Four Little Princes, Chapter 6: Going Home

It took almost two weeks for little Yuya to get all better, and Zarc had no intention of traveling with a sick toddler. Traveling might make Yuya’s cold get worse, and Zarc didn’t want that. So he and his entourage stayed in the mansion for two weeks while the tiny toddler recovered from his cold. The mansion was nice and warm and cozy, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Plus there was a nursery in the mansion that was perfect for Yuto, Yuri, and Yugo to play in while Yuya was resting. Zarc knew that the ex-earl Hashi hadn’t had any kids, but he’d still bought lots of kids’ toys since he’d wanted an heir.

When he wasn’t taking care of Yuya or playing with Yuto, Yuri, and Yugo, Zarc was busy making arrangements for the Hashi Estate to be converted into an orphanage. The mansion was quite nice, having been built up over approximately thirty generations, and the staff was all more than happy about the idea of taking care of orphans instead of rich snotty nobles. There were even already some servants that were trained to take care of children! They hadn’t had any child work to do in years since Hashi didn’t have any kids yet, so the ex-earl had ordered them work as maids until he did have children. But now they were looking forward to working in the orphanage!

It was a simple matter converting the estate into an orphanage. Zarc wrote up a few legal documents, signed and stamped them, and within a week it was a licensed orphanage! All that was left to do was redecorate the grossly excessive amount of studies, sitting rooms, parlors, and other unnecessary rooms and turn them into bedrooms for the orphans that would be living there.

The estate staff all worked together to help re-decorate the mansion, and by the time Yuya was fully recovered from his cold, all of the rooms that were going to be bedrooms for the orphans were completely empty. It would take a few weeks for all the new beds and dressers and other furniture to arrive, so Zarc had a few of his own servants (who had come with him on his trip) stay behind and monitor the situation, with instructions to return to the royal castle once the orphanage was fully operational and running.

Once the arrangements had been made, it was time for Zarc and his family to return home to the royal castle. It had been nearly a year since Zarc had been home, as he had been traveling around the kingdom to visit his subjects and see first-hand what was going on in his kingdom. He was very glad that he had done so too. Now he had four little princes to raise! In all honesty, the king had been planning on adopting an heir once he got home. Now he had four!

Yuto, Yuri, Yugo, and Yuya were very excited to get back into the royal carriage, all dressed up in their brand new warm little winter coats and mittens and boots so that they didn’t get sick. Luckily none of Yuya’s brothers had caught his cold. The four boys sat down looking very adorable by the windows, playing with the toys that the Hashi Estate staff had let them take from the nursery and munching on the cookies and cakes and fruits that the chefs had given them.

“Are you boys excited?” Clear Wing asked, sitting Yugo on his lap as he fed the little one some grapes. The four little toddlers nodded excitedly.

“Whewe go?” Yuto asked, looking up at Dark Rebellion. Dark Rebellion gently ruffled the tiny eggplant’s hair and smiled. “We’re going home!”

“Home?” Yuri looked confused. “We haf home?” Starve Venom picked him up and cuddled him. “Yes, you’re going to be living with us in the royal castle now! That’s your new home!”

Yuya was chewing on a teddy bear’s ear. “What dat?”

“It’s a big fancy house for kings and queens and little princes and princesses!” Odd-Eyes said, patting Yuya’s head. “And you boys are princes now!”

“Why?” Yugo asked through a mouthful of grape. Zarc chuckled. “Because I adopted you. I’m your new daddy. You’re my little sons now! And I’m the king, so that makes you princes!”

The four boys didn’t seem to understand everything that Zarc said, but they did seem to understand that Zarc was their father now. They all got very excited and crawled over to the king for snuggles. Zarc smiled and cuddled them all close. He loved his little sons!

His heart-print necktie is a gift from you on your first dating monthsary. It was a sort of endearing joke on your part and you didn't actually expect him to wear it, but he loved it so much he makes sure to wear it at least twice a work week.

