, so of course you were both trying to spend it in his bedroom
'Trying' being the key word in that statement
Just as Bruce was slipping a hand under your shirt, his phone began to ring
You both groan slightly as he pulled away to see who was bothering him during the day
His attitude immediately changed as he saw Damian's principal calling him
He answered the phone with concern as he was told that Damian had gotten into a fight with a few boys that were a few grades above him
Bruce began to get himself presentable as he asked to speak to Damian as he watched you get ready as well while looking confused
He explained the situation as you furrowed your brows as you told him to put it on speaker to talk with Damian as well
When Damian's voice came from over the phone, Bruce couldn't get a word in before you spoke to the boy
"Speak in a simple yes or no. Did you win and did they swing first?"
The line goes silent for a moment before Damian let out a strained, "Yes."
"Are those kids somewhat racist towards you regularly?"
"...somewhat."
You give a look to Bruce as you begin to put yourself together as he tells Damian you will both be there shortly
The drive is quick as you and Bruce are taken to the waiting area where the other parents are already talking to one another
You and Bruce both go unnoticed at first as they comment about Damian being 'unstable' around the other children due to the environment he was brought up in
Bruce cleared his throat to get the attention of the other parents before they could say anything else
The principal ushered the parents into the office where all the boys sat in front of the desk as their parents stood behind them
Each of them had a bruise of some kind on their face or body, even Damian had a black eye and a busted lip
The principal walks in while telling everyone to calm down before explaining how the older boys had snuck up on Damian when he went to his locker at some point
Everyone listens as the principal begins to explain the 'no tolerance' policy the school has and that all the boys will need to be temporarily suspended while an investigation occurs. Including Damian
"I beg your pardon?" "The fuck he will!"
Bruce and you both go off on the principal at the suggestion that Damian would be punished for the fact he defended himself
You even put a hand on Damian's head while saying that 'your little boy' would never hurt anyone without a reason
Bruce maintained his surprise by the statement you said, focusing on making sure his son didn't get punished
Damian could see the angle you were playing as he looked up to you with big eyes as he leaned towards you
"I just trying to get a book out of my locker when they attacked me. I was just protecting myself, ummi, I swear."
Bruce bit the inside of his cheek to keep from smiling and giving away the two of you in your act. How you both could understand the act without any form of prepared plan was astounding to him
You stare down the principal with a frown as you raise an eyebrow
"You have cameras in the hallway. Check them and see that he simply defended himself from those boys. Damian will be back to school tomorrow to keep getting his education. Habibi, we're going home."
The three of you quickly leave the office and head to the car
Once inside and driving back to the manor, Bruce looked over at you with a quirked brow. You just looked at him with a smile
"You dating someone who was once a theater kid. We're all crazy on some degree."
Since that day, Damian had seen you in a different light and began to get along with you to a degree
Which Bruce found to be relieving as you had gotten a call saying that your apartment building was being condemned because the mold had apparently been in the walls of all the floors
He had made sure to help you get all the remaining belongings you had there out so you wouldn't have to worry about losing anything when they destroyed the building
He was a little happy about it because you would be around more with him and spending time with all the kids more often
Bruce thought everything was going great and that you were happy staying with them so you wouldn't have to move back out to just live with them again later on
He had thought you had felt the same way about the living situation
That was until he came back from patrol one night to see you passed out with your phone screen left open on a site with different apartment listings
He was confused when he saw that you had multiple tabs on your phone with similar information on each of them
Bruce quickly turns your phone off on the page you had been on as he lays down in bed with you as his mind raced
Why would you be looking at apartments? The kids all enjoyed having you around now and you got to see them everyday. Why would you want to leave them all?
The time passed quickly as the sun finally began to rise and your alarm went off
You turned it off before rolling over to smile at Bruce with a soft groan. Moving to his side to give him a loving kiss
Bruce returned with as he held you closer with his own smile
He carefully asked if you knew that you were welcome to stay with them all for however long that you needed
You smiled while saying that you knew before giving him another kiss while getting up to prepare yourself for work
He smiled as he watched you get ready before his mind began to wander again
Doubts crept into his thoughts as he got to work himself while trying to figure out some paperwork his attorneys were worried for some reason or another, he couldn't seem to recall what about
When the day was almost over, he was barely focused when his assistant came in with some personal business to talk about
Bruce forced himself to pay attention as he was told about how their family would be expecting a baby soon and they all would want some time off for every member to get to bond together with the new addition
Bruce couldn't help but smile at the news along with them while saying that he would be happy to give them the time as long as a temporary placeholder was found for their job
He still smiled as his assistant left as the fears and doubts quickly disappeared as he began to think
A baby? Babies normally do bring families together. And it takes a lot of work to take care of one alone. But with enough people to support and help out, it might not be as bad. And it would be redundant to live separately with the both of you having a baby together.
When he got home that night, he felt slightly relieved when he saw a new box of your personal hygiene products in his bathroom
Now he had a time frame that he could try to work on his idea to keep you around
About a week later after everyone finished up with dinner, Bruce gently guided you upstairs to his room
He locked the door behind you before guiding you towards the bed
You smile while pulling him in by the collar of his shirt
Bruce smiles while he begins to kiss you, one hand holding the back of your neck as the other moves underneath your shirt
You both begin undressing one another slowly as hands gently explore the skin that becomes exposed
Bruce trailed his lips down to press along your throat before going across your collarbone
He smiled at every small noise that sounded next to his ear with every touch he made on your skin
He pulled away to guide you to lay down on the bed as he ran a hand down your body while getting on top of you
He settled most of his upper body weight into his arms as he began to kiss you again
Just as he was about to get situated above you, Bruce felt you lightly push against his shoulder as you lift off the bed
Bruce smiled as he let you move him to his back so you could straddle his hips with a bashful grin
Oh, how Bruce loved it when you wanted to ride him
He intertwined one hand with yours as you leaned down to lovingly kiss him while grinding into him
He stared as you straightened back up so you could position him at your entrance
He squeezed your hand as you slowly sank down on him with a sigh
You placed your free hand on his abdomen while slowly rolling your hips against his
Bruce's head rolled back into the pillow when you raised up a few inches to sink back down
His hand slide down to grasp at the spot on your thigh just below your ass before squeezing the muscles under his palm
He smiled up at you while watching you gently fuck yourself onto his cock
Occasionally, Bruce would move his hand to make you roll into his hips again when you sunk back down
The two of you stared into each other's eyes before you slowly moved to lay down on his chest
Bruce wrapped his arm around your waist to help you push back onto him as the two of you began kissing once again
His ego swelled at the small whimpers you let out against his mouth as the both of you got closer to the edge
He felt you tightly grasp his hand as you began to shake on top of him as you came with a small cry
It took Bruce a few more moments before he finally stilled his own movement, continuously placing soft kisses to your lips and face as you calm down
It normally didn't last that long when you rode him, but Bruce couldn't help how intimate it always got between you both
He waited as you finally relaxed before lifting you off his lap with a groan
Helping you to your feet, Bruce lead you to the bathroom before turning on the shower for the both of you
He held you close as the water flowed over the both of you, helping scrub the body wash over your skin while massaging the muscles that were still tense
He even let you return the favor when you offered to wash his hair
He couldn't help the urge he got when he watched you worry about tending to his needs than the thought of you doing that for your future children
Bruce leaned in to passionately kiss you while pressing you into the shower wall
He used his hand to hold your head in place as he positions himself at your entrance again
He gently pushed in with a small groan as he begins rolling his hips against yours
Bruce remain soft with each movement as you lightly claw at the skin of his back
He stopped kissing you for a moment as he rested his forehead against yours as you both got a moment to catch your breath
"I love you. Love having you here with me. Like you were meant to be with me in all this."
Bruce groaned as he felt you clench around him as he spoke to you, the sensation sending a shiver down his spice
He trailed a hand down to lightly circle his fingers over your clit as he felt himself get closer to release once again
He gave a small grunt as he still his hips against yours as he helped you to your second orgasm
He continued holding you up while running his hands along your body to help you come down once again
Bruce grinned while beginning to wash the new mess he made before finally turning off the water for the shower
He helped get you into one of the shirts you wear to sleep before guiding you back to the bed
You lean into the cover while telling him to be careful out there
Bruce grinned while leaning down to kiss your forehead before he had to get ready for patrol
"Don't worry. I'll do everything in my power to see you waiting for me every morning."
When he got back from patrol, he was extra cautious not to wake you when he entered the room
After getting changed, Bruce went to your phone before unlocking it to turn off your alarms for that day
He carefully climbed into bed and pulling you to him before drifting into a light sleep
He made sure to not move around too much when he heard the rest of the family beginning to move about for their day
Bruce only began to stir when he felt like it was long enough past the time your alarm would go off for you to worry about getting ready for work
He gently shook you while saying you had slept through the alarm and needed to get up and soon
You groan while reaching for your phone to see the time before jumping up from the bed
He sat up as you quickly changed clothes before trying to head to the bathroom
Bruce quickly said that Alfred would make you eat something before leaving, so you should do that before brushing your teeth
You quickly agree before rushing out of the bedroom door to go and eat something
Bruce got up from the bed and headed to the bathroom to grab your vitamins and medicines that you would need to take
He waited until you rushed back in with a cup of water
You took it all from his hand to take before brushing your teeth
He waited as you gave him a small kiss goodbye before leaving for work before you would be late
Bruce waited until he heard the front door closed before picking up the pack with your morning after pill
Taking one out of the packet, Bruce let out a small sigh before tossing the pill in the toilet before flushing it down the drain
Throughout the day, Bruce felt slightly guilty about not being honest when giving your medicine when you slept in that morning
He was thinking about saying that he forgot about it when you came back that night, but stopped when you came walking through the door and immediately greeted the kids first before going to talk to Bruce
Oh, how he knew you were going to make a great mom with how amazing you treated the rest of the family
All doubts disappeared from his mind as he welcomed you home from work
The next few weeks, Bruce made sure to keep an eye out on behavior or physical changes that could be signs you did get pregnant
He noticed how you would occasionally get sick in the morning after he got back to the manor
You assured him it was probably a stomach bug that some of your coworkers had that was spreading around
He definitely had his suspicions though when you would get random little cravings at night or in early hours of the day
You said french toast was a perfectly reasonable food to eat at 7:30 in the evening
The week you didn't get your period on time, he began to get hopeful
One day, watched you come in with a grocery bag and a nervous look on your face
He immediately suggested that you both go to his room to talk before you nodded along
After locking the door, Bruce asked what was on your mind
You avoid eye contact while pulling a digital pregnancy test out of the bag for him to see
He looked at it for a moment before saying that it was alright and he would wait for the results to come through
You quickly went to the bathroom before going to sit on the bed with Bruce holding you to his chest as the results processed
Nothing was said when the time was finally up and you brought the test closer to read the results on the small window
'Pregnant'
Bruce holds you closer while asking what you wanted to do with the whole thing
You go quiet for a moment before saying that you didn't have the heart to just get rid of it
Bruce smiled while moving a hand to rest under your shirt before he said he understood and began a discussion on the options you would need to think about
While you only agreed to a few of the things Bruce specifically wanted you to do, he knew he still had some time to get you to see his ways and agree
You both did agree to do a small announcement for the whole family in the next few days to not hide the news and get discovered by one of the many vigilantes in the house
Bruce did push to have Alfred get you new vitamins and a few books to look over before then so then you could have a head start on the whole journey
As he laid you down to sleep that night, Bruce couldn't help the smirk on his face as he thought of what your future would entail
There was no way you would think of moving out now. He knew you wouldn't break the family up like that with the new child for everyone to fawn over that they would want around at all times
Oh, how perfect you truly were for this family with Bruce by your side

Platonic dynamics I want to see more in the (tiny) Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons fandom:
Jack being like an older brother to Hiccup and sort of seeing an older version of Jamie in him and not scoffing at how nerdy he is ("holy crap you MADE this? Man show me how it works!!")
Rapunzel post-her-movie being all gung-ho and cheery, and Merida trying to get her to stop being so naïve, only for Rapunzel to calmly list all the ways she was betrayed and abused throughout her adventures (and you'd only have to go through the canon events of the movie and show to make this work, btw, girl's been through STUFF) and tells Merida she is upbeat and kind because she chooses to believe that most people are good, because so many people stuck with her through so much and so many people came back to her after betraying her. And Merida is like "well dang ok, wanna learn to shoot a bow"
Jack being calm, responsible, and protective of the others without becoming too angsty in the process- playing harmless little pranks to bring everyone's spirits up, that sort of thing
Merida being annoyed by Jack at first, but it's because she misses her brothers, not because she categorically dislikes the pranks. She tells Jack this and he asks her to join him doing pranks. She has much more fun after this.
Rapunzel is good at many things, but not so much inventing, as we see in TTS; her trying to assist Hiccup and him being good-natured about it but entirely accidentally outclassing her
Jack very deliberately keeping his past and loneliness to himself, and the others figuring out something's off because they never catch him sleeping, he's pensive when he's not interacting with them, he's got such wide and extensive experience, and he starts admitting bits and pieces like "I'm older than I look" etc etc
Jack never openly getting angry with the kids because they're kids and he's a Guardian, so instead when one of them is upset or trying to pick a fight with him, his staff will glow brighter or it'll get cloudier or windier or snowier- his magic responds, but Jack refuses to, making his calm all the more scary.
Jack being the first to realize Rapunzel has been through Stuff and sitting down with her when the other two are asleep "what happened to you?" entirely gently and patiently because HE'S A GOOD BIG BROTHER DANGIT I WANT THIS SIDE OF HIM TO SHOW MORE-
Hiccup worrying/getting upset/doing that I Have To Stand Alone thing and Rapunzel approaching him like "you're not the only one who grew up alone, you know. It's okay to rely on us, we won't let you down"
Hiccup doing the I Have To Stand Alone thing in general cause I don't see that a lot in crossovers or at least the arts
The others finding Jack in weird places because super-balance go brr
Jack being reluctant to touch any of the kids for any reason because he doesn't want to see the way they treat him change once they realize how cold and inhuman he really is
Merida recognizing Jack immediately as the only other obviously competent fighter by the way he moves (she was raised around all manner of warriors and guards, after all) and immediately setting about allying herself with him because Heaven knows they all need as much protection as they can get
Merida helping Hiccup to have a moment like he has in the HTTYD books where he realizes he's actually a really amazing swordfighter when he actually uses his dominant hand

𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: kidnapping, mention of PTSD, weapons, threats (silent), drugs and forced drug use, death of Janet Drake, and mention of Jack Drake in the hospital, Jason is mansplaining, manipulating and manslaughter his way through this sequel.
𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: This took a while because I had a precise plan for this sequel, but writing this chapter, something possessed me and changed everything. So, now I'm not sure what's going to happen, it's all in destiny hands now on!!!
Thanks to our beta reader, the wonderful @igotmessymind for her work, as always, I appreciate you very much!!
Now, I would like to make a special mention of @andieperrie18, who made a playlist base on the Batmom Scarlet Witch.
And I need you to admire this masterpiece, because this playlist doesn't just include songs. NOO, It also has dialogue between Batmom and Bruce at the beginning, and it's just gold. Also go to check the other playlist in her channel, they have some good stuff. The small talks and slow dancing with Bruce Wayne is one of my favorites!!!
So, thank you very much to you @andieperrie18 for your love and the dedication it took to make this playlist. I don't have enough words to show my adoration and gratitude for this playlist. So everyone, please go give them love to the playlist while reading this chapter!!
𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐬 / Prelude / Next Part
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jason knew he was not walking on good ground. He hadn't been since he was revived in the Lazarus Pit. He hadn't been when he had killed criminals to try to control Gotham's crime. Nor when he had to escape from Arkham Asylum after Batman had locked him there, under the excuse that it was best for him.
Lies.
All were lies.
He knew it now more than ever as he looked at his wall.
Jason was sitting in an old chair facing the wall, where a variety of photos, newspaper clippings, maps, and notes were displayed.
Seeing that wall told him that he was definitely slipping into a new territory of madness.
But-he-couldn't-stop. It was like he was on a slide, and he couldn't dig his heels in to stop. A part of him didn't want to stop.
Just as he hadn't wanted to soften the news of his return to Bruce, that part of Jason wanted revenge with every atom of his true self. And now it was pushing him towards that wall.
Another part of him, though, didn't want to do this. It was the part that still made him want to put his hands in his mouth to eat his cuticles, like he had done as a child. That part wanted to approach you on the street, and calmly let you explain why you hadn't sought him out. So that he could move on somehow, in a way that would make you proud of how Jason had handled everything.
But you had abandoned him.
After Bruce found out he was alive, Jason had hoped that once he told you all of it, you'd show up at his door. Jason had been ready to listen to your logical arguments and leave the whole killing thing behind.
¿Who cared about revenge and Gotham if there was a chance to get back with his mom?
Not to Jason.
You didn't; you never showed up.
And now the part that wanted revenge was screaming too loud for him to hear anything else.
So there he was, sitting in a chair, arms crossed, as he carefully admired the wall he had created.
There were pictures of you picking up Timothy Drake from school, taking him shopping, hugging him at galas, and chatting with him at fashion events. Events that you had probably only been invited to, but you had convinced the team to let you take someone else, the same way you did with Jason when he was young. You probably took him to eat at your favorite restaurant every Friday after school, like they did with him. You probably also turned off the light in his room every night after saying goodnight, like you did with Jason.
No shame; you had given everything that was Jason's to that boy.
That's why you weren't looking for him when you found out he was alive. You had replaced him with that kid, the same way Bruce had, and you deserved the same kind of punishment.
You deserved his revenge. And you will receive it.
You were in your office, in your brand's office building, a few blocks from Wayne Tower, where your entire clothing brand has done most of its business since you married Bruce. The official and original store of your brand is still in Metropolis, where it all started, but you moved the main offices to Gotham when you got married. So all of your children spent time between Wayne Tower and your building.
Usually, that was where they ended up after school.
Tim was supposed to go there after school. Typically, you would go pick him up. But that day he was staying a few extra hours at school for his Debate Club, and he would walk with his friends to their houses and meet you before you left the office that afternoon. So you were surprised when, as you were evaluating some new designs, your phone lit up with your youngest son's phone number.
“Mom,” Tim’s voice immediately sounded on the other end of the phone when you answered. He sounded nervous.
“Tim, honey,” you said, looking up at the clock. “Did I forget to pick you up?”, and immediately, your mind goes into paranoia, convinced that Tim had asked you to go look for him, and that's why he was calling you, and you had forgotten.
“No, no. Mom, it's fine,” he assured you quickly. You could hear chatter in the background, like someone was encouraging him to talk. “Mom, do you know today is Friday, right?”
Obviously, you remembered that it was Friday. On Fridays, when Tim came home from school, the two of you would go out to dinner at your favorite restaurant as a traditional mother-son activity.
“Yes, I've noticed,” you said, closing the sketchbook to give the boy your full attention.
“And we always go to eat at Julián's on Fridays after school, without fail,” he continues explaining. You assumed he was going somewhere, so you murmured an affirmation. “Well, you saw Dylan, my chemistry classmate. He and others are going to eat at a pizzeria near the school, and they invited me. After eating, we are all going to go to his house to play video games. If you're okay with that, I would like to go. Or I'll just go eat and go back home early. I-” Tim was already in babbling territory; you could barely contain your laughter when you interrupted him.
“It's okay, Tim. I don’t mind a change of plans, darling,” you assured him, and you could see his shoulders relax even from your building. “I'll take advantage and visit your father's office; I'll ask him to accompany me on an impromptu date.”
“Okay, okay. Yes, that sounds good.” Tim was smiling as big as he could, while around him, his classmates were singing victory for the afternoon they had organized. “I'll let you know where we are and call you when it's time to come home. I love you.”
Before you could tell him that he didn't need to tell you exactly where to be and at what time, Tim hung up the call, too excited about the whole thing. To which you inevitably laughed, happy that Tim had an activity, say a boy his age, and that he was so excited about it. You had met Dylan a couple of times; he was a good kid, so you were sure everything would be fine.
Jason watched Tim walk with his friends all night.
After observing him for weeks, he realized that the chic lived based on a fairly consistent routine. One that repeated itself almost around the clock for some reason, but Jason suspected that it had to do with the post-traumatic stress the boy must have had after the Joker's attack on his biological parents the year before. The boy's mother was six meters underground, and his father was on medical care for life because of all this. Jason almost felt bad for him. Almost.
This also meant that you and Bruce were very aware of the boy's routine, so if Tim were to disappear for even a couple of hours, it would ruin your plan. So he chanced it, waiting for the ideal moment to feed his need for revenge.
So when the sixteen-year-old decided to leave school one afternoon in the company of a group of other kids his age, he was clearly not on his way to your office like he usually did.
Jason took the phone out of his pocket and gave the order to start.
The group of friends went into a hidden, but sufficiently crowded, pizzeria a few blocks from the house of the boy Dylan, to whom Tim seemed closest in the group.
Jason had quickly discovered that Tim was a smart kid. He was too smart for Jay to trick him or accidentally cause him to fall into a trap of some kind.
But he had also discovered that Tim was, like Bruce, an idiot for justice.
He had watched him risk his life more than necessary for civilians while he ran around as Robin, when Jason from afar could have found about five ways to save the civilians without getting in the way. Tim jumped in to save them with his own hands every time there was a lethal risk. It could be that the weight of not having helped his parents was still eating him alive too.
But one way or another, Jason would use that to his advantage.
Jason walked into the pizzeria, followed by five other men he knew Tim would recognize. It was because he had gotten them out of jail, especially because Robin had dragged them and put them there, with the aim of getting them to help him. The proposed men didn't know he was there for that reason; they were just doing their job for the money, unaware of the mental games Jason was playing with the teenager.
And Tim Drake understood what was going to happen the moment he saw Jason. She looked him in the eyes and smiled as she casually glanced at the table of the group of friends, who were still wearing their school uniforms.
“Timothy, little one,” Jason greeted casually, putting his hands in his pockets and watching as Tim's eyes went to the way that movement revealed the reflection of a gun on his hip. “I've been looking for you!!”
Jason knew exactly how Tim would react and looked at the situation. They had both been trained by the same man at the end of the day. They were a reflection of each other, and that is why it was a dangerous game. “Are you hungry, Timothy? Because I am starving.”
Jason wasn't talking about the pizzas, and Tim knew it quickly. But he couldn't do anything, not with Jason so armed and clearly accompanied. Both were surrounded by so many civilians, and Tim's friends. His new friends, who had been patient with him and had accepted him into his group, which he had been joining since they were children. But they still tried to integrate him and invited him to things, again and again, until that day he accepted for the first time in months.
The table had fallen silent at the extra situation, but Tim seemed to know the stranger who had sat down, so they didn't say anything. But Dylan, as kind and caring as he was, saw the way the color had drained from Tim's face. So he spoke.
“Don't worry, Dylan,” Jason told him, which took Dylan by surprise since he had never told the stager his name, and he got genuinely worried now. “He just needs something to drink; he's just dehydrated. Timmy works a lot and doesn’t take care of himself.”
While talking to Dylan, Tim watched as Jason grabbed his glass of soda that he had been drinking while they waited for the pizzas. Without anyone else noticing, Tim watched as Jason dropped a pill into the drink, which was probably intended to knock him out, or at least drug him enough to make it manageable for Jason.
All without anyone else noticing, just so he could see it and know what was going on. He was faced with the reality that he couldn't do anything, and he couldn't fight, not at such a potential price. He was trapped.
It made Tim feel alarmingly alone, despite being surrounded by people.
“Here, drink something.” Jason handed him the glass, where the gas from the soda easily hid the bubbles that the pill made as it dissolved. “It will do you good.”
The two stood face-to-face for a moment as the older brother offered the glass, and Jason didn't need to make the threat for Tim to understand.
Or Tim drank the soda and voluntarily sedated himself. Or he would get him out of there in a much more aggressive way. And some bullets could be lost in that situation, so Jason could make sure that his friends were the ones who received them.
Tim could see the decapitated bodies of Black Mask's lieutenants, found shortly after Red Hood appeared in Gotham, before Bruce discovered his identity.
So he grabbed the glass and brought it to his mouth. Tim gave Jason a last pleading look, to which the boy just smiled sweetly. And your youngest son just wanted to scream for you, but you didn't know Jason was alive, and you suspected that's exactly what Jason wanted.
He wouldn't put you in danger.
Bruce would handle everything; Tim trusted that.
Tim downed the glass of soda in four gulps and didn't remember anything else after that.

