Everyone thinks Danny is an alien or a ghost, so when the league tried to teach Danny on how to act like a human when he's in a disguise (clothes switched, contacts used and dyed hair for human disguise. Danny didn't tell them about his other half nor had he revealed it), Danny thought it was funny.
Funny that in fact, Danny is an actual human, a living person, a child who goes to school and acts normally when he's with the others.
So when they tried teaching him some lessons about how normal folks don't have the capability to lift a couch with a finger or punch a guy that creates a crater, Danny had to stifle a laughter.
He already knows this, he literally lives as a human but no one has to know that until Maddie came in on the Watchtower (let's imagine that she can be there), Danny became serious as Maddie stares at her SON who was supposed to be grounded.
And with that, Danny panicked and tried to leave by intangibility but Maddie was fast and used one of her ghost capture rope and tied Danny back to her. The heroes were then alarmed by the actions of the woman when they paused to hear the next few words of the said woman.
"Daniel James Fenton! Tell me exactly why you're here when I specifically told you, you were grounded?"
Danny just sheepishly laughed and thought up an excuse when his eyes landed on Batman, "Uhhh.... Batman said I could go here!" Danny pointed.

There's a small-time, just starting out villain staring the Flash down. The villain has an older dog in his arms.
Or he assumes this kid is a villain, seeing as he just stole that dog from the shelter that was literally right behind him.
"Kid," Flash starts, feeling a headache starting up, when another villain comes out from behind the first one.
This one is smaller, a girl, and clearly related to the first.
"Can I at least know why-"
Another one comes out, this one huge, and clearly the father. He has two older dogs in his arms.
"It's a kill shelter! They aren't getting adopted because they're older dogs!" The first villain, a teenage boy meta, explains. Shouts. Both.
"They're precious and cuddly!" The second one, the girl, says, holding up a geriatric and practically rabid Chihuahua.
"Everyone deserves a chance." The final one says, voice just shy of a growl.
Flash sighs.
"Do you have somewhere to put them?"
"Vlad Masters," they all answer with particularly vengeful grins.
Flash decides this must be another relative, and just opts to go pay for the dogs they're leaving with.
And also a bunch of other dogs, swearing to hold onto them until the trio can come back for the rest.

Prompt 47
Hear me out. Amity Park gets shifted in universes slightly- maybe it’s from Pariah, maybe it was a wish, maybe they did so on purpose to escape something- and they end up in the DC-verse. The thing is, thanks to the media blackout and the shields, no one in the new universe notices. The Amityville Paekers know about outside, can go on the internet and leave whenever they want, but they’ve all become more than a little liminal. More than a little off. Movements too graceful, eyes too sharp, ears too pointed and teeth more akin to predatory fangs. Skin with a soft glow, hair moving as though underwater or being tussled by the wind- bodies seemingly unaging after a certain point. They’re so ecto-contaminated that they’re unsure they can even be counted as human anymore, and it wasn’t like the city wasn’t already practically self sufficient. Add in a portal or two through the Infinite Realms to get supplies to start a few fields or some fish farms and well, they’re pretty good. Sure it’s resulted in them using a mixture of modern and older money and having several extinct plants and animals running around but that’s fine. There’s magic in this world! Actual magic, that they can learn! And use? Oh this makes rebuilding after a sparring incident go so much faster!
This results in the hero who stumbles across this place to believe they’ve stumbled across some sort of city of fae or elves.

In the name of love (and gossip) dc x dp
The day had been going normally. Tim had been having breakfast with Cass when Bruce walked in bleary-eyed with a grunt in greeting as he went for the coffee machine. He and Damian has stayed out later than usual yesterday night, as a concession for the fact they couldn't patrol due to tonight's charity gala. Damian was currently staying with Jon, and would be sleeping at the Kent's for a sleepover night.
"Mr. Fenton will be in attendance for tonight's gala," Alfred said as he walked into the kitchen.
Bruce look up so quick, Tim swore he heard his neck crack. "Danny's coming?"
"Indeed, Master Bruce."
"Cat Grant is still on the guest list?"
"Yes, sir," Alfred answered dutifully.
"Perfect," Bruce said as he let a smile stretch across his face before he stood up. "I have some errands to run, I'll see you tonight," he said as he swept outside of the room.
Tim frowned at the strange behaviour before he turned towards Cass who just shrugged and went back to her breakfast.
