good traits gone bad explained
good traits gone bad - Part I
Perfectionism - What can be so wrong about being perfect? While perfectionism can drive a person to execute their tasks with care, it can also drive them to being unsatisfied with everything they do or it can even hinder them to start doing something out of crippling fear that whatever they do will not be perfect.
Honesty - You would think that honesty is always appreciated - but if the honesty is being perceived as being rude and insensitive, other people might turn away from a brutally honest person. Therefore, brutal honesty can lose someone opportunities or connections.
Devotion - Being devoted to something or someone can seem like an admirable character trait. But if taken to the extreme it can also turn into a dangerous obsession.

Tarot Is A Game (and It's Fine)
It started with "the tarot was created by the Egyptians". It developed into "the tarot was created by Kabbalists". Now some want to convince us that the tarot was created by Mary Magdalene or the Cathars or whatever. Some people are desperate for a cool and broody origin story, as if it could justify the fact that they shuffle little pieces of cardboard for answers about life (or to justify the price tag to the saps they try to sell books to).
Professional historians have pretty much concluded that the tarot is simply a beautifully illustrated medieval Italian card game with allegorical pictures that most people back in those days would have been able to immediately recognize. So the tarot was not created for divination, fortune-telling or hiding deep secrets. So what? Tea leaves aren't created to be read, nor clouds to be skried into. Dice were created to have fun, yet witches roll them to get answers. What better than a card game to reflect the playful interrelation of events in the game of life?

For my international followers: Germany had held elections today, as some of you might already know. The final results are not quite certain right now. Like, we have a rough direction, but given that we have a representatitve democracy (instead of fully FPTP like the US) there is right now the big question whether two parties will get over the 5% they ´need to enter the parliament.
RIght now the predicted results look like this:
Tumblr media
For reference for all international peeps a quick reference:
SPD - Sozialdemokraten - basically the former Labour Party, though by now they are fairly conservative, mainly due to the current party lead. The current chancellor is by them, but he is a fucking criminal and people are not having it.
Union - CDU and CSU - "Christian" Party. Think like Bush-Republicans. Not Trump-Republicans but Bush-Republicans. Or for the UK people: Basically Tories. They are probably the least Christian party in policy, but they love to quote the bible when they need a reason to hate on minorities. Pro-Capitalist. Anti-Progressive.
Grüne - Greens. Well, nothing really to explain. The Greens. Mainly an environmental party. Usually they are fairly left wing, but right now they are center-right.
FDP - Freie Demokraten - basically the "liberal party", meaing: "All we care about is capitalism being awesome!"
AfD - Alternative für Deutschland - the Nazi Party. Nuff said.
Linke - Left Wing Party. My party. Aka: The actual left wing.
BSW - Bündnis Sarah Wagenknecht. Aka: The party of the former left wing party leader, who did swirl fairly right (especially TERFy) and because of that eventually left the party and made her own party.
As you can see, it looks right now as if the FDP and the BSW will be unable to enter parliament.
Now, as we have a representative government the parties will have to form a coalition, which right now is gonna be a challenge. While technically speaking the CDU and AfD could form a coalition of more than 50% of seats if the numbers stay somewhat the same, the CDU does not want to work with the AfD (especially because they know that their voters do not want that). So basically right now the only possible coalition would be CDU + SPD + Greens. And we will see whether that will happen.
My money is on: We will do another round of elections before the end of the year.
Though the Left Wing party is celebrating right now. We almost got double as many votes as last election - and within the 2 months of 2025 we doubled the number of active members in the party. What is encouraging: Right now we get a lot more older people joining us. So far the old people were always against us, becuase they grew up under Red Scare and shit. But given that when the CDU did one collaboration with the fucking Nazis, we were by far the loudest party to hold against it, a lot of older people now are like: "Actually, socialism might not be the worst." (Like, I can tell you from canvassing: The old people we talked with were either like: "OMG, I will not talk to fucking lefts" or: "Oh, you did work against the Nazis. That is great! Do you want some cake?")
But yeah, the fact that the fucking Nazis have like 20% of votes is fucking sick.
But all in all, the fact that right now the left is really pushing and rising is still encouraging.

