Angeal: It's really weird with Angeal. You would think he would get overly testy and even stricter than ever. It's actually the opposite. Sleep-deprived Angeal is outright goofy. He's snarky and careless, sarcastic to a fault. At worst, he can be downright chaotic. As a result, it's extremely rare to see him in such a state--he makes an EFFORT to always get some quality rest. Which is a shame since Zack thinks this side of Angeal is hilarious.

Zack: Zack isn't really that grumpy. But he is way clumsier than usual. A walking disaster, really. He seems to break everything he touches, bumping into things, attracting all sorts of bad luck. It seems that a lack of good sleep brings about his inner jinx. The Seconds and Thirds have thus rallied around the idea of using Zack as a kind of lightning rod "mascot". Keep Zack well rested and the Bad Luck gods will be appeased.

Sephiroth: Sleep deprived is Sephiroth's default state of existence, though some days are worse than others. Sephiroth can have a nasty temper when he's especially exhausted, but is more likely to storm off to be alone rather than openly lashing out. At his very worst, Sephiroth seems to hit a switch inside where he dissociates from his surroundings altogether, completely mentally and emotionally checked out. It's a state of apathetic depression that Angeal and Genesis are well acquainted with. Honestly, it kind of scares them.

Genesis: Genesis is the worst. THE very worst. He needs his sleep and will get his required hours in even if he's late to his morning drills. And God help whoever has the balls to come and wake him up early. Genesis is a walking nuclear bomb, prone to unhinged rages, wailing, and the occasional fit of hysterical laughter (or tears). Angeal just rolls his eyes and says he's being over dramatic. Genesis throws himself down on the floor and insists that he's DYING but that's okay because he FUCKING HATES ALL OF YOU ANYWAY... and then crawls into Angeal and Sephiroth's laps because they both went back to reading the paper instead of cuddling him.

I'm glad I came off as respectful and left a positive impression on you! I do a lot of shit-posting about Dazai, but I do feel like I am at least fair to him when I am analyzing his actions? Other times, yeah, I'm just indulging in my desire to beat him bloody. Just, like, once. To get it out of my system XD. For science.

And the ship posts! Those were soooo fun to make. And oh, let me think about any other ships and my thoughts on them...

Fyolai (Fyodor / Nikolai) – Remember how I was like "there's just some things you don't write if you don't want people to ship two characters?" This is another case. This is the reason I disagree with people that go like "bsd is the only manga where no ships are necessary," like bro, there's so many things wrong with that sentence. It is absolutely necessary to make a bond such as these two's feel almost tangible to the viewers. It is essential to understand Nikolai's emotional dependance on Fyodor as a driving factor to his actions. Nikolai is orbiting around him, and you can see Fyodor having a genuine interest in this man, who doesn't play a big role in his grand plans. To me, these two feel kinda like Soukoku? Something something "the stars aligned so we could meet." 10/10 ship.

Ranpoe (Ranpo / Poe) – What God do I need to pray to in oder to get about 50 OVAs with these two?? Season 4 Ranpoe was the biggest treat and gift to me, personally. I love love love their dynamic so much. Like, yeah, Poe idolizes Ranpo, but he is now just as much in Ranpo's radar as well! Ranpo imprinted on him, he is Ranpo's emotional support rich boyfriend for fuck's sake. The way Ranpo uses his ability seamlessly?? Like it belongs to him?? Like he's so goddamn comfortable with it?? And what about the, "What would I do with myself if Ranpo-kun were to die..?” They're literally soulmates. They met and clicked so hard, they found each other, they suit each other, they complete each other. 10 million/10.

AtsuLucy (Atsushi / Lucy) – Firstly, I love Lucy, I think she's a great character, I love her design and personality and ability and everything. My baby. However, I have no particular attachment to this ship. It's not bad, and it's perfectly valid, but I don't see like- a need for it, you know? They understand each other, have stuff in common, and impacted each other's lives; I do love when two characters save each other left and right, so kudos for that. Honestly, they seem like they'd be absolutely amazing friends, really close, and honestly, I would love to see Atsushi have such a friendship, I think it would be good for him, but personally I don't see them in a romantic light. 9/10 ship due to the lack of feels I got from their interactions.

