As someone who's used the Embassy Row series as an emotional crutch since I was in middle school, here's how I think Halsey's "Walls Could Talk" applies to the series. Enjoy my brainrot.

Been about three days and I'm comin' back Grace coming back to Adria after 3 years I'm about four minutes from a heart attack Her immediate panic attack and flashbacks And I think you make me a maniac Alexei literally existing, and the scarred man being a general menace But you don't know, oh This can be either Alexei not knowing about her crush, how no one knew she had a history of accusing men of being the "scarred man", or how she didn't know she killed her mom Two years and we in between The 3 years she wasn't in Adria, or the 2 year age gap between Grace and Alexei But we both been here since we 17 Not the actual age "17", but how all of the main characters have been in Adria since they were kids Here we go, fist fight in a limousine When Grace breaks down in a limousine TWICE But they don't know How no one knew what she was doing when she went to live with the Royal Family in book 3, as she was having her second limousine breakdown

And we both hope there's something The flirty vibes that went nowhere in the first book But we bo-both keep fronting He's lying, she's lying, they're all lying at some points And it's a closed discussion This is such a general term and could refer to any number of scenes in the book And I'm thinking, "Damn, if these walls could talk" (oh-oh-oh) All of the buildings and places that hold secrets (The Tunnels, The Palace, The Society hq)

Well, they'd be like (oh-oh-oh) "Shit is crazy, right?" (Oh-oh-oh) Again, could refer to literally anything I ain't your baby no more So, in the song this is referring to the singer not being the partner to the subject of the song, however in the context of the books, I see this as how much of the main cast grow up and away from their innocence and childhoods. See, Grace no longer relying on Jamie, Alexei realizing that honor won't save him, Rosie becoming less of a child, Megan growing more confident in herself, and Lila and Noah's relationship becoming less strained.

The only thing ineffable bureaucracy showed me is how hyper focused this fanbase is at seeing one thing and one thing only and everything else is a result of that one thing

1) no, Beelzebub and Gabriel are not a straight couple. Nor is Crowley and Aziraphale a gay couple. Stop the non-binary erasure or go outside and talk to an actual non-binary person cuz clearly you have no clue what non-binary is "they're straight presenting" wtf? If you think that please give me your name so I can block you. Cis people, I fucking swear.

Reminder that Beelz used they/them pronouns btw. Sorry that Beelzebub doesn't "pass" for you, it doesn't make them any less non-binary. Not to mention it was stated and already IS CANON that none of them have genders. They're god damn demons and angels, bruh.

2) "it's Gabriel's and Beelz's fault that ineffable husbands didn't get their happy ending": no. It's their own damn fault for not communicating and Aziraphale's inability to accept Crowley as he is. Gabriel and Beelzebub put each other first. Y'all sound salty as hell cuz two people managed to work their relationship out and yours didn't work out. "But if they didn't get together---" y'all really saying shit like this??? Do you hear yourself? That's so sad. Wishing for the doom of one LGBTQ+ ship cuz the other fucked themselves over. THEY CAN BOTH CO-EXIST. And you know what? They will. Cuz Ineffable husbands is clearly canon, the story just wants time with them cuz they're the main characters, not like Beelz and Gabriel who were side characters so had their story summarized.

3) "that should have been ineffable husbands" no, cuz Crowley and Aziraphale aren't Gabriel and Beelzebub. They're different characters with different backgrounds, personalities, relationship structure, and different relationship dynamic in general. They'll get together in a way that fits THEM. And that way requires ups and downs that makes them finally understand that they're perfect for each other without the need for either of them to change.

4) Gabriel was such an asshole wish Crowley got his revenge and--- bla bla BLA : Crowley was happy for them. You hold a grudge over Gabriel that Crowley himself doesn't. Y'all worse than a literal demon. Smh.

Be happy for what we got and look forward to the future where ineffable husbands will certainly become canon and it'll be worth the wait. Don't tear down the LGBTQ+ presentation we got just cuz the main ship didn't get the limelight THIS TIME.

Let things cook, that's how writing WORKS.

But I'm just an Agender demi person and tbh? I would prefer if things took their time.

I love both ships a lot but I'm not gonna hold pitchforks over one ship getting a happy end and one still developing. Come next season, that happy end for Gaberiel and Beelzebub might not last. We DONT KNOW. Do we really need to sacrifice one for the other? Why can't we be happy to have both?

