Okay so I've been reading a lot of anti reverse harem fics undertale but like what if it was twisted wonderland instead. Like there was a magicless student before yuu (in their 3 or 2 year) and yuu moves into ramshakle with them. But unlike other reverse harem fics I read the other human isn't a two face bitch. Like they true to help yuu settle in make there transitions a bit easer. But it's the boys that don't like yuu ( not the first year's ofc). Like it's the older boys that make yuu time at NRC hard. Not cartoonishly bulliying, but like ignoring yuu or doing things that inconvenience them.

on familiars

In this recent tweet, Yana Toboso shares that originally Kalim was planned to have a small monkey familiar (which would make him similar to Aladdin, who also had a monkey companion, Abu).

There are apparently other students with familiars as well (I assume she means mob students that we don’t get to see, maybe even scrapped familiars for members of the main cast??). Some examples Toboso-sensei lists of familiar animals are owls, penguins, and puppies. (I wonder if Crewel was going to have Dalmation familiars?)

This is interesting, since the only other major mentions of familiars is when Crowley mistakes Grim for Yuu’s, and the lore that Trein’s familiar is Lucius (both of whom are cat-like creatures). Besides that, we don’t really hear of animal helpers to mages (unless you count Iago/Flotsam/Jetsam/Diablo etc. as familiars to the Great Seven). Silver’s woodland creature companions and the flamingos and hedgehogs that Heartslabyul tend to don’t appear to count as familiars.

I hope we get to learn more about familiars and how that kind of a bond forms with a mage!! How are familiars differentiated from just regular animal friends some of the students already have?? Maybe we’ll witness the TWST boys picking up familiars later in the main story…? 🤔

Twst x Ever After High au.

Similar vein to to School for Good au with @writing-heiress, where Twisted Wonderland is the fairytale world and everyone is related to their fairytale counterparts. Only with the conflict of Ever After High where everyone has to sign the storybook of legends fufill their predetermined fates of reliving their parents stories. Riddle is the next Queen of Hearts, Chen'ya is the son of Chesire Cat, Malleus is the next evil fairy that curses the next Sleeping Beauty, who is Silver.

Neige and Vil are obviously filling the role of Apple and Raven respectively. Where everyone is afraid of Vil because of his mom and Neige as the next Snow White, so everyone adores him. When Vil hypothetically asks Crowley what would happen if he doesn't want to sign the book, he tells him flat out, "Your story ceases to exists and you will go poof." Cue the whole Royal and Rebel conflict of students that want to follow their destiny and students that want to have choice. With Neige trying to convince Vil to be evil and sign and Vil thinking Neige is being selfish.

Maybe Yuu fills the roll of C.A Cupid. Maybe theyre not specifically Cupid, but they were sent to the fairytale world from the Monster High universe to help guide everyone and Grim is their little monster cat helper. And maybe they hear the narrators too, just because.

Yuu and magic formulas.

I've had an idea in my head for quite a long time about what Yuu sees magic formulas around? Due to the fact that they have never encountered magic ever in their lives, (neither their ancestors and other genetic chain. ) Is it possible to assume that Yuu feels magic more subtly than the others in TWST? From this we can conclude that the "sounds of ink dripping" for Yuu are heard more clearly and they feel perhaps the smell or taste of ink in their mouth? As if you were trying to resuscitate a rod from a gel/ballpoint pen by blowing air into the rod through your mouth. And everything went wrong and now you have to spit out ink in your mouth. Please just take another rod Also a great helper for other students when they do not notice the clouding of their magic stones, and the Prefect points it out.

Somewhere the magic formulas look more detailed and clear for Yuu, at some points they are blurred and written so illegibly that even with all their stubbornness they are not able to.With ancient or more complex magic, formulas look like an overlay of one on another, which makes it difficult to make out at least one symbol that does not intersect with another.

In addition, based on the Masquerade event, there was a thing with which the magic formula was directly connected. And! It could have been changed!! What is even more curious. How does the magic formula change?

Can Yuu see how magic flows through the magic formula in objects? Let's say yes. And this is such an amazing opportunity for the Prefect to earn some pocket money!

When Yuu was able to discover an interesting feature of magic formulas, in the form of magic flowing through symbols and pointers, her torment in solving some problems finally came to an end.

She repeatedly pointed out to classmates or Ace and Deuce and Grim that "the formula will not work", focusing on the symbol or pointer that creates an error, which is why all the magic spell contained in the formula is tangled like a ball of thread after playing 10 cats with it.

