Imagine Aurora and Snow White fell in a sleep curse in which there's the traditional princess fashion on where everyone needs to kiss them to wake then up.

Many of the students admire Snow White and wanted to do so but were prevented by Crowley and Pomeferio trio like overprotective dad and brothers eventhough they need to wake her up.

Crowley: Why!? Why!? It should been me, she was so young!

Vil: Yeah..it should be you.

Meanwhile Malleus wanted to help awaken Aurora's curse but is too nervous to kiss her especially with many people around.

I think I got an ask like this ages ago where Miss Yuu also got the sleeping curse and everyone else was wondering and fighting over what to do only for Grim to give her a little cheek or forehead head to wake her up.

So that but in this context. No one gets any kisses. lol

Or alternatively, in the version where the princes are also in Twisted wonderland, they already know what to do.

Phillip: Well. If tis is anything liek last time, I gotta kiss her and that will work.

Oh WOW I did actual Mermay artwork before May ended!!

In a spur of moment I wanted to doodle Mermaid AU Ahiru and how she would interact with Fakir in that universe.

ALSO last two are bonus doodles I did after I DISTINCTLY remembered the movie H2O had a whole bit where the mermaids turn into humans when they’re not in water? I still don’t get that logic but you bet that I had to make Ahiru and Fakir experience that situation.

Our World Au: Disney Movie Night(s)

Characters: Yuu, Vil, Jade, Jamil, Lilia, Ruggie

Cw// spoilers for princess and the frog, swearing, implications of death, implications of grief

Yuu sighed as they sank down onto the couch, gripping the remote.

“You want to see the movies based on your history?” They asked carefully, eyes flicking over the small group present tonight.

Some of the others had gone out just to explore, some to get groceries or other chores. Some still were at work. This left a small group of 5, comprised of Jamil, Jade, Ruggie, Vil, and Lilia, sprawled out between the couch and the pillows near permanently decorating the floor.

Jade was sitting in the armchair, reading a murder mystery swiped from…your mom? Maybe? While Jamil was plopped on the floor crocheting a blanket. He was remarkably fast, considering he was halfway done and had only started the day before. Vil was buffing his nails and snacking on some fruit salad he picked up from Panera. Ruggie was busying himself by fluffing all of the throw pillows with a strange intensity.

It was Lilia who asked, really, staring at Yuu with big, hopeful eyes. His smile was still toothy as before, and he looked much younger than he was, or even how he was supposed to look.

Jamil looked up, “I can watch a movie, I guess. I’d be fun to compare it to our history, I guess.”

Vil looked up and nodded, forkful of cantelope already in his mouth. He chewed then swallowed, “I have nothing better to do today. A movie could be fun.”

Ruggie flopped onto the couch, making a grab for the remote, to which the Prefect leaned away and held at a distance, “Not you, Ruggie.”

It was Jade who snatched the remote in reality, smiling sweetly as he held it far above everyone’s head, “And what movie do you plan to play, exactly?” He hummed, staring down at them, “The story of the sorcerer of the sands? Perhaps the thorn fairy?”

Yuu shrugged, “Didn’t have a clear one in mind. Do you have a tale you’d like to see?”

Lilia jumped up, like he expected to float, only to find himself still a victim of gravity. He frowned, then proceeded to climb up Jade in order to snatch the remote. Jade simply switched the hand he was holding it with to the other, before reaching up to grab Lilia. “I believe Lilia has a request.”

“You said there was the story of the shadow man and the frog prince, right? We’re watching that.”

Jade chuckled and handed the remote back to Yuu, “I suppose that’s a tale I wouldn’t mind seeing.”

Ruggie let out a breath he was holding, while Jamil and Vil looked at the antics of the former bat and eel with disinterest and exhaustion.

“Princess and the frog it is, then.” Yuu said nervously as Jade turned and shook Lilia off into the armchair he was sitting in before seating himself beside Yuu. He wasn’t close, but he was certainly closer than he normally would be.

“You’ll simply have to show me the story of the sea witch another time, prefect. I’m sure my brother and Azul would love to see it as well.”

Yuu gulped and nodded. Magic or not, Jade Leech is terrifying. They clicked the magic buttons and watched as the movie booted up.

