Supergirl/Wish au.
For this au I’m using the Starboy concept. And yes. I know Krypto wasn’t in the show. But someone had to be the goat. And a dog who didn’t exist in canon is better than nothing. Ps. Sorry Cat Grant. You were the only one who fit the character.
Kara. Asha.
Mon El. Starboy.
Lex. Magnifico.
Cat. Amaya.
Krypto. Valentino.
James. Simon.

Danny was fuck, like realistically,or even metaphorically. Like yeah he's fucked up💀
It's not abnormal to dimension hop, or even atleast traveling in one of CW time streams
Just a beautiful River of Timelines in each path, Well in human or with some decent logic. Or even be queen cause he's a man- but yeah he's ancient now even tho he's not an old man right now
But he's Danny, Danny Phantom! The son of Maddie and Jack Fenton! The mad scientist that actually have potential to be a super crazy powerful villain!
_________________________________________
The little brother of The most Famous psychologist Jasmine Fenton!
_________________________________________
Well he guess former son and brother by blood In his former home dimension.
Well he's not in his dimension anymore, after taking the Role of High Mother of the Realms, like excuse you- he's a boy! The opposite of a girl! But I guess in high standards he was called high mother of the realms because of giving birth or manifesting Ellie and Dan after they seemingly fully died..and kinda...made them full halfa status? Well minus Dan cause that was his alternative self...well not anymore but nevermind that-
--------------------------------------------------
Now he's been summoned by some rookie little cult that thinks he's pariah! Like common? Haven't the Daily Death news or even any media that are long forgotten or now Dead published his position as mother and Queen of the Realms?
Or they just really that ignorant?.isn't it wonderful that everyday is so ruin!-
Dan was wrecking havoc again, Ellie wasn't visiting off world daw! Jazz was being..herself, and tucker and Sam already cross the bridge of Reincarnation years ago¿ Now this! Summoned by some Mortals in another dimension just to destroy there dimensio!
Well he wasn't in the mood or patience as he just flick them with just one thumb and in prison in some random jail cell, but I guess he got some bonus of Infinite Realm Adoption Uno card on this tiny babies! They proclaim themselves as justice league? More like baby league! So cute! Especially all of them! The most chaotic are the little baby wearing quite green glowing suit that reminds him the vigilante outfit when he was phantom, the other was a very moody baby with a gentle heart too bad the little one was quite pushy and hiding his feelings! The other was another Red¿Blue¿ With his red nappy! But I guess he can't really touch the little one after just one Pat In the head caught the child vomiting after muttering some guy name lex or kyroto or krypto?
There was also another red baby with a cute tiny gold lightning symbol! Reminds him of his DP one too! The baby was a speedster one of CW little micron headaches, but alas he would still cherish the little guy with less ideas of resetting there universe everytime and giving much more effective and harmless Ideas, then there was also the little martian! The Alien civilization who were so kind that he hell back then in this dimension! ..it was a surprised to see every one of them except this little guy in the realms, but he knew this would happen.
I hope his little grandbabies of his babies give him time to bond with his adopted children

"That Really Happened?!" DC Comics Tournament Entry #5
Superman's Sentient Excised Tumor with Daddy Issues
Tumblr media
[ID: A comic image of Kancer, a giant inhuman monster looking creature with a long head like the alien queen, wrapping his tail around Superman's torso. He has many green spikes that resemble kryptonite crystals coming out of his back and tail, and he has a lot of green dots on his body that are either eyes or glowing orbs. Superman shoots him with laser vision. /END ID]
What Happened?
