Will silently slid into the sheets, and lay down beside Nico, who immediately rolled over into Will’s arms. 

“Its late, why are you still up?” Will softly chastised. Nico had gotten into the habit of staying up late waiting for Will whenever he had a long shift in the hospital. 

Though, to be fair, Will had no right to say that (as Nico often told him) as he also waits up late for Nico. 

Nico tiredly mumbled into Will’s chest, “I missed you.”

Will smiled, his heart melting at how adorable his love was.  “I missed you too.”

“No,” Nico looked up at him, sleep still present in his eyes, before closing his eyes again and snuggled closer (if that was possible), “I wasn’t saying it to you. I was saying to the cuddles.”

Will chuckled softly, half-asleep, Nico could still dish out things like that.  Gods he loved him. 

Will kissed the top of Nico’s head, “I love you.” “I love you too cuddles. Oh, and I guess you too Sunshine.” Smiling, Will fell asleep holding Nico. 

Life was perfect.
