Danny is haunting the watchtower. No regrets. He was just so fed up with the lack of action.
Seriously they had a whole bs site claiming they were pro meta and basic rights. Like it had links on where to “report” breaches. All utter bs.
Nothing about the anti ecto acts. He personally called in and reported it many times. And nothing happened. As the king. He had a duty to his ppl. Now he didn’t want to hurt anyone or declare war.
But he will absolutely in the middle of their meeting change the screens of the computer to the site to report breaches. Mayhaps add bloody green text seemingly dripping in all cap LIARS and maybe YOU IgNORED US.
Was it a tad much to leave a stabbed article about the anti ecto acts in the middle of the meeting room ozzing ectoplasm. Or maybe the whispering in the ears of anyone who slept here.
He certainly didn’t think so.
So now the screens occasionally flickered the failed experiments of the GIW. Sure no one’s been killed yet. But the justice league didn’t know that. Danny is great at breaking them out.

Note
I have this idea for a post but I feel like you would do it justice.
Basically, Danny is yeeted through a dimensional portal and reincarnated as the clone son of Tim and Connor(from when Tim cloned Connor during his death). This little shit wakes up after that, when Connor has already been found, as a six year old gremlin with a need for chaos.
Que pranks!
I don’t have much more than that so I will leave this in your capable hands.
-🎃
"Master Bruce, if I have to remind you to fix your tie one more time, Gotham will be without its protecter for many months to come!" Alfred snapped - actually snapped - from where he was attempting to reorganize the entirey of the Emberald Sitting room.
Right now, he moved all the furniture and all the wall directions. He was just adding some tastefully done flower pots to make the place look inviting but also regal.
It had been six hours, and from the looks of it, Alfred had not found the balance he desperately wanted. He started over four times. His patience was all but gone.
Bruce's hands snap to his tie, scrambling to get it set just right. He moves it only slightly to the left - not making much difference - with a nervous smile. Alfred's teeth snap shut with a click, and his eyes blaze with frustrated rage as he rounds the coffee table toward the billionaire.
Bruce looks to be holding back a scream.
Dick winces, sinking into his chair lest the aged Butler turns his ire onto him. He knows why this evening has to be just right. Especially to Alfred, but gosh, he could not handle how terrifying the butler could be.
It's just for one dinner and one evening. Dick tells himself. Once Alfred can finally say he married one of us off, things will return to normal.
"Honestly! If you didn't walk around looking like an unkeept vagabond all the time, maybe there would be a Lady of the House by now!" Alfred sneered at a pale-looking Bruce.
Or maybe Timmy bringing Kon over to announce their engagement means Alfred will try to marry the rest of us off harder. Dick despairs as Bruce endures another tongue-lashing. He wants to go help, but if he moves even an inch from his seat, Alfred might realize Dick is still in the room.
He can't afford to anger the beast any further.
"And you, Master Dick!" Alfred suddenly rounds on Dick, pointing one long finger into his face, with narrowed eyes and the grim reaper at his shoulder. Oh, dear.
Thankfully, that's when the doorbell rings. At once, Alfred's face clears into an excited smile. "They're here! I'll let them in right away; you lads, gather the rest of the family. And remember, we must make a great impression! Tonight is the night we invite Mister Kon into the family!"
The butler doesn't quite skip out of the room, but the bristle walking with a chipper head turning is the close that Dick has ever seen him do.
"I'm so happy for Tim." Bruce mutters,"but I can not handle any more reminders that I haven't had a spouse."
"Tell me about it," Dick sighs, following after his father into the hallway and down to the dining hall. He can distantly hear Alfred opening the door and greeting the two. "A hour ago, he made seven passive agressive reminders that Tamaraneans propse with a dinner and a mock battle. Seven. I mean, how does he even know what Tamaraneans do when courting?"
"It's Alfred." Bruce tells him, taking a seat at the head of the table. Dick sits in the chair to his right as the oldest and First Heir- considering the reply. It makes sense.
Damian, Cass, and Duke walk in, not even a moment later. All are dressed better than any gala Bruce could have dragged them off, too. He is rather impressed that Damian is a red suit that makes even Bruce pale in comparison. Then again, he is the only one besides Alfred who has an eye for such things.
"Has he already proposed, or is he doing it at dinner table and were all supposed to act supirse?" Duke asks while sitting down. "I want to know what kind of face I should have prepared"
"The clone has asked Father for his blessing in his courtship with Timothy. He knew we would have figured out his plans when that blunder. It is no surprise." Damian huffs. Dick knows he's just upset that his big brother is going to get married and move out soon. He's adorable when he's territorial.
"I can confirm that Kon hasn't asked yet." Steph announces, strutting into the room in all her purple gown glory. Behind her, the Row sbilings wander in with matching celtic blue suits, making Dick grin. It's always nice to see people appreciate the best color. "Tim isn't the type of person to not show off his ring whenever he has a chance."
"I've always wanted to see a real-life popersoal!" Jarro gasps, flying into the room with his own little suit on. It's a nice black with green undertones just like Bruce's.
He lands in the miniature chair with a dinner dining set Alfred had special ordered for him.
It sits on top of where a regular dining set usually is, always the second chair on Bruce's left, because he is literally the favorite. Bruce denies it, but they all see the tender smile he throws the floating star.
The Wayne kids know. Jarro is too precious and hilarious, so none of them mind that he's the favorite. In fact, Dick has half the mind that he's the favorite of the majority of the family.
Jason leans over to pat Jarro's head, grinning when the little starfish swears. He adores when the kid randomly curses out of Aldred's hearing range.
"Shh, they're coming!" Cullen says from where he was lingering by the door, hoping to see Tim and Kon. He always looked up to the older boys as someone who had been forced into the closet for his own protection.
Seeing people like him helped ease the fear, and Dick feels his smile wideing when Cullen scrambles back to his seat. He's so excited he's practically in the Speed Force.
Alfred opens the door first, stepping to the side to allow the guest to enter first. Dick feels himself sit up straighter, the moment really setting in, Kon is going to propose to his younger brother.
His little Timmy is growing up-
"Wow, this place is big!" A child says, running into the room. Who the heck is he? "It's amazing, Dad!"
"Slow down. You don't want to fall." Tim laughs, rubbing the stranger's hair with a soft smile.
"It's okay, Dad. I'm strong!" The boy flexes his tiny arms. Tim laughs again as Kon crouches down to the little boy's height.
"Woah! Look at all those musceles. You're going to help me protect your dad, son?"
"Yeah Pa, I'll be the strongest super or robin ever!"
"Tim? Who might this lovely chum be?" Bruce cuts in, voice slightly strained. No one calls him out on it since they are staring wide eye at the tiny little boy who looks like an exact copy of Tim at age five.
Dick knows because he was one of the few in the Wayne's who saw Tim at that age. He's practically a clone to oh no.
Dick thinks he's having a heart attack.
Tim looks up at them before a brillient glowing smile breaks across his face. "Everyone, Kon and I have an announcement to make!"
Kon wraps an arm around his waist, sending adoring looks to man in his arms before they both hold up their left hand.
There are twin silver bands on both of their fingers. "We got married in Las Vegas, and we have a son! I like you all to meet Danny Drake-Kent! I made him when I thought Kon was dead."
"I am Danny, clone of Kon-el and Tim Drake. Fear me if you dare!" His voice squeaks. Squeaks.
Scratch that, Dick knows he's having a heart attack.
You can hear a pin drop in the silence his announcement cause, as Danny puffs up his chest and floats a few inches off the grown.
Oh, great heavens, Dick is an uncle.
"A fellow clone, son!" Jarro cheers from his little table. He slams two of his star points on the table to a beat that he speaks to. "One of us. One of us."
Danny's blue eyes land on the star fish and widen. He raises both arms into the air chanting back. "One of us. One of us. One of us!"
"It's awesome is what it is!" Steph cries, jumping up from her seat. "Hi, Danny! I'm you, Auntie Steph! I'm the cool one."
"Isn't this lovely? Master Tim not only has a husband but a child as well. Unlike some Masters." Aldred doesn't quite glare at Bruce, but he doesn't have to. The Waynes know who he means as Bruce wince.
Danny pauses in his chanting to look her up and down, staring pointily at her plum colored dress before humming. "That's a bold statement for an eggplant."
Steph gapes at him as Tim roars with laughter.
Oh, Dick is going to love this kid. He leaves his seat, trying to get to his nephew as the rest of the family attempts to do the same. Damain makes alarming threats to Kon, letting him know he would easily take him out if he detects a hint of mistreatment to his brother and new nephew.
The Waynes act like they can't hear the threat because they all have their own versions of the shovel talk prepared. They just have to get the clone alone.
It's a nice dinner.

Dude imagine-
For some reason Danny gets adopted by the bat fam right? But they don't know he has powers and he doesn't want them too. But he still uses them all the time out of habit.
-completely silent, pops up out of nowhere because of his invisibility, goes through walls and ends up getting to different rooms way faster then the rest of them.
They are confused how this random civilian child is sneaking around without them knowing how he does it and when they ask him about it he panics, cuz he doesn't want them to know he has powers so he blurts out the first thing he can think of-
"there's secret tunnels all through the manor."
They for some reason believe him(barely) because how else would he be able to get around like that?
But he refuses to tell them where they are or how he found them (because they don't exist) and they're all confused why they never found any tunnels when they explored the manor over the years.
They're also probably embarrassed that none of them, as the 'worlds greatest directive family' , could find these so called tunnels so they all look in secret separately from each other.
Eventually they decide that Danny has to be lying because none of them can find these tunnels.
Until Jason, who knows Danny is a halfa (and is maybe also one himself) tells them that the tunnels are real and that he uses them too. And he either uses his ghost abilities too if he is a halfa or he gets Danny to use his powers on him too.
And at this point the family has seen them appear and disappear, together AND separately, as soon as they're not looking, even in rooms where someone is blocking the only entrances.
Which sends the family into a frenzy,
- Tim hasn't slept in weeks, he has multiple maps and blueprints of the manor strewn around his table with empty coffee cups and a repurposed crime bulletin board.
- Dick and Steph have accepted defeat and have taken to begging Danny or Jason for the location of the tunnels. Even bringing up the pranking opportunities they could have, which they come to regret when Jason and Danny use their ideas on them and the rest of the family.
- Cass is frustrated and a little jumpy that she can't find these tunnels and that they can sneak up on her at any time, so they take pity on her and let her in on the secret. They also make sure she always know when they approach her so they don't freak her out.
- Duke has decided to stay out of it but they occasionally find him looking around for the tunnels when he thinks no one's around.
- Damien can't stand that they know something about their house that he doesn't and immediately pesters Bruce about it and interrogates everyone. He even considers joining Tim before deciding that it would be shameful to find the tunnels with his help.
