🙂 Turning Music into a Gentle, Adaptive Practice While Living with Chronic Fatigue (ME/CFS)
🌿A Gentle Reminder Before Reading This post contains 38 sentences. If you have brain fog or limited energy, please take your time. You don’t need to read it all at once—just absorb what you can, when you can. If you find something helpful, pause and rest before continuing. There’s no rush. This is meant to be supportive, not overwhelming. 💙 Turning Music into a Gentle, Adaptive…

Gettin' Through the Holidays Mental Health Tricks
If y'all are anything like me, this time of year is triggering AF. Here are some small, very easy grounding exercises that I was taught by my therapist, basically in order of how much I like them for this rage-inducing season. You make like them in a different order, depending on your rage-to-despair ratio.
Push a wall: literally go up to a wall and try to push it over. Really try. I promise you won't push it over, but give it your best shot. Try to hold it as long as you can, and then take a breather and assess whether you need to repeat. Why it works: This is a quick, physical expulsion of the fight-or-flight feeling. It's a bit like punching a wall, but without the potential to hurt yourself/look scary/damage things. You can even do it in front of people and say you're stretching, they'll never know (unless the wall actually falls down, but this will not happen, I assure you).
Shake like a dog: Animals shake to release stress, and you are also an animal. Setting aside time to just shake it out, as vigorously as you can, arms and legs, face, stick your tongue out, pretend you're shaking like a wet dog. You can dance instead, if that feels better, and you can do this to music, but basically the more unhinged you can be, the better. If you are in a place you can scream, scream too! Why it works: like the above, this is a release of pent-up stress and anxiety. Especially if your rage-to-woe ratio is high, some kind of physical exertion is often the best way to burn through the cortisol and adrenaline you're building up.
Bilateral Tapping: Cross your arms over your chest so that your fingertips are at your shoulders, and slowly tap, one hand at a time, back and forth, for about a minute. Breathe slowly. Why it works: This is weird as hell, but because this engages both sides of your brain, it helps override the activity of the amygdala, which is the part of your brain that Makes The Fear. If you're being literally triggered in a situation, i.e. you're having a trauma response, or reliving some family trauma, this is a good one.
Box Breathing: From a comfortable position (can really be seated, laying down or standing), inhale slowly for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4, exhale for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4, then repeat. You can do it for shorter counts or longer counts, but if you vary the counts make sure the exhale is longer than the inhale. You can close your eyes or leave them open. Why it works: This exercise helps you move from a sympathetic (activated) nervous system response to a parasympathetic (balanced) response. I do this one every day, and it's a good gateway to meditation. Especially helpful in anxious or tense situations, but I find if I'm very triggered I need one of the other ones first, or it can make anxiety worse. Breathwork is amazing but not usually as a first exercise if you're very activated, or have been activated a long time.
Ice: Lots of ways to do this one – hands in cold water for 30 seconds, ice pack on the back of your neck, dip your entire face into a bowl of ice water (this one's the most effective). Why it works: I kinda think this is hilarious, but this activates your mammalian dive reflex. It immediately slows your heart-rate, so if you are feeling your blood pressure and heart rate rising, this one is very good. The only reason this one's at the bottom of my list is because I hate being cold.
I wish you all a very get-through-the-holidays-without-hurting-yourself. Take time alone if you need it.

˖ ִ𐙚 Holotropic Breathwork + Hypnagogic Hallucinations 𝜗࣪˖
Tumblr media
HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK
"Holotropic Breathwork is a therapeutic breathing technique that uses rapid, controlled breathing and music to create an altered state of consciousness."
The process bypasses your analytical mind and taps into the subconscious, often bringing up suppressed emotions, vivid imagery, or even spiritual insights. It’s often used for self-discovery, emotional healing, and connecting more deeply with your inner self.
Tumblr media
HYPNAGOGIC + HYPNOPOMPIC HALLUCINATIONS
Hypnagogia and Hypnopompia are transitional states of consciousness that occur during the process of falling asleep and waking up, respectively.
Hypnagogia is experienced as you are falling asleep. It often happens when you’re extremely tired or sleep-deprived, such as after staying up late or napping during the day. In this state, you may not fully fall asleep but instead enter a semi-conscious phase. During hypnagogia, people can feel as though they’re “dreaming while awake.”
Hypnopompia, on the other hand, happens as you are waking up. You might not fully regain consciousness and instead linger in a dream-like state. In this phase, you may feel as though you are simultaneously awake and dreaming, struggling to differentiate between the two. Similarly, people can feel as though they're "awake while dreaming."
These may involve visual, auditory, or tactile hallucinations, and sometimes even a sensation similar to sleep paralysis. Both phenomena occur because the brain is transitioning between wakefulness and sleep, creating a blend of conscious awareness and dream-like perceptions. While they can feel disorienting, these experiences are a natural part of how our brain processes the sleep cycle.
