Lily potter is sitting in the corner, of her baby’s bedroom, by the door trying to calm and shush the both of them, while she hears James going down, because of Peter. She can hear Voldemort ordering Pete to go upstairs.

She knows she won’t live, she knows this is her last day. She suddenly thinks back to her sister, saying this, magic, would be the death of her. Oh god, she was right.

Peter opens the door and turns around to meet Pete’s eyes. (It’s Pete’s eyes, but it isn’t Pete.)

Then it clicks in Lily’s mind: he did it. He was the spy, the traitor, the one who killed Marlene. Suddenly she thinks;

She’s hiding in the corner of a room, sobbing trying to shush herself, she knows her family is dead, and she knows she won’t survive.

I think Lily’s animagus would be a bee I never really see many options for lily’s animagus and I think that’s because people don’t really know her character

Lily like most of the women in fandom spaces is kind of used as a tool to get men together which is like so uncool so I don’t think people know what animagus to give her

Like I see sometimes people give her a doe to match James but honestly lily is too much of her own person for that like sure their patronuses could match but I don’t want lily’s animagus to match too that’s too much male influence

Anyway back to the bee, first and most importantly bees are really fucking cool but a lot of people don’t get that like either they fear the bee because of its sting (and yes lily had a fierce temper where did you think Harry got it from) or they think it’s something delicate and weak boys like Severus don’t really see her as something threatening and more like something that can be easily destroyed

But bees are important they have a huge impact on the world around them, they are team players and they understand the importance of doing your job, bees are also fiercely loyal to those who earn their loyalty and are just as capable of violence to those who don’t

Not to mention bees are fiercely protective of their home and those that reside within and bees are incredibly intelligent much like lily herself and lastly (for now anyway) bees can be hugely sociable creatures and are peaceful when going about their lives unless threatened

Anyway to make a long story short lily is a bee I will hear no arguments unless it’s abt the species of bee in which feel free cos I didn’t think that far ahead
