finally re-reading stormbringer, first post of a long list (30 photos limit go die) we stan the flags

I read stormbringer this summer, and it was something (it destroyed me and made Chuuya became my favourite character of all bsd- more than anyone else (like sigma, he's my fav in the decay of angels arc), chuuya solos everyone and you know it shut up)

so, like I did with fifteen I feel the urge to share everything cause yeah we all need to suffer more

1. We Stan The Flags

This always makes me laugh, cause Chuuya's like "yeah, it's probably the shadiest and most dangerous role I could have as a non-executive, what's so important ab it? It's cool guys I'm not better than you all" (imposter syndrome sir)

I love Pianoman. I just- I love the Flags, and I will always fantasize ab a world where they're still alive. and them bullying chuuya is my favourite trope alr.

and i just know that in a no powers au chuuya would have been the kind of teenager to befriends people older than him like ten years age gap, cause people his age just weren't for him (in an healthy way guys)

try to not think ab chuuya's inability to accept gifts and love, and just some of the most powerful men in the mafia being excited ab a silly guy (silly chuuya who's stronger than half of them(gotta write chuuya and iceman first meeting))

the... the fruitiness of this sentence is menacing so I'm gonna- just yk

the au where Chuuya takes Lippman place ad the mafia's contact with the light is so beautiful and sad. and that fic where he takes chuuya on set I'm crying stop it

canon chuuya is so mean. Like not mean, just harsh. a lot of people only sees him as someone who gets mad at Dazai and is a peace of cake with everyone else- like no? he send to hell every person he talks to and goes on with "wanna know the power of gravity" every two seconds. he's just chuuya, gotta accept him as our little mass murder with anger issues that needs to be controlled cause the Mafia boss is afraid he's gonna die if he doesn't <333

and this is so beautiful in a way. he always talks ab killing dazai and dazai doesn't help with that, only giving him more reasons to do so, and same with the flag. anger issues maybe, but is he really angry with dazai and the others? we see him really mad, and it is not a pretty thing to watch- and they all know what mad chuuya really looks like and just know when he's yes angry but not really. everyone is ready to fight, and are relieved when things dont escalate (they love chuuya so much stop please)

they comfort him in a way that is heartwarming. they don't offer him useless words or things like "don't worry you have a past and you're human", they don't beat around the bush. Pianoman's like "hey, we know you don't know if you're human, and I'm gonna be super harsh ab it cause we're in the mafia and all of that but listen kid, here we are ab to solve your existential crisis"

even Iceman, the cold blooded hitman who almost killed chuuya a couple of times and was ab to try it five minutes before this, is fucking smiling. they're so happy to help him it hurts (just know iceman called him kid at least some times. he's the real big brother and I just know it)

yes, this is the first time chuuya has real friends- not kids he has to look after and protect without receiving gratitude but just a "it's the least you can do" attitude, not whatever-the-fuck-is-going-on with dazai, just friends. they spend time sìtogether, they give eachother gifts. they're kind with eachother in the ways the know how

an chuuya doesn't know what to do, cause he has never had this type of relationship with anyone, the "give-receive" mechanism that every relationship should have. he doesn't know what to do, and I need to hug him

and then the gag we needed and something I need to draw (Pianoman definitely is the tired mom. Iceman is the dad cause yeah who other. Chuuya and Albatross the sons, Doc the gay emo cousin (what do you mean you wish to be carried by Adam sir) and Lippman the sassy aunt. just see it)

he kind of is sir (he's fucking sixteen just kill me)

something I love ab him is the fact that he's emotionally constipated but like one of the less serious one. he knows that he can be easy to read since he's very open ab his emotions (even if they understand he could just kill everyone, so), but can be serious in a way a teenager shouldn't be able to. he chooses to be so open with dazai, the flags and the people he cares about. the trust king fr

they all know he's gonna come back (and that he's crying) cause he probably wanted them to, or he would have reacted worse to getting understood so easily

and this is the trope asagiri give us so many times and the best one in the history of tropes. bad scary guys having fun with some other bad scary guys and enjoying their time together like normal people.