It's a token of your affection for me, and I shall wear it proudly.", "You have a reputation to uphold!", "Well they should mind their own business, and if they are brave enough to mock me, then they should be equally brave to face the punishment that comes from crossing a person such as I."

You marry after a year of dating. He was actually preparing a grand proposal the following year, so he was so confused and shocked when you surprised him with a bouquet of flowers as you bent on your knees at GaoGaoland.

On the wedding day, his best man was his younger brother Silver, the ring bearer their cousin Sebek, the flower "girl" your cat Grim, and the officiator his adoptive father Lilia.

After marriage, you still find out things about him that surprise you in an endearing way. For one, he does not know how to drive; his brother or cousin escorted him to work everyday. Now that you're married though, that responsibility fell upon you and you gladly drop him off.

He makes sure to shamelessly hug and kiss you in front of his employees before letting you go.

He's surprisingly good at maintaining a work-life balance: he goes to work at 9am and asks you to close up shop to fetch him at exactly 6pm everyday. He cooks dinner with you as a form of bonding.

He doesn't work on weekends and makes sure to plan dates with you during those days; whether you prefer to go shopping at the department store, fly to another country on a whim, or just snuggle with some movies at home doesn't matter to him. He just likes spending time with you.

He's strict and a terrifyingly effective boss at work, yet he's a sweet (if not a bit clingy) husband at home. Others always get a whiplash seeing these complete opposite sides of him, but when asked which one is the real him, he just laughs and says both are genuinely him.

Clock Town! Yuu who used to be picked on for not having any magic by the delinquent gangs only to find themselves in a party with one of the worst of the worst torn between being hurt Deuce doesn't remember making fun of them or impressed with how determined he is to turn his life around vs Deuce who absolutely remembers but has no idea how to appropriately apologize so he just makes it his mission to bring you home from every mission unscathed, even if it's at the cost of his own health. He swears he'll say it eventually, he just needs to find a way to not make an ass of himself by saying something stupid like he loves you.

Farm Kid! Yuu who gets recruited by Ace for his party because he literally can't get anyone other than you and Deuce and ends up being the glue that holds it together. Ace is dumbfounded as he watches you successfully recruit Jack, Epel, Ortho, and even Sebek without much trouble and hates himself for ever thinking about abandoning you as soon as he got better party members. Yuu who knows that's what he wanted to do from the start and resigns themselves to him leaving when Riddle makes his offer only for Ace to stay with Ramshackle Party because he's "too busy looking after them" to be a card soldier, hiding the burns on his hands from when he punched the Arch Mage for insulting you. He can surpass Riddle's party on his own any day.

The Princess and the General

Summary: When Silver meets the princess from his father's old bedtime stories, except she is not a princess but his past lover.

Note: set in the same universe as the Leona royal au fic, fluff, slight angst, mentioned pregnancy, aged-up characters, Yuu/Reader is a fae, former General Lilia, and oc child. I saw the General Lilia card and it inspired this fic :)

"Father, can you tell me a bedtime story?"

A male with long black hair and red streaks scooted closer to his son's bed, careful not to wake the green-haired boy sleeping next to him. His red eyes met big auroral ones. 

The man chuckled at his son's cuteness and nodded. "Alright." He adjusted the boy so he could lay his head on the man's chest. "What kind of story do you want?"

"The one with the princess."

The man's eyes widened in shock, but he quickly cleared his throat. "You always ask for that one. It has a sad moment too."

The boy smiled. His innocent eyes sparkled. "I like the ending."

The man sighed and nodded. "Alright. Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. She was so beautiful that it felt like the world around her would stop to stare at her when she passed by. She was very kind and loving. Everyone in the village loved her." The man felt a lump in his throat, but Silver's innocent eyes continued staring at him. "One day, she met an injured and cold-hearted knight. So, being the kind princess she was, nursed him back to health. The princess eventually grew close to the knight that she fell in love with him."