WhoGoesThere? || Eyeless Jack || Part two
Tumblr media
tw: the tiniest bit of blood
Jack hadn’t seen you for a few days.
He tried to casually stalk the area you two had met, hoping you’d come back. Sometimes he’d even sleep in the trees, hoping that you’d wake him up. Yet that hadn’t happened, until tonight.
He could smell the liquor from a mile away, a mixture of your scent flooding his nostrils. He inhaled deeply, his ears twitching as he focused on the sounds of the forest. He could hear it. Your heartbeat. It sounded oddly slowed, but your blood sounded like it was working harder than usual to pump through your heart.
Jack ran towards it, not caring about how far away he was straying from his usual path. The deeper he sprinted away from Slender’s forest, the less protection he’d have. But he could hear you. He could smell you. The liquor. Something was wrong.
Very wrong.
Jack feared the worst as he sprinted in your direction. Were you hurt and attending to a wound? He didn’t doubt your ability to heal yourself, but Jack had years of practice on the proxies. Who were literal people to practice on. He reached a different part of the forest, one he hadn’t been to before. The sun had freshly set, the moon just coming into view in the sky. His gaze landed on you, your small figure leaning against a tree for support. Jack rushed over to you, helping you stand upright.
“Hey? Are you alright?” He asked, his words rushed. Your mascara was smudged, your eyes glazed with a fresh layer of tears, and in your hand sat a bottle of vodka. “Jack..? What are you doing here?” You slurred. Jack curiously looked behind you, noticing what he assumed to be your college dorm was less than fifty feet away. Your small black dress was riding up your thighs, revealing cuts that covered your left hand and upper legs. “What happened to you?” He questioned. You practically fell onto him when you tried to stand up on your own. He grabbed you, his large hand cupping your waist. He ignored how flustered it made him feel, looking over his shoulder.
“Those fuckers made me drop my pink vodka. Now i’m left with this cheap shit,” You say bitterly. Jack noticed a few of the partiers were looking into the woods. Jack couldn’t risk being seen, nor could he risk you returning to a party in your condition. He hoped the shadows of the trees and nightfall had concealed him enough. “Let’s get you cleaned up,” Jack said calmly. You turned around, flipping off the party still in full swing. “Yeah! You hear that fuckers?! Jacks a real man!” You yelled. Jack could feel heat rushing to his cheeks. You were stumbling as he attempted to help you. He sighed, picking you up bridal style instead. You squirmed at first, the bottle of alcohol slipping out of your grasp.
“Hey! Thats mine!” You fussed. Your squirming didn’t affect Jacks grip on you at all. He continued to walk into the forest, concluding that bottle was the very last thing you needed. “We’ll come back for it later. We need to get you cleaned up,” He said softly. You drunkenly crossed your arms, sighing. “I’m gonna be a doctor I can take care of myself,” You muttered. Jack would’ve rolled his eyes if he had them. He continued to take you deeper into the woods, knowing the journey was going to be long. He needed to make it into Slender’s forest, a safe cabin planted right along the border.
It was designed as protection from The Rake, but was mostly used current day for creeps who needed somewhere to crash without questions. “Where are you taking me?” You murmured. Jack was thankful for his acute hearing, your words running together as you spoke. “Somewhere safe. Somewhere where you can’t trip over your own two feet,” Jack explained. You stuck out your legs, pointing at your heels. “I’ll have you know that these are Ralph Lauren heels! They’re worth every trip I take,” You argued. You were feeling groggy, your drunkenness weighing on your shoulders. “I stole them from my roommate, since I know you’re wondering how I could afford them,” You explained. That was in fact, not what Jack was thinking at all, but he decided not to intervene with your train of thought.
“Do you enjoy partaking in substances?” Jack asked. He stepped over an overgrown root of a tree, careful to not disturb you. “Doesnt every college student?” You said, your tone argumentative. Your eyebrows raised as you looked up at your masked friend. “How old are you anyways?” You questioned. Jack tried to not tense, swallowing as he trudged forward. The correct answer was unknown. Physically Jack had stopped aging at twenty five. The better question was, how long had Jack been twenty five? He had lost count of the years, the cycle of his routine repeating mercilessly without intervention. That was of course, until he met you.
“Isn’t it rude to ask someone their age?” Jack mused. He had heard that before, when Ben decided to ask Jane how old she was. “That only works on women bozo. As long as you aren’t like fifty this is fine,” You mumbled. Jack was puzzled. Something he thought he knew about human culture was wrong. Huh. He had a lot to learn from you. “I’m not fifty,” Jack chuckled. He wasn’t physically, anyways. He was the oldest of the creeps he had met. And they weren’t even demons. Only Slenderman was older than him. Jack sighed in relief as the cabin came into sight. “Good. I have daddy issues but not that bad,” You grumbled.
Jack couldn’t help but wonder about you and your life. Intoxication made you more honest and talkative. Maybe beyond a certain point of appropriateness, considering he had met you less than a week ago. But you didn’t care about any social construct of what you could or couldn’t discuss early on in a friendship. Jack liked that. He kicked open the old cabin door, noting the amount of dust. He brought you over to the kitchen counter, setting you down on the cool marble. “Where are you going?” You asked, confused. Jack made sure you could sit upfront before taking a step back. “I’m just grabbing a first aid kit,” He replied. He knew exactly where it was, having planted it there himself.
He was back in a flash, kneeling in front of you. He tried his hardest to ignore how short your dress was. “I could do this myself you know,” You protested weakly. Jack shook his head, forcing himself to look at the little cuts that stained your otherwise perfect skin. Jack didn’t know which was harder, ignoring the fresh blood that was prickling from your wounds or the fact your cunt was inches away from his face. Even with his mask on he could smell how delicious your scent was. Especially your blood. He grabbed a rubbing alcohol wipe, tearing the package open. “This may sting. You may want to grab onto something,” Jack advised cautiously. He was surprised when you leaned forward, putting your hand on his shoulder.
You grabbed a handful of his hoodie, your eyes screwed shut as if you feared the worst. He knew it was best to avert your attention from his work as he patched you up. “So, did you know anyone at that party?” He asked. He wiped the small cuts, a hiss escaping your lips. Jack held your leg still, wiping off the dirt and grim as well. “Sort of. I only went because of Ryan. He’s this fourth year psychics major,” You admitted. Jack set the dirty wipe aside, grabbing a clean one. “What’s Ryan to you?” Jack asked curiously. You flinched as Jack wiped your other leg, noticing a piece of glass peaking out of your skin. “A cute guy,” You answered honestly.
Cautiously Jack set the wipe aside, grabbing the tweezers. He had to word his next questions carefully, his blunt way of talking going to make you uneasy. “How is your pursuit going?” He asked. He firmly held your leg into place, grabbing the edge of the glass. He knew if he warned you that you’d freak out, especially with the alcohol clouding your senses. Instead he yanked it out steadily but quickly, causing you to yelp. “Fuck! What the fuck!” You screeched. Jack was sure The Rake might’ve been able to hear you with how loud your scream was. He set the piece of glass aside, bringing a damp towel to your now oozing wound.
“I’m sorry. You had glass stuck in there,” Jack apologized. You took deep breaths, your vision getting spotty. Jack could see the paleness in your face, your lips turning white along with it. He brought his hand to yours, giving it a squeeze. “Hey. Stay with me. How’s the pursuit of Ryan?” Jack asked, trying to keep you conscious. You swallowed, your mouth dry. “Terrible. It’s nerve racking every time I like a guy,” You admitted. Jack applied pressure to your wound, trying to ignore the smell of metal invading his nostrils. “Whys that?” He asked. He went to remove his hand, your small one pawing at his to stay in place.
“Because i’m a virgin,” You confessed. Jack was sure if it were possible he was blushing. The mere confession made him flustered, his eye sockets widening. “Don’t make it so obvious you’re judging me,” You grumbled. Jack cleared his throat, pulling his hand away and removing the damp towel. “Not judging, just surprised,” He admitted. You peeled open your eyes, looking down at him. You wished you could see his facial expression under his mask. “Whys that?” You asked. Jack could hear your heart slowing down. You weren’t losing too much blood, but you were definitely minutes away from being unconscious. “Here let’s get you laid down,” Jack suggested. He picked you up, laying you down on the kitchen floor. He pulled down your dress, adamant to not let his lust curve his intentions of taking care of you.
“Answer me. Why are you surprised?” You asked. Jack grabbed a few bandages, putting the first one on. “Because you’re absolutely beautiful. Any guy who doesn’t see that is blind,” Jack answered honestly. You felt your face flush pink, your eyes looking around the cabin to avoid looking at him. It was then you sat up, your vision getting spotty again. “I have an idea!” You announced. Jack went to guide you to lay down, his hands on your shoulders. You grabbed his wrist, giving him a big smile. “I really think you should lay down,” Jack insisted. You shook your head. “Wait wait. Hear me out. Why don’t I have sex with you?” You asked. Jacks heart skipped a beat, heat rushing to his cock.
He tried to ignore it, swallowing and focusing on the thumping of your heart. “Why me?” He asked. You felt yourself getting nervous, your eyes avoiding his gaze. “It saves me from losing my v card to some bozo. Besides, i’m sure you can teach me all sorts of things, right?” You asked, tilting your head to the side. Jack had an attractive aura, as odd as that sounded. His voice was deep and his hands were aesthetically pleasing. He carried you like you were as light as a feather. It only made you wonder how he could throw you around in the bedroom. “You’re drunk,” Jack said simply. He couldn’t believe you wanted that. Wanted him.
“Jackkkk i’m serious,” You protested. Jack wrapped your final wound, before picking you up once more. “So am I. If you remember this conversation we’ll discuss it tomorrow,” Jack said. He was trying his hardest to remain composed as he laid you down on the bed. He unzipped your heels, sliding them off of you and allowing them to fall to the floor. He helped you under the blanket, trying his hardest to ignore your dress riding up your thighs again. He went to stand and leave, turning his back to you. Your meek voice stopped him dead in his tracks, “Where are you going? Please don’t go.”
Jack felt pity, swallowing as he turned around. He grabbed a dusty old rocking chair, pulling up to the side of your bed. “It’s okay. Close your eyes. I’ll be here in the morning,” Jack said. You then allowed your head to fall against the foreign pillow, your eyes fluttering shut. Jack didn’t know what to make of you. Your life. Your confession. Your request. He didn’t know what to do with you. Yet you pulled at his heart strings, ones he didn’t even know existed. He shifted in his seat, watching you peacefully drift off to unconsciousness. Once he was sure your heart beat had slowed enough, he slid off his mask. He inhaled the cool night air deeply, the oxygen flowing much better through his system when his mask was lifted.
Jack inhaled deeply once more, making himself comfortable in his chair. He knew he’d be there for a while.

"hello, y/n," bruce says as you quickly enter his office, aware that you're a few minutes late.
"hi, bossman." you say, smiling wide as you enter. you place his iced coffee down on a coaster at his desk.
"thanks for deciding to show up." he groans, pushing himself away from his laptop, needing a break from staring at the screen.
"i’m only like five minutes late." you pout. "it's just because your coffee was taking a long time and—"
"no, i don't care about that." bruce shook his head quickly. the second he saw you in the lobby, among the line of people waiting to be interviewed for being his secretary, he knew you'd be chosen.
you were wearing a tight pink shirt that showed off your cleavage and a skirt that was clearly bought just for the interview.
"oh, okay." all the negative emotions you were feeling disappeared as you shrugged.
"but i do need you for something. come here." bruce beckons you over and you move quickly to the other side of the desk.
"what is it you need?" you ask, quirking your head to the side.
"i need you to help me relief some stress." he grunts, adjusting the front of his pants from where he's painfully pressing against the zipper.
"okay, like a massage?" you question. you're not sure what the normal functions of a secretary to a ceo entails, but for how much you're getting paid, you're willing to do pretty much anything.
"yes, a massage." bruce nods enthusiastically. "exactly. and i have one place that really needs to be massaged."
"okay…" you nod, figuring it's his shoulders or his back. instead, bruce tugs at his zipper and pulls his painfully hard cock out.
"oh my god!" you squeal, covering your face quickly, palms smacking against your cheeks.
"no, no." he says calmly. "this is a part of the job."
"i... are you sure?"
"yes. now come give me a massage so i can get back to work."
"okay..." you take a better look at his dick, hard and long, it was huge. you grab your desk chair from the corner of the room and drag it towards him.
you sit down next to him, glancing again between his eyes and his exposed cock. bruce gives you an encouraging nod, and there's no way your boss would lie to you, right?
your hand reaches out to grasp his cock, swallowing thickly to ignore the urge to wrap your lips around it as you begin to stroke him.
"is that good?" you question.
"yeah, so good, just keep going." bruce relaxes into his chair, plush and comfortable for the long hours he spends in the office, always arriving before you and leaving long after you've called it quits for the day.
you reach your other hand forward as well, working his length with both hands. you tug your lower lip between your teeth, focusing on his pleasure as you jack him off.
bruce keeps mostly quiet. however, you notice a slight increase in the noise of his exhales, but not quite yet a sigh. you leave one hand moving up and down his length and bring the other to the head of his cock, moving in teasing swirls before swiping the pad of your thumb right over his tip.
"oh, that's good." he mutters, his eyes blinking hard to stay open, wanting to remember exactly what it's like to have you leaning forward, tits almost spilling out as your hands work on his cock.
"anything for you boss." you smile. you do love working for him. being his secretary is mostly just dealing with his schedule.
"you’re really good at massages." he smirks.
"thanks." you feel your cheeks blush, face heating. it's hard to get a compliment out of bruce. the nicest thing you think he's ever done is when you caught him staring at your ass as you walked away.
"keep doing that." he says when you cup your hand over the head of his cock, rubbing your palm against his leaky tip.
"okay." you hum again. your other hand keeps stroking over his length, squeezing just enough to have his lower jaw dropping in pleasure.
you both jump when the phone begins to ring. bruce reaches over to quickly end the call until he sees who it is.
"stop, it's tokyo," bruce whispers as your hands continue to move. even though you stay out of the business side, you know how significant the company's japanese partners are.
"answer it!" you squeal, your hands continuing their movement.
bruce know he can't keep them waiting so he quickly accepts the call, trying to fix his voice while you stare at him, still stroking almost absentmindedly up and down his cock.
he answers questions from representative as you drop one hand down to fondle his balls, squeezing your hand into the opening in his pants to touch them.
bruce pulls the phone away from his mouth as he lets out a quiet curse, eyes pleading for you to stop, but you can't make yourself, and bruce certainly won't push your hands away when he's longed to have them on him for so long.
his voice is shaky as he answers their questions, his cock pulsing in your hand, tip turning pink as you realize what is about to happen.
you look around for something to catch his cum with as his cock pulses in your hand but you come up with nothing, so you drop your head and wrap your mouth around the head of his cock just as he begins to cum, sucking gently to empty him as you obediently swallow.
your hands fall away as you look up at him, lips locked around his cock. you give one final suck that has him gasping before covering it up with a cough before you pull off of him with a pop.
"shit." he groans as the call finally ends.
"is your stress relieved now?" you ask, somehow still looking the perfect mix of sexy and innocent even though your lipstick was smeared from his cock.
"yes." he nods. "and next time i want a massage with your mouth."