A villain (Pokolistan Zod) enacted a complicated scheme to give superman a tumor. He had a tumor, and was almost dying until Superfam excised it from him. However, Zod took the tumor and used science to turn it into a sentient creature called Kancer, who then started mass murdering people to get Superman's attention. He calls Superman "Father" all the time and feels close to him because he came from him literally (aside: We also see the villain literally looking at Kancer's growth tank and saying "congratulations, Superman, we're fathers..." Everyone says that Kon El with his retconned story is Lex and Superman's canonical baby but they ignore Superman and Pokolistan Zod's first canonical baby???) Anyway. Kancer offers to become Superman's pet (?) and stop killing people if Superman kills Krypto, his dog, to give him a space (and prove he's important). Kancer at some point reveals he knows Superman is Clark Kent, due to having been literally growing inside him, and is debating telling Zod his secret identity and will if he is rejected. Clark angsts about this, and Kancer goes to Pokolistan where aside: Guy Gardner has been repeatedly killed and mutated until he's lord of hell due to crossover events from OWAW. Guy tells superman he has to take his place in Hell or something bad will happen. Superman doesn't want anyone to die or go to hell but agrees because reasons. Krypto tries to kill Kancer and Superman stops him (Krypto) which inadvertently convinces Kancer Superman loves him for real and he takes GUy's place in Hell to save Superman. Guy is non-plussed about this and says he was going to hell anyway because he killed so many people but also he was a literal baby how was he supposed to know murder was wrong? Anyway, I don't think anyone had "Superman's sentient tumor with daddy issues becomes a serial killer and sacrifices himself in Hell" on their DC bingo card. Also this was all main canon and not an AU, with Clark Kent Superman.

Tournament polls will be posted after all entries are up. As always you can find all posts related to the tournament using #dc-polls-trh

Hi. So, question. Are the genders of Bill's dimension like bees? I've been wondering, as lines are considered female (""drone equivalent""), whereas any other shape with more sides are male, but. you know. come in literal different shapes (ie. workers, guards, queens, etc.) Obviously this framework of comparing them to bees is more of a metaphor. Stark biological variance and how it interfaces with gender has GOT to do some interesting things to their concept of gender.
I want to avoid "even once you set aside reproductive roles, lines are so massively different from polygons that you can separate 'polygons' and 'lines' into two groups as if polygons share some inherent similarity that makes them more similar to each other than any of them are to lines," and I also want to avoid "each distinct shape has a special hardcoded biological function like some kind of fucked up 'natural' self-reinforcing class system."
So, no. I'd rather they not be like bees.
Truth be told, it would take a huge amount of effort to invent a bunch of fresh new unique genders connected to all the shapes' different sexes WITHOUT defaulting to some sort of cringy over-simplified "and here's the warrior sex with a bunch of warrior personality traits, and here's the scholar sex with a bunch of scholarly personality traits, and here's the politician sex and the merchant sex and the farmer sex and—" Like the social restrictions from human sexism are already bad enough, do we really need to upgrade "assigned gender at birth" to "assigned job at birth" like this is Brave New World or something? I'm not writing a dystopia here. And after all that effort, it would have absolutely negligible impact on the fic that I'm doing all this worldbuilding for.
So—unless I stumble upon a zero-effort idea I can explain in fic in under 40 words that DOESN'T make my agender ass cringe in "really, we're replicating THAT conception of gender?" distaste—I'm gonna continue going "each shape is a separate sex with a separate assigned gender, trust me bro" and y'all will just have to take my word for it. If you can't tell what exactly it is that makes Bill's gender different from Kryptos's gender it's because they're aliens and it's just too foreign for you to comprehend. Trust me bro.

Hi! It was very cool and interesting to read your Supergirl guide, I didn't know most of info on it! Thank you for making it!
If you can, can you make it more high contrast? It was very scary when I stopped reading and my eyes stopped working suddenly 😅 (they needed rest for beginning to work again). I googled and it sounds a bit like eyestrain so maybe it will be easier to understand what happened. (Sorry, English is not my first language)
Anyway! Thank you for sharing this information! I think Cir-El is my favourite now
yeah asdkfj that was one problem with working with colors picked from the supergirl logo 😭the colors are def kinda rough! the original post has all of the text from the images in the alt text, if that helps.
i'm not sure if there's much point in editing the images themselves now because the post has already spread the highly saturated version around, so even if i change the og it'll still be like that in all the reblogs. BUT i can do you one better and just put the plain text here:
Who's That Supergirl? A brief guide to distinguishing the various holders of the Supergirl mantle in the Postcrisis era!