HiguGin (Higuchi / Gin) – I think that they're amazing and I would die for them. I need a spin-off of them. I need at least a whole WAN episode of them going on a date and shopping and eating ice cream and training and going to the beach– basically everything because they'd have the best relationship ever. I can just see them cuddling on a couch and watching TV as sskk fight over the last dumping in the kitchen. I need more about them like I need air. Also, petition for Beast Higuchi and Beast Gin to take over the Mafia. For reasons. 10/10 ship.

FukuMori (Fukuzawa / Mori) – Yeah, yeah, they're divorced Double Black and whatever, but let's be real for a second; no one can convince me that when Fukuchi first showed up, y'all's reaction was not, "Hold on a second Fukuzawa, what about your husband?!" The way Fukuchi behaved with Ranpo screamed new boyfriend trying to gain the son's approval, I was dying XD. "But Fukuchi knew Fukuzawa first!!" Yeah, yeah, I don't care– I'm not a zskk shipper until Fukuchi enters the screen. Let Fukuzawa and Mori be the yin and yang pillars of Yokohama. 9/10 ship because Mori is *sigh* a bad guy. Sad.

Odango (Oda / Ango) – They are married. No, I will not accept criticism. This is canon to me.

KuniBram (Kunikida / Bram) – My sister has decided they're also married and coparenting, so the conclusion is that they're married and coparenting.

I can't think of any ships right now, but do mention if there's one you like that I have missed!

(Honorary Mention: Dead Apple Trio) – So, we agree they fucked, right?? That wasn't subtext in the slightest, that was the greatest amount of subtle and yet ostentatious display of repressed homosexuality I've seen since SuperWhoLock hit this website. Dazai did not look that good to simply not be pushed against a table/wall. That's a disservice to him.

I had an idea, but am stuck on a Desmon/Deimos (Alexios) fic. I don't no which way to take it. Either way it starts a little after Kassandra first sees Deimos is alive, Desmond gets teleported back in time. Dropped right at Deimos' feet. He thinks Desmond is a "demigod" to and a gift from the gods. Spins it in his own head that Desmond could be the Aphrodite to his Ares. Every god has a consort after all.

Now here is where I'm torn. Would it be better to go with

A.) Desmond escapes him and as Demios is hunting him down at the same time Desmond runs into Kassandra. He tells her there is a maniac hunting him and Kassandra is just like "well that sucks I'm in the middle of something, but stick with me and I'll help you." unaware that it is her brother hunting him. They stick together, bond, and somewhere down the line Demios catches up to them.

B.) Stockholm syndrome Desmond who is just tired of everything and kinda just gives in. Cause Demios is certainly devoted, obsessively so, but is it such a surprise that Desmond just wants someone to love him.

C.) Not quite Stockholm syndrome Desmond where he sees what the cult has done to Demios and tries to help him through it because all he sees is a more dramatic version of the farm. Demios being a more suped up version of what they wanted him (desmond) to be.

Or D.) Dark Desmond who is equally as tired as B desmond but goes about it much more different. He has a rather powerful "demigod" in love with him who would raze cities in his name and lay any treasures he asks for at his feet. Demios could help him get more POEs and hell, maybe even kill an isu your two. How could he pass this up?

Those are some ideas but I'm not sure which is the more pleasing option.

Also, if by help you mean help you choose, I will be no help at all.

Instead, I’ll give you more ideas for each ideas you have XD

A) This could easily turn into a found family between Desmond and Kassandra, with the crew of the Adrestia as well. In this one, you can focus on Desmond joining Kassandra on her travels because he has nowhere else to go and Kassandra doesn’t mind picking up ‘strays’ as long as they work at the ship. Plus, Desmond was good at sailing, more than anyone else in the crew. He also has the strangest ideas for upgrades that works really really help so, truly, Kassandra wouldn’t mind saying that Desmond was a godsend. Of course, Deimos would see them close and become jealous. It doesn’t matter if Kassandra and Desmond don’t have any romantic feelings to one another, the fact that his Aphrodite chose his older sister instead of him just covers his wounds with salt and he’d become more obsessed with having Desmond. This could be the one where Deimos has a heel turn and a redemption arc or… a story of how obsession can burn everything around it.