Minho feels like hurling his pillow across the room when he hears that melodic chime.
"Good morning, everyone!"
He forces himself to wake up and sits on the bed, covering half of his face with the duvet. He doesn't want to look see you and gets reminded that you chose to sleep with someone else but it's hard when you're right there in front of him.
-
MINHO: If I didn't like her, I wouldn't be this upset.
-
"No one broke the rules last night, right?" Bryan asks, worrying so much about the money that he forgets about the lady sitting next to him.
Zara slumps down the bed and picks on her nails, she surely won't be answering him because nothing happened between them.
"I heard you guys," Agnes turns her head in your direction.
"Heard what?" You ask with an innocent smile.
Agnes flashes you a sly smile, "something was going on last night," she wildly guesses.
You scoff and break into a dry laugh, turning to Jack to make him answer it for you.
He clears his throat before calmly answering, "Nah, nothing happens."
Jack moves like a snake. It's only yesterday that he sneakily kissed two girls in one night, not afraid of going against two guys at once. One thing he learned is that a calm face of Jack could be a lie.
He can't listen to what Lana is saying when he's focused on seeing you playing with Jack's hair. He takes it that you're trying to make him jealous.
Well, if that's a game you want to play with him, just know that you're playing a tricky one.
-
MINHO: It would be a lie to say that I wouldn't be upset if she did break another rule with Jack. Am I going to tell her that? No.
-
Minho spends the morning doing his upper body workout with Jai. There's no gym equipment that he usually uses for his routine but he'll manage with some dumbbells.
"Who would have thought, huh?"
Was Minho too busy controlling his breathing to hear him talking or Jai just asked him something without giving him the context?
He drops the dumbbell and glances his way, "What were you saying?"
Jai also stops doing squats while holding a dumbbell between his legs, "Who would have thought that Jack is going to be our competitor?" He says as he's catching his breath.
Minho feels repulsed even at the mention of his name. He's not interested in giving an opinion on Jack but he only realized now that he's working out with another guy who went through the same thing with him.
"He's so slick," Jai says, then carefully puts down his dumbbell back in its place.
"Fucking dude got game," he adds.
That's what pissed him off too. He didn't expect that guy would ever dare to touch his ego but he did, Minho just won't admit it.
Minho picks a heavier dumbbell from the rack, "How are things with Agnes?"
Jai wipes the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand, "I appreciated it that she was being honest to me about her feelings afterward but I—"
He catches his breath to continue talking, "I need to play it safe for now."
Minho nods and sits on the concrete to cool down with the help of the cool morning air blowing from the sea. Jai is following suit and takes off his top as his body is wet with sweat.
"What about last night though?" Jai asks back, leaning back with his hands propped behind him.
"It was tense, mate. Everyone was on the edge," he lightly chuckles while looking out at the beach.
To be honest, he shouldn't be asking this to him because it's you who chooses to sleep with someone else so Minho nonchalantly shrugs.
Jai scratches his chin, "Have you tried having another conversation with her?"
Minho shakes his head, "I need time," he concisely explains.
"You're not sure about her or... you're not sure about your feelings for her?"
That is such a profound question that Minho is frazzled, he doesn't know how to answer that. It's too early to say he has feelings but he does feel something.
"I miss her," Minho innocently admits.
He shakes the front of his sleeveless top to let the air in, "but the way she acts... I'm not okay with that."
Jai briefly looks at him and nods, "That's fair."
-
MINHO: I need time and see things through [shrugs]
-
Drops of water are dripping down his body as Minho walks back to the house after having a quick dip at the beach to wash the sweat from working out.
He doesn't expect to see you sitting by the pool with Jack swimming not far away from you, chatting.
"....the blue?" You ask.
"The color matches the sky," Jack says.
Minho believes he's complimenting the bikini you're wearing today, one piece with sky blue color and thin straps crisscrossing on the back.
"You too. You look good today," you compliment back.
"Oh, thank you," Jack answers, flashing a quick look at Minho as he walks past behind you.
His dislike grows more intense with the way Jack is toying with his ego and he hates it even more because you choose to be on his side.
Minho wishes that everyone just leave him alone but that is impossible because he's not the boss in this house. He puts on anything he packed with him, a black shirt and blue jeans.
The night hasn't started but it's worse already. When he walks into the bedroom, he sees you again with Jack on the bed, just talking with Agnes, Jai, and Luca from their beds.
Minho is about to turn on his feet and walk out until the cone in the middle of the room lights up and dings.
"Hello, everyone!"
"Yes, Lana!" Agnes lazily replies to her, dropping her head on Jai's shoulder.
"Please assemble in the cabana!"
Minho wastes no time but be the first to head there, telling Zara and Bryan whom he met on the way. It's certainly that time of the day when Lana is going to announce rule breaks.
Everyone takes a seat at the long sofa and Minho sits at the farthest end, away from you.
"Jack, did you dare some girls to kiss you today?" Luca jokes.
Jack only grins in response and Minho wishes he didn't care but God, his blood is boiling.
-
MINHO: If they did break a rule, then... there's nothing I can do anymore to save it.
-
Here comes the melodic chimes and Alia gasps next to him.
"I have some news," Lana announces.
Bryan takes a deep breath, then says, "Let's hear it!"
"Last night, there was an incident of sexual contact," Lana shares.
His eyes dart in your direction because the first thing that crosses his mind is that you did break a rule with Jack.
"Oh... who is it?" Alia quietly asks.
Everyone starts to assume that it's you as well since Agnes pointed it out this morning.
"We didn't rule break," you assure everyone.
Jack doesn't say anything but points at Lana, "You guys won't trust me anyway so I'll just let Lana speak," he coyly says.
Minho didn't do anything therefore he shouldn't be this anxious. However, Lana has been quiet for a moment, probably giving everyone a chance to confess anything.
He sees you taking a long, deep breath when Lana calls your name then Jack.
A part of him wishes he can get this thing over with so he can move on but another part of him wishes that it's not true. The latter part is bigger than the other, to be honest.
"They did..."
Minho silently holds his breath, nervous for what's to come. Starting over with someone new is not a bad thing but
"... not break any rules last night," Lana finally continues.
It's like he can finally breathe properly again and he glances your way, seeing you giving everyone the I-told-you-so smile.
-
MINHO: They didn't lose any money so yeah... [smiles] that's good.
-
"However," Lana suddenly adds.
"There was another incident that violated the rules."
Minho is still caught up on the previous announcement that he's unaware that someone else has broken the rules instead, not you.
"These things always come out so better fess up," Alia says, craning her neck to look around and scan for any guilty faces.
Minho catches Jai is quietly grinning and the last time he grinned, thousands of dollars lost from the prize fund.
"You're grinning," Minho points out.
"Jai..." Bryan calls him like a father who catches his children doing something bad.
"No, I'm good," Jai says with a crisp laugh and he may have covered his lie well.
Meanwhile, Agnes is uneasily rubbing her neck and sheepishly smiling at her lap.
"Agnes, you have something to say?" Zara asks.
Agnes can only keep her face straight for a second before it crumbles down, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry," she repeatedly apologizes.
Jai quickly does damage control, "It happened not long ago. In the shower. We got a bit carried," he butchered the sentences.
"Just tell us what you did!" Bryan impatiently says.
"I gave him a handy," Agnes shyly answers.
Minho can hear Alia groan next to him and everyone else mutters so many things at once but shows the same sheer disgust.
"This rule break has resulted in $8,000 being deducted from the prize fund."
What they did is selfish but Minho understands that Jai got that urge, he even shared with him earlier that his balls hurt so much that he needs a release.
An intrusive thought pops in his head and Minho's urge is to speak his intrusive thoughts out.
He looks at Jai and asks, "Did you finish though?"
"We were showering together and I just sort of touched it, then I realized that we shouldn't do it," Agnes answers for him.
"We lost money and you still have blue balls," Luca lays out the facts for everyone.
-
MINHO: That's the most expensive hand job I've ever heard and he didn't even climax [sniggers]
-
"The prize fund now stands at $150,000," Lana updates.
Bryan's eyes almost popped out of their sockets when he heard it. He rubs his chin and inhales air through his nostrils.
"We spent $50,000 in three days," he says.
It's scarier when he says it with a blank expression, it's his big posture that adds suspense to his words. Minho is smart enough to know to never pick a fight with him.
"There has been a total of eight rule breaks. Jai and Agnes have been responsible for half of these breaches," Lana continues.
"Wow!" Zara exclaims on behalf of everyone.
"Jai and Agnes," Lana calls.
Their faces turn tense at the mention of their names.
"To show me you are committed to the process. I am putting you both to the ultimate test."
Agnes covers her eyes as if that would help her to escape reality, "Oh my God!" She mutters, so full of worries.
"In order to pass, you need to demonstrate self-control and show you can form a real connection without breaking my rules."
"Oh, no!" Jack groans as he reclines on the sofa.
"Therefore, you will spend the night alone in the private suite."
Opposite to Agnes's distressed expression, Jai just can't stop grinning, it seems like he's going to enjoy having a room just for themselves.
"There's no way!" Bryan is so quick to judge that they will fail the test.
-
MINHO: Well, I'm with Bryan on this one.
-
"If you refrain from breaking the rules, I'll put $20,000 back in the prize fund," Lana adds as a form of encouragement for them to not break any rules.
Everyone is cheering but Minho still doubts that they will make it through the night without touching each other. They broke rules with everyone in the room so what makes everyone think that they will not break any rules when it's just the two of them in the room together?
"One more reason to not spend money!" Luca says.
Bryan leans forward and looks at them, "Just don't do anything. That's it!" He warns them.
Minho looks around and it seems like he's not the only one thinking that they'll spend money tonight.
"Jai and Agnes, please make your way to the private suite!" Lana orders.
"We will not do anything," Jai promises to everyone before turning around to leave, not forgetting to flash his sly grin.
-
MINHO: No [shakes head] I don't trust that grin.
-
The night is still long but with Lana sending Jai and Agnes to the private suite and probably would cost everyone more money than giving them back, everyone is too restless to enjoy the rest of the night.
Minho is enjoying the quiet and the faint sounds of the waves crashing from afar when he feels someone else sitting down next to him on the small sofa.
He turns his head to the side to see you're smiling at him.
"Hi, how are you?" You ask, shifting your body to the side to face him.
Minho smiles back at you, "good," he replies.
You put your legs up and fold them together, "I get why you're upset and I'm sorry," you say with a sincere apology.
You grab his hand resting along the headrest of the sofa and put his hand in yours, "but now you know that I don't like Jack that way. He doesn't get me excited but you do."
You lean in close but keep a safe space between your face, "You turn me on, not Jack."
Minho can't help but feel flattered to hear it. People get flirty with him all the time but he likes how you're forthright and open.
"Yeah?"
"Duh!" You answer with a dramatic eye roll.
-
MINHO: I'm glad she understands why I was so upset and I don't see why we can't move on from this.
-
Minho snickers at you and you slyly smile at him, "You don't need more time, you need to get back on the bed with me," you tell him.
Last night was weird, to be honest, Minho knows that Alia has something for him but she's not exactly sharing the bed with him by choice.
You put your leg over his leg, rubbing your heeled feet against his thigh, "Come on, don't you miss cuddling with me?" You ask with your eyes sparkling and your eyebrows downturn, a combination that works well to make him can't say no to it.
Minho nods with a suppressed smile on his face.
Your smile grows wider, "Tonight?"
He verbally answers it this time, "Yes."
The next thing he knows, you throw yourself at him and kiss his neck. You pull away to look at him and mewl, "I want to kiss you so much."
And he wants the same thing.
You probably think he doesn't care but oftentimes, he can't help himself but look at you, especially with you dressed so impeccably in a skin-tight dress that enhances every curve of your body.
"Why not?" He asks you since you didn't hesitate to kiss him the first time you broke a rule.
You make eyes to the cone perched on top of the small table, silently watching everything in the corner.
"How about we put her into a box and send her to the open sea?" Minho suggests a wild idea, sending you bursts into laughter.
-
MINHO: She's so hot. I just want to kiss her.
-
It seems like you already told Jack about the bed situation. Minho would love to evict him out of the bed himself but alas, he's already tucked in with Alia.
He throws the extra cushions to the floor and puffs each pillow to make it comfortable to sleep on. He must admit that it feels good to claim his place back.
Minho is listening to everyone chatting about random things from their respective beds when the door swings open and he sees you coming. You squeal as you jump right onto the bed next to him.
It's so cute seeing you excited for a simple thing like this, he gets the impression that you do like him more than he thinks you are.
You spread his arm out to rest your head on it and snuggle to his side, "Isn't it nice, mmh?"
Without looking at you, he replies with a hum, "mmh."
The hand resting on his chest moves to his neck, and then you slip it into his hair, gently brushing it between your fingers.
"At first, I thought this is your real hair color," your warm breath tickles his ear as you speak.
"Orange suits you well," you compliment with a sweet kiss on the cheek, then place another kiss on a different spot.
Mischievous, he turns his head to the side and offers you his lips next. You giggle and turn his head away, but he keeps turning his head at you with puckering lips.
"No more spending!" Bryan reminds everyone the second the lights are turned off.
You face the other way, probably to stop yourself from being tempted to rule break.
Minho has another idea, frankly, he has a lot of ideas but they're all against the rules. First, he puts his hand on your waist and pulls you close until your body molds against him.
He puts his hand across your chest and slowly puts his hand around your neck, turning your head to the side so he can look at your face.
He teases you by rubbing his lips on your jaw and softly places a kiss on the skin behind your ear. He presses his mouth close to your neck and stays there, drinking in your heavenly scent.
You catch up fast on his intention and lowly laugh, "We can't break another rule," you tell him.
That only makes him drag his lips back on your jaw again, there's not much you can do when he can angle your head with his hand around your neck.
You stifle a breath as his lips are hovering dangerously close to your lips, you hurriedly move your head away.
"Technically speaking, I'm only one rule break away from Lana sending us to the private suite," you explain.
He smirks with his lips against the side of your face, "even better!"
-
MINHO: The things I want to do to her in the private suite [smirks] I think we'd leave the retreat with a huge debt.
-
Lana chimes the first thing in the morning.
"Good morning, everyone!" She greets.
Minho refuses to wake up and pulls the duvet to cover his face. The day has barely started but he feels tired already, he believes it's because his mental has been perpetually put in tests in this retreat.
"The breakfast menu today includes toast and freshly squeezed juice."
You delightfully hum in response, "Sounds yum!"
"Served with a side of celibacy. Enjoy!" Lana adds a snide remark at the end.
"She got a bit of lip on her today, eh?" Jack says.
Which reminds Minho to look to the side and see you. He can't lie but he likes waking up next to you again. You hold his face as you place a soft peck on his cheek before lifting yourself to sit with your back against the headboard of the bed.
Minho scoots to you and puts his head on your lap, letting you play with his tousled hair.
"Who else thinks that Jai and Agnes messed up?" Luca asks while roughly brushing his hair to the back with his fingers.
Minho looks around to see Maisie is the first to raise her hand next to Luca, then Zara and Bryan. He looks straight ahead and sees that Jack also votes the same but you, you're just sitting on the bed with a blank expression on and your hand brushing his hair.
"Ugh, sorry, no faith," Alia comments with a sneering smile.
-
MINHO: I just hope that when they come back, I don't see Jai grinning from ear to ear.
-
In contrast to having no faith in them, everyone is cheering once they see Jai and Agnes entering the bedroom.
"They seem to be happy," you mutter.
Minho agrees because when he looks at the most spending couple in the retreat so far, he notices the slightly wicked grin plastered on Jai's face.
-
MINHO: Oh no, I see the grin.
-
"Do we get the $20,000 back? Yes or no?" Bryan wastes no time to ask the most important question.
They both sit at the end of their bed and all the eyes are directed toward them.
Instead of answering, Agnes boasts about the private suite.
"Incredible! There were flowers, champagne, a massive bed, condoms, and stuff. We took a bath—"
Bryan slightly shakes his head and presses his lips together into a thin smile.
"We don't care," Luca cuts through their small talk and tries again, "We want to know if we get the $20,000 back!"
Minho watches as Jai and Agnes exchange a look between them, probably deciding which one of them should break the news. It's too early to worry about money but he can't help but get as nervous as everyone else.
Agnes stifles a breath and apologizes, "I'm so sorry, you guys."
Then a smile blooms on her face, "but we won the 20 grand back! Yay!"
Maisie and Zara start bouncing on their beds but Luca once again decides to be the one to slice through everyone's happiness.
"I won't believe a thing until Lana confirms it," Luca states.
Everyone is back in panic mode and waits until the cone lights up, signifying her appearance.
"Jai and Agnes," Lana begins.
"Last night, you were able to spend time away from the group to get to know each other on a deeper level."
Everyone gives them a round of applause thinking that that's just it.
"However," Lana continues.
-
MINHO: I started to hate that word. However [mimics Lana]
-
Minho closes his eyes to brace himself for the worst outcomes.
"You still broke the rules last night," Lana announces.
The atmosphere turns dark despite the sunny weather outside can be seen outside the windows.
"What did you do, Agnes, babe?" You ask, your voice goes higher at the end of the sentence.
She aggressively shakes her head, "I swear to God we didn't do anything!"
Jai nods, "Nah, we didn't even kiss," he defends Agnes's remarks.
Minho's eyes are swinging side to side to see who's lying.
-
MINHO: But Lana can't be lying, right?
-
"There were incidents of excessive grinding and self-touching," Lana pulls out the receipts right away.
Agnes lets herself collapse onto the bed and repeatedly chants, "Nah, nah, nah, nah..."
You stop playing with Minho's hair and turn to look at Agnes, "You didn't plan on riding anything so why did you rev up your engine?"
Minho can't tell if you're upset or amused hearing your question but it looks hot to him nonetheless.
"These breaches have resulted in a deduction of $10,000."
Instead of getting some money back, Jai and Agnes cost everyone more money. Everyone was right to not trust them.
Agnes hugs Jai from the back and whines, "So sorry, you guys."
The grin on Jai's face has been replaced with tensed jaws and a big sigh coming out of his parted mouth.
"We woke up happy and we didn't think that we would have lost more money, so truly sorry," Jai emphasizes every word to show how sincere he is with what he's saying.
Since everyone has expected this though, they can't say anything else but try to move on with the day.
-
MINHO: The day has only just begun but we already lost ten grand.
-
It's not getting any easier for Minho.
He finds it getting harder to resist and not when he sees you walking around, looking hot and slyly smiling at him. Sometimes the temptation comes when he least expected it, he steps into the bathroom and finds you bending down against the sink as you fix your make-up.
The black bikini you're wearing today doesn't help either, it's so tiny, covering just the important bits. It's so obvious that you notice him right away.
"You can see as much as you want but you can't touch, sir," you tell him while you move on to the other eye and carefully wipe the excess makeup with a Q-tip.
There's nothing that can stop him from ogling over you. If anything, he so badly wanted to feel those beautiful curves of your ass with his own hands.
He refrained though, but decides to use the towel he's holding and slaps your ass with it.
"Harder," you tell him.
Laughing, he slaps you harder with the towel.
"Harder, come on, don't be shy!" You dare him, also laughing along with him.
-
MINHO: It's getting hard, not only figuratively but like... literally.
-
Lana gathers everyone in the cabana when it's usually time to get ready for the night.
She's not wasting time on greeting everyone first, "To further aid your further growth, you must learn to resist your urges."
"I don't like this," you immediately remark even though Lana hasn't announced anything yet.
"So, I am putting some of you to the test."
You glance at Minho and pout, resting your head on his shoulder after.
"I have arranged two dates," Lana announces.
A few coo in wonder and also, feel a little suspicious that Lana suddenly sending people on dates.
-
MINHO: [Shrugs] There's always a catch.
-
"Both with new arrivals."
Minho grins because he's right, there's always a catch. He catches you notice him and scrunches your nose.
"The first new arrival is... Esme!"
He can't know the look of someone just from her name but it's exciting for everyone because there hasn't been a new face for a while now.
"I have allowed the new arrivals to select who they want to ask out on their date."
Minho can feel that you're getting tense next to him. It's easy to tell that you're afraid this new girl is going to choose him. Even Minho himself is not that confident, so what should you worry about?
"Esme has chosen... Jai."
Minho darts his eyes at Jai and there's the grin again, "Are you happy?"
His question puts Jai in a predicament but that's why Minho enjoys it.
Jai scratches the back of his head and coyly answers, "It is what it is."
Just as expected, Minho knows that Jai would be more than happy for the chance to get on a date with another girl. He's off to a bad start already with Agnes frowning next to him.
-
MINHO: They failed the ultimate test and now they're being tested again by the new girl. Lana, you're evil but I like you.
-
"And date number two will be with Noah," Lana continues.
The gasp you let out is unmissable, he can hear the slight excitement in it. He doesn't want to be affected by it but the thought that you may get picked to get on a date quite irritates him.
"He is also allowed to choose his partner for the date."
Minho chooses not to care whether you get picked or not. He's going to be cool about either way.
"He has chosen..."
You sit up straighter and lean forward as if that would help you hear better.
"Zara."
-
MINHO: Oh okay, that was thrilling.
-
"Jai and Zara, you may now leave for your dates."
Everyone is weakly cheering and you gently slap at Zara's butt as she walks past you.
"Be good," you mutter to her.
You let out a sigh as you rest your head on his shoulder, "Look at Bryan," you whisper.
Minho can see the panic on his face, gritting his teeth with his jaws clenched like that. He lowly chuckles, "It's going to be hard for him."
You shake your head, "No, it's going to be hard for Zara to not break the rules."
-
MINHO: Let the game begin!
-
"I didn't think you'd genuinely be this jealous," you say to Bryan who's sitting on the other sofa.
Minho has been watching him fidgeting in his seat and it's making him nervous too.
"I genuinely am," Bryan shortly replies.
"Now, it feels real, huh?" Minho says, pouring salt over his wound instead of trying to soothe it.
"I care about her," Bryan fussing like a toddler.
"Then you should have shown her that," you excuse yourself to get more drinks after.
Maybe you feel the need to tell him that because you're close to Zara and maybe she's telling you things about their relationship.
It's not his place to say anything about their relationship, but everyone can see the problem here, Bryan hasn't been treating his girl well, he puts her second after the money.
"But she's right though," Minho adds his opinion.
Bryan clicks his tongue and then scoffs, "I'm trying not to be selfish here," he defends himself.
He sips his drink before continuing to talk, "I know."
He gets quiet for a while and thinks of something to say to lighten up the mood, "I think my girl cuddles your girl more than you," he jokingly says.
Bryan is cackling in his seat, "Oh, I think my girl cuddles your girl more than you," he says back to him.
Minho feels a little offended by that.
-
MINHO: I'm not big on showing affection. It's just... I don't know, weird?
-
Jai and Zara are finally back from their dates and that's good because if they had taken another hour, Minho would have fallen asleep on the lounger.
Jai brings the new girl to introduce her around to the girls. He refills his drink to refresh him and walks out to join everyone.
Minho is the last to be introduced to the new girl, Esme, she's beautiful, with long dark hair and plush lips.
"What's your name?" She asks, holding his hand in hers.
"Minho," he replies.
"I'm Esme," she introduces, not letting his hand go yet.
She stares at him long enough that he feels the need to snap her out of it, "Nice to know you," he says.
"Yeah, very nice," she says with a flirty smile.
-
MINHO: Lana knows how to stir things up, huh?
-
Esme gets swept away by the other boys, they're all sexually frustrated and more than excited to get to know the new girl.
Minho can't say the same with the other one.
Noah is tall and blonde which are two things he doesn't have. He's not saying his jealous and not sure if that's your type as well. Even if he is, Minho doesn't feel intimidated at all.
From what he sees though, he doesn't need to worry your head is turned at this British guy. You're sitting next to Zara and chatting with drinks in your hands.
Minho takes a seat in the space next to you, taking your glass to have a sip.
"What do you think of the new girl, Minho?" Zara suddenly asks him.
He swallows his drink first before answering, "She's good-looking, has beautiful eyes, and yeah, beautiful."
Zara nods and asks again, "Is she your type?"
"She looks a lot like my ex-girlfriend actually," Minho adds.
Zara snorts with her mouth deep in the glass.
"Oh, yeah, I wish my ex looked like her too," you add with a fed-up tone and take your drink back from him.
-
MINHO: I don't see what's wrong. I was just being honest.
-
The new arrivals sleep together on the newly installed bed in the bedroom and no one changes their bed partner so that's a good thing.
Minho can't wait to end the day as well, feeling tired from doing nothing but worrying about money that is not his or not yet his.
You comfortably tucked under the cover, taking a sip of water before lying down next to him. Sighing once your head hits the pillow.
Minho doesn't get to talk to you much the entire night and he kind of wishes to play a little with you.
You turn over, laying on your stomach with your head facing the other way. The silk camisole you're wearing looks good on you, he can't stop himself from feeling the fabric and touching your exposed skin while at it.
You turn your head at him and mumble, "I'm tired."
"Stay up with me a little longer," he says, pulling at the strap of your camisole and snapping it against your skin.
You kiss his cheek and say, "Goodnight."
"Goodnight," he says back but you already turn your head away from him.
Why does it feel like he's done something wrong and it's your way of telling him to figure this out himself?
-
MINHO: I think with the new arrivals there's this change of dynamic and everyone is not ready for that.
-
Minho chooses to cool down with a quick dip in the swimming pool after working out today.
He has no swimming skill to show off whatsoever, he takes a few dives and lifts himself out of the water.
"Hey," Esme says, looking up at him with a smile.
He points at his towel, "You're sitting on my towel," he points out.
"Oh?" She gets up to pull it out under her and hands it to him.
"I hope you don't mind I'm keeping it warm for you."
Minho smiles at her and unfolds the towel to dry his body then his hair next.
"You have a nice body," Esme compliments.
"Thanks. You too," Minho compliments back out of courtesy but she seems to take that as some sort of his way to flirt with her.
"Do I?"
Well, Minho can't take back a compliment without hurting her feelings so he nods.
"Oh, wow, thank you!" She giggles in response.
Minho is about to leave when she asks him, "I heard you're a dancer. Is that right?"
He feels bad to always have to look down at her so he sits down, "I am."
"I am a dancer too," she says with eyes widening.
"Yeah?" Minho half-heartedly asks.
"I do ballroom dances," she further shares.
Living in the retreat and being locked out from the rest of the world reminds Minho of the things he's interested in besides dating.
Talking about something that he's so passionate about helps him to relive that excitement that he's not aware of how long he sits there talking with Esme.
"So... are your options still open or are you settled with your current partner?" Esme asks.
Of course, the talk will eventually lead to this and Minho is lucky because the talk has to be paused as all the girls get called for the workshop.
-
MINHO: Esme is great. She's nice and beautiful. I can't complain.
-
Something strange is happening.
Minho never felt this thing before because you're always there when he looks around. And now, not seeing you for most of the day feels doesn't right to him. You can't possibly out of the villa, you're just in a different part of this big place so there's no need for him to be this dramatic.
Jai catches Minho scoffing at himself, "What's that?"
"Nothing," Minho replies, shaking his head.
He decides to open a conversation with him to not let things get awkward, "How are things with Agnes?"
Jai scratches his nose before speaking, "She was mad jealous when I went on the date."
He wipes his wet hair to the back, "I usually jump ship whenever a new girl appears but I feel like I'm stuck with her," he explains.
"Stuck in a bad way or...?" Minho asks for a detailed answer.
Jai laughs and wipes the beads of water on his chest with a towel, "Like I can't like someone else but her."
Minho never feels that way with someone or maybe he hasn't found that someone, he's not that confident he'll ever find one. The sound of Agnes squealing surprises him as she jumps right onto Jai's lap, not caring that he's all wet from swimming.
Minho looks in the direction of the side gate to see if you have come back too. You walk back in behind Zara and he's sure you catch him looking at you, but instead of coming his way, you make a turn to the bedroom.
The day feels long but short at the same time.
Minho gets so confused about picking what he should wear for tonight that he raids Luca's locker to see if he can borrow something. The dressing room is packed because Lana is throwing a party to welcome the new arrivals even though it's a day late for that.
The girls are doing make-up while the boys are goofing around while trying on each other's clothes. He sees you quietly styling your hair at the far end of the vanity table.
"Oh, you're so flexible," Luca exclaims at someone.
Minho turns around to see Esme is showing everyone her grand battement.
"You do ballet too?" He asks her.
"Yeah, jazz," Esme answers as she fixes her dress.
"You're a dancer?" Bryan asks.
Esme nods as she picks up her shoes from the floor and in his peripheral vision, he sees you heading to the bathroom with your make-up bag. He follows you there, seeing you leaning in close to the mirror like you always do.
You don't say anything even though you see him walking into the bathroom and seeing him sitting on the edge of the tub, watching you putting on your contacts. The silence that hangs in the air is deafening and he needs to break it.
"Hey," he softly greets you.
You don't say anything for a moment but wash your hands under the running water.
"You still want to talk to me?" You finally talk after drying your hand with a towel.
"Didn't I just talk to you?" He says.
You turn to face him, leaning against the sink and crossing your arms together in front of you.
"I don't know maybe you prefer to talk to Esme," you tell him.
Oh, so this is all about. Minho gets it now why you've been so quiet and it's because you think something is going on between him and Esme.
"I only talked to her a little bit," Minho explains
"She's only been here for like what? A day? And you're giving her all of your attention," you tell him.
Perplexed, Minho jerks his head back and mutters, "What?"
You hold the edge of the sink and fiercely stare into his eyes, "I'm struggling to get you to make the same effort for me so yeah, I'm angry," you tell him.
One thing he learned is that overdoing things is always a disaster and Minho thinks he gives you just the right amount of attention.
"If you want to explore or keep your options open, that's fine, go ahead," you shove everything back into your pouch.
"But I can't do this," you say for the last time, then leave him in the bathroom.
-
MINHO: I don't know why I need to explain the reason why I talked to her when I am free to talk to anyone.
-
Minho isn't the only one getting confronted by his partner, Bryan got it worse with Zara putting an ultimatum on him.
"She wants me to break rule, man," Bryan grumbles and it's a funny thing to see him doing.
"It doesn't necessarily have to be something against the rules," Luca says.
Minho nods in agreement and he's surprised that Zara didn't drop him sooner. Bryan is too busy keeping everyone's hands in their pants and forgetting to treat his girl.
Bryan is so dense, refusing to admit that he's wrong for doing it because, for him, he's only doing the right thing.
"Damn! What did they do in the workshop?" Bryan loudly sighs.
It doesn't feel like a party when everyone is having mixed feelings about the night.
Once the music is blasting though, they throw their weariness away and start dancing. He sees that even you can't stop yourself from moving your body to the fast-paced song.
Just like always, Lana chimes in and abruptly stops the party from going wild.
Everyone is dragging themselves to the cabana, walking in heavy steps and mentally prepared for what she has to say.
"Unfortunately, I must inform you that..."
"Come on! Fess up!" Maisie says with an exhausted tone.
"What I'm observing is far from positive."
Zara groans then links her arm with yours, making Minho glance across the table to see you leaning on Jack's shoulder.
Everyone's eyes are aimed at Jai and Agnes, the biggest spending couple.
"I swear to you, I'm celibate," Jai convinces and with no grin on his face.
"So far, you have lost $60.000. You are taking this process for granted. It is clear I need to streamline the group."
-
MINHO: Lana, what have you done now? [Glares at camera]
-
"Two of you must leave the retreat tonight," Lana informs.
Minho automatically thinks of the things he's done wrong in the retreat and the possibility that he's one of the two is big. He looks at you and you slump down on the sofa with Jack putting his arm around you.
He wishes that he could hold you because this probably would be the last time he's able to.
"The first one to leave the retreat is... Alia."
Alia breaks into tears, looking so disappointed but she seems to have expected this. Agnes who's sitting next to her, hugs her for comfort.
-
MINHO: I think Alia isn't investing herself enough into the process and Lana sees that.
-
"The second person leaving is... Jack."
Everyone sees this one coming and that includes Jack. Minho can breathe now that he's still here and not being sent home tonight.
Jack has been treating this retreat like a playground but maybe that's because he's young, he doesn't think much about the repercussions of the things he did.
"It is now time for both of you to leave the retreat."
You kiss Jack on the cheek and hug him, Zara having no problems hugging both of you with her long arms.
Minho gets up to properly send them away with a friendly hug and a goodbye.
"I hope this is a lesson for the rest of you to take this process more seriously," Lana concludes.
-
MINHO: I'm very relieved to still be here. Guess I have to try a little bit harder.
-
Everyone wakes up still in loss of Jack and Alia, not expecting that their absence would leave the space this empty.
On the other hand, it makes Minho did a lot of thinking last night as he slept on the bed alone. He wants to do things right from now on but it's not easy to build connections, especially after you choose to sleep alone on the vacant bed.
Minho just wanted to be left alone for the day but that's impossible.
In the afternoon, Lana calls everyone to the cabana. The first thing everyone sees is the little gift boxes on the table.
"Are we getting gifts from Lana?" Maisie asks.
"It's about time we get some good news," Luca comments as he plops down the sofa next to her.
Jai squints his eyes as he stares at the box in front of him, "I don't know. Seems like a trap to me," he jokingly says.
There goes Lana's melodic chimes and everyone is collectively taking a breath to mentally prepare themselves for whatever she is going to share.
"Hello, everyone. I have a gift for each of you."
Minho hopes that whatever it is inside that box, he hopes it's something that encourages him to do good in the retreat.
-
MINHO: Some money would be good, Lana.
-
"The gift will serve as a reward to those couples who show me that they're taking the right steps towards deeper connections," Lana continues.
Couples. Minho gives up already because there's no way he can get any reward now that he doesn't have a partner in the retreat.
"They will be given the chance to take those connections further."
Jai gets impatient at the slightest mention that he can do some physical contact as a reward, "Can we open it, Lana?"
But everyone takes the gift without waiting for her answer and Minho takes his, opening it to find a smart watch inside.
"Oh, it's not a vibrator," you meekly say with a disappointed look on your face.
Minho smiles at your cute pout and quickly takes his watch out of the box to put it around his wrist, helping Bryan after as he has such a big wrist.
"When I observe two people forming a genuine connection, they will be given a green light like this..."
The watches chime and turn green at the same time. Agnes is cheering the loudest out of everyone.
"Where the rules do not apply for a limited amount of time," Lana further explains.
For a limited amount of time but at this point, Minho takes whatever he can get.
"I would like to remind you that those who do not receive a green light are not displaying enough process."
-
MINHO: Green light means you can fuck. No green light means you're fucked.
-
Minho is pessimistic that he'll get a green light.
For that to happen, he has to have a partner first. Even after he has a partner, there's no guarantee that he'll have that connection with that person.
The complications do not stop there, for a connection to form, he has to open up and share personal things with someone. He's been doing casual dating where he doesn't need to do all of that.
Lana wouldn't put that much money into a prize if it's easy to win it. Giving praises to each other wouldn't grant you a green light which is what Jai and Agnes are doing right now.
"Lana is a computer, she must have installed the latest high-tech BS detector," Minho tells them, sending them into waves of laughter.
-
MINHO: I have one person that I think I shared a connection with but she's... uh, I think she hates me now.
-
Minho watches as the couple grows and falls apart around him.
For tonight, another ship goes down as Zara switches Bryan with the new arrival, Noah.
He knows that it's only about time that Zara takes such a great measure to teach Bryan a thing or two.
However, Minho doesn't expect that he'll be collateral damage in all this.
Since Zara is sleeping with the new guy, leaving Esme bedless, and has to choose a different partner tonight.
The first option is Bryan but of course, she's not going to insert herself in the drama. The safest choice would be to share a bed with you but she senses that you're not that welcoming of her.
There's no way she's going to sleep on the sofa so Minho scoots to his usual side of the bed and lets her have the other side.
There's a big chance that you're going to think that he's happy to share a bed with Esme and that makes him stay awake the whole night thinking that you'll hate him more after tonight.
-
MINHO: Esme is a good bed partner but I don't think she's the one I can form a connection with.
-
It's not cocky.
Minho knows that he's attractive and girls like him, they get flirty with him. In conclusion, he knows when a girl is into him.
Esme has been too obvious. The first thing he saw this morning was the eyes and the smile she gave him.
Minho is sitting with half of his body soaked in the pool water when Esme jumps in and joins him.
"Hey," she sweetly greets.
Minho smiles and greets her back.
"So, how did you feel sharing a bed with me?" Her hands are floating around, making ripples on the water.
"It was nice," he answers.
She chuckles in response, "It'd be much nicer with some cuddles."
She fixes the straps of her bikini and continues talking, "How are things? Where's your head at the moment?"
Minho is a firm believer that honesty is the best policy but oftentimes, being honest leads him to hurt people rather than do them good.
At the same time, Minho shouldn't keep leading her on with false hope. He should be honest but do it gently.
"I was already with someone before you came and I know we're not on good terms right now..." he pauses as he has to filter his thoughts first before speaking them out.
"You're pretty and nice, but I owe it to her to try and see where this is going," he explains more.
Esme nods and her smile falters a little. It's not a thing that she can accept in a second. She needs time to process this.
"Yeah..." she meekly answers.
Minho takes this as a cue to give her the space, "I'll see you later?"
"Yes," she answers.
-
MINHO: Esme and I... I just don't see any chemistry there between us.
-
Lana starts the night early by throwing a party at the beach.
There's a bonfire, coolers full of bottled beers, and glasses of exotic-looking cocktails.
It helps Minho to relax after a nerve-wracking moment of rejecting a girl. It's a big deal because if he's out there, he wouldn't drop a beautiful girl like Esme like that.
Also, Minho knows best that when something good happens, he becomes suspicious that Lana will interrupt with a shocking announcement.
The only shocking this is the arrival of two new guests on a boat.
The music stops playing as the first guest walks down the stairs and jumps onto the water. A girl with long black hair and voluptuous body, and bright eyes that catches attention.
"Hi, hi," she greets everyone.
Jai looks too excited even though he's pretty much settled with Agnes, offering his hand to help her walk, "What's your name?"
"I'm Sofia," she says.
Luca elbows Minho on the side and foolishly grins, "She's hot," he quietly mutters.
Sofia proceeds to introduce herself to everyone with a quick hug and when it gets to his turn, Minho shakes her hand instead.
"Minho," he keeps his introduction short.
-
MINHO: The new girl is attractive. Very beautiful eyes.
-
The girls are cheering as the other guest jumps down the boat.
The new guy is tall and has abs that look like they were sculpted by God himself. He flashes everyone his bright, white smile and steps into the party.
"Hey, I'm Kane," he introduces, not wasting time eyeing the girls.
Minho catches that his eyes stay a second longer on you than on everyone else. He drains his bottle of beer empty and quickly grabs another.
They get comfortable as the party continues and questions get thrown around at them as the sun sinks lower into the horizon.
"So, what's your type?" Maisie asks the new guy.
"I'm getting a lot of eyes right now," he says with a sheepish smile.
Minho turns to look and you are one of the girls giving him the eyes right now, tugging a straw between your teeth and waiting in anticipation for his answer.
"I like a girl with a nice body and a beautiful smile," he says, sneaking a few glances at you as he speaks.
You turn to whisper at Agnes and he can read your lips saying, "He's cute."
He scoffs because it takes you one cute guy and barely an hour to change your mind.
-
MINHO: No. I don't feel intimidated at all. [Nonchalantly shrugs]
-
The problem with starting the night early is that it's going to be a long one.
Minho changes his clothes, styling his hair quickly and he doesn't feel like talking to anyone but Bryan drags him to accompany him talking to the new girl.
He's not sure that Bryan is making a good choice right now.
"We're just going to talk to her, nothing else," Bryan says.
Minho sighs and sits down on the sofa on the terrace, "Yeah but you're giving the impression that you don't care about Zara anymore," he bluntly tells him.
The smile vanishes in a second and Bryan trudges away to talk to the new girl by himself.
That's good because Minho feels like he wants to spend the rest of the night alone. Luca decides to break his serenity by sitting on the other sofa.
"You're not talking to the new girl?" He asks.
Minho reclines on the sofa and shakes his head.
There's a sound of laughter coming from the bedroom and from the window he sees you talking to the new guy. He doesn't want to care but... he cares.
Luca seems to pick it up right away, "I know you're trying to play it cool and act like it doesn't bother you," he says.
"But you have everything you need and the chance to make things better," Luca pauses to sip his drink.
"It's all up to you."
Minho is feeling so called out and the one who's doing it is Luca. He seems to be more mature than his actual age but he respects him for saying things that not many people would dare to say to him.
"Do you think she likes him?" Minho asks as he leers to see you laugh.
"Why don't you ask her?" Luca simply asks him back.
Minho doesn't know why he waits around for you when he's been the one acting so selfishly, talking to another girl like it's not going to affect you.
He gets it now, the taste of his own medicine.
-
MINHO: Yeah, okay, I get it now.
-
It's so hard to get some alone time with you, it's even harder with two new guests in the house.
He quietly watches you as you wipe your make-up clean in the dressing room and you'll eventually go to the bathroom to wash your face.
Minho changes into his comfortable clothes and goes to the bathroom half-naked, knowing that you'll be there.
"Having a good night?" He casually asks as he's using the other sink next to you.
You stay quiet as you wash your toothbrush under the running water, "Sofia is hot. Why don't you have a good night with her?"
Minho finds your passive-aggressive endearing instead of annoying. He quietly smiles as he takes his toiletry bag from the drawer.
"Do you like the new guy?" He asks.
You take a hairbrush from your toiletry bag, "I do like him."
"Yeah, he's cute," Minho half-heartedly comments.
He puts a dollop of toothpaste on his toothbrush and then shrugs, "I'm happy for you."
You burst into laughter and strongly accuse him, "No, you're lying!"
Minho starts brushing his teeth and skips on denying your accusation. He sees that you're still chuckling from the reflection in the mirror.
You put your hairbrush down and get in front of him, putting your arms around his waist.
"You should stop running away from me," you tell him while looking into his eyes.
"I started to get tired of chasing you," you mumble and rest your head on his chest.
Minho misses this. He stops brushing his teeth and wipes his mouth with a towel, hugging you back with his arms around you.
You look up to see his face and putting your hand on his cheek, tenderly caress it before placing a gentle kiss.
"Goodnight!" You softly whisper, then you break away from his hug and leave him again.
Minho is getting the same bitter feeling as you did it for the second time to him. He doesn't want it to happen for the third time, never again.
-
MINHO: [Shakes head] No, it's not over yet.
-
Everything feels off.
Not just himself but everyone in the room seemed to be feeling the same when they woke up this morning. Minho shared the bed with Esme again last night and Bryan proceeded to make the worst choice by sleeping with the new girl.
Worst of all, you're sleeping with the new guy and he keeps glaring at him even though he knows it wouldn't scare him off.
After last night, Minho gets hit by the realization that he is missing you and there's a slim chance he can fix everything. The problem is he doesn't know where to begin, he's not poetic nor soft-spoken, he's a man of actions. Other than that, he is running out of time.
When he thought that was the only problem, Lana assembles everyone in the bedroom except for the new guests.
"Hello, everyone. I have gathered you as I have some news."
-
MINHO: Let it be good news, Lana.
-
"Sofia and Kane have been given the opportunity to form more meaningful connections by choosing one person each to accompany them on private dates."
This is what Minho forgot to add Lana to the equation. He doesn't want to even think about it but he knows for certain that the new guy will choose you for the private date.
"Sofia has chosen to go on a date with Bryan."
It's so rare to see Bryan smile so brightly and as much as she wants everyone to believe she has moved on, Zara is not pleased with it.
"Kane has chosen to go on a date with..."
Minho doesn't wait to hear your name because it's an obvious one. He keeps his calm and his face straight but Luca is checking on him from across the room.
He slightly shrugs and raises an eyebrow in response to his thumb up.
"Please, go and get ready for your dates."
Minho watches as you get up from the bed and walk with Bryan to the dressing room.
-
MINHO: I felt fine about her going on this date but since she's left, I'm dwelling on everything.
-
Minho succeeds at pretending not to care and putting on a tough face.
Except that he can't stop himself from putting on an annoyed face as Jai and Agnes are canoodling on the next bed.
Initially, he thought Jai and Agnes wouldn't last this long but he's relieved to know that he's wrong. He's happy to see them happy but God, he's getting sick of them being lovey-dovey so close to him.
He looks to the other bed and sees Maisie hugging Luca from behind while talking about something. Ugh, it's like the universe is trying to punish him.
"I didn't sign up for this," Minho mumbles to anyone who hears him.
"Are you nervous?" Maisie asks.
He passes on answering and sits on the bed just waiting for the dates to end.
Agnes injects herself by saying, "He is nervous!"
Jai turns on the bed to look at him and laughs, "Hang in there, man!"
-
MINHO: Not nervous. Just a little... uneasy.
-
Everyone has claimed their bed but the ones that went to the dates haven't come back yet.
Thankfully, Esme understood right away when Minho kindly asked her to share the bed with the new guy. Like it or not, Minho is going to take you back to his bed tonight, he'll drag you if he had to.
Bryan has returned to the bedroom with a grin plastered on his face, it's kind of disturbing that he steals Jai's antic.
Not long after, the new guy is back by himself.
Minho doesn't want to assume anything yet but he takes it as a good sign. He stays on his bed for some time before going to the dressing room.
Instead of you, he finds the new girl doing her skincare routine.
He flashes a smile as he walks across the room to go through the next door that leads to the bathroom. The sound of water running tells him that you must be in the shower.
This is just perfect, Minho gets the privacy he needs.
-
MINHO: It's about time. I have to bring her back to me tonight. No matter what.
-
Minho looks through the glass door and sees you inside with water raining down on your body. He can stand there all day watching you showering but he reminds himself that he has something to do here. Something important.
He opens the shower door just enough to show himself to you and you immediately turn on your feet at the sound of him knocking on the glass door.
The sight of your naked wet body is so distracting that he forgets to talk.
After licking his lips, he finally says, "Hey."
You step away from the shower and wipe the beads of water from your eyes, "yes?"
It's so sudden and out of the blue but Minho knows that it's better late than never. He resists looking anywhere but your face or else he'll forget to speak again.
"You're sleeping me tonight," he confidently remarks with that half smirk of his.
"Why should I?" You ask, tipping your head to the side.
He takes a step forward and leans against the doorway, holding his hand out at you. He can see that you're hesitating but eventually take his hand.
There's no need for words when Minho can show you how much he misses you and wants you back by his side.
He's pulling you close until you stand right in front of him, gliding his hand up to the nape of your neck to tilt your head a little to the side and slowly, he leans in for a kiss.
The kiss is better than he remembered. Maybe it's you or maybe it's the longing that amplified it, either way, it's a one hell of a kiss.
Considering that he's spending money for it, he puts his other hand on your waist to draw you closer and deepens the kiss to make it worth every penny.
You let out a low moan as his tongue invades your mouth and keep your mouth open for him if not returning his kisses with the same eagerness.
He ignores the fact that your wet body dampens the top he's wearing and reluctantly pulls away when he knows you're running out of breath.
Minho smiles as he looks at your face and puts the hair stuck to your forehead to the side, "I'll keep the bed warm for you," he says.
A smile blooms on your face and you nod, "Okay."
-
MINHO: I'm not good with words but I'm good at something else [raises eyebrow]
-
You're like a five-year-old to him.
Minho is not saying that you're immature, it's just that your moods are rapidly changing. One minute you're happy, the next minute, you're fussing about something, next thing he knows, you're angry at him.
It can be such a headache sometimes but he likes it because you don't hold back, you're honest about your feelings and you're adorable to him, he wants to tease at any chance he gets.
The happiness is clearly drawn on your face as you're walking to his bed in giddiness and this time, he's ready to offer his arm for you to rest your head on.
Minho shivers as your hand makes contact with his bare chest, he already got rid of his damp top and is too lazy to go to the dressing room to get a new top.
You put your hand across his chest as you settled yourself next to him, nuzzling your nose to his neck, "Did you shower?"
"No," he lies with a sly smile on.
You plant your nose onto his neck to take a sniff and lowly sigh, "I like it," you tell him.
Now that you're by his side, Minho doesn't care about anything else. He doesn't care about the eyes looking at him whether in jealousy or curiosity as to why you got back to his bed again.
Minho wants to focus on you and make you never leave his side again.
-
MINHO: Okay, now Lana, I need you to close your eyes cause you're not going to like what you see.
-
Oh, how he misses your body!
Even in the dark, Minho knows what his hands are exploring, miles and miles of silky soft skin, warm and sensitive under his touch. He's only using his fingertips, he wonders what's going to happen if he's using his mouth so he places a long peck on your neck with his hand slipped under the cropped top you're wearing to bed.
"We're not going to sleep tonight," he whispers.
He can hear your smile even without looking and you slightly turn your head to look at him, looking at him as if he wouldn't dare to break rules.
In his opinion, everyone has been doing it wrong. If Minho wanted to break the rules, he wouldn't do a kiss today and another kiss tomorrow. If he's going to break rules, he'd break every rule there is and make it worth every single cent of it.
You curve your hand around his neck and look at his gleaming eyes in the dark, "What do you have in mind?"
Minho puts his hand around your neck and places a trail of fluttering kisses down your jaw.
He takes his hand from under your head so he can hover above you, carefully, putting his whole body on top of you.
A soft moan escapes your mouth as you wrap your legs around his waist and you quickly muffle yourself by pressing your lips together into a thin line.
Just feeling your body against him is enough to arouse him. He turns your head to the side and presses his mouth on your ear.
"We're going to spend a lot of money tonight," he whispers with his hot breath tickling your ear.
-
MINHO: Well, unless you're into it, you're welcome to watch, Lana.