Just really think the vibe of the fanbase rn fuckin SUCKS and I'm not enjoying trying to go through the ineffable bureaucracy tag and seeing people complaining about how it should have been ineffable husbands or how it's their fault.

ok; so we know next to nothing about Dragonlords in canon, because there's literally 2 of them in canon, Balinor and Merlin, so the whole inheritance thing isn't really fleshed out. Can only sons inherit. if a Dragonlord has multiple children does only the oldest inherit. I only the oldest inherits do the others have Magic and so on.

For this idea I took the option of all the children have varying degrees of Magic, but only the oldest would inherit the actual commanding a Dragon.

Anyway back to the actual idea:

VERSION 1#

Balinor wasn't an only child. He had a younger brother. A younger brother who by the time of the Purge was already married and had a son. He like all the other folks gets arrested and burned at the stake. His wife then immediately remarries to protect her son from being drowned and is like "my child, son of a sorcerer? oh no sir" and lies about having stepped out on her husband. So at the end not even her son knows who his real father is.

This child also doesn't know he has magic, because like Morgana he repressed it. Being marginally less powerful than either Merlin or Morgana he never notices. He joins the knights and one day he unknowingly meets his younger cousin. No one sees the resemlancy, because unlike the rest of his family he inhereted his mothers blond hair.

Now you may be wondering who this son is. It's Leon. And one day After s2e13 The Last Dragonlord, but Balinor survived and is hiding at his families old Keep. So anyway Leons mom meets Merlin and is like "Balinor?" cause Merlin looks a lot like Balinor did as a teenager. And that's how Leon learns he has magic and a stupidly powerful cousin. And later meets his grumpy uncle and together they might manage to teach Merlin some swordfighting.

and at some point there's the typical magic/dragonlord reveal.

VERSION 2#

In my second version the younger brother survives the Purge and flees to Cearleon where he changes his name etc. and joins the knights there maybe falls in love again and has a second son. He later dies in the Kings service. Leaving his second wife and son penniless.

Because of magic and destiny and what not. The second son also meets Merlin later in his life. He like Leon is part of the Knights of the Round Table. And Leon is like wtf THAT'S?! my little brother?

So now Balinor has his cryptid, magic god son, his noble knight nephew and his not so noble tavern-loving nephew, aka Gwaine.

Berlin, episode 1 - a spoiler-filled live reaction/commentary

Our man wears a turtleneck from the get-go, which I find hilarious.

Roi sees him as the father he never had, while Berlin sees Roi as "a loyal dog he walks every day" -- right, I'm totally going to write these two, and not just because Roi calls him "sir" and shines his shoes.

Damien is a Professor but for real.

During the first heist we see of the gang, a random guest clocks the team as "not police " in about a minute, seemingly based on Keyla's glasses/fidgeting -- okay I guess?? Make that conflict, Pina & Co!

Also iirc Berlin pulls out a bag to put the stolen artifact out of his ass thin air.

I've gotten most of my books from a local bookstore. Ten years ago it was quite literally the only place where you could find sw books in Thessaloniki. The owner still knows me by name.

Sadly since the Expanded Universe has been discontinued, which means no new reprints... the store doesn't get orders anymore, so I've turned to eBay for secondhand copies in the last three years.

Other than that... I've bought two figures, a Han one and a Jaina one, from a comic book store in Athens. And... I've also got some other random stuff like mugs and... bandanas that are all gifts. So you'll have to ask my friends where they got them from.

16. What made me fall in love

I honestly... don't remember. I was very young. I watched the movies for the first time when I was 2 (the originals at least, the prequels weren't all out yet), and I got more seriously into it when I was 12. So if I have to be honest... probably the lightsabers lol I remember being obsessed with the Jedi, used to have a Padawan braid and all.

But I also remember analyzing individual characters and relationships very early on, as a young teen. So I guess... what kept me into it were indeed... once again... the interpersonal relationships. The dynamics of the entire Skywalker family especially lots of projecting to do here

18. ✨ Fanfiction ✨

My entire writing career ("career") began with me writing Star Wars fanfiction and guess what? Still on it. Occasionally. Admittedly far far less frequently ever since I began working on original fiction.