Additional classes with teachers after classes in order to catch up with their classmates gave some advantage in the basics and the base, which some students either lacked, or was very superficial. Because of what all their efforts went down the drain. Teachers in general were not against these small "error analysis", because it was more like a repetition of the material passed, rather than cheating. In addition, the students tried to cooperate with each other, which only pleased the teachers. For a teacher of magical analysis, it was fascinating to study with Yuu. She was interested in everything and she did not think from the point of view of a "magician" She had to get out of it, and improvise based on the experience around her. Unfortunately, it was difficult for Grimm to grasp and learn everything, but he still tried to keep up with Yuu. Due to some "influence" (sad experience) with Azul, Yuu decided to take some money from students for consultation.

At first, only students from the first year turned to Yuu to help draw a more accurate drawing, deal with pointers or a symbol. Check whether the spell will work or come up with something non-standard. Her prices were very tolerable, the timing was quite fast and she did her job efficiently and responsibly.

Senior students asked Yuu to make drawings for their course or test papers, with a bunch of thin lines and other details. Some students simply did not have the strength, time, or desire to mess around with all this.

Soon Yuu had to raise his prices due to the huge amount of work.

During one of the breaks, Azul witnessed a very interesting conversation.

A group of undergraduates surrounded the Prefect in one of the corridors, preventing her from passing or escaping. 🔮Twisted Wonderland Theory Guess 🔮

“🤔 Is MC/Yuu is descendants of ‘Balance Keeper’? Or Alice from series ‘Alice Comedies’?”

Never thought we are going to follow MC/Yuu's journey to Episode 07 Diasomnia soon. Probably the main story will began on winter seasons. Suddenly I want to discuss about the MC/Yuu, along other Yuu from Twst comic and Twst novel. We already know a two main character that resemble as MC/Yuu (Not official yet),Enma Yuuken (Comic) and Kuroki Yuuya(Novel). Since it's school of boys, means the MC is a male, while in the game the MC gender is neutral. Can be male or female. Same like other games too.

Even MC/Yuu doesn't have a magic skills in Twisted Wonderland, MC has a unknown ability that can read predict what will happen on those students. Sort of a dimension psychic mind to see subject past and presence. Also, MC is the first person who met Mickey Mouse in the mirror. Dire Crowley did gave MC "Ghost Camera" in Prologue, a camera that is able to take a picture of anything possessing a soul. Sounds very similar how we make a moving pictures to make a animation short film in 90s. In scene old Disney "Alice in Wonderland" at “Alice Comedies”.

I did realize something of MC's ability "Time sight" of Future, Past, and presence. It is similar ability of Master Yen Sid, The Balance Keeper. Yen Sid is also can see someone's past like MC's did see Villains Past in different parallel. It could possibly MC is Yen Sid's Descendants. Why you ask? MC and Yen Sid almost similar, they're not in Heroes or Villains side. More like Tritagonist or Rebel. A person who knows which path they must follow and will seek the truth in knowledge. Plus, remember when the magic dark mirror in Prologue Can't see the colors of MC's souls due ceremony NRC? That is why MC is resemble of "Balance", between light and dark like Yen Sid. So, MC souls color is grey. Even the students see MC more like Cheeky and Blunt. No matter MC doesn't have a magic, but MC did have a secret talent That no one can have. Now let's talk about Connection MC with Grim. Grim's name is from story fairy tale. We maybe think Grim is similar with Stitch, but actually he remind me of Julius the Cat from "Alice Comedies". His mischievous, helper, and comedic is similar with Julius.

Only thing something connection to this, MC resemble as Alice and Grim as Julius. Alice met Julius the Cat in Cartoon land when Alice done visit Mr."WD" in his animation workshop. Julius always accompany Alice wherever she goes to seek new adventure she never see before. Same how Grim will always accompany MC to seek if there's a chance to return to real world while help Grim to graduate in Night Raven College with others too.

I do believe that Dire Crowley and Ambrose could it be Yen Sid "Apprentice". Both of them had same level mastery magician, Ambrose with Light Magic and Crowley with Dark Magic. While Yen Sin both light and magic, Balance Magic. I got feeling that Ambrose approach to Dire Crowley more like his "Kouhei/Junior", while Ambrose is Crowley "Senpai/Senior" (if it's true). One thing I suspicious on Crowley is, Crowley could be doing this Overblot situation is following the original Villains role story by choosing students that is already Have Villains heritage magic. Like Riddle, Leona, Azul, Jamil, Vil, Idia and Malleus when everyone is in Coffin due ceremony Dark Mirror. Grim could be part Crowley's plan too or it just Crowley himself pretend he didn't know anything. Ambrose actually knows what's going Due VDC last year in Episode 05 Pomefiore. Which means Ambrose can predict future like Merlin. For Crowley, he could be resemble "The Phantom Blot", character from "House of Mouse" and monster in "Epic Mickey". Since who else knows about "Blot" thing?