First Years Shenanigans at a Malleyuu Wedding
As much as I have Malleyuu Thoughts I'm also constantly thinking about First Years Gang so there's frequent overlap between the two, so have some Typical Wedding Goes Wrong Trope thoughts I had featuring the beloved First Years and many shenanigans.
Tumblr media
Malleyuu wedding centered around the First Years making sure the wedding is going to go smoothly. So much shit is going wrong and they're trying desperately to fix them all without Malleus or Yuu finding out.
Sebek is freaking out the whole time, Ace and Deuce are mixing up each other's jobs, Jack is the only sane one, and Epel who is helping Yuu get ready is trying his best to focus on distracting them instead of running out there (he's still a tough farm boy through and through but a lot of things have gotta stuck after all those years at Pomefiore and under Vil's tutelage). Ortho is the only one who is even marginally helpful (as long as his gear somehow doesn't break that is)
I've got this image of Malleus summoning Sebek in the middle of all the chaos to have a bit of a heart-to-heart with him, thanking him for his years of service and friendship with Yuu, but meanwhile, Sebek is trying desperately to keep his composure because the entire time Malleus is speaking all kinds of nonsense and shenanigans is happening behind him.
I can also see Epel working with the other hairdressers, makeup artists, etc. (Maybe Crewel is there too because heck yeah father figure!Crewel helping Yuu get dressed for their wedding) on Yuu and Ace suddenly smacking into the window.
Yuu: Did you hear something? Epel: *making sure Yuu doesn't turn around and see Ortho trying to unstick Ace from the window* Prob'ly just the wind.
There's also a subplot going on that makes keeping everything a secret exponentially harder where Malleus keeps trying to run off to go see Yuu because his Dragon Clinginess is acting up and Lilia if he's still alive along with Silver and other servants are doing their best to keep him in his room and also make sure he gets ready in time for the wedding (and also bcs of the bad luck abt seeing each other before the wedding thing)
Sort of like the Tangled wedding short, by the time all the problems are solved Yuu and Malleus look at their friends and are shocked by their various disheveled states.
I also think it'd be funny if Maleficia is also there and she's completely Aware of all the nonsense going on and is mildly amused by it. Though she's not exactly working together with the boys she's calmly helping them fix certain things with a wave of her hand behind her back and also helping distract Malleus.
None of them knew she was in on it until the end of the actual wedding where she casually mentions to the newlyweds about the "issues" with the preparations and the two of them exchange confused looks while Yuu's friends freeze and break out into a sweat.
Ngl I kind of forgot about Grim agshdgdj. I imagine that he's getting ready WITH Yuu, getting his coat all groomed and stuff, but it takes less time and he walks in on the others and the messes they're trying to fix and he's like "MYAH!! If Yuu and Tusnotarou find out about this they're gonna FREAK!!" "We KNOW! Instead of standing there and complaining why don't you help us out instead?!" (-Ace, probably)
Helps distract Malleus and Yuu by clinging to them, making demands, lying about things like his outfit feeling uncomfortable or his coat needing a better brushing. I've got this image of Ace picking him up and rubbing him all over the betrotheds' wedding outfits to get cat hair all over them.
Grim: UNHAND ME!!! Sebek: TRAPPOLA?! Wh-What are you doing?! Ace: Trust me, this is gonna buy us tons of time!
In the end, the wedding goes smoothly. Sebek cries ofc, so does Deuce, Jack denies getting emotional, Epel too but less insistently, Ortho is being all sweet and soft and mushy about it, and Ace is making fun of them all but very lightheartedly :)

girl, i’m in dire need of some jack angst!! (i know, i’m crazy for wanting my heart to be ripped out by your beautiful writing in the saddest way possible😂)
maybe he and the reader have been dating for a few months and have their first big fight, maybe he’s been a little too close to a girl the reader has been having weird gut feelings about. they break up after some harsh words were said, and a few weeks later the reader sees that he’s dating the girl he told her not to worry about 👀
a few months pass, and jack and the girl break up bc he can’t get over the reader, and he tries to win her back, but soon realises he lost her for good when he sees her ar an event or something with someone else, and it’s clear that they’re more than friends.
(i kinda envision this as actress!reader x jack. and the event could be the oscars + the reader’s new bf could also be an A list celeb)
lyrics that could inspire you:
“'Cause there we are again when I loved you so, Back before you lost the one real thing you've ever known” - All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)
“I'm sitting eyes wide open and I got one thing stuck in my mind, Wondering if I dodged a bullet or just lost the love of my life” - I Don’t Wanna Live Forever
thank you so much and i’m sorry if this req is all over the place 😂😂❣️
hii! this might be one of the saddest things i’ve written yet. hope you like it<3

Y/N AND JACK HAD MET THROUGH JENNA ORTEGA. The latter and Y/N both worked for Netflix, so they bumped into each other in lots of events and eventually became super close. And, knowing how big of a Scream fan Y/N was, Jenna invited her over to set and that’s where she met Jack.
No one could deny that sparks flew instantly between them, not even the two people involved. And that scared Y/N a bit, because her last relationship had left her with insecurities and trust issues, and she wasn’t sure if she was ready to dive into another relationship.
Jack had been very understanding about it, and told her that they should start as friends. He assured her that he would wait as long as she needed to, that she was worth it. And after months and months of therapy, Y/N finally felt ready to try things with Jack.
They were in a lavender haze for months. Her relationship with Jack was unlike anything Y/N had experienced before. The love she felt for him was so strong that there was no way to put it into words. Jack was her best friend—he had held her hand as she healed, and drew stars around the scars that the previous relationship had left on her. And she never would have thought he was going to be the one who made the wounds bleed again.
Jealousy is often seen as a toxic feeling, and after talking with her shrink about it, Y/N came to a conclusion—the toxicity depends on the way you handle that feeling. So Y/N decided to put her fears on the table, instead of jumping into conclusions. That’s what she thought would be the most healthy thing to do. Jack would be honest with her, and the thoughts that had been eating her alive would disappear.
But as soon as she said the words and saw Jack’s expression of irritation, Y/N knew she should’ve kept her mouth shut.
“Seriously? I can’t have female friend now” Jack spat furiously.
“What?! Of course you can. That’s not what I’m saying” Y/N said calmly. “I just… she clearly has feelings for you. And I’m not saying you should stop hanging out with her, I just need to know if she’s just a friend to you… or if there is room for more.”
“I can’t fucking believe you’re telling me this.” he shook his head in disbelief.
“Jack, I’m not accusing you of cheating or anything, really. You’ve been spending so much time with her…” more than with me, she wanted to add. But that would make things worse. “and I just have this weird feeling. I need to know how you really feel, that’s it. If you tell me you don’t like her, I’ll believe you. But please be honest with me.”
“What I really feel is that you’re suffocating me with your shitty problems.” his demeanour was so calm, but his words were sharp as knives, and they cut right through her heart. She had trouble believing the words had actually left his mouth. “I’ve waited for you for months, I helped you through all of it. And now you’re making this shit up? Grow up.”
Y/N felt like throwing up. She felt like she was about to spit her heart. “You don’t mean that.” her voice broke. “In all of these months, when have I ever brought up one of your female friends? Not once. Because I know they are only friends. But with her, Jack, I just feel like there is something more. And yes, maybe I’m overthinking, but that’s why I’m asking. That’s it. I’m just asking, Jack.”
“Stop being so fucking paranoid. I get that your ex cheated on you, but stop seeing ghosts everywhere.”
“Why are you being so mean? Why are you avoiding the question? It’s simple, Jack. Do you have feelings for her?” Y/N asked, the knot in her throat grew in size when she noticed he couldn’t look her in the eyes. “Jack?”
“We’re just friends, jesus!” he said annoyed. Y/N wanted so bad to play dumb, to pretend she couldn’t see he was lying.
“You know I can read you like a book, right?” she asked softly, sad. “When you lie, you can’t look me in the eyes, you play with your hands and bite the inside of your cheeks.”
“Y/N… fucking drop it. I’m tired of this”
“We are over, Jack” she tried to walk towards the door, but he grabbed her and pulled her against his chest, trapping her in his arms.
He saw the tears steaming down her face and cursed himself. “Shit. No, please. Let’s talk. I’m sorry” he sound like he was about to cry, and Y/N knew she needed to leave. Because even though he had hurt her, the soft spot in her heart was still reserved for him.
“No, let’s just leave it like this because if you keep talking, I’m afraid I might end up resenting you, and I don’t want that.”
“I love you, Y/N” Jack hugged her tightly. “Please let’s fix this. I promise you nothing happened with her, and nothing will.”
“I love you too, but I don’t believe you. I’m sorry, but I can’t do this anymore” and so she stepped away for the arms she loved the most in the world and left without glancing back. If she did, she knew she wouldn’t be able to leave.
Tumblr media
EVER SINCE SHE WALKED OUT OF JACK’S HOUSE TWO WEEKS AGO, Y/N HAD BEEN OVERWORKING HERSELF TO AVOID HER THOUGHTS OF JACK CREEPING INTO HER MIND. She had stayed out of social media, and had deleted Jack’s number from her phone to avoid temptations. Her friends kept their eyes on her all the time, worried about the inevitable breakdown. You can only hold back for so long before it becomes too much.
Louis, her co-star, had been by her side as much as he could. And, like every morning, he was waiting for her on her trailer with a caramel macchiato and a shiny grin on his handsome face.
“And a chocolate chip muffin?” Y/N asked, seeing the mouth-watering treat next to her Starbucks drink. “What’s the special occasion?”
Louis stared at her, frowning. Not any indications of having had a break down, not even puffy eyes, which meant one thing—she hadn’t seen the pictures yet. “Nothing” he blurted, showing his charming smile. “Just saw it and had to buy it.”
“You really need to stop buying me these breakfasts, Lou. I’m going to get cavities” Y/N said taking a sip of her overly sweet drink.
“But look at how happy it makes you. Cavities will be worth it, don’t you think?”
“You may have a point. Scoot over” she told him, nudging his leg with her foot. Louis moved his body so that she could sit next to him on the small couch. It was not made for two people, so they were basically pressed against the other, yet they found it comfortable. Especially Louis, whose insides melted because of the closeness between them—his not so tiny crush on her was painfully obvious.
“What are you doing?” Louis asked, trying to keep his voice calm as she unlocked her phone.
“I forgot to check which surprise songs Taylor sang last night” she answered as she opened twitter. “Oh god”
“What?!” Louis squealed.
“She sang Cornelia Street and You’re on your own kid! And I wasn’t there, Lou!” she dramatically dropped her head on his chest. He couldn’t help but sigh in relief. “What is going on with you?” she laughed.
“Nothing. Why?” he laughed awkwardly.
“I don’t know, you’re extra jumpy and panicky today.”
“I’m always jumpy and panicky around you.” he said, trying to brush it off.
“No, you’re not” Y/N furrowed her eyes, locking her phone. Louis eyed the action and his chest relaxed. The girl noticed that, so she unlocked it again and started scrolling through Twitter. On her periphery, she saw the boy’s body tensing again. So it had to do with social media, she guessed. “Louis, I’m not dumb. Tell me what is going on.”
“Nothing” he repeated. “Let’s rehearse our lines.”
“Lou, I love you but you’re getting on my nerves right now. I hate being lied to, you know that.”
Y/N’s vulnerable eyes were his weakness, so he sighed and took her hand in his. “This weekend, some fans caught Jack walking around the city with a girl… and they… um, saw them kissing and holding hands.”
Y/N felt her heart drop, and her eyes started to sting. No. She wasn’t going to cry. She hadn’t let herself cry for two weeks and she was not going to start now. “Oh.”
“Give me your phone” Louis said softly. She was too lost in her own mind to question it, so she just obeyed. “I deleted Tik Tok and Instagram. And silenced any Jack related stuff on Twitter. You don’t need to see those pictures.”
“Louis… the girl… is it her?” Y/N asked, trying to keep her voice in control.
“Stop” his voice was firm.
“I want to move on, Lou. And for that, I need to know I was right first.” she pleaded. “Is it her?” her friend nodded slowly as he brought her to his chest. Y/N did a little nod too, and tried to stand up. “Let’s rehearse our lines.”
“Y/N…” he grabbed her elbow to push her back.
“Lou, please. I don’t want to cry, I don’t want to think about it.” he noticed she was two seconds away to burst into tears. And as much as he knew he would hate the sight of her weeping, it was necessary.
“I know you don’t, Y/N/N, but you have to if you want to move on. You’re never getting over this if you keep ignoring your need to cry.”
“I’m just afraid that if I do, I won’t be able to stop.” she confessed, tears starting to blur her vision.
“It feels like that now, but I promise you it’ll be good for you. You have been holding it back for weeks, and once you let it all out, you’ll start to heal” he said as he played with her hair.
“Two weeks… it took him two weeks to go off and date her. And it’s not only some girl… it’s her. He told me I was paranoid, and now he proved me right.”
Jack had promised nothing would happen between him and that girl, and now he broke his promise just like he had broken her heart two weeks ago.
After the realisation, it was like something snapped inside of Y/N, and one sob turned into desperate crying. Her fragile body shook under Louis’ arms, and he wished he could stop her pain. But he couldn’t, so he just stayed there with her holding her as she let it all out.
Tumblr media
AS MUCH AS SHE HOPED THE CRYING WOULD EASE THE PAIN, IT DIDN’T. It had been months of being in a rollercoaster of feelings, sometimes she was okay, sometimes she was great and sometimes she was so low not even Louis’ hugs could lift her up.
The days where she didn’t have to shoot were the worst, because she spent hours in bed and her brain betrayed her by bringing the memories of Jack back. She missed him so much, it was completely agonizing. Why?, she asked herself when the room was dark and she couldn’t sleep. Why did he get to move on while she had to spend her days like that? She has been trying to pick up her heart while Jack was all lovey-dovey with the girl he swore was just his friend.
Jack continued her life without her, while Y/N woke up everyday with his memory over her. She longed for the picture of Jack’s dazzling smile to be gone from her mind. She prayed to forget the sound of his voice as he whispered the sweetest of things on her ear. She wished she could stop hearing his angelic laugh everywhere. She wanted to stop feeling the ghost of his touch against her skin. To forget that his lips were soft and that every time they were pressed against hers she could feel goosebumps all over her body. Y/N just wanted to stop being haunted by the memories of Jack.
Louis had slowly helped her through the process of moving on. He was there to offer his warmth when the wrenching thoughts triggered the waves of tears, and he was also there to make her break a smile once the sobbing stopped.
After eight months, the flood of her tears successfully carried away the thoughts of Jack, and Y/N knew she was finally clean. Not that she didn’t miss him, because Jack was her first love after all, and a small part of her would always love him.
It took her a few more months to be sure if she was ready to risk it again, but Louis’ sweet disposition, how he saw the best in her even in her worst times, showed her that he was worth it. And so she she watched it began again with him.
Tumblr media
JACK AND THE GIRL LASTED FOR TWO MONTHS. He never intended to have something with her, but she was interested and he was lonely and sad, so he said yes. But reality crept in soon—he loved Y/N with all his heart and no matter who he was with, his thoughts would always go back to her.
He had been texting her for months, but she had blocked his number. He knew he could easily drive to her house, but he didn’t want to add salt to the multiple wounds he had inflicted on her, it would be selfish. So when Jack saw that Avatar 4 and Y/N’s drama film were both nominated for the Oscars, he knew it was his chance to make things right. To bring back the only real thing he had ever known.
But he didn’t plan on seeing her with someone else. And he knew they weren’t there together just as co-stars, they were each other’s date. The spark in Y/N’s eyes when she looked at Louis was familiar to Jack—it was the way they used to shine just for him. Jack had been the one to extinguish the spark on her eyes, and Louis had managed to light them up again.
And he wasn’t even mad or jealous. He actually felt happy and sad. Jack didn’t understand how it was possible for two opposite feelings to co-exist in his body at the same time. He realized it was a lost battle, yet he needed to do talk to her. For the sake of their once marvellous relationship.
Y/N got out of the bathroom and into the crowded room, but the thousands of people in it became blurry once she recognized the silhouette of a handsome tall boy leaning against the entrance. “Jack?” his name left her lips in a mix of anguish and surprise.
“Hey” he said softly. You look beautiful, he wanted to add, but restrained himself. “I wanted to talk to you.” Jack saw her grimace and continued before she could stop him. “I know. I know it’s the last thing you want, I just need to get this off my chest. You’re not paranoid or insecure. You never overwhelmed me with your problems. You were right, and I was a shitty boyfriend, friend and person, and you have been so amazing and patient… and I’m so sorry, Y/N. I never deserved your love.”
“You did… up until that night.” she said in all honesty. “I loved you so much, and then you said all of those things. I can’t forget about it, because I never expected those words to come out of your mouth.”
“I know, and I really don’t expect you to forgive me. It’s okay and understandable if you don’t, but I needed you to know that those things I said weren’t true at all.” Jack said, pressing his lips in a thin line. “To be honest, I came here with the mind set of trying to win you back” he confessed, and let out a little laugh, as if the idea was now ridiculous. “But I saw you with him and I know that I’ve lost you for good. Are you happy with him?”
Y/N saw his deep brown eyes starting to get glossy and her insides melted. She didn’t see him with romantic eyes anymore, but it didn’t mean the love was gone. She still cared for him with every bone in her body. “I am. He’s amazing.”
Jack smiled. Genuinely smiled, so widely that it made a few tears drop, and before she knew it, Y/N’s cheeks were wet too. “That’s great, Y/N/N. Really great. I’m happy for you.”
And that was the moment Y/N knew Jack honestly regretted the words he had said before their breakup. “I forgive you.”
The tall boy’s eyes widened “What?”
“I forgive you.” she repeated. “And you deserve to be happy too, okay?”
“Thank you” Jack said breathlessly, wiping away the tears.
“I need to go. But it was nice to see you, thank you for coming to talk to me. For real. I really needed that, I think we both needed that.”
And so they both smiled to each other one last time before parting ways. There was nothing left to say, staying friends had never been an option with them. They loved each other too much for that. When it came to Y/N and Jack, it was everything or nothing at all.

The Healer pt 2
Decided to continue this, let me know if you want me to keep going!
Part 1 linked here
Enjoy!

