Cow Fortress 2! An AU where all the Mercs are Cows!

Here's what Cows The Boys would be:

Offense Class

Scout = Jersey Cow (with a tiny bit of Charolais thanks to Spy)

Soldier = Red Angus

Pyro = ??? (Speculated to be either a Rarámuri Criollo or a Caracu)

Defense Class

Engineer: Texan Longhorn (obvs)

Heavy: Kalmyk Cattle

Demoman Black Scottish Highland (I mean, c'mon)

Support Class

Medic: Black and White Holstein-Friesian

Spy: Charolais

Sniper: Droughtmaster (that was adopted by a Murray Grey couple)

I've seen people make art and aus for the concept so I thought I would ramble a bit about it myself as well....Gloom Link

Instead of Raru's arm saving him, he falls into the depths and gets further covered and surrounded by Gloom. However Link is stubborn, very stubborn, he adapts. Like many of the monsters in the depths he instead gets stronger, however he refuses to listen to Ganon's attempts to control him. It makes him angry, he sees Ganon and the Yigas attempts to pretend to be Zelda to trick him and it only pisses him off. Due to having the spirit of the hero within him, he isn't just able to adapt to the Gloom, he's learning how to wrestle control of it out of Ganons hands.

Blood Moons make him stronger now, and he's able to use gloom based weaponry without consequence. However he needs to cover up heavily if he plans on going up to the surface, the sun now hurts. And using the Master sword is painful. His eyes glow sometimes. Getting the Master sword from the dragon of light (zelda) nearly killed him. The dragons tears weakened him whenever he found them, but he needed to know what happened to her. He makes deals with the Bargainer statues in the depths and the Horned God statue in the hidden castle passage ways. He fears approaching Hylia statues right now, especially after what happened with the dragon of light.

It took him some time to get the broken master sword to the temple of time. He gained the Pruha pad later than intended. He is unable to enter Zonai shrines at all, and if he could activate them entering them would likely harm him. I doubt the shrines programming could tell the difference between him and Ganon at this point.

Link spends most of his time in the depths, not wanting to hurt those on the Surface with him being a walking source of gloom. He can basically see in the dark at this point.

I like the trope of someone creating the being who seeks out to destroy them, and in Ganons case the longer he exists and spreads more gloom the stronger Link gets

Link can fucking teleport through gloom puddles like a splatoon character. He can, in late game, take control of gloom covered enemies or gloom created enemies like the hands. Why not ride a Lynle?

He becomes a sort of camp fire horror story for those on the Surface who weren't made aware of his situation. The Yiga however always seem to know about his status at all times, oh he's covered in gloom now you would think that would make him easier to find in a crowd.

He tends to wear the depths set when on the Surface. While it was originally designed to resist gloom it works well for resisting the sun as well. And that's because it covers him up completely. Keeps others from being affected by his gloom immediately as well. He tries and avoids entering settlements, because of the gloom. When finally getting into contact with Pruha he was mortified at the concept of entering larger busy towns and villages. But if he can help people he will. Like many chosen heroes before him, he's willing to destroy himself if it means the safety of those around him.

He only tells/shows his close friends what happened to him. Like Pruha, Robbie, Impa, and the sages. And of course after everything is said and done with, Zelda. If he remains gloom covered after defeating Ganon he will probably retire to the depths. He has a feeling that will be what happens.

He becomes a bit bitter from his situation. He becomes extremely stubborn and spiteful. Extremely angry towards a certain person. Feelings isolation and questioning reality. He's not angry or bitter at Hylia, only Ganon and what fate decided. He's not angry at how people on the Surface see him, maybe sad perhaps.

I think it would be interesting if Link managed to befriend some of the Yiga. I also think it would be funny if he accidentally got a small following because of this. Not what he wanted at all when he helped by giving people bright bloom seeds and stopping them getting attacked by gloom covered monsters by just making them freeze in place. He kinda see why that happened now actually, the freezing gloom covered monsters in place probably did that. They've seen him ride a gloom covered Lynle he's not convincing them to stop following him around like lost puppies is he?

