the multigender system experience is like identifying with genderqueer experiences outside of/contradictory to your body. Like cause you got alters who are not the same gender as the body... and you're like... why do i relate to transfem and femboy type experiences when the body is afab...? its cause your alters arent all cis, honey. nor are they all female. some are guys. and some exist in a feminine body, and therefore have an interesting male-centered genderqueer experience because they're guys who are also girls. external wise... we look like a girl, but on the inside, its not the same thing.
And for some systems, they see themselves as transmasc bc of that. Some male alters will have dysphoria in a different body, and that's okay. And they identify that way.
But for me, in my system, guy alters often see themselves as cis, so when those guy alters end up experimenting with gender, or relate to characters or people online who have feminine traits while being a guy, or have a feminine body while feeling amab, it can get really messy in here.
And I think to singlets/non-systems, that's an experience nobody really knows about. Even binary systems don't really get it. But we are multigender because we are sometimes multiple genders at once, multiple alters fronting at the same time, or an alter in a unique situation that makes them inherently genderqueer.
So shoutout to genderqueer, multigender, and nonbinary systems. I'm in your boat, it's weird to have a contradictory identity, but it's also kind of freeing. It's freeing to not really have to be binary and have to stick with one way of being. If I'm nonbinary, I can virtually do, and be whatever I want.

By the way, if we really want to decouple sex from gender (which we do, right?), y'all need to stop telling multigender people that they can't call certain aspects of their gender trans if it maybe aligns with their gender assigned at birth as given by a total fucking stranger when they were a baby.
My trans identity is multigender. inside that, I am a man, a woman, nonbinary, and a variety of flow states between. Every single aspect of this is trans. My man parts are trans, my woman parts are trans, my nonbinary parts are trans.
I once saw someone say "You shouldn't call yourself a trans woman if you're an afab girl. you can call yourself a demigirl, but not a trans woman. that word's not for you." but is demigirl not a trans identity? What if that "demigirl" wants to be a demiwoman? What if she doesn't want to let a stranger dictate how she labels her gender, again? Does she not have the right to identify herself as a woman with a trans identity?
I'm a woman with a trans identity. I'm a man with a trans identity. We call these kinds of people trans women, and trans men, respectively. It does not take anything away from anybody else to utilise language in this way, in the same way that it does not inherently take anything away from cis men and womens' genders for trans people to exist.
I find the hostility I've encountered absolutely unwarranted, and it feels like most of it stems from some caricature of an idea of what I am rather than an honest and open minded attempt to understand why someone would identify this way - a feeling that, I'm sure, is familiar to any trans person who has tried to explain themselves to a person who already had a hostile concept of trans people to begin with.
A lot of this discussion about AFAB transfems and AMAB transmascs is being had by intersex advocates who are often detailing how AGAB tells you far less information than perisex people think about someone's life experience, and you should really be fucking listening to them about this. If you are a perisex queer person, you need to be listening to intersex advocates YESTERDAY. But they are NOT the only people in this realm - multigender people exist, and we have every right to call our genders trans, because they fucking are. I'm not suddenly cis when I'm woman-mode, that would be absurd to assume. I'm still trans, and a woman, at the same time, and I should be able to say so without facing backlash from my community. That shit fucking hurts. We are people who have gone on often long and difficult journeys to find our genders, just like most trans people, and the fact that we are so constantly talked over and talked shit about and harassed about the words we use to discuss our relationship with gender is just so sickening honestly.
Change your hearts or die mad, because gender freaks are going to keep doing gender freak shit forever, and the only thing you can do about it is enforce social shame and bioessentialism. Not a good look, and it won't work forever.

Hi. I’m currently questioning maybe being multigender.
I scrolled through the questioning tag on a couple multigender blogs. I got to try out the label. Try out different pronouns. But I don’t feel like I can.
I’m a headmate. My job is to approximate the host as best as possible. To take over when I can’t trust them to be alone with the body, and to pretend to be them. I don’t feel like I’m allowed to use my own pronouns, experiment with my own presentation. The host is a binary man, so that’s my job too. To approximate that.
I don’t know. I feel kind of powerless.
you are 100% allowed to have your own identity and accept being multi-gender regardless of what the host identifies as or you have to act like when in front.
Despite being a singlet, I'm aware things can get tricky especially with the extra masking systems often need to use, but you are your own person and as such are free to express yourself as much as anyone else. If it's possible for how your system currently works, i'd suggest maybe communicating with your host over this???? I feel like maybe that could have the potential to help or at least give you someone to talk things through with.