The boy began to feel sleep overcome him, and he closed his eyes, unaware of the man's voice, beginning to choke. Despite this, he continued the story and concealed his aching heart for his son's sake.

"But the knight did not feel the same way. He was cruel and only cared about returning back to the war. So he left once he felt better, leaving the princess heartbroken without saying goodbye. The princess thought all was lost until one day, while wandering around the woods around her castle, she discovered a small baby with golden hair. She felt sorry for the baby, so she adopted him and named him Aurum. The princess gave the baby all the love and attention he deserved." Lilia almost choked on his words, but he continued on. "She raised him as her own, loved him, and nurtured him until he became a king. And they both lived happily ever after." 

Silver stared at the faceless crowd in thought. It has been years since his father stopped telling him bedtime stories, yet the one with the princess stood out to him. His father never described her in detail, but Silver often wondered if he would ever meet a woman like her. He often had dreams of a beautiful woman who looked to be around his father's age. Still, he has yet to meet someone whose beauty can make the world stop.

"We need food, clothes, water, and new swords. Are we missing anything else…" The green-haired boy looked up at his friend (more like a brother), but his friend's eyes stared off at the crowded marketplace. "SILVER!"

Silver broke out of his train of thought and turned to his friend. "Did you need something, Sebek?"

Sebek groaned in annoyance. "You were staring off into space again. You must stop doing that so we can return to the Young Master."

Silver sighed and closed his bag. "Father can care for him just fine, but we can head back. Let me make sure I have my magical pen, and we can go."

Once they had everything, the two walked through the Briar Valley markets and back to the castle. The walk was short, yet Silver was too occupied with his thoughts. He had a feeling that something would happen today, but he did not know if it was good or bad. 

As Silver was about to exit the bustling market, a woman walked past him. Her features passed for a brief second, but Silver felt it. Sebek, who was in front of him, slowed down. The voices around him sounded like unintelligible noises. It felt like the world suddenly slowed down, and it all happened when the woman passed. 

Silver immediately turned around in search of her. His eyes caught sight of her swaying hair and pointed ears. She looked young, possibly around his father's age. Silver's feet acted before he could think. 

"Wait! Miss, wait!"

Sebek turned around only to find his friend not there. "Silver?" Sebek's eyes landed on Silver running away. "SILVER! GET BACK HERE!"

The woman turned around to the noise to see a silver-haired boy heading her way, followed by a green-haired boy screaming at him. Her eyes stared at the familiar uniform. It was an updated one from the one she knew, but it still had the same colors as Briar Valley. Suddenly, the silver-haired one started pointing at her. 

"Miss! I need to talk to you!"

The woman immediately ran off in hopes of losing them. Meanwhile, Sebek had finally caught up to Silver. 

"Silver! Why are you chasing that woman?"

"Remember those stories Father would tell us? Specifically, the one with the princess? That's her!"

Sebek looked at Silver like he was crazy. "How would you know that? We could be chasing an innocent woman?"

"She had similar features to the princess, and the world slowed down when I saw her. Trust me, Sebke. It's her."

Sebek looked at Silver with a conflicted look. They should return to the castle, but what were the odds that it was the same woman. Even Sebek had moments where he wanted to meet her. 

The woman moved fast, using her fae abilities to her advantage. What felt like hours was actually minutes of running, and she was heading toward a large crowd. It would be a matter of time before she lost them. 

"We need to do something!" Silver yelled to Sebek. The green-haired boy had a determined look.  

"I have no choice but to do this." Sebek took a deep breath. "DO YOU KNOW LILIA VANROUGE?" The woman and everyone else stopped moving and turned to them. She stood there stunned, giving Silver and Sebek enough time to catch up to her. Even up close, her beauty was maximized by ten. 

The woman's eyes widened briefly before going to a neutral expression. "Was he looking for me?" she replied, causing Sebek to groan. 

"You didn't answer my question!"