Im new here and kinda dumb. I was wondering if you could summarize your Lamb's story? All I'm really getting is they died to have a kid-
On another note, I adore your art! There's just something about it that I adore
In my CULT OF THE LAMB AU "Of Lambs and Chains" - Dulciter is one of the lambs raised in Darkwood, under the rule and influence of Leshy. Before any prophecy ever existed, they lived a fairly quiet life with the rest of their kind, following traditions and rituals laid down by the lambs. Leshy was the one who raised them, acting almost like a guardian figure, though it was more about control than care.
Everything changed during the Splendid Vegetable Feast...a rare celebration that brought many beings together, including Narinder, who at that time wasn’t imprisoned yet. That’s when Dulciter and Narinder first met. They were drawn to each other almost instantly. What started as fleeting conversations turned into secret meetings deep in the woods, away from Leshy’s watchful eye. Over time, they fell for each other. Slowly, cautiously, but deeply.
At the same time, Narinder was pursuing a dangerous vision. He wanted to permanently open the doors between life and death...essentially make mortals immortal and free from divine control. That idea started attracting more and more followers to him. But the gods need devotion, fear, and sacrifice to survive. Without that, they weaken. His siblings...especially Shamura...began to feel their power fading as mortals turned toward Narinder’s promise of eternal life.
Originally, Shamura had supported his work, even helped him with his experiments. But once they realized Narinder’s plan would lead to the downfall of all the gods, including themself, they made the decision to stop him. That’s when they betrayed Narinder and had him imprisoned.
After that, Narinder disappeared from Dulciter’s life. No explanation. No goodbyes. Just silence.
Years passed.
Eventually, Dulciter moved on...or at least tried to. They married another lamb named Proditor and had a daughter, Puella. It seemed like a second chance at peace. But then the prophecy emerged...the one that said a lamb would rise and kill the Bishops. Once that was known, Shamura ordered a mass extermination of all lambs, just to prevent it from coming true.
That’s where Proditor showed his true colors. He betrayed the other lambs, including Dulciter and his own daughter, in exchange for gold. He made it easy for the Bishops to find and slaughter them. But in the end, he was sacrificed too. It was never about promises...just power.
Dulciter was forced to watch as everyone they loved was killed, including Puella. They were the last lamb alive. When it came time for their sacrifice, instead of dying, they ended up resurrected...and found themself standing before Narinder again.
Narinder hadn’t seen them in decades, but the moment he did, all those feelings came flooding back. Despite the pain, he still loved them. And after everything Dulciter had lost, they eventually began to love him again too. They married while Dulciter was still the crown bearer, and Narinder remained chained and imprisoned. Their relationship was intense, filled with both devotion and grief.
When Dulciter finally completed everything required of them, they returned to Narinder to free him. But what they didn’t realize was that the last sacrifice needed was their own life. They died to break Narinder’s final chain.
Freed at last, Narinder was devastated. The person he loved and married had given up their life for him. He couldn’t bear it. So he sacrificed a part of himself...which will be mentioned later... to bring them back.
Dulciter did return. But they weren’t the same.
They remember everything. The betrayal. The loss of their child. The silence after Narinder's imprisonment. Even though they love him, they also resent him for the part he played in everything. Their relationship now is strained...filled with complicated feelings, unresolved grief, and moments of trying to rebuild what was lost.
Narinder is desperate to make them happy again. He’s constantly trying to prove that he’s changed and that he loves them. Meanwhile, Dulciter is still mourning, still carrying the weight of everything they’ve endured. Their love isn’t gone...but it’s bruised and uncertain.

How I feel trying to explain the marauders fandom to people:
“So you know the marauders map right?? Have you read Harry Potter?? Yes? Good. So in the prisoner of Azkaban yk remus and Sirius? Yes Harry’s godfather and professor, well they dated, no not in canon, but you’re going to have to learn to throw away canon if you want to understand this. Oh the marauders map? Right uhhh so!! Moony, wormatail, padfoot and prongs, they’re the marauders and the main guys of this fandom. Did you know that they’re names go on the map in reverse order to when they died? Well anyway!! Those are their nicknames, their real names are Remus lupin, yes Harry’s 3rd year professor, didn’t they go over this in the book?? You were to busy paying attention to the plot? Oh. Well!! The others are Peter pettigrew (the one who betrayed james and lily) Sirius black (Harry’s godfather) and James potter (Harry’s dad) There’s a whole fandom dedicated to Harry’s dad and his friends? Yes.
Anyway I haven’t even gotten onto the Valkyries yet!! Who are the Valkyries?? Well-”