Even though I used to have many many MANY Star Wars OCs as a teen, so most of my older writing was about them... I've stopped not just "playing" with them but even considering them. So now my fanfics are all complementary to the source material. All very canon-compliant. Like missing scenes, filling in the gaps. Dialogues. Snapshots. Yeah.

literally got more than 400 pages worth of stuff I wrote as a teenager. I was obsessed obsessed. The newer stuff barely amounts to 20 pages or so. Cry with me.

WHY DID I START THIS CHAPTER WITH DOREMI AND MOMOKO TRYING TO SPY ON ONPU AND TOORU ALONE IN THEIR BEDROOM???? "They don't even know what perverts means." IN THIS STORY THEY ARE EIGHTEEN I ASSURE YOU THEY KNOW WHAT IT MEANS.

Hang on a minute. That scene happened. Doremi and Momoko woke up Onpu and Tooru. Then the next scene starts with the title "Three Weeks Later." So. You're telling me. Doremi and Momoko just missed out on witnessing the conception of ToOn's baby? Wtf was wrong with me????

There is a LOT more going on in this scene but I'll focus on just this excerpt. You ask the engaged couple when the last time they slept together was???? Insane behaviour. The "weird cravings" in question are pickles. And I'm sure we can agree that nausea doesn't really mean anything by itself.

But on top of that the next lines have Aiko joking to call 911. Girl this is Japan that is NOT their emergency number smh this fic is so unrealistic 😔

Ok I'll touch on these strange Tooru scenes shortly but I love how we include the last names of the FLATY5 even though they are not brought up in canon once. Last night I was reading the Light Novel chapter with the FLAT4 and there's literally a line where Doremi's like "wait I don't even know if the names they told us are their first names or their surnames. Who knows what their full names are?" But no, in the WAOF universe we have claimed Kounna Tooru.

"Wherever Tooru-kun's gone, that's where Leon-kun's at." Aiko hissed.

Idk why this is making me laugh lmao.

Right, onto the weird Tooru scenes. I was going through my old ffn messages with @pippelulu looking for something else entirely and did spot a few messages where we were like "hey the flat4 should totally realise Onpu's pregnant before anyone else" which is fine if there was like. reasoning behind it? We made Aiko a pixie in the last chapter, let the wizards have the power to read auras or something. But why does EVERYONE know except Onpu? Well actually, that's not true. Why do the Ojamajos, Tooru and Akatsuki know? This is so bizarre lol.

Why is Aiko shooting lasers out of her eyes now 😭.

I haven't even finished reading this scene of drunk Leon and Aiko and I'm already cringing with embarrassment. Yikes. But this is the time for me to question the story arc of those two in this chapter. Why was Aiko trying to kill Leon earlier and now she's willingly doing shots with him??

God God God God GODDDD I love you so much for the way you differentiate Go/jo and Getou's, like, view of other people (or maybe I'm talking more about their characterization - doesn't matter either way imo since this ain't an essay but I digress) – Getou, for all his struggles with and regarding telling people about his problems and opening up to people, almost exclusively refers to people by first name, is always more open and kind soft and sweet, and is 100% that therapist friend who'll always always always just feel so personal and close and stuff. But Go/jo? He's (almost) the Greatest of All Time, he's Six Eyes, he's Untouchable (literally in canon/source material, thanks a lot for making me cry over this beautiful man GEGE (meanie >:'( ), he's probably broken the same records Lewis has (i.e most wins, most podiums, etc), he doesn't even wear and drink the same things everyone else does, to the point where only three people actually know him as Satoru, AND HE ISN'T EVEN ONE OF THOSE THREE PEOPLE!!!! yeah, it defo would be, but its also different obviously bc gojo was kind of a bit shit in his first season, where hamilton was. insane. in terms of rookie seasons gojo isnt modelled after anyone really, but it would be closest to verstappen's RBR seasons with ricciardo (but if they hated each other, instead of being friends the way they are), and getou's rookie season is modelled on lewis', but the relationship with yuki is insp by leclerc/vettel 2019.

yaga's pretty influential! hes gojos race engineer for a while, then his team principal. he gave gojo the opportunity to leave sengoku and toji, which probably saved his career.

he was allowed to be annoyed, but it was all in a pretty joke-y way. i would say there were less team orders than in hamilton/bottas' time as teammates, since gojo is much further clear as a driver, lol.

yep. in 2003, they lose both of their drivers, and have to pay out for lawyers and suffer a big hit of reputation loss post Sukuna's death. it knocks them off the map for a while

I wanna first address how I see the Parent characters and their relationship with one another or atleast the ones I can still remember.

