Barty LOVES to act like Reg's lover.

Since they're in different houses (Barty is a Ravenclaw, take this headcanon out of my cold dead hands), most mornings Barty just runs in the hall just to hug Reg while he tries to eat.

It's really funny because Pandora is the one having to take Barty out of bed every single morning. My boy is not a morning person and he HATES coffee so he usually just look like a zombie for most of the morning. That doesn't stop him from making a big dramatic entrance in the Big Hall when he sees Regulus. Reggie is so used to it he doesn't do shit while Barty showers him in kisses and tells him how much he's misses him in a dramstic way (well, okay, maybe he smiles like an idiot cause he actuslly loves when Barty does shit like that. It's really funny and he loves the physical contact). 

James, at first, got quite jealous of Barty because he didn't understand the relationship he had with Regulus. Reg just laughed for ten minutes when James said Barty had a crush on him.

"James, my deer" which he loves to say because it's really funny and always cracks up James. "Barty is like a brother. We kiss once when we were 12 and it was horrible because he is like a brother"

James only got paler.

"He was your first kiss?"

"Kinda. Don't give it much thought, Barty is just like that. He is a friend"

And ok, maybe discovering Barty was Regulus' first kiss hadn't help with James jealousy, but he only needed a few weeks to understand Barty was just a friend. Even though he was always touching Regulus or giving him hug and kisses, there was no passion in them. Barty was all about friendship.

Evan wasn't as good as James. He was getting angry without even knowing why (he's jealous) and started questioning Barty why doesn't he do the same with him. Barty just smiles and kiss his cheek.

"Still not into lads?" Barty asked, preparing to kiss the other cheek.

"Yes. Why?" Evan frowned, token by surprise.

" No reason" Barty laughed, giving another kiss. This time he put his lips in Evan's jaw, feeling the blond melt under his touch. "Just checking"

Evan was just a little menace, and Regulus was just like a concerned parent, but lived for chaos when it was just the two of them.

And poor Barty, son of a politician.

Smart, studius, innicent, naive, perfect son, etc.

His dad told him to make connections at hogwarts, he had no idea what he was getting himself into.

He got sorted into slytherin. And made friends with said menaces.

And Barty being this sheltered child. Did what he was told.

Met Evan and Reggie at 11.

Him, Evan and Regulus having a Sirius, James, Remus dynamic.

Sirius/Bart = the corrupted.

James/Evan = the corruptor.

Remus/Regulus = actually corrupted them both, the mastermind, never gets caught, smarter than both put together.

JAMES POTTER'S BIRTHDAY

James Potter had waited 364 days for this day to arrive, and he was ecstatic the second he woke up.

He turned around on his bed to find Regulus staring at him lovingly, with an easy smile on his face.

"Happy Birthday, my love," Reg kissed James' hand, and if it wasn't his motherfucking birthday, he would have time to blush.

There was no room for James to say anything back before little footsteps were heard running towards them at full speed.

"Happy burth-day daddy!" Harry yelled as he jumped on Regulus to get to James.

Once he got to him though, he wrapped his arms around James and his parents laughed.

Regulus picked up James who was holding their son and started running around the room. There were giggled and chuckles all around.

Until Regulus sighed, kissed James'temple, and ever so gently whispered, "Three... Two... One..." Because it happened every fucking year.

Suddenly the door was swing open and Sirius came running through the door and pushed the Potter-Blacks into the bed and hugged them all at once.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRONGS! HOW'S MY FAVORITE FAMILY DOING?"

And that was it. Regulus knew what was going to happen from that moment, because it felt like routine every year. Peter would bring a cake, Sirius would "distract" James, Remus would organize the gifts alphabetically, etc.

Even Evan and Barty helped, they adored James.

And it was always so beautiful, how even though they all did this for James, it was more of James giving them the gift of him in their lives. Because that's what James was: a gift.

And Regulus' gift... Well. That had to be given later when they were alone.