- Bruce is confused because he figures he would know about any tunnels in his own home since childhood, but ultimately he believes that they're real because Danny, Jason, AND now Cass seem to know where they are. He is half parts disappointed they're so difficult to find, because the childish side of him would have enjoyed playing in them when he was younger, and half parts relieved, because he doesn't think he could handle all his kids popping in and out of every crevice in the manor. Though he does ask Alfred if he knew about them, to which he cryptically responds that he knows exactly how they're getting around, but he refuses to elaborate further. The more Bruce thinks about it he comes to realize that it makes so much since that Alfred knows, and he assumes that is how he is always getting around the manor so quickly undetected.
- Alfred knows that Danny (and maybe Jason) is a ghost because he saw him either disappear or appear out of thin air and talked to him about it. Once everyone knew he knew about what was going on they badgered him for answers but he felt it would be disrespectful and hurtful to Danny to 'out him' so to speak before he was ready, and he figured that they were just having harmless fun.

Decided to continue this enjoy
Part 2 Ecto hits the fan
While Tim found the hornet nest that would cause the JL to be up in arms ready to attack the United States government . There was a town in the west of Huntington ky on the ohio side of the river in Amity Park. The young King was looking up at the night sky he was floating high enough that most Ecto weapons wont hit him and if any GIW had a jet packs he would hear them coming with enough time to get away.
He had just turned 16 today and Clockwork has finally told him that he was now the king of the infinite realm. Things were going to happen soon and fast the realms themselves were gearing for war. If things didn’t change soon. Then he, as the king, would have to lead them to battle.
Danny closed his eyes let the light of the stars shine over him. It was getting harder to keep both the humans and ghosts safe from the GIW. They didn’t care who they hurt Star and Wes were still in the hospital from when a stray shot from agent O nearly killed them. If Danny had been a second late they would’ve been crushed by the tree Agent O had shot down. As it was Wes had a broken arm and Star had broken 4 ribs while both of them had a concussion.
Last year his entire class had discovered his identity after an incident with Vlad. They had all started to help him because members of team Phantom. His parents had interrupted Boxy’s and Lunch Lady’s bonding ceremony and now admitted that ghosts were sentient and not all ghosts were evil. He finally told him that he was a halfa two months ago so things were going well at the home front at least.
While his personal life was getting better it didn’t change the fact that he was not ready to be a king and he didn’t want to go to war. Phantom opened his eyes looking at a satellite and wondering if it was the Famous watchtower. Most of the tower had tried to contact the JL many times his first year as a hero. They had thought that the first time was a prank call and by the next call the GIW had started to put up an informal barricade. No other calls had gotten through.
Tucker had hacked their system and found out that by the end of the first year. No information about the ghost were available to anyone outside of Amity and anyone who was in Amity was heavily edited to the rest of the world Amity Parker’s didn’t exist. Danny’s first thought was to fly up to the watchtower himself and tell them what was happening. Sam had stopped him while Amity wasn’t public knowledge the Anti-Ecto acts were publicly available. This either meant they knew and agreed with them or they didn’t know and we’re being kept in the dark. Now he couldn’t leave even if he wanted to it was too dangerous for his people for him not to be around.
His ghost senses went off and he sighed. His rouges had been getting better at not being destructive but The GIW were also out. He looked down to see Ellie running from the GIW. protective rage thrummed through his core
Not My Daughter
He took off like a shot his core screamed as he saw Ellie take a shot to the back. Ectoplasm seeping down her back as she was still trying to get away.
“Papa!” She cried out as she saw him coming.
Dani now called Ellie had finally stabilized and had created a parent- child bond with him. He could feel the echo of pain from that bond.
“Ellie” he cried out looking at the GIW he noticed the had a net. “Ellie look out” he pushed her out of the way the net wrapped around him and a high electric current went through the net. The last thing he saw before passing out was Wulf grabbing Ellie and taking her to safety

Alfred finds and adopts three homeless teens while the whole of the Batclan is away, the three teens are of course The Fentons. Alfred on the other hand had been dealing with a bit of Empty Nest Syndrome and takes the trio in, so by the time the rest of the Batclan filters back there are three extra people in the Manor but the Fentons deliberately ghost the rest of the residents.
I love this for four reasons:
The potential for Alfred, who wishes Bruce would stop adopting small violent children, realizing that HE is the same.
You can't tell me Alfred, Danny, Dani, and Jazz won't be BFFs. Jazz is the only (mostly) sane person in this house besides him. Dani absolutely WILL spy and report on injuries in exchange for more of that casserole. Danny and Alfred have similar sarcastic wit.
"If we had a nickel for every billionaire with a secret identity we know, we would each have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but weird it happened twice."
The SHENANIGANS!!!!!
Shenanigans include:
At first, Alfred doesn't tell the Batfam because they're a family of detectives. Surely they'll notice. Over time, it becomes a contest of who can make them suspect the most without being found.
Alfred either playing it off or staring with a raised eyebrow when one of the Batfam asks why/if he's talking to himself.
Jazz can only be turned invisible in the nick of time so many times before somebody finds out about her. "It says here, Ms. Fenton, that you have a brother?" "Yes, Danny. He died. But don't worry, he got better!"
When Tim is forbidden caffeine for a week, Danny drinks his coffee super fast or Dani replaces it with chamomile tea with black food coloring.
Dani: "You know Dick, you really shouldn't do that."
Dick, after a moment of panic, realizing there's nothing in the room with him. "....God?"
Dani, realizing how much chaos she can cause: "yeah, that's me! God."
Danny and Dani take turns being human just to walk past open doors. They all look enough alike to Tim, Dick, Damien, and a young Jason in uncertain light that the rest of the fam has to do double takes.
When someone calls Constantine over as a favor, he takes 2 steps into the manner, says no, and RUNS.
"So I've heard the voice of God, and it sounds like a 14-year-old girl."
"....how hard did Bane hit you again?"
"God says Jason is the one who stole your book."
"...right ok."
Bruce decides he's gonna go be Batman while wounded. He snuck out, so Al calls his Secret Ghost Squad.
Batman is repeatedly interrupted (*cough* saved) by 2 OP glowing metas. Constantine will no longer cross Gotham's borders.
Danny: "You need more ectoplasm. You're a growing half-ghost."
Jason: *shoots the wall* "WHAT THE FUCK WHO WAS THAT?!"
Danny: would you believe it was God?
Jason: NO
Jason figures it out first because he's being parented by a dead guy. He actually doesn't mind that much because he gets to visit the GZ
Cass figures out second because she's observant.
Dick figures it out third by spraying 'God' with paint. He then realizes he attacked an invisible creature that can go through walls with no idea how to fight it.
Tim figures it out by deliberately putting salt in his coffee to see what would happen.
Damien finds Cujo. He is Upset that Cujo already has an owner. Danny tells Damien in exchange for Damien to stop yelling insults at him. (Dani calls him Weak for this, and tells Damien 15 minutes later because he thought she was calling HIM weak and had Opinions)
"Oh shit."
Steph bribes the 'house spirits' for prank help, and then tricks them. They tell her out of Respect.
Duke starts talking to himself about star output on his homework, gets stuck, and SpaceBoi helps. Duke's 10 minutes into stars actually being interesting for once before he realizes he's talking to a ghost.
Bruce has been introduced to them by Jazz. Alfred made her after the 4th sleepless night due to researching the surprise metas.
Dani: its cool dude, but now I have to go prank Tim. Bye!
Vlad shows up for a private meeting with Bruce Wayne. The ghosties reveal themselves in order to kick his ass.
Alfred is the only person who can get away with calling Danny 'Daniel' and Dani 'Danielle'. Anyone else has Serious Regrets.
The Joker breaks Alfred's leg in a bombing. He's never seen again. Danny, Dani, and Jazz are a little TOO innocent

DPx Marvel: The Bet
When Phantom joined the Avengers they were already aware of some of his abilities. The transformation that gave him the rest of his abilities, flight, invisibility, intangibility, and ectoplasmic fire. They thought they knew it all.
Until Bruce saw something floating across the room one end to where Danny was. It was Danny's phone and after an injury left Danny bed ridden or a time as he recovered. Upon making said discovery he quickly added "Telekinesis" to the list.
A few weeks later Tony learned Danny had Cryokinesis when he got sick and ended up freezing half of the room with a thick layer of unmeltable ice.
Clint was the one who learned about his Electrokinesis when he decided to prank the kid and Danny's revenge was an ever so gentle zap to his ribcage every time he passed him for three days.
Natasha figured out that he had Photokinesis when the two of them got stuck in a dark cave during a cave in and Danny used his abilities to help lead them out of the cave and to safety.
Steve learned that Danny had Aerokinesis when he got into an argument with the teenager about being irresponsible. It was minor but the air in the room shifted and a lot of papers went flying and one of the couches slid a good two feet away from Danny.
Thor was the one who learned that Danny could breathe under water when he found Danny at the bottom of the pool after the argument with Steve. Thor ended up joining Danny and the two stayed down there together for a few hours until Danny was cooled down enough to come to the surface.
"I swear, ever time I turn around he has a new ability." Clint said, exhausted as he sat with the rest of the adults around the table. Danny had gone to watch a movie with Peter, leaving the rest of the team a chance to talk about the stuff they'd seen.
"Why not ask him what his powers are again?" Bruce suggested, "We can also make sure we ask for all of his powers this time."
"Or we make a bet out of it." Tony suggested.
Natasha rolled her eyes, "Do you have to make a bet out of everything?"
"Yes. It keeps things interesting. I bet... two months of cleaning duties that he has at most 25 powers." Tony offered.
"No way." Steve said, "He can't have more than 20."
"Wanna bet on that?" Tony pressed as Steve glared.
"Sure."
Bruce sighed looking at Natasha who seemed defeated too.
"I'm thinking 30 and I'll bet three months on that." Clint said.
"I would like to join on this bet as well. I suspect Hel Son has at least 50!" Thor said as Loki - who was visiting for the day - glanced up at him with a raised brow.
"50?" Loki checked, "That is the number you wish to go with?"
"I can't believe I'm going to agree with Loki on this but that's a pretty big number, Thor. You sure?" Bruce checked.
"Positive!"
Bruce shrugged, "I'm going to go with with Steve on this, I don't think he has many powers left to show."
"Hm... I'm going to go with Clint." Natasha finally said, as she and Clint bumped fists.
"What about you, Loki? Do you not wish to join?" Thor asked his brother.
Loki thought about it for a moment, then smiled. "Very well. I'm going to bet that you're all wrong and that Thor's number is too low. But I also am not willing to guess how many powers has."
"Considering that's a long shot, Loki, you have that bet." Tony smirked.
As the numbers climbed higher and higher the 'long shot' Loki took was starting to look more and more promising. Especially when Danny developed a brand new power in the field one day and just looked at the team with a surprised look.
