But. That being said. There's one child whose word reigns supreme over everyone else's. The one lounged on Bruce's lap like an evil cat.

He can't be bought; Or flattered. Or impressed. Or be reasoned with.

Let's face it, the guy who masterfully bended an entire criminal network on a rebellious whim has little reason to value your word over his.

Harvey tried everything. A library cropped straight out of beauty and the beast. A fully paid college tuition for creative writing and English literature. Sending Tim to Mexico.

"Well," Harvey looks at Alfred while downing his 4th glass of whiskey. Jason had just BIT HIM after he tried petting Bruce's hair, " If I made YOU like me, this should be nothing, right?"

Alfred looks at him as if he's a particularly stupid puppy.

" You're breathing, aren't you?"

Jason was cursed. That was all he really knew.

Stalking through the shadows was second nature to him thankfully. He didn't know how the others would react if they saw him like this but he needed help to reverse whatever this was.

Maybe if he took out some criminals the other bats would realize he wasn't exactly what he seemed and prompt an investigation. Luckily for him there was an armored vehicle being robbed nearby.

He enjoyed the screams of terror let out by the two remaining robbers once they spotted him. Taking out the first few had been easy but now he needed to play with them until one of the other bats appeared. Jason was playfully dodged bullets, prompting one of the robbers to swear, "I was expecting sassy bats, not Tony the Tiger on steroids!"

"Forget the money man!" The other said as he rushed on top of a nearby dumpster "I don't wanna be eaten!"

Twack!

Dumpster guy went down with a thud as Red Robin landed nearby, bo staff at the ready. Great! Tim will probably notice the unconscious but very not dead people at Jason's feet...paws...and understand that Tigers don't just do that. Especially ones big enough to place a saddle on and ride like a horse.

Fortunately thats exactly what happened, unfortunately tim came to the assumption that Unnaturally large tiger + targeted attacks + enhanced intelligence = escaped animal experiment. It makes sense and Jason is mad he didn't think about it which lead to him having to run from Tim as his little brother tries to sedate him from a distance so he can take the giant tiger to the zoo.

A zoo! They were actually going to put him in a zoo! Jason whirled around, finding himself cornered by Tims gadgets and cunning, only for Tim to stop, appear confused and start looking for Jason even though he was right in front of him.

A tapping on his paw had him looking down.

There, next to the furry orange of his foot looked to be a liquid shadow with Lazarus green eyes. I can explain. The shadow said, but we need to get away from the bird first.

Once they were safe from the bats the shadow introduced himself as Phantom and revealed he had been cursed by the same person who cursed Jason and proposed they they worked together to remove thier curses and defeat the person who did this to them.

Jason had no objections and Phantoms powers were very useful, even if he was stuck as a liquid shadow. Jason's curse was difficult to break but they managed to get it halfway so where Jason could shift between man and beast like a werewolf, Phantoms wasn't so easy.

Phantoms curse actually removed parts of his spirit and embedded them into precious gems and jewelry across the globe. It sounded like a hassle but from what he gathered about Phanton was that he was a recently deceased teen and Jason wasn't about to just abandon him.

Tim went completely silent the whole night. So much so that you thought he got caught or even died.

they were in the same classes at med school and they sat together everywhere for like 3 weeks before they ever talked to each other, because bruce was an edgy bitch and harley was like 'you interrupt me while i'm studying you'll lose a finger'

when bruce adopted dick harley showed up at his doorstep completely unannounced with a t-shirt for dick that said 'my dad dropped out of med school and all i got was this stupid t-shirt'

even after she did a swandive into a pool of hot bleach she still tried to hang out with bruce, but kept getting arrested every time. so she settled for the next best thing: his furry alter ego batman

every single time she and the joker get up to some shit, she has a chat with batman, so she can annoy him by psychoanalysing him and calling him a furry, only when he starts psychoanalysing her it's really not fun anymore

when bruce took jason in she sends him a shirt that says 'ask me why my dad dropped out of medschool'