The Reality of Shifting, The Multiverse, and Becoming Our Own God
In this blog I’ll be talking about the multiverse, being our own god, along with shifting as a whole.
Shifting, the practice of moving one’s consciousness into a desired reality (DR), is often dismissed as fantasy or an elaborate visualization technique. However, for shifters who practice and believe in it, shifting is more than just a mental exercise; it is a way to access real, parallel universes within the multiverse. This ability ties deeply to the theory of the multiverse, the belief in infinite realities, and the inherent power we hold as individuals to simply shift to the life we desire. By exploring how shifting is real, its connection to the multiverse, and our role as explorers and travelers of these realities, we’ll see that shifting can transform how we view ourselves and existence itself.
The Multiverse: Infinite Realities and Infinite Possibilities
At the heart of shifting is the idea of the multiverse, a theory in quantum physics and metaphysics that suggests infinite parallel universes exist simultaneously. In these universes, every possible outcome of every decision you’ve ever made—and those you haven’t—plays out. For example, there could be a universe where you are a world-renowned artist, another where you live in a magical realm, and countless others where your life unfolds in ways entirely different from your current reality.
Shifting is based on the belief that these universes are not just theoretical but tangible, existing on planes of reality that we can consciously access. Practitioners of shifting argue that the mind is the key to traversing these realities. By aligning their energy and focus, individuals can “travel” to any universe they desire. This concept challenges the conventional understanding of reality as static and instead proposes that reality is fluid, shaped by our consciousness and perception.
In the multiverse, every reality exists independently, and we are not creating these worlds—rather, we are simply shifting our awareness and consciousness to one of them. These realities have already been formed and are already real. When we shift, we are not imagining something new; we are moving from one universe to another, a journey across dimensions that already exist.
The Reality of Shifting
For many, the most compelling aspect of shifting is its assertion that these alternate realities are not simply imaginative constructs but fully real. When someone shifts, they are not creating a temporary illusion or dreaming; they are stepping into a world that exists independently of their current reality. People who have successfully shifted often describe their experiences as vivid, consistent, and indistinguishable from their waking life. They interact with people, objects, and environments in their DR as if they were physically present.
This challenges traditional notions of consciousness as being bound by the physical body. Instead, it supports the idea that consciousness is a separate, powerful force capable of transcending time, space, and dimension. If the multiverse exists, and consciousness can shift between these universes, then reality is far more expansive and malleable than we’ve been led to believe.
When you shift, you are not imagining or creating a universe—you are traveling to one that is already there, existing independently. It is a universe that you can explore, live in, and interact with, just like the one you are in now. This makes shifting not just a mental journey, but a real journey across dimensions.
Becoming Our Own God
One of the most empowering aspects of shifting is its connection to self-realization and the idea of becoming your own god. Shifting reveals that we are not passive participants in a predetermined reality but active travelers with the power to choose where we want to go. In this sense, each of us is a god of our own existence, capable of moving between infinite realities at will.
When you shift, you are not bound by the limitations of your current reality. You can step into a universe where everything you’ve ever desired is already a part of your life: wealth, love, adventure, or even the chance to live in a fictional world you adore. This ability to access any reality, any version of yourself, emphasizes the limitless potential within each of us. You are not creating a new world—you’re traveling to one that already exists, where your dreams and desires are already part of the fabric of that universe.
This idea ties into the law of attraction, which suggests that our thoughts and beliefs create our reality. Shifting goes beyond that; it suggests that not only can we manifest changes in our current reality, but we can travel to a universe where everything we desire has already come to fruition. It’s about moving between realities to find the one that aligns with the life we seek, rather than having to create that life from scratch.
By acknowledging our ability to shift between universes, we realize that we are powerful beings capable of experiencing all that we desire. The notion of being our own god takes on a new meaning—we are not the creators of the universes, but we have the power to choose where we go, to move between these infinite realities and live the life that resonates most with us.
Having Everything You Desire Through Shifting
Shifting also reinforces the idea that everything you desire already exists. In the multiverse, there is a reality where every version of your dream life is playing out. If you desire wealth, there is a universe where you are living in abundance. If you long for adventure, there is a reality where you are traveling the stars. Shifting allows you to access these possibilities and experience them firsthand.
This realization brings a sense of freedom and empowerment. You are not limited by the constraints of your current reality; instead, you have the power to step into any life you choose. Shifting teaches that the barriers we perceive—whether they are physical, emotional, or societal—are constructs of the mind. By dissolving these limitations, we open ourselves to infinite possibilities.
The beauty of shifting lies in the simplicity of accessing these alternate lives. You are not required to create a new version of yourself from scratch—you are simply moving your consciousness to a place where the version of you that already exists can be explored and experienced. Whatever you desire is already part of the multiverse, waiting for you to step into it. There is no need to force the change; simply shift to the reality where it is already real.
The Deeper Implications of Shifting
The practice of shifting and its connection to the multiverse has profound implications for how we view reality, consciousness, and our role in the universe. It challenges the belief that we are bound by linear time, fixed dimensions, or the limitations of our physical bodies. Instead, it reveals that we are infinite beings capable of exploring and experiencing realities beyond imagination.
Shifting also invites us to rethink our relationship with desire. Instead of seeing desires as unattainable or external, it suggests that they are already ours, waiting for us to claim them. This shift in perspective—from lack to abundance, from limitation to possibility—can transform not only our understanding of reality but also how we live our lives.
Conclusion
Shifting is far more than a trend or a fringe practice; it is a gateway to understanding the multiverse and our role as travelers within it. By recognizing that alternate realities are real, that we hold the power to access them, and that we are the ones choosing where to go, we unlock the potential to live without limits. Shifting reminds us that everything we desire is already within reach and that the boundaries of reality are only as rigid as we believe them to be. In embracing this practice, we step into a new paradigm of existence—one where infinite possibilities are not just imagined but fully lived. Through shifting, we discover the power to go to the universe where our dreams are already a reality.

