Ford Pines x GN!reader headcanons!

I'm surprised it took me this long to get into Gravity Falls. Anyways this has both SFW and NSFW so beware. There's also a brief mention of being AFAB as a possibility but other than that it's completely gender neutral (I'm 99% sure, I didn't proofread too well lol).

Right off the bat, I’m saying he’s autistic because so am I and I said so.

If you’re someone who needs reassurance or is generally anxious/paranoid about anything he’ll go into long (often scientific) explanations to ease your mind and also throw in some fun facts.

Both a listener and a yapper. He loves nothing more than the sound of your voice but also loves being able to spout all sorts of things about his research and interests while you stare at him lovingly.

Can’t sleep unless you’re next to him. You don’t even need to be cuddling, your presence is just the one thing he needs to fall asleep.

That being said, he will NEVER pass up an opportunity to cuddle. Watching a movie? Cuddling. Working at his desk in the lab? Cuddling on his lap. Cooking something in the kitchen? He’s got his arms wrapped around you as he presses loving kisses into your temple.

He rarely swears, but when he does it always makes you do a double-take (and maybe giggle because it sounds so odd coming from him).

Probably tried weed once or twice in the '70s and was somewhat part of the psychedelic rock scene. Stan has some old photos of him during that time somewhere but Ford is absolutely mortified by the idea of you seeing him in bell-bottom jeans.

It doesn’t matter how long you two have been together, every time he sees you he feels the same as he did the day you two met. Ford will never stop becoming flustered at the sight of you.

Post-Weirdmaggedon he became very anxious at the thought of you being out alone or not being near him. He feels like he needs to be on guard at all times so that he can protect you. He eventually calms down after some reassurance from you and a fuck ton of therapy.

While he lacks some emotional intelligence he’s actually very attentive and knows exactly what you need when you’re upfront about your feelings. As long as you’re not vague and communicate, he knows what to do to help you.

Adding onto that, I think he briefly studied psychology in college so he’d have a pretty good understanding of any mental health issues you might have.

Said “No more Mr Nice Guy” one time and hasn’t heard the end of it from anyone.

Has to stop himself from cumming too quickly when you tell him how good he’s making you feel. Stroking his ego (and other things) is the best way to get him horny.

Will always ask you for consent no matter what it is. You could be mid-fuck and he’d still ask if he could put his hands on your hips.

This is just my personal headcanon but I believe while he didn’t really have too much experience before he got stuck on the other side of the portal (probably hooked up with Fiddleford once or twice tho), I fully believe that after a few years of dimension-hopping, he would’ve had a few one-night stands (mans gotta blow off some steam). So when he gets the chance to fuck you, a real human from his dimension, he’s more than ecstatic, especially since he’s picked up more than a few tricks over the past thirty years.

Since Ford was sucked into the portal in the early ’80s and spent thirty years in there, he’s super confused when you mention shaving down there or being embarrassed about your body hair (if you do either) since the last time he was around everyone preferred going all natural.

This one’s less sexy but I’m putting it here anyways. He avoided taking off his shirt for ages since he didn’t want you to see all the scars he’d gotten over the years or any of the tattoos related to the things he did in the portal, especially the ones related to Bill. Surprisingly not as insecure about his “Flirty Gal” tramp stamp.

Doesn’t understand that he’s ridiculously hot. 

You jokingly said “Yes sir” one time and he got hard so quickly.

Although he does rather enjoy you taking the lead.

I have lots of thoughts about this that I can’t reflect in a single one shot, so for now I’ll do some headcanons! However, it would be interesting to parallel this with a spin on Kurt’s 2004 solo series! So I will probably do something with that :) Obviously, I can do research, but I am in no way knowledgeable about the practices nor those who practice wicca or witchcraft. ⚜️ Kurt may be catholic, but his background is full of diverse people with different perspectives and practices!

⚜️ Scarlet Witch, his adopted mother, and his adopted sister all practice witchcraft, and he has a… well, decent enough relationship with all of them! But any of their spats have nothing to do with their way of life!