B) This can be the smuttiest of the four with a heavy serving of a not healthy dom-sub relationship. Their relationship would be toxic for both of them and this is one where Desmond doesn’t really care about anything while Deimos tries to win his affection by doing what he does best… murder and chaos. This can turn darker than D honestly.

C) Okay so this is like B but Desmond keeps his sanity and tries to help Deimos to his redemption arc. This would work better as a slow burn with Desmond simply trying to help him, not realizing that he’s falling in love with him until it’s too late, he’s in too deep and fuck it he’ll follow Deimos to the depths of Tartarus just so he could drag him back up.

D) You can make this a Dark!Desmond setup where the pain of dying and being thrown into the past had changed Desmond in more ways than one. In this one, they could both be two people starving for love and affection that found one another. But instead of helping each other be better, they just make each other worse. A lot of “the world versus us” mentality with Desmond being the whisper in Deimos’ ears that would lead to him taking out the cult himself just to please Desmond. Desmond, on the other hand, does love Deimos, he truly does, but he also has a warped sense of justice by this point and would probably create his own Assassin Brotherhood. This one could have Deimos worshiping Desmond as a god turned mortal, more of the Persephone to his Hades than the Aphrodite to his Ares.

Haikyu Season 1 Finale

(I’m talking like episodes 20-25 because they’re all the finale to me)

My thoughts will be under the cut both for length and to avoid spoilers for anybody who, like me, is only just now getting into this AMAZING anime. (Tagging @banana-pancake5 because you wanted my thoughts on the finale :] it’s honestly all character focused but hey XD I am who I am, and who I am is character-oriented)

Okay, I’m not gonna structure this by episode or anything. I’m just gonna talk. Starting with…

Kageyama

HE’S GROWN UP SO MUCH SINCE THE BEGINNING!!! I’M SO PROUD OF HIM!!!! I love that he used his time on the bench to learn from Suga (I’ll circle back around to him in a while, don’t worry) instead of just getting more into his own head!! He fought so well and he’s really becoming such a team player! THAT ONE HANDED SET THOUGH!!!!!! WHAT!? I love that for the last hit of the match he set it to Hinata. I mean like, yeah, protagonist stuff and all, but if we just ignore that, it shows how much he trusts Hinata. It was do or die, and he placed full trust in Hinata to do. He trusted Hinata, the decoy, to do something that typically falls to the ace. Additional things I loved: Kageyama trying to smile, checking with people about sets, getting Tsuki to help him out with blocking, AND HIS ADORABLE FACE WHEN HE WAS PREPARING TO SERVE AFTER JUST GETTING BACK ON THE COURT!!!!

Hinata

Admittedly I don’t have much to say about Hinata’s growth right now because it’s been so steady. He’s doing such a good job as a decoy!!! I love the point where Asahi talked about doing his best as the ace and Hinata promised to be the best decoy he could be! AND KAGEYAMA TALKING ABOUT HOW HE NEARLY GOT TRICKED BY THE DECOY HIMSELF!!! Hinata realizing “when I’m upset Tanaka always says something” and then working himself up to say something to Tanaka was so good!! (Even if he didn’t actually get to say anything) I love that as Kageyama gets more and more stuck in his head Hinata just keeps bickering with him and bringing him back out :) Also just a moment of appreciation for Hinata getting the ball and then falling, like when he face-planted after saving the ball when it hit Tanaka, and when he only managed to brush the ball with his fingers during his spike and then landed really hard. And both times got right back up and kept going!! Hinata did great and I’m excited to see how he does next season! I’m also interested to see how he’s going to handle this loss, if he’s going to be able to brush it off or if it’s going to haunt him a bit.

Tanaka

I’M SO PROUD OF HIM!!! He didn’t let being blocked get in his head and he pushed through it AND SCORED!!! HE DID SUCH A GOOD JOB!!! I loved the coach talking about how Tanaka had the qualities of an ace. Knowing that the third years will be leaving after the spring tournament, and knowing Hinata isn’t ready for the role of ace yet, I think Tanaka would be a really good choice. He keeps himself and his teammates hyped, he works well with Nishinoya, he can spike hard enough to get through blocks, and he’s able to pull himself out of his own head! Also can we just appreciate Tanaka messing with his teammates during the match despite everything else going on? Goof. I love when Kageyama gets back on the court and Tanaka goes for a high-five XD Kageyama being oblivious, Tanaka doing nothing to explain himself, and Tanaka’s voice during that part (I watched the sub) had me dying laughing!

Yamaguchi

HE GOT TO USE HIS SERVE!!!! (and yeah it failed BUT HE GOT TO BE ON THE COURT!! HE GOT TO TRY!!!!) I was so so happy they let him try!! Also he picked himself up after the loss and continued learning his serve AND showed up at not-practice with a smile on his face!! And on top of that he’s been doing such a good job cheering his teammates on from the sidelines!! I felt so bad for him though when he was swapping out with Hinata and shaking like a leaf. But I’m glad he got to try :) I think that experience will be really good for him! I’M SO PROUD OF HIM!! HE DID HIS BEST!! He deserves a super big hug!

Nishinoya

I love that when Oikawa targeted him in order to try and break the team’s morale, Noya went “nah” and received the ball and ruined Oikawa’s plan. That’s my boy!!! ALSO THE FACT THAT IT WAS NOYA HE WENT AFTER TO BREAK THE MORALE!!! Like I get it probably had everything to do with Noya being the libero, BUT Noya’s role is more than that. He’s also their on-court hype man. (Tanaka does this some too and I’m glad that’s acknowledged in the show). He’s their safety net. He’s the one that pulls them all out of their heads and reminds them “hey, guys, don’t freak out. I’ve got your backs so just go for it!” If Noya had gotten stuck in his own head from Oikawa’s serve the team wouldn’t have lasted as long as they did. He’s so incredibly important despite being unable to score any points, and I’m glad that was recognized. WHAT WAS THAT SAVE!? HE CAUGHT IT WITH HIS FOOT!!!!! AAAHH!!!!!!!! And finally let’s just appreciate a couple things: - Noya yelling Hinata’s name and high-fiving him after Hinata’s barely-touching-the-ball hit scored! - Noya rubbing people’s heads (Tsuki, Kageyama, and Hinata) after they score! - Noya sticking his tongue out while waiting for the serve Oikawa directed at him - And finally, Noya doing handstands on people while celebrating! (I think he likes to be tall)

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Before I finish this up, I wanted to bring up a few other characters who I don’t have near as much to say about, but who still deserve recognition.

• Tsuki - Hey! I think we’re getting somewhere!! I’m looking forward to seeing how he starts fitting into the team better next season :)

• Daichi - Major respect, he tried his hardest to keep everything held together and he spent the majority of his time in the back with Noya, unable to spike for himself. That has to take a lot of trust in your teammates!

• Asahi - I appreciate his confidence and his promise to do his best as the ace! He got some good spikes in!