Silver sighed before looking at the woman. "I apologize for my friend, Miss. It is a long story, but Lilia often talks about you."

The woman's eyebrows furrowed in suspicion. "You're lying. He would never talk about me like that."

Silver turned to Sebek and noticed the big crowd watching them like it was a drama his father liked. The two nodded after a few moments of silence. 

"I think it's best to discuss this over tea. How about we go back to the castle?"

The woman glanced around her, a hint of reluctance on her face, before nodding.

The three sat in Malleus' study with Sebek preparing the tea. The woman stared at the room in awe.

"The King must have traveled a lot," she whispered as she stared at the many pennant flags decorating the walls. 

"They were gifts from Master Lilia to the Young Master, Yuu. The Young Master treasures them." Sebek proudly said as he set down her teacup.

Yuu thanked him and drank from her cup. She set it down and looked at Silver. "So let me make sure I understand this. You are Lilia's adopted son, and you-" her gaze turned to Sebek, "-are Baul's grandson. Lilia would tell you two stories where I was a princess, and you think it's me? How would you know?"

"He always talked about how beautiful you were and how it would look like time would slow down when you walk by." Silver explained, causing Yuu to blush. 

"I think he was exaggerating." 

"No!" Silver exclaimed, "It felt like the world stopped moving when we passed you in the market earlier."

Yuu's mouth opened in shock, "I see…What else did he say in that story?"

"He mentioned how you met a cruel knight, fell in love with him, and he left you heartbroken. The story ends with you adopting a child."

Yuu chuckled and leaned back, her eyes gazing at the ceiling painting. "Did you know that's how I met your father? It was a long time ago, he was a general, and I was naive. I thought he would reciprocate my feelings, but I was lying to myself the whole time. That story sounds like the life I wanted when I met him."

Sebek awkwardly drank his own tea and remained quiet. He had heard stories from his grandfather about how the mischievous Lilia they knew now was very different from years ago. Meanwhile, Silver slammed his hands on the table.

"Father may have been like that before, but he is not now! Also, I was too young to understand then, but he would always stumble and tear up when he told me the story. He may not say it, but I know he regrets what he did."

Yuu smiled sadly. "Thank you for that, Silver; those are the words I wished I heard years ago."

"Then you should stay so you can see him!"

Yuu shook her head. "I don't know if I should. I should be heading out soon before it gets dark. I'm visiting the Scalding Sands and hear it is lovely this time of year." Yuu brushed off imaginary dust off her clothes and started standing up. 

Silver and Sebek stood up like they had a burst of energy. They jumped toward Yuu and pushed her back down. 

"NO!"

"WAIT!"

Yuu became slightly annoyed. "What are you two going on about?"

"What is going on here?" A deep voice asked as he entered the study. Everyone froze, and their eyes turned to the newcomer. 

"Lilia?" Yuu said as she stared at him. He looked handsome, but she still saw small remnants of the cold man she met before. Her eyes were wide, just like Lilia's, and her heart tensed up from seeing him. 

"Yuu?" Lilia whispered with fondness that startled Yuu. She still looked as beautiful as he remembered, and he felt an invisible pull towards her like an enchanted spindle. Neither of them moved and stared in silence until Silver cleared his throat.

"Father, I'm sure that you remember Yuu. If you would excuse Sebek and me, we must help Malleus." He quickly said as he grabbed Sebek's arm and dragged him out. 

"Right! We must see the Young Master to help him!" The two boys immediately closed the door, leaving Yuu and Lilia alone. What Malleus needed help with? They may never know. 

Yuu cleared her throat. "You know it's been a while since I've seen you, Lilia. You definitely changed." She made no move to leave the room, causing Lilia to give in to the invisible pull. 

Lilia chuckled and sat down next to Yuu. "Don't I still look youthful?" He grinned mischievously.

“Don’t push it. I’m surprised you haven’t broken your back yet.” Yuu smirked, causing Lilia to gasp. 