"Uh... I've never done that before..."
Only then did Loki's long shot make sense.
Danny was still getting new powers and not even Loki knew when they would stop developing.

Pictures ||2|| - Danny Johnson
You left a surprise for Danny, now it’s time for his reaction.
Part 1
THIS HAS BEEN EDITED TO FIX ANY MISTAKES.
Warnings: Danny’s still a perv, MORE picture-taking, fucking in a trial, Danny simply being himself, threats of being caught, afab reader.
Before you begin reading I’d just like to thank ALL of you for the amount of attention this got. For someone who’s only written smut like, twice, I was honestly expecting a terrible outcome. Seriously though, thank you!
Tumblr media
His knife snug in the back of Jonah, Danny grabs a fistful of the victim's hair and pulls out his camera. He had barely any selfies with the mathematician, so this had better be a good one. He lifts up Jonah's head, readying his camera to catch both him and the unlucky survivor.
But, as he tried to take the selfie, no flash emitted from his camera. Danny huffs, flipping his camera over only to be met with 'no storage remaining'. He couldn't believe it. He couldn't fucking believe it. Here he is, in a realm full of killers, killers with supernatural abilities, and a group of people he can kill over and over yet here he was completely out of camera storage. There was no way he took that many pictures of you, right? He got a little... distracted halfway through his photoshoot.
He shoves his camera back into his pocket, the now useless device simply fading in his pocket and reappearing somewhere in his shack. He'd check his storage once the trial was over. He rolls his eyes under his mask as the entity brought an end to the trial. His vision went dark, and he soon found himself back at his shack. Upon entering, he saw his red, horned mask on his cot as well as his camera and a note.
“What the hell..?" Danny takes his mask off, tossing it aside. He runs a hand through his hair, staring at the items on his bed with a raised brow. The only people who've ever been inside of his shack are Frank, Amanda, and Ji-Woon... there's no reason for any of them to mess with his stuff and leave a note for him. Danny approaches his cot and picks up the note, his face going red as he read the note.
'Check the camera for a surprise, stalker. Also, you're alot louder than you think.'
  -y/n
Danny groans, running a hand through his hair and re-reading the note until he was sure he had read it correctly. How had he, Danny Johnson, been caught? Maybe this was a trick… Frank knew about his obsession with you, maybe this was all just a fucking prank. Danny set the note down and grabbed his camera, turning it on and opening his camera roll.
“Holy shit..." Upon opening his camera roll, he was met with pictures of you on his cot, his red mask on your face as the hand not holding his camera was busy with your pussy. As he scrolled though the pictures, he could feel blood rushing to his dick as your hand went from playing with your clit to your middle and pointer finger buried knuckle-deep inside your wet cunt. Danny could feel his cock strain in his pants, his gaze locked onto his camera as he studied each and every photo. As he reached the end of the shoot, a groan leaving him as he saw the last photo; his mask resting on your chest as your back arched. Your mouth hung open in an 'o' shape.
Danny could feel his obsession with you grow stronger, the need to feel you—to make you his growing stronger with each photo he saw. He now knew you wanted him too, and the urge to claim you had finally become irresistible. The next time he saw you, no matter where it was, he was going to fuck you until his cum was practically overflowing your cunt. Maybe he'd force your teammates to watch so he could show them who you belong to.
Your next trial with him was going to be an interesting one for sure.
You had just finished washing your hair in the entity's pond when the all too familiar black fog wrapped around your legs, your head growing heavier and heavier until it had become too much for you to handle and you went toppling to the ground.
You awoke on the first story of Dead Dawg Saloon, the sound of the pianist-less piano pulling you back into consciousness. You had a strange feeling about this trial, stranger than normal. Maybe the killer had brought a hex? You knew you should be finding gen, but if the killer did have a hex, then cleansing it could change the entire outcome of the trial. You knew a totem could occasionally appear in a back room of the saloon, and so you run a hand through your hair and make your way there.
Just as you had suspected, a hex sat in the corner of the room, the black holes of the skulls staring through you. You still felt strange, but you shook off your unease and began cleansing the totem. The feeling ran down your spine, growing stronger despite you cleansing the hex. You tried to convince yourself that the killer had another hex, or brought a strong offering, but you knew deep down that it was something worse. You try your best to ignore your paranoia and turn to leave the room.
“Cleansing my totems already, Dollface?"
A gloved hand grabs your waist, the other roaming up and down your body. The voice and gloves belonged to none other than Danny, who was already grinding himself against you. You felt a pang of relief when you realized it was him, Leaning your head back against his shoulder. He must've seen the pictures, his cock already hard as it pressed against your ass.
“Did you enjoy your surprise?" You ask, chuckling when Danny lets out a low groan and presses his bulge against your ass. It strained uncomfortably against his pants, and he wanted nothing more than to pin you down on the table and fill you with his cum. "Loved it, Sweetheart. But you know what I'd love a lot more?" You turn around, facing Danny and cupping the plastic mask in your hands. You smile, gazing into the black eyeholes of the mask.
“What?"
“You, Dollface."
You pull his mask aside enough to reveal his mouth, ghosting your lips against his. "Then take me." In an instant, Danny's lips smashed against yours. God, he needed you. He backed you up against the table, pushing you down against it without breaking the kiss. Your arms wrapped loosely around his neck, pulling down his hood in order to bury your fingers in his thick, black hair. The need for air breaks the kiss, but it wasn't long until Danny pulled you back in, his teeth grazing your bottom lip.
You smirk against his lips, earning a growl from Danny. "Don't tease me, Baby. I promise you do not want to do that." His hands slither down your body until they reach your ass, his fingers gripping you with enough force to cause you to gasp, his tongue immediately invading your mouth. You fought for dominance, Danny easily winning that battle and exploring your mouth with his tongue until he had to pull away to catch his breath.
“Always knew you'd leave your teammates to do all the gens just so you could get filled to the brim with my cum. Such a little tease, too. I'll tell you again Dolly," Danny leans down, his hot breath hitting your ear. "You tease me, you pay the price. Got it?" You smirk, nodding. "I wouldn't dream of it, Ghostie."
“Save 'Ghostie' for when the mask stays on." And with that, Danny removes his mask and tosses it aside haphazardly. He was everything you wanted in a man—straight black hair that was ruffled from being in a hood all the time, bright blue eyes that gave contrast to the rest of his looks as well as his personality, and pale skin that was in desperate need of a few hickeys. He chuckles at your reaction, his thumb brushing over your chin. "Take a picture, it'll last longer."
“Give me your camera, then." You grab Danny by his hair, lifting his head up and kissing a mole that sat right where his adam's apple was. He let out a groan, pushing you back down against the table. "I've warned you one too many times, y/n.” Danny steps away from you, his eyes roaming over your perfect body. "Clothes off, now. Once they're off I want you on the table." You nod, slipping your shirt off as quickly as you could. Danny stood there watching as you undress, undoing his cloak at a painfully slow rate. You were fully undressed and on display for Danny and he was still half dressed. Yes, he was attractive, and his toned chest had you begging for him, but he was going way too slow.
“Hurry it up, Danny. They've already done two generators." He scoffs, taking a step closer to you. "You teased me, and I specifically told you not to. Actions have consequences, doll.” Danny glances down at your exposed sex, clicking his tongue. “Look how wet you are for me, maybe one day I'll pull you into a locker with me and taste that pretty pussy. For now, I need to fuck you." Your pussy clenched around nothing as Danny spoke, the thought of him taking you in any way imaginable causing you to moan and lean back against the table, which you had gotten on top of the second the last of your clothes hit the ground.
After what seemed like an eternity, he removed his cloak and tossed it aside, now standing inches away from you in nothing but a pair of grey boxers. You knew from the video you had found that he certainly wasn't small, but seeing his bulge strain against his boxers made you realize he was a lot bigger than you had thought.
“What? Didn't expect my dick to be this big? Heh, would I really record myself getting off if it was small?" You roll your eyes and watch as Danny hooks a finger in his underwear, pulling them down just enough for you to see the base of his cock.
“How y' feeling, Dollface?" Danny asks, exposing more and more of his cock as he stepped closer to you until he was as close as he could get. "Like I'll take your knife and kill you myself if you don't fuck me already." Danny chuckles, letting his boxers fall to his ankles before kicking them away. "Perfect." He places his hands on either side of your head, his gaze roaming your body once more. "God, your tits are huge. Hard, too. So needy... What were you imagining while you fucked yourself in my shack?" Danny runs a hand down your side, stopping it dangerously close to your cunt.
You grind your hips upwards in an attempt to feel any form of friction, but Danny simply pins your hips down onto the table. He wanted an answer before he fucked you senseless, and he knew he was going to get one. "I-" You start, your breath hitching as Danny drags his fingers lower, stopping them just above your clit.
“I-I imagined you pounding into me without even stretching me out first, taking pictures of your dick buried inside of me." Danny nods, his fingers finally running over your clit. You gasp, grabbing Danny's arm. "And?" He adds, stilling his fingers.
“You left marks all over me, touching me everywhere I've ever wanted to be touched." Your words elicit a groan from Danny, his fingers gathering your slick before rubbing teasingly slow circles around your clit. You whine, your hips involuntarily pressing against his hand. "That's a good girl, already so sensitive and I've barely even touched you. You want me to fuck you just how you imagined? You want me to shove my thick cock in that tight pussy without even prepping you?" You nod, unable to form words as Danny's fingers worked wonders on your sex.
"Gonna need you to say it out loud, Dollface." Danny winks, pulling his fingers away, met with a pitiful whine from you as your hips twitch and thighs clench. He brings his fingers to his mouth, licking up the juices that had gathered on his digits.
“God yes, Danny! Please, I need you so fucking bad! Ple- DANNY~!" Your begging was interrupted as Danny shoves his thick cock into you, his head lulling back as a loud groan escapes his lips. He thrusts into you at a fast pace, your walls clenching around him with each thrust. “Fuck, y/n, you feel so good. So goddamn tight." Danny buries his face in your neck, sucking and kissing your skin until he had marks running down your neck and all the way to your collarbone. Your fingers dug into his back, only adding to Danny's pleasure.
“F-Faster, Danny—ngh, please!" Danny only grunts before beginning to slam into you at a near inhuman pace, the sound of skin slapping skin and moans filling the saloon. The table rattled underneath you, but neither of you paid any mind to it.
You were sure the other survivors had caught onto what you were doing, saying as the generator on the balcony had been completed, but you didn't care. The feeling of Danny's cock plowing into you, his lips pressed against your body, and his hand reaching down to rub at your clit was more than enough to distract you from the thought of being caught.
Suddenly, he takes his hand away and slows his pace. Your head jerks up to look at him, being met with Danny holding his hand out as if he was waiting for something to be placed in it. "Wha-?" He shuts you up with a kiss, pulling away to reveal a new camera which had somehow gotten in his hand.
