Imagine that James wants to surprise Sirius for his birthday or anniversary for something and Regulus is trying to be a better brother - James secretly meets up with him to discuss the secrets.
And what James doesn't know is that Sirius is using Remus to do the same thing (since James doesn't have a brother).
But the two are suspicious and the only reason they don't assume cheating is becuase James and Sirius would never.
So when they're like:
"What are you doing with Remus all the time?"
"Nothing, what are you doing with Regulus all the time?"
"Nothing."
They stare at each other for some time before Sirius is like "I know you'd never cheat on me-"
"-especially not with Regulus, of all people," James finishes and shivers.
(In the background, Regulus says, "oi!")
"But I need to know what is going on."
"Its a secret!"
"We don't keep secrets, James!"
"Then what are you doing with Remus all the time - I know he's not on your would fuck list."
("Why not?" Remus asks in the background).
"Its a surprise."
They start arguing the point until R&R very annoyed that they could never stand a chance with J&S yell about helping with anniversary surprises and storm off.
Relieved, prongsfoot kiss and make-up.

adventures in teaching
“Sirius Ambrose Black!”
Sirius chokes and drops his cigarette, which he quickly crushes beneath the heel of his boot.
“Oh, hey, Moons,” he says casually, waving a hand to wandlessly clear the cigarette smoke from the air and his clothing. Remus glares at him.
“You quit.”
“Yeah, I know, I just.” Sirius rubs the back of his neck. “Harry’s teacher wants to talk to us! Harry’s never been in trouble at school before. What could he possibly have done that requires both of us to be here?”
“Well, we won’t know if we don’t go in, will we?”
“S’pose not,” Sirius says sullenly. “Wait, Ambrose?”
“Your middle name is shit. I gave you a new one.”
“Think you can do better than Ambrose, Moony.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, Lord Black,” Remus says as Sirius pulls open the door for him. “How about Cosmo?”
“No.”
“Hamish?”
“No.”
“Zephyr?”
“Let’s just get on with this, shall we?”
---
“Thank you for meeting me,” Miss Coburn says, gesturing for Sirius and Remus to have a seat in two of the child-sized chairs in front of her.
“We’re happy to,” Sirius says. “To be honest, though, we’re a little surprised to hear that Harry’s done something that requires his teacher having to speak to us.”
“Harry’s not in trouble,” Miss Coburn assures them. “He’s a smart young man, and generally well-behaved in class.”
“Generally?” Remus asks.
“Yes, and that’s what I wanted to talk to you about. Harry has a tendency to, well, disrespect authority when it doesn’t suit his purposes,” Miss Coburn says. “It doesn’t happen often, but it has happened enough that I wanted it brought to your attention.”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, for instance, he didn’t approve of today’s snack, so he organized the whole class to go on a snack strike until they were fed something he liked better.”
Sirius smothers a laugh behind his hand. Next to him, he can feel Remus’s shoulders shake with repressed laughter.
“I’m…sorry to hear that,” he manages. “Er, did it work?”
Miss Coburn gives him an unimpressed look. “I hardly think that is the point, Lord Black.”
“No, I suppose not.” Sirius will have to ask Harry about this later tonight. “What else has he done?”
“He has organized the class in similar fashion over the past few weeks. If he doesn’t approve of the game we’re about to play or the book we’re supposed to read together, he organizes all the children against me. I wonder if you might have a word with him about this behavior?”
“Yes, yes, of course,” Sirius says quickly. They need to get out of here, fast, before he bursts into uncontrollable laughter. “We’ll--we’ll definitely speak to him about this. And, er, it won’t happen again.”
Once outside, they both dissolve into laughter, leaning against the school’s brick wall and wheezing.
“He gets it from you, you know,” Sirius manages finally.
“Me?”
“Yes, you, Mr. Hot Shot Werewolf Activist who has been taking Harry to rallies and protests since he was five months old.”
“What about you, Lord Black, who takes Harry to Wizengamot sessions and to your shouting matches with the Minister?”
“Right, so this one is on both of us, then.”
“Probably.” Remus nudges his shoulder. “You really do have to quit, you know.”
“Quit what?”
“Smoking. At least for the next, oh, seven months.”
Sirius’s head snaps up. “You’re--?”
“Yeah.” Remus bites his bottom lip, which doesn’t do much to keep his grin at bay. “We just found out last week.”