What does it mean to be amab/coffee bean transmasc, and why might an amab individual identify as transmasc?
To be amab transmasc simply put, is just that, someone who was assigned male at birth, but feels transmasculine in some way. This includes intersex individuals as well. Identifying as transmasc when you're amab typically indicates a unique experience with masculinity that is difficult to otherwise describe.
Someone who was afab may also use this label due to being intersex, agabpunk, a system, etc. People assigned afab or intersex should not be excluded, as this label includes any and all people with unique and otherwise unexplainable relationships to their transmasculinity.
There are many reasons someone might identify as coffee bean transmasc, including, but not limited to:
The individual may be intersex, labeled as or raised as a different sex than male, making them feel trans. Some may feel a disconnect from masculinity because their physical bodies are not what people would describe as masculine/male, or they are not typically seen/recognized as male.
The individual may have transitioned to or came out as another gender, before realizing that they actually are still male/masculine to some capacity, whether partially or fully.
The individual may have questioned or misunderstood their own gender identity for a period of time, making them feel disconnected from masculinity in some way.
The individual(s) may be plural/a system with transmasc alters, even though the physical body is male. There may be other experiences with being plural/a system that makes the individual(s) experience masculinity in a unique way.
The individual may be alterhuman or nonhuman, whether fully or partially, making them perceive their masculinity/maleness differently than how humans would. There may be other experiences with being nonhuman/alterhuman that make the individual connect with masculinity in a unique way as well.
The individual may be multigender, being male or masculine along with other genders.
The individual may be genderfluid, being male or masculine only sometimes.
The individual may be only partially male or otherwise disconnected from traditional masculinity, while still being male/masculine (demiboy, boyflux, nonbinary man, neoboy, etc.).
This is by no means a full list, there may be many more reasons for an individual to be coffeebean transmasc, but those are some examples and reasons of why one could be a coffeebean transmasc. None of these experiences are "wrong" or invalid, there is no "right" way to be coffeebean transmasc, and each one's individual experiences and journey should be respected. As long as the term is used in good faith, no reason for someone to identify as coffee bean transmasc is any more or less valid than any other reason.

I’m not sure if there’s any rules on your profile i tried looking for them but couldn’t find them, so I don’t know if you’re giving advice, but I decided to ask anyways..
So l'm a Trigender AFAB and I have a boyfriend (Cishet.). Since I'm Trigender I personally identify with both being a female, male and non-binary. However this is where the situation gets awkward. I love my boyfriend a lot, but he insists he's straight and dating me is not 'Gay’??
But it causes me to feel dysphoric as I get dysphoric when I remember that I am born a girl and look like one (It makes me feel uncomfortable with my body when l'm not looking all three.) If you get what I'm saying? (Sorry if it's confusing)
He also uses strictly She/Her pronouns with me (I use He/She/They/It plus Neos.) and calls me all sorts of feminine things. I do Like feminine compliments and titles! However when he insists he's straight even though I'm not JUST a girl it makes me feel bad. I don't want to break up with him and I worry about making him uncomfortable if I ask him to call me gender neutral things or masculine things. So is there a way I can stop feeling this dysphoric feeling?? Or at least subdue it..
(Not sure if you like sign offs for anons but if you do I claim these two emoji's lol: -🌷🫧 as I feel like I'll be asking a LOT of questions here.. sorry if this was stupid, I’m not the smartest LMFAO)
hello anon! that sounds like a difficult situation, i think the best step is to tell your boyfriend this. explain to him how gender and dysphoria works for you, and why his treatment of your gender makes you feel bad and how he can change. i’d say your boyfriend needs to get better at dealing with gnc and genderqueer identities rather than you learning how to ignore your dysphoria. don’t worry about making him uncomfortable- if you don’t like how he’s treating you, even if it’s minor, you shouldn’t feel bad about communicating that.