“There’s more than one...?”
•Indeed! Kind of like how there’s been a bunch of Robins, there have been a few Supergirls. They are:
•Kara Zor-El, precrisis edition
•Precrisis Kara was Linda Lee Danvers!
•Matrix (Mae Kent)
•Linda Danvers (an homage to Linda Lee Danvers)
•Cir-El (very briefly)
•Kara Zor-El, again (postcrisis edition)
•Postcrisis Kara is Linda Lang!
“Why are there so many Supergirls?!”
•During “Crisis on Infinite Earths”, the original Supergirl, Kara Zor-El, died.
•This is because DC wanted to relaunch Superman as the “Last Son Of Krypton” – no more other Kryptonians, no more Krypto the Superdog, no more of Clark’s boyhood as Smallville’s Superboy. (Look up the Byrne run on Superman if you’re curious about more!)
•However, “Supergirl” as a concept was still a character niche with potential. She could no longer be Kryptonian, but a female ally of Superman’s with similar powers could exist, in theory, especially as the mandate got more relaxed and Byrne left Superman books.
•Therefore: the first non-Kryptonian Supergirl appeared!
Matrix (Mae Kent)
•First introduced in Superman vol 2. #21 (“The Supergirl Saga” #1)
•From an alternate dimension where she was artificially created to be a hero, but her world died. She returned to the main universe with Superman.
•A shapeshifter made of “protoplasm” – she can turn invisible or take the shapes of other people, but shifting form takes a toll on her!
•Dated Lex Luthor (until she realized he sucked and then nearly murdered him! Go queen!)
•Supergirl from 1988 - 1996
Linda Danvers
•First introduced in Supergirl vol. 4 #1 (1996).
•Mae accidentally fused with a human girl named Linda Danvers while trying to save her life. She also gained the powers of an “Earth-born Angel”, including wings made of holy fire.
•(Lots of angel/demon stuff happens in Supergirl vol. 4. If that’s your jam, you might enjoy it!)
•At first, as a human, Linda has the form of Linda Danvers (a short brunette), but can transform into Supergirl (Mae’s taller, blonde form).
•(Yes, the Supergirl who goes to Dante’s Disco Inferno with Young Justice is Linda.)
Linda Danvers, Continued
•From Supergirl vol. 4 #51 (December 2000) onwards, Linda and Mae are no longer fused.
•Linda retains some powers of her own, but not as strong as they used to be, and no more of the angel stuff. She also no longer shapeshifts – she uses a blonde wig as Supergirl, but is shorter than she used to be.
•Linda’s powers are an homage to early iterations of Superman, who could not fly but could leap an eight of a mile, etc!
•This version of Linda wears the white crop-top costume!
Precrisis Kara (Surprise!)
•In Supergirl vol. 4 #75 (December 2002), due to dimension travel shenanigans, precrisis Kara’s rocket lands on postcrisis Earth, and Linda finds her!
•Precrisis Kara doesn’t stick around too long before she goes back to her own timeline, but she does make appearances in a couple other Superman and Superfamily-related comics at this time, alongside Kon-El and Linda.
•As a nod to the way Linda Danvers was an homage to Linda Lee Danvers (precrisis Kara’s human identity), when she returns to her own timeline, Kara says she likes the name Linda Danvers, and throws in “Lee” for “Leesburg”, the town Linda Danvers lived in.
Postcrisis Kara
•Linda Danvers retires from heroics in Supergirl vol. 4 (May 2003).
•Mirroring her precrisis origins, postcrisis Kara arrives in a rocket in Superman/Batman #8 (May 2004).
•The “Last Son” mandate is over – Kara Zor-El is Kal-El’s cousin, a fellow survivor of the destruction of Krypton.
•Kara is eventually taken in by Lana Lang, who offers to let her be her “niece”, Linda Lang.
•In her human disguise, she wears (the then-deceased) Kon-El’s glasses. 🥺
•Postcrisis Kara wears a blue crop-top costume!