“What have you done?”
My voice was strained in a horrified whisper.
Jack the Hero was calm despite my obvious distress. He leaned back in his chair, his face smiling but his eyes freezing cold. “That’s the wrong question, Healer. The right question is: what have YOU done?”
“Everyone… they’re dead… you promised you needed it to clear the gate… you told me…”
“I told you a lie.” His smile didn’t change. “You were the fool who believed me. Their deaths are on your hands as much as mine.”
I stood up, checking my inventory and beginning to drop any group items. “I’m quitting your team. I’d rather die alone out there then stay on under you. After what you've done."
“I’d rethink that, Healer.” He held up a hand, and a bright red gleam shined between his fingers.
“You bastard.” I froze at the sight, unable to move, as realization slowly dawned on me of the extent of his betrayal. “You…”
He stood up, not bothering to listen to the rest of my cursing. “Save your energy.” He paused at the doorway, his gaze settling on my tear-stained face without much interest. “You’ll need it. We ride early tomorrow, Healer. Be ready.”
______________________
“JACK!” I sat up in bed, breathing heavily. I was filled with terror and rage, and it took a moment to realize my familiar surroundings. Light blue walls, intricate draperies, stacks of large books on topics ranging from anatomy to pharmacology. My room. I sighed with relief.
Thinking of my dream, and the bad memory contained within, I stiffened again, slowly slipping my hand into my collar and gripping the cold hard surface of the amulet within. I sat silently, clutching it so tightly that the hard edges began to dig into the skin of my palm. Eventually my speeding heart rate slowed, and my breathing normalized. I was in my house, out of Jack’s reach.
As I calmed down, a notice popped up in my vision.
**You have rested through the night. HP and MP are restored in full. Adverse conditions such as fatigue are eliminated.  You are encouraged to continue your mission in securing the advancement of the human race! Good luck!**
I waved away the notice with a frown. Since the Downfall, since we had woken up in this strange world crafted after a VR game, there had been only vague references to the “purpose” behind it. The original message had mentioned an “opportunity for improvement” but given little other information. Who was it that trapped us all here? Why did they do it? And are they still watching us?
I shook my head. All we knew was that there were one hundred gates to pass to “complete” this mission. Perhaps then we would understand the purpose behind all of this, the meaning of all this pain, death and suffering.
But we were only on the forty-second gate.
I went downstairs, and paused when I spotted Alton the Great Evil Wizard, looking nothing like his terrifying reputation as he was sitting cross-legged on the floor, calmly sewing a black robe. Hearing my footsteps, he looked up and grinned, waving with the hand holding the threaded needle.
“Good morning, Miss Healer!”
The address caught me by surprise. Jack and the party had always just called me “healer” or “the healer.” The word was always said dripping with disdain. They had hated my profession, hated the embarrassment of having me on their team, made even worse by the fact that they actually needed me around. But when Alton said it… it just seemed normal.
I think my sense of normal has been greatly skewed.
I regained my composure and nodded at him. “Good morning. What are you working on?”
“Repairing my torn robes.” He gestured a pile next to him on the floor. “They have low durability so they break down easily.”
“Shouldn’t you just buy new ones?”
He nodded. “I could… but prefer to save my money for the things I really want. Better to keep it close, since you never know what important things you might need it for… especially in this world.”
“Says the guy who put a 100,000 gold bounty on the head of the Hero?”
“Exactly!” He grinned viciously. “I save my money for important things like annoying idiots like him.”
I laughed at that. After another pause, I sat down on the floor next to him and grabbed a piece of dark cloth from the pile. Pulling a needle and dark thread out of my inventory, I began to stitch.
“You sew?” Alton asked, seeming surprised.
I pointed at his chest, where the stitched wound was still visible. “If I can patch you up, pretty sure I can sew up a sleeve.”
“…Good point… although I guess I didn’t realize the skills were transferable. Did you take on a Tailor side quest?”
“It’s not a skill, not a Fantasy Realm type skill at least.” I kept my eyes on my hands that were picking up speed as muscle memory took over. “I always liked to sew, even before the Downfall… it was a good way to relax. It seemed logical to decompress doing the type of sewing that didn’t have the possibility to kill someone if your stitch came loose.”
“Wait…” He held up his hand, shocked. “Were you a doctor before the Downfall?”
“Yeah, but I was still in surgery residency. So wasn’t like I was operating on my own… “
Alton blinked, seemingly trying to absorb this information. “That’s… impressive.”
I kept my head down, my hands moving smoothly without hesitation. “Not in my family.”
“Ah… familial disappointment. Something with which I am quite familiar.” There was a sad tone in his voice, a look in his eyes that seemed almost close to despair. “Unlike you, I did not go into the family business… making me somewhat of the black sheep of the family.”
“Your family business?” I probed, curious.
“Well, it wasn’t wizardry, that’s for sure.” I sensed he was avoiding the question, and dropped the topic. I didn’t know Alton that well, certainly not enough to push him to open up. I tried to find something else to talk about instead.
“So… what do you think about what I said yesterday?”
He seemed quietly relieved that I moved on. “Which sentence?”
“About finding a couple other people for our party.”
He continued to sew, thinking it over. “I guess it depends…”
“Depends on what?”
Alton looked up, his eyes serious. “On if you trust them.”
I paused at that, before finally answering in a cold tone. “I don’t trust anyone.”
The amulet around my neck felt icy cold against my skin, as always, as if reminding me of its presence, reminding me of the consequence of trusting someone.
“Not anymore.”
Alton nodded seriously at that, and I remembered the title that I saw in his Stat screen. “The Betrayed.” Given the particulars of the system of this world, I didn’t want to know how severe of a betrayal it would have to be to actually bestow a title like that.
Looks like we are both haunted by the consequences of trusting the wrong person. I feel like I already know the kind of person he is... even if it's not been a long time.
As if he heard my thoughts, he spoke up. “We have a lot in common. I’ve been watching you for quite some time. I have a good understanding of the type of person you are… and aren’t. I considered all the options before inviting you into my party. If you have someone you know that well… I would at least be willing to meet them.”
“You were watching me?” I raised an eyebrow at that. “Why?”
“First, I was interested because you were a healer. I didn’t think any had survived. Then I noticed you cleaning up after the Hero’s party’s antics. And then… it was partly because I was scared of you.” He smiled to soften the blow, but I still froze for a moment, before forcing my hands to continue.
“Scared of me?”
“Yeah… since I’m fairly certain that you are the only human in this world who is strong enough to kill me.”
I processed that. “So it’s a ‘keep your enemies close’ type deal?”
“Nah, nothing like that.” He laughed quietly. “It’s just the more I got to know you, the more I couldn’t escape a thought: That I thought you would be a good friend.”
“… You shouldn’t trust me.”  My tone was flat.
Alton seemed unfazed. “Why not? Are you planning to betray me?”
I shook my head.
“Then what’s the problem?”
“You don’t know everything yet… even if you’ve been watching… there’s things… terrible, awful things you need to know about me before making any decisions.”
“None of us are saints in this world.” He briefly closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, before meeting my gaze once more. I could see the guilt within. “We were trapped here, forced to survive. We’ve all done things we regret. Don’t forget: I’m not far behind you in human kill numbers.”
There was a long pause.
“What are you thinking?” He finally asked, breaking the silence.
I knotted off the thread as I finished closing the tear, cutting it off with a neat motion. “I think you’re strangely naïve for someone called the ‘great evil wizard.’”
“If you say so.” Alton chuckled.
“I do.”
“So are you going to introduce this naïve evil wizard to your friends?” He finished sewing his robe, tying it off somewhat clumsily.
I froze at the word “friends."
______________________
“I need your help.” Jack’s eyes were intense as he cornered me, my back against a cold brick wall. The solidity of it grounded me, the realness of it reminding me that this strange world I lived in was my new normal.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea. If the power gets into the wrong hands…” As I tried to turn away, he grabbed my face, forcing me to look at him. My skin crawled at  his touch, but the hard grip prevented me from pulling away.
“We don’t have a choice. The next gate is impossible without your help. If you refuse… everyone will die.”
He finally released me, and I tried to back away, but only succeeded in hitting my head against the brick. After a few long moments, I sighed.
“Just for the gate, right? You promise?”
“Of course…” He smiled. “We’re friends after all.”
______________________
I took a deep breath, ignoring Alton’s concerned look. “No. Not friends. But strong people who might be interested in partnering with us.”
I had no friends. I didn't dare. Not since I stopped calling Jack and his group that.
“Ah of course. `And you think these strong people will be okay partnering with me?” He pointed at himself with a quizzical expression.
I smiled confidently. “I have no doubt.”
______________________
SLAM!
The door slammed in our faces for the third time. Inside the building we could hear a muffled “GO AWAY!”
Alton looked over at me with a smile. “No doubt, huh?”
I frowned. “ I underestimated your bad reputation… or maybe mine.”
“I resent that. My bad reputation is more than enough to scare good prospects away on its own.” He glanced back at the door with a raised eyebrow. “Besides if they are too scared to even join us, I imagine they wouldn’t be that much help in a fight.”
“Well, you don’t have to worry. I’ve run out of suckers… I’m mean strong heroes to ask.”
He grinned at that, as we walked away from the last house and towards the 38th level City. The main road was deserted, this was one of the higher levels, and very few people advanced this far. Many chose to stay in the lower levels, avoiding danger. I kept a close eye on the surrounding forest, tense. The roads were generally safe, but the wariness remained all the same.
“So, just the three prospects, huh?”
“People on the World Leader Board who aren’t already in a party and not total psychopaths?” I shook my head, distracted from my obsessive watching of our surroundings. “You’re lucky I could think of three.”
“Well maybe it will just have to be you and me. I mean we ARE the top two players on the World Leader Board. It could be enough.”
We walked forward as I continued to ponder his words. I had not really seen Alton in action. However, his ranking and reputation as the world’s strongest player couldn’t be denied. “It might be enough, for a while. But I don’t know if that will carry us to the end. The gates are getting harder and harder… “
“Well, it’s not like teammates are going to just fall from the sky…”
“LOOK OUUUUUT!”
Alton and I rolled out of the way of the person falling from a nearby tree, both readying for battle. Alton whispered quietly, activating a dark magical flame that danced around his fingers. I on the other hand, simply stood in place, hands resting at my sides. If there was one thing I was good at, it was killing. I just needed to know if it was necessary. In the corner of my vision I confirmed my filled HP and MP, with some reassurance.
The falling person hit the ground with a loud CLANG and her metal armor slightly deformed from the impact. She the rolled several times, coming to a loud stop on her back at my feet. Her young, bright eyes stared up at me with delight.
“Healer!”
I looked down at her, and sighed. “Hello, Stephanie.”
Alton glanced at her, and then looked at me. “You know her?”
“WE’RE BEST FRIENDS!”
“No.”
Stephanie and I answered at the same time. Alton laughed, and held out a hand to the teenage girl. “Nice to meet you, Miss Healer’s best friend. I’m Alton.”
Her eyes widened. “The evil wizard?” I braced myself for her to scream or run away similar to the prior “strong” people I had tried to recruit. Instead, she smiled with great relief. “THANK GOODNESS!”
“Huh.” Alton seemed just as confused as me. “Never had that reaction before.”
Stephanie in response pointed a group of monsters emerging from the nearby forest, heading towards us. “Can you guys lend a hand?”
I studied the new threat carefully. There were eight wolf like creatures, 5 feet tall with long horns, large jaws and rows upon rows of blood-stained teeth. They moved as a pack, snarling and howling as they closed in on their prey.
Alton shrugged nonchalantly at the sight, and pointed at me. “I’ll help if she says it’s okay.”
“Great!” Stephanie sat up with difficultly, her armor hindering the movement, and placed her hands together in a praying gesture. “Please?”
I pushed up my sleeves. “Sure. I had some energy I wanted to get out anyways. Alton, you take the four on the left?”
He nodded in response and began chanting.
I faced the four beasts on the right with a thoughtful expression. One out of the group was larger than the rest, likely the leader of the pack.
**The Healer has activated wordless incantation. -300MP per use.**
The wolf monsters were racing closer. I sensed the end of Alton’s chant coming and raised a hand, pointing.
**The Healer has cast Immobilization -10MP/sec while active.**
The three smaller wolves froze, tumbling to the ground. The larger stumbled, but shrugged off the spell, obviously having some magical resistance. I moved forward, going at my highest speed. If a spell won’t work…  I pulled a syringe out of my inventory. As I reached the leader. I saw Alton finish his chant out of the corner of my eye. A black flame surrounded the monsters he faced, burning them to ash.
**Alton the Great Evil Wizard is credited with 4 monster kills, awarded 160XP and +4 fame. You receive 20XP as a party member.**
The lead monster snapped at me as I leapt over its head, its teeth missing my arm my a hair. I jumped and straddled its back, grabbing its rough, stained fur in one hand, and plunging the syringe into the large muscle near its shoulder joint with the other.
**The Healer has used custom potion – Anesthetic. Patient is paralyzed and sedated for 3 minutes.**
The monster under me let out a groan and collapsed to the ground. Letting out a sigh of relief, I looked over at the smaller wolf monsters and reached out a hand.
**The Healer has cast Debridement x 3. – 60MP.**
Black blood spilled out from large wounds in their necks, pooling under the three bodies, soaking the grass beneath them.
**The Healer is credited with 3 monster kills, awarded 120XP and +3 fame.**
Now that the small fry are out of the way… I waved away the notification and pulled a scalpel out of my inventory, the small blade in my hand reflecting the bright sunlight.
If spells won’t work, then I’ll just do it the old-fashioned way. I couldn’t use weapons, only medical/healing potions and tools. A scalpel although tiny, was the closest thing I had to a bladed weapon. I reached out towards the wolf’s neck.
“WAIT!” Stephanie cried out, causing me to pause before I cut the monster’s throat. “Don’t cut it!”
I raised an eyebrow. “You want me to spare the monster that was hunting you?” I noticed that Alton had kept a small amount of magic around his hand, ready to strike at any moment. It was strangely reassuring to see that he wasn’t always so trusting of others.
Stephanie looked at me, confused. “What? No! I just meant please don’t CUT it! I need an undamaged pelt for a quest. Can you kill it without hurting its pelt?”
I thought it over, still holding the scalpel to its throat in case the potion wore off. “Depends. What about the quest rewards?”
She deflated slightly at the question. “50-50 split? I did spend days tracking them down.”
“Deal.” I put my scalpel away, and pull up a buckled strap. With a quick practiced movement, I placed it around the wolf’s head, and tightened it over the neck.
**Healer has utilized tourniquet. Blood flow to the affected area is cut off. Please utilize caution, patient received 10 damage for each second that the tourniquet is in place.**
I waited patiently.
**WARNING! Patient airway is compressed and is becoming dangerously hypoxic. Please secure airway to continue healing. Patient will receive 50 damage for each second that airway compression remains in place.**
I continued to wait.
**The Healer is credited with 1 level 20 monster boss kill, awarded 200 XP and +5 fame.**
I removed the tourniquet, wiping down the strap before replacing it into my inventory. I glanced over at Alton and Stephanie who stared at me in surprise. “Isn’t that what you wanted?”
“…Umm… did you just kill a boss monster… with a syringe and a belt?”
“It’s a tourniquet, but yes.”
“Cool.” Alton gave me a thumbs up.
Stephanie shrugged off her apparent shock and ran to the boss monster, using a skill to remove the pelt without any tools. She then paused, and stood in front of both of us, shuffling back and forth slightly.
“So…”
I cleaned my hands with a handkerchief and some water, not looking at her. “What do you want this time?”
“This time?” I waved away Alton’s question and looked at Stephanie, who didn’t make eye contact.
“Well, I guess I wasn’t here JUST for the wolf pelt… I may have also come here looking for you… and remembered to finish the quest when I saw them in the forest on my way over.”
I didn’t change my expression. “What do you want?”
Striking a pose, slightly hindered by her dented metal armor, she answered dramatically: “…I heard you were recruiting… Can I join your party?”
"..."
"..."
Alton and I stared at her.
“Wait. How did you know we were recruiting?”
“After you asked three people you are seriously asking this?" She shook her head in disgust. "You both are famous! It’s been all over the world chat since you were first sighted together!”
Groaning, I pulled up the display that I rarely opened anymore. After the Downfall, the people pulled into this game like world had quickly discovered a worldwide chat option. There were many different topics, guides and other discussion available to read through and comment on.
In the first few weeks after waking up in this world, I used to read through the gossip and other new topics daily, hoping desperately that someone would discover what had happened, why we were here, or perhaps some tips on succeeding as a healer. Instead I quickly discovered it was a toxic cesspool of humanity, filled with petty arguments, lies and gossip.
I quickly became a common topic of discussion on the chat board. As the only high level healer, part of the Hero’s party, and the player with the highest number of human kills, I was infamous, with entire forums dedicated to analyzing how I was accomplishing it.  The conclusions they often came to were often not very flattering towards me.
There were also fan clubs and forums dedicated to the Hero and his party, and they were also my strongest critics as well, accusing me of dragging the hero and his party down. I flinched from the memories, but quickly pulled up the world chat, noting that the top topic of discussion was about Alton and me.
______________________
“THE HEALER AND THE EVIL WIZARD HAVE TEAMED UP AND ARE RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS!”
The infamous mooching healer from the Hero’s party has officially split from them and joined the Evil Wizard! No one knows what horrific plans they are concocting, but whatever it is must require strong people, as they have been sighted trying to recruit two free agents on the leader board, and were last seen on level 38, likely to recruit Dallas the Barbarian! We’ll keep you posted!
______________________
I frowned at the post, quickly scanning the comments below.
______________________
“ Good riddance! It was always a drag to see her running behind the hero’s party, getting carried by them. “
“That’s terrifying! The Evil Wizard has friends? If you see them, you better run!”
“Who would want to joined such a cursed party?”
“… So who else is shipping them?”
“Weirdos will ship anything with anything. Get out of here with that nonsense.”
“Pieces of trash will always gravitate together.”
______________________
I looked at the last comment, which was posted by Rita the Holy Archer. She was a member of the Hero’s party as well, and not someone I had ever gotten along with.
Alton was staring blankly, obviously scrolling through the chat as well. He made a weird expression and waved his hand back and forth, dismissing it and muttering to himself. I stepped forward, patting his shoulder comfortingly.
“Don’t worry, it’s just a bunch of idiots chattering.”
“Worried?” He looked at me, confused. “I’m not worried about the comments. There’s a whole thread dedicated to taking bets on what sort of horrible death I’ll have. This is child’s play.”
“Then why the weird face?”
He looked away awkwardly, mumbling something I couldn’t hear.
“What did you…?”
“I saw FAN ART, okay? They made fan art of the two of us…” He covered his face with his hand.
“Why would they…?” I paused. “Can I see it?”
“No. No. I would rather die.”
What on earth did he see? Before I could ask further, Stephanie pushed again.
“Guys? I’m still here! Can I join?”
Alton stared coldly at her. “I don’t know you, or trust you. It depends on what Miss Healer has to say.”
Stephanie turned towards me, but only received an eye roll in response to her puppy eyes. “I can vouch for the fact that she’s strong. She’s a barbarian warrior, and obsessed on leveling up her strength stats.”
He looked at the girl in her late teens and her tiny frame. “…If you say so”
I sighed. “Show him your sword.”
“Sure!” Grinning, Stephanie raised her hand, an enormous cleaver type sword longer than her body appearing in it. It looked incredibly heavy, but she waved it around as if it were weightless. Alton applauded politely at her show of strength. Finally, she put it away. “I’m forty-third on the Leader Board, partially due to the fame I gained for my strength stats, which are the highest in the world here.”
“The real question is…” Alton turned towards me. “Why wasn’t she on your list of people to recruit?”
“I told you my list was strong people who weren’t in a party who weren’t total psychopaths.” I looked at Stephanie pointedly. “She is absolutely crazy AND she’s in party already.”
She grinned. “Not anymore, Healer! I quit my party the minute I saw you were recruiting on the forum! I owe you my life, how could I not take advantage of that opportunity?”
“And your fan club of a party allowed that?”
“I had to chop off a hand or two, but eventually they got the point and agreed to let me be happy and follow my dream.” Seemingly unconcerned by the intense violent acts she spoke about, she held out her hand to me with a smile. “So do we have a deal?”
I looked up at the sky. “We do need a tanker…” Crazy or not, she is really strong... I took a deep breath, and shook her hand. “Fine.”
“YAY!”
**Stephanie the lovely Barbarian has accepted your invitation to join your party! She will have access to shared inventory, and her stats will become visible upon medical scan.**
“Should we head on, or are anymore of your friends going to suddenly jump out of trees to join us?” Alton finally asked, breaking the silence.
“Who knows?” I turned to Stephanie. “Where do you need to turn in your quest?”
“Where else?” She grinned. “Winter’s General Store.”
"..." Rubbing my forehead, and trying not to cry, I asked quietly, “Are you out of your mind? You realize he would kill you if you didn’t bring back the pelt?” Alton looked at me questioningly, but I gestured at him to let it go and he remained silent.
“No he wouldn’t!” Stephanie burst out. “He promised that since I was your friend he wouldn't kill me! ... He would only maim me if I failed.”
“You’re not my friend.”
“That’s right, we’re not friends… we’re BEST friends!”
“Heaven help us.” I groaned and pulled up a traveling artifact. “Let’s go see Winter before he decides to come see us.”
______________________
As we arrived in level 1 City, we quietly moved towards the back alleys near the water front. It was a mostly deserted area known for its paid killers, black markets and the most desperate part of humanity. The few people we ran into were cloaked and minding their own business, but I kept my guard up, refusing to dismiss wordless chanting despite the mana drain. I wanted to be able to fight at a moments notice.
“Who is Winter?” Alton asked finally as he followed us through the winding and increasingly dark streets.
“An NPC!” Stephanie answered cheerfully. “A really powerful one. He really likes the Healer too”
Alton was shocked, as I knew he would be. There were scattered being that looked like humans, but weren't that could give quests, termed Non Player Characters given their similarity in role to NPCs in the game. However, since their discovery in this world since the Downfall, their interactions with humans were limited. There were a few that would hand out quests, a few that ran shops, but all of them had one thing in common:
They despised humans.
They treated human players as lesser beings, only worthy of cheap and dirty missions or tasks that they didn’t want to take care of. Many attempts at befriending or learning about them were made in the beginning, but universally they responded with only vitriol and disdain.
No one knew why they were here. If they were part of whatever scheme this was that had trapped us in this world. But we knew one thing: Any attempt to harm them went poorly. They could be harmed. Could even be killed. But any player who did so would find themselves hunted relentlessly by the City 1 guard, who wouldn’t rest until the offending player was dead. After a handful of deaths, this became the new normal and people learned to leave NPCs alone for the most part.
I gave most NPCs a wide berth. I didn’t understand them, or trust them.
But Winter was the exception.
We arrived at the store, pushing it open to the sound of a tinkling bell overhead.
“Winter! Guess who I brought?!!” Stephanie crowed as she pranced in, before coming to a sudden stop. I halted behind her, and Alton beside me as we stared silently at the group already in the store, arguing with an annoyed appearing Winter.
“What bad luck.” Alton whispered, and I had to agree.
It was the Hero’s party.

You’d never know (Part 2)
Tumblr media
Pairing : Dean Winchester X Reader
Word count : 1.2k
Warnings : angst, based on s13 ep10 (wayward sisters) so spoilers, canon violence, more like a filler chapter. Not proofread.
A/n: I have no self control when it comes to Dean Winchester so I’m turning this into a mini series😭
I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO COPY MY WORK, TRANSLATE IT OR POST IT TO ANY OTHER PLATFORM. REBLOGS ARE APPRECIATED.
“Sam, can you call me back I just need to know that you're okay.” Jody Mills left a voicemail to Sam Winchester. She had called the older Winchester but when he didn’t answer she called the younger one. However neither answered, she left a voicemail to Sam and decided to call Y/n. Hoping she might respond. There was knock on the door and Jody opened the door immediately.
“Patience?” She questioned looking at the young girl.
“Jody I had a vision something bad is coming.” Was all it took Jody to immediately call Y/n L/n.
Y/n didn’t know how much time had passed since Sam and Dean left her there, it was still dark out there, she was still standing in front of the warehouse that the angels took Kaia to. Y/n still hadn’t reeled from the betrayal she face not many hours ago. Her eyes were blood shot red from keeping in the tears that she kept from falling. She was angry and frustrated, she was angry at Dean, at herself for letting him hurt her so easily. Its her own fault she gave her weakness right into his hands for him to use it against her. She felt pathetic, still crying for the one who hurt her the most, he doesn’t deserve her tears.
Her head was pounding against her skull and she could feel a splitting hot white pain surging through her head. She groaned dropping down to her knees her fingers curling on the pavement, wanting to distract herself from the emotional pain by inflicting physical pain on herself. She felt vibration of her phone against her jean pocket, and pulled out to see an incoming call from Jody.
“Hey.!” She answered as calmly as possible.
“Hey where are you? Where’s Sam and Dean? They haven’t been answering their phones. Everything okay?” Jody bombarded her with questions. “I think I need your help.”
“I’ll be at your house in a few hours.” Was the only thing Y/n said before she hung up.
Y/n was in no mood to have a heart-to-heart with Jody and the older woman clearly needed help. Y/n might as well distract herself. She picked herself from the ground, brushing the dirt off the clothes she started walking. She reached the main road and walked the sidewalk waiting for a car to pass-by. It took her a few hours to reach Jody’s house. She knocked on the door, the door opened revealing Claire. Y/n let herself in when she spotted Alex and an unfamiliar girl.
“Y/n this is Patience. Patience this is Y/n, she’s a hunter.” Jody introduced the girl to the hunter.
“You’re Missouri’s granddaughter. Your grandma was a great woman.” Y/n said shaking hands with the girl. The girl nodded in acknowledgment.
“So, Sam and Dean, what do we know?” Claire said walking towards the couch and plopping down on it.
“I think they’re missing.” Jody replied. “Last I heard from was this voicemail from Sam.” She said playing his voicemail. Sam’s voice told them they’ve been looking for girl named Kaia. “That was three days ago.” Jody addd.“Speaking of, why aren’t you with them?”
Y/n’s heart dropped as she was reminded back of why she wasn’t with the boys in the first place. Jody obviously didn’t know and unknowingly struck a nerve, the wound was way too fresh to be touched. She took a deep breath before speaking.
“I uh…” she cleared her throat scourging her brain for a convincing lie. “Jack said something about going to the Wind Caves. They’re with this dream walker girl, Kaia that Sam mentioned. She can help them find Mary. I uh volunteered to stay back to fight the angels who’re after Jack.” She spoke fast, avoiding eye contact.
“Alright.” Jody didn’t seem convinced but she didn’t prod. Y/n could feel the tension between the other three females present in the room. She gestured Jody to follow her into the kitchen. When the two of them were out of earshot of the two girls Y/n folded her arms across her chest and raised her brow. Jody sighed before speaking.
“It’s Claire.”
“What about her?”
“She wants to go. She wants to find Sam and Dean.” Jody said exasperatedly.
“So? It’s Sam and Dean! She might not say it but she cares for them alot and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with letting her come with. The girl’s been hunting on her own just fine.” Y/n replied not understanding.
“Patience had a vision.” Jody replied. “She saw Claire getting stabbed and I can’t let that happen, Y/n.”
“We won’t let anything happen to her. We’ll keep her safe.” Y/n replied. “You can’t keep her locked up, Jody. I know you want to protect her but this isn’t the right way.” She said patting the sherrif’s shoulder and the woman nodded.
Alex went to her shift at the hospital. Claire went out on her own, then two of them came back with Kaia.
“What’re you doing here? Where’s Sam, Dean and Jack?” Y/n questioned the dream walker but she kept quiet. “Where are they god damnit answer me!” Y/n snapped. Her heart shouldn’t be threatening to leap out of her chest at the thought of losing Dean, because she already did. But she couldn’t help herself.
Kaia informed that they’d been heading towards Sioux Falls when they got run over and they pulled into an abandoned boatyard. Jack opened a door to the other world but Kaia lost control and accidentally took them to The Bad Place and she doesn’t remember anything after that. Alex quickly found it was the Larsen brother’s courtyard.
While the the girls were gearing up, Y/n heard Alex and Patience scream. She grabbed her gun and immediately rushed upstairs to Alex’s room. There was an unfamiliar creature closing in on Patience. Y/n immediately shot the thing in the head. It didn’t kill him but it slowed him.
“Run. Get everyone out of the house.” She told the two girls and they ran for their lives. She grabbed the creature by the shoulders and kneed him in the stomach, his weapon dropping to the floor as she did. She picked it up and stabbed him with it, killing him.
“That thing is not from here, which means the rifts still open. We gotta hurry.” Y/n said as she ran out of the house.
While Y/n and the girls drive to the Wind Caves, Sam and Dean were stuck in The Bad Place The two had been walking around the place to find a way out when Sam spoke.
“Dude what the hell was that?”
“What?” Dean asked looking around cautiously.
“With Y/n.”
“I don’t wanna talk about it.” Dean replied walking further. Sam sighed knowing there’s no point in arguing.
Y/n, Jody and the girls arrived at the boatyard soon enough. Y/n noticed another car parked beside the Impala. Donna got out of the car as soon as she noticed their arrival.
“Thought we could use the backup.” Jody commented as Donna pulled Alex and Claire in a hug. Y/n gave her a nod.
Y/n hoped they could find Sam and Dean or it would get messy really soon.

