I wish I could just take my whole skinsuit off like a jacket and throw it in the washer, because having to be inside of it while the water is touching it is cruel and unusual. May as well ask me to wash my socks while I'm wearing them.

Autism is so funny, especially paired with adhd
Sometimes I'm sensory seeking, I need loud music, I need strong flavors, I need bright colors, and touch and smell
And then other times I'm sensory avoidant. Get the hell away from me, don't touch me, I require a dark and quiet space where the only smells are so familiar I can't detect them, and the only thing I want touching me is my favorite blanket.
Sometimes, none of my food is allowed to touch, absolutely not, I need WALLS to separate it all.
And then other times, yeah, let me make a sandwich that's a little of everything from Thanksgiving dinner, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, corn casserole, all of it! Or yeah, let me put spam, bacon, AND peas in my mac and cheese! Let me have mac with peas, tuna, green onions, and extra cheese!

Being sensory sensitive is just...my neighbour is not being that loud. I know that logically. But he is being loud enough that I can hear it. And it's almost midnight so I'm trying to sleep. So I have to sleep with headphones or earphones because even though it's just a vaguely annoying level of noise, to me it's migraine inducing enraging noise.

Headcanon that Lovely can hear electricity and it drives them batty. This is something they've been able to do since before their magic even manifested and they hate it. Any cords, lamps, devices, etc. They will remove them from their general area and put them in a bin and stick it in a corner as far away from themself as possible. Vincent only had to ask why one time to understand as they explained through frustrated tears and now he's stuck a label on that bin as 'Time Out'.
Every now and again when Lovely's irritable or overwhelmed, he'll ask if something needs to go in time out and it'll usually be enough to get them to crack a smile and ask him to to put one of the offending conductors of electricity in jail.

How do you imagine hybrids work in love and legends? We've seen elf/humans.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So there are 6 different species and aside from the mermaids, they're all compatable to have children.
I headcanon life expectancy, colouration, and the shape of facial or body features to be gradient traits, so they pretty much randomly combine between the two parents like any other child
Magical traits are probably more binary. So a fairy hybrid child could inherit the eyes, wings, and/or sparkles, or none, with no middle ground. A demon hybrid will usually inherit a faded form of the markings, but they won't always be able to transform or earn horns. Dwarf hybrids might inherit the ability to echolocate vs just having larger ears.
If two species with strong magic have a child, they're more likely to inherit magical traits (e.g. elves and fairies with strong magic vs humans and dwarves with low magic)
Considering the domains are all friendly with each other, I imagine it's fairly common to have mixed ancestry and there's no real taboo aside from the grief of lifespan differences

i am positive i have talked on here before about how the only thing that DARE did for my nine year old psyche was to terrify me enough about getting black lung to never pick up cigarettes (and was entirely ineffective in every other way) but given i am a deeply nervous person who never knows what to do with my hands and would appreciate having an excuse to remove myself from various social situations to go outside for ten minutes cigarette smoking was in fact built to appeal to me but thanks to state sponsored propaganda programming i have thankfully avoided that habit

Dinnertime.
7 wanted pizza. As the only hot thing this boy ever eats is nuggets, I wasn't going to say no! He's on his 2nd slice!!! I'm not making a big deal of it, and he's not sitting still, but inside I'm dancing.
Big win 😁
