LGBTQ+ Goyim: This and all months, show the world that you’re as inclusive as you say you are and include and protect queer Jews into our communities. Not “Only if they’re (X) Credential.” Unconditional.
Happy Pride,
One of many queer Jews.

I want to spam garlic bread in the ask box of every aspec person on this app . I'm not kidding, this is my project, it's important, you can reblog, start chains under this post, do what you want, but if you're aspec, write something in the comments or in the reblogs, so I will gift you some garlic bread. WRITE SOMETHING IN THE REBLOGS, ANYTHING, EVEN JUST "#garlic bread", otherwise I won't find you among all these notes
Let me know if you don't receive your garlic news in two days! I might miss some orders!
Edit: sorry, you're too many and I found out that I'm a human being with a life.
If you want to deliver garlic bread to those who reblog, feel free to do it (it would make me happy), but I'm RETIRED.
If you don't read this, it's not my problem, I will go back to my silly blog without garlic bread

i will always dislike the stereotype that cisgender men are just beings who only think / care about sex, so my cis men out there who are asexual or just genuinely don't think sex is that important, you are seen and will always be valid :D /gen

I don’t want to hear any stupid infighting this year.
Jaia Cruz, a trans woman of color, was sentenced to FIFTEEN YEARS for defending herself agaisnt a violent transmisogynist, and Johnathan Joss, an indigenous gay man, was recently murdered in a shooting. He protected his husband in his final moments, despite all of this being preventable had the police did anything about the constant homophobic threats and harassment they received from their neighbors.
To no one’s surprise, conservative media (specifically NY Post) is already publishing articles covering up significant details about each of these cases. One such example involved painting Jaia as “pure evil” when she was being verbally abused and physically attacked until she stabbed him in self-defense. Another claimed Johnathan and his husband “got into a dispute” with Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez (the shooter) when the shooting was an entirely premeditated hate crime based on Tristan’s account.
Lest we forget that only a couple of months ago, the torture and murder of Sam Nordquist, a black trans man, was discovered.
We’re not even a WEEK into Pride Month. Stay vigilant of your surroundings. Keep your community close. We need to prioritize protecting ourselves and our own, especially when queer people of color are among our most vulnerable.
If we don’t got us, who does?

It's kinda funny that I discovered my gender identity/preferred pronouns kinda by accident.
So a while ago, when trying to figure out my identity, I stumbled upon the term demigirl and decided I identified with it and figured I'd go by she/they. Because I figured I still identified as partially a girl and I liked using she/her, but wanted to try they/them as well.
I then switched schools and made some new friends. A lot of them were queer, so when I met the first one, he asked if I was okay with lgbtq+. I said yeah and brought up the whole I'm gay and technically nonbinary.
He then asked my pronouns. I forgot what exactly he and I said. But somehow, it ended up with him thinking my pronouns were only they/them. I panicked for some reason and didn't correct him. Because I'm socially anxious and awkward and I just met him. So I just went, "screw it, guess were going with they/them. I like those pronouns anyway."
And being called by only they/them and nongendered terms made me realize that I didn't actually identify with being a woman or she/her at all. It was less I identify with it and more I was used to it.
So yeah, me panicking and not correcting someone is how I discovered my identity. Well, at least the basis of my identity, lol.

It's the end of Dead Boy Detectives letter week- Pride Edition!
Let's celebrate our community by reminding @streamonmax, @netflix, and @primevideo how important LGBTQ+ representation is and how much this show means to all of us.
As someone who grew up in a small town in the 90s, I think of how impactful watching this show would have been to me at a time where it was normalized to portray queer characters as either villains or never having a happy ending.
I'm so happy that queer youth are able to see themselves portrayed in a positive light. For all ages seeing yourself in media is healing, affirming and life changing. So shout out to this amazing queer ghost show for being what we need to see in the world 💖

Master list of all the "our __ experience" lgbtq+ blogs
These are all the active and inclusive/friendly queer blogs I could find. If I listed any that are exclusionist or otherwise bad or are just inactive, please let me know so I can remove them. This list is intended to help queer people find active and inviting communities to participate in and feel safe in. If you know more feel free to add them in the reblogs and/or tell me them so I can add them. Please spread this around, I worked very hard on compiling this list, and this may help people find the community for them here on Tumblr.

Today is Spirit Day, a national day of action to stand with LGBTQ+ youth against bullying. 💜🌈 One way we can fight for our LGBTQ+ community is to VOTE on the issues impacting us most.
Last year, more than 500 state bills were introduced to target LGBTQ+ rights, and 75 became law. The people WE elect have a direct impact on our community.
So make a plan to vote today at WeAll.Vote/voterhub — and let’s vote LOUD and PROUD this year! 🗳️

I really need a day with my queer neurodivergent plural friends to sit on grass drink some beer and chat about our weird system quirks. Maybe kiss and cuddle them along the way. Idk

Aside from the compulsion to claim historical trans men as women for feminist history, I've also noticed attempts to neutralize trans men into non binary figures.
Of course, language surrounding non binary identities in the western world is relatively new, so someone from the 1800s might have had some long winded way of saying they were non binary.
But take the case of Megillus from Lucien's writings in Ancient Greece, who will say "I am entirely a man" and still have people being like, oh they're just a confused little girl product of restricted language. There is no way they really mean it when they say explicitly they are 100% a man. Obvious example of non-binary identity.
Obviously non binary people deserve to see themselves in history, but like...c'mon...
Just something I've noticed in my research into trans men of the past

Transandrophobes and exorsexists, on the cusp of just blatantly declaring they believe in "female privilege"-- COUGH-- sorry, I meant "AFAB privilege": Masculinity is not societally punished! So if you become masculine, you will be celebrated!
Butches, from the dawn of gender norms:
