Amazing and incredible fact: Mitsurugi (Edgeworth) had problems with fine motor skills as a child.
In order not to be unfounded, I will definitely explain everything.
First, let's figure out what fine motor skills are.
Generally thought of as the movement and use of hands and upper extremities, fine motor skills include reaching, grasping and manipulating objects with your hands.
It is also closely related to a child’s handwriting.
Handwriting and Fine motor skills involve the use of the smaller muscle of the hands, commonly in activities like using pencils, scissors, construction with bricks, doing up buttons and opening lunch boxes.
Now back to Reiji (to Miles).
For the first time, Larry (Yahari) tells us about some shortcomings in his skills with his hands. He remembers that Mitsurugi, as a child, could not fold even the simplest origami figure, and that for Reiji this was a real shame.
Tumblr media
If we examine the table in Mitsurugi's office, we will notice on it a fountain pen on a stand and an inkwell next to it.
Tumblr media
The only logical conclusion is that Mitsurugi writes with a fountain pen.
Later, he confirms this fact personally and even gives us more details - not only does he use this pen in the office, but he also carries the same one with him at all times to write down facts in his organizer.
Tumblr media
Now the question arises: why a fountain pen, and not a classic ballpoint pen?
And all because a fountain pen improves the writer’s handwriting and also prevents fatigue when writing (and Mitsurugi constantly has to work with a large number of documents).
Tumblr media
And as we already figured out earlier, handwriting depends on fine motor skills.
In other words, Mitsurugi had terrible handwriting up to a certain point, so he got into the habit of writing with a fountain pen.
We can even see samples of his handwriting on a certain document that was written in his hand.
Tumblr media
But he developed his fine motor skills not only with a fountain pen.
Since childhood, Mitsurugi attended many additional lessons - chess, golf, flute.
Tumblr media
If everything about chess is clear (this hobby runs like a red thread through all games), then there is practically no mention of the flute. But even this gives us sufficient information.
This is because playing the flute also improves fine motor skills.
Tumblr media
If Mitsurugi could write with a fountain pen only outside of school or began much later (because in Japan, where the game initially takes place, kids write with simple pencils), and Naruhodō didn't know about it (as he knew about the flute, chess and his other activities), then the flute was one of the first to be introduced to train fine motor skills.
I doubt Mitsurugi’s words about his ability to fold a quarter-inch crane (because someone like to exaggerate), but I’m ready to believe that he did learn how to fold origami and improved his fine motor skills and penmanship.

Damian being an artist from a really young age is canon. Especially with the League’s training.
But I have this headcanon about how he got to be as encouraged as he was to pursue art as more than just part of his training and development.
Imagine a 3 year old Damian having his art breaks spaced out to only 2 or 3 per week and during this breaks he was babysat by the non-verbal, fresh out of the Lazarus pit Jason.
Damian would notice Jason’s struggle to readjust after being brought back even if he wasn’t sure what that was about.
And he would invite Jason to sit next to him, where he had a bunch of acrylics and canvases to finger paint in order to train and refine his motor skills.
Damian would pass the paints to Jason and encourage him to finger paint with him. Just as a fun game.
Without knowing, this led to Jason’s prompt readjustment and recovery since his communication, language skills and creativity were rehabilitated in one of the most friendly ways possible.
Jason spent the next couple of years gifting Damian art supplies for his lessons even if the League didn’t notice or didn’t care how art was helping him improve many aspects of his skills, even more than they anticipated since their actual goal were other aspects other than art.
In the end, Damian’s love for art wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t encouraged by Jason.

♡ Stray Kids as Dads ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Word Count: 637 Author's Note: As always this is just for funsies, feel free to add on your own ideas ♡
Bang Chan
He's such a girl dad and I don't think anyone will disagree with this. His daughter is the apple of his eye, the most precious thing he has ever seen. Everything he does in life is for his daughter and family. He will always do his best to take time off work to not miss big milestones and events. I can imagine him smiling ear to ear watching his child's first choir concert, even if it sounds bad he is still so proud of his baby girl.
