Like ramshackle is their hq and ljke what you said they originally became famous bc of the poster with bad marker quality, several malleus stickers and deuce's thirst trap photo, but the customers do find other favorites besides deuce (but hes still the most popular- like tamaki but he has no idea what hes doing lol)

And then the rsa LI hearing abt this (either from gossip or soxial media you do yiu) and then they become regulars at the nrc first years host club

PFFFFFT-- O M G YASSSS COMBINING THE RSA TRIP WITH THE VACATION FUND IS GENIUS, THIS IS THE SPIN OFF WHERE THE FIRST-YEARS START NRC'S FIRST HOST CLUB TO PAY FOR THEIR VACATION!!! the idea that the shitty poster still makes people endlessly thirsty is so funny to me lol.

deuce is the kind, understanding date, who has a big heart but can also protect you if need be. he's literally a dreamboat come to life. the only downside is that the client has to plan their dates -- otherwise, deuce might actually take them to an egg farm, lol.

ace is the quote unquote "fun" one, who is down to literally anything as long as it's entertaining enough. polar opposite of deuce, in that he's GREAT at date-planning, and he's the second-highest in terms of ratings.

epel and yuu are a "double date" sort of deal, where yuu's simple charm and understanding personality contrasts very greatly with epel's more "rough-and-tumble" approach to life. epel is THIS close to cursing out the waitress for giving you lobster in your meal even though you specifically asked them not to because your allergic, meanwhile yuu keeps epel from making a scene (but is simultaneously calling in a favor from azul to sue this place to the ground, lol).

i honestly can't imagine sebek or jack ever agreeing to do this, but if they were somehow blackmailed into it (or drawn to the compel of more money to put into their vacation fund), it would be the most tsundere thing in existence--

AND ORTHO HAS HIS OWN LITTLE "RENT-A-FRIEND" BOOTH IN THE CORNER AHHHHHHH (he's basically taken over yuu's position as the therapist friend, fr fr)

Been watching Apothecary Diaries lately, and I've been thinking about an apothecary!Yuu like MaoMao. She's got poison and medicinal knowledge in her belt. Similarly to MaoMao, Yuu acquired immunity to poisons by building up her tolerance and test them on herself

There's this ongoing gag in the anime that the ladies-in-waiting who MaoMao is working with assume that she's been mistreated because of her bandaged arm (this is not actually the case, MaoMao was just experimenting poisons and treatments on her arm).

Imagine the concern the Fab Five feels when they see Yuu's bandaged arm. It pushed them to hire her as quickly as possible and even give her a higher salary than what a waitress usually earns.

Yuu gets way too excited about tasting poisons and making drugs that Yzma and the Evil Queen give to her experiment. Even though, Yuu has a tolerance to most poisons, Mickey or Minnie are still shoving emetic agents her way to get rid of the poison. That or they say things likes, "No bad, Yuu! Spit it out" kind of like what they do to Pluto whenever he would start chewing on strange things.

Recalling your 'Pluto Saves the Day' oneshot,' imagine Pete losing his mind that Yuu is still after taking a bite of the poison apple that he gave her. She rats him out to Grimhilde later on.

So I've never seen the anime but it sounds like a fun ride

I do love the idea of a Yuu that's already a potions expert (she was already Crewel's favourite student but now he makes absolutely no indication of even hiding the fact that he dotes on her and sees her as a daughter)

Mickey was a sorcerer's apprentice once so I'm pretty sure he knows how to treat the adverse effects of potions but that still doesn't stop him from having a meeska mooska mental breakdown when he sees Yuu chug down a vial of her latest untested concoction without a care in the world

Ursula seems to be talented in potions during Poor Unfortunate Souls - as well as the few episodes of the Little Mermaid TV show that I faintly remember - since she is a sea witch so I can see her fawning over Yuu's skills with Yzma and the Evil Queen (also did Hades make the 'turn a god into a mortal' potion or did he just have it on standby? I'd go check but I'm really not bothered to)

Since the Staff is technically twisted variants of Disney Villians, I figured these weapons would also be a parallel to the Heroes. I didn't know if Crowley was based on Malefcient's Crow; Diavalo or not. I'll make Heroes Verison weapons because I did ones based on the Heroines.

I could totally see Yuu kissing Ruggie on the cheek to help sell them being a couple when they go to restaurants with those discounts for couples lol.

Oh, ABSOLUTELY. Those two are all about getting a good deal, so once they realize how much they can benefit from being a couple, those two go on "dates" whenever they're both free and need to make a trip into town.

Yuu was actually the first person who realized what a great idea this was. After finding out from Cater about a local sweets shop that was offering a limited time only dessert for couples, she wasted no time in seeking out Ruggie, who immediately called her a genius for opening up this whole new realm of possibilities for them lol 😂

They both do a very convincing job at it too since Yuu is so physically affectionate, and Ruggie doesn't get overly flustered and he doesn't mind the physical affection. What really helps them out is how Ruggie's tail will wag a lot whenever Yuu kisses him, which has made plenty of store owners/waitresses coo at the "lovebirds" XD

I don't know if you've ever watched BSD {Bungo Stray Dogs} but I've been constantly thinking of {Lucy Maud Montgomery} Yuu with the Twst and HOM cast. Like this Yuu will be very blunt and rude at first to many at first {she's got trust issues}. But she can show true kindness and concern for those around her {almost like a 'tsudere', but obviously platonic with the HOM staff}.