Cir-El (Mia)
•First appears in “Superman: The 10¢ Adventure” (Jan. 2003)
•A human girl who is experimented on and given powers based on Superman’s genes, and told she is Superman’s daughter. She is sent back in time from the future to meet Superman.
•Her mind is split between Mia, the normal girl who resents Superman and what’s been done to her, and Cir-El, Supergirl, who has powers and believes Superman is her father (until Kelex runs some tests on her and confirms otherwise).
•She has a few adventures in Metropolis before ultimately realizing she is a pawn in a scheme by Brainiac 12 to take down Superman, and, horrified, destroys herself to ensure it never happens.
Thanks for reading! Here’s some of my favorite caps of the family with Supergirls! (Caps: 1: Cir, Traci 13, and Nat Irons asleep together. 2: Kon teaching Mae to play Magic The Gathering. 3: The Superfamily in "Superman Vs Darkseid: Apokolips Now!". 4: Lana Lang with her arm around Kara as Linda Lang.

new(ish) comics time!
Most of these are from last week but I was on vacation so we're doing it now.
Fire and Ice: Welcome to Smallville #4 -- This continues to be light and fun. Well, except for the fact that apparently the cannibalism last issue wasn't a fake-out?? I guess I'll have to see how the last couple issue go, but why does this mini have a cannibalism subplot in the first place? It just feels tonally out of place. Also, appearently Fire and Lobo are/were a thing? Didn't know that. Anyway, I am enjoying the Fire and Ice conflict and I liked the joke about Tora leaving Krypto to guard her cave full of potential reformees.
Titans: Beast World Tour: Gotham #1 -- dang that's a mouthful of a comic name. I read this for Helena scraps and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed most of the stories! Sadly her story was one of the weaker ones (I do think Cass would be a cat person) but I think I'll at least rate it above the Harley one. The Dick and Bruce story was fun (though why we had to have Barbara in the Batgirl costume when she was doing Oracle stuff anyway beats me.) I really liked the Jason one--that felt very strong. I liked eating/hunger imagery and also the Ratcatcher as a naked mole rat. (I have simple pleasures sometimes.) For the Steph story, I thought it was interesting having her go up against killer moth and having her call back to his 90s moth creature form. It got me remembering that really weird killer moth story in Jon Lewis' Robin run where he was like reproducing or something? Anyway, I really like what Kelly Jones is doing with his art these days.
Birds of Prey #10 - No Zealot this issue :( I will be honest, I think this arc is loosing me a little. There were some nice Cass and Barda moments, but it felt like there was a lot of infodumping this issue where the birds are and what they're up against and I just wasn't that invested in it. Maybe that'll change but I guess I'll just have to see. The other thing about this issue that felt weaker was the art. While I've been a fan of how Bellaire's been coloring this series in the past, this issue really felt messy, blurry, and hard on the eyes in a way that the past issues hadn't. I think it's because there were just too many kirby dots. I get why she's doing it as the homage to kirby and his creation of Barda but the whole effect doesn't work. It's too much. I'm going to keep following this arc, but I hope the art and story have picked up next issue.
Shazam #12 -- The Shaz-van returns! My new favorite character <3 In other news, Billy's going through it this issue :'( I enjoyed the interplay between Billy and the Captain here and seeing the payoff of the introduction of his mom last issue. Since picking up Campbell's run on Shazam, I've been reading this in two directions--the current arc, and then six months previously on dcu infinite and reading issue 6 made me realize what plot threads this was picking up on on which helped me to better understand what was going on and help me to enjoy it more. I've really been enjoying the ride.
As a final side note, I also read the Gotham by Gaslight: The Kryptonian Age preview in the back of the issue, and while I'm probably not going to read this in full, I think it was interesting to see more of Fernandez' art. I can definetly see some of his touches, but it also feels more scaled back in the pages here than the caricature-like features his faces could have in The Old Guard and Queen and Country. It's always interesting seeing how the work of artists with distinct styles can change.