⚜️ He means well when he wants to drag you to mass Sunday morning. Really! He does! It’s something he’s done with every one of his friends by now, anyway, but it’s just that it’s a huge part of his life! He genuinely just wants you there! Sure, he can’t deny there’s always going to be some part of him that wants you to also be on some level of his own religion, but again, it’s from no place of ill will.

⚜️ After all, even though he has seen firsthand that this rule is relatively loose, I think it’s normal for someone in his belief system to worry whether their life partner will be able to join them in the afterlife :( He’s going to worry about it from time to time. He’s also definitely going to pray about it a lot. Take it in a sweet way— he just really cares about your love so much that he’s afraid it’ll have to end 🥲

⚜️ He also means well when he brings home various herbs and wildflowers he’s seen you use!! He probably even tries to make a cute little bouquet to present them! Obviously the source of said plants might not be ideal 😅 So maybe it’s time to expand a little garden! Plus, having a small garden if your preferred ingredients or offerings is a good way to teach him a thing or two in case he needs it (again), and he enjoys helping out in non-direct ways! Besides, gardening is a cute activity to do together 😘

⚜️ Speaking of which, while he’ll always be grounded in his faith, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t acknowledge everything around him! He’s seen demons and gods, magic and ghosts, heaven and… well, not hell, but you get the gist! So don’t worry, he knows well enough that not only what you do is real and powerful, but still a respectable craft. In fact, I’m sure he holds a deep respect especially if you tend to be one who thanks the Earth/ask permission for resources often. And you just might rub off on him! While he would be thanking God instead, it probably makes him more mindful of his everyday interactions with the environment 😌

⚜️ But because of his own beliefs, I’m sure certain practices or spells would make him nervous 😅 Because of this, if there’s a specific deity/god/goddess/etc you answer to/pray to that really clashes with his morals and beliefs, a relationship probably won’t last long.

⚜️ But just because some things make him nervous, it doesn’t mean he’s going to leave or anything. He might not partake in a tarot drawing or participate in certain things, but he still respects it and trusts you.

⚜️ But, uh, there might also be times when he’s literally in the next room holding the cross around his neck and praying aloud while you’re trying to do something 🤧 But this also works the other way around! Not only does it probably throw off either of your thoughts, but I’m sure it doesn’t help either of you when you both might be putting very different energy into the room rn 😅

⚜️ If for whatever reason you ever need something from him, like a bit of his fur, you probably have his permission already to just walk up to him with a pair of scissors! Even so, he usually asks billion questions 😒 So is it worth the hassle?

⚜️ While your beliefs and intentions may be different, you both might share quite a few daily rituals! Kurt won’t at all mind sharing the rug or the lawn with you if you meditate as often as he does. You both use it for similar reasons, really. It might even be both nice and interesting to have a conversation about any thoughts and experiences afterward 💙 Maybe, for once, you both found the answers you needed this morning and can share it :)

⚜️ But there are some other things he considers more “harmless,” so to speak that he does participate in. If you tend to journal things like dreams and daily experiences to cross reference later for any signs and such, he might do it too. Well- he’ll probably tell you his dreams or a reoccurrence he’s noticed (especially if it’s something that has been stressing him or maybe he’s just got a gut feeling he can’t explain) and see what you have to say about it! Just because you have different beliefs doesn’t mean he can’t find value in what you have studied and what you have to say!

⚜️ I’m sure many mornings he likes to drink teas with specific herbs and what they’re known for, and you might also partake in this! Of course, there’s probably much more intention behind the herbs you use, the way you prepare it, the way you stir it, but sometimes Kurt just likes to feel involved :)

⚜️ You don’t have to worry about him messing with any of your stuff! It’s probably out of both respect and paranoia, but he won’t mess with any alters or offerings or generally just the way you have your side of the room set up (though, probably after some gentle explaining here and there…)

⚜️ However, he may have a hard time with wanting to look at and touch any rocks and crystals… In a very respectful way, he just thinks they’re pretty and neat, okay? ;w; To be honest, get him one or two to have of his own that you think he needs when he’s stressed or when he’s out on missions. In ACOSF, it’s described that the Autumn Court has hair that vary from red to brown. And I know for sure the hair in Autumn has to be so diverse and colorful! We got:

Honey ginger and and carrot ginger

A super bright copper that has hints of pink. Idk if there’s an actual name for this hair color but I’m feeling a rich peach or something

The classic scarlet and ruby red

This super pretty dark red that’s almost purple. I believe it’s called chocolate cherry but I also like purple maple for the tree, because its leaves have a super similar color!