Tumblr media
Routine combining both methods:
Step 1: Get Comfortable
Lie down (preferably) in a quiet, dimly lit space where you won’t be disturbed.
Close your eyes and relax your body.
Step 2: Breathwork to Relax (2-5 minutes)
Breathe in deeply through your nose for 2 seconds.
Exhale out through your mouth with a gentle "ha" sound.
Repeat this rhythm, focusing on how your body feels lighter and more relaxed with each breath.
Step 3: Focus on the Darkness
Let your breathing return to normal.
Shift your attention to the darkness behind your eyelids.
If you see shapes, colors, or feel sensations, let them happen naturally.
Step 4: Affirm and Intend
Silently or softly affirm your intention:
“I am pure consciousness.”
“I am shifting now.”
Stay calm and trust the process as you drift deeper into the void or shifting state.
Step 5: Let Go
Allow yourself to fully relax, knowing that you’re transitioning.
If you feel close to the void or shifting, focus on staying calm and open.

tantric sex??? | (hyung line)
ot8 reactions | bf!skz x reader au genre: crack | spicy (light smut) warnings: language | suggestive content a/n : okay so i kept seeing those tantric yoga/sex imagines posts and i was like wow this is so cool, so deep and sexy… so i wanted to make my version of it (and ruin it). ur welcome and i’m sorry. namaste. ✧ hyung line | maknae line (coming soon)
Tumblr media
bang chan
“wanna try something new tonight?” “sure baby. anything” “cool. it’s tantric sex” “...sounds hot.” “it’s more about connection, patience, breathing...” “still sounds hot.” he smiles. pure. supportive. trusting. like a fool. flash forward that night : you’re in candlelight. the lights are low. soft music playing. you’re sitting on a yoga mat. he’s opposite you, sitting like a confused cat. so you say: “let’s just start by breathing together.” he nods. deep inhale. deep exhale. okay. cool. he's got this. he can do breathwork. 20 minutes later : his back hurts. his thighs are tense. his dick is yelling in australian: oi mate wtf is this??! and you haven’t TOUCHED him once. he’s been hard. your silk robe has a vendetta against his sanity. his fingers are twitching. you scoot closer, straddle him gently, place your hands on his shoulders. “just breathe with me baby” he does. he nods. he’s trying. but inside???? BRAIN : "this is a cult" "she tricked us" "you wrote a whole song called ‘railway’ and now you can’t even move" "when do we get to SEE A TIT" “you’re doing so good” you whisper. his dick twitches. he’s about to ascend or explode. maybe both. you rest your forehead against his. he breathes in. you breathe out. he bites his lip. “baby” he rasps “are we… gonna… do anything?” you blink “we are doing something” “no like…” he gestures toward your chest. then your mouth. then down “doing doing. not… aura syncing” you giggle “this is connection” “i’m connected to pain” you roll your eyes. “can i just… kiss you?” his voice breaks on it “like just... lips. anything.” so you finally kiss him. and he moans LOUD. he grabs your hips. “you sure this is tantric? this isn’t just edging for monks??” you laugh so hard you nearly fall off his lap. he’s breathing heavy. flushed. sweaty. horny. existential. you pull him down gently onto the mat. cuddle into his side. “thank you for trying something new with me” “yeah” he croaks “next time let’s try something with more thrusting and less... deep breathing”
lee know
“it’s about breathing and connection” you explain softly “and the sex part?” he asks, already suspicious. “it’s slow… controlled… we don’t even have to touch at first” he stares “so it’s emotional blue balls.” “minho” “cool. got it. can’t wait.” the next night : ten minutes in, you're sitting cross legged, eye contact locked, barely touching. your breathing syncs. your heartbeat calms. you whisper “can you feel the energy between us?” he nods. deadpan “yeah. it’s horny.” you giggle and gently adjust your posture then you close your eyes again. “minho, just let yourself be present.” “i am present” he mutters “presently waiting to ruin you” you move to sit in his lap, your foreheads pressed together now. he breathes in. then out. then you breathe. soft. quiet. and he? he leans close to your ear, whispering: “...i could’ve made you cum twice already.” you choke “MINHO” “just saying. in case we forgot what real sex feels like” you try to push through. try to keep the vibe going. but now he’s full menace: “you’re sitting wrong. straighten your spine” “what kind of breath was that? are you okay?” “you’re blinking too much. are you even present?” “my legs are numb. is enlightenment supposed to hurt??” you hit him with a pillow. he smirks. “we done? can i finally show you how i do spiritual connection?” you sigh, melting into his lap “fine. but next time we do it right” “next time we do it naked. and with biting.” post mindblowing sex: you’re both sprawled out on the mat, sweaty, glowing, exhausted. you're panting “that wasn’t very tantric of you” “it was transformative” “you lasted two minutes before flipping me over” “exactly. i connected with my true self. he’s feral” you throw the robe over his face. he just pulls you closer.