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST

Sugawara

Me, the instant Kageyama starts getting stuck in his head: *muttering* c’mon c’mon c’mon switch out switch out switch out! Let Suga play! Them: *switches out* Me: YES!!!! *Spends the next 24 minutes in awe of Suga and SO EXCITED HE’S PLAYING* EEEEE!!!! HE GOT GAME TIME!!!!!!! :D I WAS SO WORRIED HE WASN’T GOING TO GET TO PLAY!!! Oikawa is right to call him Mr. Refreshing. THE ATTITUDE SHIFT THE INSTANT SUGA SET FOOT ON THAT COURT!?!? Everything changed!!! Can we just appreciate Suga roughing up all his teammates (except for Noya, who gets an adorable high-five!) and then having the audacity to turn around and give us such an innocent “I can do no wrong” smile I LOVE HOW HE CHECKS IN WITH EVERYBODY!! And the fact that every time you turn around he’s talking to his teammates about different strategy things AND IT ALL WORKS!!! He is just so supportive and so sweet and every time we see him I love him more. Finding out he didn’t get to be a starter last year either and he STILL doesn’t begrudge Kageyama for being the setter despite the fact that it’s his third and final year is just…. AGH! AND NOT ONLY DOES HE NOT BEGRUDGE HIM, HE ACTIVELY TEACHES KAGEYAMA TO MAKE HIM AN EVEN BETTER SETTER!! Really quickly I just want to touch on his dynamic with Hinata. The fact that he got Hinata to slow down and think!? Hinata being so adorably excited about Suga’s compliments?? LEARNING THAT SUGA CAME UP WITH THE SIGNS FOR HINATA AND KAGEYAMA’S QUICKS!!? The last thing I want to talk about is just how crucial Suga is to the team, regardless of whether or not he’s on the court. He can read people so well and he uses it not to figure out what the opponent is doing and thinking, but to figure out what his teammates are thinking and need. He’s there to cheer them all on throughout all of it, and even once he’s on the court and playing himself he doesn’t stop. He keeps tabs on them all and is aware of where they’re at mentally AND he figures out strategies at the same time! He offers advice from the side of the court when he isn’t playing, and despite having so little game time he has a really good dynamic with all of his teammates! I don’t know if this was their intent or not (I’m thinking so because to me it just feels so obvious??) but Suga really comes across as being the heart of the team. He keeps them all connected to each other because he’s so in tune with all of them! (You can also argue that it’s the combination of Suga, Noya, and Tanaka that make up the heart of the team. They’re the ones who are keeping everybody else fired up and going and out of their heads and willing to fight. I look at it both ways :] Noya and Tanaka are essential to the job as well, but Suga is special because of how he reads people.)

That loss was hard. It hurt. But they can come back from it! I can’t wait to see how the Spring Tournament plays out!!! AND ALL OF OUR THIRD YEARS ARE COMING BACK!!!! EEEEEE!!!!!

Oh man, I’m so excited for the next season!!

I tried my own hand a while back at writing “the dsmp but taken seriously”; gave it a name and a playlist but didn’t really write much before I went back to my other projects. Right around when SAD-ist dropped her animatic, I simultaneously realized ‘oh wow, I Adore this concept’ and ‘oh wow, I Highly doubt the CCs are gonna manage to do this the way I’d want to see it’ and lo and behold: I was correct. So painfully correct. (There were also People Involved whom I had Really Bad Feelings About from very early on that, sure enough, turned out to be exactly what i thought they were, rip) So the Emduo prequels, Icarus heccin Dying, and the end of Axe of Peace have been around for Ages.

I’d honestly love to do more with this concept, (i am designing movie posters as we speak) but due to Chronic Illness Pog I’m in a rather unstable financial situation? And don’t have a ton of free time for art. Any big projects are gonna take a While, or id need to find a way to use it or something adjacent to fund, y’know, Rent. That being said, I’m definitely writing the emduo prequels, both as movie scripts and as novels, as those are the films focused on, yknow, My Bois. I also think it’d be hilarious to release the novels and then the scripts and watch people Loose Their Minds over the ‘inaccurate adaptation >>:(‘

I’d absolutely love to work with other people in the fandom on this stuff, though I’ve never been the best at directly co-writing (my writing method and style is painfully specific (ie needlessly poetic) and I’m very autistic: I don’t like it when people touch that Specific Thing) but literally anything else? Im open ears. I love collabs.

and finally, I adore your name for the series, (excellent word choice there /srs, it fits perfectly with the symbolism of the whole story) and I think it works really Really well for the actual DSMP, but if I’m entirely honest… I’m not sure it fits the TCU? Like genuinely I’m so grateful for the suggestion, I love when people offer ideas and bounce things around like that. But one of the main things I tried to do with this concept was work out how the story could actually end Well. A deep-seated belief in the good-but-fallen nature of man, the importance of hope, and the inevitability of redemption kinda comes part and parcel with the whole Being-A-Christian Thing (if it doesn’t, you’re missing the Whole Point Of The Bible) and while the actual DSMP may have ended in broken dreams… this doesn’t. That was my first thought when writing that outline: This Is Going To End Well. Not for wish-fulfillment reasons, not because I’m naive or I don’t like bad endings, but because fundamentally, everything sad is a lie, and if the story has ended in tragedy, it hasn’t ended yet.