Last is connection with Mickey Mouse, we know that Mickey as iconic mascot of Disney. Funny of my thoughts that Ambrose and Crowley remind me of Mickey and Oswald the Lucky rabbit. While Grim as Julius the Cat. In Epic Mickey, Oswald feel jealous and annoying that his "father"-Loves Mickey the most, same goes to Toon people who always remember him than Oswald. Same goes Crowley is sick that people more support to RSA and Ambrose than NRC and himself.

Ace and Deuce arrived at ramshackle to help Yuu with final preparations for the Ramshackle restaurant, but Yuu was busy with some studying with Mont Blanc. So the two sat in the lounge waiting for Yuu after the study session. As Ace tapped away on his phone, Deuce noticed some strange gems on the coffee table.

He slowly picked them up to get a closer look at them. The gems looked like an ember of sorts, and they held a very unique shape. He looked back at the table to see some papers with a strange circle on them.

“Is this some magic symbols from class?” Deuce wondered as he places all the embers in the center.

At first, nothing happened, and Deuce frowned in slight disappointment. Then suddenly the circle lit up with bright fiery power as the embers were absorbed into the circle. Ace and Deuce jumped back in shock as the magical energy grew more and more intense as the dorm shook and rumbled as the circle opened up into the unknown.

“What happened?!” Yuu gasped.

“It was Deuce!” Ace shouted.

“What is happening?!” Deuce asked in a panic.

“It appears that Deuce has accidentally activated the food soul summon,” Mont Blanc said simply.

Suddenly a figure began to emerge from the rift. Deuce tensed as the figure fully came out of the rift, like the shadow that covered the silhouette soon revealed a young boy.

“That is, uh...My name is Eggette! I'm glad you summoned me, and I'll do my best!” Eggette smiled.

Deuce was too overwhelmed mentally and emotionally to show any visible reaction, he was frozen in place. Eggett sweated nervously as they waited for Master attendant Duece to say something, or at least move. Deuce ended up fainting.

At first, Deuce Didn't know how to react after summoning Eggette. Cause he never had a Familiar before.

So Yuu had to explain that Eggette is a helper of sorts, and even just a companion. Deuce still didn't really know what to do, so Yuu suggested simply treating Eggette like a younger brother.

And to be the best role model for the child food soul.

So For a while, Deuce was a bit nervous around Eggette, while Eggette was trying to do all he could to be helpful to the boy.

But once Deuce got to know a bit about Eggette, and saw how cheerful and clumsy he was. Deuce started to treat Eggette like a little brother.

Deuce would try to act like a good big brother for Eggette, helping him when he trips, Bonding over egg-based dishes, protecting him from the NRC bullies, and trying to keep him pure.

"Watch it squirt!" a Savanaclaw student growled.

"Bastard! I'm going to get you for that!" Eggette shouted.

"Eggette, We can't say words like that," Deuce scolded in a whisper.

"Tch, keep that weird egg thing in check," the Bully spat.

The two ended up betting the heck out of that guy, and Deuce telling Eggette to not get into this kind of habit.

Eggette was a well-welcomed addition to the family, for Deuce's mother instantly fell in love with food soul.

She was more than happy to smother the food soul with motherly love.

After training and learning together the two became the best of friends and brothers.

"Big bro Deuce," Eggette called as he gently pulled at his hand.

"What's wrong Eggette?" Deuce asked as he knelt down to his level.

"I obviously keep adding to your troubles, yet you still choose to be with me. I...I'm really very happy! I'm sure I'll always stay at your side!" Eggette smiled as he hugged his master attendant.

Deuce holding back tears, and trying to act cool. Hugged Eggette back with a smile.

Hello! Per your suggestion, I have checked out your blog and wow, you have a lot written and fleshed out with your OCs! Okay, so I guess my first curious question is whether or not you ship any of your OCs with the canon characters and my second question is how does Quentin get along with Grim and Yuu/MC?

Wow, that was fast. You have my admiration for how fast you are at reading my long ass lore stuff.

No, I don't really ship my OCs with canon characters romantically mainly because I just because I can't really do self-insert stuff that consciously. I feel like I'm an angsty person when I make that kinda stuff because of my really old and angsty self-insert OCs I used to have that now I find really cringey and stuff, and I also find it much more interesting when other do it then me. I do have some unconscious things I put in my characters I've noticed over time though.

I do ship some of my OCs with canon characters platonicly though, like Quentin, Kalim, and Jamil in a 'I owe them a lot because they've taught me so much about the world' kinda way both before and after Chapter 4, and Quentin, Malleus, Lilia, and Silver in a 'I really respect you for who you are and where you've come from' way throughout Quentin's personal stories and hopefully through the main story as well. Now that I think about it, I think I have almost every TWST OC I have has some sort of platonic dynamic with a canon character, or that I have in min but haven't written down yet.

As for Quentin's relationship with Grim and MC, I suppose that depends where you are in the story.