Lee Know
I can't quite explain why I view him as a father of twins but I just do, it'll be one boy and one girl. When the two of you found out you were having twins his immediate excitement for it took away all your anxiety. If you choose to breast feed he will do everything he can to help you such as cleaning your pumps and changing diapers so you can rest. When the kids get older he will take great pride in making them healthy and yummy homecooked meals.
Changbin
Girl dad 100%, you can't convince me otherwise. He became very protective of his baby girl the second he saw the ultrasound. He does as much as he can while the baby is a newborn to help develop a bond. This includes things like skin-to-skin cuddles, diaper changes, and baths. When his daughter gets older he will always be picking out the cutest outfits for her.
Hyunjin
Honestly, I could see him as both a girl and boy dad but I think his first might be a girl. I can see him as the dad who plays dress-up with his daughter. He'd let his girl paint his nails, do his hair, and put makeup on him and he'd do the same to her. They'd also do crafts together, once his daughter develops better motor skills he will definitely teach her how to paint.
Han
Baby girl is the father of a baby girl. He loves spending one-on-one time with his daughter. He will take her to the park to play while also allowing his partner to have some quiet time to themselves. When his daughter is a little bit older he will take her on "dates" so she can learn how a man should treat her. By dates, I mean things like daddy-daughter dances where he will bring her flowers, open car doors for her, and treat her to dinner.
Felix
I have a feeling if he decides to have kids he would like to settle back down in Australia. He would love to take his son to all of the places he has fond memories of in his hometown. I'm sure he would be thrilled if his child showed interest in doing taekwondo as well. Everyone will be wondering if his son will have that same signature deep voice he has.
Seungmin
I think he would really like having a child he can play sports with and roughhouse with. Obviously, he can do that with either a girl or a boy but I think he ultimately would like a mini him to play with. He'd love playing catch with his boy and taking him out to sports games. They'd probably play outside all day, rain or sunshine, and always come back in covered in mud and ravenously hungry.
I.N
Like Seungmin, he also can't wait to have a mini him. He and his child will be so mischievous together, they will always be doing stuff like playing pranks on each other. Jeongin also has two brothers so I could see him and his bros taking his son on a classic boy's trip. He will also teach his son how to be the perfect gentleman, the two of them will always come back with flowers for mom.

Hq disability Headcanons
A somewhat detailed list of my haikyuu medical headcanons
Tumblr media
Nishinoya Yuu - Type 1 diabetes and sensory neuropathy
Was diagnosed at 5
Inherited from parents
Prefers an insulin pump to insulin injections
Diabetes causes his sensory neuropathy
Nerve damage in his arms causing bruises because he can't tell when to stop practicing
Tumblr media
Kenma Kozume - Hearing loss in both ears, noise damage
Plays games and music with the volume too high causing damage from all the years he's been doing it
Doesn't like to admit that he has hearing problems
Uses CIC (Completely In the Canal) hearing aids because they're small and unnoticeable
Also uses his hair to cover them because even when he knows they're hard to see he's still pretty self-conscious about them
Tumblr media
Tendou Satori - Vitamin B deficiency, Motor Neuropathy, Audhd
Tendou has a vitamin B12 deficiency which results in him developing peripheral neuropathy, more specifically motor neuropathy
It causes him muscle spasms/twitching and gives him a barely noticeable foot drop
I think he has Audhd and struggles with paying attention and wanting to move around a lot
He doesn't have a specific hyperfixation exactly but is full of lots of little facts about lots of things
Tumblr media
Hinata Shoyo - Audhd, Dyspraxia
I don't think i really need to explain Hinata's Audhd but I will anyways
It's one of the reasons he has so much energy while he's practicing, because he already struggles with staying still but also because it's one of his special interests
It helps him more if things are explained at the speed his brainis going instead of going slowly
I think he has Dyspraxia too because it explains a lot of his struggles in volleyball
It also ties into why the quick attack pair works so well because Hinata has to focus less on getting everything right himself and can put his attention into his motor skills