Identity Crisis Thoughts
I read Identity Crisis, which is the 4-comic arc where Tim’s dad goes into a coma and his mom dies. Here are some interesting things I found:
Trivia/Fun Facts
Tim is part of the Sherlock Holmes society, and receives their bulletin. He uses a TV in the Batcave to watch Basil Rathborne’s Sherlock Holmes.
Jack and Janet have a personal secretary named Jeremy that they use as a go-between even when sitting a couple feet away from each other.
Jack and Janet call each other darling when they’re getting along.
Drake Industries does indeed have a policy not to pay ransom for any employee.
The Batcave has a library, which includes a book called “Myriopoda of the World”. The library has a glass ceiling, where you can see the cave and bats—I think Jason would appreciate this.
Tim describes doing electronic detective work as similar to meditating.
Tim appears to have a room/PJs at Wayne Manor.
Characterization Notes
Tim: Tim is able to compartmentalize and focus well, working on a case even as he fears for his parents lives, but still gets angry when the situation is fraught. He’s resentful of Bruce for hiding information and not giving his parents’ case his full attention, and screams at him for a few panels—even punching Jason’s memorial, at which point he abruptly calms down. He is also upset about his parents arguing, and says that if it makes them argue less he wants them to stay away for months. Overall, though, he’s cheerful and friendly, even offering to discuss philosophy with Anarky. He displays a lot of skill with hacking/computers and can catch Anarky despite not being far into his training. Tim looks at Jason’s memorial a lot and aspires to be as good as him.
Jack and Janet Drake: Jack and Janet have a fraught relationship with each other, but do care when the situation gets tough. Jack Drake talks like your typical entitled rich guy. They aren’t the best parents to Tim, but they clearly feel affection, sending him a postcard signed “Love, Mom & Dad”. However, they rarely call him and are often wishy-washy on their return date. When scared they’re going to die, Jack tells Janet, “Think of Tim—how he must be feeling. Poor kid must be worried sick!” Janet pretty much agrees that they took Tim for granted. Bruce is aware of Tim’s parents’ absences, and reassures Tim that they care about him.
Bruce: Overall gives “very loving but emotionally constipated” vibes. He wears his costume and cowl in the Manor to talk to Tim, which Tim views as Bruce not wanting to show his real emotions. Bruce states in his internal monologue that he finds it difficult to “be natural” with Tim due to fear. However, he comforts Tim multiple times, and although he foists him off on Alfred to work on a case, he apologizes later. He offers to take the day off to be with Tim while waiting for news about his parents, and hugs him while delivering bad news. When Tim gets angry about Bruce hiding information, Bruce just tells him to “get it out” and calmly lets him shout. He also smiles at Tim watching Sherlock Holmes in the Batcave instead of being mad at the waste of time.

Pink Pastels Pt 22
Tumblr media
Description: A bunch of chaotic things happen to Miguel while he's just trying to have a normal day at work. TW: Gabi's school is attacked, but no children or innocents are harmed! Pt 23
“O’Hara, you gotta see this, you’re a fan of Spiderman right?” Jack, one of the geneticists, calls Miguel over, his phone turned sideways in his hand.
“I wouldn’t say a fan…more like an appreciative citizen.” Miguel says, sliding into the chair beside Jack.
He likes Jack, he’s a good man and a dedicated employee. He’s also the only one besides Monica he’ll seek out when he doesn’t want to eat lunch alone.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Check this out.”
It’s an…edited video of him, titled “Coolest Spiderman Saves.”
“What is this?” He asks, squinting at the video as it begins again.
Jack gives him a disbelieving look. “You don’t know what an edit is? Dude, you’re not that old.”
“Watch it.” Miguel warns halfheartedly.
“Yeah, Miguel’s real sensitive about his age, it happens to the elderly, ya know?” Monica teases, as she breezes by on her way to the fridge.
“Aren’t we the same age?” Miguel shoots back.
“Aren’t we the same age.” She mocks, grabbing a soda from the fridge.
“Real mature, Mon.” He drawls, rolling his eyes and standing, intending to go back to his office.
“Wait, Miguel, the boss wants to talk to you.” Monica says, her mocking tone gone, replaced by slight hesitance.
Tyler Stone is different in this universe. He’s less…everything. He looks up when Miguel enters and beckons for him to take a seat. “So—Miguel, thanks for coming.”
“Monica said you wanted to speak with me, sir?” Miguel keeps things professional with him, even though it’s painfully clear this universe’s Tyler Stone has begun to long for a more familial relationship.
“You don’t have to call me—yes, I wanted to speak with you about your plus one for the gala. Mon said you weren’t bringing anyone.”
Miguel blinks, thoroughly caught off-guard. Was this really what Stone called him in for?
“That was before.”
“Before?”
“Before I asked Y/N Y/L/N, to accompany me.”
“And who is this y/n?” Stone asks, as if he couldn’t find out with a simple search.
“She’s a friend.” Miguel says, his fangs itching to break through the gums and tear Stone’s throat out for even daring to ask about you. You’re his, no one needs to know anything more than that.
“A friend.” Stone repeats, his blond eyebrows furrowed.
“Mr. Stone, is this the only reason you asked me to come in here? Because my team needs me back in the lab.” Miguel’s already standing, halfway to the door.
“That’s it, thanks, Miguel.” Stone says, half professional, half almost mournful…?
He shakes it off and heads back to his office. Stone had plenty of time to be a father, especially in this universe. It wasn’t on him to fix Stone’s mistakes.
Miguel settles into his desk chair and shakes his mouse, waking his computer. Spreadsheets, lab reports, expense reports, and DNA analyses, that’s what he needs to focus on.
He gets about halfway through his to-do list when Lyla pops up in his peripheral vision.
“Miguel, you need to see this.” She flicks her fingers and a holographic newsreel plays before his eyes.
“Reports are saying that the target of the attack was Steve Rodger’s Elementary School.” A newswoman says, her tone even, her expression neutral but not uncaring.
Miguel feels his stomach lurch, and he pushes back from his desk, his chair clattering to the floor as he moves in a hurry, sprinting down the hall, ignoring concerned questions from his coworkers.
“Lyla, tell me what’s going on.” He says, his breathing erratic as he frantically swings through the city, his mind replaying the moment he lost Gabriella over and over again.
“No reports of any dead or injured, the hostile is a disgruntled employee of the school board, his kids go to the school, I doubt he’ll make any rash decisions.” Lyla says calmly, scanning through news segments and police reports.
He can’t lose her, not again. He can’t lose you either, not when he’s just found you.
The school is in sight when he hears glass shattering and metal creaking.
He scans the outpouring of students and teachers streaming out the doors of the school. He doesn’t see you or Gabi.
“Lyla.” He says, voice strained, his hands shaking as he lands.
“School board guy apparently has superpowers? Yeah, okay, Donald Wilkerson, did some weird experimenting after his wife left him, looks like he’s got metal manipulation?”
“Tap into y/n’s necklace, where are they?” He orders, pushing through the crowd and into the school.
“Shit, they’re trapped in the nurse’s office.” Lyla throws up a map, but he knows the way, he’s studied the layout of Gabi’s school extensively.
Around him is chaos, the building is creaking, windows are shattered, books left scattered, desks and chairs overturned. He makes it to the nurse’s office, only to see it break away from the school and begin to rise up into the air.
Miguel can hear Gabi crying and your frantic attempts to calm her. He webs himself up, claws digging into the wooden door before he rips it off, not even watching as it spirals to the ground.
“Back away, Spiderman, she’s mine.” Donald yells from the flying piece of metal he’s standing on.
He’s going to rip that jackass apart. “There’s a child in there.”
“Not mine.” Donald sneers, raising his hand and slicing it through the air in Miguel’s direction.
Miguel flings himself inside, the chunk of metal whizzing through the space he previously occupied.
“Did I forget to mention his ex-wife is the nurse?” Lyla asks, her lips pressed together tightly.
“Yeah, you did.” He snaps, scanning the room for you and Gabi.
You’re tucked into a corner, Gabi’s face hidden in your neck. Your arms are wrapped tightly around her, shielding her from the rapid winds whipping through the door and broken windows. There’s glass all over the floor and the beds are overturned. The nurse cowers beside you and Gabi, her hand in one of yours, the other gripping the safety bar attached to the wall. It’s an attempt to keep the three of you from falling as the room shakes and dips from Donald’s superpowered tantrum.
Even terrified both you and her are trying to protect his daughter, his heart swells for a moment.
“Y/N, y/n, we’re saved.” She says, shaking your hand slightly.
You look up, and your eyes meet Miguel’s.
It’s as if someone drove a spike through his heart. Your face is tear stained, your eyes wide with fear, your body trembling as you hug Gabi tightly.
“It’s okay, sweetheart, Spiderman is here to save us.” Your voice is shaking, but you try to run a comforting hand down Gabi’s back.
Gabi lifts her head, and the stake is driven further in. She’s utterly terrified.
“Te tengo mija, todo está bien.” He calls to her over the roaring winds. Trsl: I got you daughter, everything is good/okay.
Gabi nods at him, her bottom lip trembling as she tries to stop her tears.
“Victoria, baby, please, I’m sorry.” Donald says, floating to the empty doorway.
“You’re sorry? You’re sorry? What the hell kind of apology is this, Donald?” Victoria shouts, rising to her feet, still holding onto the safety bar and you.
“I just wanted to show you that I’m strong now, like you wanted.” Donald explains, desperation clear in his tone.
“I wanted to strengthen our marriage, not for you to get dangerous superpowers.” Victoria retorts, her face a portrait of frustration and disbelief. She releases the safety bar, and your hand, as she steps forward.
Miguel takes the opportunity to lunge, tackling Donald to the floor and raking his claws down his chest, one hand around his throat. “You’re a fucking coward, attacking a school because you couldn’t be enough of a man and try to fix your marriage? You’re pathetic.” He growls, tightening his grip on Donald.
Donald sputters in response, then his eyes begin to flutter shut and everything begins to fall.
Gabi screams, you scream, Victoria screams and Miguel releases Donald, then grabs Victoria using a web to sling her safely to the ground.
When he turns back to get you and Gabi, he feels something grab his ankle.
Donald is hanging on by a thread, using the last bit of his strength to attempt to drag Miguel away.
Miguel kicks him off hard, the sound of bones cracking as Donald’s grip fails.
Everything feels too fast and too slow. The building is falling, fast, fast, fast, and his steps are slow, slow, slow. After what feels like a lifetime, he grabs you and Gabi slinging a web, yanking the three of you out of the building and onto a nearby balcony.
You collapse onto the ground, hyperventilating, and Gabi is sobbing, clinging to him, so tight he’s afraid she might accidentally choke him.
He kneels down, one hand on Gabi’s back, the other gently raising your head. “It’s over, y/n, you’re safe.”
You fling yourself at him, sobbing into his shoulder, shallow, frantic breaths a harsh symphony alongside Gabi’s own sobs.
“It’s alright, you’re safe, both of you. I’m here, I’ll always protect you, it’s over now.” He soothes, pressing a kiss to the crown of Gabi’s head, then yours.
“I was so scared, I didn’t know what to do, Miguel, I—I thought we were going to di—”
“No, never. I’ll always find you; I’ll always save you, both of you. You’re my girls, nothing is more precious than you two.” His voice is firm but gentle, even though he’s trembling too.
“Papá, I couldn’t do anything, my powers didn’t work.” Gabi sobs.
The three of you have been testing Gabi’s powers for a few weeks now, in between you and Miguel going on secret dates. She’s come a long way, and he’s proud of the progress she’s making, but he never wanted her to think she had to handle a supervillain on her own. Not now, she’s still a baby, his baby.
His heart is shattered, and he holds her tighter. “Oh mija, that’s okay, this was an adult mess not a kid mess, this wasn’t for you to handle.”
He didn’t lose her, she’s right here, his daughter is safe.
Your breathing finally begins to calm, but you keep your head buried in Miguel’s shoulder, your grip on him bone-crushingly tight, but he doesn’t mind.
“You kept her safe for me y/n, thank you.” He whispers.
You pull back slowly, wiping the tears from your face. “Miguel…I didn’t do anything, you saved us, you kept us safe.”
“You kept her safe y/n, you kept her as calm as possible for the situation. You did the best you could, and I’m proud of you.”
You beam at him, a watery, shaky smile, but a smile, nonetheless. “Thank you.”
“I don’t know what I’d do if I lost either of you.” He admits scanning the area before his mask disappears.
“I…I can’t imagine my life without you two, I know it sounds crazy but, I just can’t.” You breathe, your eyes locked on his, searching them for something.
“Marry me.” He says. It’s spontaneous, ridiculous, completely inappropriate, and you’re probably going to think he’s insane but—
“Yes, yes, yes, I’ll marry you.” You say, flinging your arms around his neck and crashing your lips to his.
He’s ecstatic, especially when Gabi begins to cheer, her tears instantly drying up.
“Yay! New mom! Ms. Y/N is my mom!” She cheers, wriggling between you and him.
He opens his arms wider and crushes you both to his chest. “I love you, both of you, more than—”
“Boss, hi, sorry, umm your ex-wife is at your apartment.” Lyla chimes in, a sour look on her face.
“¡Ay coño!” Trsl: Oh fuck

TO BE MIRROR AU [6]
Summary: Nexus attempted to kidnap Sun to get him to find the shards by threatening Dazzle and Jack. Moon is nowhere, idk, maybe sleep.
It was just a normal day…
Only the yellow animatronic stays in daycare to cleaning. Moon was busy in his laboratory, busy his head with everything from finding the whereabouts of Ruin and the Dark Sun's hideout, to studying the remnants of the Wither Storm.
Moon has been working hard for more than 12 hours. The overwhelming amount of work that his brother endures making Sun worried that Moon will fall back into his old habits, working until his battery is dried out.
Maybe after cleaning this place up, Sun should go back to the lab to check. He can get something for his brother to eat? At least, for now, this is what makes him feel like he can help in some way.
A loud sign coming out his mouth. The barrel was so shiny in Sun's hand that he could see himself on it.
He still couldn't understand how he could sense the shards of the Wither Storm, but he didn't look into the gift horse's mouth. Although... that was just a little concern in Sun's heart, why did he feel so attracted to those crystals? Why did he feel... so relief when he touched them?
Unlike Moon, who not only had a headache, but slept so soundly that it frightened Sun until the next day?
The sound of someone coming out of the ball pit rang out, startling Sun's train of thoughts.
The computer hasn't been fixed yet. There's so much work that needs to be done and Moon's AI creates is relatively complicated. So they have to do everything by hand by now, what is sometimes really inconvenient for Sun.
For example, he couldn't guess exactly who had entered this dimension.
A dark blue shadow appeared in the distance. A nightcap bobbed, revealing the tall, thin body of a lunar Daycare attendant. Star and moon shaped characters are embroidered on the shirt.
The shadow cast by the light caused Sun's optics to involuntarily shrink. He came closer, still holding the barrel towel in his hand.
“M–Moon?! I thought you would work until late?—”
The words coming out of Sun's mouth suddenly stopped. Sun's non-existent heart seemed to skip a beat when the stranger raised his face, revealing a bygone face that was only seen in Sun's old nightmares.
His eyes were red as blood, like two coals dipped in the burning fire. The smile was as curved as a crescent moon, white as bone, as marrow, as sickly white as the way a wild animal grins when hunting its prey. The long, slender body, bent in a way that physics could not explain, stretched out of the ball pit.
“H–Hello? Who are you?" Sun asked timidly, he silently scolded himself, why didn't he call Moon right now. It's not that he can't defend himself, because of magic, Moon still encourages him to practice day and night. But Sun didn't want things to go that far at all.
If possible, he just wanted them to leave or they could talk in peace.
That strange guest just twisted his body, his posture was too comfortable for someone who did not live here. Sun's internal chip doesn't understand why it keeps screaming, trying to emit a telegram of connection, feel like his subconscious is whispering something about there is something very familiar towards the stranger.
Could this be KC or another version of KC?
Sun never held out hope that KC was still alive. Their KC‌ was dead, broken into pieces in Bloodmoon's hands. But something about the stranger made Sun unconsciously take a few steps forward.
They laughed, a hoarse, dry, ugly laugh like the sound of a knife carving into flesh.
“No… Take another guess.”
Sun didn't know it was possible to shatter someone's reality with just one sentence.
In the colorful colors of daycare, Moon-Nexus stood there calmly, with a smile that didn't reach the corners of his eyes.
New clothes, new body, will any of that still can Sun call them his brother? When they at that time had hurt their own sister without any remorse, and now in those lifeless eyes, only the bloody brutality and indifference of the scientist towards his specimen were visible?
Nexus looks happy. Dangerously happy. They approached Sun, letting out a greeting as if nothing had happened, as if Nexus hadn't torn his own family in half.
“Hey, Sun… Long time no see.”
The two images melt into each other. One is the concerned eyes of a version of Moon he has learned to love and trust, the other is of a stranger that Sun doesn't recognize anymore.
Sun should run. He should scream and let any of Moon's defenses activate, but he couldn't. His throat was stiff, his mouth dry. He couldn't stop shaking, his freezing reflex made his joints immobile.
“What's wrong, Sun, aren't you happy to see your brother again?”
Nexus tilted its head, its neck as long as an owl's, the deformity that Nexus had intentionally inflicted on itself was like a punch to Sun's stomach.
‘What happened to you, Nexus?’
“I can guess this can happen.” M-Nexus shrugged, and they moved closer leisurely, ignoring Sun's momentary flinch.
"You already have your Old Moon back, how can you miss this Moon, am I right, Sun?"
He wants to say...
‘We have missed you. We still missed you. Earth couldn't look at Moon's face without crying silently afterward. Even though Lunar didn't say anything, I still knew that the boy hid your photo in the room. I miss you, I miss you so much.
But you don't know that, do you?
Only cares about what you want, and always jumps to these places whereI can't keep up with.
And now you throw it all away to pursue a self-destructive obsession that you think we want, when what we need is for you to be happy with us.'
He wanted to say many things, but his mouth could only make pitiful stuttering sounds. His hand wanted to reach out, a faint glimmer of hope that Nexus felt remorseful and wanted to return to his family.
But the cruel mind only laughed at Sun's weak heart, mocking him about how dangerous the Nexus looked.
'Even an idiot like you can understand why he came here, right, Sun~~' The sound of Sun's thoughts was too close to Eclipse's disdainful and even tone, making Sun unconsciously frown.
“How is the new house btw? I heard that beast say you have moved. Do you live well in there? Not that I care—”
Sun wanted to refute. He wanted to grab Nexus tightly and ask if they didn't care, then why did they deliberately bring up the old story? He wanted to cry and hug Nexus tightly, to beg Nexus to return to Sun, Earth and Lunar. He also wanted to punch his other brother, to let them know how stupid the thing they did was, how much it hurt the people who loved them.
But nothing can come out except the bitterness.
“Oh come on, no need to look so tensed like that.”
Close, too close, Nexus was approaching Sun without him realizing it. The shadow of Nexus fell on Sun, their voice was gentle, so gentle and considerate, like that was still the person he called his brother.
The sound of bells rang in Sun's ears. A red shadow flashed across Sun's eyes, and the ribbon on Nexus's wrist fell onto his shirt.
“I said I wouldn't hurt you, didn't I?”
The distance between them was only an inch apart, and the tip of Nexus' nightcap accidentally touched Sun's rays. Nexus's hand was clasped in his, the grip soft but firm, just like the way they used to do whenever Sun had a panic attack.
It really made Sun soften, and let his guard down for a split second.
Enough for a sick smile to flash across Nexus's lips. A wave of pain erupted in Sun's arm, Nexus's hands gripped Sun's hand tightly, their sharp nails digging into his metal shell.
“Well… I guess I lied.”
The pain caused Sun to pull away and stagger backwards. He panted, the rays of light converging with Sun's breathing. Nexus' sadistic chuckle was almost unreal, as if this were just a normal gaming session between the two of them, rather than looking like Nexus was ready to hurt Sun.
Sun shouldn't be surprised, because after all, Nexus has always hated him. This person's care is purely a order, a purpose that Moon has placed like a chain on this newly reset Moon's neck.
Sun knows Nexus always hates him for being alive, for the one who dead is Solar.
“W–Why are you here, M–Nexus?”
Try to squeeze out each word. Ignoring the pain in his wrist, Sun wished he wasn't trembling, so pathetic for someone who hadn't even done anything to him.
“You know why.” Nexus retracted his hand, his red eyes looked straight at Sun, a look so determined that it scared Sun.
"No I dont." Sun gritted his teeth, both of his fists clenched. There was an anger that came out of nowhere in his chest like a flood, making his vision red and Sun didn't know what he wanted to do next.
“A little bird told me about a dream you had.”
“…”
Breath escaped from Sun's mouth. His joints convulsed, and Sun's entire operating system continuously crashed into each other with errors and loops.
“I want you to come with me, Sun.”
“From now on we will do everything together Sun… I will not leave you…”
Two voices collided. One from the present and one from the past. The protective concern that once existed in that voice now turned into mockery. Nexus looked at him like a curious child looking at a sick cat that was about to die. They had no intention of doing anything, just watching with interest to see where this was going.
***Flashback
Sun never understood Moon's laboratory preferences. Too white, too clean, everywhere is sterile white. There is a coldness and crampedness that clings to this place, even if there are more green trees. can cover up its emptiness.
Moon stood in front of the board, his shadow was too high, beyond Sun's sight. Moon's hand awkwardly touched the edge of the table, her face serious. There was only the clicking sound of the radiator running, and the gurgling sound of running water, as if time had stopped a long time ago and was working again, as heavy as a nail stuck in the wall.
Reflections of surrounding objects flashed on the Sun's gilded shell. A cup of steaming hot tea was placed in front of him.
“Hey Sun… I need you to think about this…” Moon's voice is gentle and careful, as if he was speaking to a child. “If what Dark Sun said is true, then Nexus is also searching for the fragments…”
“That means… he might come to you…”
“I'm not telling you to decide now… but for your own good and I don't want you to get hurt…”
“Can you tell me you are willing to attack the Nexus if push comes to shove?”)
***
There was heavy pressure and tension between the two. It felt like there was invisible sweat dripping down the back of Sun's shirt.
Nexus is taller than him, stronger than him, both physically and intellectually. If he wanted, he could take advantage of Sun being caught off guard and take Sun away at any time. But here, right now, Nexus made Sun an offer.
To go with him voluntarily.
Why?" Sun lowered his voice. His hands were hidden behind his back, ready for any movement by Nexus to trigger him to activate his magic. Every sensor in his body was screaming at him to attack, or run away, but for some stubborn reason, he continued to wait for Nexus's answer.
Listening to Moon was an inherent rigid habit, making him no matter how angry or disappointed he was, the first person to lay down his cards was still Nexus.
“Sun, you know what's funny? It had taken me months of manual labor to find the fragments of the Wither Storm, while the answer was right before my eyes."
"It's you. Sun."
"Yes, I was surprised too. Who would have thought that little Sunny would have this ability? How many pieces have you and that bastard found? Where did you hide it?"
“And why should I tell you?”
Red eyes glared at Sun maliciously, so evil that it would make his former self burst into tears.
“Because I will not go easy on you anymore if you keep stubborn like that.”
(Duck honk honk sound sound)
A flash of light erupted, right next to Nexus's feet smoking remains of a fireball. For the first time since him show up, Nexus's eyes opened wide to look at him in surprise.
Their approaching feet stopped, they looked intently at the fire burning the carpet next to them. A few balls couldn't stand the luck, half melting and emitting an unpleasant smell of burning synthetic resin.
“I won't go with you, Nexus.” Sun spoke harshly. His hand twitched. A sick feeling went deep into Sun's stomach, making him want to vomit. "Quite the opposite, I like to stay here."
Sun had never, ever directly pointed a weapon at his family like that, and the thought of hurting someone... even if it was Nexus, it made Sun's whole body tremble.
Bitter bile seeped into Sun's throat. A dirty feeling that couldn't be washed away flowed through him. It was like a rope was wrapped around Sun's throat, making him writhe in pain.
Sun couldn't breathe.
What is he doing?
Satisfied giggles rang out.
“Oh?” Nexus hummed. “You shot me.”
“You shot your brother.”
‘And yet you always try to act like you're better than me.’ The meaning behind Nexus's words.
Say it casually as if it were a fact. Say it smugly as if they knew this was going to happen.
Red appeared in Sun's eyes. Red. Red like the blood flowing on Evelyn's head, red like the color of Nexus's eyes, red like the dirt on Sun's hands, which can never be washed off.
The giggle of a certain red devil rang in Sun's ears, causing Sun's snow-white pupils to shrink. No… Just an hallucinations. He took a deep breath, avoiding the immediately understanding look from Nexus.
“Don't take another step, because the next shot will be real.” Sun took a deep breath, trying to speak without trembling. Magical colors like a kaleidoscope glowed in Sun's hands. His fan seemed to be overloaded, every part of Sun's body seemed to fall apart. “I suggest you to leave, Nexus. Or else…"
“Or else you will kill me, right?”
Sun was about to say he would expel Nexus, but Nexus' answer left him stunned.
What percentage of his magic would succeed, and what percentage would it fail like the other things Sun had attempted.
A painful chuckle echoed in Nexus's mouth, close to the edge of madness. There was a bitter feeling in it, and it made Sun feel endlessly guilty.
“So little Sunny finally grew a spine. It's sad that it took two Moons for that to happen.”
“When did you learn magic? I remember you were so insistent that you didn't want to touch that supernatural thing at all."
“Is it because of Moon?” Nexus' eyes narrowed. Sun's silence seemed to confirm Nexus's guess. “I'm never really good enough, am I?” They scoffed. “As soon as I left, you replaced me with that monster version, and running after him like an off-leash pet.”
It's hurt. Hearing that from someone who was also his brother hurt so much. But it cannot be more painful than the feeling of betrayal that Earth has experienced.
“Are you done yet?” Sun was tired, he knew Nexus was trying to insult him, that any reaction from Sun would only give Nexus an advantage.
But he is very tired.
Part of Sun wanted to give up, let Nexus take him away. It's better to surrender to reduce the pain than to resist and the result will still be the same. But the other part in Sun, the one had to restrain Moon, Eclipse, and whoever was in his head from trying to control give Nexus a middle finger.
Sun cannot give up, not when he has Earth, Lunar, Moon... and the destructive potential of the Wither Storm and whatever plans Nexus wants to try for the world.
Strangely, the fleeting thought of death was so light compared to what was before Sun.
“Nah— Youunderstand me, Sun. I will never go without what I want.” Nexus chuckled, his finger pointing at Sun.
Daycare still plays the cheerful, annoying music as if nothing had happened. A feeling of deja vu made Sun's heart sink deeper, as a shot was fired right in the area where he and Nexus were standing right now.
“So, if Sunny boy really wants to leave, you have to be the one to do it first—.‌”
The gears in Sun's chest stopped turning once. A smile spread across Nexus's lips, his arms spread wide. Their eyes were closed, they looked completely at peace.
“Shoot Sun. Break me, destroy me into pieces.‌ If you have the guts, do so, so I can't cause any more harm to your familym”
Sun wants to say Nexus was also his family, Nexus is still his brother.
“But remember, I'm only giving you this first shot for free.”
Another image placed on Nexus. Blue separates into orange and red.
‘See you in hell, Sun.’ A tired, bitter smile, angry eyes, unwilling to give up even in death.
'Cowardice. Useless. Without Moon you are nothing—' The impostor wore Moon's face, provoking him with evil words.
“So, let's give me your best shot.”
Five-colored light flashed brightly in Sun's hand. Shoot. Don't Shoot. Just let go. Just relax. Whether it was Eclipse's whisper or Bloodmoon's, he no longer knew.
It's easy, very simple, especially when he is in charge.
Just release it.
You can do it, Sun.
‘You are my older brother, Sun. I care about you.'
Nexus's face appeared, full of concern and understanding.
The magical light grew louder and louder, before completely extinguishing in Sun's hands. Standing there stiffly, the hand still couldn't be lowered. Sun can't, he can't attack M–Nexus.
‘What a coward, Sun.’
“It's not that I didn't expect it, but it's also disappointing.
Nexus walked around Sun, his neck sticking out excitedly like a vulture hunting its prey. Touching Sun's spell-casting arm, they suddenly lifted Sun up.
“–!!?”
Sun screamed in confusion into the air, and in a moment that was probably only a few seconds, he was thrown hard to the ground. His metal skeleton groaned in pain, warning triangles flashed, causing his optics to turn yellow.
Maybe something broke. Suddenly, there was a soft falling sound of something hitting Sun's head. He groaned and picked it up, his sensors classifying it as a toy.
What is this?
A worn sun doll blinked back at Sun. A cold feeling reached the heart of Sun's non-existence, algorithms 0 and 1 jumped like locusts, howling in a vortex of indignation.
“Yeah… If I was you, I would have watched my baby deer better.”
Nexus's voice rang in Sun's ears as if it were annoying, the bell rang with every step they took. “By the way, the new outfit is nice, it would be a shame if it were damaged, right, Sun?"
“W–Where is Dazzle???” Sun's voice trembled. He held the doll tightly with him, clumsily stood up and rushed to grab Nexus' shirt. “Nexus, WHERE IS DAZZLE!!!?”
Not paying attention to Sun's violent attitude, Nexus just touched his fingertips. An immature sound rang out.
“H–Hello? Hey Sun!!!”
“DAZZLE!! DAZZLE!!! WHERE ARE YOU? ARE YOU HURT?!!!” Sun desperately clung to the receiver.
“No-o?? I'm playing with Jack. We're going on an adventure! Oh, Jack said we have to keep it a secret now…”
“Jack? Dazzle, you tell me where you are?! Please Dazzle–”
Nexus turned off the mic before Sun could finish speaking. “You know, I forgot when Solar and I created Jack, we, actually, it was Solar's idea, to put a backup code inside, in case anyone hacked Jack's code. Then, the administrator rights will still belong to Solar.
And even though that idiot Monty changed quite a few things for that traitor, the original settings are still the same.”
Sun looked up at Nexus, they smiled cheekily. Horrible smile, full of teeth.
“You don't want both Jack and Dazzle to become Lunar. 2.0 isn't it, Sun?

