Mandalorians! This scene from the original Star Wars Marvel Comic Series was part of a story arc that has a very special place in my childhood memories, as the German “Krieg der Sterne” album series stopped its run mid arc and left us with a cliffhanger (The infamous “Chidho in carbonite” scene). Memories are fuzzy but I think it was only a couple of months away from ROTJ’s release and so the comics became a little less interesting anyway. The story would eventually be picked up later by a rebranded comic album line now named “Star Wars” [sic!] with a lower print run but by that time Star Wars started to fade into obscurity already and I never saw any of these comics at that time and only learned about their existence a couple of ears ago. Back then I had a sense that the comic series was not “canonical” without even knowing what that exactly means but with the lack of multimedia and little access to anything Star Wars, these comics and the action figures were all we had when there was currently no movie to watch in the theater.
Anyhow, this is also the moment after almost a decade, where I finally unpacked these comic packs with Fenn Shysa and Tobbi Dala, to side them with the recent comic colored Boba Fett, and boy what an improvement today’s figures are over the ones from the time of this comic pack. When I bought them a decade ago I thought they were still kind of cool but now they feel just weird and are extremely challenging to pose, let alone have them hold their weapons in a meaningful way. The Boba Fett figure on the other hand is great to pose, which is particularly supported by the improved range of the elbow joints. Lots of figures unpacked today, many figures still left to be unpacked. Stay tuned

"How did Shuro think he could marry Falin when he hated her brother?" you have to understand. Toshiro is from a whole different country. In his head he and Falin would move back to the Eastern Archipelago and they'd see Laios twice a year tops. You can pretend to get along with in-laws you don't like for a few days a year, people do that all the time.
The actual flaw in his plan– which shows he doesn't really understand either of the Touden siblings– is the fact that if the plot hadn't happened and Falin had for some reason said yes to his proposal, Laios would have packed his bags and moved away with them instantly.

nicotine addicted Jim Gordon, yes, but imagine him ripping a bright pink vape at a crime scene instead of cigarettes and blowing the most obnoxious, cotton candy-flavored cloud into the air while he’s working the case.
Batman: “What do we know about the victim?”
Jim Gordon, hitting his vape so hard everyone within ten feet feels their eyes water: “…cause of death was asphyxiation.”
Batman: “you don’t say.”

Need a the Waynes Lived AU where Martha’s a vampire. She snuck in a Wayne Gala for a potential late night snack, but Thomas thought she was a socialite.
“So, what do you do?”
“I drain people of their life sources.”
“Oh, you’re a CEO too?”
She can’t drink Thomas’ blood because he smokes too much, the baggy eyes indicate long nights spent on his feet during surgery, which means it’ll taste bitter, and she saw him drown 10 whiskey shots in one go.
It’s a taste thing, nothing against him.
He is, how ever, very handsome, and she decided she’ll be his house cat for the time being. Fast forward two years later and they have a vampire cherub of a baby named Bruce.
Babies usually don’t come out with fangs and tiny bat wings, so, yeah. His wife’s a vampire. Cool.
“How come I’ve never seen your wife outside during the daytime, Tom??”
“How come I’ve never seen you mind your own fucking business?”

Are we just not gonna talk about this?
Because I can't help but notice that that's not just a deer, it's a deer follower. Does this imply that some animal people choose(?) To behave like wild animals while others act human? CAN they choose? Are some of them just feral for some reason? Is it like a human monkey kind of situation where it's not weird to them? So many questions

HC that the Batkids post patrol will always steal their siblings' food or snacks, even if Alfred has prepared a three course meal should any of them decide to be normal. Jason’s always irritated when Steph or Duke break into his place demanding snacks or stealing bits of the one person meal he's made for food. Cass and Tim often end up stealing each other's granola bars and energy drinks, leading to frequent disputes about who is supposed to restock them.
Damian, never to be outdone, drives the hours to Blüdhaven to steal Dick’s food (Dick will make spicy snacks for him).
