Truly I hate to do this to you all but; you can watch all the videos and read all the blogs in the world but you cannot learn to sew without at some point picking up a piece of fabric and fucking it up. Laptops are nearly indespensible in modern education, which treats it as a given that all students have one.

Have you ever needed to do schoolwork with only a phone? If not, I can tell you from experience that it's inefficient and really fucking sucks!

Reema's an evacuated Palestinian studying pharmacy in Egypt, and this is what she's been going through for an entire month because she lost her laptop in Gaza.

If you cannot fathom the horror of surviving a genocide, then try relating to this: She's currently trying to study for multiple chemistry midterms on a phone. One of them is medicinal chemistry, which is considered even harder than organic chemistry (which I've heard is notoriously bad).

This is happening while her sister was very recently hospitalized and her family had to pay it off with funds from their budget. She's worried about her sister's condition, her family members still in Palestine, her uncertain financial state, and much more.

We can ease her stress a little by getting her a laptop to study with, and I'd like to get this done by Oct 20.