"Who's Danny?" Tim asked Alfred as he stood up to get himself another cup of coffee.
"Mr. Fenton and Master Bruce were quite close when they were younger. The media went so far as to call them childhood sweethearts," Alfred started as he swapped out the espresso pod Tim had gotten out of the pantry for a decaf one, which had the teen pouting. "When Master Bruce disappeared for his 'backpacking trip through Europe', Mr. Fenton became distressed and made quite a fuss, going so far as offering a reward for information. Eventually, Mr. Fenton acquired a daughter and mostly retired from the public eye." Alfred paused before letting the corner of his lip curl up ever so slightly. "Still, when Master Bruce returned, there was apparently a very explosive and very public confrontation between the two of them. I am told it involved a good amount of tears and shouting."
"Tears?" Tim asked incredulously. Were they talking about the same emotionally-repressed man?
"Just so," Alfred answered with a nod. "They met up a few times since, but it has been a long time since Mr. Fenton was in town. I imagine tonight's gala will be very interesting."
This was disappointingly boring, Tim thought to himself as he sat by the drinks table. Everything had gone as usual, with schmoozing left and right while Bruce charmed the pants off the Gotham elite. Tim sighed. He didn't even have Dick to joke with, since he was on a mission off-planet. Just as he was considering calling Steph to allay his mounting boredom, a hush fell onto the ballroom. All heads turned towards the entrance, where Tim could see a man looking to be in his early-to-mid-thirties walking in with a young woman who bore him a striking resemblance. Both of them were quite attractive and looking very dapper in their obviously high-quality clothes but that didn't justify the crowd's reaction.
In the ensuing silence their arrival had caused, Bruce's greeting of "Danny," seemed very loud. The answering, "Bruce," was just as loud and the two exchanged a charged look and a nod before they both turned away from one another in concert.
Sound gradually came back to its previous level, but now Tim was intrigued. He grabbed a few hors-d'oeuvres and shoved them on a plate as he swerved between guests until he could get up to the balconies, for a better vantage point.
This was the batkids' favourite hideouts during galas, as it was great for making fun of some particularly snobbish guests. Tonight, it would serve for spying on the mysterious Danny.
As the night progressed, Tim noticed both Danny and Bruce giving each other longing looks when the other wasn't looking. On one occasion, Bruce even left a sentence unfinished as he caught sight of Danny, before he shook himself out of it and apologized. His conversation partners just looked at each other with gazes charged with meaning as they brushed off the apology.
At some point, Tim noticed Danny excusing himself from the conversation before he walked out of the ballroom. A moment later, Bruce did the same and followed him out. Tim polished off the last of the appetizer before getting himself back down.
He walked out cautiously, looking around for the two men when he heard voices coming from one of the smaller adjacent hallways. As he crept closer, he chanced a look around the corner to see Bruce and Danny talking to each other. He walked in closer to get a better view, only to quickly duck out of view when Bruce looked in his direction.
As Tim walked back further into the hidden nook, he had to stop himself from shrieking when he came into contact with a body.
"Yo," whispered who Tim now recognized as Ellie, Danny's daughter holding a cup of the punch and looking very relaxed.
"Hi?" Tim whispered back still trying to calm down his beating heart. "What are you doing her-"
"Shhh," she interrupted him, as she looked towards the two men. "They're getting to the good part."
Tim followed her lead and turned his attention back towards the two men.
"... I just wonder sometimes, what could've been," Danny looked into the distance wistfully, before he turned back towards Bruce, longing in his eyes.
"It's not too late," Bruce said passionately as he took the other man's hands. "We can still try again."
"No, Bruce." Danny took his hands away reluctantly, as if the very action was painful. "We're no longer the people we used to be." Then, he smiled, aching and fragile before continuing. "We have different lives now, there's no use clinging to the past."
"Danny please," said Bruce as he raised his hand to cup the other man's cheek tenderly. With a wretched sigh, Danny's resistance seemed to break as he let himself nuzzle into the larger man's palm, looking as if he couldn't help himself from seeking its warmth.
"Well, I'm up," Ellie breathed out before downing her cup. "Wish me luck!" she said as she walked off before Tim could get a chance to hold her back.
"Dad!" she called out loudly, as if completely oblivious to the atmosphere.
Danny tore himself away from Bruce's grasp guiltily as he turned towards his rapidly approaching daughter.
"Ellie," Danny said as he visibly collected himself. "What are you doing here?"