“Thank the entity for that one, Dollface. Seems she wants this as bad as we do." He chuckles, planting a quick kiss to your lips before returning to the pace he had before, now using his free hand to capture pictures of his cock buried deep with you. Your back arches and you let out a half-moan, half-scream when Danny hits a place deep within you, your moment of immense pleasure no doubt being captured by his camera.
“Yes! Right there! Oh my god, fuck!" Your words soon become nothing more than moans and chantings of Danny's name, the killer leaning down to moan into your ear. He wasn't quiet, he saw no need in suppressing how you made him feel. Loud moans and grunts left him with each thrust, your name leaving his mouth over and over like a broken record. "Shit... I'm not gonna last much longer, y/n. I-fuck, need to fill you up."
“I-I'm close, Danny!" Danny's forehead rests on yours, his eyes closed as yours rolled back as the pleasure began to overwhelm you. "Cum with me, Dollface. Cum all over my cock." Danny lifted your legs, tossing one on his shoulder while the other wrapped around his waist. He somehow hit a place deeper inside of you, the tip of his cock hitting your cervix with every thrust. Tears of pleasure well in your eyes as the knot in your abdomen begins to grow. Danny was dangerously close too, his thrusts becoming sloppy as he sets the camera aside and grips your hips tightly.
“I'm gonna cum, y/n! Cum with me- fuck, cum with me!" Your back arches as Danny slams into you one last time, releasing his seed deep inside of you. You reach your peak and scream Danny's name as you cum, your cunt clenching around him as your release flooded through you. You could hear his camera snapping pictures of you.
Danny fucked you through your high, pumping his cum as deep into you as he could. Once you both came down from your high, Danny stopped moving and captured your lips with his. This kiss was much more passionate than the last, filled with nothing but complete adoration for you and your body. He pulls away and pulls out, a trickle of his cum leaking out of you and dripping onto the table.
“You felt so good, Dollface." Danny's hand stroked your cheek and he moved to lay next to you, his legs dangling off of the table. You could see something in his eyes that you had never seen before, a softness that had your cheeks heating up. "So did you, Danny."
“From the way you were screaming my name I assumed I did."
“Oh, shut the hell up."
 “You love me, Dollface." His comment had you stuttering for a response, getting a chuckle from Danny as he reached down and grabbed your hand, rubbing his thumb across your knuckles. He was right, you really did love him. You didn't want to admit that you, a survivor, loved a killer, but you could no longer avoid the truth. He talked to you in trials, gave you hatch if he could, and never seemed too keen on killing you. He was a complete 180 from the Danny every other survivor talked about.
“And you love me too." You respond, hoping snd praying to whatever was listening that he truly did. Was Danny Johnson capable of love? That even he didn't know until he met you. He didn't want to kill you, which was a red flag from the start. But, as time went on, he began to realize...
“I really do, Dollface."

I've waited this long
Day two of Shipweek is Soulmates! And so I offer the masses a humble Roy Harper/Danny Fenton ship, so rare they don't even have a ship name yet! Upon the offer of one, I may be tempted to make more of this ship, they are a match made in hell imo. ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
here's: [Ao3]
Despite how much Danny’s parents invest in the scientific method, they were never one’s to believe in things like ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’. They stood by their ideals that ghosts were real but soulmates were things people imagined so much a market grew for it, despite forty per-cent of the population having one.
 So of course the first thing Danny’s parents did when Danny showed off the white ring he got on his left middle finger was tell him to take it off.
 He told them he couldn’t, of course. Danny didn’t know what soulmates even were, he was only four. When he asked them why, they thought he was playing a prank. They tried to take it off his finger by force, but of course it wouldn't budge. They ran tests and did experiments and theorized and hypothesized and hummed and hawed until they were pulling their hair out.
 And still the ring would not leave little Danny Fenton’s finger.
 They finally settled on Danny having some sort of allergic reaction with the metal and surrounding samples of ectoplasm bonding the ring to his finger temporarily and told him to test it every once in a while to see if it came off.
 And then they forgot about it.
 Jazz found Danny later, curled up and crying on his bed after the whole ordeal. She comforted him, told him what the ring actually was, and said that if he ever did find his soulmate that he shouldn’t bring it up to his parents. He silently agreed, then drifted to sleep in her arms.
~~~~~
    Stupid idiot. Stupid Danny. Why did you follow Rory into a city you didn’t have the map for?
 Danny kicked a crumpled can along the sidewalk, watching it skitter along the pavement as he tried to remember which street he had turned from. He honestly didn’t even want to be here, in a city so far from Amity and his parents, it wasn’t his idea to sign him up for the end-of-school field trip; it was Jazz’s. Danny would rather be back in Amity Park, playing DOOMED with Tucker while they figure out what classes they were most likely to have together in high school.
 Instead he was lost in a city he’d never been to, thanks to his free time buddy, Rory, leading him around after stealing his phone and stranding him without the map they were given. Jackass.
 Another kick to the can sent Danny’s current stress relief straight into a storm drain. Danny froze, staring at the spot it had disappeared, before letting out a sound that was half growl, half groan. Stomping back on his original path, Danny sneered at his sneakers. He was going to murder Rory over this, there were enough tools in their stupid basement for Danny to beat that stupid smirk off that ass and- “Oof!”
 Danny staggered back a step, clutching his nose as he blinked up at what- who- he had bumped into.
 Concerned jade eyes met his lake blue as a boy slightly taller than him rushed to grab his shoulders and stabilize him. He froze, deer-in-the-headlights style as the stranger swept his eyes over the rest of Danny to make sure nothing was damaged.
 “You okay?” The other asked, jolting Danny out of his daze.
 “Uh, yeah, of course!” Danny squeaked out, feeling a small embarrassed flush warm his face.
 The stranger looked down slightly, to Danny’s confusion. He quickly realized he still has his hand over his face like an idiot.
 “Ope- yeah totally okay!” Danny quickly tore his hand away from his face in further embarrassment, really hoping he was right in not feeling any signs to the start of a nosebleed. Just to make sure, he checked his palm, giving a small sigh of relief at not seeing any red, just some light pink on his finger… Wait-
 He spun his hand around, making sure to check if his ring really had turned pink.
 “Holy shit,” the guy in front of him whispered, and looking up Danny could see him inspecting his own pink ring. Maybe he should thank Rory instead of murdering him, the guy led him to his soulmate after all.
 The guy- his soulmate oh god he needed to tell Jazz- looked up to him, stunned and a little awestruck. Danny, for lack of anything else to do, stuck his hand out with a goofy grin as he introduced himself.
 “Hey, my name’s Danny; Danny Fenton. Looks like you’re my soulmate.”
 ∆•∆•∆•∆
 So as it turned out, the guy -Roy was his name- was a Star city native. After they made their introductions Danny asked if Roy knew the way back to his hotel. Roy gave him the most confused look he’d seen on him (yet) and told him that he’d almost made it to a completely different part of the city, and “why the fuck are you in the south side to begin with?” And, well Danny sheepishly explained his situation as they started walking the right way back.
 While Roy didn’t say much to his explanation, the brilliant vermillion Danny’s ring turned probably meant that he and his soulmate had the same thoughts about Rory at the moment.
 It was nearing supper time by the time Danny and Roy made it back to the hotel, and Roy was unfortunately witness to the rant Danny’s teacher went on about “Staying with his buddy” and “not following strangers in a large city”. As soon as Roy held their rings up she redacted her last statement with a click of her jaw. Roy then proceeded to explain to Ms. Montal about how Danny’s “buddy” left him stranded in a different part of the city without his phone, and how if Roy hadn’t found him that she might’ve had to resort to calling the police and explain how unsafe it was to have kids running around the city unsupervised.
 Yeah, Danny was definitely glad Roy was with him at that moment. The nice shade of red that tinted Ms. Montal’s face -either in embarrassment over being so thoroughly called out by someone the same age as her students, or seething rage- had Danny moving a hand over his mouth to muffle his suppressed laughter. He didn’t know if it was any help, if the glare that could melt steel he got from his teacher was any indication.
 After they got to watch the lovely conversation Rory had with their teacher for leaving Danny behind, he asked if Roy wanted to come up to his room to talk some more after they had supper. Roy refused, saying he had somewhere to get to and the dinner was already pushing his time into the ‘late’ category. He asked if there was any good time for them to meet up the next day, but again their schedules didn’t line up. Roy asked about the day after, but they couldn't meet then, as tomorrow was their last day in the city.
 Danny stared at his shoes, at a loss for what to do. He really wanted to spend more time with his soulmate now that they’ve met, especially when Roy had so many stories about his mentor/foster father and his screw ups.
 “Well, you have a phone right?” Roy asked. When he nodded Roy’s face split into a grin. “Then you can just give me your number!”
 They ended up trading both phone numbers and emails, just in case. Apparently Roy had just as much of a chance to break or lose his phone as Danny did.
 With one last wave, Roy walked back the way they had come, the light of the dying sun setting his red hair ablaze. With how far apart they lived, Danny wondered if they would ever get to see each other again face-to-face.
 He hoped they would.
 While getting a ride back from Oliver's house Roy felt something. He didn’t know what that something was exactly, but it felt like someone just hit him with a live wire and dunked him in a bath of hydrogen peroxide.
 It hurt.
 It hurt like someone haddunked him in acid, slammed him into an electric fence then gave him a million paper cuts and bathed him in lemon juice. It hurt so much he screamed and blacked out.
 Apparently it hurt so much for Oliver to pull the car over, because the next time he could see clearly he was leaning up against the side of the car on the pavement. Olliver was in front of him, worry clear on his face. He blinked as his mentor fretted over him, thoughts not really deeper than ‘god that hurt like a bitch’.
 A light wind brushed his cheek and the cold stuck in tracks down to his chin. Absently, he brought his hand to his face, feeling the damp trails that led to his chin. Was he crying? He groaned, twitching with aftershocks and trying to think about anything other than the feeling of full body pins and needles he had.
 “Roy,” his mentor called, voice shaken. Why was the Green Arrow so shaken over what just happened?
 Roy looked to his mentor, only to find that Oliver was looking at the hand he had raised to his cheek. Dread settling in his stomach, Roy shakily lifted his hand up.
 The band around his middle finger was charcoal black.
 It felt like someone had just squeezed all the air out of his lungs. It couldn’t- no. Danny was fine.  They had just talked yesterday, he couldn’t be dead! There was no way Danny could have died, it was impossible.
 Roy was shaking now, for a completely different reason than the pain he just felt. He jerkily grabbed the ring between two fingers, desperately trying to- to- to do something! Either to rub the dirt (it was just dirt it had to be Danny couldn’t be dead) or keep the piece of jewelry from crumbling off his finger. It still felt solid, despite its colour being the exact color soul rings turn when a person’s soulmate dies.