In the Prologue, Quentin is on the fence with Grim because she sees how he can be a great wizard with what he can do but because of his attitude and how he holds himself and her experience with those types of people, Quentin knows Grim won't make it too far without change, which is one of the reasoms why she's seen throwing a feast for the first year squad at the end of the Prologue, because she sees great potential in these first years that parallels her group of friends in her homeland, Andalasia that she, in a way, wants to protect from the true horrors the world holds. Grim, on the other hand, sees Quentin in the Prologue as kinda an annoyance because of her kindness that Grim says is just pity. Which he says to her face several times really pisses him off because he doesn't need Quentin's pity. Later on, he gets used to Quentin's kindness but really doesn't accept her for who she is until Chapter 3, when Quentin is first seen showing her own thoughts and feelings in front of others.

Quentin has an unspoken mutual understanding with MC, as Quentin seems to know that MC is going to need some help with understanding Twisted Wonderland and keeping themselves sane like Quentin did those three years ago when she first came to Night Raven College. And, Quentin is more than willing to fill that role for MC because Quentin feels for MC's situation, and MC seems to appreciate that as they say thank you to Quentin a few times in the Prologue.

In Chapters 1 and 2, As Quentin's role as a protective mom figure to the first year squad starts to comes into play and Grim and MC subtlely learn more about her.

Grim becomes somewhat more lenient to Quentin's actions in helping him out, as he starts to see Quentin somewhat more as a person than a helper because of her backsassing the people who have Overblotted and how active she is in the lives of the school's important people.

And MC seems to start to count on Quentin as a dorm leader, even calling her 'Dorm Leader Nighy-Sallow' near the end of Chapter 2 after Cater and the Diasomnia group return from helping the bystanders in the Magshift tournament out. While Quentin starts to adopt her trademark 'I'm the parent of the first year squad!' That she becomes well-known for in the school for in later chapters.

But in Chapters 3 and 4, When Quentin is first seen with very human moments in the other characters' point of view, Grim starts to take a liking to her as he's told and later realizes Quentin is a smart and independent person outside of her motherly role for the first year squad and gains more and more respect for her as the chapters go on because of Quentin's actions, even calling her 'Dorm Leader' in Chapter 4. MC, also seems to realize Quentin is a human being too that probably has seen some things and starts respect Quentin more for her work, and also seems to want to help Quentin out as well. Quentin is suspicious that MC and Grim are faking likely her when in reality that isn't true but deep down she's glad her fellow dormmates accept her.

Yuu with the help of the ramshackle ghosts plays a prank on anyone that stays for a sleepover when they attempt the seance/play with a oujia board. Yuu isn't heartless and usually lets everyone know whats up afterwards cause cardboard and cheap candles shouldn't actually do anything but rumours about Yuu being able to speak with the dead start to spread.

tbh I don't think talking to dead would be that impressive or scary in twst considering they have ghost working in the cafeteria. But I digress.

Yuu decides they have to step up their game at the next sleepover. Because the guys know the dorm is haunted, they see the ghost all the time. They play spelldrive in the garden with them. They ain't afraid of no ghost anymore. Yuu has to reach into their memories and make shit up. Yuu decides to bring back a childhood favorite and introduce their friends to The Evil Thing. They recreate, to the best of their memory, the book from the The Haunting Hour movie, maybe with some embellishments. They put on a whole show of getting the first year gang together, looking terrified, constantly looking over their shoulder as if expecting something, and asking them to stay at Ramshackle tonight. They were scared. They didn't know what to do. The guys agreed.

That night Yuu brought out the book, and explained they had found it amongst Crowleys private collection when he had them clean up his office. They said ever since they found it, weird things have been happening. Ace rolled his eyes, this had to have been another elaborate prank of Yuus. He even took the book off the table and read it out loud. Though wind that had once been still rattled the windows as he did. (Yuus helper for this prank was Malleus, who was listening for someone to read in the other room and using his magic to make all the spooky stuff happen.)

"Remember, don't think about it." Ace shut the book. "See? Nothing happe-" The windows rattled again. Doors started slamming asan inhuman growl echoed through the halls.

"Ace, what did you do!?" Deuce said as he looked around the now dark room.

"It's here." Yuu whispered, sounding terrified, hiding behind Jack. "It's The Evil Thing!"

"There is no Evil Thing!" Sebek said, trying hard to sound brave, but the crack in his normally loud voice said otherwise.

The sound of something heavy dragging along the rickety old floors was heard down the hall, along with the growling. All the boys readied their pens, bracing to fight whatever it was. The sound got closer and closer until it suddenly stopped. The room was silent for a few moments until a large black mass dropped from the ceiling.

They all screamed, ready to hurl whatever spell at it unil a large, familiar red eyespopped out of the mass.

It was Lilia. "Surprise!"