"The party was boring so I went to find you." She pouted. Then, as if just noticing the man, she exclaimed, "Mr. Wayne! We didn't have the chance to talk earlier, it's been so long!"
"Hello, Ellie," Bruce answered back warmly, despite looking still a little raw around the edges. "You've grown a lot since I last saw you."
"Well, I sure hope so," Ellie said jokingly. "It's been what, five years?"
"Yes, it has," Bruce answered, but he was looking at Danny who was doing his best to avoid Bruce's pleading gaze.
"If you're tired of the party already, why don't we go home early?" Danny suggested studiously avoiding the other man's eye.
"Really? We can go?" Ellie asked hopefully.
"Yes, sweetie," Danny said as he ruffled his daughter's head playfully.
"Dad! My hair!" she whined, as she patted it back in place. "Alright, give me a minute to get my bag, then we can go."
With that she started turning away before she stopped herself and turned back towards Bruce. "You should come visit us sometime, Mr. Wayne! Dad wouldn't say it but he misses you." With that, she turned with a twirl of fabric and started walking towards the ballroom. Danny ran a hand through his hair as he sighed.
"You missed me?" Bruce asked, one part teasing and one part hopeful.
"You know I have," Danny looked up at the taller man, sounding defeated yet fond.
"I missed you too," Bruce breathed out as he brought his face closer and closer, until their lips were almost brushing-
"Mr. Wayne!" A voice came from the ballroom.
The spell broke and once again, the two men separated.
"I have to go," Danny mumbled as he took the chance to extirpate himself and start back in the same direction his daughter had gone.
"Danny, wait!" Bruce got out. "Could I really come visit you?" he stuttered out breathlessly.
Danny stopped, but didn't turn around as he answered in a voice clearly rough with emotions. "You'll always be welcome, Bruce. You know that." And then, he walked away.
Bruce kept his eyes glued onto Danny's departing back, until the other man's figure was swallowed in the crowd and disappeared. The sigh he let out was full of melancholy, but when he looked up again, his gaze was determinate. A beat later, he followed Danny into the ballroom.
Tim stayed where he was for a moment, just contemplating everything, before he started to move, but before he could come out of hiding, there was a movement in front of him. Freezing in place, he looked on as Cat Grant came out of what seemed to be her very own hiding spot. She looked around for any witness before she too snuck back towards the ballroom. Tim let his head hit the wall behind him.
What the hell had just happened.

Can we talk about this for a second
This scene is framed so ominously, with the extreme close-up of Phantom's eyes opening and Clockwork's implication of danger, but Vlad himself looks so small and vulnerable. Maybe even awestruck.
He's been driven by nothing but bitter loneliness for decades (and thank you Epstein for my life for canonizing this), and now twice in quick succession he's lost everything he's worked so hard to gain. And it's his own fault. He's the problem. He can't delude himself about that any longer.
And only by recognizing and owning up to his past mistakes is he finally, finally granted one of those precious things his money and influence couldn't buy: a family (maybe even a son?). One he feels a genuine kinship with and is committed to protecting.
He seems genuinely humbled by everything that's happened, and while I doubt it'll be a smooth transition, I believe he's sincere about trying to start fresh. If for no other reason, I hope there are more comics someday just so we can see Vlad's growth (and maybe healing?) over time.

DC x DP Prompt
"I may think of you softly from time to time. But I’ll cut off my hand before I ever reach for you again."
//Arthur Miller, The Crucible: A Play in Four Acts
Trust me, I know it's just a quote but I believe that this would be such a good concept for the Demon Twin AU.
Like, I just imagine a scene where Danny and Damian are standing across the street from one another, Gotham traffic bustling between them. The sky is dark, and the rain is pouring. They have places to be just like the people they were blocking by standing in the middle of the street. But at that moment there was no fear, hatred, envy, or jealousy between the two. Only soft sorrowful longing as venomous green meets electric blue.
But the moment is broken when their respective families come up to them asking what's wrong. They both say it's nothing and move in the opposite direction, barely acknowledging each other's presence.

Danny finds Vlad.
The house felt... Wrong. That was the best way Danny would explain it as he approached his front door.
The air seemed thicker, a darkness seemed to shadow over the Fenton home. And just his house. A glance around his neighbourhood confirmed it.
Anxiety and terror gripped heavy at his heart, in a way Danny couldn't explain. He slowly unlocked the front door and entered the house.