“Moony!” Sirius grabs him around the waist and spins him in a circle. “A whole week! And you didn’t tell me?”
“We wanted to be sure, and--and I don’t know how I’m going to break the news to Harry.”
Sirius sets him back on his feet. “Hey. We’ll figure that out, okay? You and me, together. Besides, Harry will be thrilled to have a sibling.”
---
Remus is stretched out on the couch with his feet in Sirius’s lap when an owl swoops into the room. Sirius is busy rubbing Remus’s swollen feet, so Remus takes the letter from the owl and opens it.
“Bad news?” Sirius asks when Remus groans and throws an arm over his eyes.
“Harry’s teacher wants to talk to us again,” he says, holding up the letter for Sirius to read.
Sirius skims the letter, his lips thinning. Harry’s practically an angel at home. He doesn’t understand how the boy manages to cause so much trouble at school, especially at only six years old! He expects this behavior when Harry is a teenager at Hogwarts, not right now.
“I’ll go,” he says, but Remus swings his legs off Sirius’s lap and works himself into a sitting position.
“I’m coming, too.”
“Are you sure?” Sirius offers him a hand up. Remus winces, resting one hand on his belly and the other on his lower back.
“Positive. Just, ah, give me a second to catch my breath.”
Sirius drives them to the school in his car, since magical methods of transportation are currently off-limits to Remus. Remus has his cane tonight, and he also accepts Sirius’s arm for extra support. His hips have always bothered him, and the added weight of the little one isn’t helping.
Inside the classroom, Sirius transforms one of the child-sized chairs into a comfortable armchair for Remus, who lowers himself into it gratefully. Miss Coburn gives him a warm smile.
“I’m sorry to call you both in like this,” she says. “But thank you for coming. Mr. Lupin, how are you feeling?”
“Let’s just say I’m counting down the days,” Remus says, rubbing his side with a wince.
“Harry is, too. He tells me he’ll have a little brother in May?”
Remus perks up a bit. “He talks about the baby?”
“He does. He’s very excited.”
“Well, that’s a relief. He doesn’t talk much about the baby at home. It’s hard to know what he’s thinking.”
“But you didn’t call us here to talk about that,” Sirius says, and Miss Coburn shakes her head.
“No, I’m afraid not. We had show-and-tell today.”
Sirius’s stomach sinks. “Yes, and Harry brought his toy motorbike to show the class.”
“He didn’t,” Miss Coburn says, and she pulls a box out from under her desk, setting it in front of them. “Harry brought a Boggart.”
“He what?” Sirius exclaims while Remus groans and buries his face in his hands. “He didn’t release it, did he?”
“He opened the box, yes,” Miss Coburn says. “Thankfully, as I was closest to it, it turned into a seal, which all of the children found positively delightful. I cast the Patronus charm and got it back into its box, and then we had a discussion about fear. It turned out well, all things considered, but I’m concerned that one of my students was able to bring a Boggart to school.”
Sirius turns to Remus. “Yes, Da, tell me how Harry got his hands on a Boggart?”
Remus lifts his head from his hands, looking sheepish. “I caught it in the attic last week. I was keeping it in that box on my desk until I had a chance to take it to South America and release it on the reserve down there. Er…sorry.”
“So we’re going to keep Da’s office locked from now on,” Sirius says, rolling his eyes. “And I need to thoroughly inspect Harry’s backpack every time I bring him to school, apparently.”
---
Harry has Miss Coburn again the next year, to Harry’s delight and Sirius and Remus’s relief. At least Miss Coburn understands their eccentric child, and has taken everything Harry’s done in class so far in stride. Sirius can’t imagine having a conversation like the Boggart one with any other teacher.
He’s in his office at the Ministry when his secretary pokes their head into the room and informs him that he has a Floo call from Miss Coburn. All she tells him is that she needs to see him as soon as possible, so Sirius grabs his cloak and rushes off to the school.
“Is Harry alright?” he asks as he runs into the classroom.
“Yes, Lord Black, of course,” Miss Coburn says, gesturing for him to have a seat. “His grandmother picked him up earlier. But we had an incident that I wanted to discuss with you.”
“Of course you did,” Sirius sighs. “What’s the little menace done now?”
The classroom door opens then, and Remus hurries in with a wailing Teddy in his arms.