Tumblr media
Oikawa Tooru - Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is pretty common
It causes joint pain and stiffness in most cases
And it's most common in places like the knees
It's usually from old age but in Oikawa's case it's from trying to play after an injury without letting it fully heal
But he refuses to admit that he has a problem
Tumblr media
Kageyama Tobio - Dyslexia
He's incredibly dyslexic
Nobody knows though, everyone just thinks he's really dumb
He has consulted someone about it unfortunately he talked to Hinata who also has mild dyslexia mixed with the fact that his eyes won't stay on one point on his page
They both think that letters and numbers do that for everyone and that they just haven't figured out how to read it properly
Tumblr media
Ushijima Wakatoshi - Autism
Definitely autistic
Pretty high functioning though
He's pretty slow on some social cues but the basic ones have been worked out in his brain
He has quite a high tolerance for most stuff but he's not the biggest fan of messing up schedules
Tumblr media
Tsukishima Kei - Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
Was partially inherited because Akiteru showed signs of it but not enough for a diagnosis
I think he specifically has cEDS (Classical EDS) because it fits him the most
I think he's been pretty used to his joints dislocating sometimes but doesn't realise that everyoen else around him isn't
The first time Yachi saw it she almost fainted
Particularly with cEDS people have easily bruised/breakable skin on their forehead, knees, shins and elbows
He has a few pretty big scars on his knees and shins from when he was a kid
They're also quite wide because with cEDS wounds heal quite slowly and leave wide scars
Tumblr media
Bokuto Koutaro - Borderline Personality Disorder
This wasn't originally my idea (He wasn't actually going to be on here but it got pointed out to me yesterday)
BPD comes in four stages, Emotional instability, Disturbed patterns of thinking, Impulsive behaviour and Unstable relationships
With emotional instability it's usually intense negative emotions and severe mood swings which could contribute to his 'emo modes'
During disturbed patterns of thinking he'd get upsetting thoughts (like his emo mode) and hallucinations and distressing thoughts that he can't be talked out of
Impulsive behaviour is one i think he has less negatively but it's commonly negative in most cases
His impulsive behaviours are less harmful to himself and others
Unstable relationships are when he attaches himself to someone and I think that person/people would be Akaashi and Kuroo
Them trying to leave him would not go well, it's why he contacts them all the time because he doesn't like the feeling that they might leave him

ok as someone disabled with severe motor skill issues i really hate the argument that "anyone can learn art" and that it's completely accessible to everyone. it's not. there are lots of disabled folks who are getting left out of this discussion with the ableist argument that anyone can do art and if you can't you're just not trying hard enough (which is an argument a lot of abled people tend to use against disabled folks in general). i'm against ai art and will never use it but we have got to stop acting like art is an accessible hobby to everyone because there is unfortunately a lot of people who would love to become artists but will never be able to because of our disabilities.
Tumblr media
nah you right! I try to be mindful of that sort of thing but it does admittedly fly under my radar at times because I'm not someone living with a physical disability (and thus it's not as front-of-mind as someone who is) so thanks for catching me on that, many apologies. My argument was regarding the people I've seen who have exclusively used "well I've tried to learn how to draw and it's hard / took too much time / etc." as their driving argument (of which there are just. so many) when like. these are realities for many artists who have been doing this for years, too, including those who are disabled. yeah, making art takes time and practice and a lot of hard work! welcome to the party LOL
but I also understand how keeping that argument so simplified can be exclusionary to those who do genuinely face barriers when pursuing art due to living with disabilities. I've met and observed the work of many disabled artists - webcomic artists, game designers, musicians, etc. - who are out there making their stuff and it comes with all its own unique struggles that shouldn't be forgotten about or overlooked in the discussion regarding AI art, struggles that bar many people from even getting into making art from the starting gun.