My Barty Crouch Jr headcannons:

He’s a kleptomaniac - at least to some degree. I think he can’t help but steal things from the people he loves, like he’s just always taking their shit and he has little collections of his favorite people’s things hidden away in his room

He actually has a massive fucking heart and feels so deeply but he doesn’t let anyone know that because his father kept telling him it wasn’t manly to have emotions so he shuts them all up

Death eater or not - wizards or not - stuck in a war or not - no matter fucking what circumstance Barty would actually kill for those he loves. If someone he cares about comes crying about being hurt he would lash out and hurt them back and he would not hesitate to kill them if granted permission

He’s not the healthiest. He smokes compulsively, if he was alive now he’d also vape like it was his last resort.

His diet is basically energy drinks, chips, and plain pieces of bread. He really doesn’t eat much at all so he’s really skinny to the point where it’s concerning and borderline an eating disorder.

He’s never or will never love anyone to the extent that he loves Pandora. He looked at her one day and just decided she was his entire fucking world. She’s the only one he really opens up too, the only one who sees him cry (before his lover), the first person besides his mum who’s ever hugged him and held him and told him he’s worthy of being loved. He would go to the ends of the earth for her, and he really wishes he could just put her in his pocket and protect her from everything. They are the ultimate besties.

Barty falls for every single one of his friends. Some deeper than others. But he gets crushes on anyone that makes the time for him, listens to what he has to say, and genuinely enjoys his presence. There aren’t many that do, so he genuinely fucking clings.

That man would have the most random fucking tattoos ever. They’re mostly cool as shit. Like he’ll have big scary boy tattoos but then smushed in between scorpions and snakes and like demons with blood he’d just have a little ghost with love heart eyes or something. Most of the random ones are because they’re funny or because Pandora said she liked something so he just got a tattoo of it. He also has her name tattood on his chest.

He has had them most retched mullets in his days. He only gets rid of them when Pandora finally breaks and asks him to grow it out. He somehow still gets bitches with those atrocities though.

If he was alive now, he would definitely own a maid costume and would pull it out at the most random times. Regulus / Evan would fucking thirst over it so much.

Acts like a dom outside the bedroom, the most bottom man ever in the bedroom - but he’s cheeky about it

He just wants to be loved at the end of the day

Would 1000% have a dick piercing. Probably even more than one. He would also have a dick tattoo because he’s stupid

His favorite colours are pale forest greens and sky blues

Socks on at all times when he’s around other people or in active mode. The only time they come off is in the shower or bed, and only if he’s in bed alone. Man’s will be butt ass naked without a care but he will still be wearing his socks. He also only owns dumb socks

I, for some reason, headcannon Barty as Italian. Does it makes sense? Probably not. Does it fits perfectly? YES

Like, i imagine him yelling at anyone who break pasta i half or something like that and being so loud and fun, friendly. And him having a little darker complexion and a slight accent that would be more visible when he is angry or excited!!

But i also imagine that he can't cook. Like absolutely, totally can't cook. He would touch the pan or turn on the oven and BOOM whole kitchen is on fire.

barty is a sugar addict. he can never go anywhere without at least a piece of candy. he prefers the kind of candy that you can grab and go. watch him have a sweet drink every meal and his favourite is probably like gummy bears.

when evan learnt this, he grew into the habit of having a piece of candy on him at all times to give to barty when he’s low on energy. what barty will never tell him is that he almost always has at least three back up pieces of candy, so technically he doesn’t need the one evan gives him. but no, barty will never tell him that. he’s seen how happy evan is when barty accepts his candy. and anyway, the candy evan gives him always somehow tastes better.

(also, throwing barty and james together while they’re on a sugar high is literally the definition of chaos)

I read someone's post (I can't remember who, sorry for the shitty memory) about wanting stories about Marauders' children but not about Harry or Draco. Just Other Children. And I can't stop thinking about it because

What if they had lived? All of them?

I think Jilly is cute as a ship, but I don't think they would have lasted on the long run. Not as a couple. The war is hard on everyone and they can't pretend they are the same as before. They both agree to stay as friends because love is still there, just not romantic love more of a friendship.

James movew just a few streets down. After a year or so, Regulus moves with him. At first, everyone try to break them up, but Regulus shows once and again that he has changed, that he is good.

Harry loves Regulus with all his baby heart. Regulus insists he is good as an uncle, not wanting to take anyone's spot, but after three years Lily is the one to reassure him.