 Desperately he looked to Oliver. He was the adult here, he should know what to do, right?
 But the stare Roy got back from his mentor was one full of grief and sadness, not the look he got when he was able to help, just loss. Roy’s lungs weren’t drawing in breath. His hand went from his ring to his phone, ripping it out of his pants pocket and dialling the one number he needed to pick up right now. Please Danny please pick up.
 The Dial tone rang once, twice, thrice. The whole time Roy repeated please pick up please pick up please pick up in his head, eyes never leaving the black band on his finger.
 “Roy?” Danny’s voice rasped through the receiver and Roy’s lungs finally caught breath.
 “Holy fuck Danny, are you okay? What happened‽” Roy nearly screamed into the phone, to Oliver's clear shock as he looked between the still black band and the cellphone in Roy’s hand.
 “Nothing,” Danny groaned, clearly still in pain. “I just got a small shock from one of my parents' inventions.”
 “Bullshit,” Roy shot back. “If you call what you got a ‘small shock’ then where the fuck did the police TAZER shoot me from?”
 Another groan from the other end of the line, along with the sounds of hushed voices that he couldn’t make out. Rustling fabric and soft footsteps was all that he listened to for what he thought was too long until Danny spoke up again.
 “Look, I don’t really know what to tell you right now, Roy… I just feel like I got hit by a train and everything’s still kinda…” Danny trails off for a moment, making Roy worry that he passed out or something, but a sigh fills the call with static and then Danny’s back. “I just really need a bit to not feel like shit now, Roy. You think I can call you back tomorrow? We can talk more then.”
 Was- wh- is Danny really just brushing all that pain off? Like it was nothing?? Like ‘oh, of course Danny, all you need is a little sleep and you’ll be good to go tomorrow!’ Fuck no, thats not how this works!
 Another grunt of pain makes its way through the line, and Roy sighs. ‘Danny is alive,’ he reminds himself, ‘and he’ll still be alive then he wakes up tomorrow’. Even while thinking it the words sound like a lie. The band around his finger is still black. Logically Danny shouldn’t be talking with him at all, he shouldn’t have been able to pick up the call. A small voice in the back of his brain whispers to him, ‘Someone got to him, someone who wanted to use him to get to Green Arrow. That isn’t Danny on the phone, it's a fake’. It's a part he’s afraid to prove right.
 “Sure, Danny. Just- just tell me one thing right now, okay?” He’s practically begging his soulmate -who he thinks is his soulmate- as his voice grows dry. A grunt was all he got in reply.
 “What color is my ring right now?”
 Danny is dead, for real this time.
 Roy doesn’t know when it happened, he’d been taken by Luthor and his goons for the last three months and the whole experience was a bit of a blur, but sometime during that Danny's ring finally crumbled off his finger.
 He sat in the hospital bed, refusing to acknowledge the tears coming from his eyes as he stared at his bare finger. ‘I should’ve been there for him, I should have made sure he was okay.’ His thoughts spiraled as he wished, begged, for the ring to magically reappear on his finger. He prayed to every higher power he could think of to bring Danny back. Just one more day with his stupid texts, his long rants about the stars, his anything. He’d give the world to hear his soulmate's voice again.
 A knock on the hospital room door had him scrambling to wipe his face of tears and clear his voice as quietly as he could.
 “Come in,” he tried not to croak. He could tell it was Ollie as soon as he opened the door, but still he didn’t turn his head.
 “Roy…” His mentor didn’t know what to say either, he almost wanted to scoff. Of course the old man didn’t know what to say, he didn’t know the first thing about having a soulmate. In the end it was something he had to deal with himself.
 They stayed there, silence choking them like a snake coiling around its prey. Roy really didn’t want his old man to see how bad he was taking it, and his old man couldn’t console him for the gaping emptiness he was feeling. So they just did nothing, frozen like a picture in time.
 Finally, a sigh escaped the man behind Roy. “I’m sorry I couldn’t find you sooner,” he murmured out. He sounded so broken. And still Roy didn’t turn to face him, he just struggled and failed to keep a sob from escaping him.
 That day Roy told himself to keep the memories he had of Danny close to him, and to never speak about him to anyone again.
 ‘Everything… Was a lie. Everything I knew about myself isn’t real. I was just a pawn, a chess piece for someone else's game.’
 Vandal Savage, that asshole.
Roy (was he even really Roy if he was just a replacement?) was in… not his room. It was Roy’s room in Ollie’s place. It was dark, he didn’t bother to turn the light on when he came in and was just watching the lights of the city from out his window.
 What… What should he do now? He can’t just go on living somebody else's life now that he knows it isn’t his own. That would be wrong, and fucked up even for him.
 But Guardian, he had said that the light didn’t have the real Roy. If the light didn’t actually have him, then where was he? He refused to believe the real Roy was actually dead, those fuckers wouldn’t kill him off after cloning him. It was too easy, to just dispose of a chess piece that still has use? No, they wouldn’t do that…
 Right?
 He stood up and walked to the window, tracing the lights of cars criss-crossing along the roads like lines of ants.
 No. No, he refused to believe the real Roy was dead. He couldn’t be, he would eat his bow before he believed the real Roy wasn’t still out there.
 And Roy was, he would find him.
Today's search with Jim was a bust, a complete waste of time. Even with the new tech provided by the league, the Wayne Ecogram unit told them the exact same thing as what we already found the last dozen times we went down there. Nothing. Not a scrap or clue or anything.
 He layed in bed on his stomach as he groused over the day. He could still feel that Roy was alive somewhere, like an itch just under his skin. It was telling him to keep searching, look, find him but people were starting to lose faith.
 He was just so tired. He hadn’t moved in hours since he got back, just thinking over what little they knew of what happened. He turned his head so he could see out of the window. The lights still shone from the city outside, people going on with their nights- with their lives- while he was stuck watching as time marched forward mockingly. His neck protested the movement, muscles sore from overwork and the strain of being still for hours making itself known as he finally moved to haul himself into a sitting position.
 On a brighter note, Jim had his lab work come back. They were in the same boat now, both being cloned from the same guy. Though somehow he still felt like they weren’t on the same page.
 Jim already had his own identity, his own self built personality. He wasn’t meant to be a copy of someone, a replacement. No, Jim wasn’t aware of the feeling of getting the rug ripped out from under your feet because you find out (in the worst way possible) that the life you’d been living, the fucking name you used, wasn’t your own. He was blissfully unaware of how that sucker punch to the gut felt, and so it left him alone even with someone like him to understand.
 And he was just. So. Tired.
 But he couldn’t rest.
 Ten months.
 It has been ten months since this search had started for the real Roy, and not even the Bats have found anything. The League has resorted to tailing Luthor on rotation for any clues, but they’ve started asking why they were still trying.
 ‘Roy’ had pulled Robin away to Star City with him, so they could go through the original Roy's things. He honestly hadn’t bothered to touch most of the older things in Roy’s room, he was too focused on the mission at the time to care for whatever little civilian interaction he had kept for convenience. It had taken some convincing, but Robin at least saw how hard he was working.
 “Dude, when was the last time you checked your inbox?” The Boy Wonder asked as he scrolled through old emails and spam on a laptop he had found buried under a clothes pile.
 “A while,” he drawled sarcastically as he searched an old box of trick arrowheads. Honestly why did he even have these in here?
 Robin continued to scroll as he quickly lost interest with the box, shoving it off his lap in frustration and moved to pick through the bottom of Roy’s closet. Quiet settled for a while, with only the occasional sounds of ‘Roy’s grunting and the clicking of the laptops trackpad keys.
 “Hey Roy…” He turned to look at the Boy Wonder as he read something from the laptop, eyebrows scrunched together behind his pointless sunglasses. “Since when did you have a soulmate?”
 The question struck him like an arrow to the heart, making him straighten where he sat. He had almost forgotten by now that he- Roy- had had a soulmate before he went missing. A wave of sadness washed over him as he realised Roy would never be able to see Danny again.
 “I don’t,” he replied softly, unsure of how to feel over those memories. “Danny died sometime while I was kidnapped by Luthor, I didn’t know about it until I was in the hospital.”
 “Who told you that?” Robin asked cautiously, eyes going back and forth from the screen to his face.
 “I…” He… couldn’t remember. He could’ve sworn it was Ollie, but he couldn’t remember having the conversation- with anyone. Just the immense feeling of loss afterwards. But it was something so important to him- to Roy- why couldn’t he remember? “Why?” He asked instead, “what did you find on there?”
 Robin just shuffled up the bed some, making space for him to sit down beside him. At first he didn’t understand what he was looking at, just a short message from Danny; nothing too personal, just saying something about him being worried over him and asking to get in touch when he could. It read like one of their old conversations they would have before Luthor got him, so why was Robin showing him this?
 “Look at the date it was sent,” Robin instructed, pointing to the little bar showing when the email was sent. His eyes grew to saucer size when he realized why it was of interest.
 “September eighth, 2009?” He mumbled out dazedly. The email was sent over two years after  he died? That didn’t make any sense, why would someone use Danny’s old email just to send him something like this?
 “Who told you your soulmate was dead, Roy?” Robin asked again, and he realized that he didn’t have an answer. No one had told him that Danny was dead, he just remembered it.
 “N-no one… I just remember that he died while…” The realization hit harder than Superman, knocking the air from his lungs and leaving the Boy Wonder to finish his thought for him.
 “You just remember that he had died while you were with CADMUS. You never thought to check your sources because you thought you just lost him, but maybe you should look into that now.”
 He could only nod in agreement as he reread the email over and over again.
‘Roy’ knocked on the door of the townhouse that could hold the answers he needed to find the real Roy. He looked up, tilting his head at the chrome UFO stationed precariously on the roof of the building. Something told him that the Drs. Fenton did not have a permit for that thing, but from what he could remember of his -Roy’s- conversations with Danny, there wasn’t a government that could really stop the Fentons from doing what they wanted. Still, someone had to have tried, right?
 Robin was probably looking into it from where they parked up the road, along with whatever permits they needed to keep that thing that had just pulled out of the driveway from being impounded and torn for scrap.
 His head snapped back to the door as it opened, revealing- oh god.
 Danny was definitely taller than he remembered, paler too. His original’s soulmate now stood a head taller than he did, which when he was over six foot was saying something, with lean arms running up into a baggy t-shirt, no doubt hiding more lean muscle underneath. Maybe he did track or swim in high school? He was still Danny though, the same guy Roy met all those years ago when he was still trying to make Ollie take him on as an apprentice after his parents died. The same kid he helped get back to his school group and the kid he almost punched someone over.
 God, he missed Danny.
 Eyes a much brighter blue than he remembered widened so much it looked like they were about to pop out of their sockets, he almost wanted to laugh before they narrowed, zeroing in on where he knew he had his hands. Danny looked from his hand to his face -which he kept carefully neutral- before sighing, leaning himself against the frame of the door with a silent curse.