I do genuinely believe that art can come from anywhere, that anyone is capable of expressing themselves through whatever medium that compels them... but you're right that many artistic mediums in and of themselves are not wholly accessible to everyone. And I hope to god that more tools are developed to help those who are both working artists as well as aspiring ones.
But AI, in its current state, just isn't one of them. And I'm seeing this sentiment being yelled from the rooftops by many disabled artists who firmly believe that the ends do not justify the means - that they don't want the medium to become more accessible if it comes at the cost of other artists (many who are disabled themselves!) whose work and livelihoods are being replaced with cheap carbon copies. AI art doesn't allow anyone to actually participate in the joy of creating straight from the heart, it just takes from others' joy and spits it back out with an impression of what it thinks the joy of creation is supposed to look like through lifeless pixels. That's not even getting into just how much damage it's already actively causing to our environment, and how quickly AI has started to replace other surrounding industries as well.
Separately from that, you're right, paying for art is a luxury for many, but that's all the more reason why we shouldn't be supporting the current climate surrounding AI IMO which is the crux of what my argument was in that previous Simpsons meme post. Many people do face severe limitations in trying to create their art; the people I'm referring to who are heavily pro-AI are often not those same people and only face the limitations of their own entitlement, which is destroying the livelihoods of many human artists. Is it worth participating in AI art to save money if that same participation perpetuates a growing system that's costing people their livelihoods?
Maybe some day we'll get AI tools that are less predatory and destructive and help those who want to create art do so. Maybe we'll finally get some stricter regulations around what companies are allowed to get away with in their respective industries. I'd like to think also that the rise of AI art will, by extension, make human-made art all the more valuable. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish for tools that made making webcomics just a teeeeny bit more efficient without being completely unethical LOL But until any of those scenarios prove to be true, we're dealing with a monster of our own design that will never stop eating even after we've all been consumed. The toothpaste is out of the tube.

They grabbed some of the photos attached in the previews! <3 (All of our CC can be found by typing " Donut " into the search bar! All 8 items are New meshes, and have all shadows and LODs. There is a slight glitch in the shadows on a few objects, but it only occurs BEFORE placing them down in game. Once they are placed, they are perfectly fine! you can find examples in images! <3
Infants that can sit up can play with all block items, toddlers can play too! Most of my images have my reshade on - it changes the color minimally, so white may look a little off in photos, but in game it will look white/normal!! In images you can find the non-reshade example! <3 You can size them up and down using the bracket keys. [ ] <- these ones.  I personally, use the tool mod to size my items up and down, and specifically with these if you are wanting them to be "perfectly sized" i would recommend you grab the tool mod by twistedmexi! If you would like to use it in build-buy mode, you'll need BBB!)Re-colors, and using this item as a mesh/base is fully allowed! you can include the mesh, and do what you please with the item, as long as you link back to the original. There are posts for all of our cc on our main 3 platforms (Tumblr, curseforge, patreon. ), So there is no reason not to link back!
Will be releasing more content soon! stay tuned! ❤️ (NOT affiliated with EA or Maxis in any way! Hi there! Your dbhc au is lovely and I love it very much! Between base level knowledge of hermitcraft, base level knowledge of detroit: become human from rtgame’s playthrough, and extra extra headcannons about deviancy and all that that entails (I forgot androids can’t eat… the post-game au that I love and follow made it so that they could haha…) I love the way you’ve incorporated androids and deviancy to hermitcraft!!!! Not to mention how electric (pun intended) your art is!!!! <3
One question! Are we working with minecraft death mechanics (aka respawn)? What happens when the androids shut down, normally? It’s just a reboot them type of scenario?
