I just wanna take the time to appreciate how complicated gender can be. Cuz I think people forget that there's people in the lgbt community with gender expressions so complex that it doesn't neatly fit into any current term

I think everyone's self expression is awesome and cool and you don't have to follow any of the rules/categories that society as a whole have set to try and make gender make sense, or even what the queer community have done to expand those ideas for people who sit outside.

Gender doesn't make sense and it never will. I'm a living example of that as someone who doesn't even have a gender and just dresses and looks how they want, because fuck it! I don't need to follow any unspoken rules to fit into a given category. I dress in such a specific way that it can't even be neatly categorised into masculine, feminine OR androgynous. Or sometimes I dress to present as any or a mix of them. I dont care, clothes don't have gender to me.

I like my womanly figure yet I prefer people not call me a girl, and I like looking flat. But I also like dresses and think they're pretty, but I get dysphoria when i wear one because its too feminine. I include myself in discussions about being a woman but I don't even consider myself as a woman. I go by they/them but i like it when people mix it with he/him or neopronouns. I dont make any sense and thats exactly how i like it. Do whatever the fuck you want to, literally nothing is stopping you. You don't have to have a specific word to describe how you like to dress or how you want to look, or even how you percieve yourself.

You can just be a human being (or even something else) that is just existing and living life.

I know two times does not a trope make...but it is interesting that there have been two non-binary/bigender characters in the most literal way in their respective narratives, with black women in two different shows in the past few years.

Introducing my 'Holy Trinity' and their facecasts.

Keys - Keys is a transgender knight from medieval times who was sworn to protect the Princess, he falls in love with a village girl who is pretending to be a Highwayman to make money to feed her family. Later on Keys becomes a Vampire and finds his way to Hero who helps him with his blood lust.

2) Hero - Hero is a nonbinary Fae who was once a Knight but then became ruler. They enjoy their masquerade balls way too much and wine even more, especially when their getting drunk with Keys. The love of their life, which if asked they would deny. Is one of the ladies of the court.

3) Westie - Human Woman, she a very talented manager of a band but also a talented musician in her own right. Westerly Kirby is openly and proudly a lesbian and her all time, massive crush is on a 70s Glam Rock artist named Nixie, Luckily for Westie the devil likes her enough to entrust her with a special mission that will bring Nixie back from the dead.

It's a fun little tale of a Human, Vampire and a Fae fighting to keep the devil on their side and in the process becoming unlikely best friends, while also navigating their unusual love lives. I love them very much and I just have this feeling that out of all my children these three would be adored the most 🥺. let me know what you think of them and if you want to see more, short stories of them.

They don't have a chosen name, everyone just calls them by increasingly ridiculous gender neutral nicknames (Emma and Snow call them Reggie. David calls them Gee. Zelena calls them Sib. Granny Ruby and Belle call them Pup. Mal calls them Zorro, meanwhile, Cruella and Ursula call them Zee. Rumplestiltskin called them Rumple Jr and they threatened to kill him bc of it one time but he still calls them Junior. Hook calls them Shortstack. The Dwarves call them Evily or Bitchy it depends. Henry calls them un-mom now.)

They could've taken their tits off with shape-shifting magic but got top surgery bc they thought the scars would look badass. They were right.

David was the first person they came out to (it was 100% on accident), with Emma and Ruby following (the real ones she wanted to tell first) and then everybody else.

Snow was the very last person to realise but was surprisingly the most supportive and understanding (when everyone was sure Snow would take the longest to change), and even took to the new pronouns and not calling them "Regina" immediately. She also bought them a Non-Binary flag and hung it up in their home office. Reggie may or may not have cried.

Okay, real talk. They definitely always KNEW they were kinda different, which led them to being a tomboy as a young child and teenager. Anf though they were very fem as the Evil Queen, being Mayor let them go back to it and they found a nice androgynous middle-ground, but couldn't explain why they didn't wanna keep being hyper feminine. There wasn't really a word for being nb in the Enchanted Forest, so they stayed closeted up until Emma (genderfluid icon) and Ruby (mtf icon) told them what being Non-Binary was. It took a few months of reflection and acceptance, but they're happy now.

They do wear dresses and skirts and make-up still bc it's cunty don't get me fucked up. They also kept their hair long because they take a lot of pride in keeping it soft and pretty and like playing with it.

Hello! What astrological placements indicate someone is androgynous?

Hi!! Okay, so I got excited when I saw your ask 🤭I love this question, and it doesn’t get asked enough. I've looked into this quite a bit while trying to pin down my own look and style. Androgyny in astrology is layered. It’s not usually one placement that gives someone that appearance. It's more of a combination of planetary energies that blend or blur the traditional “masc/femme” divides.

Here’s what I've seen show up in the charts of people who are perceived as androgynous or come across as gender-fluid/non-conforming in some way:

Indicators of Androgeny in Astrology

🔌 Uranus and Aquarius placements 》

Uranus that “I’m not like the other girls/boys/genders” planet, so if someone has a strong Uranus (especially aspecting personal planets) or heavy Aquarius energy, they come across as unique and hard to label. Aquarius rising, Sun, Moon, or Venus especially.

🧠 Mercury or Gemini dominance 》

Mercury is considered gender-neutral, and Gemini is all about versatility and fluidity. This is shapeshifter energy. People with strong Mercury signatures (like Gemini rising, Mercury on the Ascendant, Mercury-Venus conjunctions) can come across as mentally and aesthetically fluid.