 “Please tell me Vlad didn’t make you,” he asked, looking even more tired than when he opened the door.
 “Whose Vlad?” He responded, twisting his face in confusion. Danny gave him a long, hard look. Neither of them blinked, and he was starting to get worried as to whether or not Danny would actually talk to him.
 Finally, with a sigh Danny turned to walk inside, leaving the door open for him to walk in. “No one,” he grumbled before he trudged into the living room. “Let's chat, clone boy.”
 ∆•∆•∆•∆
 When Danny had asked if anyone knew they were meeting, he hadn’t expected for him to ask to go get Robin from the car for the conversation. “My parents will be out for a while, they got a signal from the other side of town. Might as well take this chance,” he said to brush off the Boy Wonder’s concerns of them having their chat in the living room.
 “So,” Danny started as he clapped his hands together. “Since you haven’t attacked me yet, we can start with your names.”
 “You can call me Rob,” Robin said from the seat next to him.
 “Roy,” he reluctantly gave, to which Danny shook his head looking disappointed.
 “Nope, try again. I asked for your name, not the name of the guy you were cloned from.” Robin stiffened at the mention of the real Roy, having not yet been told about Danny’s earlier comment.
 “How do you know that?” The Boy Wonder questioned, falling into his mentor's way of interrogating.
 Danny just snorted, “You think I don’t know my own soulmate when I see him? This guy isn’t him; I know ‘cause you can’t clone a soul ring.” He held up his left hand, showing the grey band on his middle finger. A jolt of relief surged through him, the ring wasn’t black, Roy was alive!
 “And how are you so sure of that?” Robin prodded, keeping the conversation on track for the two of them so he could have his validation in peace.
 “Wouldn’t you like to know, waterboy,” Danny quoted at Robin before turning back to him. “So, do you have a name yet or do we need to think of one?”
 The question was asked with a tone so soft he thought Danny thought he might break at the suggestion. It was kind, just as kind as he remembered Danny to be. He glanced at Robin before looking at his own hands, uncertain.
 “I… I don’t- I haven’t thought of one yet,” he stuttered, feeling suddenly far too vulnerable. He didn’t want to look up at his originals’ soulmate's face, scared of what he’d see. Funny how he could face world ending threats and yet this civilian from some small ass town in the midwest was the thing that scared him more.
 He heard Danny shift from in front of him as he spoke, “Alright.” The word was spoken so gently he had to look up, just to see if he meant it like that. Pools of ice froze the breath in his lungs as he stared at an expression so full of melancholy. Fuck, why is Danny looking at him like that? Why is he looking at him like he’s seen what he’d done -what he is- and understands?
 Danny is just a civilian, isn’t he?
 Their stare broke as Danny looked to Robin. “So, if you aren’t here ‘cause of Amity’s problems or Vlad, what are you here for?”
 Robin was about to answer, but he cut him off. “We need your help.”
 Those icy-blues turned back to him with a tilt of his head. “Help? What help can I give you?”
 He swallowed, mouth dry, “We need to know anything you know about Roy- the real Roy. It might be a stretch but we’re running out of options.”
 “And why do you think I know anything about where he is when nobody’s told me anything about what you’ve been doing for the last five years?” Danny’s eyes glanced between the two heroes before him. “I mean, I know he’s not dead. I’ve checked more than a few times to make sure. And since I’m pretty sure he’s in the living world I can’t help you magically find him.”
 “Living world?” Robin asked before either of them had the chance to decipher what that could mean.
 Danny looked between the two across from him, face twisted in utter confusion. “You mean after all this time, even when I have two of the Justice league Juniors here-” he lifted his hand to stop whatever denials Robin was going to try to start. “-Yes I know you work with the Justice League, I’d be stupid not to know who works with the ignorant Super Friends when they’ve been ignoring every call for help we’ve sent. You also work in such a similar occupation to the town hero to have been cloned, but that's not the point. The point is, you came to Amity Park, the most haunted place on earth- to Fentonworks- and you haven’t done your research?”
 Silence filled the room as the two heroes looked at each other. What do they even say to that? Apparently Robin knew, as he looked back to Danny, sitting his elbows on his knees and steepling his fingers over his mouth.
 “How about we all start from the beginning?”
 ∆•∆•∆•∆
 So.
 Ghosts are apparently real. That was not something he expected to have confirmed today. Robin looked to be in a similar state of shock, though the bat-poker face kept his expression level for anyone not used to their microexpressions. Danny had a similar look of contemplation, though much less surprised.
 “So let me get this straight. You-” Danny pointed to him, “-were created five years ago by an evil extension of the American government with funding by an evil-er billionaire. You took Roy’s place so you could make it to the big leagues so that this evil billionaire and his evil friends could gain control of said big leagues. Because Roy had a soul ring and you don’t, they gave you the implanted memory of me dying so you wouldn’t think to check in on me and accidentally throw off your mission. You succeeded in getting control of the Justice League, found out you were actually a clone, then promised to find your original. Now you’re here because you're running out of ways to find him. Did I get all that right?”
 The two heroes nodded dumbly, before Robin piped up. “And let's see if I get what you’re telling us.”
 Danny nodded as Robin took a breath. “So. Ghosts are real. Your town has been dealing with ghosts for the last six years without help from the Justice League because you stopped trying to call for help after year three. Your town hero has fought world destroying beings and gods and no one ever noticed. Five years ago was the last time you heard from Roy, but you know he’s alive because A. You’ve tried looking for him in the literal realm of the dead, and B. Your soul ring hasn't gone black and crumbled yet. Did I miss anything?”
 “You forgot the part where the whole town basically has a bone to pick with the league now ‘cause they never even answered our calls, and the secret government facility trying to capture and experiment on anything with even an ounce of ectoplasm in their systems with a base right outside the town limits.”
 Robin took in another breath and held it. “Right, that too,” he squeaked out.
 Looking back to Danny, he tried to examine him more than he could at the door. Eyebags so deep you could sleep in them, musculature suited for dodging and running, rather than brute strength, faint scarring crisscrossing both arms reaching as far as his collarbones.
 “You fight them,” he realized.
 Danny shrugged, “When I have to, yeah. You won’t find many people in Amity that don’t have these kinds of scars. Even the kids have a few good scrapes here and there.” He looked down then, eyes following the paths his scars made with an expression of someone who’d seen too much for his age. The same kind of look he knew greeted the Team whenever one of them looked in the mirror.
 Heavy silence engulfed the living room as the two heroes tried to come up with something to say to this civilian, to console or apologize or to rectify years of neglect- something. But there was no excuse for this. For what the whole town -for what Danny- had to go through, no words were enough to make that right.
 It wasn’t his place to apologize anyway.
 Instead he stood up, Robin following quickly after. “Well, this was enlightening in more ways than one, but since you can’t tell us where Roy is we have to go find answers somewhere else.” He remarked with no heat, he couldn’t even find it in him to sass.
 He was so hopeful that this would give them something, anything more than just to prove that the real Roy was alive. They found that out, at least, but no clue as to where Luthor might have hidden him. This was their last real lead, even if it was a longshot.
 A noise from behind them had him turning to see Danny following them. “Now where do you think you’re going?” Danny asked them.
 “Back? We need to track down more leads or nothing will be done,” he replied.
 “We also need to report the situation in your town. This was a major oversight, and it needs to be rectified,” Robin added on.
 “Not without me you’re not,” Danny said as he crossed his arms.
 He gave Robin a look of confusion as Danny continued. “I’ve waited this long to hear something about my soulmate and you think I’ll stay put when you tell me he needs help? Fat chance of that.”
 “It’s too dangerous for a civilian,” Robin tried to argue. “If we do find him he’ll be surrounded by highly trained guards. It would devastate Roy if he came back and you weren’t there.”
 “That’s why I’m going,” Danny argued back. “And who said anything about me being a civilian?”
 Before either of them could ask a bright light sprung from Danny's waist, splitting in two and crossing his body. Where the light passed Danny changed, from a t-shirt and jeans to padded cloth and armor. Green eyes stared at them under ethereal snow white hair, accented by a sharp smile.
 “Meet the town hero,” Danny quipped in a voice of static and screams.
 “Your source better not be wrong, Phantom,” Will hissed at the half-ghost as he crouched behind the outer wall of a League of Assassins base.
 “Trust me Will, Dani knows better than to joke about something this serious,” Danny whispered back, scoping the place out from the inside just to make sure. Dani knew how serious this was, sure, but Danny said he still needed to see it with his own eyes.
 It had been a little over two years since Danny had joined Will on his search for his template. Another two years of searching for someone the rest of the League thought was dead, even if the evidence to the contrary wrapped around Danny’s finger. Even Dick and Jim, the two who had held out the longest, had turned their backs on the search. Now it was just him and Danny, and Danny’s clone whenever she decided to give them a lead with a call.
 “One more door,” Danny murmured through the comms. “This door is even more heavily guarded than the others, think this is the one Dani was talking about.”
 It was quiet for a few seconds as Danny bypassed the guards and the door, and the silence stretched longer than Will thought acceptable. “Phantom?” He asked through the line.
 A rough breath enhanced the light static that never seemed to go away with Phantom on comm. It was shaky, and Danny didn’t need to breathe in his ghost form. “Did you find something?” Will asked urgently.
 “It's him,” Danny croaked, before putting a little more force in his words. “It’s him, Will. We found him.”
 Will has wanted to hear those words for the last three years. He wanted to laugh, he wanted to cry, he wanted to scream and dance and hug someone. They found him. After three long years they found him.
 Now they just had to get him out of there.
 “Pull back, Phantom,” he ordered. “We’ll have a better time of extracting him if we get rid of the obstacles in the way first.”
 “On it,” Danny responded. Will readied his trick arrows.
~~~~~
 Danny was reading when Roy woke up. He came to slowly, looking around the room first -checking for possible exit strategies- before his eyes fell on Danny. Danny could see a spark of recognition flash by before his face twisted in confusion. He glanced at his ring, then Danny, then did a double take at his lack of right arm. Panic rose in his face, so Danny put his hand over Roy’s, dragging his soulmate’s attention from his amputated limb back to Danny.
 “I know you want to freak out, but how ‘bout we explain a few things first, okay?” He suggested softly, to which Roy shakily agreed.
 With his other hand Danny snatched up his phone, sending a text to Will that Roy was awake. He ran into the room not five minutes later, followed by Oliver Queen, Roy’s mentor and -to Danny’s not so recent knowledge- Green Arrow. Ollie looked almost like he wanted to cry. Will just looked relieved, Danny could sympathize.
 He’s waited too long for this reunion.