(ignore how long I scrolled down your blog for uh haha… oooo you did not see the timestamps of the posts i reboggled ooo /j)
First of all!!! Thank you so much for your kind words!!! <3 Delighted to report that probably at some point doc and xisuma will develop some kind of way for the android hermits to have the option of eating food… I don’t really have any idea of when that happens in the timeline though LOL
The respawn mechanics question is super interesting!! the way I see it in my head, yes… yeah I think respawning is a thing, some kind of magical innate quality of the world I suppose, connected to whitelisted players/entities or what have you. Naturally, when Xisuma begins to “whitelist” deviated androids, it establishes them as players part of the world, the same way the other hermits are! I think in my brain, most respawns in general are inconsequential… in the way that players don’t necessarily retain scars when they die and respawn, unless it’s a particularly painful or meaningful death? That’s kind of how I’ve always seen respawning anyway!
So when it comes to the androids, I think when Xisuma whitelisted them/ reprogrammed them as player entities on the server, he also programmed a way for androids to detect… things that would normally do damage to biotic/ organic players, in a superficial “taking damage” sense? So while androids don’t necessarily feel… “pain,” they have a pain sensor/set of hearts like normal players that will “go down” the same way a normal player’s would even if their shells aren't taking lasting physical damage that would require tangible repair. They aren’t completely removed from the damage, though, because I think Xisuma probably also works up some kind of system that would create similar “feelings” that a player might feel when taking damage? For example, as an android takes “damage,” it might trigger a certain fear, panic, or surprise response (such as up-ticks in thirium pump rate, a slight degradation in motility functions (like fumbling with motor skills when you’re nervous/panicking), or brief stalls in processing power (the same way you might hesitate in surprise)). So even if they don’t feel pain the same way, their experience would pretty closely mimic pain responses in humans/organic players!
The vessels themselves are harder to explain I suppose… such as a body being left behind on a server when a player can’t respawn, but you could probably explain the androids the same way you would explain other player respawn mechanics, like a body disappearing when a player “‘chooses to respawn,” stuff like that.
“Shutting Down” tends to be treated differently than dying or respawning, though. A shutdown is most similar to a permanent death, unless an android is voluntarily rebooting, in which case they would probably use the word “reboot” rather than shutdown. For sleeping or other “low-power” modes, androids kind of go into “low-function” states that have specific protocols and stuff like that, some kind of stasis state that xisuma or doc have programmed specifically to mimic sleep. Shutdowns usually only happen when an android loses the ability to function, somehow. Runs too low on thirium to function, self-destructs from stress, any other reason an android would stop working all together and require maintenance to turn back on. So when Etho shuts down at the end of s8 it’s because he doesn’t realize he has a been leaking thirium for so long and ends up not being able to function, and when Xisuma/Doc shut him down at the end of Destruction, it’s a force-shut down (you’ll see how soon enough LMAO).
THATS SUCH A LONG RAMBLE LOL but hopefully that answers your questions!! I’m gonna go back and start tagging posts like this with #dbhc mechanics for anyone who is curious about the application of androids on the server :]

Happy Hifuumo Friday everyone!
It's been a mostly quiet week for me. Save for a a visit to a speech therapist, not much happened because my sleep schedule being destroyed by a newfound Minecraft addiction.
In my defense, playing games with you friends is fun!!!
Tumblr media
But what was nice is discovering that there was nothing actually wrong with my motor skills, they just weren't developed right.
A few months back on that trip to Seattle a friend noticed how I struggled to slurp the soup we were eating.
Tumblr media
I thought it could have been a motor control problem and as it turns out it wasn't; I just don't know how to swallow puréed/slightly puréed substances!
The test that was done was with different foods, and the only one that I similarly struggled with was the apple sauce.
Tumblr media
Both it and the soup triggered my gag reflex when I tried to swallow because I wasn't doing it properly. But otherwise, there was nothing actually /wrong/ with my swallowing motions. Since it wasn't a motor control problem the only way to learn is through trial and error.