And the super pretty chestnut / mahogany that’s brown with red undertones

How and When They Say ‘I Love You’ for The First Time - Sanji

A/N: this is my first attempt at writing a headcanon, which I realize has turned a bit into a fic but here we are! I hope you all enjoy, I have a few more brewing!

Warnings: A bit of angst but that’s all

-He’s always been loud about his love, saying it at every chance he gets no matter who’s around or what the circumstances are.

-In those public moments however, you rarely say it back. Thinking his proclamations are merely his flirtatious self rather then actual confessions of love.

-It isn’t until you sit with him in the aquarium bar long after the crew has gone to bed on one of the rare nights Sanji is up late scribbling down his newest recipe in his personal cookbook that you know his confessionals are sincere.

-You had brought down a book with the intention of keeping yourself busy while he worked, but there was something about how level of focus that was fascinating to you. The way he held his bangs back so he could see clearly, how he would run his long, slender finger along his words so he could make sure they made sense before continuing. He hadn’t noticed the way you rested your cheek on your hand, eyes glued to him, a small smile on your lips.

-When he finally felt your eyes on him as he was reading over the recipe, he looking up and met your gaze.

-At first he was confused, why had you been staring at him. But all he could do was stare back, his gaze held by your stunning eyes.

-“God, I love you.” It’s not his first time saying it, but it’s the first time you really believed him. Not to say you didn’t believe him all the other times, but something about this time just felt so real.

-If you say it back, his entire face lights up. He shuts his tattered recipe book, capping his pen and pats the booth next to you “come here mon chou.” You slide your way around the velvet booth into his open arm. In the hundreds of times you had kissed Sanji, whether they were in your most intimate of moments or upon reuniting after an intense battle where you were just happy to see one another still standing, this kiss was by far the most passionate. His hands hold your face in place, as though he thought you might try to pull away before he had his fill. “Out of all the things I’m grateful for, meeting you is at the top of my list.”

-If you aren’t ready to say it back, he tries to mask his hurt. He knows how you feel for him, he can see it in your actions. But he can’t deny the stab in his chest at your inability to say it back when it’s just the two of you.

-You see the hurt in his eyes, the way he averts his gaze from you to avoid you seeing the way tears well along his waterline. He goes back his recipe book, acting like he’s writing something new, when in reality he’s going over words that were already there.

-He tries to shake it off, tries to start a new conversation but it falls flat.

-You try to apologize, explaining that you just need some time before you’re ready to say it. Whether it’s past relationships that have soured your meaning of the words, or there’s something holding you back from giving yourself fully over to this relationship it doesn’t ultimately matter.

-You excuse yourself from the table, pressing a long kiss to his forehead as you stand next to him and in that moment he can tell how you feel, that you do love him. The realization staves off his tears for the rest of the evening, but nothing can cure the pit in his stomach as he sits in the booth smoking a cigarette, and waiting until you’ve fallen asleep to come up to your shared cabin.

-As much as he knows it will hurt every time, he vows to keep telling you how he feels in those quiet moments until you’re ready to say it back to him.

