When I was pregnant I got gestational diabetes, and the first thing they do is get you an appointment with a dietician who can talk to you about managing it, because you need to keep your sugars stable for the safety of the baby, and that means having the same low amount of carbs at all meals, eating regularly, etc. The dietician I spoke to straight up said 'You cannot keto your way through this, and if you try, you will have a higher likelihood of developing type 2 diabetes down the line.'
fatphobia and ableism is so insidious. You can look up like, food, and it'll say "eating a lot of food causes diabetes" and you're like oh dang what? I thought we didn't know the cause of diabetes. So you look up what causes diabetes and it says "we still don't know what causes diabetes" bruh they're just making shit up to give people eating disorders

Inside My $300 Morning Routine (And What’s Actually Worth It)
by Soleau Club / www.soleauclub.com
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Every “that girl” wellness morning starts the same: lemon water, tongue scraping, face ice, matcha, affirmations, and a full-on skincare production that would make a Sephora employee weep. But let’s be honest... some of it’s ✨extra✨, some of it’s essential, and some of it is just straight-up placebo in fancy packaging.
So here’s the real tea: I have a $300 morning routine. But I don’t do every single step every single day, and I’m not here to pretend you need to drop rent money to glow. I’ll spill what I actually use, what I’ll repurchase, and what can stay in the “influencer hype” archives.
1. Tongue Scraper – $8 (Yes, Worth It)
A non-negotiable. Feels grossly satisfying, takes 10 seconds, and helps with breath, skin, and digestion. If you’re not scraping... babe. Start.
2. Chlorophyll Drops – $20 (Meh)
They’re cute. They turn your water green. But did they change my life? Not really. I still use them sometimes for the aesthetic, but plain lemon water does the same de-bloat trick for free.
3. Matcha Kit – $40 (Absolutely Yes)
My matcha isn’t just a drink—it’s a ritual. I use ceremonial grade matcha, a bamboo whisk, and a cute little frother. Not only does it give me energy without the crash, but it makes me feel like a serene goddess before I check my phone and immediately regret it.
4. Red Light Face Mask – $180 (Investment, But Wow)
Pricey, yes. But game-changing. I use this 3–4 times a week while journaling or stretching, and it legit helped my breakouts, fine lines, and morning puffiness. It’s giving “rich mom with a private facialist” energy.
5. Dry Brush – $15 (Underrated Icon)
Stimulates lymphatic flow, exfoliates, and wakes up my whole body. I dry brush before showering and it’s like a five-minute confidence boost. The kind of thing that feels small but makes a huge difference.
6. Protein Collagen Smoothie – $25 (Yes, with a Caveat)
I mix collagen powder, almond milk, chia seeds, and frozen berries for a smoothie that tastes bougie and fills me up. Do I need $60 collagen? No. But when my nails stop breaking and my skin’s glowing, I can’t lie—it feels worth it.
7. Journaling + Affirmations – Free (But Priceless)
Not every part of my routine has a price tag. I journal, write three things I’m grateful for, and say my affirmations while doing skincare. It grounds me. Reminds me why I’m doing any of this in the first place. Instant nervous system reset.
8. Face Ice Roller – $25 (Cold, Cheap, Effective)
De-puffs, sculpts, and makes me look alive even after a late-night wine situation. I keep it in the fridge next to my almond milk. Easy, effective, and gives “just got a facial” energy.
9. Skin Serum Stack – $100+ (Good, Not Essential)
Do I need three serums? No. Will I keep using them? Probably. My skin likes the combo of niacinamide + vitamin C + hyaluronic acid, but if I had to pick one? Vitamin C wins for that morning glow.
So... is a $300 morning routine necessary? No.
But is it fun? Empowering? Luxurious in a way that sets the tone for your whole day? Absolutely.
The real secret is figuring out what actually makes you feel good—and cutting the rest. Some days I do the full lineup. Some days it’s lemon water and a walk. Either way, I still show up as her.

Taste is the most important factor in nutrition.
Because you get the most nutrients from the foods you'll actually eat.
So add cheese, oil, spices, vinegar, sauces, etc. Try them roasted or sauteed or pureed, etc.
The actual secret to eating lots of fruits and veggies and other nutrient dense foods is:
Make them taste good. That's literally it.

art falling in love with his nutritionist!reader?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
TW: heavy implications of ed, pathetic art...
he hated. HATED. his last nutritionist. tashi hired her, and having tashi and a nutritionist on his ear telling him what to eat and what not to eat was enough to make him want to eat nothing at all.
he might've developed an ed...he doesn't pay much attention to it tho. all he knows is that since his retirement and divorce he hasnt been eating...like at all. he feels guilty whenever he does so much as think about fast food, but when he tries to eat healthy food he gets the urge to throw up. so he does the mature thing and gets a nutritionist.
he's scared, in lack of better words. he doesn't want to repeat the same cycle he had with his old nutritionist. you were coming to his house, and god was he nervous. yet when you arrived, he couldn't deny how pretty you were. hair in a blowout, hands neatly clasped infront of you. and your smile was oh so sweet and eased his heart. "hi!" you stuck your hand out, and his much bigger hand shook your smaller one.
"hey," he smiled back and stepped back so you could come in. he offers you a seat on his counter, and he leans against it. his biceps flexing subconsciously as he smiles awkwardly. with you sensing his nervousness you start questioning him about his eating habits, past and present. he's open, about his old nutritionist, possible ed and all of his struggles. he feels like he's in a therapy session with how you listen to him attentively.
"so you have trouble eating?" you ask softly and he nods. "yeah, i just cant find myself actually digesting it. specially if i want to keep a good physique." you hum, nodding as you look up at him. he swears he could get lost in your eyes.
"well you know you can add a few sweets and oils every now and then, right?" you say slowly, almost if talking to a child. he stays quiet, he has been told to not eat eats and/or oils at all. "c'mon." you take out a chocolate bar and he internally cringes at the sight. "we each get a bite, 'kay?" you take a small bite. humming at the flavor. "okay your turn," you pass the chocolate to him, looking at him expectantly.
he gulps, frowning. "i really cant." you smile softly at his words. "there's no rush, but you really wont process if you dont start. a few meals wont ruin you."
it takes minutes to try convince art to bite into the chocolate.
an hour later and he's crying into your chest. whining about not being enough and feeling so lost. or atleast that's what you think he's saying, his cries are too much for u to understand completely what he's saying. he clings to you, burying his face into your breasts. your hand rubs his neck up and down as you try to calm him down. "there there...its okay, we'll take it one step at a time, okay?" he nods, fingers curling around your hips.
he doesn't quite remember what happened after that, he just remembers begging you to not leave him and inevitably sleeping in your arms. and when he wakes up, he is greeted by greasy eggs, orange juice and a side of greens.
oh, you're definitely better than his last nutritionist.

‘Eat the rich!’
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Babe, why you saying shit as if being rich were a terrible thing? Everybody wants to be rich and comfortable. Even you want to be rich and comfortable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You’ll never be rich and comfortable if you nourish that kind of a miser mentality. One day, if the Universe ever grants you rich and comfort, what new mentality are you likely to develop?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A crook mentality. Obviously. And you’ll always be afraid of getting robbed and mobbed. Because you had exactly this type of mindset about the rich prior to becoming ‘one of ‘em’ tsk tsk…
Command your Reality with clear definition. So if you must eat at all…
‘Eat the corrupt!’
Remember to 'detox' by eating nutritious foods from nature as well~ lmao
