The last third of ch.37 was so fuckin eerie and tense and visually rich that I couldn't NOT make some art inspired by it. I've been hankering to draw something more experimental and dark lately, and this really scratched that itch!

i think what we need to consider about people who wish ao3 had likes/dislikes/algorithm/extra kudos is that they've never used another archive in their life. they've had no reason to search jstor for anything. no one is teaching the kids about internet archives. do they even know about archive dot org

Miles Morales Batfam Crossover WHEN?

I've tried looking for a dark matter style crossover but with miles morales and what have i found, NOTHING??? I had some hope guys.

He would be PERFECT for a crossover fic, let that be comic miles or spiderverse miles , and you can modify the story anyway you want to make it fit in your timeline.

He is a punny kid, so many puns the batfam would die with him because thats THEIR THING- Dumb puns, in the spiderverse.

Like come on, name me a teenager, a young teenager, with no guidance at all about being spiderman (in the movies) and sure he has parents but they don't know and he is ALONE. (starts with an M)

And also he goes to school in JERSEY- guess who lives in NJ- THE BATFAM? THATS GOTHAM

There is so many ways to make it fit.

Also imagine the angst from being in a universe (if we ignore like a lot of spiderverse) and then suddenly you are 15-16 getting thrown into a different universe a nobody trained you for the worst case situation and you are clever enough to survive, but your parents must be worried sick.

And please do not give me just Duke Thomas and Miles Morales friendship, Miles bonds with ALL the family.

Dynamics i want to see ? 14-15 yo Damian wayne with Miles, Duke with Miles. BRUCE AND MILES THE POTENTIAL? two geniuses, a genius all grown and all with his issues and this meta kid who also needs guidance and has spunk.

hii so i wrote my first rpf story!! it's nortrell (with norstappen), 8k word oneshot, rated E, and i've posted it on ao3 for any who are interested!! while max verstappen is not physically present for the story, he is quite present in the narrative, i would say haha. the original outline of the story was much sharper but it all ended up being sweet, i really think nortrell is really just like that 🩷

How do you feel about people binding personal copies of your works?

I have been reading Lof, and you are such an amazing writer that it blows my mind. When Lof is eventually finished, I would absolutely love to (with permission and loads of credit to you) bind a hardcover copy for personal reading . Reading through this fic has been such an emotional journey and I would love to be able to hold a physical copy. I was also thinking about incorporating some of the beautiful art you've done of the story into the pages of a book, that way the art was next to the scene you were reading. Again to be super clear this would just be something I'd make for myself to read, no monetary gain and tons of credit to you for the story and art!

Completely understandable whatever your answer may be, just wanted to ask your thoughts and let you know how much I've loved your writing!!

yeah that's perfectly fine!! i'm so glad you love LoF enough to do something as sweet as this, that's so amazing to me!! i'm fine with people binding their own copies for personal use- as long as no one is trying to use websites that could get LoF into trouble (i.e. trying to sell it, or paying for it, etc) then it's all cool with me!

I would really like to read one piece of writing, amateur or not, that features Apollo and Zeus having a positive relationship. One. Any one. It could be 30 words long for all I care. I just need confirmation that one other writer actively producing content in the Greek Mythology sector doesn't think of Apollo as Zeus' toy, sexual or otherwise, or of Zeus purposefully surpressing Apollo because he doesn't want him to surpass his power, or of Apollo only being obedient to his father over all else because of fear and physical abuse, or of any other reason possibly invented except some sort of mutual understanding and respect.

It should not be this difficult to find content where they do not hate each other.

That's me. I wrote a good, thought-out fic. I planned the plot and the subplots and made them connect. I wrote an outline to avoid inconsistencies. I perfected each characterization to even the OCs. *heavy breathing* rEAD MY FIC-