In Utena, before every duel, Utena Tenjou has to climb a staircase surrounded rows of pillars.
This is a freemasonic symbol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mostly, in freemasonry, it is depicted as a ladder but some versions feature a staircase instead.
The pillars called Jaquin and Boaz represent the divine male solar principle and the divine female lunar principle. And it represents the 3 rows of the sephiroth in Kabbala.
Ascending the staircase means initiation, learning and spiritual growth.
By the way, in Tantra and some other occult traditions, the female principle is represented by a sword wielded by the man.
Interestingly, in one of the first witch worlds in Madoka Magica, a similar staircase appears

O dang!
Fun fact: they are called tanks as a diversion tactic before they were to be deployed during WW1, (1916)
the british were trying to hide what they were
So the supplies were labeled as (Water) Tanks and such for shipping and manufacturing
That way german spies would not suspect it was a big gun on wheels.
And then the name just stuck around for the next 109 years
So.... pretty weird.

Whatever is set aside from the holy offerings the Israelites present to the Lord I give to you and your sons and daughters as your perpetual share. It is an everlasting covenant of salt before the Lord for both you and your offspring".
Numbers 18: 19
What is the " Covenant of Salt?"
That is, an incorruptible, everlasting covenant. As salt was added to different kinds of viands, not only to give them a relish, but to preserve them from putrefaction and decay, it became the emblem of incorruptibility and permanence.