“That’s what he looks like here? It’s…not quite right. The larger strokes are accurate,” Lilia commented as soon as Dr Facilier appeared on screen, “I remember that like it was yesterday. He taught me many things, you know.”

None of the other NRC students responded, instead looking away awkwardly.

“I admire her tenacity.” Vil said, eyes fixed on the “almost there” sequence, “she settles for nothing less than perfection, and strives to make it work. It’s a truly commendable quality. And this animation style is absolutely gorgeous, why didn’t they do the whole movie like this?”

“Budget constraints.” Yuu replied automatically, “Lineless animation is expensive and time consuming. Even just this sequence had to have cost a fortune.”

“HE THOUGHT SHE WAS A REAL PRINCESS? WHAT KIND OF DUMB FUCK-“ Ruggie began before Jamil turned and smacked him with his crochet hook.

“Ruggie Bucchi, I swear on the seven, I will crochet a muzzle onto you.”

“I think that’s just called a mask.” Lilia supplied unhelpfully, still watching the movie, “It is odd he didn’t think about that, though. Royal retainers are supposed to keep track of that information, though Laurence is terrible at that as well.”

“It’s not Laurence’s fault! Naveen is an idiot who doesn’t listen.” Ruggie said, which Jamil begrudgingly nodded along with.

Vil let out a sigh and turned his full attention to them, “Do you all want to actually watch this movie, or should I pause it so you can talk?”

The three just glared in return, the conversation now dead. Vil smirked a little in self satisfaction.

“Hey, look, a crocodile.”

“I can’t believe the fucking firefly is in love with a STAR. None of these people have brain cells.”

“Ruggie, you repeatedly steal from royalty and don’t even hide it.”

“Yeah what’s your point?”

“In Briar Valley, you would be put to death for that.” Lilia said pleasantly, grinning in a way that made it hard to tell if he was joking or not.

“Good thing Leona isn’t the first born then…?” Ruggie tried, laughing awkwardly.

“RAY!” Ruggie cried, throwing a fistful of popcorn (where did he get that? Does he just materialize props for comedic affect?) at the TV, “COME BACK. BRING BACK THE FIREFLY.”

“He’s dead, Ruggie.” Jade said calmly, picking a piece of popcorn from his hair, “And an animated character.”

“This is our history, right? That means he was real.”

“This takes place in the 1920s,” Yuu said, “Fireflies only live for two months on average.”

This did not console Ruggie, who sobbed into a pillow. Whether it was for dramatics or genuine was hard to determine. It was likely both.

“Take the deal,” Jade mumbled softly.

Yuu turned to look at him, eyebrow raised.

He realized he said it out loud, and coughed into his hand, “I apologize, that’s an- ah, habit of mine. Hard to break.”

Lilia hummed, “It’s not a bad deal. Everything she could want for a small price.”

“IT’S TRUE LOVE!” Ruggie and Vil cried at the same time, before staring at each other a moment and quickly looking away.

“You’re not wrong, I guess.” Yuu said, watching the screen.

“Holy shit.” Was the only sentence muttered during the death of Dr Facilier. Lilia as deathly pale and quiet as he watched, his hands shaking lightly.

Jamil reached over to the fae, pulling him close silently. He couldn’t say what was wrong, but he knew that Lilia needed something.

Lilia turned and buried himself into Jamil’s shoulder, clinging to him like a lifeline. He didn’t cry, but he shook frightfully hard.

“She’s really going to give up her chance at happiness for them?” Jamil asked, watching as Tiana and Naveen went to Charlotte to break the curse.

Nobody said anything until Charlotte kissed the frog, only to find the curse still in place.

“He won…”

The happy ending was something Yuu knew about, but nobody else did. The collective sigh of relief the room had was surprising, given how much they idolized the great seven.

“I’m glad that Tiana opened her restaurant.” Jade said, staring at the credits of the film. He was still, unnervingly so, before he abruptly stood up. “I had a pleasant time watching this film with you all. I’m going to go for a walk.” He announced, then quickly retreated from the room in his perfectly practiced manner.

“Should someone go with him?” Ruggie asked.

“I think it’s best that he has some time to think. I could use some myself, actually.” Lilia said, unraveling himself from Jamil, “I’m going to go for a walk as well. Separately. I will return soon.”