changbin
“i wanna try something new with you” he perks up immediately. eyes big. voice deep. eyebrows wiggling. “yeah ?” you grin “tantric sex” … his brain : "something SEX. keyword : SEX" he nods “hell yeah.” has absolutely no idea what that means. he googles it on the toilet later. reads: “meditative sensuality that transcends physical climax” his brain stops processing after “sensuality”. sex. with extra steps. got it. fast forward to that night. you’re sitting across from him. candles lit. pillows on the floor. the vibes are peaceful. sensual. you’re in a silky robe. he’s in gym shorts and an oversized tee he’s already hard. literally just from you lighting a candle and smiling. you press your palms together, eyes closed “we’re going to focus on our breathing. connect spiritually” changbin nods "and then you ride me?" "no binnie. not yet. just breathe with me.” he obeys. one breath. two. three. he peeks open one eye. ...you are still not riding him. 20 minutes in. you’re on his lap, straddling him, foreheads touching, both of you just… breathing. he is sweating. hard. “you okay, baby?” you whisper sweetly. “no” “why not?” he grips your thighs “i am experiencing psychological warfare” you giggle “this is supposed to be relaxing” “your robe keeps slipping and your boob is RIGHT there” he stares at it like it personally ruined his life “where’s the SEX” he explodes, hands flailing dramatically “you said tantric SEX. i haven’t even gotten to suck on a titty.” you gasp “changbin??” “this is like...emotional blue balls” he groans. you try to calm him down “it’s about delaying gratification. like building tension. connecting.” “i AM connected. i’m connected to my suffering.” you fall over laughing. he glares at the ceiling. you finally kiss him. slow. lingering. he groans into it like an animal. you tug at his shirt. he gasps “…is this the sex now?” you nod. he moans and pounces. collapses on top of you like he's been starving. “never again” he pants “that was worse than leg day” you grin “but now you’ll last longer” “babe. if i don’t nut in 0.2 seconds after all that, it’s a miracle”
hyunjin
“we should try tantric sex” you say one night, mid cuddle, in your softest tone. hyunjin’s like: “ooh… exotic… i’m listening?” “it’s about breath, connection, presence...” “mm sexy presence” he nods “...slowing down, feeling the tension…” he grins “baby. my middle name is tension” ...it is not. the next night, you set the mood. candles. soft silk. music that makes your chakras hum. he shows up like it’s foreplay time hair tied, wearing his “i’m hot and vulnerable” robe that shows off his chest. “i’m ready” he says. “let me be your spiritual slut.” “we’re not touching yet.” “??” “we’re going to breathe together” “okay. okay sure. breathing is good. sexy even” ten minutes in, you’re sitting cross legged, eyes closed, hands barely grazing. hyunjin? he’s glistening. not sweating. glistening. his lips are parted. chest rising too fast. he makes a tiny frustrated whimper every third breath. “you okay?” he nods. quickly “just really connected right now.” “aw <3” him: internally shrieking you’re peaceful. soft. glowing. “…am i allowed to blink?” “yes” “okay but your robe’s open a little and my soul left my body” “breathe, hyunjin” “i am breathing. heavily. because i can see your boobs.” you give him a look. he adjusts his posture. shuts up. tries again. you move to straddle his lap. place your forehead gently against his. he gasps. you whisper “stay in the moment.” he nods again. vibrating like a purring cat “this is good” you whisper. he whispers back “this is torture” “baby” “i wanna kiss you so bad my soul is clenching” you giggle. he does not. he looks haunted. twenty five minutes in: “baby.” “yes?” “i love you.” “…i love you t-” “can i lick your neck. please. just once.” “no!” he whines “okay but can i imagine licking your neck.” “hyunjin!” “in a spiritual way!” at minute 30, you shift on his lap and he gasps LOUDER. he’s on the verge of tears. “i’m trying so hard” he chokes “but your aura is sitting directly on my dick and i’m starting to see colors” you crack. laughing. hard. he pouts “why are you laughing at my tantric journey?” you cup his cheek “because you’re insane” “i’m passionate. and hard” finally, after an hour of breathing, near touches, and spiritual blue balls... you kiss him. his soul leaves his body. you feel the relief in his whole being. he kisses back like he's possessed. or like he just crawled out of the desert and found water. he mutters between kisses “never again” “but wasn’t it-” “NEVER. AGAIN.”

I asked chat gbt to give me ways to enter both the void state or shift realities during the day. Shifting and inducing the void are not limited to when you’re sleepy. I struggle with only inducing the void during the time I go to sleep but with these possible methods I plan to induce the void or shift during the dayyy!!!
First, just so we’re aligned:
• Reality shifting usually refers to consciously moving your awareness into another reality (like a desired reality, alternate version of your life, or fictional world).
