you can send in/link a post you already made or just make a brand new introduction to your OC and their lore, as in depth or simple as you like! and we will share it so more people can have a chance to see. we want to be your microphone to spread the news of your characters, new or old, serious or silly, dramatic or simple, elaborate or otherwise. we can also share links to things like webcomics, games, or other amazing things you've made or started making that star those ocs!

this blog is a curated gallery of your creative excitement. it is not a place to take other people's ideas or art, of course. let's share with the intention of also making others feel seen and heard, and make it a positive space for finding new creators to hype up. none of these characters belong to this blog, which should be clear. all art and ideas will be clearly sourced, and if you want more, you can follow the creator that is linked. for that reason, we will not take anonymous submissions of characters-- however, the ask box will be open for your thoughts. it would be lovely to connect people looking for collaborators! to be clear, fan characters are allowed (ie a character that you created, but that goes with an existing property)

we will tag content as appropriately as possible. if you would like to add on to your post or share that you have commissions open, we would be happy to spread that as well.

feel free to use your own art, art that was made for you (with permission and credit, please), or art made with a tool like picrew. we will also share picrew makers that help us with the creative process! your post does not have to have art, either, but it may help in getting others excited for your ideas.

PiCrew Alternative: Neka

I’m seeing a lot of posts promoting PiCrew in creating your OC’s instead of relying on generative AI, and I totally agree. However, I find PiCrew quite limited when it comes to fantasy designs for clothes, and the skin tone options also tend to be mainly on the fair side, which is a big problem for me as my characters aren’t Western.

So may I introduce to you another option: Neka

Neka is from China, and it works a lot like PiCrew.

Concept art for my JimmyTimmy fan-kid Hannah, from my ongoing fic only have a moment before it's all over (a burning desire that cries again)

Some Hannah tidbits:

born when Timmy was eighteen and Jimmy was nineteen 

loves reading fantasy novels (the bulkier the better!) 

very emotionally sensitive

wants to be a stage magician when she grows up 

grew up in Retroville

her primary caregivers are Jimmy and his parents (Timmy, due to external circumstances beyond his control, has been MIA her entire life)

likes to bake with Nana Neutron. 

has a somewhat complicated relationship with her Dad.

they love each other, and they get along for the most part, but her Dad’s refusal to tell her anything about her Papa is starting to weigh heavy in Hannah’s mind and Hannah’s heart.

while not quite inheriting her Dad's genius intellect or his love of science, she's still vastly more intelligent than her peers at school.

one of the only things Jimmy ever told her about Timmy was that he liked magic. Ever since she's practically been obsessed with anything to do with it (hence her love of fantasy and stage magic)

Be aware that the animal face replaces the lower half of the face, and you cannot combine human noses and mouths with the animal faces.

Make A Magical Girl!! 1/??? - Dream Maker White Dwarf

One thing I've recently been super nostalgic for is dress up games online! I thought it would be fun to occasionally make some magical girls (boys/enbies) based on and inspired by these dolls!

For this first one I was playing around with the Dream Maker on Azalea's Dolls. I used that as inspiration and kept the idea of a space themed magical girl, named White Dwarf! I like to think her and the others call themselves Dream Makers (like the doll maker!), little space cherubs that help children sleep who are afraid of sleeping alone and find homes for lost stars and planets.