It felt almost like diving into an ice cool pool of water, but not as comforting. The chill that reached his bones was not the type of cold he liked.
Heat seemed to lick at the edges of his existence. Pushing and shoving against him, but just out of reach.
A shiver ran down his spine, a familiar puff of air followed.
Danny knew it wasn't danger. Whatever ghost that was here wasn't a threat. Not with the way the house's security system hadn't kicked in.
Not in the way his parents were chatting animatedly in the kitchen. Munching away at leftover pizza and fudge as they spoke of their current experiment.
"Danny-Boy! You wont believe this!"
"We have none other than the Wisconsion Ghost in the lab!"
The heat suddenly made sense. Danny turned wide eyes toward the closed lab doors. His parents excitment only fueled his fear.
They had Vlad.
They had him, and they could have done absolutely anything to him. The lack of mentioning Vladimir Masters only meant one thing.
Vlad hasn't broken.
"Feel free to take a look, we'll be down in a bit after our break."
Maddie's words with kind and light but that did nothing to stop Danny from suddenly feeling terrified.
For the first time, Danny truly felt terrified by his parents. A strange sense of fligh or fight filled him at the sight of them.
The smell of fresh ectoplasm that clinged to them. The traces still noticeable in the threads of their jumpsuits.
Danny barely managed to force an excited smile, taking his mother up on the offer. Made his way down the lab stairs on shaking knees.
He barely stopped the scream from tearing itself from his throat. Tears filled his eyes as he stared at the scene before him.
Plasmius, no, Vlad was restrained to the table that has haunted Danny's nightmares in the past. Metal securing his limbs, a thicker, greener piece wrapped tightly around his throat.
Black hair splayed unrully against the table, an IV was attached to one arm, a strange green and pink substance inside.
"Vlad."
Danny voice shook and cracked as he spoke, soft steps leading him closer to the still figure.
Bile rose in the back from his throat, tears finally springing free at the sight.
Pale blue-tinted skin peeled back to expose the array of organs laid beneath. Ribs cracked and pulled open.
That wasn't what did it. No, it was the glowing red and orange core that stared back at him. The piece of muscle that used to protect is pulled back just the same.
"Daniel?"
Vlad's voice was hoarse enough to allude to the screaming he likely did. Hazed over red eyes gazed over at the teen. A hand twitched.
Danny couldn't stopped the choked sound that left him. With shaking hands, he tried to make quick work of putting him back together. Shifting skin, bone, muscle and viscera back in it's place.
Letting out soft apologies at ever pained noise Vlad made. Every soft curse, or muscle twitch.
Ears perked and ready to warn of his parents decent if they came down before he was done.
He hoped against everything they didn't. He didn't think he could ever look at his parents the same ever again. Not without the images flashing before his eyes, and bile rising once more.
The teen did the best he could to detatch himself from the fact at hand. The enemy that he had to put back together.
The enemy he's called a monster on more than one occasion. Right now, the only monsters he could think of were his parents.
Right now, Vlad wasn't just his enemy. He was the man who helped him learn more about being a Halfa. He was the man that protected him from his own parents, even in the middle of battle.
He was the only other Halfa in existence.
He was his God-Father.
Even if Vlad hissed at the touch, Danny coated the incisions in a layer of ice. Ensuring there would be no concern of spillage once he moved him.
Next, the restrains were removed. Following was the removal of the IV.
Summoning all his strength to hold up the limp body of Vlad against him. Brain trying to figure out the next course of action.
"Home."
The word was so soft and broken, without his enhanced hearing, Danny was sure he would have missed it.
It felt like ages, yet not long enough before Danny found himself at Vlad's mansion. Laying him down in the first bed he found.
Watched as the ice melted away into steam, Vlad's core finally kicking in to take over. More smoke rose as the skin at the incision mark bubbled and reddened. Burning together and closed.
Danny quickly gathered an ointment Vlad had in his bathroom medicine cabinet, likely to help their ghostly nature. Along with a damp towel, bottled water, and a prescription for high-dose pain medication.
He made quick work at trying to help Vlad get more comfortable. Trying to be as gentle as he could, still apologizing every time Vlad made a noise of pain and discomfort.
The aggressive heat Danny felt before had give way, leaving being a soft warm feeling of a camp fire. Vlad's eyes flickered open and closed, trying to watch Danny despite the exhaustion that pulled at him.