• The Void is that infinite nothingness — a dark, silent, powerful space where you can manifest instantly, heal, or shift realities easily. It’s pure awareness, no body, no mind.
Doing it during the day is a little harder because you’re not sleepy/dreamy but not impossible, it’s actually really easy! You just have to tweak your techniques for waking mind energy.
Ways to Shift or Enter the Void During the Day
Micro-Meditation Drops
• Throughout your day, practice micro-drops into stillness.
• Example: Set a timer every hour. When it goes off, close your eyes, breathe deep, and “drop” your awareness backward into your mind imagine falling backward into black velvet nothingness.
• Do it for 30–90 seconds at a time. Over the day, this conditions your mind to find the void state faster.
Think of it like “training wheels” for sudden immersion.
Saturation Method
• Focus obsessively on your desired reality or void state all day — but softly, like background music.
• Whisper affirmations like:
• “The Void is my natural home.”
• “I enter the Void instantly and effortlessly.”
• “I am already in the Void.”
• Every action you do (walking, eating, typing), imagine you’re already in your desired reality.
• This builds a saturation effect where you “tip” into the shift naturally.
You’re basically blurring the line between your normal day and the other reality.
Mirror Gazing / Daydream Gazing
• Sit in front of a mirror (or even a blank wall or window) during a sunny, sleepy part of the day.
• Stare at your reflection without blinking much, or past it.
• Relax your eyes and imagine your face isn’t “you” it’s just a mask.
• Let your mind slip into daydreaming.
• Suddenly, you may feel a “slip” — like you’re detaching from this version of yourself.
It’s like triggering a soft disassociation which can lead to a Void portal or shift jump.
Tumblr media
Breathwork + Eye-Roll Technique
• Do slow, deep breathwork:
• Inhale 4 counts
• Hold 7 counts
• Exhale 8 counts
• After a few minutes, gently roll your eyes upward (like looking at your third eye) while staying relaxed.
• This can force your brain into a theta/void-like state even during full daylight.
• You might feel lightheaded or “floaty” — that’s a good sign you’re nearing a void pocket.
The “Already Shifted” Illusion
• Instead of trying to get somewhere, pretend you already shifted this morning and today is just a “memory” of your original life.
• Every time you remember you’re “trying,” stop and say mentally:
• “I’m just remembering the old timeline. I’m already there.”
• It tricks your brain into syncing with the new reality field without brute force.
Shifting is all about convincing your subconscious — not pushing or forcing.
Music Frequency Entrancement
• Listen to brainwave entrainment tracks (Delta waves, Void-themed subliminals, deep solfeggio frequencies like 528hz or 963hz) while doing light tasks.
• Wear headphones if you can.
• Let your mind drift while you do chores, walk, or relax in sunlight.
• Sometimes, you’ll naturally slip into a void state without expecting it.
Daytime Nap “Drop” Method
• Lie down in the afternoon with the intent to nap, but don’t fall asleep.
• Instead, keep your body completely still (like a body scan meditation) and let your mind drift without controlling it.
• If you feel your body getting heavy, floaty, vibrating, don’t move — you’re entering the threshold where void shifts and reality jumps happen.
Signs You’re Close to the Void or a Shift Mid-Day
• You feel extremely floaty or weightless.
• You hear ringing in your ears (like a frequency change).
• Time feels weird (minutes feel like hours or vice versa).
• You get “pulled” backward or inward in your mind.
• Your body feels like it doesn’t exist anymore.

As a therapist and an enjoyer of characters who should go to therapy, here’s what I think the Bad Kids would be like if they actually went to therapy.
Riz: Fidgeting SO HARD. Sometimes seems to love a fidget toy so much that you tell him he can keep it. You keep buying more fidget toys just for him. Every week his GAD-7 is a 19 and when you ask how he’s feeling he says, “Great!”
Fabian: Surprisingly easy. Instant rapport, responds to softballs like “do you think maybe you feel that way because your parents put a lot of pressure on you” as though they were profound revelations.
Gorgug: Does not take his headphones off, somehow completely present and engaged even though you can literally hear his music.
Adaine: Extremely impatient with the process. Wants to learn 5 cool tricks for not being anxious anymore and then bounce. Becomes accusatory when it isn’t “working” after a few sessions.
Fig: Spends the first 12 sessions alternately trying to shock you, asking increasingly specific questions about your reporting requirements (“would you have to report it if I murdered someone? what if a friend’s dad gave me drugs?”), and asking questions about the therapist to avoid talking about herself.
Kristen: Breathwork every single session. Major Crisis of the Week vibes. Reliably drops a huge bomb that changes everything in the last five minutes of session. (Fun fact: some therapists call this “door handling”.)