History and Basics of Language Models: How Transformers Changed AI Forever - and Led to Neuro-sama
I have seen a lot of misunderstandings and myths about Neuro-sama's language model. I have decided to write a short post, going into the history of and current state of large language models and providing some explanation about how they work, and how Neuro-sama works! To begin, let's start with some history.
Before the beginning
Before the language models we are used to today, models like RNNs (Recurrent Neural Networks) and LSTMs (Long Short-Term Memory networks) were used for natural language processing, but they had a lot of limitations. Both of these architectures process words sequentially, meaning they read text one word at a time in order. This made them struggle with long sentences, they could almost forget the beginning by the time they reach the end.
Another major limitation was computational efficiency. Since RNNs and LSTMs process text one step at a time, they can't take full advantage of modern parallel computing harware like GPUs. All these fundamental limitations mean that these models could never be nearly as smart as today's models.
The beginning of modern language models
In 2017, a paper titled "Attention is All You Need" introduced the transformer architecture. It was received positively for its innovation, but no one truly knew just how important it is going to be. This paper is what made modern language models possible.
The transformer's key innovation was the attention mechanism, which allows the model to focus on the most relevant parts of a text. Instead of processing words sequentially, transformers process all words at once, capturing relationships between words no matter how far apart they are in the text. This change made models faster, and better at understanding context.
The full potential of transformers became clearer over the next few years as researchers scaled them up.
The Scale of Modern Language Models
A major factor in an LLM's performance is the number of parameters - which are like the model's "neurons" that store learned information. The more parameters, the more powerful the model can be. The first GPT (generative pre-trained transformer) model, GPT-1, was released in 2018 and had 117 million parameters. It was small and not very capable - but a good proof of concept. GPT-2 (2019) had 1.5 billion parameters - which was a huge leap in quality, but it was still really dumb compared to the models we are used to today. GPT-3 (2020) had 175 billion parameters, and it was really the first model that felt actually kinda smart. This model required 4.6 million dollars for training, in compute expenses alone.
Recently, models have become more efficient: smaller models can achieve similar performance to bigger models from the past. This efficiency means that smarter and smarter models can run on consumer hardware. However, training costs still remain high.
How Are Language Models Trained?
Pre-training: The model is trained on a massive dataset to predict the next token. A token is a piece of text a language model can process, it can be a word, word fragment, or character. Even training relatively small models with a few billion parameters requires trillions of tokens, and a lot of computational resources which cost millions of dollars.
Post-training, including fine-tuning: After pre-training, the model can be customized for specific tasks, like answering questions, writing code, casual conversation, etc. Certain post-training methods can help improve the model's alignment with certain values or update its knowledge of specific domains. This requires far less data and computational power compared to pre-training.
The Cost of Training Large Language Models
Pre-training models over a certain size requires vast amounts of computational power and high-quality data. While advancements in efficiency have made it possible to get better performance with smaller models, models can still require millions of dollars to train, even if they have far fewer parameters than GPT-3.
The Rise of Open-Source Language Models
Many language models are closed-source, you can't download or run them locally. For example ChatGPT models from OpenAI and Claude models from Anthropic are all closed-source.
However, some companies release a number of their models as open-source, allowing anyone to download, run, and modify them.
While the larger models can not be run on consumer hardware, smaller open-source models can be used on high-end consumer PCs.
An advantage of smaller models is that they have lower latency, meaning they can generate responses much faster. They are not as powerful as the largest closed-source models, but their accessibility and speed make them highly useful for some applications.
So What is Neuro-sama?
Basically no details are shared about the model by Vedal, and I will only share what can be confidently concluded and only information that wouldn't reveal any sort of "trade secret". What can be known is that Neuro-sama would not exist without open-source large language models. Vedal can't train a model from scratch, but what Vedal can do - and can be confidently assumed he did do - is post-training an open-source model. Post-training a model on additional data can change the way the model acts and can add some new knowledge - however, the core intelligence of Neuro-sama comes from the base model she was built on. Since huge models can't be run on consumer hardware and would be prohibitively expensive to run through API, we can also say that Neuro-sama is a smaller model - which has the disadvantage of being less powerful, having more limitations, but has the advantage of low latency. Latency and cost are always going to pose some pretty strict limitations, but because LLMs just keep getting more efficient and better hardware is becoming more available, Neuro can be expected to become smarter and smarter in the future. To end, I have to at least mention that Neuro-sama is more than just her language model, though we have only talked about the language model in this post. She can be looked at as a system of different parts. Her TTS, her VTuber avatar, her vision model, her long-term memory, even her Minecraft AI, and so on, all come together to make Neuro-sama.
Wrapping up - Thanks for Reading!
This post was meant to provide a brief introduction to language models, covering some history and explaining how Neuro-sama can work. Of course, this post is just scratching the surface, but hopefully it gave you a clearer understanding about how language models function and their history!