she and the joker are broken up by the time he kills jason and she ties him to the 56th floor of the wayne enterprises building in his underwear

when robin number three rolls around she hand delivers him a t-shirt that says 'inside every strong man is a tinier man that didn't finish med school'

after robbing the gotham zoo of their hyenas she names one bruce and the other ivy, while bruce is flattered, ivy doesn't talk to her for 3 weeks

robin four, also known as girl robin gets a shirt that says 'the reason my boss acts like that is because he didn't finish med school and wants to make it everyone's problem'

robin five doesn't want to accept her gift and tries to arrest her, so she shows up at their door the next day with her 'my father is a 6'0 Gothamite born in February who didn't finish med school' t-shirt. seeing as bruce wasn't home, that gets her arrested.

ivy breaks her out of arkham and harley vows to be her trophy wife. she lasts 3 days before breaking into bruce's house in the middle of the night to steal a cool painting.

bruce just looks at her while she's trying to escape like 'you could've just asked if you wanted that' and they get a drink together.

damian wakes up to find his dad and harley quinn black out drunk talking about that time bruce fell off a roof when they were in med school and let a first year student set his arm.

he wakes up tim and just goes "there is a- jester in our home,"

tim's like "oh you mean harley? yeah i'd been wondering when she'd come around" and just goes back to sleep

Canonical Things in my Batman Universe

The Lego Batman Movie, the Keaton Batman, and Clooney Batman movies all exist in this universe purely because Jason and Tim forged Bruce's signature on the documents to allow studios to use him as Batman's secret identity because they wanted to fuck with Bruce and they thought it would be hilarious.

The Justice League has a movie night dedicated to said movies and Bruce loathes it because they all dress up.

Bruce has gone on live TV and said the reason why him and Batman are never seen together is because Bruce is scared of Batman because, holy shit the dude dresses up like a giant ass bat and he is "very scared of bats after that traumatizing experience in the cave I fell down as a boy."

This also applies to Manbat.

Damian volunteers at Gotham Zoo even though he has tried to smuggle put many of the animals.

Damian will also completely ignore the fact that Harley Quinn is just laying in the middle of the hyena exhibit because animal lover solidarity.

The Official Fuck Freud Club would absolutely be a thing in my comic universe. Harley would be seen more like a wine aunt to the boys and she is seen multiple times to be helping out the Batfam if they need it.

Gotham does not celebrate April Fool's because of the Joker.

Joker claims April Fool's is his birthday and has a city wide celebration and that's why people do their best to stay home.

Two-Face has tried multiple times to represent himself in court when he is taken in again after being arrested by the bat. But due to him arguing with himself too many times he has resigned to hiring one of Penguins lawyers.

Joker once robbed a toy store and was absolutely in one of his homicidal moods but when a kid handed him an Uno reverse card instead of any valuables he might have had, Joker laughed so hard he nearly passed out and just gave the kid his bag of money and walked away. But he did throw a molotov cocktail just for some fun.

Gas mask accessories are a thing.

So are customized gas masks.

Bringing clayface to a pottery class is no longer allowed (looking at you Harley)

Riddler, after he actually gets some help and everything and decided he doesn't want to try being a private detective again, opens an escape room company. He loves it. Bruce and the kids are frequent players.

Gothamites have some of the weirdest humor and they have absolutely named every gargoyle in the city.

During a fight a gargoyle gets destroyed. "Y'all they killed our boy Biscuit. May he rest in pieces 🙏"

Bruce Wayne has paid rogues to leave him alone

Yes both Harley and Scarecrow know that Bruce is Batman but neither knows the other knows so they think they are alone in dealing with this rich boy riddled with issues who is too brave and stupid for his own good.

Bruce sometimes is just too fucking tired to be intimidating Mr. Batman and just goes full tired dad and somehow that makes the rogues feel worse.

Examples: "Edward Nashton. Sit down and shut the fuck up you will not rob the museum for the fourth time this month." (This was before his whole escape room and it should be noted the speed at which Riddler sat down hearing that.)