I actually created most of the Notable Members of the Cult of Bhaal in Nemo's timeline.

Beware, a lot of screens and info under the cut.

Let's start with the elders, aka 2 only lived till the events of the game people who passed the rites and became unholy assassins before Nemo became the leader. Everyone else who's still in the cult came after.

Gregor.

Human, he/him, warrior. Tired as shit. Respects Sarevok but doesn't like Orin. Nemo is okay, he saw that kid grow into a fine young leader he is now. Has a daughter he keeps as far as possible from the cult.

Takes Nemo's side, dies in the confrontation with Orin by Orin's hand.

Braska.

Half-orc, she/her, monk. Was in love with Helena but never told her. Loves Orin as her own daughter but, again, never let her know. Takes Orin's side even though Orin has visibly changed, is killed by Gregor's blade.

Then come the kiddos Nemo picked up on different occasions.

Clotilda.

Wooden elf, she/her, assassin. Nemo's protégé and second in command. Tattoo on her face is a gift from Nemo for her unholy assassin's initiation.

The first one Nemo ever brought to the temple, as a result has an incurable Older Daughter syndrome. Control freak. The spokesperson for relationships with other organizations (mainly Ninefingers' guild.)

Hated Orin's rule because of how everything was disorganized and also how Orin did everything wrong.

Was demoted to a mere bodyguard by Orin, but jokes on her, this is how Clotilda met the love of her life Polandulus. They haven't told anyone about their love yet, and Polandulus is baneite, but surely everything will work out. Lord Nemo is very close with Lord Gortash, after all, he'll understand.

Is overly protective of Vivias, the tiefling sorcerer, because he was brought the second and she immediately adopted him as her brother. They wear the matching earrings sets.

Takes Nemo's side, survives.

Vivias.

Mephistopheles' tiefling, wild sorcerer, he/him. Burned half of his face when he was a child (it also almost resulted in him being murdered by an angry crowd, but Nemo interfered and murdered the said crowd instead.)

The baby of the murder family but also the most unpredictable (due to his magic) one. Has an ugly crush on Lerroe, but don't tell them!

Takes Nemo's side, murders half of Orin's cultists in one extremely dangerous and uncontrollable blast (burns both of his hands in the process)

Lerroe.

Seldarine drow, they/them. Nobleborn. Warlock with fiend patron because the killings of their entire family by said fiends taught them what they're better than their parents. Struck a pact with one of the fiends who killed their family and this is how they survived. Nemo picked them up later.

Is oblivious to Vivias' crush despite their co-cultists taking bets on them getting together. Takes Nemo's side because just who Orin thinks she is?

If you think they look like dunmer from TES, it's because they do.

Morna.

Halfling, barbarian, she/they. One of the urchin children Nemo first fed humanoid flesh to and then kidnapped/took in. No-nonsence, doesn't care about Bhaal that much, but cares about the place where they found shelter and home. Defends her home and her leader against Orin. Lives.

Writt.

Half-drow, ranger. They/them. Urchin from the streets Nemo took in. Avid cannibal due to Nemo's manipulations. Takes neutral position and waits till the winner is declared.

Franceska (Fran).

Asmodeus tiefling, warrior, she/her. The last of Nemo's urchins. Still uneasy with the cannibal thing, but you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. Gregor's apprentice. Takes Gregor's (meaning Nemo's) side, barely survives.

Csenya and Caterina.

Humans, she/her and she/her. The twin daughters of the cultist of Tiamat Wyll killed when he defended Baldurs Gate seven years ago. Don't tell them Wyll did that.

The last ones Nemo brought to the temple.

Csenya (left) is a bard. Caterina (right) is a mystic trickster.

Take different sides in the fight with Orin, resulting in Caterina killing her sister and then, after realizing what she has done, killing herself.

For some reason they're the only ones Withers agrees to revive. The first thing Csenya does after the revival is stabbing her sister in the eye.

Bonus: the adult who wanted to join after Nemo and Sceleritas dealt with the necromancer who left behind himself poisonous bodies.

Rico.