I will be adding more in the future but for now we talk about their highschool lives.

Let's set the stage, The main cast (excluding Enki, Terry, Derek and Rachel) live in a rural town somewhere in O'khasis and like I said since we will talk about their high school lives, this will take place in "O'khasis High".

Side note: since Jess hates putting MUCH NEEDED last names, I will do it myself, some are Canon, but most have been changed.

•Slyvanna Shalashaska

In highschool, I will be keeping the whole "yandere" thing but changing it to something less problematic going with something in the lines of "obsessive" and/or just flat out crazy.

(I will also be taking out the " yandere-chan emotionless" thing just because I don't like it and instead I will replace it with a "she likes the weird flustered feelings" or just simply that she just gets what she wants, either way it's just Slyvanna being crazy.. obsessive.)

Slyvanna is the school's popular but not popular girl, She's popular in the way that everybody in the school knows who she is but they don't hang out around her.

From Yandere Sim I will be keeping the whole "senpai" thing and ways of eliminating rivals, and by eliminating I do not mean killing them like in the game, but the other mechanics like: befriending, match making, bribing, changing other people's reputation and many more.

But other than her weird obsession.. Slyvanna is pretty normal for her age, like aphmau she's smart but fails in math. (why? I want to)

I also put Slyvanna in the debate club just because.. I think she's a good liar and she's just persuasive in general, she makes up good stories and makes people believe it.

(This comes handy for her when she starts changing people's reputations)

•Zackary Everton (Zack)

Suprise Suprise Zack is the "Senpai" of the school, there's actually no reason for Zach to be senpai.. I just.. added him because it's my story and I do what I want.

Anyways, unlike most MC love interests Zack actually has a personality! Omg so shocking!!

Zack is the popular guy and there's an actual reason for it, he's very attractive, Zack has got this dark Wavy brown hair, his gorgeous orange-yellow sunset eyes with long eyelashes and other than being literally so pretty, Zack is actually a pretty kind person during High school.

(I personally believe that Aphmau took her looks and most of her personality from Zack rather than Slyvanna.)

Zack is also a really smart guy, straight A student if you will.(being a doctor and witch craft wizard guy in the future)

He tutors for extra cash because college. I can ramble how much of a pretty nerd Zack is but that will be for another time.

Zack is also in the soccer and track team just because his mom put him in it to keep him fit but even though it was against his will he's still pretty good at it. (Also this is where Aph gets her Athletic genes from.)

Zach even tho being "Mr. Popular" of the school rather than partying, he's normally is just in his house or in another friends house, why? Zach just doesn't enjoy parties.

I don't really know how to describe it but Zach does things that only benefit him, but when he starts seeing how his actions affect others he starts going weak and starts questioning his decisions.

He's bad but he actually takes pity on the people he hurt but in the end as long as he gets what he wants, he slowly forgets about it.

•Eric FireFist

(Last name may most likely change)

Eric is the "wtf he goes here?" Student just because he doesn't show up the entire school year during freshman year and honestly it surprises people how he passed freshman year.

For the most part Eric isn't really a trouble maker he's either just late, doesn't wanna show up, lazy or he just doesn't like the class.

And then suddenly Eric starts going to class when he met Slyvanna, Eric doesn't obsessively crush on people like Slyvanna does but he does try to impress them with his little skills.

Eric actually started getting better grades to impress Slyvanna and made sure she saw how well he cooked during home economics.

Eric is mostly pretty chill, he's obliviously "Slyvanna's Partner in Crime" he doesn't know that Slyvanna is using him to get connections or even doing some of the dirty stuff for her but that doesn't matter to him since he gets to spend time with her.

Eric is actually in the newspaper club, hence why Slyvanna wanted to befriend him to get them juicy connections.

Most weekends you can find Eric helping around animal shelters and doing community service because his parents make him do it.

•Elizabeth Lavena

Ah yes, Elizabeth. Where do I begin with her?

She's just a she-devil character from the start, she creates most of the problems and fights that happen in the school and no one knows that she causes the said problems.

Elizabeth is the kind of person to act stupid and unaware of what's happening around her but is actually the one to be pulling the strings.