DMT breathwork video to enter the void
This morning after I got up and fed the cats, I felt like going back to bed to meditate. I looked through some of my saved videos for inspiration and decided to do a breathwork video. I have practiced breathwork on and off since around 2018 and I highly recommend it for overall wellness and nervous system regulation, but in the past few months I’ve seen it recommended many times to enter the void or shift.
Wim Hoff style breathwork is the one I’ve seen recommended, but I just could not get over the guy’s overhyping cartoonish-sounding voice 😭 So a few months ago I found this YT breathwork teacher Breathe with Sandy who has Wim Hoff style guided videos. His voice is sooo soothing, his audio/video production and sound mixing are top quality, and the dude really knows what he’s doing!
He published this DMT breathwork video on Christmas and since then I had tried it a few times and enjoyed it. I figured I would do the video and then queued up something to chill out to afterwards.
youtube
This kind of breathwork is pretty intense tbh, and I thought there were only 3 rounds, but there are 4. When he said we were starting the 4th and final round I thought omg another one 😭 I need a break for a sec. So I just stopped the breathing pattern for a min and zoned out.
Next thing I know I can’t feel anything, can’t hear the music or Sandy’s voice, can’t hear the loud brown noise I have playing in my room. Holy sh!t did I really just enter the void that easily!? Yes, yes I did 😭 I was so startled and surprised that I couldn’t even feel my headphones or hear anything that I snapped my awareness back to the room to hear the video again.
But omg y’all I wasn’t even trying or affirming for the void cuz I figured I would after the video ended. I’m so shocked it happened so quickly and easily. Next time ima not be so shocked and actually affirm for something 😭
So my fellow void seekers, give this video a try and see what happens. If you’ve never tried breathwork before it can be really intense, and you might need to practice a few times before you get the hang of it. But if you’re someone like me who overthinks and gets too impatient with traditional mediation, breathwork might be the way to go ✌️
Note: “breath retention” means holding your breath. Wim Hoff style breathing, what Sandy uses in this video, does the breath retention on the exhale - when the lungs are empty. The style of breathwork I learned from Tony Robbins and a trauma-informed breathwork coach Samantha Skelly does the breath retention on the inhale - when the lungs are full.
I don’t know the reasoning behind either style, but I prefer to do the breath hold when my lungs are full and that’s what I did this time too.

Holotropic breathwork and shifting
Tumblr media
Disclaimer! Do not try holotropic breathwork if you have heart problems or certain medical conditions. Always check with a professional. Also, be aware: if you have trauma, this breathing can bring it up to the surface. Please use caution.
Tumblr media
1)What is Holotropic Breathwork?
Holotropic breathwork is a powerful breathing technique combining deep, fast breathing + evocative music, aimed at reaching altered states of consciousness.
It was developed by Stanislav Grof for therapeutic exploration.
Tumblr media
2)How is it practiced?
✅ Usually lying down in a safe space
✅Eyes closed
✅ Breathing in a circular pattern: deep inhale, deep exhale, no pause (Yes you will look like a warthog)
✅ Keep the pace steady and intense(About 2-3 seconds of very deep inhalation and 2-3 seconds of very deep exhalation)
✅ Usually lasts from 20 to 60 minutes
3)What music or sounds to use?
-Tribal drums
-Shamanic beats
- Emotional film music
-Even nature sounds
-> Anything immersive, repetitive, with no sudden stops
This helps push you deeper into trance.
youtube
youtube
youtube
Here are some examples of what you can listen to.
4)How can this help prepare for shifting?
Holotropic breathwork:
-lowers mental resistance
-weakens the “critical filter”
- triggers ego dissolution
-expands your sense of possibility
-reduces anxiety
-leads to discoveries about oneself
-can soothe or remove blockages.
All of this can prime you for a smoother shifting experience.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5)How to use it to your advantage before shifting?
Treat it as a preparation ritual:
→ Release pent-up emotions
→ Calm your nervous system
→ Open up your subconscious
-> After finishing the session, you can go straight into your shifting script, visualization or method.
6)What to do during holotropic breathing?
-stay open to sensations
-if you feel tingling, buzzing, or emotion rising, let it happen
-don’t panic, just breathe through it
-you can mentally remind yourself of your DR intention gently, but don’t force it, you can also gently affirm.
7)Effects on the body and mind
You might feel:
-vibrations
-muscle twitching
-tears or laughter
-heat or cold
-a sense of floating
-mental images, memories or even visions
-> This is normal! It means your subconscious is opening.
youtube
youtube
You can also listen to subliminals if the rhythm of the sound allows it.
8)Meditation before or after
Doing a grounding meditation before or after the breathwork can help integrate the experience.
→ Before: it calms fears
→ After: it helps process any emotions released
I also invite you to drink a glass of water afterwards, it is possible that you will sweat a lot.
youtube
youtube
This kind of short meditation before or after can really help.
9)Not mandatory, but helpful
Holotropic breathwork is not a shifting requirement.
