Xinvir: A gender identity that is male and/or male-aligned, but is entirely xenine, rather than masculine. It can also be described as a someone who is miaspec, but is xingender, rather than mingender. It only refers to the gender itself and may or may not be related to one's gender presentation.
Tumblr media
Xinlier: A gender identity that is female and/or female-aligned, but is entirely xenine, rather than feminine. It can also be described as a someone who is fiaspec, but is xingender, rather than fingender. It only refers to the gender itself and may or may not be related to one's gender presentation.
————————————————————
These terms are highly based on the already existing term Neuvir, which is similar but is connected to being gender neutral rather than xenine.

Genderfluid micro label of the week: Gendersilkie
Tumblr media
Gendersilkie is a form of genderfluidity. Gendersilkie people can be fluid between any genders, but they are never male or masculine genders, unless these genders are also woman-/feminine-aligned. This can for example encompass female, feminine genders, unaligned genders and xenogenders. Gendersilkie is a combination of genderfae and genderselkie, and it's specifically for xenogenders and uncommon genders. Gendersilkie is the counterpart to gendersilen.

How do you start gender hoarding? I know that it might sound like a stupid question, but you see, I live in a place where trans people and nbs are looked down upon but lesbians and gays are ok. (rural Australia)
I felt weird coming out to my bf as a demigirl( I am AFAB) and he knows I’m a furry, but doesn’t know about my alter humanity (questioning therian)
So my view of gender is very “traditional” and where I live there’s only really female, male, trans and (very rare) nonbinary. I also have highly suspected autism/ self diagnosed yet I don’t see gender in a way I hear people with autism do, probably due to my upbringing
I want to know from a person like you who knows the “newer” ways of gender how I should gender hoard and not stick myself to just the traditional genders
its not a stupid question at all!! ill do my best to answer! so i identify as agender transmasc. agender goes under the trans umbrella and nonbinary, but i dont see myself as gender neutral i just have no gender. now going more into the transmasc, just means i feel more masculine. doesnt really effect the way i present my gender any differently, hmm i guess i dont really know how to explain it. i dont understand the concept of gender, i dont understand a lot of social constructs, i honestly think its sort of unneeded. my gender is complex in the most noncomplex way, its vast and its tiny. ive made my own genders based off of feelings and intrests, i think thats the best way to get started with genderhoarding. making your own ideas, analyzing yourself. (personally its helped me become more aware of who i am!) imaginationnnnn!! creativity!! make something up, no ones stopping you! the way i view gender is its what makes you, you. it doesnt have to make sense to anyone but you. it doesnt have to make sense! some of the things i tie in with my gender are the rustling of leaves in a forest, fog in the early morning, large fields, chaotic music, soft stuffed animals, the smell of pavement after it rains, soft piano music, acoustic guitar, the moon some of those things are real different!! and those are some of the things that i view my gender as! i think its a lot easier too with the internet, theres a ton of people who have similar ideas and interests so they also make genders, sexualities, and flags to go along with them.
i have a board on pinterest that i frequently add stuff to, i could link it here if you would like! i also save just anynthing that pops up if it remindes me of my friends or it seems cool. it doesnt mean i identify with it, but its cool to read about them! i keep track of them in a notebook as well!! my genders relate to my hyperfixations, mostly. Hyperfixations and anything that i can relate too! ex. horrormasc: a masculine aligned horrorgender. fits both definitions (1: a horrifying/all over the place gender, and 2: a gender related to different horror genres) raingender: a xenogender connected to the rain scenekid/scene neutral, oldwebemoic, onlineboyic, endspacic etc, etc. dont feel rushed at all to tell your boyfriend! when i started feeling more comfortable telling people, i made sure to have articals pulled up to read, notes etc. so it would be easier to sort me thoughts? get it out more smoothly. i also wanted to talk about self-diagnosing!! i hear so much negative about it, but honestly, its good to research and try and find out things about yourself. that my opinion. and not for longterm, just for a bit until you can get evaluated. gahhhhh self diagnosing is valid and it makes me so mad to see people who think its not. granted, some people to just see a couple things and "oh yup got that" but when you really spend time looking at signs, symptoms, traits it can be very beneficial in the long run, and also just to check before you go get evaluated also i apologize if this is insanely long, or if it makes no sense. im sleep deprived, im trying to fall asleep gahh i hope this helped even a little bit!! if you want me to expand on anything or explain anything further feel free to dm me!