"My youthful appearance has made it through the years! Besides, who else was supposed to watch over Malleus during his youth?"

Yuu laughed at the thought. She felt her heart relax as they quickly made conversation like they were old friends seeing each other. "I guess it makes sense. I heard the King was quite the handful as a kid."

"Yes, but he grew out of it...most of it. He had a wonderful young caretaker to watch over him." 

Yuu rolled her eyes and smiled. "Don't push it now. You may have cut your hair and dyed it pink instead of red, but there is more than that. You look happier and not like you're ready to murder someone. You even have a son. A human son, for the matter. The Lilia I knew before would never want to be near one, much less adopt one."

Lilia smiled proudly, his eyes briefly glancing at the door Silver had just left from with fondness. "Well, things happened, and I met Silver. He is my pride and joy, after all. I taught him everything and he has been a fantastic retainer for Malleus."

"I can tell. You raised him well. Did you know that he was the one who found me in the market? He even told me you tell him stories about me as a princess. I could not believe it myself." Yuu chuckled, but Lilia remained silent. 

"Lilia?"

Lilia looked at Yuu with a serious expression. The atmosphere felt slightly tense as Yuu knew it was time to address the elephant in the room. Suddenly, Lilia got down on both knees in front of Yuu and held her hands. He gently caressed her fingers with his thumbs. 

"You know, I tried to find you after the war ended. My mind was so focused on it that I did not realize what I did to you until it was over. I even returned to your house to beg for forgiveness, but you were gone." He looked up at Yuu. "Did you leave because of me?"

Yuu slowly nodded and looked down at Lilia's hands. "That was part of the reason. That house may have brought me painful memories, but I always wanted to explore the world. Your leaving gave me an excuse to do it. Despite that, I learned so much about myself from it."

"I'm happy for you, Yuu. I tried to look out for you years after, and then I met Malleus and Silver. You can see what happened next…" Lilia trailed off before continuing. "Yuu, I am so sorry for the damage I've done. If I could travel back in time, then I would. I would be the fae that you deserved back then. I was slow to realize it, but I love you and always have."

Yuu felt tears form in her eyes. "Lilia…" The former stoic man rested his forehead on her knees and began to cry. 

"So please, if you could give me a chance, I will stay by your side for as long as you want. If not, then I understand. I will respect your wishes." 

Yuu sighed, causing Lilia to look up and for their eyes to meet. "I still have plans to travel, but I have an idea. I will think about it, and when I come back, if you are still waiting for me, we can talk again and go from there." 

Lilia nodded with hope in his eyes. He moved to sit on one knee, grabbed Yuu's left hand, and kissed her knuckles. When Lilia's lips touched her skin, Yuu felt a spark flow through her body. It was a familiar feeling, and she had missed it. 

"I, former general Lilia Vanrouge, swear to wait for you, Yuu, for as long as you need until you tell me to go or death do us part."

Yuu interlocked their fingers together as a sign of comfort between them. 

"I, Yuu, promise to give you, Lilia Vanrouge, my answer when I return." Her eyes shifted to meet Lilia's red ones. "Maybe I will let you propose to me properly."

Lilia smiled with all the love he had for her. "Take all the time that you need."

With those words, both knew the future would be bright.

Later

Silver, Sebek, Malleus, and Yuu sat together, silently eating dinner until Silver addressed the other elephant in the room. 

"So, Yuu, can you cook?" 

Yuu's eyes lit up in excitement. "Yes, I can! I picked up a few things during my travels, so say the word, and I'll make it." Yuu smiled, causing Silver, Sebek, and Malleus to tear up. The three ran to her and pulled her in a big group hug while crying tears of joy. 

"Thank you!" They cried in relief. Meanwhile, Lilia watched them from afar with a smile. 

"What a lovely family."

"Mommy, can you read me another bedtime story?"

Yuu laughed as she tucked her daughter under the blankets. "Another one, Aurie? I already told you many."