Dwarf, he/him, necromancer because what doesn't kill you makes you want to learn it. Who knows what fucked up experiments the necromancer performed on him? He won't tell.

Takes the neutral position in the fight with Orin.

- Is a big fan of Napstaton and talks about how talented he is. Jayce has an appreciation for the arts

- This guy is so strong he can suplex a boulder and lift a car. The training he got from Alphys and a bit of Undyne paid off

- One of the physically strongest of the Sanses: incredibly strong, quick on his feet, and has good control of his magic

- He loves outdoor activities especially hiking, cooking, designing and making outfits, arts and crafts, photography, and dancing.

- Has a hand stim and always needs to do something with his hands

- Suffers a bit from imposter syndrome

- He should take a break or nap, but there’s also so much to do

- Wants to chase a tornado one day but for now he makes his own magic tornadoes

- He’s currently teaching himself how to skateboard. Jayce is also trying to figure out how to get Rufus to stay on his skateboard while he’s riding

- Judge of the underground

- Made a cooling system for the CORE after the accident. Also made sure railings were installed. Though he can’t really do much for the puzzles and mechanisms in the CORE

- Carries around a stash of citrus flavored lollipops. Loves the lollipops but his favorite sweets are those that are honey flavored

- Please for the love of god keep him away from mayo he is disgusting with it

- Secretly learned how to dance from watching Napstaton (is actually a really good hip hop dancer)

- Because he had to deal with Jayce’s speediness and Jayce’s energetic dog, Paps is the most dodgiest of the Papyruses and can probably snatch someone who is running at full speed pretty quickly

- He loves tinkering, reading, swimming, playing video games, watching documentaries and binging TV shows, and actually draws a bit himself. Not super talented but it’s good art!

- He’s pretty good at basketball

- A little on the quiet side, but he’s generally upbeat and friendly to others! Might have some social anxiety too

Christine always has two sides for me with regard to the whole “I have so many interests I want to pursue” thing. On one hand ofc she’s ambitious, passionate, driven, etc. On the other I feel like she would really struggle to commit to something (a college major, a career, etc) because she’d always be wondering what else she could’ve done or how her life would’ve gone if she’d done this or that. So I feel like as she got older she’d get stuck in the past and how sure of herself she was and how much time she still had to figure out her life.

Being the best actress at her high school and then being hit with the realization that going to school for theater means you’re surrounded with people who were all the best at their high schools and grappling with not being THE best anymore. had to separate character things into 2 parts, because i was hitting the text limit (woops), so here's the remaining 4 prompts. same deal as before and it's pretty much just as long. (missed the first part? I got you: part 1)

Disaster more of an on the go kind of thinker, preferring to do things as events play out rather than plan beforehand. they tend to be clumsy and fumble with their words, often wincing when replaying it in their heads and realizing how those words may be taken differently. they apologize for a lot of things. though they're still capable of sustaining themselves, it's always hectic, their desk is a mess, their room is a hurricane disaster area, and they've got sticky notes everywhere. they've got a bunch of pencils and pens, their writings being an mix of all of the supplies, their preference being to just grab whatever's closeby. they're absolutely remarkably good at what they're passionate about and they let everything else fall by the wayside. oh and also they definitely mismatch socks. and their clothes go into a clean pile and a dirty pile, we reject folding/hanging up clothes. they hardly ever iron their clothes and when they do, setting things on fire is a very real and very possible concern.

STEM/Gifted Kid (CW, burnout and imposter syndrome) if they're going strong and love what they do, they're in their element, a real fish in water. they like learning more about what they like, picking things up quickly and memorizing information in a flash. the praise and excelling at what society values the most is just a bonus for them. they probably learn outside of classes as well, just for the fun of it, to challenge themselves a little. but they're awfully humble, they acknowledge that what they find so easy is not so for others. they're often bashful about it around their peers, not wanting to seem showboaty. but they like talking about it, even if no one understands, just to have someone listen is so exciting for them. they thoughts fade in and out of different topics, finding ways to connect them all together. if they're a burnout, the praise made them anxious. as if they were imposters, like they didn't deserve it. they didn't think they were extraordinary and felt pressured to perform well, that if they didn't everyone would realize that they're really just an idiot. so they overcompensated, acting a little childish and silly outside of academics, so people wouldn't expect more. they're insecure about how smart they actually are. chances are that even though they loved to learn, they never went out of their way to research or teach themselves STEM subjects. maybe they never loved stem in the first place, they just happened to be good at it and felt immense pressure to be in a stem field. maybe they just casually scroll through the internet, learning more about the arts or history, practically devouring information with their eyes. they burnt out under all the pressure, all the expectations, all the classes and worries because it did not all come naturally to them