And then there were three. Vil went back to his nails, holding up two colors, “The movie inspired me. Do you think this pale blue or this sage green?”

Jamil didn’t look up, “Blue. You look like shit in green.”

Vil nodded, “You’re right, you’re right.” He said as he uncapped the nail polish.

Ruggie looked up, “Hey, can you do mine too? I’ve always wanted to try.”

Vil raised an eyebrow before he shrugged, “Sure. What color?”

Ruggie came over, rooting around Vil’s makeup bag before producing a soft teal, “can I try this?”

Vil smiled a little, nodding, “yeah, of course. Now, let’s start with…”

Ten years pass and Silver is set to marry a Prince but before the wedding can take place, Silver is kidnapped and who should come to his rescue but the Dread Pirate himself?

… A Mario Bros AU where Jade is Mario (because mushrooms, duh), Floyd is Luigi (except instead of being a massive coward, Luigi!Floyd is every Koopa’s worst nightmare). Azul is the Princess Peach they have to rescue from Bowser!Trey cuz Floyd calls Trey a sea turtle… and Azul’s dress can be modeled after what Vanessa (human!Ursula wears in The Little Mermaid!!

Bowser!Trey is the most mild villain ever, he even offers to just casually return Peach!Azul after seeing how much trouble he’s causing the Leech Brothers. But Mario!Jade and Luigi!Floyd keep prolonging the princess’s suffering by purposefully taking the scenic route 🤡

bcjsbsjdnsks And while imprisoned, Peach!Azul ends up hearing Bowser!Trey’s woes about how he doesn’t want to be an evil dictator, he’s just a normal Koopa that wants to live a humble life as a baker 🥲 Peach!Azul would be trying to convince Bowser!Trey to start his pastry empire by signing a contract with him and getting the patronage/backing of the Mushroom Kingdom’s royal family…

So the bad guy acts more like a good guy than the actual good guys 😂

Grim can be their Toad because they both have annoyingly ear grating voices—

I just realized that it's really funny that Crowley, in the twisted princess au, is the closest and "fatherly" (for lack of a better term) towards Snow White.

Because Snow White looks the most like Crowleys actual future daughter, Sialia. That wasn't intentional but it's still funny.

Adeuce arranged marriage au plot bunny

Adeuce arranged marriage AU idea.  Arranged marriages are a common thing for mages in their world and Deuce and Ace’s moms arrange a marriage when they are like itty bitty babies.

They decide to bring them together every summer so that they wont be marrying complete strangers.  And maybe they’ll just naturally develop chemistry.

It goes about as well as one would expect lmao!  Really it’s a lot like canon, but maybe a little less hostile because kids.  But they kind of develop a like brother’s style relationship, you know as kids do.  Sometimes fighting like cats and dogs and other times they’re thick as thieves.

Then in middle school, Deuce goes through his deliquent phase and Ace is wtf.  and let’s face it, we know Ace wouldn’t tolerate that bullshit at all (even though he thinks Deuce looks really cool and kind of hot when he’s in bad boy mode.)  But they eventually have a big fight and both say some things and throw fists and spells and it’s pretty relationshipship ending?  And definitely engagement ending, right?

Like their parent’s don’t officially end it, but Deuce’s mom sees no point in going through with it when her son is being that kind of person.  Which probably feeds into the moment when he catches her crying over his bad behavior and has his big realization.  That and Deuce also has a lot of super truthful criticisms Ace made sticking in his head as well, so Deuce decides to change like in canon.

I’m not sure if during this time Ace dates that one girl he mentioned or not, because I actually feel like Ace is upright enough to not do that while engaged, though I can also see him being like “that’s something our parent’s decided.”  Also he’s mad and maybe curious and it goes like... in canon and he dumps her, also probably with a side realizing he’d have enjoyed hanging out with Deuce more.  And now Ace wishes he’d handled their fight differently even though he still thinks he was right.

Honestly, they’re both realizing they actually enjoyed each other’s company and those visits were the best part of summer vacation.  But well, they fucked it up and both have a little too much pride to just talk it out.  They don’t see each other that summer and it feels really damn lonely.

It’s only when they both get enroll in Night Raven College that they finally meet again.  Ace probably heard from his Mom about Deuce enrolling, but tried to play it off as nothing, because you know, we’re probalby not going to even be in the same dorm.  Deuce probably... some how managed not to hear it from his Mom.  She mentioned Ace was enrolled while he was half asleep or something and he forgot and she probably didn’t push him about it.