"Please! My little brother wants to hear one too!" Aurie pleaded. Her big red eyes shined with forming tears, and she put on her best pout. Yuu sighed, giving in to her daughter's cuteness. 

"Okay. One more, and that's it. I don't want you to fall asleep when your father and brother return tomorrow. You know that they will be excited to see you."

Aurie smiled proudly and nodded, her hair swishing up and down. "I promise, Mommy."

Yuu smiled and ruffled Aurie's silky hair. "Now, what story do you want?"

"Can you tell me the story of the beautiful princess who fell in love with the handsome knight? I like that one."

"Alright, young lady." Yuu sat beside her daughter and let Aurie rest beside her as best as possible with her 30-week baby bump. "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. One day, while out in the village, she met a knight who was in love with her from afar for years…."

👧🏻 🚸 At first, the situation didn't look too bad. Yes, all of you woke up in the wilderness, and you have no idea, how you get here, or how to return home, but, none of you were injured, and hilichurls looked surprisingly friendly and didn't try to attack you.

However, the emotions in the group weren't even slightly positive.

You were hugging crying Sakura and Shinji. The girl buried her face in your chest, and the boy was clinging to your side. 

Katsumi, Kousuke and Yuu were trying to keep themselves together, trying to act as big boys. But you can see tears in their eyes. Soon, they joined the group hug.

Aya was silent. She was a little bit tougher, then Oda's kids. You will be tough, if your adopted father is Vampire Count Bram Stoker. 

But she also was hugging you. Because now, she was a child. Not a Defender of Justice.

You were whispering reassuring words, promising, that all of you will be safe.

You want to believe that.

When you were more or less calmed down, your small group start moving to the nearest city.

Aya, Katsumi, Kousuke and Yuu were walking before you. You were holding Shinji's and Sakura's hands. You were making sure, that no one will get lost.

As the oldest in this group, you must take care of them.

 And, it seems, that your companions got the same feelings as you.

 You felt glares on you. Mondstadt was quiet. Waiting for something.

 The silence were overwhelming.

Yuu's voice could be mistaken for screams in this silence.

 And the first of many "Imposter! Dirty Sinner!" came.

 Klee managed to hide you all away and get you to the Dragonspine. Right now, you, Oda's kids and Aya were resting in Albedo's lab.

While Klee tried to cheered kids even for a bit, you were talking with Albedo.

🚸👧🏻 The situation were terrible. You and kids are now wanted criminals, you can't trust anyone from Teyvat. Your only chance to get home - meet with Alice. The bad news is that she is forced to travel from nation to nation, not staying on one place for too long. There would be a big chance, that you would miss her.

And you must protect six kids.

You stayed with Albedo for a week. You discussed everything you need to know.

You decide to travel to Sumeru. If Albedo wasn't mistaken, Nahida would help you. Maybe, Irmensul have answers and knowledge on how to get you all home. At least, you could hide you, until Alice arrived.

Albedo gave you clothes, backpacks, supplies, blankets and much more. Everything you need during your journeys. It won't be enough for the whole journey. But, at least for the next few days, you won't worry about food and water.

And he showed you something. Something, that took all members of Hexenzirkel to use their powers to get and stay safe. Something, they stole from "Creator". What was left of a previous person, who looked slightly similar to "Creator".

"I don't want to scare you, [Y/N]. I just want you to see, what would happen, if one day they caught you. Or you decide to go to them on your own free will." Albedo looked sad. He can't go with you. He must protect Sucrose and Klee.

This prompts to wonder, if Yuu already had a partner and child, would that mean that Leona would be willing to get rid of them in your nonhuman AU to make Yuu available again?

Depends, if we are going with Yandere Leona then yes to killing the partner but no to killing the kid. He's probably gonna be a distant stepdad since he doesn't like or want kids, but the kid is a part of you, and he loves you and doesn't want to hurt you. But then again, the kid might grow on him, like those dads who didn't want a pet cat/dog, but they end up being best friends.