But it can help remove subconscious blocks and relax your emotional body, making shifting or void states easier to approach.
10)Dissociation & practice
This technique naturally encourages dissociation, which is helpful for many shifting methods.
-> It might feel intense at first, but you’ll adapt if you go slowly and build up over time. You can start with just a few minutes and gradually increase,I personally find that the most intense effects occur around 20-30 minutes.
11)Final thoughts
Holotropic breathing isn’t for everyone, but if you want a deep reset of body + mind before trying to shift, it can be a powerful ally.
Practicing once or twice a week can really help:
→ It gently trains your mind to let go of your daily identity
→ It supports healthy dissociation
→ It can clear subconscious blocks
→ It improves your ability to stay calm in altered states
-> In the long run, that can boost your chances of shifting by up to 30–50%, especially if you combine it with visualization or scripting after the session.
For everyone who tried it and want to, give me updates.
Happy shift

😴💤YOUR 12H SIGN: How You Fall Asleep and What Puts You To Sleep 😴💤

Why is the 12H connected to sleep?
The 12th house is associated with the subconscious mind, places of confinement or isolation, and activities that involve withdrawal from the external world.
When we fall asleep, our conscious mind becomes dormant, allowing the subconscious to take over. This state enables our hidden emotions, thoughts, and dreams to surface as we enter the oneiric realm.
During sleep, our minds process and integrate experiences from waking life. This process requires isolation, withdrawal, and relaxation, resonating with the themes of the 12th house. Additionally, our dreams often serve as a pathway for unresolved issues, hidden fears, and repressed thoughts to manifest. Dreams act as a space where we confront these hidden aspects of ourselves, symbolically connected to the themes represented by the 12th house.
Knowing this information, you can tap into your 12th house sign to improve the quality of your sleep and to gain greater insight as far as what activities make you doze off.

ARIES
- Unwinding and releasing energy with physical exercise, such as going for a walk, working out, running, or doing yoga earlier in the day. (Mars rulership and its connection to physical activity)
- Stretching before bed. (Engaging in exercise before bedtime can be counterproductive; therefore, stretching can be a great alternative)
- Doing controlled breathing exercises like box breathing or diaphragmatic breathing. (harnessing Mars energy to unwind)
- Practicing grounding exercises or engaging in a grounding guided meditation before sleep. (Can balance the restlessness of the fire element)
TAURUS

Witchy hacks: The movement of your body.
You probably heard this phrase too many times, but it is important to keep your body moving not only to increase your physical health but to improve your mental health too. But there is more. The movement that our body can make can actually release energy, and it can give us a lot of boosts in many ways.
In spirituality, movement is often seen as a way to release, channel, and harmonize energy within the body. Different spiritual traditions and practices emphasize various types of movement to achieve these goals. Here are some ways energy is believed to be released through movement in spirituality:
1. Yoga
a. Asanas (Postures)
Energy Flow: Yoga postures are designed to open energy channels (nadis) and centers (chakras) in the body. This facilitates the free flow of prana, or life force, enhancing physical and spiritual well-being.
Grounding and Balance: Specific poses help ground the practitioner and balance the flow of energy, aligning the body with the earth and promoting inner stability.
b. Pranayama (Breath Control)
Breath and Movement Coordination: Coordinating breath with movement helps regulate and release energy, purifying the body and calming the mind.
2. Tai Chi and Qigong
Chi (Qi) Flow: These ancient Chinese practices focus on slow, deliberate movements combined with deep breathing to cultivate and balance chi, the body's vital energy.
Energy Circulation: Movements are designed to enhance the circulation of chi through the meridians, or energy pathways, removing blockages and promoting overall health.
3. Dance
a. Ecstatic Dance
Expression and Release: Ecstatic dance involves spontaneous, freeform movement that allows individuals to express emotions and release pent-up energy. It’s often accompanied by rhythmic music that guides the flow of energy.
Trance States: The repetitive nature of dance can induce trance states, facilitating a deeper connection with the spiritual self and the collective energy of the group.
b. Cultural and Ritual Dance
Ceremonial Movements: Many cultures incorporate dance into spiritual rituals to honor deities, celebrate life events, and connect with ancestors. These movements are often symbolic, representing the flow of spiritual energy.
4. Martial Arts
Energy Control: Martial arts like Aikido, Kung Fu, and Capoeira involve movements that cultivate and direct internal energy. Practitioners learn to harness this energy for physical strength, mental clarity, and spiritual growth.
Mind-Body Connection: The discipline and focus required in martial arts enhance the mind-body connection, aligning physical actions with spiritual intent.
5. Breathwork and Movement
Holotropic Breathwork: This practice combines intense breathing with movement to access altered states of consciousness and release stored emotional energy.
Rebirthing: Involves rhythmic breathing and movement to release traumas and blocked energy from the body, leading to spiritual healing and transformation.