He can still fuse things, it's just a different process and he has to be near gloom. He can descend, ascend, and go just about anywhere as long as there is gloom nearby. The lifting things and creating objects is something he invented himself with the use of gloom, using gloom hands to lift things and using gloom like glue to create things, gloom needs to be nearby for this to work effectively.

Even if he's covered in gloom, and his mind is cloudy and his emotions and mood changing because of it, he would still be Link. And he is inherently a self sacrificing guy, who would destroy himself to save hyrule and Zelda. He would be able to tell a fake Zelda from the real one, and he would be more easily upset at them trying to trick him and those he cares about. He probably zones out easier, takes him a bit to come back down to reality. He can easily go into auto pilot while traveling and just wander. His usual strategy of bottling up his emotions isn't quite working as well as it used to. He battles stronger monsters like Lynles just to calm himself down at this point.

Ok I'm three chapters in on this one, here's an excerpt while I try to figure out how this tumblr thing works?

"You gotta put me in, coach," Eren says, legs shaking uncontrollably on the bench, as if he was struck by lightening and the burst of energy chose to find shelter in his veins. 

"No fucking way. Your stupidity already did enough," Levi says in a rare display of anger. 

Their master plan started to crumble the minute Eren arrived with the complexion of a deranged man, unable to stop jumping up and down, eyes almost popping out of their orbits. Not even Hange was able to hide their horror upon hearing he had gulped down the entire bottle of their home-made "energy drink" – as they chose to call it –, even though he had been thoroughly warned to only ingest a small dosage of it every day for adaptation. Now they got fucking Marlo in the field and, sure, he's not the worst, but he's certainly not up to the task, either. 

"I can outrun anyone in this field right now," Eren says, jumping up from his spot and trying to contain his indomitable limbs. "Put me in , I'm serious. We're already losing, what's the worst that could happen?"

"I mean," Connie considers. "He has a point".

"He's in no shape," Mikasa intervenes, frowning. Sweat makes her dark hair glint in an oddly endearing way. "His heart is already working in overdrive, and his limbs can collapse from exhaustion at any moment". The team stares at her, and she tries her best to stand her ground as a scientist instead of an overly protective… friend. "This can end badly ".

"So I'll run these last fifteen minutes until they decide to stop," Eren retorts, still only looking at Levi.

"Mikasa is right," Mina says. "Putting him there is insanity".

"PUT HIM ON THE FIELD!"

A sudden bellow is heard right behind them, coming from the eavesdropping seagull mascot. Levi almost drops his clipboard. 

"Thank you, bro!" Eren taps a fist to his chest twice before pointing at him, and Floch's gloved hand reciprocates the gesture over his feathery outfit. Everyone rolls their eyes. 

"Fuck off , seagull!" Levi moves to scare the atrocious bird away, and Floch runs off to meet the rest of the cheerleading front. 

"Are we high right now?" Sasha asks in a quiet voice.

nothing going on between them, like two people who care about this little child who was like orphend or something and they take on the 'mom' and the 'dad' roles and its not like kinda sad when the kid says to their teacher; 'my mom and dad aren't married' cause like be it queer platonic, two people who've known each other scene this kid's age - they have like one night stands with people outside the little main character group, maybe half way through the story one of the character's girlfriends comes into play and she's like talking to one of her friends and shes like 'yeah it was kinda weird at first cause my gf and her boy best friend are and have been taking care of this seven year for the past, what, like 5 years? the kid's really sweet though and my girlfriend and i just helped him (the best friend) with his marriage proposal to his SO, so im not really worried tbh', or three roommates what are just. roommates.

it dosnt have to evolve into something romantic, and while it can (and thats another cute trope but not the point -), i think its fun when things arnt romantic

So, umm, I know I’ve just posted a while ago, but I had this good idea for an AU, so I’m going to make the au.

So while thinking of gifts to give, I remembered about a project idea I had having to do with scrap paper. I quickly wrote it down on my whiteboard so I wouldn't forget, and when I looked at my drawings of welcome home, I thought 'why not make up an AU about this?'

So, I kind of did-

I haven't made any designs for, but I was thinking that Welcome Home wouldn't be a puppet show, instead being a stop-motion type of show? Think of how Fuzzy Felt Moomins is stop motion if that makes sense?

