DICK RARE PAIR CHALLENGE MOD

DRPC Mods keep @dick-rarepairs up to date. Therefore, you need a Tumblr account you use regularly to apply. A Discord or Twitter (X) account is required too because Tumblr only supports group chats on the app.

📝 A Blog Mod’s main tasks include:

I have seen, multiple times, people saying that Bruce took away all the evidence of Joker having killed Jason to, either, protect their identities and so himself, or the Joker himself.

Well, I needed something from A Death in the Family for a fanfic I'm writing, and I came across that moment talking about Bruce removing the evidence. And, lo and behold, y'all lied.

Bruce removed the evidence because he was planning to kill the Joker and he did not want the justice system to be involved. He thought it was his responsibility to end the Joker and to bring justice to Jason, his son. This is also the same reason for which he didn't told Dick about Jason's death later (It is told to us that Bruce wants to do this ALONE when he refuses to tell Dick), because he knew the young man would want to get involved and would probably stop him from killing Joker. Also, Bruce admits to Clark that the only proof he has that Joker did it is Sheila's dying words, and he later has to confront the Joker to be sure, so the evidence he got rid of probably did not point toward the Joker enough for him to be arrested. Anyway, Bruce nearly broke his hand by punching Clark when Clark told him Joker had immunity. Like, don't underestimate how much this man loves Jason.

Bruce: The cops continue their search for the cause of this tragedy, evidence I've already removed from the scene. Let them write it off as an accident. There's no reason for them to be involved. This is a personal matter. It's something the Joker and I should have settled between us a long time ago.

Bonus: Bruce telling Clark the Joker killed his son after Clark tells him he learned about Jason's death.

Clark: (the panel before) I read on the Telex about your ward, Jason Todd, being killed in an Ethiopian warehouse fire. Was he Robin?

Bruce: Yes.

Clark: I'm sorry to hear that. He seemed like a really nice kid.

Bruce: He was. Jason was the best. The Joker murdered him.

One summer to make you mine

An event to celebrate Damian and Dick's relationship for the shippers' side of the fandom.

When?

The event will run from June 21st to September 21st, in other words, the whole summer.

How?

Every week four prompts would be given. A fifth one would be voted every week. Send us prompts via our ask box!

What is allowed:

Any fanwork that focuses on the romantic feelings (unrequited or not) between Damian and Dick. Any AU, any rating.

For each week, how many prompts do I have to include in my fanwork?

Only one prompt is required for a submission to count. However, if you’d like to include more of them, feel free to do so! Every prompt added to a week will give you 5 bonus points.

Is there a minimal requirement for the submission?

Fanfic: 1,300 words

Fanart: Cleaned piece.

What do I get if I manage to fulfill the 13 weeks?

You can request a DamiDick fic tailored for you at the end of the event (130 points)

Is it biggy if I skip a week?

You aren't committed to doing the thirteen ones. You are free to participate as much or as little as you like. Every submission gives you 10 points. You can earn points by fulfilling other challenges proposed during the event.

BIRDFLASH WEEK 2025!!

Birdlfash Week 2025 is finally beginning!! Prompt submission is opening RIGHT NOW!!

First up though there is going to be a few differences from last year. First of all, the SFW and NSFW ones will be more separate, with different forms for each. This means if you're under 18 you just have to ignore the "After Dark" parts of this week. They will have the same collection, but different submission parts.

Also, each day has a theme this year. We're hoping that everyone will submit prompts that follow each of the days' themes. They've all been given to be broad and fun. A couple of them are specifically selected to follow the real-world events that are happening on those days. The after dark week shares some of the same themes, but also others that are specifically for NSFW idea ;).