Elizabeth doesn't even do this for her own gain- well I mean sometimes she does it for money and power but most of the time she does it because she thinks it fun and hilarious.

Elizabeth was doing all of this undetected until Zack caught her but didn't report her.

Elizabeth was going to smoke behind the bleachers when Zack suddenly popped put of Irene knows where which also scared Elizabeth.

Zack simply tells Elizabeth to stop smoking and starts lecturing her and then Elizabeth starts being smug and says that he has nothing to use against her and Zack just pulls out a literal BINDER filled with Elizabeth's wrong doings with PROOF.

(Zack got all this from Slyvanna, to anybody who was wondering.)

Instead of Elizabeth being nervous that Zack literally has a binder that could send her to Juvenile Detention she instead finds what the hell Zack did attractive. She finds it attractive.

She finally found someone was worth her time and attention, not on the same intelligence level as hers, but the effort is there.

Elizabeth is mostly an average student, you can normally just find her smoking and planning her next "evil plan" in suspicious abandoned houses in the prohibited part of the town.

Elizabeth is in drama club because she's dramatic. I'm kidding it's because she actually has a passion for acting.

•Zianna Bridget

Best girl Zianna!

Zianna is actually a pretty consistent character, she's kind, sweet, caring, loving, good-natured and she doesn't have a single bad Muscle, bone, vein or cell in her body.

Zianna is actually the prettiest girl in the school with Maria just right behind her, she had a lot people asking her out on dates and parties.

Zianna's family is actually the model family in the town and for the correct reasons, Father is a good role model, the mother is kind-hearted, and Zianna is Zianna.

Zianna tho not blessed by academic smarts was blessed by street smarts, this girl knows how to get to places in such a short amount of time, she knows when something is off and immediately calls it out, knows how to wiggle herself out of awkward and difficult situations, and all that jazz.

Zianna = shopaholic. knows every vendor in the Town and she even gets personal 50% offs just because she's that well known by most of the vendors.

Garroth gets his Baseball Athletic-ness from Zianna. Why not Garte? Bcs Fuk Garte. Zianna is a CHAMP at baseball.

Zianna is normally the first candidate when the school has beauty pageant competitions and she comes back trophy in hand.

Zianna doesn't really have a club she joined at school but that's because she serves her time around helping animal shelters and if anyone needs volunteers she's usually in there to help and is normally helping in community service.

Zianna does infact have amazing baking skills even tho it didn't show that much in highschool her skills improved and got better around her time in college.

•Garte Ro'meave

I won't be dwelling much on Garte because I don't like him, and there really isn't much I can say about him.

Highschool Garte is just Highschool Garroth but wasn't a heartthrob because his personality was just bad, alot of girls asked him out because from a far he actually looks sweet but immediately broke up with him because of how much mistreatment they got from him.

(Things like: pointing out insecurities without a second thought, practically embarrassing them during the dates, hardly being polite on said date)

But anyways Garte is normally found training for the varsity team specifically baseball but compared to Zianna he sucks.

Garte is part of band he plays the tuba.. no reason.. he just does.

•Maria Everton

Maria is Zack's younger sister, even though they look nothing alike, they are infact full blooded brother and sister.

Maria has short dark blue Wavy hair (dyes it lighter when she gets older) and big bright teal eyes with, of course long thick lashes.

Maria won't appear alot during the stories, but i do have things I wanna tell about her.

Like I said Maria is one of the prettiest girls only second to Zianna so alot of boys have also asked her out on dates, which she sadly refused because Zack would absolutely go MAD when he finds out people want to woo her sister.

Maria gets along with Zianna quite well, Zack/Maria and Zianna's parents are long time friends so they grew up with eachother.

Maria also goes shopping with Zianna alot, she isn't a shopaholic like Zianna but you know, Zianna gives free food after shopping.

Maria IS BOMB at Arcade games Robotron? Done. Donkey kong? PLEASE street fighter II? EZZ.

Maria is also part of Drama club in the school, she doesn't really like it but she was pressured to take a club so she just kinda.. eenie Minnie miney moe-d the clubs and boom Drama.

And that concludes the main cast! Well atleast the main cast for the highschool part of the story, I will also make one for Rachel, Derek, Terry and Enki but since they don't go to O'khasis High I just didn't add them here, they'll have their own separate blog.