 “Great, the whole gang’s here,” Roy quipped, drawing Danny’s attention back to him. “Now can someone tell me why Danny’s here, why there’s another me, and where the hell my arm went‽”
 Will and Ollie glanced at each other in uncertainty, unsure of where to start and how to let him know gently that he’s been asleep for six years. Danny scoffed, rolling his eyes as he gave Roy’s hand a pat and stood up to be next to the other two heroes.
 “Cowards,” he hissed at them before turning to face Roy, who was looking more than a little lost. “Well Roy, It's nice to finally see you again, now buckle up ‘cause this is one hell of a story.”
 ∆•∆•∆•∆
 Danny watched as the other two left the room, before turning back to Roy. For all intents and purposes he looked like a confused teenager that had just been told he was replaced for six years, but the ring on Danny’s finger was blazing with something hotter than confusion and loss.
 “I said I wanted some time alone, Danny,” Roy ground out. His acting was so clear Danny let a chuckle escape his throat as he sat back in his chair.
 “No luck Roy, I’m not leaving you this time.” A glare was shot his way from the boy on the bed, he brushed it off easily with a smile. “I’ve waited this long to be with you again, you really think I’ll leave you alone so you can ghost me?”
 Roy sneered, dropping the act entirely in favour of a glare so strong it would make Vlad quiver in his boots. “You can’t keep me here, not when Luthor needs a beating.”
 “Keep you here?” Danny chuckled, “who said anything about keeping you here? I want to go with you. If I can’t stop you from leaving I can at least make sure you don’t get yourself in another mess you can't get yourself out of.”
 Roy cocked his head, dropping the glare in favour of a confused look. “Danny, not that I don’t appreciate the sentiment, but you really think you can keep up?”
 Danny looked his soulmate over before he gave a sharp grin, exposing his fangs as he flashed his eyes to green. “If I could keep up with you but older for three years, I can keep up with you for as long as I want.”
 Only the book Danny was reading greeted Will and Ollie when they made their way back to the recovery room.

De Rolo Children Headcanons
Vesper- Vesper gained the intellectual side of both of her parents. She has an incredible knack for languages and speaks 5 by the time she’s 20. She’s got her fathers quick wit and her mothers intuition. She, like Vex, is smart with money. She’s devastating in a debate. In her free time she prefers more low stake activities though, usually reading or painting. She’s very close with Gwen despite the age difference and loves doing her hair and later her makeup.
Leona- Leona is her fathers child. She’s the one that gets Percy’s tinkering gene and love of science. She loves chemistry and making things. She’s much more of a tomboy than her two sisters and sometimes gets jealous of Gwen and Vespers relationship. She’s also the most stubborn and headstrong of the kids and it shows. She’s a bit of a hellion in her teen years. Oldest of the twins by a couple minutes and won’t let Wolfe forget it. Leona and Wolfe are close but not like Vex & Vax. They constantly bicker and play pranks on each other, but it’s a “no one picks on my twin but ME” kinda thing.
Wolfe- Acts much more like a Proper NobleTM than Leona. He’s much better at remembering all the little rules than her and tend to tease her at social events. Despite this he like hunting with his mother a lot and excels at archery. He’s very athletic in general but he sometimes struggles with his studies and gets insecure about not being as smart as his family.
Vax’ildan- His family calls him “Danny” for short. He’s the quietest of his siblings. He’s very intuitive and can usually get straight to the route of anything bothering his siblings and even his parents sometimes. He loves going out into the woods but he doesn’t really like killing the animals and actually ends up deciding to be a vegetarian, which his parents are understanding and happy to oblige. He and Vesper like to read book series together.
Gwendolyn- The sweetheart of the family, but not without her tricky side. She loves playing hide and seek in her siblings rooms and surprising them. She also loves playing dress up with Vespers things and having Vesper give her makeovers. She loves reading and plants and gets very excited when Auntie Keyleth visits. She’s more sensitive than her older siblings especially when it comes to her appearance or being “different” than the rest of her family. Percy and Vex are always quick to remind her she’s just as much their child as any of her siblings and absolutely beautiful. Even her siblings have agreed her being a teifling is off limits for teasing. Everyone in the family is a little extra protective of Gwen, which isn’t hard given she’s the youngest sibling by a lot. The age difference between her and Vesper is 11 years and 5 years between her and Danny.

Chapter 10 [FFN | AO3] of Forewarning
All Dipper knew was that there was something buried in some special thermos behind the shack; all Danny knew was that he had no idea how he’d gotten here.
Based off this artwork by @hashtag-art.
(beginning | previous)
-|-
Wendy was pretty sure that this time, gone in a blink of the eye wasn’t just a figure of speech. Danny had been in the room with the rest of them. Wendy had been looking at him.
Right up until the point that he simply hadn’t been there to look at.
He hadn’t acted like anything had changed, hadn’t given any indication that she could see that it was happening. He’d seemed touched by Mabel’s words, and she would’ve put money on him finding a way to badger Stan some more. He’d said he’d wanted to help (over and above delivering his warning, if she hadn’t misread that), and she’d believed him about that in the end.
And now he was gone.
No flash of light. No inexplicable breeze. No strange smell or taste of ozone on her tongue or anything like that. At most, Wendy could feel her the hairs on the back of her neck beginning to prickle, but that was less an indicator of the disappearance than a result from the suddenness of the disappearance itself—and the confirmation that, even if she still didn’t properly understand what he was despite his so-called explanation, he had definitely been something.
“Danny?” Mabel called as she twirled to see the room. “This is just a prank, right? You’re still here?”
“I don’t think so,” Dipper whispered, reaching out to catch Mabel and pull her to a stop. “He— He might’ve been summoned. Or something. We know that works.”
“But nobody knows to summon him!”
“The one who sent him here would.”
Mabel shook her head. “He’d give us some warning. He wouldn’t leave without saying goodbye.”
“That’s assuming he knew.” Stan’s voice was low, careful, and somehow resigned. “He didn’t know what else he was here to do, but I think it’s safe to say this was it.”
“But—”
“He did warn us,” Dipper said. “Kind of. His whole being here in the first place was a warning.” Dipper moved to the other side of Stan’s chair by the dinosaur skull where Danny had been seconds before and picked up the thermos the kid had been carrying around earlier. “Danny’s pretty sure this’ll work on more than just ghosts now. We’ve got another tool in case we need it for…for whatever else is coming.”
“Did he say something was coming?” Wendy asked.
“He thought it might be,” Dipper said. “He kept talking about portals and other dimensions and stuff, and” —Dipper looked over at Stan— “with your story about your brother, well, he might not be wrong.”
“I’m going to look for him,” Mabel said. “Just in case.”
“You shouldn’t go by yourself,” Soos said. He was already getting to his feet, but he didn’t look at Stan as he walked over to Mabel. “I’ll come with you. Dipper?”
“I—” Dipper glanced between Mabel and the journal Stan still held. “I’ll stay here. For all we know, Danny was summoned, and it might have been by whoever has the second journal, even if they don’t know they’re summoning Danny. I— I might be able to find a counter summoning or something.”
“You can go with Mabel,” Wendy said. “You guys might need that thermos. Stan and I will work on finding a countermeasure to whatever this is.”
Stan gave her a sharp look, but at least he didn’t contradict her, and Soos took Mabel and Dipper outside.
Wendy wasn’t sure what Soos was thinking right now—she wasn’t entirely sure how she felt about all of this, either—but she did know that this wasn’t all of it.
It couldn’t be all of it.
If she could pry answers out of Mr. Mystery here, she could fill in Soos later.
She waited a full ten seconds after hearing the front door close before speaking, though at Stan’s flinch when she did so, she figured he’d have preferred that she hadn’t spoken at all. “So what’s the rest of the story?”
Stan was still hunched over, his elbows on his knees as he held his head in his hands, but he raised his head to meet her gaze. He didn’t need to say how did you know? for her to be able to read it on his face.
“What didn’t you want to tell Dipper and Mabel?”
Stan grunted. “It was more Danny and whoever sent him here, assuming they don’t already know everything.”
“Which is so easy to believe when you’ve been telling us everything from the start.”
“You’re not going to let me wait so I don’t have to repeat myself?”
“I want the story now, not next summer. You have a better reason not to tell it?”
Stan sat back in his chair, his hands falling to rest on Dipper’s journal. “My brother was brilliant. He was also a fool. But he isn’t dead, and I’m going to get him back.”
“Yeah, you said everyone thought Stanley had died, but he really just disappeared or something. So?” When that didn’t elicit an immediate response, she added, “I’m not going to just drop this. This isn’t going to go away. If you want to have a hope of that, you need to spill. Now. Or you’ll just have all of us badgering you.”
He scrubbed a hand over his face. More likely than not, he knew full well she wasn’t bluffing. Good.
“Well?”
He picked up the book and lay a hand over its cover; the sixth golden finger was still easily visible. “Sixer wrote all this stuff. He’s the one who disappeared. But I’m Stanley.”
Wendy blinked. “What?”
“I’m Stan Pines, but I’m Stanley Pines, not Stanford Pines. After I lost Ford, I knew the only hope of getting him back was to stay here. Figure out how to rebuild everything from his notes. I couldn’t do that as the hack I was. I had to become the brother I’d always been compared to.”
The news was a bit disquieting, truthfully, but Wendy refused to let Stan see that. Instead, she scoffed. “You’re still a hack. I don’t see how that changes anything.”
He huffed out a laugh. “Sometimes, you gotta commit to the bit. Not like anyone in town thought anything of the change. Wasn’t as drastic as McGucket’s from their perspective.”
Wait.
“Old Man McGucket? That McGucket?”
“He helped Ford. And he…he noticed some things Ford didn’t, I think. Maybe too much. Either way, he hasn’t been any help to me.”
“If you needed help, why not at least talk to Soos, if you wouldn’t talk to me?”
“Because this is dangerous,” Stan said, giving the same old excuses as before. “McGucket was already involved, and I didn’t think things would get any worse for him. If anything, I thought they might get better. Turns out, I was wrong on both counts.”
Wendy frowned, not liking what that implied, but persisted anyway. “But you think Soos and I can’t handle anything that Gravity Falls can throw at us after growing up here?”
“This isn’t your garden-variety Gravity Falls weirdness,” was the flat response. “Now can we shelve the rest of this conversation until I can tell the others, too?”
“They’re out looking for the kid. They’re not coming back immediately. You think I want to give you even more time to figure out the best lie to tell us?” She didn’t bother trying to disguise the bitterness in her voice.
On one hand, she could see where he was coming from. He hadn’t wanted to rock the boat and risk changing everything by letting them in on a secret he’d kept for longer than she’d been alive. On the other hand, there would not be coded passages and reluctant messengers with warnings for them if whatever he still wasn’t spitting out wasn’t big and bad.