“Sorry,” Remus says as he drops into the seat next to Sirius’s, “sorry, I normally wouldn’t bring him, but we only have the babysitter until three, and my husband is in Bulgaria this week, and Mum’s busy with Harry--”
“Wait,” Miss Coburn says. Her eyes flick between Sirius and Remus. “Husband?”
“Yes,” Remus says absently, bouncing Teddy in a fruitless effort to soothe him. “He’s the director of the Department of International Magical Cooperation, and there’s been an incident in Bulgaria that’s--well, I really can’t say, but he can’t get away and the baby’s teething and--”
“Here,” Sirius says, holding out his hands. “Let me take him for a bit.”
“You’re a lifesaver,” Remus sighs, transferring Teddy to Sirius.
“I’m--sorry, forgive me, but the two of you aren’t married?”
“To each other? No,” Sirius says. He cradles Teddy to his chest, patting his back as the baby continues to fuss. “Remus has been married to Kingsley for, oh, two years now?”
“Three,” Remus says, smiling tiredly. “We got married right after Harry’s third birthday.”
“Remus and I have never been together, Miss Coburn,” Sirius says. “Romantically or otherwise. But we’re best friends, have been since we were eleven, and we were both named Harry’s godfathers. We’re raising him together. We’re both his dads. Rem, have you got a teething ring with you?”
“Oh--yes, here.”
Soon, Teddy is happily gnawing on the teething ring and drooling all over Sirius’s shirt, and they turn their attention back to Miss Coburn.
“Has Harry displayed any accidental magic lately?” she asks.
“Er, he has done for about a year now,” Sirius says. “Why?”
“I’m not so sure that it’s accidental,” Miss Coburn says, her lips twitching. “He didn’t want to do maths after snack time, so he kept making my chalk disappear every time I tried to write on the board. Then, during our quiet reading time, he kept turning his classmates’ hair different colors.”
“Just like Jamie,” Sirius says fondly. “Can’t sit still for a moment, that one.”
“He gets it from you, too,” Remus points out. “I’m sorry, Miss Coburn. We’ll talk to him.”
---
Harry is happily coloring at the kitchen table while Hope putters around the kitchen, cooking dinner. The tip of his tongue pokes out between his teeth and he swings his legs, humming to himself.
“Hi Dad, hi Da!” he greets cheerfully when Sirius and Remus enter. “Is Miss Coburn mad at me?”
“No, babe.” Sirius drops a kiss on his head and pulls out the chair next to him. Remus sits on his other side. “But you really need to stop turning the kids’ hair different colors, alright?”
“And you need to let Miss Coburn teach you maths and reading, even if you don’t like them very much,” Remus says, running his fingers through Harry’s hair. “She’s got to prepare you all for Hogwarts, remember?”
“You don’t want to be the only wizard at Hogwarts who can’t read or do maths, do you?” Sirius says, tickling Harry’s side, and the little boy shrieks with laughter.
“Fine,” Harry sighs, pretending to pout, but it doesn’t stick. It never does.
“You’ll be good?”
“Yes, Dad.”
“And you’ll let your teacher do her job?”
“Yes, Da.”
“Thanks, baby.”
“Can I take Teddy outside, please?”
“Thank you for saying please,” Remus tells him, “but you can play with him inside. He’s napping right now, so how about after dinner?”
“But Ron says there are Grindylows in the pond, and I wanna see ‘em!”
Sirius rubs his forehead. “Harry James, you cannot use your baby brother as Grindylow bait!”
“I won’t let ‘em hurt Teddy!” Harry says, sounding aghast. “I just wanna see ‘em! I can kick them, and then they won’t get Teddy. I can run really fast, too. Wanna see?”
Sirius laughs, pressing a kiss to the top of Harry’s head. “How about this? You and I can go flying after dinner, and Remus and Teddy will come out and watch us. You can show Teddy all the new things you’ve been learning in your flying classes.”
“Okay!” Harry turns back to his drawing. “And when Uncle Kingsley comes home, I’ll show him, too.”
“He’d love that,” Remus says.
Sirius meets Remus’s eyes over Harry’s head, and sees reflected in them the immense love he has for their little cobbled-together family. It might be unusual, but he wouldn’t trade it for anything.

"Moonbeam! Mon amour! Our secret love has been discovered!"