Tumblr media
This problem was a self-fueling one that started from "Well, she doesn't like to eat this kind of food" which resulted in me not eating that kind food, which resulted in me not learning how to eat that kind of food.
Which brings me to now, wanting to eat that kind of food.
Tumblr media
Next time we go grocery shopping, I'm going to add different kinds of broths and get started with that. The speech therapist mentioned how she has a similar problem and actually drinks soup from a cup. I /probably/ won't do that but I'll keep it in the back of my mind.
Tumblr media
I feel a little embarrassed about it, but I'd rather be embarrassed and learn than be stuck in the past, never growing or improving.
Next time, I want to be able to enjoy the soup with my friends.
But until then, I love you all, have a great day/night!

bonjour, i'm from vancouver but i have the worst sleep schedule ever so with onhockey dot tv by my side i'm abt to get into the aihl. who should i root for
BONSOIR!!! rip sleep schedule . I am a devout CBR Brave blog so, there’s only one answer here <3 some propaganda for you
i have personally met our starting goaltender Aleksi Toivonen and he’s a big sweetie . it was during this year’s off-season in uhhh february? and he was hanging out at our rink getting his reps in. i barely knew about the team back then so when he said he played for them i was like !!! and he let me take a very blurry photo 🫶
we’ve always been kinda good in a way that makes people a bit mad LMAO!!! won our first Goodall Cup 2018? so if you wanna root for the team where everyone’s praying for your downfall… get in here <3
on the topic of always being good; we’re so stacked that when IIHF Worlds is on, our roster gets STRIPPED because we have a lot of Australia’s best players! this year it happened and resulted in . um. a 9 game loss streak? <3 we were DEAD last in the league for a while. but the boys came back and we clawed our way to 2nd place in our conference pretty neatly
despite being so good, our rink is SHIT. i’m so serious. as a local, i’ve been to it and skated on it. god. soft, bewretched, small ice. there’s a fucking TRENCH between the boards and the ice too… like you could lose a small earring down that gap 😭 AND during intermission our zamboni does her best but often we have issues with flooding. smallest ice surface and smallest barn in the AIHL i do believe! this is because there’s been a decades-long power struggle between the owners and the government. (the streets are saying it has also historically been a pretty unfriendly place to the hockey players because the owner’s wife was a figure skater so her and her people always got preferential treatment LMAO) ANYWAY the propaganda part is . we play and practice on this ice and in this shitty old barn and we are still TORCHING the league <3 in a way i feel like we are the scrappy underdogs (we are not. but. we are to ME!!) anyway imagine what we could do with real facilities jskdjshsklff
canberra’s a small world so this team is just a bunch of brothers playing hockey together,, i’m SO serious. we got FOUR kubara brothers !! TWO miettinen brothers. and 2 Yorks !!! GONGEOUS NEPOBABIES..!!!
we just signed Austin Cangelosi and he’s boybestfriends with our guy Jake Ratcliffe and i love seeing them gossip on the ice like two girls at a slumber party. Cangelosi is 5’7 and got 🤏 this close to the NHL during a time where size was absolutely everything. i have the scouting notes from his draft year, and his overage draft years — i think if he’d come up in this era somebody would’ve taken a shot at him in like the 5th-7th round?? but alas. smash cut to now: he’s a small, fast, skilled player and has a relentless motor. if he stays with us next year he probably contends for most points in the league. he’s very good and fun and i louve heem…
i was talking shit about the Brave Cave but i love her so bad. we have new management who i deeply despise on a moral level because they’re a property development/building company, but aside from that they’ve put staff in place to make the vibes of pre/post games SO good. we’re hoping with this acquisition we will finally get the new rink we were promised in uhhhhh 2017. but who CARE!!! right now the capacity in the Cave is about 500, but it is apparently THEE most miserable place to play in as a travelling team. we’re a very rowdy crowd. we don’t boo our guys. we are deeply intimidating down to the last small child in CBR Brave facepaint.