Literary NERDDDD they read for fun, anything that catches their eye, regardless of genre, they read. they have a bunch of books that they've bought, stacked up or in a bookcase. they make a lot of references, allusions, or make direct quotes in conversations, even if no one gets it. sometimes when someone else says something that reminds them of a certain line, they repeat what the person said and add on the rest of the line. they may sometimes overanalyze a certain part of a book, coming up with theories as to what happens

Games, unlimited games but no bacon gotta love the gamers, they're weirdly intense about at least one game and it is one they repeatedly come back to, so every now and then you'll see them playing it again. especially if it's for 100% completion. they've probably got a lot of water bottles/drinks all around the desk, some empty some not.

Hey Lucie, I'm back! Sorry it's been .... so long ... I've been buried under exams and just been in a bit of a slump lately ... but I'm figuring it out!

I’m glad your examwent just okay! Hopefully that’s positive … When do you find out about your exams? I’m finally through the minefield that was my exams … 2 weeks of utter anxiety, let me tell you. Glad it’s over. I’m now in the anxiety ridden minefield that is waiting for results.

I’ve been thinking a lot about good company … I’ve found out recently that I’m going to have to move for work, most likely, which I did not want to do, but it is what it is … I’m sort of thinking now that moving on may be really good – find some new good company, leave some of the heaviness behind ….

In terms of the wedding, I have over a year to get mentally prepared for big crowds and dancing (two things I don’t typically like). Do you like to dance?

I have bought a copy of the new album but haven’t heard it yet ….. I haven’t been in  the right headspace lately, with exams. And also I’ve been sulking because I didn’t get tickets to see them. But all the buzz around the new album is really exciting ..! also your review makes me excited too, I loved after laughter, when it came out it wasn’t really something I would have ordinarily listened to, but I fell in love with it FAST, so hearing something which may actually be reflective of how we’re all going through it may be really satisfying … we shall see!

hi! dw I know how it is with exams, and late winter/early spring (I'm always tired during that period, probably the lack of sunlight). I should get news about my exam very soon.

as a former gifted kid myself, i sympathize!

honestly moving away could be very good for you! it's always stressful but it allows you to truly step into a new era of your life, let go of the heavy things you were carrying, and embrace new things.

on the topic of dancing: I usually don't dance in public because I'm very shy, but in some occasions I can do it without being awkward. These occasions include when I drink, or when I'm with my best friends (I feel most comfortable moving around with people I'm close to), or when the crowd is so thick people can't look at you. Oh and also when friends teach me to do couple's dances (mainly waltz)! Are you more comfortable dancing? Because I love to do it but the social anxiety just stops me in my tracks every time and I have to work around it

When you get around to listening to it more you can review it to me! I love hearing people's opinions on music

I've been okay, work isn't too busy these days so I can read novels when there's nothing to do :D the only thing I'm stressed out about is what I'm doing next year. I don't have any clear plans yet because it's too scary for me to figure things out, but applications processes will start soon :/

i'm never sure where to start with these girls, they have a LOT going on. let me just copypaste summaries from a discord convo i had the other day

CHERRY

she's the oldest of the sisters, and is very warm, friendly, and kind. she takes on a lot of emotional responsibility for her sisters, but has trouble taking care of herself. she is extremely good at masking how she really feels, and it's to make the people around her feel comfortable and at home. she has Older Sister Syndrome and was made to grow up too soon. when she was younger, she was a tomboy and rebellious teen... when she had time to spare away from her younger sisters.