Without an iota of subtlety, Sirius Black draped himself across Remus as if he were a fainting couch and not a werewolf. He'd forced the cat who had been curled in Remus’s lap off without seeming to notice, and Remus had to throw his arms out to catch Sirius's head before it hit the table, that's how committed to the act his overdramatic friend was.
They were in the Great Hall, because of course he waited until then, in the middle of a busy lunch, when most of the school would be there, and now nearly all eyes were on them. Sirius had barged in with a bang, stomped over as loudly as he could manage, and swooned into Remus's arms like a Victorian protagonist while shouting about their secret love. Which was so secret that this was the first time Remus was hearing about it.
"Brilliant, Pads," Remus said, his brain trying to catch up with the lapful of Marauder he now had.

Stay
Sirius and Kingsley get engaged and Remus thinks he’s about to lose his best friend. Starking and aro Remus emotional hurt/comfort and fluff.
Approx 1.4K below the cut or read on AO3.
“We’re engaged,” Sirius said smiling as he took Kingsley’s hand in his.
“Oh,” Remus said, crestfallen and then realized that was the exact wrong reaction to have to his best friend getting married. “We should have a drink. I - I’ll,” he stood up abruptly and his chair teetered dangerously before he caught it.
“Remus,” Sirius said, softly. “There was something else we wanted to talk to you about. Don’t worry about drinks.”
Remus sat back down obediently, bracing himself for what was coming. Sirius would leave him to live with Kingsley and then they’d slowly spend less time together until he never saw him at all.
“Kingsley and I were thinking that he would move in here.”
That was worse. That was so much worse. This house that he’d built with Sirius, his home, and he was going to have to leave. “Right,” he said, choking back tears. “I - I’m happy for you. I’ll start looking for a place and it’ll take me a while to pack...”
“Remus,” Sirius said, reaching out for him across the table. “I meant Kingsley would move in here with us.”
“What?”
“You’re both the loves of my life in different ways and I wouldn’t want to be without either of you so we talked and it makes the most sense for us to all live together here.”
Remus felt joy wash over him followed immediately by guilt. He hadn’t been rude to Kingsley, so much as he’d been aloof. He’d been that way with all of Sirius’s partners. He figured it would make it easier to hate them when they inevitably took Sirius away from him.
“I’m sorry,” Remus said to Kingsley. “I’ve been so rude. I - Sorry, I just - I just need a minute.” He pushed back his chair and then headed to his bedroom taking a seat on the edge of his bed. A million things were swirling through him right now, but under all of them was a shock and a nauseous twisting guilt in his stomach. Kingsley had been nothing but kind to him. He made such an effort to get to know Remus, to become his friend as well, but when Remus looked at him all he saw was the person who was going to take everything from him. The floorboard outside of his room creaked. “Sirius, I’m so sorry -”
“Actually,” Kingsley said, stepping into the room, “it’s me. He wanted to come, but I asked him to let me talk with you instead. Can I sit?”
“Uhm, sure.”
“Do you remember Ben?”
That was an odd enough question to shock him out of his wallowing. “Sirius’s ex?”
Kingsley nodded. “Sirius told me he was the first person he ever loved. He also told me that they broke up because Ben wanted Sirius to move in with him and when Sirius told him you were a package deal he accused Sirius of lying about loving him and cheating on him with you.”
The guilt in Remus’s chest piled higher. “He never told me that.”
“Because he didn’t want you to feel bad. It’s not your fault. It’s that arophobic ass's fault. Honestly, Sirius said the part that hurt the most was finding out after so long that Ben wasn’t the person he thought he was.”
“Why are you telling me this?”
“Because a year and a half ago I asked Sirius to move in with me and he broke down crying. None of his past partners understood how important you were to him and if they did they saw that importance as a threat to them not as the benefit to Sirius’s happiness that it is. Ben in particular left quite the scar.
“We talked for a long time that night. About Sirius’s exes, about you, about our relationship, and our future. Sirius told me about how hard you took it when James and Lily first got together. How much pain you were in because you thought this was the first stage of everyone abandoning you for their romantic partners. I can understand that. Did you know Sirius was my first kiss?”
Remus looked at him then. Confusion marring his face. Everyone in Hogwarts loved Kingsley. He could have had anyone he wanted. People bragged constantly about clandestine meetings they had with him in locker rooms or broom cupboards. “But I thought...”