If I had to pick a series name now, I’m not sure what I’d pick. A part of me balks at referencing anything popularized by Our Local Redacted, but ‘unfinished symphony’ wasn’t his in the first place, it was from Hamilton. “The Finished Symphony” has a cool ring to it? I dunno. If anyone else has ideas please feel free to toss them in here aight, I’m not settling on anything for a While.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I tired it ONCE. And you know what happened? The sex was interrupted by trauma and they characters had to top to talk about the whole thing.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? I LOVE crossovers. I don't have many, but I am plagued mentally by them. I have 3 posted (only one on Ao3). And I'm not sure which one's craisiest. But the 2 on FF are both Rise of the Guardians crossovers, one with Avengers and the other with LES MISÉRABLES. What was younger me smoking? I would really like to know.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I have a stupid amount of wips so I'll just go by posted ones. I have this story idea that I REALLY Like but I came up with it ages ago, and though i still like the idea I'm doubtful that I'll ever give it the time it deserves to go back to ):

16. What are your writing strengths? Aaaaaahhh. Trauma management? Like, they way people go about it and navigate it; how they talk about it with others? At least I THINK that's my strength. People keep complimenting those things XD

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I am too flowery with wording and I get sick of myself. It's out of control and I sometimes can't help it.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I love it. If I can't get help I'll just wing a google translate, or god forbid do some research on structure. I'm BAD at it, but I love it and use it frequently.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Inazuma Eleven (anime) hehe. Love of my youth, protect me.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written? I love this this Twilight one-shot I wrote some years ago. It made me suffer a lot (for reasons you can find in the author's notes) but the idea has always had a tight grip on me. I really like it (and hope to got I can get the sequel out one day).

AU? I honestly don't know at this point.

I was just scrolling through Youtube as usual, when I stumbled upon this (Original song here). It may not seem like much to others, but this has a special place in my heart. I used to watch this on repeat for so many hours XD

The point is, when I saw this in my recommendations, I immediately played it, giggling and kicking my legs as nostalgia washed over me. When suddenly (or rather unfortunately) I got an idea. Or two actually, when I pondered upon my silly little thought for a moment.

So, from the first until 00:24:-

"I am the jester, my job's to entertain. And it seems that soon enough it too will be my job to reign. Over all that you see, over all that you know. As the king is slowly dying, any moment he could go. Yes the king is slowly dying, any moment he will go."

I am imagining Dream and Nightmare. Dream being the king, and Nightmare as the jester.

Nightmare is standing in front of the tree of life, smiling as he took a bow while introducing himself. The camera spans across the tree and focuses on Dream, who was chatting and laughing with the villagers. The camera slowly pans across the crowd, finally returning to Nightmare who had a wide grin plastered across his face.

From 00:50 to 1:11 (or 1:37):-

"What good is a crown if the brow it sits on is that of a dead man? I'll wear my cap and painted smile with pride, my trusty baton in my hand. And you will see me, sire, I'll make my way back to you. You cannot stop me sire, your time is up, I see right through you!"

Dream is shown to be cheerily chatting with the villagers, though a quick glimpse can be seen of a tendril shot through his bleeding eye socket. The atmosphere returns to normal, with Nightmare smiling as the camera zooms in on his eerie smile, right before the black apple in his hand. Nightmare is then seen walking upto Dream as a black liquid slowly engulfs his figure, with multiple tendrils emerging from his back as he is both physically and mentally corrupted by the liquid. Dream stares at his once-loving brother in horror, backing away only to stumble upon a rock and fall on the grass. The atmosphere feels rather intimidating and threatening, as Nightmare inches closer to the fallen Guardian. His smile only grows wider as he crouches down in front of the scared Guardian. He chuckles as his tendril grows sharp, and in a split second cracks the now not-so positive Guardian's skull.