Plus, the kid can be used to keep you from wanting to leave him. The little guy is probably going to be used to keep his nephew distracted so he finally leaves him the hell alone. But hey, now Cheka has a cousin his age to be best friends with and your child will have anything they could want. (and Leona's brother will such the fuck up about "when are you going to have kids?")

It's actually canon that Scar from The Lion King had an adopted kid and a bio one, I think.

None Yandere Leona won't kill but will try to pull a Mr. Steal Yo Girl and show you what a better life he can provide you and your child. Aside from the killing thing everything else will be the same as above....well unless the partner was abusive to you and/or your kid.

So you know how it's known across the fandom that Yuu's love for Grim (and favouritism) is stronger than any potential romantic love and one of my favourite tropes is having Grim getting in the way of the boys' courting because of Yuu's motherly instincts for the little baby.

Imagine that but Miss Yuu and the villainous sidekicks in the House of Mouse!AU because of course her Disney Princess-ness is so strong that she not only has her own animal sidekick but also the animal sidekicks of the villains. Like, the overblot gang try to visit her at her job in the club only to find her already occupied.

Riddle comes in to find her having a pleasant tea party with the King of Hearts and the White Rabbit and feels too shy to say anything

Leona is visibly ticked to find his pillow herbivore in a hyena cuddle pile, with Yuu giving them all head pats (especially when Shenzi, Banzai and Ed give him smug looks when Yuu's not watching)

Azul can do nothing but stare when he finds Yuu's attention is slowly focused on giving Flotsam and Jetsam head scritches as they purr all self-satisfied like the little sea cats they are

Jamil is completely irked to see Iago hogging all of Yuu's time by letting her pet his feathers as he brags about himself

Both Vil and Malleus have come on separate occasions to find either Queen Grimhilde's crow or Diablo preening at Yuu's attention

The one time Idia leaves his room and comes to the club with Ortho so that he can play a new mobile game with Yuu, only to find her sitting in the corner with Pain and Panic all snuggled up on either side of her (and Grim on her lap, of course), as the three of them watch Kimi No Na Wa on the imps' tablet.

I just find find it neat how the sidekicks (both heroic and villainous) have all basically claimed Yuu as theirs as well. I've always loved the whole found family aspect of when a character is dating or gets gets adopted by a powerful character, all of the underlings instantly welcome them, shower them with love and are probably even more protective of them than the other main character (it happens quite a lot in manga, manhwa and in a lot of fanfics I read)

This is adorable, but also the image of Pain and Panic basically being iPad babies makes so much sense.

Hades brought Cerberus once, and Miss Yuu giving him a treat was all it took for him to be a good puppy. There is always a bird, good or evil, perched on her shoulder. Lucifer likes to curl up at her feet when she sits down somewhere. Yuu is basically and unofficial Disney princess now, so that means all the animals love her. But Grim will always be her baby.

What's Yuu's role in the brothel as Crewel's child? Does she help keep the books? Are they being groomed to take over? Are they biologically Crewel's or still adopted in this? Regardless of that last questions answer, what's the story behind their adoption/conception?

Crewel is Yuu's bio father in this AU (Its unspoken in universe on if he birthed Yuu or not. He did).

Growing up, Yuu basically just shadowed their dad in his daily going ons. Got to see him entertaining customers with conversations and booze (Was put to bed when he had to actually sleep with his clients). As of now, Yuu basically handles whatever Crewel isn't able to get to paperwork wise. They also are the one who handles any kind of internal issues among the workers. Crewel has made it a rule that no one is allowed to book Yuu for a session until he says they're allowed.

Yuu's birth is kinda clouded in mystery since no one really knows who Yuu's dad is. The workers have plenty of ideas who they think is the father but Crewel will dock their pay if he catches them gossiping about it.