Xenobio Extravaganza

(I am a massive xenobiology nerd, you have no idea the monster you've unleashed)

So I’m perpetually annoyed by the fact that Kryptonians look exactly like humans, have the same blood colour as humans, are reproductively compatible with humans, etc. despite being from completely unrelated planets

So I thought, what if Kryptonians developed a very mild form of shapeshifting as some kind of survival mechanism

So Kryptonian children slowly but surely grow to almost exactly mimic the dominant species of whatever place they grew up, or, like, the species they were raised by

So a Kryptonian raised by Skrull or Vulcans or wtvr would grow up to look like those species instead

It’s not a perfect explanation but it’s the first one that’s made any sense to me

Anyway, the illustration is just more of my headcanons on what remaining Kryptonian traits Supes might have, written in the style of Anatomy of a Metahuman, ie I tried to write it like these were Bruce's notes

Kryptonians produce far more varied pigments than Humans, and as such have a wider variety of hair, eye, and even skin colours: Kal has blue-pigmented eyes and hair a similar iridescent black as ravens and crows

Vestigial pointed ears, though what the ancestral purpose was, I can only guess

Kryptonians seem to have some similar membrane to the Tapetum Lucidum, giving Kal far superior night vision, though it must make it difficult for Clark to have his picture taken with flash

Very prominent canine teeth, Kryptonian ancestors were definitely meat-eaters, and his teeth seem to be actual bone, unlike humans

As muscle mass can only increase through repeated micro-tearing and healing during regular and strenuous exercise, Kal doesn't actually have that much bulk since he'd have to bench press an aircraft carrier every other day to "get big"

Lack of nipples would indicate non-mammalian ancestry, but the presence of a belly-button suggests Kryptonians were a placental species. The only alternative would be that Kryptonians lay eggs, which is...

...I have seen this man knowingly and willingly consume metal multiple times. I have no idea what is going on in here, but I fear asking him if I could get in his guts could be misconstrued. (Here's what inspired this point!)

From my translations of some Kryptonian texts, their society had wildly different concepts of gender than Humans, as well as indications that there was a wide array of how their biological sex presented. Perhaps my theory about egg-laying isn't so far-fetched...

Headcanon time, Jason Todd knew about Damian Wayne's existence before Bruce did and just didn't tell the man and we all know why.

Talia enters the room holding a baby, the baby is sleeping as he's holds on to his mother's hip.

JASON (wide-eyed): Is that a baby?

TALIA (nodding) : Yes.

JASON (worried): Is that... your baby?

TALIA (firmly): Yes.

JASON (panicking): Oh God, oh God! Is it MY baby?!

TALIA (frustrated): In your mind, he might be! But here in reality, we never had sex! I damn sure wasn’t about to do that while you were underage and insane. What kind of person do you take me for?

JASON (sheepishly): Well...

TALIA (cutting him off): I did NOT sleep with you!

Suddenly, the baby sneezes, startling Talia.

JASON (jokingly): Then whose baby is it? Bruce's?

Talia holds up her index finger and pulls out her phone, dialing her father.

TALIA (when he answers) : Father, the DNA test revealed Bruce is the father of my precious tifl, correct?

RA AL GHUL (sobbing): Stop reminding me of that!

Talia ends the call and looks at Jason smugly.

TALIA: There you go.

JASON (stunned): You and him... had him? And... oh my God. The supposed tough man who can never fold, folded for a booty call!

Jason starts chuckling, which quickly evolves into fits of laughter. He sits down, still laughing, while Talia taps her foot impatiently.

TALIA (offended): It was NOT a booty call! Our night of passion was unforgettable... especially since the condom did, in fact, break. Damn gas station contraceptives!

JASON (between laughs): You used the ones from the gas station? Oh God! You’re both idiots when it comes to sex!

Talia holds the baby, who has been quiet throughout their banter, close to her face.

Jason laughs harder, covering his eyes.

Jason wipes a tear from all the laughter.

Of course you can! but a lot of people like to say that he IS for sure. Because he interacts with male Jesse in a specific way but that’s not true.

The interactions between male AND female Jesse are the same. It just depends on the choices towards Lukas that you make itself!

Headcanons about Konig being the runt of his family? Like, his father is 6'10", and his brothers are all over 7 feet or something.