Nonbinary Xipgirl/Girlxip
A refers to someone who identifies both as a xip, a girl and non-binary. This can be for several reasons, including but not limited to:
Being xenine and female-aligned, xenine and female-related, or xenine and feminine-aligned nonbinary
Being bigender or otherwise multigender with at least one gender being xenine and female or related to xenine and female
Being a non-binary person who identifies partially as a xip and a girl (demixip/demigirl).
Being genderfluid primarily between xenine, female and non-binary.
Being gendervast and having a gender that can be described as non-binary, female and xenine.
Having a gender that is similar to, but not the same as, xenogender and binary female
Being a Xipgirl/Girlxip feeling a disconnection to the gender binary
Being a nonbinary xip but feeling comfortable with She/her pronouns and/or a feminine presentation, and calling oneself a girl to express that association.
Being a nonbinary girl but feeling comfortable with neopronouns and/or a xenine presentation and calling oneself a xip to express that association

hii! could you coin something similar gendersylph/genderselkier/genderfaer? but like fluid between mostly xenogenders and outherine genders, female/female related genders, male-aligned/masc genders/miaspec genders, but never specifically 100% a binary man, and sometimes feminine genders? ^_^ thanks
EDIT : what you're describing might be described by genderselkier !!
Aaaaa I'm not sure I feel fully confident doing this?? I rlly want to follow the line of the genderfluid system. What you're asking for prolly already exists even? Here's all I could find?? Which aren't necessarily what you asked for, but it tells me maybe it already exists!! So I'll try to find it, if not, I'll try to coin something. :33

Weirdfluid (coining post)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
a fluid gender that is abnormal in terms of common genderfluid identities or could be considered a "weird" genderfluid identity. could also be considered a mix of genderfluid and genderqueer.
weirdfluid can apply to any/all gender alignments and can be used by anyone with a fluid/flux identity who feel they resonate with the label.
(the flag is based on the genderfluid and genderqueer flag)
purple (#9871fe): binary, male/masculine, female/feminine, and androgynous identities
green (#18d62c): neutral, nonbinary, and abinary identities
yellow (#ffe479): xenogender, microlabel, exclusive and any other uncommon identities
white (#ffffff): genderfluid, genderflux, multigender, and demigender identities
black (#000000): uingender, genderless, and questioning identities

im a non-binary + girl multigender (so technically entirely and completely a nonman) but my preferred body is one with testosterone just cause i think beards are fun to have. anyway the "nonman" communities are Not very friendly to me lmao even tho im literally non-binary and a girl & present super feminine (albeit in a kinda campy way cause I'm not really female, just Girl (xenogender)). not even male aligned or whatever. so yeah it's like. pretty transparently just transphobic and trying to turn feminine afab enbies into "tomboys (but we think of you as women)" and anyone whose presentation is too "unsavory" gets lumped into "men" and shunned.
Beards ARE fun, you're so right
Yeah, the man/nonman binary is actually a fun and progressive way to say "woman or nonbinary person who I view as Basically A Woman" and "person who is too masculine for my comfort so I have forced them into the category of Evil Man."

spaciaselenian
Somebody who is, in terms of the Galactian Alignment System, both spacialian and selenian - i.e. both xenic/xenogender-aligned and woman-aligned. This could mean "xenic-aligned woman", but it can be any gender that one sees as having those alignments. This is separate from cometian (spacialian and lunarian) because lunarian can mean feminine or female-aligned, and this gender specifies female-aligned.