This is mostly a rough layout for the animatic in my head which I may or may not get to. Boy do I love writing. Also, this is the main style of writing that will be seen across my fics (if I ever write one that is). So, yeah. Been thinking about this for an hour now.

Reading SVSSS: Chapter 12

For those who don't know, I am reading SVSSS for the first time and sharing my thoughts!

Heading into chapter 12!

It's been an absolute day at work, but I got to do a lovely walk with a friend afterwards AND Charlie decided to grace us with his presence (very briefly for head pats).

Tea today is peppermint! Dinner break midway through this little chapter was congee and I was very pleased with it- photo further down lol.

Okay so thankfully nothing terribly tragic happened this chapter. It does feel like a big set up though so I am a little nervous about that.

AND. He still has all of this demon blood in him so he really is fucked. He may have escaped for the moment but I see all of the demons coming back for him.

so if I remember correctly, we’ve established that in this au, Tighnari dyes the green bits in his hair, buuuuuut I’m bored so more detail! Do you reckon he dyes it himself or does he get it done professionally? Does Cyno do it? How often does he get it done? Also I’d assume Cyno’s hair is bleached, so the same questions apply to him. I like to think they do their hair together as a fun hangout every month or two, but idk. I love dying my hair and doing fun stuff with it, so this kind of thing is just on my mind a lot lol.

This whole concept broke my brain a little, I think I've thought about it a little too much by now XD

Honestly I never thought too deeply about it - when I mentioned Tighnari's green streaks, I kind of on the spot decided they had to be dyed, since he's obviously just a regular human in this au with no fluffy green tail or fox ears. And I can definitely picture Tighnari naturally just having plain black hair!

...but the thought of Cyno with any other hair colour than white? Suddenly it doesn't feel like Cyno anymore! XD I know his hair colour is not realistically very natural, but my brain short-circuits thinking of it being dyed, and him actually having another natural hair colour.

To answer your question about Nari though, I personally imagine he'd get it done professionally! In this au so far he's been shown to be very on top of his hair care, and would probably worry too much about damaging his hair by doing it himself.

The thought of him having had other colours is certainly interesting... I can especially picture him with blue, maybe even dark purple? 👀

Gorou's I feel like is just natural streaks in his hair. Realistic, probably not (let me have this), but I just think it's such a cute thought that he has some natural light streaks in his hair. I feel like it's something that he might've been self conscious about at some point in his life and that makes me sad and I want to hug him.

Kazuha could go either way! It could be natural or it could (probably more realistically but who really cares) be dyed!

Aether for some reason I'm picturing was the kind who, as soon as he was old enough to have a say, went "NO SCISSORS NEAR MY HAIR" and refused to ever cut it. He was tiny the last time it was ever short.

Just my thoughts about Lantern Rite :]

Hear me out, Gaming's story was executed so well. I'm biased, so I really enjoyed how his story focused on the relationship with him and his dad, and I love how it ended on a warming note. The way he ran towards his dad after his performance and when it showed him hugging him- That was honestly the highlight of Lantern Rite for me.

Gaming's story just really spoke to me. I do not mean in any way that other characters are not well-written, but Gaming feels real? Also I think his VA did an awesome job. I just downright love Gaming's voice, and it really sold his story.

It's so endearing how close the adepti are. I feel like because they're often secluded in their abodes, it's easy to forget how fond they are of each other and how they're like family. The scene with Cloud Retainer, Moon Carver, and Mounain Shaper had me dying. She calls them old fossils, but we know she loves them haha.

And then there's the small things like how Zhongli was flying a ghost kite and the way Xiao always visits Pervases' temple.

Also, I can't believe I forgot how effortlessly funny Shenhe is. She's so blunt, but I love her so much for it XD Shenhe is honestly a breath of fresh air.

(This is just me going crazy over one single little voiceline, but Shenhe referencing Chongyun?? Kind of sad he wasn't in the event, but at least we got Shenhe content)

And here's just a silly screenshot because the quality on my phone makes for humorous dialogue. Yes, Gaming. I, too, am admiring the most definitely amazing expression I chose that is not at all blurry with absolutely clear vision XD

And of course, some Nadia and Vlad from this year and last year because I'll never stop thinking about them.