6. Shamanic Practices
Drumming and Movement: Shamanic traditions often use rhythmic drumming and dance to enter trance states, journeying into spiritual realms to retrieve knowledge and healing.
Ritual Movements: Specific movements in shamanic rituals are designed to summon, direct, and release spiritual energy for healing and transformation.
7. Meditative Movement
Walking Meditation: This practice involves slow, deliberate steps coordinated with breathing, enhancing mindfulness and the flow of spiritual energy.
Dynamic Meditation: Developed by Osho, this form combines vigorous movement, including shaking and dancing, with periods of stillness to release suppressed emotions and awaken spiritual energy.
Summary
In spirituality, movement is a powerful tool for releasing, channeling, and harmonizing energy. Practices like yoga, tai chi, dance, martial arts, breathwork, and shamanic rituals use specific movements to enhance the flow of spiritual energy, promote healing, and achieve higher states of consciousness. These practices underscore the profound connection between physical movement and spiritual well-being.

Astrology insight on Health & More. Pt 3
*Please not that these are my personal observations and research, not coming yet from a professional opinion*
Now let's get started for Gemini Placements!
Tumblr media
---> Body parts ruled by Gemini is... *drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁* --- Throat, Lungs, Breath, Hands And Nervous System!🎶🎶🎶 I, for one, share Gemini/3rd house/Mercury placements in my chart and I can say this with guarantee, these natives love singing, music, might be into Yoga/Meditation/Breathwork, have problems around lungs and breath, are into writing/journaling, intelligent, sharp, multitask, flaky with plans, have a hard time being consistent, are the definition of "too much on my plate*, love learning, into literature, into learning different languages just for fun, have a good sense of humor, might be too faced, have good communication skills, etc.
---> A very important tip I would like to give any Gemini/Mercurial placement native is to journal, write and record audio about whatever is going on, if you would like it to be about your goals, do it. Visions? Absolutely. About feelings? Yes, the best for it. These natives need an outlet to express themselves, similar to their sister sign (Sagittarius), they require freedom of expression of their thoughts. These natives can also be expressive through their hands and might have a loud voice.
---> You by now know I love co-relating Astrological signs with Chakras, so let's mention Mercurial/Gemini/3rd House placements with the Throat chakra. These natives when imbalanced, can get stressed which would result in a strain of their voice, throat infections, hand injuries, could be burned out with their overthinking, might have a shortage of breath, headaches are prominent, might be prone to drinking problems if the chakra is imbalanced or have a fatty liver.
---> These natives always prefer to thrive in a social environment (Subject to change based on other aspects in the chart). They need people to express themselves, their battery gets recharged around people and open areas. They might prefer to go to a library, book store, cyber café or have a study table to focus on their work.
---> The best way to balance your Gemini placements is to learn new things, read and write and be honest with your own self. And remember to do what you like, don't push yourself to be someone you are not and let your humor & joy come in your daily work. Express yourself through your voice and hands. One ick I have noticed in these people are being told to not speak too much - they can't help it, it's literally out of their personality. You enjoy talking and speaking, but learn to listen as well.
---> When undeveloped, these natives always have a tendency to omit the truth or have many personalities according to what other people want them to see as. These natives get bored easily and have a hard time settling down or being consistent with what they do. I say they are more indecisive than libra placements at times. They carry mutable energy, of course they prefer unpredictability and excitement than safety and security.
*Listen, If someone is going to cheat, they will cheat, a placement can indicate it but otherwise it cannot say for sure. People are people, learn to discern them for who they are as well as what is in their chart, balance is key*
--->There is a chance that Gemini natives can cheat if in a relationship that they find themselves being bored off or distinct, but mostly they would prefer to have casual flings/dates or be friends with you first before getting in a commitment. They like the Friends to lovers trope, and usually words of affirmations is one of their love languages, along with a sense of humor. They enjoy spending time with people who can reach their vibe and their light hearted moments. A thing with these natives is the duality comes from this side as well - humor and seriousness. Chances of extremeness is there to a certain extent.
---> Having a Air modality, one of the best things these natives carry is being adaptable to situations and learning to see things step by step. But a difference they carry from their sister sign is that these natives learn to see the next step instead of the bigger picture. They prefer to take the journey on the go rather than as a whole. You work out situations when they appear in front of you, rather than remain constantly over the destination. Think "live in the now" personality with "we'll see how it goes".
---> One thing I always forget to add is that dissociation is common with these natives. You would see them so lost in what they are thinking or speaking without a stop. Often times they don't even realize what they are doing. And Most Gemini placements are nerds, could be into Anime, Dramas, Super Hero content, comedy shows, etc. Sincerely, coming from someone who has Gemini placements who loves k dramas, anime, animation, digital art, online writing this post, and more.