But they probably would use paper or paper-dolls I don't know very well

Now, what does the scrap book paper have to do with this? They would use some of those papers for characters- I really like this au idea but I won't be able to make it yet because 1. I don't have scrapbook paper, and 2. I need some free time to be able to make them. If I'm able to make it, it would probably be rarely and maybe called "Patterns AU" or something?? This sounds very goofy and not very good because I'm bad at words so I'm very sorry-

THE MYSTERY TWINS ⇆ THE ORIGINAL MYSTERY TWINS

Stanley and Stanford Pines take on the roles of Dipper and Mabel! Stan's curious and is the more mystery focussed one whereas Ford is more energetic and active than his base counterpart.

Stanley is an adventurous young boy, looking for the next interesting trip to go on, initially thinking spending the summer at Levity Rises was going to be a waste of time. Though after arriving and finding the scrapbooks alongside the anomalies happening across Levity, he and his brother quickly became obsessed with finding out the secrets of the Rises, as well as who the mysterious Smile Pup(swapped with bill cypher) is.

Ford (often going by 'Six' or 'Sixer) is a happy go lucky and optimistic young child who is alot tougher than his base counterpart was at his age. Since it's typically only just been him and his brother, so he's eager to make the best of his summer by meeting new people, though he hides his polydactyly with gloves he changes frequently.

DIPPER ⇆ STANLEY

Dipper takes the role of Grunkle Stan in this au!

Owner of the mystery shack, Grunkle Mason- or (Big) Dipper to people around Levity Rises- is the resident faux scientist of the town. His personality is more eccentric, tending to get hyper fixated on paranormal paraphernalia, to the point in where he does lock himself away for periods at a time.

Not much is known about his origins, he just kind of always existed on the outsidea of the town, but after opening the shack to the public, people quickly accepted his presence due to his quirky personality.

MANLY DAN ⇆ SOOS

Dan actually takes the role of Soos in this au, being the resident handyman of the mystery shack! Though often the lines blur between his role and Wendy's from the original. Wanted to keep it flexible yk?

Dan's a real dude's bro, pretty dim witted and blunt but often chill and level headed- Unless he's challenged- dude's competitive as hell, it's actually crazy. His mother, dubbed 'womanly wendy', is the toughest lady in town, owning a diner, aptly named 'Wendy's'.

Dan enjoys working at the Shack as it's one of the few places that'll let him freely experiment with his logging with the nearby trees for his own projects and adding fixtures onto the shack, which Dipper is pretty thankful for since he can focus his efforts on other things. It's also because of this reason that Dipper puts up with Dan's outbursts and semi airheaded personality. So it's safe to say, he's there the majority of the time.

Stan admires Danny alot and the events of 'Into the bunker' happens with Dan in place of Wendy. This does mean Stan had a passing crush on Danny during the episode, but even afterwards Stan kind of puts him on a pedestal. Ford enjoys Dan's company often being called 'little man' and playfighting on occasion. The twins act like his little hype men and he enjoys hanging with them.

As for Soos in this au, he initially built the mystery shack and is frequently seen around Levity Rises taking on odd jobs and making people as happy as they can be, though it's implied that he hasn't found his true calling yet.

LAZY SUZAN ⇆ WENDY

Lazy Suzan takes the role of Wendy in this au! Hazy Jane is a part time worker at the mystery shack, and is stan's first crush upon arrival to the Rises. She's a bit of an odd soul with a less than perfect memory, but is incredible at making a homely environment for the shack. Despite that, she can be extremely co-dependent in some situations, especially with her boyfriend. Otherwise she's earnest and does her best at her job. The events of 'Soos and the real girl' occur with Jane instead of Soos (and Rumble instead of GIFanny). Despite wanting to help, Stan is incredibly pouty throughout the episode.

I think the Batfam acts differently outside of Gotham than they do in Gotham

They’re more intense in Gotham, lean more heavily into the cryptid/eldrich horror thing. They move in a way that’s not quite human, their words are just too close to chirps and whistles.

Outside of Gotham they behave like normal humans, well as normal as they can be with all their training.

This leads to theories that they’re all pretending to be human but because Gotham is their home or because of all the cursed/supernatural things there they can’t hide their own supernatural nature aswell. People also believe this is why they’re more aggressive in Gotham.