König loves his family, but seeing them after being one of, if not the, tallest at KorTac always throws him off. I personally think König is 6’10”/~208cm, so his family being taller, even by a smidge, is insane haha

all the height comes from his father’s side of the family, for sure. those genes are strong, especially considering his siblings. I headcanon König having an older sister and two older brothers, he’s the family baby. I could see his father being 6’11”/~210cm, König being just barely shorter than him

his oldest brother is coming up at a whopping 7’2”/~218cm. he’s ridiculously tall, even König can be put off by his eldest brother’s height. his eldest brother is really charismatic though, has a charming smile and smooth voice! he forgets how tall he is when he approaches people - sure, they have to crane their necks to look up at him, but he’s equally craning his neck to look down. the second oldest son is a flat 7’0”/213cm, total sweetheart. König and his second oldest brother are total mama’s boys. while König went off to volunteer for service, his brother stayed home. he eventually moved out, but is still in their hometown so he can help his mama around the house.

König’s sister is also considerably tall, a solid 6’1”/~185cm. while König’s brothers don’t tease him for being the shortest son, she will. she’ll poke at him, and he’ll poke back, “Hey, watch it, Kleine Dame.”. she supported König throughout his middle and high school days, wouldn’t hesitate to beat a kid up for picking on her younger brother (did fight someone once, their mama was not amused. their father was lol)

his mother is 5’5”/165cm, and bless her family, all the furniture is mostly suited to her height. it’s almost comical seeing everyone home for the holidays. as children, the furniture wasn’t necessarily an issue, but having her grown children moving about the house? and her husband? she feels a little bad, but König and his siblings throw a fit when she suggests new furniture! this is the furniture they grew up with, they’ll put up with squeezing together on the couch, don’t worry, mama

seeing their family walk around in public is a scene. people stop and stare, a couple double takes, as the four siblings walk around. König gets a little self-conscious, but his siblings laughing and talking helps to ease him. he’ll loosen up eventually, having a good time while his mama and father lead their little group to a local restaurant - the table and chairs a little too small for them, but the atmosphere is lively and warm

I love quote prompts and I really hope you do, too. when she sees someone else getting just a little too close to you, her lips press into a thin line, her eyes narrowing ever so slightly.

she doesn’t make a scene—not minji—but the way she sidles up to you, slipping her arm around your waist, says everything she won’t.

suddenly, she’s attached to you like glue, her hand never leaving yours.

and if you thought she was clingy before?

it’s nothing compared to how she holds onto you now, as if letting go would mean you’d slip away.

but the pout that forms on her lips is unmistakable, her foot tapping impatiently as she waits for them to leave.

the second they’re out of sight, though, she’s right there, tugging at your sleeve with a mix of frustration and vulnerability.

she’ll fold her arms, puffing out her cheeks in the most adorable way, and mutter, “you’re not allowed to let anyone else make you laugh like that.”

danielle is usually the most carefree, bubbly person you know. jealousy?

it doesn’t even seem like it’s in her vocabulary.

but when it sneaks up on her, it’s a quiet, almost shy thing.

she won’t say anything at first, but you’ll notice how she pulls back ever so slightly, her usual easy smiles faltering. danielle is all sunshine, but when she’s feeling insecure, the clouds start to roll in.

she won’t ask outright, won’t accuse you of anything, but you can see the way her gaze lingers on you, uncertainty flickering in her eyes.

the laughter isn’t as bright, her touches not as bold.

instead, she becomes quiet, distant, like she’s afraid she might lose you without even realizing it.

and the worst part?

she’ll try to hide it, not wanting to burden you with her feelings.

but once you notice, once you pull her aside and ask her what’s wrong, she’ll melt.

haerin is the silent type, always observing, always thinking.

when she gets jealous, you almost wouldn’t know—almost.

she doesn’t make a scene, doesn’t throw tantrums or pout.

instead, she just watches, her eyes sharp as she quietly takes in every interaction you have with someone else.

her expression remains neutral, but there’s a tension in the way she moves, like a panther ready to pounce.

she’ll slip closer to you, her fingers brushing against yours in a way that’s so subtle, yet so possessive.

haerin doesn’t need words to show you how she’s feeling—her presence is enough.

she stands just a little too close, her gaze never leaving you, as if she’s reminding you, without saying a word, that you belong to her.

haerin doesn’t need to make a big fuss, but when she’s jealous, she’ll make sure you never forget where your heart belongs.

hyein is the youngest, but when she gets jealous, she acts like she’s years older, her voice sharp and demanding as she pulls you aside.