So when they see each other in the mirror chamber, they’re both dumbstruck.  Like... Ace is shocked by how much Deuce changed back to who he used to be.  Deuce is actually really glad to see Ace again and wants to like... clear the air and apologize.  But well they’re both prideful so it’s really awkward.  So like the prolouge chapter is them eventually clearing the air and making up and they like have big ex-boyfriend energy for the early part of the story (except they insist they’re not exes.)  Eventually at sometime someone (probably Cater) finds out they were engaged (Ace made some comment on magicam or something) and no they can never live it down.  All the couple jokes are like... amplifiied.

That said, I like to think they slowly work things out and realize they like each other and admit they actually do want to get married (I like to think sometime around ghost marriage because Deuce got jealous seeing Ace confess to Eliza and ended up owning up to it and teased Ace about his whole ideal relationship spiel and Ace admitted he had Deuce in mind during it) .

But they are still dumbasses and sometimes everyone wonders how they will survive marraige, but it’s also like, it works for them.

Twisted Wonderland AU

Ok ok ok,

Just hear me out..

Ahiru from Princess Tutu as Yuu!

And she helps deescalate overblotting when she dances ballet as Princess Tutu (like during their flashback to traumatic childhood moments)

I don't know if this would be like Sailor Moon/ Superman where no one but Grimm and the ghosts (and maaaaaybe Crowley?) know she and Tutu are one and the same.

Lilia totally knows and keeps saying vague things that confuddle Ahiru about whether or not her identity is discovered.

Jack maybe knows, or at least assumes they are related if not the same person.

Ace keeps saying things like "Man, you're such a klutz! You know who isn't a klutz? That pretty ballerina." While Deuce is all “She seems strong…I’d like to fight her!” please don’t

Maybe Idia, Ortho, Cater, and/or Rook would be the ones actively trying to find out her identity. Rook even dubs her "La Princesse des Cygnes."

All of the post-blotted dorm leaders + Jamil would look back on the calming dance with the mysterious princess fondly, even if some *Leona* won't admit it. Some might even developed a crush on the beautiful and gentle ballerina??

Malleus meets Ahiru as she is in her normal- klutzy - human form, and becomes fascinated by her without even knowing or being interested in the rumors of "La Princesse de Cygnes.”

Gym Class? Despite Coach Vargas's well-intentioned —though mostly overwhelming —support, Ahiru trips over her own feet, and cannot be trusted with a broom.

Alchemy Class? Professor Crewel makes Ahiru sit in a corner and do-not-move-a-muscle-for-the-seven's-sake so that no vials shatter and no potions that should't go together won't mix. Somehow, explosions still happen.

History Class? Professor Trein sees Ahiru as a well-behaved - well, as best as she can - student, but for some reason his cat finds reasons to pounce at her and scare her, disrupting the class.

If she still randomly turns into a duck:

Leona finds her duck version and -surprisingly- is quite sweet to the duckling (a more gentle and less sinister version of Scar teasing and playing with the mouse after the opening of The Lion King) before Ruggie interrupts him, and Duck-Ahiru scampers away in fright when Leona sarcastically tells the hyena he interrupted his lunchtime. Whoops.

Grimm doesn't actually attempt to eat Duck-Ahiru despite constant empty threats he'll do so whenever he and Ahiru argue. He actually comes zooming to her aid if he perceives the duckling to be in danger (much like Archimedes saving Wart/ Arthur when the latter was a fish in The Sword and the Stone.), though he quickly denies actually worrying about her and insists it'd be inconvenient if he lost his minion.

Prince Mytho Role:

Malleus, but actually interested in Ahiru from the start? Amused -and touched - that even though she seemed terrified of him at first, Ahiru actively makes an effort to get to know him till she's not even phased by his intimidating appearance and comfortably interacts with him.

Fakir Role:

Leona, in that he's rough and teasing to Ahiru, but is surprisingly gentle with Duck!Hiru, and maybe shows his hidden soft side to her. Big flustered tsundere when he one day puts two and two together and realizes why this cute and sweet little duck's scent is so similar to Ahiru's.

Just something I thought would be fun.