“You thought the second I hit puberty I was making out with half of Hogwarts?”
Remus blushed. “Sorry.”
“It’s okay. I’ve worked through a lot of those feelings in therapy. To be honest, I didn’t understand it. The transition from games of pretend to crushes. Friends covering their notebooks with initials scribbled into hearts. Practicing writing out their name with their crush's last name. Astrology compatibility charts. Truth or dare games. It all felt so foreign to me and then I met Sirius.” Kingsley chuckled. “If you don’t believe you can call Doc. Sirius and I had been friends for so long that it snuck up on me that the feelings I had for him had shifted. I had a full-blown panic attack when I realized all these things people were dreaming of weren’t made up. I think Doc thought I was having a gay crisis, but honestly the fact that Sirius was a man was the least shocking thing about my feelings. I couldn’t find a way to explain it to Doc to make him understand.
“The night I asked Sirius to move in with him, he explained to me that you are aromantic, what allonormativity was, and how scared you were of being replaced when Sirius fell in love. Honestly, it put a lot of your behaviour in context.”
Remus winced. “Sorry about that.”
“No need to apologize. Some of this is on me. We should have had this conversation a lot sooner. That night, after a lot of tears and talking Sirius fell asleep, but I couldn’t. There was something in my mind that I was struggling to put my finger on. So I decided I needed to do more research. If you were going to be as much a part of my life as Sirius, I wanted to understand better. What I wasn’t expecting was to wake Sirius up with my ugly crying at 2am when I learned what demiromanticism was.
“I’ve had people leave too and I didn’t understand why. When Doc got married, I remember this bone deep sadness that day that I couldn’t shake. I was so angry that I couldn’t just be happy for him. Even after I fell in love with Sirius, I couldn’t understand. What I felt for him was different, but not more than the love and care I had for my friends. I thought there was something wrong with me for a long time. Everyone wanted me but I couldn’t understand why I didn’t want any of them. Why every conversation, advance, or rumour would just make me squirm. I have you and Sirius to thank for helping me finally understand that part of myself.”
“But I didn’t do anything.”
“Existing fully and completely as yourself does a hell of a lot more than you could ever realize.”
Remus wiped at the tears on his face. “So you’re really okay with living with me? You won’t try and push me out?”
“Never. Sirius even put it in his proposal. If I was saying yes, I was saying yes to both of you. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.”
Remus stood up then. “Thank you Kingsley. Would you mind waiting here for a moment? I need to talk to Sirius quickly.”
“Of course.”
Remus went to leave but then stopped in the doorway, turning around. “Maybe we could go for dinner sometime? Get to know each other better?”
Kingsley smiled. “I’d like that.”
Remus found Sirius pacing nervously in the living room and he looked up when Remus came out. Both of their eyes were red rimmed from crying and the tears started again as Remus pulled him into a hug. Thanking him so much for being the only person who hadn’t run away, who hadn’t tried to replace him with someone else, who valued platonic love the same way he did romantic love, for being the love of Remus’s life.
When Kingsley emerged from Remus’s room an hour later to find them both fast asleep on the couch, he smiled and grabbed a blanket to drape over the two of them. As he turned to leave, it was Remus’s hand, not Sirius’s, that reached out to grab his wrist and to ask him to stay.

Remus: It didn't work on Lily, how the hell did you think it would work on Regulus
James: I couldn't have known!! They're such different people!!
Remus: And which parts of those "differences" made you think Regulus Black would be more receptive to being thrown confetti at in front of the whole school
James: Crouch and Rosier still laugh hysterically every time they see me..
James: So what do you suggest I do? Make even a grander gesture in front of everyone??

In a Slytherin Sirius/Gryffindor James fic, I would totally love if James went to Regulus and asked him for help to woo his brother. Like he knows Sirius best and it would be so easy to ask him what kind of things he likes and what not.
In turn, Sirius could go to Remus and do the same thing. And then when Prongsfoot gets together Remus and Regulus could be just like "finally".

Happy birthday, @greyeyedmonster-18 <3 I adore talking about feelings, headcanons, ridiculous prompts, and hot dads with you. I hope you have the best day and best year :)
----
It’s ten o’clock, and the party is finally over. The leftovers have been packed away and placed in the cold cupboard, the cake is under a preservation spell on the countertop, the guests have gone, and Harry and Remus are in bed. The decorations are still up, but Sirius has half a mind to leave them. They lend a festive cheer to the otherwise-dreary house, and it’s only a month until Christmas.