OLIVE

olive is very melancholy, and she's almost never home. she prefers to wander about the city and sit in the park playing guitar. phobia of cats. she wants to be a professional musician but is afraid to put herself out there. she is incredibly anxious and jumpy, and strongly dislikes talking to other people. shes very thoughtful. hasn't changed much since she was a kid, except having more traumas to bear.

PLUM

she's very depressed and bitter. she has a very complicated relationship with her family, and it seems that clem is the only one who truly cares about her. she feeds the feral cat colonies in her city and is part of a volunteer TNR operation. she desperately craves authentic human connection but is terrified she will further hurt the people she loves, so she self-isolates. acts edgy but is just awkward. she was part of a "popular girl" clique in high school, desperately trying to climb the heirarchy of their abusive friendship but never succeeding.

CLEMENTINE

clem is an optimist, through and through. she's always smiling, usually with her teeth showing, even when she's sad or angry or scared. she loves to exercise (meeting her goals is always exciting!) and loves to do her hair in funny ways - it's different every day. she's 100% unwilling to hide any part of her personality. she's an ex-smoker at 23... she has stories to tell. in high school, she acted scary to make sure nobody could hurt her.

BONNIBEL

nobody calls her bonnibel - everybody calls her bonbon. as her convention-breaking name implies, she's distant from her family. she's the breadwinner of the family, the only one aside from their mother who works. she is very hardworking, almost self-destructively so, and it's very difficult to break through her shell and see the "real" her. she doesn't even know who the "real" her is. she's catty and mean and petty, but for some reason, she babies olive and showers her with gifts... as a child, she was a shadow. nobody noticed or really cared about her as a kid.

all five of them live with their single mother in an old house on the outskirts of a city. they all have miscellaneous Problems Disorders and tragic backstories, and their lives are heavily interwoven. at the time the story starts, the tenuous peace they have been maintaining since they graduated high school is starting to finally fall apart...

IGHT Lily and Julia

Let’s start with Lily

She is probably the only one who has an ok ish relationship with her parents? They’re kind of in that gray area of like not bad but not exactly good either and also she left em at age 11 to be a sword lady so she wasn’t that attached🤷‍♀️

So There’s this like training place for young sword people who want to become knights and shit to like go and train and shit It’s like boarding school but medieval and for knights I haven’t thought of an official name for it yet so if you want feel free to throw some suggestions at me

Anyway so lily be vibin and got invited to it because she’s very good and swording and she travels there and she ends up in this place just full of cishet jock dudes (🤢) and has to deal with ✨sexism✨

but she’s still super passionate about swording so she pushes through it (I have a short writing peice just of her dealing with this and then just popping off and holding a guy at sword point cuz she’s a girlboss ❤️)

and also she develops gifted kid syndrome because I have to project that onto someone

Must a characters backstory be fleshed out? Is it not enough for me to project my emotional issues onto a cool lady. She has a heart on her sword hilt. Because I designed her when I was 10 and I kept it because I think it’s cool. Fuck you. She’s a Mary Sue I admit this.

basically her whole arc is about learning how you can’t be perfect at everything and healing and perfectionism issues and how people can love you in spite your flaws

I low key want to give her a dumb ass hobby like knitting or something like that and I want it to actually be super symbolic. She starts of fucking hating it and hating herself because she’s bad at it. but then slowly learns that you don’t have to be good at something for it to have worth. And so she loves it later. But still sucks at it because that’s the fucking point. But she’s improved a jus lil bit. As a treat❤️

Julia was raised in an @bus!v3 household with a shitty mom witch like I have details but i don’t wanna trigger anyone so I’ll leave those out and a dad who genuinely loved her but couldn’t,,didn’t know how to child,, so needless to say shit was Not Good for her at home and she kinda learned to put on this fake “haha no I’m fine :))” mask to survive

the only real relief she got was her granddads house where she got her signature lute and when playing said lute

She like would go out and just wander the town sometimes and try to be forgotten but someone would always recognize her and bring her back so she learned to be really good at simple disguises

She never had the courage to full on run away though, it was more like “maybe if I just sit in the town square and don’t move I’ll waste away and become bones :))” and then her dad would go out looking and she would be like damn not again

Her arc is more about learning what healthy relationships look like and also learning that always being “the happy one” or “the comic relief” doesn’t actually help.Repression is bad kids don’t do it

She’s the chaotic one™️ partially to hide the sadness behind goofy shenanigans and partially because sometimes you just gotta shove 20 marshmallows in to ur mouth. It’s self care. Do not question it.