So if you look at it this way, the Silver Bullet is in the neutral zone where all the leaders can meet up and converse about important topics in a peaceful way. The main reason it is so peaceful is because Yuu is just being Yuu. They also make great drinks and food so that's a plus.

Yuu is basically the tranquilizer to calm the gangs down when things get too heated. It's something I've seen in many of the Silver Bullet AU interpretations, and it's something I think a lot of people can agree that Yuu attracts a crowd and is easy to talk to. Once Yuu agreed to let the bar be the meeting place for the gangs, Yuu like it or not became a part of the operations. They know many secrets so of course the twst boys want to keep an eye on them and in return for Yuu staying quiet they offer protection even if Yuu doesn't realize it.

So yes in a way they see Yuu as theirs, their bartender, and their confidante. But they still know Yuu is their own person and they wish to get as close as possible to uncover the secrets the bartender holds. So having someone beat them to the punch gives them a mix of emotions.

Yuu's friend should still be in one piece when they see Yuu again, however many of the twst boys would have tried to get information out of them and or threatened them about being close to Yuu. If they can get someone who knows you under their thumb it could bring them clues to who Yuu actually is.

Four Little Princes, Chapter 5: Sick Baby

Zarc woke up late that night to the sound of little Yuya coughing next to him. The poor baby coughed for nearly five minutes before his coughing fit finally ended. Zarc gently picked his little one up and cuddled him.

“Sounds like you need more medicine,” the king murmured. “Odd-Eyes, could you tell the servants to fetch the royal doctor, please?”

Odd-Eyes, who had been awakened by Yuya’s coughing alongside the other dragons and Zarc, nodded and got up from the bed. As the dragon went out into the hall, Zarc hummed a little lullaby to soothe Yuya. The king hoped to Ra that none of Yuya’s brothers caught his cold. He didn’t want any of his new kids to suffer, and he really hoped that Yuya would recover from his cold as soon as physically possible. The poor little one didn’t deserve to be sick like this! None of them did! Fortunately Yuto, Yuri, and Yugo hadn’t been awakened by Yuya’s coughing. They were all sleeping soundly snuggled into Dark Rebellion, Starve Venom, and Clear Wing.

The royal doctor arrived within minutes, bringing Yuya’s medicine with him. He had been checking in on the toddler throughout the night, monitoring his condition. After all, Yuya was a prince now, and it was the royal doctor’s duty to take care of the royal family’s illnesses.

Yuya, like most little kids, did not seem to like taking medicine. The first couple of times he’d taken it without fuss, but it seemed he’d figured out that when the royal doctor offered him a spoon, it would taste awful. The little prince refused to open his mouth when the royal doctor tried to give him his medicine this time, and even tried to hit the spoon. “No! No! Yucky! Yucky! Go ‘way!”

“Yuya, you have to take your medicine so you can get better,” Odd-Eyes said gently. Yuya hid his face in the dragon’s chest. “No!”

“Please, Yuya?” Odd-Eyes pleaded. But Yuya continued to refuse. He began chewing on Odd-Eyes’s pajama shirt.

Zarc reached out and gently took Yuya, sitting him in his lap. Then, without warning, he began tickling the tiny toddler. Yuya squealed and laughed, his little mouth opening just long enough for the royal doctor to dump a spoonful of medicine into it. Yuya’s eyes widened in horror at the sudden nasty taste in his mouth, and tried to spit it out, but it was too far back in his mouth to spit out. He had no choice but to swallow it, before looking up at Zarc with a look of utter betrayal. Then he started to cry.

“Shh, it’s ok Yuya!” Zarc said, cuddling the tiny toddler. “You’re ok! You’re going to be all better soon, and then you won’t have to take that nasty medicine anymore!”

Yuya sniffled. “Pwomise?” he asked, looking up at Zarc with big, teary eyes. The king melted at his expression. “I promise!”

Yuya calmed down and snuggled into Zarc’s chest. The king kissed his forehead and hummed a little lullaby to him. Slowly, the little tomato fell back asleep.