"Reg" she smiles with love "I know what you mean, but James and I have talked and we both know that Harry has had three parents for a while now. You're his papa. You're family"

Regulus cries for two hours straight after that.

Harry grows with a lot of cousins. The ones he sees the most are Remus and Sirius' children.

After the war, Remus takes a job on the government and doesn't stop until he gets a legislation passed abouth werewolves. After all his work, foster children would have an easier access to a new home. They adopt a three years old werewolf girl, bitten in one of the battles. She has a hard time, but Remus is there for every step.

In Sirius' 25th birthday, she runs to his bed when the sun isn't out yet.

"Daddy! We made breakfast!" she yelled excited.

Remus appears, a shy smile on his lips.

"We kind of burned the pancakes" he apologized.

Sirius just look fondly at him, love all over him as he hugs his daughter.

"Let's adopt another one, Rems" he asks.

They adopt a boy this time. Five years old and having tantrums who could scare Merlin himself.

Dorcas and Marlene had two girls and a boy. They never said who the donor was and no one could tell since the children look exactly like both girls.

The least expected is Barty's child. No one really saw him as a father, especially not after Evan's death. However, when Luna is born, Barty is named his godfather and his whole life changes because he can see himself having a future.

Following Remus and Sirius' example, he adopts. He may have changed, but he hasn't forgotten. He adopts a boy who lost his parents by Death Eaters as a way to remind himself everyday that he can do better. That he has to do better.

They live happy, like they could have only dreamed of. At least until August of '92 comes around.

Sirius didn't ever bother to knock, entering the house with familiarity.

"Did you get one too, Prongs?" he shouted, looking for his friend.

"Good morning to you too, dear brother" responds Regulus frowning.

Sirius just showed the letter, expecting it's explication enough.

"Oh, yeah. Jamie has his own letter".

As if he was called, James enters the kitchen with a big smile and a letters on his hand.

"What does yours say?"

Sirius opens it, preparing himself to read.

"Dear mister Black, I couldn't but notice the name of this year's students. I wrote to check if the boy listed as Lupin-Black has anything to do with you or mister Lupin. Signed, Minerva Mcgonagall"

"Mine's says the same! I mean, she asks if Harry is listed as my child or if it's a coincidence"

Regulus hides his smile. Only he will know the letter he had received with just a few lines written. "Mister Black, if I am not wrong, I may be retiring this year. I do not think I am strong enough for this children. Signed, Minerva Mcgonagall"

Marauders HC Part 2! Fluff! Includes: Rosekiller, Jegulus, Dorlene

Barty fell for Evan first, but Evan confessed.

Barty has trouble talking about his own feelings, but Evan helps him talk things through.

They are always seen together. You could say that Barty drags Evan around everywhere, but Evan follows willingly.

They don't argue often, but when they do it gets pretty bad, and they're both miserable.

They spend the majority of their time going around and causing chaos.

Barty takes the marauder's pranks on the Slytherins personally, and makes it his mission to "get them back".

For instance, the time Barty and Evan pranked the marauders by turning everything in their dorm green.

This really pissed off Sirius, only fueling the fire even more.

Regulus had to force them to apologize because of how upset Sirius was.

Barty and Evan are Regulus' #1 supporters. They helped him find both his gender identity and his sexuality.

They always tease Regulus for his obvious crush on James. They practically go crazy when they realize James is just as into Regulus. "Come on! Just get together already!" Barty complains, irritated.

When Evan isn't with Barty, he's usually with Dorcas. The two of them get along surprisingly well.

Evan will complain about Barty while Dorcas complains about Marlene. They totally gossip together.

Evan loves Barty more than anything in the world, but sometimes he just needs a break.

When Evan is hanging out with Dorcas, Barty usually finds himself with Regulus.

Barty is extremely protective of Regulus. He may have spied on James a little to see if his interest in Regulus is genuine.

After he knows James has good intentions, he's the biggest "Jegulus" shipper.

Barty and Evan started sleeping in the same bed during fifth year. It just felt right. It brought them even closer, up to the point where they're almost inserperable.

They truly love each other more than anything and aren't scared to show it. They are both fine with PDA.

They never officially "came out" but everyone knows they're together.