on the topic of vibes: there are a few personalities at the rink who are pretty much fixtures. 1) the Cow Bell Guy; which is what it says on the tin. he brings a cow bell to every game and clangs it whenever something cool happens. when i say every game i mean like. i’ve seen him on monday nights when our beer league teams play godbless. (chatted to him a few times, his kid is a hockey fanatic and an ipad baby LMAO). 2) the Screamer; also what it says on the tin. Legend has it about 15 years ago she discovered hockey in an Autism Way and now she attends every home game and stands in the exact same corner. she heckles the SHIT out of the opposing team and honestly it would be kinda offputting if it was my team she was yelling at but she’s on MY side and so she’s a hero to me <3 i initially thought she was an overenthusiastic WAG or something but. no. she’s just on the hockey freak juice.
anyway. root for MY team. CBR BRAVE BEST TEAM OF ALL TIME EVER EVER EVER AND WE GOING TO THE CUP!!!!!
jokes aside please choose whatever team u like and have fun <3

Don't forget Omega is a strategist all on her own
Spoilers for "Into the Breach" episode of the Bad Batch
I keep seeing people say that Omega using the blocks and strategizing is something she got from her brothers. While Omega has undoubtedly learned tactics from her brothers, it was already established in season 1 that Omega was proficient in strategy games ON HER OWN.
In fact, it's a surprise to both Cid and Hunter.
While we don't know much of Omega's early life with Nala Se and Azi, it's very likely she was given strategy games by Nala Se to occupy her time, especially as we know Nala Se was offworld often.
Omega has taughter HERSELF how to play strategy games, and think outside the box. She did this before she met the Bad Batch as adults.
On a side note, I believe Nala Se helped the children in Mt Tantiss on her own by also providing them with games. In this episode, we see that Emerie has continued that, and is taking claim for it as well to Dr. Scalder, noting that she wants them to engage their minds.
The Empire only cares about the children for the blood they have. They don't care about the children as people. I think Nala Se has given them some games to keep their mind's growing, but Emerie has provided a few more games it would seem in Into the Breach.
Space Jenga helps develop fine motor skills and patience. The building blocks encourage creativity, and helps an asute Omega craft a blueprint of escape.
Dr. Hemlock doesn't realize it, but he has a master strategist in the room, and he doesn't know that Emerie Karr is girlbossing/gatekeeping/gaslighting as Nala Se has been doing for years.
The children's games are keeping the kids from getting too mentally dull and too bored.

To all Game Masters with artist players
GMs may be unsure of why an artist is drawing during a game session. To avoid any misunderstandings, let me explain! What it really means: ♥ we're inspired and encaptured by the story (and we're in it!!) ♥ we're taming our scattering brains with a simple motor skill (drawing) to solely focus on the game What it does not mean: ⌧ the game is boring and we need a distraction I know that this might seem contradictory, but artist's brain focuses best when they're stimulated with their personal interests, and it's exactly what's happening in a ttrpg session! We love you. Thank you for allowing us to be in your game and develop one of those brainchilds we cherised and finally gave them a purpose. Eternally grateful, from the bottom of our hearts! ♥

Yeah so I decided to update Susan's ref sheet because oh my god it's so fucking ugly-
But yeah, I'm much more satisfied with this one because I've developed my style for drawing these fuckers a lot better and the pose radiates more personality.
Old ref: https://www.tumblr.com/magewolf-the-artist/743345425139040256/on-this-episode-of-walten-files-brainrot-heyyyyyy?source=share
Here's her bio with a couple add-ons:
Apparently she's British (Her accent is still a mystery to me but I've seen a couple people say this so ehhhh). So my headcanon is that her family immigrated to the US when she was four, so while she does have an accent, she doesn't really say any slang. Occasionally she might call someone a twit (affectionate) or a twat (derogatory), but that's about it.