Anyways feel free to ignore this if it didn't make sense but also feel free to look her up or possibly watch some of the episodes to get a better understanding of her, she's honestly really cool.

Okay so I don't have a Lucy!Yuu but one of my main Yuus (that I am completely normal about) is a fem!Atsushi!Yuu that I pair with Leona who's also besties with Shere Khan and Rajah (for obvious reasons) in the HoM!AU

I think Atsushi!Yuu would also be really close with Quasimodo since they have the whole religious trauma/being treated like a freak/locked up and isolated just for existing thing

A Lucy!Yuu does sound fitting though, considering she is a waitress back in BSD 😊(and her ability is literally so OP (but Atsushi's/Kunikida's are my favourites - I'd like Yosano's a bit more if the 'condition' wasn't so traumatic XD))

I was listening to one of my broadway playlists and thought, "Hey! this reminds me of (insert twst character)." That single thought lead me down a rabbit hole of finding songs (specifically from musicals) that match the characters! So without further ado: Songs of Heartslabyul

Riddle Roseheart "Don't Break the Rules" from Catch Me if You Can ~ This song is literally titled "Don't Break the Rules" and Heyratty is as rule-abiding as Riddle; using this song to explain why. Certain lyrics that reminded me of the teapot tyrant are: "You thumb your nose at the light for which I strive, but those rules those laws keep us alive!", "When you steal somebody's money /Screw his daughter or his wife You don't think of repercussions /As you tap dance through your life /Though you smile like you're a hero /You're an outlaw through and through", and "The Game ain't worth winning if you're breaking all the rules!"

Trey Clover "What Baking Can Do" from Waitress ~ The moral of this song is how baking helps the singer forget all the troubles in their life and cover up how they truly feel inside. Trey is well known for his baking and how it helps him solve problems, just like it does for Jenna. Carter Diamond "Dancing through Life" from Wicked ~ Fiyro is pretty similar to Cater in some aspects. Both characters hide their true personalities behind carefree personas. This song in particular makes me think of when Yuu first meets Cater in Book 1. Deuce Spade "Good Kid" from The Lightning Thief the Musical ~ This song embodies Deuce. Both Percy and Deuce are seen as delinquents and are trying to do better for their moms. It displays both of their frustrations with themselves and those around them as they try to be a "good kid". "Gee, Officer Krupke" from West Side Story ~ The sarcastic and fun-poking nature of this song makes me think of Ace leading the other Heartstyble freshman in a song mocking Riddle for "offing" their heads. the ravens eye diner

the ravens eye is a diner fixated in the middle of the university campus. it’s mostly ran by students, with waiters, cooks, and hosts all working to make a bit of money to get them through their studies. y/n is no different from the rest, working as a waitress for the quaint diner. but taking orders, running food, and cleaning booths gets a bit mundane after a while, so where will she find light in the diner?

Her curiosity preceded her, often getting her into more trouble than was necessary but ended in a lesson never truly learned. However, it was really a concern at the moment as her attention was more of on a particular bio-luminescent fish that Yuu had hoped to get a closer look at but had always quickly paddled away before she could get too close. Other students of the dorm had simply watched her, bemused by her jogging back and forth essentially chasing the creature in the large aquarium window within Octavinelle's Mostro Lounge. Yes, she and Grim both had been told in the past to leave the sea life alone; yes, for the most part she'd listened while Grim stared mouth dripping at the tasty prospects but this time was different.

Even still though she hadn't thought about it she had known she was likely distracting the other patrons, and in following this glowing fish around she most definitely wasn't preforming her task in waitressing her job all but forgotten for the moment.

It wasn't until she felt herself bump into a larger member of the staff that her attention finally moved from the fish in question, which had finally dove behind a rock, and up towards the person or rather merman she'd nearly run face first into. Words of 'don't get distracted' instantly filled her mind bringing her back to the time where she was still new and needed proper training, Yuu's face paling as Floyd chuckled down at her. She'd been so focused on such a small thing she hadn't realized she'd caused such a disturbance in the lounge, other staff and patrons alike clearly irritated. One of the other waiters must've gotten Floyd, and if Floyd knew Jade would eventually know which would get back to Azul which would mean...

"Don't tell!" Yuu placed her hands in front of her face in a pleading manner. "I-I'm sorry it was just so pretty and I wanted a closer look and I didn't mean to--it wasn't my intention to do any of...this." She waved her arm behind her the glowers not at all receding back any. "And-and I know I'm not supposed to get distracted by the sea life and I'm supposed to leave nature be, but you know like I said it was so pretty I just wanted to see what it looked like closer but it kept swimming away when I got close and I don't know I was determined." She spoke quickly in effort to defend herself, her words blending together nearly in a way that it was hard to fully keep up, it was pitiful really.

"I won't do it anymore, I promise. Just please don't tell. Please Floyd, please!" Whether she actually wouldn't get distracted again was highly unlikely of course but for now she had known she wouldn't be any more a bother.