Y/N feels trapped with a baby on the way and Jack distances himself to think
18 Plus Only - Adult Themes and Content
Nobody knew you were pregnant yet. You asked Jack to wait to even tell his family as it had just passed 3months and you didn’t want to jinx it. He was being super paranoid not letting you do anything, and barely go anywhere. He was hyper about germs and the cleaning lady had to be extra careful about how she disinfected every surface.
“Baby come on wash your fucking hands” Jack said one day exasperated and whipping out wipes to wipe your fingers like a child.
“Jack I can lick my fingers I’m at home.” You shot back with your mouth full of popcorn. “Hey when are we going out tonight?” You asked casually assuming you would be going to The Hub with your fiancée and asking to see what time you should get ready. Pregnancy was already making you more tired than usual and you wanted to take a nap before you left.
“Uhh WE?” Jack asked you back
“Yes. When are we leaving?” You repeated
“Baby.” Jack said calmly and sat down looking you in the eye “You won’t be going.”
“What??” You fumed “What the fu…” you firmly clamped your mouth as Jack was trying to not swear around the future baby.
He shot you a disapproving glance. “Please babe, stay home from now on k? Can’t have you in the mix anymore.” Jack explained and thought that would be that with a kiss on your forehead.
“Oh the fuck I’m not going. I’m not sitting home pregnant while you go out and girls seeing you ALONE?? Are you mental?” You raged.
“You don’t go on tour with me and I behave” Jack said to his credit. “You trust me I know you do. You just want to party.”
“No…um not true.” You said as he caught you in your true motives. You loved being out and hanging with everyone. “C’mon baby…Pleaaaassee” You begged flashing your megawatt smile and fluttering your eyelashes.
“That ain’t gone work.” Jack said sternly
“What about this.” You said going down on your knees and starting to pull down his sweatpants.
“Ok baby stop. You’d suck dick to get to go?” Jack said laughing.
“I’m going to be trapped for months after the baby is born.” You said pouting to which Jack finally relented.
“Ok mama you can go.” He said “But I’ll take a rain check on that sloppy toppy, I got some stuff to do before we leave.”
You took a nap and woke up around 6PM to get ready to go. Excitedly you texted your friends Jack actually said yes. You were only slightly showing with a hint of a bump. Most people had no idea you were pregnant, and you weren’t a heavy drinker so the fact that you turned down alcohol the last few weeks didn’t raise any eyebrows either. Urban knew and a couple of Jack’s friends who did security for him when he went out. This was to ensure you had extra protection.
You put your hair up in a ponytail with a longer extension for fun and put on a jumpsuit that wasn’t too tight to give the secret away. To go to the Hub you didn’t have to dress up. Jack thought you looked adorable which got him going even more than you looking ultra sexy.
“Mmmm” he said looking you up and down and pulling you close. “Can I jump in your jumper with you?”
“You passed on a blow job remember?” You reminded him as he kissed you.
Just then your driver and security buzzed up, it was time to go have fun one last time.
The energy of the club is what you needed. You dodged Jack and his friends successfully until the club started getting full. Jack sent Timo to hunt you down and bring you to where he was heading to behind “the wall”. “The wall” was the literal wall Jack’s friends formed in front of him when he went out to clubs so no random people could get too close to him.
Unfortunately for you who had just been convinced by your friends (who didn’t know you were 3 mos pregnant) to dance on the bar and you took the challenge, not because you were drunk but because you just wanted one last crazy thing to do.
“Whooo!! Go Y/N!!” They encouraged you as you twerked a little sticking your tongue out with plans to come down right away but Timo caught you and Jack spotted you texting Timo furiously “BRO TELL HER TO GET DAFUQ DOWN!” Jack texted in all angry caps.
You were in the process of coming down when you met Timo face to face as you touched the ground with his help. “Y/N! You are in trouble young lady.” He said sternly “Come with me.” He said taking you by the arm and whisking you off to where Jack was waiting beet red. You looked back at your friends who felt guilty for egging you on.
“Don’t” Jack said turning his head away as you went up on your tipi toes for a kiss. “I can’t even talk to you right now.”
“It’s called having fun old man.” You snapped “ I went up there on a dare for 2 mins”
“Can you act like a mother for 2 fucking seconds?” Jack angrily whispered. People nearby were trying to hear what was going on but fortunately the thundering bass drowned him out.
“Maybe I would act more like a mom if I wasn’t trapped!” You shot back hurting Jack deeply. All he had been doing was protecting you. He said nothing in return and sipped on his water to calm down. He reasoned you were being emotional given you were pregnant.
“Ok fine. 2 can play this ignoring game.” You said to him to which he pretended not to hear knowing it drove you nuts.
“Ok girly let’s go to the bathroom.” Urban’s girlfriend said taking you away to talk about what was going on with you. It was not like you to be so irresponsible. For once she agreed with Jack. “What’s going on mama?” Azura said kindly hugging you.
“He tells me what to do CONSTANTLY!” You said bursting into tears.
“He does always tell you what to do. Jack is like a stern father, I don’t know how you stand it.” Azura said trying to influence you to jump to Jack’s defence. Her and Urban had just got back together and she didn’t want to see you go through fighting with Jack while pregnant.
“Jack is not a stick in the mud” You said in his defence which Azura knew you would. “He is just trying to…oh I see what you’re doing. Nice one, making me realize my man just wants the best for me and his baby and maybe dancing on a bar is a bad idea.”
“Bingo!! You catch on quick” Azura said sarcastically making you laugh.
“Ok girl let me go apologize to my man.” You said feeling horrible for how you had spoken to Jack.
He was vibing in a corner not talking to anyone. The way you had acted had him down. He had fulfilled his obligation to appear at the club so he was just waiting for you to get out of the bathroom so the both of you could go home. He should have stuck to his guns and made you stay back. Now gossip blogs were going to be reporting about your 5 secs dancing on the bar and the obvious argument the two of you had. When they did the math months later and found out you were pregnant when you were up there, it’s going to be a mini-disaster.
“Ready? We’re leaving early, I have an early morning.” Jack lied.
“Baby…Jackman” You said reaching up to turn his sulking face to yours “I will never do anything like that again. I love you”
“Babe…no come on” He said avoiding your kiss as you reached around his neck to pull him down to you. He was really irritated and sad. It took you by surprise that you couldn’t work your magic and smooth it over. Urban and Azura exchanged concerned glances as you and Jack made your exit.
He was silent all the way home which thankfully wasn’t far from the condo. It was so awkward. When you got back you didn’t push him to talk to you and got ready for bed. Usually by now you guys would be joking again already. Jack didn’t come to bed with you. He sat in his studio room listening to a beat on loop with a pen and pad out. You tossed and turned while you heard the muffled beat through the bedroom walls. When you tipi toed into the studio you found him laying on the floor staring at the ceiling like he often did when he felt depression setting in. There was a whole bunch of scrunched up balls of paper that he had missed the waste paper basket with.
You said nothing and laid down on the floor in the same position next to him. At first he didn’t notice you and then glanced over but maintained his silence. You took a chance and reached out to hold his hand. He took it slowly and held it gently giving you a sense of relief. “Nice beat.” You said quietly
“Thanks. Clay made it.” He said expressionless
“Writer’s block?” You asked referencing all the crumpled up paper on the floor.
“Um sort of” He said turning to you propped up on his elbow “Do you believe in destiny baby?”
“To a degree. I’m not sure.” You said honestly turning to him. “Why?”
“I dreamt you and then I met you.” He said with a whimsical smile taking you by surprise and giving you tingles. “And now you have a part of me inside of you. We’re bonded forever now. Do you understand that means everything to me?”
“Not until now. I…I have felt trapped and sometimes…replaceable.” You said blinking to hold back tears coming.
“I could never do better than you.” Jack said moving closer and kissing you passionately. “Will you just trust that I always mean to do right by you?”
“Yes Jack I will.” You nodded as tears started to fall down your cheeks and he wiped them.
“I will always be here for this moment and wipe every tear as it falls.” He vowed in a near whisper. That’s it!! He said suddenly making you jump. “That’s the song! I’m unstuck! Thank you baby.” Jack said kissing you roughly on the head and leaping up to grab his pen and pad.
“Happy to help.” You said sarcastically “Don’t stay up too late.” You said yawning and heading to bed.
“Oh I’m coming to get some don’t worry” he said looking at your ass in your pyjama pants as you walked away.

Season 1, Episode 8 - Bugs
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
Third Person POV
Currently outside of a bar in Oklahoma. Sam is sitting on the bonnet of the Impala reading the news paper. The title, "Local Death a Medical Mystery". Whilst Y/N is on the car next to him, smoking a cigarette. Dean exits the bar laughing, holding up a wad of cash having just won it from hustling pool.
Sam and Y/N look over, Sam shakes his head and says "You know, we could get day jobs once in a while" He suggests. "Huntings our day job. And the pay is crap" Y/N snorts, taking a drag from her cigarette. "You're preaching to the choir girl but hustling pool? Credit card scams? It's not the most honest thing in the world guys" Sam says disapprovingly.
"Well, let's see" Dean starts, putting up his hands out to weigh the options. "Honest....fun and easy. It's no contest" He says sarcastically and Sam rolls his eyes chuckling. "Besides, we're good at it. It's what we were raised to do" Dean says. "Yeah, well, how we were raised was jacked" Y/N says ironically chuckling, dusting the ash from her bud on the ground.
"Right on man" Sam agrees, putting his hand up for a high-five, which she returns. "Yeah, says you two" Dean mutters counting the money, "We got a new gig or what?" Dean asks his brother. "Maybe" He says getting up from the impala and walks around to show Dean the papers as Y/N flicks her now burnt out cigarette to the side as Sam explains.
"Oasis Plains, Oklahoma. Not too far from here. A gas company employee. Dustin Burwash supposedly died from Creutzfeldt-Jakob." Sam says. "Huh?" Dean asks confused. "Human mad cow disease" Y/N indicates, getting up from the Impala herself and dusting her hands off.
"Mad cow...wasn't that in Oprah?" Dean asks. "You watch Oprah?" Sam asks him surprised and Dean looks down guiltily while Y/N laughs. "You get a car....and you get a car!" She exclaims, pointing to the air. "Everybody gets a carrr!" Sam adds, belting out in laughter as Dean grumbles embarrassed.
A grin slowly overtook his face when he looked at Y/N bubbling in a fit of laughter. Even if it was at him, she still looked damn cute smiling. "So this guy eats a bad burger. Why is it our kind of thing?" He goes back to the topic and they sober up from their laughing.
"Really though. Mad cow disease causes massive brain degeneration. It takes months, even years for the damage to appear. So how would it be our thing?" Y/N says, wiping some tears out of her eyes from her laughing. "This guy Dustin, sounds like his brain disintegrated in about an hour. Maybe less" Sam says.
"Okay, that's weird" Dean agrees and Y/N nods. "Yeah. Now it could be a disease. Or it could be something much nastier." Sam says. "Alright. Oklahoma!" Dean exclaims enthusiastically, going to the side of baby. "Man. Work work work. No time to spend my money" Dean says jokingly as he jumps in, while Sam and Y/N file in behind.
________________________________
Now outside of the Oklahoma Gas & Powell Co., the trio get out of Impala and approach a man. "Travis Weaver?" Sam asks the man. "Yeah, that's right" Travis confirms. "Are you the Travis who worked with Uncle Dusty?" Y/N asks sweetly. "Dustin never mentioned any nieces or nephews" Travis says suspiciously.
"This is actually my girlfriend" Dean pipes up, wrapping his arm around Y/N's shoulder, putting her closer. She cocks her eyebrows at him confused and he gives her a look that says 'follow my lead'. She smiles nodding, wrapping her arm around his side while Sam looks at the two of them with a slight smirk on his face.
"Well he sure mentioned you. He said you were the greatest" Y/N casually lies. "Oh, he did?" Travis smiles brightly. "Listen, we wanted to ask you, what exactly happened out there?" Dean asks. "I'm not sure. He fell in a sinkhole. I went to the truck to get some rope..and uh...by time I got back...." Travis explains, trailing off.
"What'd you see?" Y/N asks calmly. "Nothing. Just Dustin" Travis sighs, shaking his head. "No wounds or anything?" Sam asks. "Well, he was bleeding from his eyes and his ears, his nose. That's it" Travis says, partially disgusted. "So you think it could be this whole mad cow thing?" Dean asks.
"I don't know. That's what the doctors are saying" Travis shrugs. "But if it was, he would've acted strange beforehand like dementia, loss of motor control. You ever notice anything like that?" Sam asks and Travis shakes his head.
"Nah. No way. But then again if it wasn't some disease, what the hell was it?" He questions. "That's a good question" Dean says. "Can you tell us where this happened?" Y/N asks. "Yeah" Travis says and gives them the location.
________________________________
Sometime later they drive through the newly developing neighborhood, Oasis Plains Estates, where Dustin Burwash died mysteriously. Pulling up infront of the house where he fell in the sinkhole, they exit and walk towards it.
"Huh, what do you guys think?" Dean asks them as they approach the scene, the sink hole surrounded by caution tape. "I don't know, but if Travis was right, it happened pretty damn fast" Sam says as they dunk under the tape to get a closer look.
"So, what, some sort of creature chewed on his brain?" Dean asks, flashing his light into the whole and Y/N shakes her head. "No, there'd be an entry wound. Sounds like this thing worked from the inside" She states and they all stoop, peering at the hole which isn't too wide. "Looks like there's only room for one" Dean says, turning his light off and dunking back under the tape, away from the hole.
"You guys wanna flip a coin?" Dean asks, grabbing a rope to anchor them. "Dean, we have no idea what's down there" Sam says, looking over at him. "Alright, I'll go if you two are scared" Dean says. "Scared?" He adds teasingly and Y/N rolls her eyes. "Flip the damn coin" Sam says and Dean chuckles.
"Alright, call it in the air, chickens" Dean says and Sam catches the coin midair. "I'm going." Sam says determined. "I said I'd go" Dean says with a slight smirk on his face. "Oh for the love of god. I'll go!" She huffs, tired of their bickering. She grabs the rope and ties it around her waist. "You sure?" Dean asks concerned. "I'll be fine. Just don't drop me" She warns him. "Wouldn't dream of it" Dean smiles.
________________________________
After searching the sinkhole, Y/N found some dead beetles in the hole. Her and Sam are examining them while Dean drives. "So you found some beetles. In a hole in the ground. That's shocking, y/n/n" Dean says dryly, sarcasm dripping from his tone and she rolls her eyes. "She said there were no tunnels, no tracks. No evidence of any other kind of creature down there" Sam defends.
"You know, some beetles do eat meat. Usually it's dead meat but-" She explains but Dean cuts her off. "How many did you find down there?" He asks. "Ten" She answers. "It'd take a whole lot more than that to eat out some dudes brain" Dean says. "Well maybe there were more" Sam suggests.
"I don't know. Sounds like a stretch to me" Dean denies. "Well, we need more information on the area, the neighborhood. Whether something like this has ever happened before.." Y/N says and they notice Dean looking at a house decorated with balloons and a sign outside. "What?" Sam and Y/N ask in unison.
"I know a good place to start. I'm kinda hungry for a little barbecue, how bout you guys?" Dean says suggestively while Sam and Y/N look at him disapprovingly. "What? We can't talk to the locals?" Dean says feigning innocence. "And the free foods got nothing to do with it?" Y/N says dryly.
"Course not. I'm a professional" Dean denies failing to convince them. "Right" Sam remarks in the same tone as Y/N, flashing Dean his classic bitchface. "Ah whatever. I could eat" Y/N leans back as Dean pulls into an empty parking space in-front of the house hosting the barbecue.
"Atta girl" He smirks at her through the rearview mirror. Not missing the little blush overtaking her cheeks that she's trying to hide by looking out the window. Y/N bites her lips to stop the heat from rising in her face, hating the fact that a simple praise like that from Dean could make her heat up like a baked potato.
He smiles at her before they all exit the vehicle and walk up towards the house. Her heart jumps everytime he says that and she can't pinpoint why. Dean takes in the surroundings, feeling a bit uneasy. "Growing up in a place like this would freak me out" Dean says. "Why?" Y/N asks confused.
"The manicured lawns. 'How was your day, honey?'. I'd blow my brains out" Dean exaggerates. "There's nothing wrong with normal" Sam defends. "I'd take our families over normal anyday" Dean scoffs. "It doesn't seem that bad" Y/N shrugs and Dean looks at her surprised.
"You'd want this whole picket fence stuff?" He asks. "With the right person" She says honestly and he hides his little smile at the thought of Y/N in a minivan. "Nutcase" He snorts. "Asshat" She retorts, narrowing her eyes at him while Sam snickers.
Y/N couldn't help but wonder how it would be like to live a normal apple pie life. If she, Sam and Dean grew up together in Kansas rather than on the road. If their moms were still alive. Would they even be as close as they are right now? Would she be in school? What would she do as a career?
She's always loved music, her dad bought her a guitar for her 13th birthday, granted she hasn't played in a while but she knew if she picked up where she left off, she'd be fine.
Y/N knocks on the door and a middle aged man dressed formally answers. "Welcome" He says with a pleasant smile. "Is this the barbecue?" Dean smiles asking. "Yeah. Not the best weather but...I'm Larry Pike, the developer here" Larry introduces himself, putting his hand out to shake Deans, which he accepts.
"And you are...?" He asks. "Dean. This is Sam and Y/N" Dean answers, introducing the group as Larry takes Sam and Y/N's hands, shaking it. "Sam, Dean, Y/N. Good to meet you. So you three are interested in Oasis Plains?" He asks pleasantly as they nod and smile. "Yes, sir" Y/N says sweetly.
"Let me just say, we accept homeowners of any race, religion, color or...sexual orientation" Larry says and then Y/N realizes what he's getting at. Sam chuckles at this and Deans face drops. "They're brothers" Y/N clarifies holding back a laugh while Larry looks a bit embarrassed. "Yeah, we're actually the happy couple" Dean says, wrapping his arm around Y/N's shoulder, pulling her closer.
She smiles, going along with it and wraps her arm around his waist. Her heart starts beating quickly when his hands trail down her sides to the small of her back. "Sam is just here for the ride" She says clearing her throat. "Darn I apologize but great. Great. Come on in" Larry apologizes, welcoming them in.
Y/N lets go of Dean and walks in first, he slightly groans at the loss of contact but follows behind in. They all make way to the back yard. "You said you were the developer?" Sam asks Larry as they walk into the backyard, filled with people chatting, eating. The works at the barbecue.
"Eighteen months ago, I was walking this valley with my survey team. There was nothing here but scrub brush and squirrels" Larry begins to explain. "And you know what, we built such a nice place to live that I actually bought into it myself. This is our house" Larry gestures to the decorated backyard.
"We're the first family in Oasis Plains. This is my wife, Joanie" He introduces a middle ahead woman, who puts her hand out to shake Y/N. "Hi there" She says pleasantly. "Hi" Y/N says sweetly taking her hand and shaking it. She then shakes Sam and Deans hands. "Hi nice to meet you" She smiles at them.
"Sam, Dean and Y/N" Larry introduces the trio. "Sam" Sam says as he shakes Joanie's hand. "Pleasure" She says back. "Tell them how much you love the place, honey. And lie if you have to because I need to sell some houses." Larry jokes with his wife who smiles nodding. While the trio laughs.
"Boys and girl, if you'll excuse me" Larry politely excused himself before going back to greeting guests. "Don't let his salesman routine scare you. This really is a great place to live" Joanie reassures them. "Hi, I'm Lynda Bloome, head of sales" A brunette woman dressed in office attire introduces herself.
"Lynda was second to move in" Joanie says. "She's a very noisy neighbor though" She jokes before walking off and Lynda laughs, the trio chuckle at the response. "She's kidding, of course" Lynda assures them. "I take it you three are interested in becoming homeowners" Lynda smiles.
"Well- " Dean stutters. "Y-yeah, well-" Sam also stutters. "Well, let me just say, that we accept homeowners of any race, religion, color or...sexual orientation" Lynda says smiling, this time Sam's face drops and Dean chuckles. Y/N doesn't hide her laugh this round.
"Right. I'm gonna go talk to Larry. Okay honeys" Y/N says cheekily before smacking Sam and Deans asses firmly, giving them each a squeeze before sauntering away and swaying her hips. Dean looks at her stunned while Sam awkwardly clears his throat.
Y/N looks back to catch Dean staring and flashes him a quick wink. Deans heart leaps at the way she walks, swaying her hips. Not to mention the wink, he could've melted right there. Which made him wonder, did he have feelings for her? Sure, she's hot.
God she's beautiful but even if he did have feelings for her, she couldn't possibly feel the same way. He chooses to suppress them rather than bring them to light and screwup his friendship with her.
________________________________
"You got three choices: Carpet, Hardwood and Tile" Larry lists the options of flooring to Y/N as the walk down the stairs of his house. She notices a jar with some insects next to the lamp and vase at the bottom of the stairs onto of a table.
"Woah. Someone likes bugs" She jokes. "My son. He's into insects. He's very inquisitive" Larry says trying to sound enthusiastic but Y/N can sense the disapproval in his tone. "Hmm" She says before going back to the tour.
Meanwhile outside Sam and Dean are getting an earful about the house by Lynda. "Who can say no to a steam shower? I use mine everyday" Lynda says and Deans eyebrows quirk up at this. "Sounds great" Sam forces a smile but seems uninterested.
"Honestly I could do with a steam shower" Dean chuckles awkwardly making Sam side eye him. Sam notices near Lynda's hand that's resting in the picnic table next to her as she speaks, a spider is slowing crawling up to it. He nudges Dean who was checking out a blonde mom that was passing by, indicating him about the tarantula.
Deans face drops and he causally but abruptly ends the conversation, "Excuse me" He says with a tight smile, putting his hand on Lynda's shoulder "Uh okay" Lynda says awkwardly before walking away. Sam leans down on the table and scoops the spider up into his hand gently.
Dean remembers seeing a boy laughing when the spider was crawling up to Lynda's hand and points towards him. Sam nods and they make way towards the boy. "Is this yours?" Sam asks and the boy's face drops. "You gonna tell my dad?" The boy asks, taking his spider back from Sam's hand.
"I don't know. Who's your dad?" Dean asks a bit roughly and the boy chuckles ironically. "Yeah. Larry usually skips me in the family introductions" The boy says a bit irritated. "Ouch. The first name basis with the old man sounds pretty grim" Sam exclaims surprised.
"Well, I'm not exactly brochure material" The boy says, petting his spider. "You're preaching to the choir brother" Dean snorts. "Well, hang in there alright, it gets better" Sam assures the young boy. "When?" he asks. "Matthew" They hear Larry call out harshly.
Y/N is behind him, walking back to the group with a slightly confused look on her face. While Larry has a stern look on his. "I am so sorry about my son and his pet" Larry apologizes to them, putting emphasis on the for pet. "It's no bother" Sam assured him. "Excuse us" He excuses them and pulls Matthew to the house by his arm.
Y/N looks back at the father and son before walking towards the boys. "Remind you of somebody?" Sam asks Dean who looks at Larry lecturing Matthew rather harshly. He looks back at Sam confused. "Dad?" Sam adds. "Dad never treated us like that" Dean scoffs.
"Well, Dad never treated you like that. You were perfect. He was all over my case" Sam says and Dean doesn't answer. "You don't remember?" Sam asks a bit amused. "Maybe he had to raise his voice but sometimes you were out of line" Dean defends and Sam laughs but there's no humor in it.
"Right. Like when I said I'd rather play soccer than learn bow hunting" Sam says dryly. "Bowhunting is an important skill" Dean says matter of factly. "Okay let's not get into this now fellas. Don't make a scene" Y/N chimes in warningly after seeing the look of disbelief on Sam's face. She nods at him reassuringly and he smiles sadly.
She understands how difficult Sam's relationship was with his dad and he knew she could relate. They always had each other to lean on whenever shit hits the fan and they need to talk about their dads.
"Yeah. How was your tour?" Sam asks, smiling tightly. "Oh, it was excellent. I'm ready to buy" She says jokingly and the boys chuckle. "I think we're onto something. Looks like Dustin Burwash wasn't the first strange death here" Y/N informs them. "What happened?" Dean asks.
"About a year ago before they broke ground one of Larry's surveyors dropped dead on the while on the job" Y/N explains, looking back at Larry who's still lecturing Matthew. "Get this: a severe allergic reaction to bee stings" She adds. "More bugs" Sam and Dean say in unison. "More bugs" Y/N confirms.
________________________________
Later they're all in the Impala, Y/N in the drivers seat, Dean in shotgun reading a book and Sam lounging in the back. "You know I've heard of killer bees but killer beetles? What is it that can make different bugs attack" Dean questions.
"Well, haunting a sometimes include bug manifestations" Sam suggests. "But I didn't see any evidence of ghost activity" Dean says. "Yeah me neither" Y/N sighs. "Maybe they're being controlled somehow. You know? By something or someone" Dean suggests. "You mean like Willard?" Sam asks.
"Yeah. Bugs instead of rats" Dean shrugs. "There are cases of psychic connections between people and animals. Elemental, telepaths.." Y/N explains as she adjusts her hands on the steering wheel. "Yeah, the whole Timmy-Lassie thing" Sam says and something clicks on Deans head.
"Larry's kid. Bugs for pets" Dean says. "Matt?" Y/N asks and turns her head to them for a second. "He did try to scare the realtor with a tarantula" Sam says. "Think he's our Willard?" Dean asks. "I don't know" Y/N says and looks at Sam in the rearview mirror. "Anything's possible, I guess" Sam adds.
"Oh hey. Pull over here" Dean ushers Y/N to pull over to a vacant houses driveway. She obliges a bit confused. "What're we doing here?" Sam asks and Dean gets out of the passenger seat. "It's too late to talk to anybody else" He says and goes to open the garage door. Sam and Y/N look over horrified.
"We're gonna squat in an empty house?" Y/N asks bewildered while Sam shakes his head. "I wanna try the steam shower. Come on" Dean says smugly. She stares at him and he ushers again. "Come on Princess! Don't be a wuss" He teases and she shakes her head sighing.
"Your brother is gonna be the death of me" She grumbles quietly to Sam who snickers. Y/N reluctantly pulls into the garage and Sam sticks his hand out the window to lightly punch his brother in the stomach.
________________________________
"You ever coming out of there?!" Y/N yells through the bathroom door, knocking on it. "What!?" Dean responds over the shower. "Dean. A police call came in on the scanner" She informs him. "Hold on" He says annoyed. "Someone was found dead three blocks from here. Come on!" She orders and he opens the door with a smile on his face, a towel wrapped around his head and naked from torso up.
"This shower is awesome" Dean says excitedly and Y/N's eyes trail up his body slightly, her face grows a bit red but she covers it up with a roll of her eyes. "Come on" She groans and walks off, hiding the blush that's building up in her face.
Later they arrive to a house couple blocks away, where the paramedics were wheeling out a body on the stretcher and the place is swarming with police cars. They all exit the car with their umbrellas as it's raining, opening them to walk towards the house.
"Look, I don't know anything more right now. I'll have to call you back. Alright." Larry says into his phone before hanging up as the trio approach him. "Hello. You're back early" Larry says to them with a tight smile on his face. "Yeah. We just drove in, wanted to take another look at the neighborhood" Dean says casually.
"What's going on?" Y/N asks curiously and Larry sighs, looking back at the paramedics putting the gurney into the back of the ambulance. "You guys met Lynda Bloome at the barbecue?" He asks. "The realtor" Sam says with recognition. "Well, she uh...she passed away last night" He informs them sadly.
"What happened?" Dean asked in a concerned tone. "I'm still trying to find that out. I identified the body for the police" Larry says in a shaky voice, looking towards the house. "Look, I'm sorry. This isn't a good time" He apologizes to them and begins to walk off. "It's okay" Y/N says in a sympathetic tone.
"You fellas know what we have to do, right?" Y/N says to them and they nod. "Yeah. Get in that house" Sam says. "See if we got a bug problem" Dean adds.
They wait for the police to clear out and scale the wall of Lynda's house. They find an unlocked window and climb in, Sam closes it behind him. "This looks like the place" Dean says, gesturing to the ground infront of him that has the outline of a body with tape on it infront of the door to the bathroom.
He goes in and stoops to the ground, picking up the wet towel of the water soaked floor. Some bugs fall out of the towel and Y/N grimaces at it. "Spiders" She says and Dean nods. "From spider boy?" He assumes. "Matt. Maybe" Sam says.
________________________________
They later pull up to follow Matt's school bus to where it's dropping him off and Matt exits the bus. "Isn't his house that way?" Y/N asks pointing across the road. "Yep" Sam says. "So where's he going?" Dean asks as Matt walks down a path and they all exit the Impala to follow him.
They find Matt in a wooded area not too far from his house, picking up a praying mantis. "Hey Matt. Remember me?" Sam asks calmly and the young boy is surprised to see the three hunters. "What're you doing out here?" Matt asks them suspiciously. "Well, we wanna talk to you" Y/N says nicely with a small smile on her face.
"You're not here to buy a house, are you?" Matt says knowingly and his face changes. "Wait. You're not serial killers?" He asks shakily and they all snicker in laughter. "No, no. No. I think you're safe" Sam says humorously. "So, Matt...you sure know a lot about insects" Dean says.
"So?" Matt shrugs. "Did you hear what happened to Lynda, the realtor?" Y/N asks and Matt's face drops slightly. "I heard she died this morning" He says. "That's right. Spider bites." Dean says the last part lowly and Sam looks back at him like 'dude, seriously?'.
"Matt, you tried to scare her with a spider" Sam says and Matt seems a bit amused. "Wait. You think I had something to do with that?" He asks. "You tell us" Dean says with a serious look on his face. "That tarantula was a joke. Anyway, that wouldn't explain the bee attack or the gas company guy" Matt explains and Y/N's eyebrows quirk up.
"You know about those?" She asks. "There is something going on here. I don't know what but somethings happening with the insects. Let me show you something" Matt says and picks up his bag to lead them down the path. The three share a look and follow him down.
"So if you knew about all this bug stuff, why not tell you dad? Maybe he could clear everybody out" Sam asks curiously. "Believe me, I've tried but uh...Larry doesn't listen to me" Matt scoffs. "Why not?" Y/N asks. "Mostly? He's too disappointed in his freak son" Matt says and Sam huffs.
"I hear ya" Sam says. "I get it kid" Y/N adds. "You do?" Dean asks them surprised. They look back at him but don't answer. "Matt, how old are you?" Sam asks. "Sixteen" He answers. "Well don't sweat it, because in two years, something greats gonna happen" Sam assured him.
"What?" Matt asks. "College" Sam answers. "You'll be able to get out of that house and away from your dad" Sam says. "What kind of advice is that? Kid should stick with his family" Dean chimes in and Sam looks back at his brother in annoyance. Y/N notices the hostility and tries to ease the situation.
"How much further, Matt?" She asks nicely. "We're close" He says and begins to walk towards it. "Any fighting and I'm putting you two in a time out. Understood?" Y/N says firmly, to the boys warningly and they nod curtly before following begin Matt. "Are you gonna spank me too?" Dean whispers for only her to hear and she whips her head to him, surprised.
A wicked smirk on his face and she rolls her eyes. "Keep it up, I just might Winchester" She retorts scoffing and walks ahead of him. Deans eyes linger to her hips swaying a bit and his heart quickens. They walk a little further in and are greeted by the sound of many insects and bugs chirping, crawling and flying around.
"I've been keeping track of insect populations. It's uh, part of an AP Science class" Matt explains. "You two are like peas in a pod" Dean says to Sam. Y/N shoots him a warning glare and he puts his hands up in surrender chuckling. "What's been happening?" Y/N asks Matt. "A lot. I mean, from bees to earthworms, beetles...you name it. It's like they're congregating here" Matt explains.
"Why?" Dean asks. "I don't know" Matt says. "What's that?" Sam asks, pointing to the patch of area where it's brown, no grass growing. They all walk up towards it to see a bunch of earthworms and Dean presses his foot lightly against it, causing it to sink down. He picks up a stick and pushes it into the hole, digging around and tapping a bit lightly on something solid.
"There's something down there" He says, looking at Sam and Y/N. He puts the stick down and pushes his hand on. They resists the urge to gag as he does so. "Come on. Come on." He grunts, trying to pull whatever it is up. He grabs a hold of it and pulls it out. Revealing a human skull. He looks back at Sam and Y/N who has disgust etched on their faces.
________________________________
They all left Matt in the woods to do what he does and now ended up at a local university to do some research on what they found. They all exit the Impala, Sam coming out of the drivers seat after parking. Y/N takes the box out of the backseat with her and Sam throws his jacket onto to cover it.
"So a bunch of skeletons in an unmarked grave" Sam says as they walk towards the entrance. "Yeah, we'll maybe this is a haunting. Pissed off spirits...some unfinished business" Dean suggests. "Yeah, maybe" Y/N nods in agreement. "The question is, why bugs? And why now?" Sam asks rhetorically.
"That's two questions" Y/N says sarcastically and they chuckle. "Hey, so with that kid back there...how could you tell him to ditch his family like that?" Dean asks Sam. "Just, uh, I know what the kids going through.." Sam says. "How about telling him to respect his old man? How's that for advice?" Dean says a bit brashly.
"Dean come on" Y/N warns him and he sighs. "This isn't about his old man. You think I didn't respect Dad. That's what this is about" Sam says knowingly and Dean pauses, having been caught. "Let's forget it alright. Sorry I brought it up" He says, trying to change the subject. "I respected him. But no matter what I did. It was never good enough." Sam says frustrated.
"So what are you saying? Dad was disappointed in you?" Dean says. "Was?" Sam chuckles dryly. "Is. Always has been" Sam states. "Why would you think that?" Dean asks exasperated. "Because I didn't wanna bow hunt. Or hustle pool. Because I wanted to go to school and live my life. Which, in our whacked out families, made me the freak" Sam rants.
"Yeah, you were kind of like the blond chick from The Munsters" Dean cracks a joke and Y/N shakes her head. "Dean, you know what most dads are when their kids score a full ride? Proud" Sam whispers the last part. "Most dads don't toss their kids out of the house" Sam says hurt and Dean nods. "I remember that fight. In fact, I see to recall a few choice phrases coming out of your mouth" Dean says.
Sam nods, chuckling humorously. "You know, truth is, when we finally do find Dad and Mr. L/N , I don't even know if dads gonna wanna see me" Sam says with a sad smile on his face. Y/N felt a pang in her chest when he said that, wanting to tell him it's not true but also feeling like she doesn't have a place in this conversation, she puts her hand on his shoulder comfortingly and he gives her a sad smile before she drops her hand back.
"Sam, Dad was never disappointed in you. Never. He was scared" Dean assures his little brother. "What are you talking about?" Sam asks him confused. "He was afraid of what could've happened to you if he wasn't around. But even when you two weren't talking...he used to swing by Stanford whenever he could. Keep an eye on you. Make sure you were safe" Dean explains to Sam.
Sams face drops. "What?" He asks surprised. "Yeah" Dean nods. "Why didn't he tell me any of that?" Sam asks. "Well, it's a two way street, dude. You could have picked up the phone" Dean says and Sam swallows the lump in this throat, staring down sadly. Y/N notices the time on her watch, feeling a bit bad for having to interrupt them.
"I don't mean to interrupt your moment fellas. But we're gonna be late for our appointment" She says gently. "Yeah...let's go" Dean says, flashing her a small smile, he takes the box of stuff from her hand and walks to the entrance. "Sorry Y/N, we didn't mean to drag you into that" Sam apologizes sincerely.
"Hey hey, we're family" She says gently with a small smile in her face. Placing her hand back on his shoulder, "I of all people know that you two have got some stuff you need to work out. Don't apologize for anything ever. Im always here" She assures him and he smiles at her sadly.
"Thanks y/n/n" He says gratefully, giving her a hug, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. "Anytime Sammy" She says, wrapping her hands around his waist, patting his back. They let go of their hug and walk towards the entrance.