“Happy birthday, darling.” Kingsley kisses the side of his head, and then takes Sirius into his arms. “Was it everything you imagined it would be?”
Sirius had known that Kingsley and Remus were up to something these past few weeks, but even that hadn’t prepared him for the sheer extravagance of the party.
“It was wonderful.” Sirius says. He tilts his had up for a kiss, which Kingsley willingly gives. “I couldn’t have done it better myself.”
“Go upstairs. I’ll take care of the rest,” Kingsley says, nodding at the dishes that still need to be washed and put away. “I’ve drawn a hot bath for you, and there’s a bottle of champagne chilling in there as well.”
Sirius’s stomach flutters. He’d accidentally found the ring months ago while putting away some laundry, and since then he’s been wondering when Kingsley will choose to propose. “Will you join me?”
“As soon as I’m done here.”
Sirius kisses Kingsley, long and slow. Savors the taste of him, the soft press of his lips, the tip of his tongue as it--
“I KNEW IT!”
Sirius and Kingsley break apart, each reaching for his wand as they whirl on the intruder. It’s Molly Weasley, wild-eyed, and she points an accusing finger at Sirius.
“I knew it,” she hisses. “All these years, that sweet young man has been at your side, keeping up your house, raising your child, and you’ve been stepping out on him the whole time! And you, Minister, I voted for you! Arthur does nothing but sing your praises! Remus is one of your most valuable employees, and you’ve been sleeping with his husband! How dare you!”
“Molly--” Sirius starts, but she barrels right over him.
“You have thirty seconds, Sirius Black,” she says. “You go upstairs, right now, and tell Remus what you’ve been doing, or I’m going to do it for you.”
“I--”
“Dad?” Harry comes into the kitchen, rubbing an eye. “What’s goin’ on?”
“Nothing, babe,” Sirius says, sending a glare Molly’s way. “I’m sorry, did we wake you up?”
“S’fine, I just wanted some water.” Harry goes over to the tap and pours himself some water, then allows Sirius to drop a kiss on his head before he starts making his way out of the kitchen. Mrs. Weasley stops him.
“No,” she says. “Harry should be here for this, too. It affects him most, after all.”
Harry gives her a puzzled look. “What affects me?”
“Molly, I have never slept with Remus--”
A silvery wolf bursts through the wall. “WE DID SNOG AT A PARTY ONCE, THOUGH.”
“Damn werewolf hearing,” Sirius mutters as the Patronus dissolves. “Remus is my best friend and my co-parent. He is Harry’s other father, and that will never change. But never, not once, have we been romantically involved.”
Another Patronus appears in the kitchen. “HE DOES HAVE A VERY NICE COCK, MOLLY, BUT I PROMISE YOU THAT I DON’T WANT TO SUCK IT.”
“Da, you’re so gross!” Harry complains. “I’m right here!”
A third silvery wolf appears, but it says nothing, simply nuzzles Harry in apology before disappearing.
Mrs. Weasley sputters, red-faced, apparently at a loss for words. She turns on her heel and stalks out of the kitchen, and Sirius hears the front door slam, which of course wakes up his mother’s portrait.
“I’ve got it, Dad,” Harry says. Somehow, he’s the best at getting Walburga to shut up. “Night, Kingsley.”
“Good night, Harry,” Kingsley says as Harry hurries out of the kitchen. “Well. That was…unpleasant. What on Earth did you ever do to give her the impression that you’re married to Remus?”
“Aside from raising a child with him? No idea.” Sirius bites his lip, hard, and makes the mistake of making eye contact with Kingsley. They both burst out laughing. “Oh, sod the dishes. Let’s have that bath.”

I NEED. I NEED Remus and Regulus to have to the same unhealthy level of codependency that James and Sirius do. I need it viscerally. I need them looking for each other in empty rooms, I need them finishing each other’s sentences. I need them sharing books and sweaters and stationeries until they don’t even know who the original is. I need them instinctively brushing shoulders, brushing hands and noses and I need them tangled up in the same bed, breathing in sync. I need them touching all of the time because they can’t bear to be away from the platonic other half of their soul.