As for the relationship between the two

The way they met was Julia was pulling one of her “haha I do not exist” shit and practicing her lute meanwhile lily is just out strolling after training finishes and Lilly is like “shit good music bro” and Julia is like “yo thanks bro” and they start meeting up every day and hanging out and there’s a ~connection~ there

I’m constantly switching between love at first sight and slowly and unintentionally falling in love until your up at two am like “FUCK” for the two

Currently Julia is love at first sight and lily is slow but that may as well switch at any moment

So at one point they’re like “I think I love you” “me too” but they can’t be in a relationship because homo of the sexual is illegal (that kinda ties into jaspers arc of like “shit we cause so much pain and suffering”) so they decide to run away together with Julia using her ol bag o disguises to mulan that shit and goes by her last name Charles so everyone thinks she is very straight ™️ and Lily has survival training so together they camp out in the woods hiding from the police robin-hood style with lily pretending to be Charles occasionally when they need to buy food and stuff

The whole thing is about different forms of self love and learning that your worthy of love and self recognition through the other but in a good way and they help each other work through their flaws what not

Sometimes I feel like It’s too trope-y because I’m aro and have no experience of my own in romance so it all just based of my friendships and tv romances sooo

—— hugo was born into a moderately wealthy family right in the middle of munich, germany. his parents pushed a lot of their #grindset on him and his baby sister. unfortunately for him, this meant a future of perfectionism and unrelenting gifted kid syndrome. he sacrificed a lot of his social needs for grades early in his life and after a while, it all became second nature. once in a blue moon he’d talk to his peers in scouting but he’d stutter, stumble over his words, and never quite found the right things to say. figuring himself a lost cause, he studied. he helped his mom with the garden. maybe occasionally played half life or duke nukem on the family computer. all of this dedication to perfection made him a shoe-in for harvard university, all the way over in the united states. his parents, father especially, encouraged the idea. that was all he needed to get himself on a plane to massachusetts. he was just glad his family could afford frequent flights back home, in case everything went to shit. —— when he first landed, hugo thought he’d only be in the states for school, but he ended up liking it a lot more than he thought he would. after finishing school and taking up a residency in downtown boston, he moved to new york. he made a good amount of money, was able to keep in touch with the few friends he met in college, and even secured a few long term relationships along the way. he hit his thirties and finally felt that he reached a point of contentment. this ... didn’t last long. —— right before he was able to buy his first house in the city he fell ill and, after seeing more doctors than he could count on both hands and feet, was diagnosed with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. this wasn’t something he thought he was going to be able to handle by himself, so his sister came down from her home in germany to assist him with his daily needs. the two of them definitely couldn’t afford new york and medical bills on hugo’s salary alone, which led them to pack their bags and head to ( what his sister considered ) the next best option. moorbrooke, maine !! he wasn’t too stoked about this. he’d be leaving most of his support system behind and he knew absolutely nothing about the area, but his sister found a job there and it was a good place for him to start a private practice of his own. he’s still struggling over the loss of independence and the complete change from where he was in life before, but he’s coping ! after spending a lot of time inside and away from the people of moorbroke, he finally thinks he might be ready to actually make a life here. even if he wasn’t, his sister isn’t gonna move the two of them any time soon.

• So Matt, Ben, & Randy are brothers here (: there’s two years between Randy and Ben and five between Ben and Matt. Randy & Ben were both planned and Matt was a hella surprise. All three of them are mama’s boys, Han wasn’t around much due to work related trips.