---> Most Gemini Placements are also found to be active on media about their life, memes, vlogs, sharing their opinions, about their work, etc. This depends mostly where these placements are placed in your chart. They might also have to be careful of putting everything out on social media though.
--> Tarot Card associated with them is the Lovers - Hence why we as readers sometimes also say that when the lovers appears in a reading, this could mean you also have many choices In love coming up or even in relationships.
Examples: I have this placement in my chart, specifically I have Moon in Gemini in 7th house - when I tell you I have such a hard time trying to sit down for something serious I be like not today lol but something like astrology always makes me effortlessly work on it and I have vast knowledge on the subject. I also decided it would be "fun" to learn Korean & Japanese in the middle of my exams 💀✋. I personally also have pets and y'all... when I say the dissociation is real with me. I like learning, it challenges me to be better. I do love reading and writing too (I think most of you can see it as seen by my post right now...), especially romance as a genre is something I have always enjoyed. I also have this at the 14 degree (degree of Taurus) so I do like doodling a lot while I am writing, and the way I am in love with making this in a beautiful format... I also like dressing comfortably when exercising. Another example of this is with Priyanka Chopra's moon in Gemini, which is also conjunct her ascendant in Gemini - I personally also relate to her on so many levels. Definitely someone who enjoys humor and likes acting in dynamic roles. She is someone who speaks often about social topics as well, is active on media about her opinions, and motivates people ahead of her life. Now her moon is in 13 degree (degree of Aquarius), meaning she does have a unique way of expressing herself. And ir makes total sense why she speaks to motivate othets aka serve humanity throught speech. She also speaks multiple languages and enjoys humor as well. With her Ascendant conjunct her moon, her first appearance of her being witty, funny, sarcastic, cool persona is her true emotional side. She also likes expressing her vulnerability in an artistic format.
One more example with Gemini placements is the one of Chris Evans with his Gemini Sun in 7th house conjunct his mars in 7th house - No wonder there is always a connection with someone through which he finds his fame at, and vice versa. I definitely can see why he pulls off so many roles, and also why he played Captain America in the Avengers Film so well - his character famously known with his love interest Peggy Carter, as well as known for the love/hate realtionship between Robert Dowry Jr.'s character Iron Man aka Tony Stark. He also has been known to be with many partners but he does care about them deeply. He is a prankster who loves humor and his timing is just chef's kiss. His work is very important to him, and he does really well in comic roles in general, or being known with someone on screen. And his voice is also something that carries such a charming nature... definitely the 7th house's impact along with mercury in cancer.
Other examples are Octavia Spencer, Marilyn Monroe, Tom Holland, Jennifer Lawrence, Jake Gyllenhaal, etc.

Dear To Whom This May Concern,
Hi so quick question if I may....but how would one soul search without no car and are working and attending school and are in a toxic household?
That’s a powerful question, and we deeply understand how challenging it can be to embark on a soul-searching journey while feeling stuck in a toxic environment. True self-discovery isn’t just about physically escaping—it’s about finding clarity, balance, and alignment within ourselves, even in difficult circumstances.
Here are ways to soul search when mobility is limited, and life feels overwhelming:
1. Create Mental & Emotional Escape Routes
Even when we can’t control our environment, we can create moments of peace within it. This could be:
• Journaling our thoughts and emotions as a form of self-reflection.
• Using music, meditation, or breathwork to ground ourselves.
• Engaging in simple rituals—skincare, reading, or morning affirmations—to cultivate inner peace.
2. Journaling & Self-Reflection
• Ask: What truly fulfills me? What do I need more (or less) of in my life?
• Write letters to our future selves to stay connected to our vision.
• Practice shadow work—exploring fears, limiting beliefs, and deepest desires to better understand ourselves.
3. Seek Growth Through Learning & Exploration
• Read books on personal development, spirituality, or wellness.
• Take self-discovery tests (Enneagram, astrology, MBTI) as tools for introspection.
• Explore interests that excite us, even if they don’t directly relate to school or work.
4. Set Boundaries to Protect Our Peace
• When dealing with toxicity, disengaging can be an act of self-care.
• Limit exposure to negative energy by creating small, sacred moments for ourselves.
• Prioritize mental well-being by not internalizing others’ projections.
5. Build a Support System
• Connect with communities (online or in-person) that align with our values.
• Seek out mentors, coaches, or trusted friends who uplift and inspire us.
• Remember: We don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
6. Take Small Steps Toward Freedom & Alignment
If the goal is to eventually leave, slow progress is still progress:
• Start saving—even small amounts add up.
• Research scholarships, job opportunities, or supportive living arrangements.
• Visualize our future, manifest our dreams, and take aligned action when possible.
No matter how challenging our circumstances are, our inner world is always ours to cultivate. Growth, healing, and self-discovery are still possible—even in the midst of chaos. We are rooting for you.