At some point during her fun little maze adventure, the neck cables that held up the animatronic head snapped due to the constant pressure of Susan's broken ass neck forcing her head to loll to the side. While at the facility she found that she can use metal ties to hold the cables upright. She has to tighten them constantly though or else her vision will be forced into portrait mode
Ashley fixed the cable while she, Kevin, and Hilary were there and Susan is forever grateful to her
She probably accidently breaks it again through something stupid like bumping her head against the door frame or something and boy oh boy was she PISSED
On that topic, she tries her best to upkeep her and everyone else's bodies but there's only so much she can do with limited tools and slightly worse motor skills (imagine doing a task that requires very precise movements through winter gloves and you'll pretty much get the idea)
She refuses to repair Bon though and tells him to figure it out himself.
She's become way more snappy, short tempered, and easily frustrated after her death. Trauma, baby!
Susan kinda acts as a shoulder to vent to whenever anyone needs to talk. She can’t really offer much in response or comfort since A, she’s the type to push things away and compartmentalize, and B… well, she can’t exactly promise everything’s gonna be okay, now can she? Still, sometimes it’s nice to just talk
Some days though she just kinda… shuts down emotionally. Just kinda lays on the floor and can’t find any motivation to get up or do anything. Thinking about everything and nothing at the same time, staring blankly into space
Charles usually stays with her during these episodes and depending on the day, he either just sits with her quietly or rambles about random shit like he did when they were alive
Her sleep schedule was super fucked up when they all came to the facility because she was used to being up and around at night. It's gotten better but she still sometimes wakes up buttfuck early and has come to appreciate the serenity of the nights (RETCONNED)
Probably the most casual about her death, as opposed to Rosemary's crying and Charles desperately trying to change the subject
She walks with a very distinctive shuffle, something she picked up from her fun little maze adventure because the weird shuffle walk helped lessen the pain she put herself through and conserved energy. It used to be a lot more pronounced but it's faded slightly overtime
Usually hangs out with Charles
Is constantly exasperated by Charles' antics
To pass the time she either plays card games with Charles or organizes the tools in the maintenance closet
She tried to talk to Rosemary when they were first brought to the K-9 facility but only got silence in return. She's kinda just given up now and mostly leaves her alone
Is the most familiar with Bon's abilities and didn't even bother trying to escape the facility because she knew it was futile
Helps coach everyone but Rocket on how to move
When helping Ashley figure out to move she probably made an off-handed comment like, "if you think that's hard, imagine having to learn how to do this while being alive" and only realized Ashley had no context for that when she gave her a very confused and worried look
Hates Bon's guts and is usually annoyed/angry with him
She also hates Felix's guts, but everyone does so it's not anything special.

Heya, for the ask meme I was wondering about #25? Spector wants know about #24?
We both hope the migraine goes away soon!
Thank you both; you're very kind.
24. how do you recharge when you’re not feeling creative?
I mentioned it somewhat in this ask, but sure I've got other outlets.
One of the other things I like to do when I'm not feeling creative is embroidery. I taught myself cross stitch (via kits but now I can work directly from patterns) and now I'm teaching myself more traditional embroidery (also via kits). Unfortunately, I don't know if the style has a name. It's the kind where you make satin stitches.
I'm working my way up so that I attempt other styles like blackwork and goldwork.
Embroidery is helping me develop fine motor skills, because, I have to be honest with you, I'm a clumsy bastard.
25. besides writing, what are your other hobbies?
Excluding video games and embroidery, I quite like cooking.
Am I good at it? I don't think so but people love eating my food, so I clearly did something right.
I chiefly make American and Ashkenazi foods, but I like learning to make foods from other cuisines (especially anything spicy) so I know a smattering of other dishes as well along with experimenting with vegan/vegetarian alternative ingredients in addition to regular meat and dairy.