“who was that?” she’ll ask, her eyebrows raised, trying to act all serious and mature.

but you can see right through her.

she’s still the playful, dramatic baby you know and love, even when she’s pretending to be tough.

she’ll follow you around, refusing to let anyone else get too close, her hand firmly in yours as she shoots glares at anyone who dares even glance in your direction.

“you’re mine, no sharing,” she’ll declare, her voice full of mock authority, but the way she clings to you like a kid with their favorite toy betrays her real feelings.

and when you finally laugh and call her out for being so possessive, she’ll just huff, crossing her arms as she pouts.

but underneath all her dramatics, she’s still soft, still the sweet hyein you know.

“people think eddie’s gay because of his bad relationships with women and that’s problematic” is honestly the most bad faith interpretation of why people headcanon and/or think of eddie diaz as queer.

the way his relationships with women have been is a factor in some of those headcanons (especially when discussing compulsory heterosexuality but that’s a whole different can of worms) but it’s far from the only one and it’s not even the main one for a lot of people, it’s just one of the easiest to point to. (esp the way eddie and ana were written, imo, however not so much with marisol and the whole kim situation, which is clearly about shannon and how he needs to get over this big bump in his life, but i digress).

i just get tired of people deciding everyone who thinks there’s a good case for eddie being queer must be Problemtic™️ or only thinking about their otp or whatever.

the fact of the matter is some queer people do have really complicated shitty relationships until they come to terms with their sexuality and it isn’t problematic or harmful to say that. hold people accountable, for sure, but people - even queer people - are complicated and messy and confused and shitty and implying that it’s problematic or even homophobic to headcanon/think of a messy, complicated, confused, broken person as queer is, quite frankly, offensive.

also it’s so interesting to me that it’s problematic to think Dating A Man might do some good for eddie, if he’s queer, but it’s okay to think dating tommy has helped to heal some parts of buck, that figuring out this part of himself actually did help heal him.

because shockingly, figuring shit out about yourself can help heal you.

it’s the same problem i have with people talking about eddie’s isolation and how some of the discourse around that makes me feel weird because why is the only way for eddie to heal to be isolated away from everything he loves but that’s never been the case for literally anyone else on the show.

idk man. some double standards exist around eddie and it’s weird. if you don’t think eddie is queer that’s fine but it’s insulting to trying and twist queer eddie headcanons into some kind of problematic thing because some of us actually relate to him and the reasons why we think he’s queer are because of that. so.

For the bachelors, I headcanon Shane as the oldest and Sebastian as the youngest (just barely younger than Sam)

For me it’s Shane (early 40s), Harvey (late 30s at youngest, likely early 40s), Elliott (early to mid 30s), Alex (mid 20s), Sam (early to mid 20s), and Sebastian (a few months younger than Sam). Shane and Harvey are pretty close in age (maybe two years apart max) to me.

Alex is the odd one out for the bachelors with no one super close in age to him but honestly he’s the healthiest physically of all the bachelors (Shane probably sees Alex all fit and healthy and thinks “man I remember when my body wasn’t failing me, what a time” and then gets up and his back and knees crack uncomfortably). Harvey is probably next after Alex, then Sam (skateboarding is physically taxing so him being fit makes sense to me), then Elliott (I can see him doing light exercise everyday just to make sure he gets some movement in), then Shane (lifting boxes at Joja plus helping on Marnie’s ranch will at least make sure he has some exercise), and then finally Sebastian, who I’m pretty sure hasn’t ran or done anything physically active since the equivalent of high school gym class.