• Randy’s the oldest and an awkward fucker who is just trying his best™️. He went to community college but ended up dropping out halfway through his freshman year and taking a job as a barista. He skated through high school with great grades bc his mother helped with 98% of his homework. In high school, he played trombone in marching band and learned to play jazz on it as well. Also ended up working with Matt at Starkiller Base.

• Ben’s the middle child and suffers heavily from middle child syndrome. He sides with Randy on all disagreements between the three of them and hardly ever gets along with Matt. Although he was the one who taught him how to shave and put on a condom properly. He was the ladies man of the Solo family in high school— every single girl who talked to Matt just wanted Ben’s number. Fucked Matt’s wife when he met her. Ben played football and baseball in high school. Also had a bit of a rage issue but he’s got it under control now. Will not admit to fucking his girlfriend in a dugout but definitely did.

• Matt is the youngest of the three. He’s got some rage issues, for obvious reasons. He was naturally gifted and hardly needed his mother (or father’s) help with much schoolwork. Played Baseball with Ben. He went to a pristine college and graduated in the top of his class. Was married right outta high school to a girl named Reylynn, that he spent a weekend vacation with in Vegas— was with her for three years. Taught himself to play a drum kit to impress the ladies. Never played for a girl in his life. Enjoys Pokémon a lot too.

• Leia coddles Randy a bit, which always makes the other two roll their eyes. But everyone knew Matt was her baby— she literally did not wean him from (comfort) breastfeeding until he was four. After Matt’s divorce was finalized, he called her off his ass drunk in the middle of Washington State, so she packed her car and drove straight from New York until she was at his apartment, picking him up and helping him pack to move home. Randy had lunch with his mom every Thursday and was so happy to. Randy’s also vegan. Ben’s a big mama’s boy and always has been. Sometimes he just needs to crawl up the brownstone steps and lay on his moms lap while she plays with his hair and tells him he doesn’t have to think about being an adult right now.

• Ben does everything he can to just cause absolute havoc for his brothers. But is pretty jealous that Matt graduated college and did as well as he did. He loves them both and isn’t exactly proud of himself for hurting Matt in the ways he did. Also fucked his girlfriend in his and Matt’s shared bedroom whilst Matty was asleep on the top bunk.

• Matt lives in New York, Randy lives in New Jersey, and Ben lives wherever the wind takes him. Right now it’s Rhode Island. They don’t visit each other literally ever. The only reason Matt and Randy see each other so much is because they work together. Randy visits Han and Leia the most. Ben visits once a month. And Matt doesn’t visit at all, but does call his mom on special occasions and always ends his calls with a heartfelt I love you.

• Han could hardly tell Randy and Ben apart growing up. They both had dark hair and dark eyes and he definitely wasn’t around enough to know which one was taller. Only could tell Matt apart by that mop of blonde hair. Split Randy’s face open once when he was seven when they were playing outside. Randy has a scar now. Han will lie and say no if you ask if that helped him tell them apart until Randy started to distinctly look different. But it did.

• Randy possibly has a kid somewhere from some girl he knew in his college half-year. All he knows is they’re a girl and she’s gotta be almost graduating. Her name may or may not be Diana, or Diane? Something similar. Ben found out he was “infertile” at twenty-six and just went ahead and got himself snipped. He didn’t really want kids anyway. Matt wants kids eventually— but it’s definitely not something he sees coming too soon.

• Randy and Matt share lunch sometimes, and Matt always keeps an extra hoodie in his locker for Randy because he knows that man can’t remember Jack shit.

• Matt does love Ben, he’d take a bullet for him. But if he had the chance to lay a good one right to his jaw, he would. Also got no sleep in school because of Ben’s constant sex tirades of sneaking girls in and out of their window. Randy had his own room growing up and moved out at nineteen. But since mom and dad were going through it, that became Han’s bedroom.

• but the Solo brothers would be there for each other if one of them called. Matt would pick up and drive to Timbuktu if Ben needed him too. And he’s brought groceries to Randy on more than one occasion. Randy always makes an effort to call his brothers and check in. Ben answers and is always down to chat. Matt let’s it ring through to voicemail. Ben sends each of them something from his travels every time he goes to a new state. Matt has all of the trinkets in his office.