King Tut up to his usual brand of bullshit. (I combine the two versions, William Ohama McElroy and Victor Goodman) "I'm not mad William. Just disappointed."

Just one of Joker's goons "Matty you were doing so good. You were back in school. What happened?"

One time Bruce was being held hostage at one of Gotham's charity galas and he asked any of his kids available for some help discreetly. Long story short Batman came to save the day while Bruce managed to get himself free of his restraints, he felt a hand on his shoulder and immediately punched who it was. It was Batman (Dick). This furthered the belief that Bruce is scared of Batman.

You can't count the number of times he's whisked your younger brother off on some kind of adventure, littering your text conversation with photos of the two of them.

On your more fun dates (a trip to the zoo, a day at the park), he extends the invitation to your brother as well. He always asks you first, of course.

"(Y/N)!" You turn around to see your brother and your boyfriend bounding toward you as you waited for your ice cream. "Guess what Dick and I found!"

Your eyes dart up to Dick before he reaches you. The monkeys scream happily in the distance of the Gotham City Zoo. You noticed immediately that he's hiding something behind his back. He pulls out a giant stuffed baboon. "We thought it looked like you."

Jason Todd

Jason and your brother have some kind of silent bond. You suspect it's out of the mutual protectiveness over you, but you've never asked.

The main reason for this reasoning would be the events of that one time you, Jason, and your family sat down at a nice little restaurant for lunch. A man came in to rob the establishment, and you barely caught the eye contact Jason and your brother made from either side of you.

Jason seems fond of your brother. He was more than happy to keep an eye on him for you while you were out of town for a week or two. You later found out that he had dropped by regularly.

"Jason let me ride on his motorcycle while you were gone!" your brother tattles, Jason only a few desperate steps behind him. "We went out to get ice cream!"

Jason slides his hands in his pockets, avoiding your disapproving stare. "Firstly, I made him wear pads and a helmet." He gives your brother a heatless glare. "Secondly, your mom already yelled at me."

Tim Drake

In the later days of your friendship, early days of your relationship, you and Tim babysat your brother together. Your parents would ask you to watch him from time to time, so you'd call Tim over to help and hang out.

Because of that, Tim and your brother act more like friends than anything. He's come with you to visit Tim at the Manor several times, and accompanied you and Tim on an outing once or twice.

"Tim!" your brother shrieks, staring intently at the television screen in the Wayne Manor sitting room. You watch in amusement from the couch as Tim throws out a green shell from his cart, knocking your brother off course.

You lean to the side dramatically, controller in hand, and ram your shoulder into Tim's, causing him to loose control of his character. You cross the finish line first, letting out a scream of victory.

Damian Wayne

At first, your brother didn't like Damian. At all. He thought Damian was rude and arrogant, and blatantly asked you why you would pick such man several times.

Thankfully, the more Damian was around, he grew to understand that, yes, Damian was rude and cold to almost everyone, but not to you. Damian warmed up (as much as the great Damian Wayne is willing to warm up, anyway) to your brother as well.

Sometimes, after trips under his father's company or "unofficial Wayne business", he come to your family's home with souvenirs for both of you. It makes you smile every time your brother boasts his new possession to anyone willing to listen.

"This is from Africa," he states proudly, puffing out his chest to show off the string of beads around his neck. "Damian brought it back for me."

Your grandmother looks up at Damian in mild shock. Beside you on the couch, Damian cocks a shoulder, about as close to a shrug as you've ever seen on him.

Damian clenched his eyes shut in attempts at ridding the horrifying flashes of death. The deaths he brought upon innocents by walking down the path of an Al Ghul-Wayne and the deaths that still haunts him to this very day, be it because he landed the finishing blow or was too slow to save them. They come and go, taking the forms of nightmares and the shadows in the corner of rooms, merciless at ensuring that he never forgets his sins. 