Moments blurred together, and Danny wasn't sure when Vlad reverted back to human form. The shift made Vlad look all the more like a victim of monsters than when he had the inhumane touches.
Danny couldn't pull himself from Vlad, staying right by his side as he softly wiped sweat from his forehead, and held his hand.
Despite everything Vlad has put him through, Danny couldn't leave him. Not like this. Not now. Not ever.
"Thank you, Little Badger."
Danny swallowed against the lump in his throat, squeezing the hand he held as tears leaked from Vlad's blue eyes.
Exhaustion seemed to finally win the battle, Vlad settled into medicated sleep. Danny whispering a promise that he wasn't going anywhere.
Because he wasn't.
There was no way in hell that Danny was going back home. He couldn't. It didn't matter if his parents might never do this to him if they ever found out.
What matter was that they actually did it. After all the talk, and threats for years, they finally actually did it.
They held a ghost defenseless and trapped, and cut him opened. Reveled in it. They had been bursting with pride and excitment at their work. Fear and disgust slowly gave way to anger.
He was never going back.
And he'll be damned if he let them get their hands on Vlad once again.

Just finished watching Wendigoon's video about Hisashi Ouchi and had a terrible, awful, no-good DP prompt idea come into my head. Come suffer with me.
So the Fentons constantly threaten to tear ghosts apart "molecule by molecule" right? What if they managed to make an anti-ghost weapon that made good on that threat? One that tore apart ghostly DNA or ectoplasm, and just straight-up turned any ghost hit by it into green goop, melted within seconds like Danny's clones?
So I imagine that at some point after destroying a couple of ghosts with this new weapon, Jack and Maddie finally manage to corner Phantom somehow. Terrified, Danny is left with no choice but to try to explain who and what he is, hoping to all the Ancients that it will be enough to stop them from hurting him.
Unfortunately for him, the Fentons don't really listen at first and shoot him point blank.
Danny puts his arms up to protect himself and closes his eyes, trembling in abject fear, imagining himself melting away into a pile of goop right in front of his parents. He desperately hopes it's quick and painless. He waits for the end.
...and waits
... and waits
The Fentons and Danny both feel shocked, but Danny eventually laughs (a bit hysterically) and continues explaining his accident, intensely relieved that his half-human nature had protected him from this weapon.
Once he explains everything, the Fentons apologize with tears in their eyes for how they had treated him. They accept him for who he is, and promise to do their best to learn more about ghosts' true natures. They decide to use their inventions in an actually scientific, ethical way, to learn more about this culture and people. Danny and Jazz are both ecstatic. Everything seems perfect. Sure, Danny might have thrown up and passed out the minute they got home from that little talk, and sure, his skin turned a bit red and painful where he got hit, but that was the extent of it, right? His human half purged the effects of the weapon from his body, no harm no foul.
But they all forget that while Danny's DNA is half human, it is also half ghostly in nature, and the weapon just tore through those parts of him like bullets through paper.
A week later, Danny's skin starts to feel like it's burning

Prompt 259
You know, going back in time, they thought it would be easy. Stop the end of the world by preventing the Being from well, coming into being. It should be easy to take them out, one death to prevent an untold amount of them. What could a child do?
Well.
They really should have remembered that with a child usually comes their parent as well. And erm, said parent doesn’t seem to appreciate their logic. In fact, they are… getting their ass kicked. By a civilian. A feral civilian who apparently is very protective of said child-who-ends-up-destroying-the-world.
They might need assistance…

Vlad Masters' character just routinely shoots me in the heart. He's a man who, when you boil him way down, just wants a family. His primary, baseline desire is simply to be loved, by a family that he can also love and protect. He's lonely. The problem is, is that he's been hurt in his life, and he's let his resulting bitterness, trauma, and hatred twist and warp how he goes about trying to get the love he wants. His pain has corrupted his morals, which in turn drives potential love away from him, which in turn makes him more desperate as the love evades him, which in turn pushes him to more and more drastic lengths to get what he longs for, which in turn continues this vicious cycle. He continually sabotages himself, but can't realize that because of how far he's sunk in his misery.
It's incredible setup for a redemption arc, wherein Vlad, through multiple events, is aggressively jolted into realizing how he's destroying himself, and subsequently everyone around him. He goes through his repentance and redemption and to Danny, expresses that he's always just wanted to take care of him. That he's always wanted to protect the younger halfa and be someone important to him, but he let his pain poison everything and he did so many things he regrets now, and is there any possible way he could give him a second chance? And Danny can tell that Vlad's actually aware now. He knows just how much he'd been screwing himself over; it's easy to see in his tormented expression.