Hi, so, you seem like the kind of person I should go to for this kind of thing.
I recently made a friend at my new high school who is autistic and uses all these weird terms and pronouns that I don’t personally really understand, I was hoping you could give me a decent understanding of what they talk about when they say they go by xenopronouns or age regress. I really want to be a supportive friend, but I don’t really understand.
How do I support my autistic friend?
OMG! I’m so happy you came to me for this. A lot of people (including but not limited to allistics/neurotypicals) have trouble understanding certain terms or what they mean or certain concepts and so on that autistic people use.
Look no further sweet children here I am to explain a ton of terms‼️ So all those definitions and explanations under the cut! Hope this helps!
Disclaimer: Some of the terms listed are NOT exclusively linked to autism. Some are. They’re just terms that are commonly used. HOWEVER. some are directly linked to autism and can’t be used by people without neurodivergencies. Thanks!!
lets start off simple. Xenopronouns!
These are commonly used by neurodivergent people who don’t feel like any kind of “normal” genders fit them, or that normal gender identities like male, female, nonbinary, etc, don’t exactly make sense to them. (I use xenos too!)
here are some examples of xenogender flags:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Catgender: A gender relating to or feeling aligned with cats. Pronouns commonly used under this identity (but not limited to) are Cat/paw/kit/kitten.
Clowncatgender: Commonly, xenogender users will create their own subsets of these genders, and Clowncatgender is an example of that. Its a gender alligned with cats but also clowns, confetti, etc!
Bunnygender: A gender relating to and alligned with bunnies! Common pronouns under this identity are Bunny/paw :] The Umbrella Xenogender Flag!: This flag is used by people who just go by xenopronouns who either use a lot or just like the concept and make their own pronouns.
Neopronouns are essentially the same thing ^^
Now lets learn how to use them!! say for example your friend started going by Cat/paw/bunny. How would you refer to them?
“Bunny told me about the science quiz.”
“Oh, cat was just telling me about the new spiderverse movie!”
”Paw is very nice.”
I hope that helped!
Age Regression.
Age Regression is not a term coined specifically for autism. People age regress for all sorts of different reasons, like to cope trauma or other mental health issues. But it’s also often used as a device for coping for individuals who are autistic!
Whats the official definition? Heathline.com says!!
“Age regression occurs when you mentally retreat to an earlier age. In all ways, you believe you're back at that point in your life, and you may exhibit childish behaviors, too. Some people choose to revert to a younger age. In this case, it can be a coping mechanism to help them relax and eliminate stress.”
Age Regression sometimes ties into xenogenders too, because some people have created xenogender identities related to age regression. These identities often begin with the prefix “agre”
Individuals who age regress may act childish, indulge in childish media, etc. It varies from person to person.
Kinning
Otherkin- Otherkin isn’t a term coined for autism but it is commonly used. Otherkin is when you allign yourself with an animal or any fictional creature for that matter, and feel that you aren’t entirely human or your soul isn’t entirely human.
Fictionkin- Fictionkin is a subset of kinning where you have a fictional character you relate to so much that you feel as if you are the character or are some kind of reincarnation.
Kinning- Kinning is not simply relating to a character, its seeing yourself in a character for a large portion of the series or media. You relate to them on a much more personal and spiritual level ^^
Stimming- Sometimes, expressing ourselves through words can be EXTREMELY difficult. So can self regulation. Stimming is our way of expressing emotions sometimes, such as happiness, sadness, anger, or anxiety. Sometimes we stim because we’re happy but sometimes its during a meltdown that it makes us feel better. Stims vary from person to person. It’s important not to tell them to stop or suppress their stims because it hurts us SO. MUCH.
Special Interests- Special interests IS a term coined specifically for autism. Its an intense love and focus for a specific topic, media, show, game, fandom, song, anything. Hyperfixation- A version of special interest that lasts only for a specific period of time, sometimes a few months, a few weeks, a few days, maybe even longer.
Comfort Items- Comfort items are used for a certain sense of security and safety. They can be ANYTHING. if they are lost it is the END OF THE WORLD. i cannot stress this enough, please validate their comfort items or things or rituals or whatever they do for comfort because it is SO IMPORTANT.
Now lets move on from all those definitions and terms. Lets go to
HOW DO YOU SUPPORT YOUR FRIEND?
While things they get upset about seem trivial to you or strange to be upset about, it’s important to remember that what seems trivial or stupid to you is EXTREMELY important to us. Like oh my fucking god. Being understanding and supportive goes such a long way.
How to deal with overstimulation or a meltdown? It really varies from person to person, since the symptoms of autism or what may cause a meltdown differs so much. But I cannot emphasize this enough, do NOT touch them during a meltdown. You’re gonna make things so much worse. Only do it if you KNOW they are okay with it or if you KNOW it will help them and it makes them feel better.
If its caused by sound- Get them out of that loud area or stop the flow of stimulus. Please do NOT compress them like autism speaks tells ypu to do. Autism speaks is a hateful group that spreads misinformation about autism, and is extremely focus on “curing” autism instead of stopping the hate, discrimination, and making sure they’re accommodated and safe.
Get them to a safe area and if you can’t, do everything you can to make sure they are not uncomfortable. Possibly cover their ears if they’e okay with being touched.
But I cannot tell you how to help them during a meltdown because I don’t know what helps THEM specifically! Beforehand or afterhand, ask them what they would want you to do during a meltdown. When they’re ok, when they’re safe. Dont start freaking out, because that only adds more stimulation to their already overstimulated brain!
(If possible, sometimes turning off the lights helps)
Anyways, there is so much that I can’t cover in this one post but PLEASE be mindful. Autistic people are people too! All we want is respect. Good luck!

Note
i'm a cis straight man in a feminine body that i share with a few others (some of which are woman or girl-adjacent, though none of which are actually female, I think).
....while i say i'm cis and straight that's not true in the traditional sense, either. i am multigender and identify as cis non-binary. my natural hormones are masculine and align with my identity, but our body was assigned female due to the length/shape of our genitals, since we are also intersex. our body had more feminine hormones in early adolescence as well, so we have breasts and i feel top and bottom dysphoria. but while our body was assigned female, i personally was assigned male by my headmates when they realized i was here, so despite the feminine traits our body has, i feel no connection with the transmasculine label.
i also relate to a few xenogender identities. and i am aro-spec and ace-spec; i am orchidromantic-achillean (feel attraction but not drive for romantic relationships with masculine and male-aligned people), and cupiosexual-straight (do not feel attraction to but do feel drive for sexual interactions with feminine bodies (gender doesn't seem to matter as much as the visuals and presentation, so I guess I'm not sure if you could call it truly "straight")).
ironically the part I'm having the most trouble coming out about is being kind of straight-oriented.... sometimes it feels like there's a lot of stigma against straight men, and it doesn't help that i see myself as cis as well. i kind of just wish i could say something like "I'm a cis straight man" without people assuming that's the end to my identities and I'm not queer. like if i said "I'm a transmasc gay man" and later appended "and I'm aro-spec and ace-spec" or "and I'm also non-binary multigender" people would kind of expect it. but i wish i could celebrate my identities that aren't traditionally queer in a queer way. i don't want to downplay my identity as cis or straight or male to acknowledge that according to traditional society I'm doing each of those "wrong".
