Regulus punched him way too hard for it to come off as friendly. “Stop staring at my brother’s arse.”

It was hypocritical of him, when his gaze had never left Potter’s thighs.

Barty smiled. “It’s a nice arse.”

Regulus sent a stinging hex to his cheeks.

“Ouch.”

“Don’t talk about my brother like that ever again.”

“If you’re so jealous maybe you should wear skirts, it would certainly bring my eyes elsewhere.” he blinked flirtatiously.

Regulus' gaze could kill, but so could Evan’s if you paid enough attention.

 “Relax, your arse is way finer Reg.” Evan said.

Barty quickly turned to him, offended and a little angry.

“Don’t talk about Regulus arse.”

Evan raised one eyebrow mockingly. “Why wouldn’t I?”

Barty didn’t answer, turning away from him with a strange look in his eyes; they didn’t hear from him for the rest of the day. Later a student was found transfigured into a weasel stuck to a branch of a tree, he had been severely burned, the culprit never to be found.

It’s called “Of beggars, heathens and the filthy rich” by tchaiskovskysl_t and it’s Siriusly (👀) THAT good.

It’s a WIP, but still has many chapters out, very dark academia vibes, orphan Remus, obviously closeted gay Sirius, James is Jameing, the girls are Girlying and I actually like Peter in that one.

Harry meets the Mauraders fanfic recs

Ok, so this list was born after I read the beautiful fic called The Devil’s White Knight. It’s about Harry traveling to an alternative universe where Voldemort was killed in his youth, where his parents are alive and his whole life played out differently. He still has his memories though, and a whole lot of trauma, so he goes through a journey of getting to know a family that loves him unconditionally while struggling with everything else.

I was obsessed to say the least. I started looking for similar fics that gave me the same feelings and that explored Harry’s trauma and power as the key to Voldemort’s defeat, and how he fit into his new life. Thse are some I enjoyed a lot.