And as time passes and Vlad works on fixing things, he gradually grows the family he's wanted for so long. It starts with Danny, hesitant to trust him at first but loosening up the more he sees that Vlad's genuine. Then Jazz, who's much more willing to forgive him since she sees Danny's giving him a chance. Eventually Tucker and Sam, too, who end up crashing at Vlad's house more than once with Danny. Tucker shares a common interest of hacking government databases with Vlad and Sam likes to team up with him to harass other rich people. Valerie takes much longer, even longer than Danny, but time slips by and the tension in her shoulders starts to ease whenever she's around Vlad, and at some point she's started crashing at his house with the trio. Eventually Vlad brings himself to visit the Fentons, to pull Maddie aside and apologize, to take a deep breath and clear his head and give Jack a second chance, since he's gotten one. Danielle's the last one, and it takes a long, ugly, agonizing process with a lot of crying and fighting and white-flag-waving, but the day Vlad sits with his daughter asleep his arms and Danny and Danny's friends napping in a blanket fort in the living room, is the day he feels loved.

DP X DC WRITING PROMPT #4
Just a Shade
Vlad blasts Phantom with a new invention of his without any warning. What it does is it siphons away his ectoplasm and weakens Phantom to the point it reverses his powers, but not in the way you think. Instead of needing to concentrate to be intangible/invisible, he has to concentrate to stay tangible/visible and trying exhaustes him to a dangerous amount. Like, almost passing out and fading away entirely kind of dangerous. Like this, he's like ghosts you see in some movies, he can't touch or move objects more than an inch, plus add in he can't speak other than some ominous noises. In other words, he's stuck. For who knows how long.
The Justice League haven't heard from Phantom for a while, but they just think he's probably more busy on his home terf and can't spare any time. That's fine. Everyone keeps going about their business as usual. Even more time passes and the Justice League are getting suspicious over Phantom's absence and are worried.
They go looking for him and come to find out that they've been receiving multiple messages and calls from Team Phantom that were blocked/jammed, asking if they've seen the missing ghost and that he never came home however long ago. JL asks Team Phantom when was they heard from him and what was he doing at the time. They tell JL that he was last seen fighting one of his rogues, Plasmius, but that they haven't seen the evil ghost for a while either and that the other rogues were acting strangely.
The JL go to Amity Park with the proper precautions, and find a hoard of angry ghosts swarming the mayor's home, but they're being blocked from entering by a ghost shield. The JL cautiously asked some of the ghosts what was going on and they reply that the man hiding behind the ghost shield has harmed and stolen their Prince. The JL decide to pass through and break down the door to the house.
The house is eerily quiet as they search for the resident. They find Vlad curled up on the floor in one of the corners of the lab absolutely beside himself. His face is splotchy red, bags under bloodshot eyes, and hair in disarray. His usually well kept suit is dirty and torn. He rocks back and forth mumbling, "I didn't mean to. Never wanted to end him. Never. Never." Vlad thinks he killed Danny all the way dead, so his mental state is in shambles.
He's terrified once he sees the JL there. He went through all the trouble of jamming any correspondence between them and Amity Park in fear of them taking retribution for offing one of their members, unintentional or not. The JL are furious and grief stricken for the loss of the young ghost. That is until Superman picks up on the faint sound of something clicking and a sound similar to harsh wind hitting bare branches. He brings it to the other's attention and they start searching for the noise when Batman recognizes the clicks as code.
They find a pen on the table next to a messy handwritten note, the words rushed and staggered as if the writer kept being interrupted. The note read:
"Help. Trapped. Need portal. Far Frozen. To weak to open myself."
The JL are confused until they see Phantom's form flicker in and out of focus like a film reel. He looks terribly gaunt and exhausted to the point of almost collapsing. The JL get to work opening the portal with the help of a frantic Vlad, securing a ghost net to carry Phantom in like a stretcher, and booting up a map of the Ghost Zone to get to the Far Frozen. The JL decide to send the three leaders, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. With Phantom secured in the net and all three ready to go, they step into the portal.
I'm kinda reminded of that fic where Danny is stuck in-between dimensions because of his parents so he decides to haunt the Watchtower to get the Justice League's help. Not trying to copy anything I swear. I woke up with this idea on the brain.
