Im so tired of young protags (16-19) getting with or being shipped with technically older guys. Like withy rhys, tamlin, and feyre the fae technically age slower but its still a bit sus (maybe im biased but feylin is still my preferred ship if we gonna ship it) But with Alina and people shipping her with the darkling who is 500+ years old, like he aged normally, i get sooooo grossed out like. Alina is a girl! idgaf if you find mal annoying or boring (tasteless fools mal is great) but shipping a 18-19 year old girl with a man centuries older than her who ABUSES AND MANIPULATES HER is gross and i need yall to stop and think for five fucking seconds

Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.

Radiant. A FORCE of nature that will turn you to ash. That warmth that burns so hot it feels like ice. Piercing yellow and red and white. A character being a Sun because you cannot challenge a Sun without burning alive or taking everything down with them if victorious.

ok *deep breathe* if this post gets 7,300 notes I will tell my parents I’ve been writing this story (my sci fi story) and ask if I can get it published by next Christmas also if this does end up getting that insane number of notes I may have to take my word back on the “finish and publish on wattpad or ao3 all four of my wips by next new years” because the sci fi one is obviously going to need a lot more attention but I will finish the drafts for my other 3 wips by next Christmas as well (the summer rom com, the Christmas rom com and the sapphic vampire heist one)

It's so incredibly funny to me that somehow some people think Tim is a boring straightlace and Jason is deranged and unhinged

Like Jason at his worst is a murderous crime lord who also has a moral conscience, protects children and sex workers, works to make the worst parts of Gotham safer and wants to know that his dad cares

Tim at his worst on the other hand.... Rampant murder with NO morals, becomes Batman and uses the gun that killed Bruce's parents, dictator, takes over like half of America, goes back in time like a couple times to tell his younger self that this is their inevitable end just to fuck with HIMSELF

Jason at his best is the happy robin, loves school, cares for sex workers becomes a crime lord to help make sure the people who are addicted aren't being given toxic shit

Tim at his best is entirely unhinged, stalking Batman and Robin through the streets, blackmailing Batman, all the young justice shenanigans, creating a fake uncle to avoid adoption, beefing with a like 9 year old (deserved imo 9 year olds are MEAN), lies to everyone including batman and take pride in it

Like besties one is exponentially more of a black sheep and it isn't the drug lord, it's the heroic sidekick of batman

Yes Jason is still out on the streets wildin and feral but I don't think people give enough credit to how normal he is for his background

Yes Tim is CEO but he's also been 17 for years and probably has taken cocaine to see what it felt like

Something Something, Joker’s whole thing in DC is that he does irredeemable, awful bullshit, which he always minimizes by calling it a joke, regardless of how critical the damage is to people around him and never takes accountability for it, something something literally the plot always tells you he’s an absolute loser for that and aspiring to imitate that behavior makes you a loser, something something comedy should be an outlet for laughter and pain, not taking joy in hurting someone else

By the time eleven rolls around Steve is coming to terms with the fact that Eddie isn’t gonna show up. It’s a bit disappointing but that’s fine. 

He’d only had a beer or two before then but he starts shooting back shots left and right. He also shows people why he’s called The King. As in, The Keg King. 

Steve really has to pee. The stairs seem like a bad idea, though, and there’s a line outside of the downstairs bathroom (and Steve doesn’t have it in him to argue with people for skipping it even though it’s his fucking house) so he stumbles his way outside and to the side of his house to relieve himself.  

Afterwards, he slumps into one of the pool chairs, not wanting to get back to the party just yet. He dozes off there. 

In the morning, he nurses himself through a hangover and only vaguely remembers Tommy and Carol dragging him upstairs to his room before leaving together. Seems like they worked it out just fine. 

By Monday, Steve’s feeling better.

Eddie i really like your smile, even when you’re being a little shit how was your weekend? anything fun? i missed you at the party  i don’t think you showed but i was really fucked up so who knows that’s ok though, i didn’t really wanna be there either  -H 

As much as he doesn’t want to, Steve skips the sunglasses today. He doesn’t want to be known as that guy. 

This means that when he looks over to Eddie’s table only to find the boy already looking in his direction, he has to act natural when they make eye contact before letting his gaze move on like he was just taking a quick look around the room.

He waits a few minutes before trying again. Eddie’s still looking.

Okay, what the fuck. 

Steve tries one last time about ten minutes later. He’s still looking.

this point has probably been made 700 times already but can we please stop normalizing putting every crumb of alter information into your intros/descriptions. i'm really tired of seeing people list their trauma holders & let their littles roam free online & minors listing their sexual protectors publicly, PLEASE stop putting targets on you. yeah your intro or pk description might look pretty but someone is going to take advantage of that information eventually and/or publicly blast you.

^ this also applies to triggers btw, even positive ones. you may think you're preventing something, but if you tell the internet not to do something then they're just gonna do it more, especially if your triggers are more obscure/"weird".