Throat constricting, heart racing, Damian found it arduous to even breathe as he sank deeper into his nightmares. Were they nightmares when they were so vivid? He could count the strands of hair on his Grandfather’s beard, feel the sun beating down on his skin and the ridges of his katana. The muffled wails of Arabic was there: faint and muddled like he was underwater but definitely there. But it was not clear blue waters he was seeing through but crimson red, like the blood that splattered and spilled when he sliced through his enemy while the iron left a stench in the air. The familiar smell of iron that now choked him and robbed him of air which left him thinking only about the cold biting his skin.

The water shoved him out like he was being pulled by the sun: as fast as light and warmth grazing his shoulders. But it was still dark when his eyes flew open and yet he could feel the dread draining from his body when the warmth on his shoulders traversed down his arms. It was like fire spreading through the forest mimicking the smoldering heat in a fireplace - dangerous yet inviting. Nonetheless, a sigh of contentment replaced his shaky breaths and his eyes fluttered close as he attempted to pin this to memory.

Hands grasped his trembling ones while her thumbs drew shapes into his palms. Damian watched in fervor as she traced the lines on his palms, as light as a feather, tickling his skin and shooting spikes of happiness up his arm before dissipating throughout his body.

One of her hands wrapped around his wrist, gently unlike the clasp she would have on her sword, which had butterflies swarming his stomach. But Damian Al Ghul-Wayne do not get butterflies in his stomach; he had taken down men triple his size and armies as many as there were in all the Roman legions combined. No, Damian got a zoo of animals rampaging in his stomach when it came to her. And her treating him like a fine China doll had the hordes of animals stampeding in tandem with his heart beat. 

Her hands climbed up his neck and his jaw before caressing the skin on his cheeks. His breath hitched when the memory of her caressing his artwork the way she was doing now to him flew to the forefront of his brain and in a mind of their own, his hand held hers to stop her. Despite the darkness engulfing the two of them, he could still picture the slant of her eyebrows and the downturn at the corner of her lips. Turning his head so his lips were right above her knuckles, the sigh he released had the hand in his shuddering which had him smirking. 

Planting his lips on her knuckles, hand caressing her palm, his mind was finally at ease and only thoughts of her filled the void.

Segunda temporada de Billions con Damian Lewis

Luego de su impactante y exitoso debut como serie, “Billions” estrena su segunda temporada en las pantallas de Netflix. La serie protagonizada por los reconocidos actores Damian Lewis y Paul Giamatti, traerá más del mundo del poder y el dinero en esta nueva entrega.

“Billions” sigue la cruda batalla entre el fiscal general Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti), y el genio de los fondos de cobertura Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis). Ambos personajes se enfrentan uno contra el otro, con el objetivo de demostrar todos sus conocimientos en el mundo de las ideologías política y las finanzas.

Luego del sorprendente final de la primera temporada, cuando los personajes principales finalmente se vieron las caras, todo ha dado un giro. Axelrod ha sido desenmascarado y sabe que no podrá moverse libremente mientras Chuck siga como principal en la oficina del fiscal, por lo que se enfocará en eliminar a Chuck, mientras comienza de nuevo. Chuck por su lado, ha logrado que se haga justicia y disfruta del prestigio que supuestamente ha ganado, aunque sea a costa de su relación personal con Wendy. Todo ha cambiado, pero los personajes siguen luchando por el control en un mundo brutal y cambiante, cuya máxima es: evolución o extinción.

“Billions” fue creada por Brian Koppelman, Andrew Ross Sorkin y David Levien. El elenco de la serie está encabezado por Damian Lewis como Bobby “Axe” Axelrod, Paul Giamatti como Charles “Chuck” Rhoades Jr., Maggie Siff como Wendy Rhoades, Malin Åkerman como Lara Axelrod, Toby Leonard Moore como Bryan Connerty, David Costabile como Mike “Wags” Wagner, y Condola Rashād como Kate Sacker.

En esta nueva temporada, “Billions” contará con la participación de: Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds), James Wolk (Zoo, Mad Men), Rob Morrow, Kelly AuCoin, Christopher Denham, Dan Soder, Danny Strong, Glenn Fleshler y Eric Bogosian.