"So you three are students?" Professor Reardon asks them, now in the lecture hall. "Yeah. Yeah. We're in your class. Anthro 101?" Sam says to the professor. "Oh, yeah" The professor responds as if he knew, which he didn't recognize them but went along with it. "So, what about those bones professor?" Dean asks.
"This is quite an interesting find you've made" Professor Reardon compliments. "I'd say they're 170 years old, give or take. The time frame and the geography heavily suggest Native American"  He tells them and Dean looks over at Sam and Y/N surprised.
"Were there any tribes or reservations on that land?" Sam asks confused. "Not according to the uh...historical record. But..the uh relocation of native peoples was quite common at that time" The professor explains. "Right. Well, are there any local legends? Oral histories about the area?" Y/N asks curiously.
"Well...you know, there's a Euchee tribe in Sapulpa. It's about 60 miles from here. Someone out there might know the truth" The professor tells them. "Alright" Dean nods smiling.
________________________________
They follow the professors advice and go to the Euchee Tribe's grounds in Supulpa. Approaching a man directs them where to part and they approach a cafe. Inside is the tribes leader, and elderly Native American man with long grey hair, sitting at a booth, playing solitaire.
"Joe White Tree?" Sam asks the man at the booth and he nods in confirmation. "We'd like to ask you a few questions, if that's all right sir" Y/N says sweetly, a pleasant smile on her face. "We're students from the university" Dean adds.
"No, you're not. You're lying" Joe calls Dean out on his lie, stunning the group. "Um...well truth is-" Dean stutters but Joe cuts him off. "You know who starts sentence with 'truth is'? Liars" Joe says bluntly, playing his card game. Dean looks over at Sam and Y/N, both suppressing their amusement.
Sam sighs "Have you heard of Oasis Plains?" He asks. "It's a housing development near the Atoka Valley" Y/N adds and Joe looks at them and back at Dean. "I like them" Joe says. "They're not liars" He adds bluntly making Dean slightly roll his eyes uncomfortably. Y/N chuckles a bit along with Sam while she places her hand on Deans shoulder comfortingly.
"I know the area" Joe tells them, nodding. "What can you tell us about the history up there?" Sam asks. "Why would you wanna know?" Joe asks curiously. "Something...Something bad is happening in Oasis Plains. We think it might have something to do with some old bones we found there..Native American bones" Y/N explains to him sadly.
Joe nods sadly, thinking a bit before telling them. "I'll tell you what my grandfather told me. What his grandfather told him. Two hundred years ago, a band of my ancestors lived in that valley. One day, the American cavalry came to relocate them." He begins to explain and the three share a look.
"They were resistant...the cavalry impatient. As my grandfather put it: 'On the night the moon and the sun share the sky as equals...the cavalry first raided our village. They murdered, raped. The next day, the cavalry came again. And the next and the next. And on the sixth night, the cavalry came one last time. And by the time the sun rose....every man, woman band child still in the village was dead' " Joe tells the story and the three begin to grow a bit uneasy. The story breaking all their hearts.
"They say on the sixth night...as the chief of the village lay dying...he whispered to the heavens...that nonwhite man would ever tarnish this land again. Nature would rise up and protect the valley. And it would bring as many days of misery and death to the white man as the cavalry brought upon his people" Joe finishes telling the story and something clicks in Y/N head.
"Insects" She says turning to the boys. Deans eyebrows quirk up. "Sounds like nature to me" He says. "Six days?" Dean asks Joe. "And in the night of the sixth day...none would survive" Joe says, going back to his card game.
They thank Joe for his time and exit the cafe. "When did the gas-company man die?" Sam asks. "Uh...let's see. We got here Tuesday, so Friday the 20th" Dean informs him as they walk to the Impala and once again, Y/N realizes something. "March 20th. That's the spring equinox" Y/N tells them.
"The night the sun and the moon share the sky as equals" Dean says and Sam huffs. "So every year about this time, anybody in Oasis Plains is in danger. Larry built his neighborhood on cursed land" Sam says ironically. "And on the sixth night, that's tonight" Y/N says. "If we don't do something, Larry's family will be dead by sunrise" Sam says as they go to their respective doors by the car.
"So how do we break the curse?" Y/N asks Dean. "You don't break a curse. You get out of its way. We gotta get those people out now" Dean says urgently, they all jump in Baby and make their way back to Oasis Plains in a hurry.
________________________________
Now rushing down the street in the Impala to Oasis Plains, Y/N is on the phone with Larry Pike, pretending to be from the gas company. "Yes, Mr. Pike. There's a mainline gas leak in your neighborhood" She says urgently into the phone. "God. Really? How big?" Larry asks worried.
"Well. It's fairly extensive. I don't wanna alarm you but we need your family out of the vicinity for at least 12 hours. Just to be safe" She lies. "And who is this again?" Larry asks suspiciously. "Tara Weaver. I work for the Oklahoma Gas and Power" She tells him.
"Uh-huh. The problem is, I know Tara. She's worked with us for a year. So who is this" Larry demands, catching onto her lie. "Uh..." She stutters, hanging up the phone and tossing it aside. Sam sighs in frustration. "Give me the phone" He tells her and she hands it to him.
Sam dials Matt's number into it. "Hello?" Matt answers. "Matt. It's Sam." He tells him. "Sam. My backyard's crawling with cockroaches" Matt says panicked. "Matt, just listen. You have to get your family out of that house right now. Okay?" Sam instructs him quickly. "What? Why?" Matt asks confused.
"Because something's coming" He tells him honestly, looking over at Dean and Y/N. "More bugs?" Matt asks. "Yeah. A lot more" Sam confirms. "My dad doesn't listen in the best of circumstances. What am I supposed to tell him?" Matt asks. "You gotta make him listen. Okay?" Sam instructs him causing Y/N and Dean rolls their eyes.
"Gimme the phone. Gimme the phone!" Y/N orders her best friend, leaning over the seat and snatching the phone from him. "Matt! Under no circumstances are you to tell him the truth. He'll just think you're nuts" Y/N says into the phone, her voice laced with authority. "But, he's my-" Matt goes to argue but Y/N cuts him off.
"Tell him you have a sharp pain in your right side and you gotta go to the hospital. Okay?" She tells him. "Yeah. Yeah, okay" Matt breaths out reluctantly and Y/N hangs the phone up. Dean looks over to his little brother disapprovingly. " 'Make him listen.' What are you thinking?" He retorts while Sam smirks, shaking his head.
________________________________
They park infront of the Pike residence to see the lights on and the cars still in the garage. "Dammit. They're still here" Y/N groans. "Come on" Dean says to them and they exit the Impala, walking up to the front door but Larry sees them from his window and comes out of the house.
"Get off my property before I call the cops!" He yells at them, pointing his finger towards them. "Mr. Pike. Listen-" Sam tries to reason but Matt cuts him off. "Dad, they're just trying to help" He tries to tell Larry. "Get in the house!" Larry commands his son. "Sorry. I told him the truth" Matt says apologetically.
"We had a plan, Matt. What happened to the plan?" Y/N grumbles. "Look. It's 12 am. They are coming any minute now. You need to get your family and go. Before it's too late" Sam warns Larry. "Wait no. You mean, before the biblical swarm" Larry says sarcastically.
"Larry, what do you think really happened to that realtor? Huh? And the gas company guy. You don't think something weirds going on around here?" Dean tells him. "Look. I don't know who you are, but you're crazy. You come near my boy or my family again, we're gonna have a problem" Larry threatens them.
"Well I hate to be a downer. But we got a problem now" Y/N says firmly. "Dad, they're right. We're in danger" Matt tries to warn his dad but he turns back to him angrily, "Matt, get inside! Now!" He yells at Matt loudly. "No! Why won't you listen to me!?" Matt screams back frustrated. "Because this is crazy! It doesn't make any sense!" Larry shouts angrily.
"Look, this land is cursed. People have died here! Now are you gonna really take that risk with your family!?" Sam yells at Larry, now irritated. "Wait" Dean says, they all hear the rumbling of the bugs. "You hear it?" Y/N asks Larry. "What the hell" Larry says confused and the bug zapper behind them on Larry's porch goes off continuously.
"Alright, it's time to go Larry. Get your wife. Yeah" Dean orders Larry and he runs up the porch. "Guys?" Matt draws their attention to the swarm of bugs flying towards them. "Oh my god" Larry says, stunned. "We'll never make it" Sam says. "Everybody in the house. Everybody in the house. Go!" Dean yells, and they all run into the house.
"Is there anyone else in the neighborhood?" Y/N asks as they close the door behind them. "No, it's just us" Larry tells him. "Honey, what's happening? What's that noise?" Larry's wife, Joanie, asks. "Call 911...Joanie!" He yells at her. "O-okay" She says panicked. "I need towels" Dean tells Larry urgently. "The closet" He says and goes to get them.
"We gotta lock this place up. Come on. Doors, windows, the fireplace, everything" Y/N tells Sam and Matt, running up the stairs to do as she said. "The phones are dead" Joanie tells Larry and Dean fearfully. "Must've chewed through the phone lines" Dean says as he lays towels down under the cracks of the door.
Suddenly the electricity goes out. "And the power lines..." Dean adds. "Maybe my cell.." Larry says, running to grab his phone. "No signal" He says. "You won't get one. They're blanketing the house" Dean tells him as the bugs cover the windows outsides, cluttering at the windows.
Sam and Y/N come back downstairs while Matt grabs onto his mom, clutching at her side. They watch as the bugs crawl on the windows. "What do we do now?" Larry asks them. "We try to outlast it" Y/N says lowly. "Hopefully, the curse will end at sunrise" Sam says.
"Hopefully?" Larry asks panicked. Dean goes into the kitchen to see the bugs cluttering at the kitchen window. He runs below the sink, hoping to find bug spray. He eventually finds it, popping the top off and goes back into the living room. "Bug spray?" Joanie asks bewildered. "Trust me" Dean says.
They hear a creaking sound coming from behind them. "What is that?" Matt asks. It sounded like it was coming from the fireplace. They inch closer and closer. "The flue" Y/N says. "Alright. I think we need to get everyone upstairs" Dean says and then a loud bang comes from the fireplace.
Bugs swarm from out of it by the thousands. Larry and his family scream in fear. Y/N grabs the canister of bug spray from Dean and pulls out her lighter. Flicking it open and spraying the bug spray into the flame, making a makeshift flame thrower. "Everybody upstairs! Now! Go go go!" She yells and they all begin running upstairs in panic and fear.
She uses the fire to clear a path so they can go upstairs quickly. They go up to the attic. Sam locks the door behind and Y/N uses the fire to shun most of the bugs out. "Oh god, what's that?" Joanie asks fearfully, seeing dust from the fall. Sam, Dean and Y/N move closer to see. "Something's eating through the wood" Y/N says. "Termites" Joanie says fearfully.
"Alright. Everybody get back. Get back!" Dean orders them. "Get back!" Larry tells his son and wife, shielding them with his body. "Matt!" Joanie calls out worriedly for her son. The wooden roof them breaks down a hole causing thousands of termites to fly in and swarm them. Y/N uses the bug spray and lighter to spray fire at them.
While Sam goes and get an old electric panel door and Dean grabs a long piece of wood. "Dean you got it?!" Sam asks Dean. "Yeah. Go, go, go!" Dean screams and Sam uses the panel door to block the hole while Dean uses the stick to hold it up. They hear another side of the roof breaking and Y/N sprays the bug spray into the lighter again to fire at them.
The Pikes are screaming as the big fly all about them. More of the wooden roof breaks and Y/N sprays it in all directions but the big are growing more and more. Suddenly they start to fly back outside, confusing everyone. The boys and Y/N walk slowly to the exposed roofing to see that the sun has risen meaning the curse has been lift.
________________________________
The next day, the trio pull up to the Pike Residence to see moving trucks outside. Getting out of the vehicle, Dean jokingly says "What? No goodbye?". Larry spots them, "Good timing. Another hour and we'd have been gone" Larry say, reaching out to shake Deans hand gratefully. "For good?" Y/N asks.
"Yeah. The development's been put on hold while the government investigates the bones you found. But I'm gonna make damn sure no one lives here again" Larry informs them, determined. "You don't seem too upset about it" Sam says. "Well, this has been the biggest financial disaster of my career but somehow.." Larry begins and looks back at Matt carrying a box and smiles looking back at the hunters
"...I really don't care" He tells them and they smile. Sam goes over to talk to Matt, to see him at the dumpster throwing away all his bug stuff. "What's this?" He asks surprised. "I don't know. They...kind of weird me out now" Matt says smiling and Sam chuckles. "Yeah, I should hope so" He says laughing.
Meanwhile Dean and Y/N are at the Impala leaning against it while Sam and Matt chat. Dean notices the look of despair on Y/N's face and nudges her a bit. She looks up at him with a tight smile, "You're doing great, you know that?" He assures her. "What?" She asks confused. "This job. You're doing great. I could only imagine how amazing you did on your own. Your dad is proud of you too" Dean assured her and she shakes her head.
"I appreciate that Dean. Even if I don't believe it" She smiles softly at him. "You better believe it princess" He smirks, nudging her again. "Shut up charming" She chuckles, nudging him back jokingly biting her lower lip to stop herself from smiling. Dean notices this and his eyes dart down to her lips. Y/N couldn't help but trail her eyes down to his.
"When we do find our dads...I just wanna give them a hug" Y/N says looking down. Dean sees her frown, his heart breaks seeing her so sad and he wraps his arm around her, pulling her into his shoulder. "Fuck I sound like a little bitch" She chuckles dryly. "No you don't. Hey look at me" He says gently and she looks up at him, her gaze filled with sorrow.
"You're great too, Winchester" She says sincerely clearing her throat, pulling her eyes away from his lips. He smiles at the compliment. "Not as great as me though" She adds cockily, flashing him a wink and he rolls his eyes in fake annoyance causing her to laugh more. "Shut up, Princess" He grumbles jokingly.
Sam walks back over after his conversation with Matt and leans next to Y/N on the Impala. Dean and Y/N only notice Sam when they feel the weight on Baby shift and let out of their side hug. "I wanna find our dads" He tells them. "Yeah me too" Dean says.
"Same here" Y/N adds. "Yeah, but I just...I wanna apologize to Dad" Sam says and Dean looks over at Sam. "For what?" He asks and Sam takes a deep breath. "All the things I said to him. He was just doing the best he can" Sam says and Y/N nods agreeing. "Me and you both" She says looking down.
"Don't worry guys, we'll find them. And you two will get to apologize" He says to them. "And then within five minutes Sam and Dad will be at each others throats" Dean adds making Sam and Y/N laugh. "Yeah probably" Sam says laughing. "You too Princess. I think I'm gonna need to get a crowbar to separate you and f/n from clawing at each other" Dean tells Y/N jokingly and she laughs hysterically.
"Bite me, charming" She counters laughing. The three share a lengthy laugh before sobering up. "Let's hit the road fellas" Y/N says. "Let's" Dean says and opens the back door for her, gesturing for her to get in. She dramatically gasps and he rolls his eyes. "My oh my. Such a gentleman. Are you gonna paint my nails next?" She jokes, wiggling her eyebrows and getting in.
"Sure. What color would you like? Bubblegum pink or lavender purple?" He retorts back sarcastically in a high voice, locking the door, a tinge of pink growing on his cheeks and Y/N and Sam laugh hysterically. Shaking his head. Stubborn asses. Sam thinks to himself. Sam gets in and Dean gets in the drivers seat and they're off.