“I don’t want to lie to you. Not anymore. But I don’t want to go blabbing to anyone or anything that might be listening, either.” He looked back down and started flipping through Dipper’s journal. “Ford documented a lot of stuff in these things, and it ain’t all what it appears to be at first glance. And—” He broke off, his hand freezing as his fingers curled back from the open page.
Wendy didn’t have to be beside him to make out the large words scratched onto the page, the lines of the letters thick and uneven from repeated tracing.
TRUST NO ONE!
Wendy released a breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding. “We’ll get him back, you know. Your brother. If it’s possible, we’ll find a way to do it. It might be risky, but at least once you fill us all in, we’ll know the risks.”
“Here,” Stan said, holding out the journal. “You can start making things less risky by picking up where Dipper left off. Anything you find in there that’s marked as some kind of warding to keep us safe by keeping other stuff out, use it. I’m going to get my journal.”
Wendy didn’t move. “You think I’m going to let you out of my sight when I don’t know what you’re going to do?”
He pushed the book into her hands. “I think you’re going to do what you can to protect Dipper and Mabel because you’re a good person, and this is part of how we can do that. They’re my family. You and Soos— You’re like family, too. Putting you guys in danger is the last thing I want. You know too much now for lies to keep you safe, and telling the truth brings its own risks, so if we can strengthen whatever’s already been done to this place, we should do it. You don’t need any specific knowledge of the rest of this to get a start on that. Will you trust me enough to let me out of your sight for five minutes so I can get what I need to do my part?”
Wendy pursed her lips.
He was asking her to trust him after lying to her for as long as she’d known him, about both big and small things. Sure, she didn’t know everything that had led him to make the choices he’d made, but she knew enough to have a pretty good idea. And…and then there was his brother’s warning written there for all to see, a warning that even those who seem trustworthy enough may not be.
If their positions were reversed, she was certain he wouldn’t trust her.
He would understand if she threw this back in his face and gave him a flat refusal, telling him that broken trust had to be built up again and earned over time.
Wendy curled her hands around the book and hugged it to her chest. “Five minutes,” she said, “and then I’m coming to find you.”
Trust had to be earned, but it couldn’t be earned if chances weren’t given.
The flash of surprise and relief that crossed Stan’s face told her in no uncertain terms that he’d expected that refusal from her. He offered her a rare smile before he left the room, heading in the direction of the giftshop. His footsteps never told her that he’d changed direction, but the chime above the outside door never sounded.
Wendy checked her watched, and then she started looking through Dipper’s journal.
-|-
Soos welcomed the distraction of looking for Danny, even though he didn’t expect they’d find anything. How could you find someone who could disappear? Danny might not want to be found. If he did, he might reappear in front of them just as easily, like he must have on the road earlier today.
Mabel had grabbed the flashlights on their way out, and she led the way with her grappling hook in one hand and her flashlight in the other. Dipper dawdled behind, checking for things Mabel might have missed, and Soos trailed them both, watching them and the forest beyond more than he was looking for a missing kid.
He didn’t want this to be some ploy that would lead to more missing kids, but this was Gravity Falls.
It was good to be optimistic, but it was important to be realistic, too.
Now that it was dark, the things that liked to go bump in the night were even more liable to come out. Kids were the best targets, but Soos wasn’t foolish enough to think that age alone was going to protect him. The light they all carried would do more of that, and his keeping watch would hopefully do the rest.
With Mabel’s hollering, everything in the forest would know where they were. It wasn’t all bad—Soos knew that, too—but even though giving away their position like this was hardly ideal, he wasn’t going to tell her to stop. He didn’t know any other way to search for Danny, and Dipper’s plan of trying to summon him—Soos couldn’t quite suppress the shudder that ran through him at the thought that Danny, who had seemed like a nice enough kid, was something that could be summoned—had no guarantee of working, either.
If Dipper was right and whoever had the missing journal had summoned Danny, would a second summoning override the first? If Stan was right and the person who had sent Danny here had called him back, would a summoning be able to reach him, wherever he was now? If Danny had gone away on his own, was there some way he could resist the summoning if he didn’t want to come back? Was there a physical distance on that sort of thing or was that moot because it was more of a spiritual sort of thing?
Soos didn’t know the answer to any of those questions, but it was easier to think about them than to think about Stan. Mr. Mystery.
Mr. Mystery indeed.
Soos hadn’t known Stan half as well as he’d thought he had.
It shouldn’t feel like he was losing Stan somehow, like he was losing his father all over again, because Stan was still here, and he was still the same person. There was just more to him than Soos had first seen.
Just like there had been more to his dad than Soos had first seen.
There was more to them than Soos had ever seen.
The minutes slipped by, but Soos didn’t pay attention to the time. It had completely clouded over, and the darkness was as black as it would ever be. Mabel and Dipper took turns calling out Danny’s name and looking for whatever they thought they might find, and Soos kept them both in his sight at all times.
Dipper was the one to finally stop and reach out to grab his sister’s arm. “This isn’t going to work,” he said. “Either he can’t hear us or he isn’t coming.”
“He wouldn’t go without saying goodbye,” Mabel insisted. “We’re friends now. He wouldn’t just leave.”
“Grunkle Stan’s right. He might not have known.”
“Which means he might not have had a choice. So we should help him.”
“But what if we make it worse? I can try to summon him again, but if he finally got home—” Dipper broke off. “Going home was all he wanted to do since we released him.”
“But what if he didn’t go home? What if someone else has trapped him instead?”
Soos cleared his throat. “Might be a plan to head home and rest up either way. Finding out one way or the other isn’t something we can do out here.”
“Yeah, Soos’s right,” Dipper said, looking over to Mabel. “The summoning took a long time last time, and I don’t know how much longer I could’ve kept it up.”
“But you’ll try.”
“I’ll try. After I see if we can find a dismissal so I can send him back right away if he did make it home.”
“What about breaking the circle?”
“That leaves him here; it doesn’t send him back to wherever he was.”
“Come on,” Soos said, gesturing back towards the Mystery Shack with his flashlight. “The others will be wondering about us.”
“And they might’ve found something,” Mabel said, perking up again. “We should ask first.”
Soos wasn’t entirely convinced Wendy and Stan had been looking for anything that might help find Danny in their absence, but he wasn’t about to tell that to Mabel and Dipper.
Since Wendy had started working at the Mystery Shack, Soos had spent enough time with her to get to know her expressions. He was best when it came to deciphering the looks she’d give people—him or Stan or her other friends—and was still working on figuring out what she was really feeling, since he couldn’t always see through her masks. But this time, he had a pretty good idea about what she was feeling.
He imagined he was feeling exactly the same as she was.
It was a mess—and not a mix of emotions he liked.
He didn’t think Wendy got like that often, or at least she was good at hiding it if she did, but he knew she’d be looking for answers, and he thought she’d have a better chance at getting them than he did. It was hard for him to find the right words sometimes, especially when he was trying to get answers from someone like Stan. Stan was—
Stan meant enough to Soos that something like this hurt, and that made it harder for Soos to figure out how to say anything, let alone the right thing.
Was there a right thing to say in this kind of situation?
Soos didn’t even know where to start.
Until he could figure it out, keeping an eye on Dipper and Mabel was the best he could do.
-|-
Mabel ran ahead of them once the Mystery Shack was in sight, so she was calling out to Grunkle Stan and Wendy when Dipper walked through the door. Soos locked it behind them as Dipper went ahead, following Wendy’s call that they were in the living room.
The first thing Dipper noticed was that Wendy and Stan held books in their lap, and he was barely halfway across the room before he realized that it must be the second journal. The first journal. Whatever. It was another journal.
And his other grunkle was the author.
And they had to save him.
There would be an answer in the journals somewhere; Dipper was sure of it.
“We haven’t found anything on Danny,” Wendy was saying, “but we can look more tomorrow. For now, I added some more protection glyphs in chalk on all the doors and above all the windows so nothing else can get in here and steal someone away. In the meantime, Stan has something to say before Soos and I head out for the night.”
Stan grunted and closed the journal he was holding; Dipper caught sight of the number three emblazoned on the front and realized Wendy must be holding the coveted first journal. He edged closer to her as Soos walked past him to retake his old seat and Mabel sat on the floor by Grunkle Stan.
“Look, kids,” Stan said, and his gaze took in all of them, even Soos. “I didn’t say everything when Danny was here. I didn’t know what the kid might be obliged to report back to whoever sent him here, and I really didn’t like the idea of handing over information to someone trying to meddle in my life who won’t even show their face.”
“I don’t get it,” Mabel said, her face pulled into a rare frown. “What didn’t you tell us? Do you know where Grunkle Stanley disappeared to?”
Stan caught Dipper’s eye and looked pointedly to the floor.
Dipper sat.
“I’m your Grunkle Stanley,” Stan said. “It was your Grunkle Stanford who disappeared. Ford— Ford was a brilliant scientist. He’s the one who wrote these journals. None of that was a lie. But your grandpa thinks I’m Ford, not Stan, and I…encouraged that.”
Dipper was still trying to reorder the pieces of the story in his head with that new bit of information when Mabel asked, “Why?”
Stan reached down to ruffle her hair. “A few reasons, but some of the big ones were that I could do things here as Ford that I couldn’t as myself, I needed to be here in Gravity Falls to help him, and I couldn’t afford to have anyone sniffing around and trying to figure out what had happened when they didn’t know the half of it. He’d separated the journals by the time I got here—he gave me the last one—and the rest of his work was destroyed in an accident. I’ve been trying to rebuild it to get him back.”
Something in the back of Dipper’s mind that he hadn’t even realized didn’t fit suddenly clicked into place, and he said, “He’s in another dimension.” He looked at Mabel. “Remember what Danny said upstairs after he glitched? And then again when we were outside?”
She wrinkled her brow. “That thing about interdimensional safety?”
“And the consequences of the lack thereof,” Dipper finished. He looked back at Stan. “Grunkle Ford’s in another dimension. And you’re trying to build, what, some kind of door?”
Stan huffed out something that bore little resemblance to a laugh. “Doubt it’ll turn out pretty enough to be called a door, but it’ll be a portal, and I’ll make sure it gets the job done.”
Soos cleared his throat. “Where have you been doing all this? This portal thing sounds like something big. It can’t be easy to hide.”
“It’s in the basement.”
“This place doesn’t have a basement,” Dipper said before he had a chance to think about the words coming out of his mouth. “We looked around everywhere the first time it rained.”
But maybe they hadn’t looked everywhere.
They hadn’t known about any of this, after all, and neither had Soos or Wendy.
“Secret basement. Not all of Ford’s work was exactly legal. It wasn’t all exactly illegal, but he talks about scavenging some spaceship for parts in that thing,” Stan said, nodding at the journal held by Wendy, “and that’s not the kind of thing you want advertised.”
“Aliens are real?” Dipper asked, vaguely aware of Soos muttering an I knew it to Wendy. He wasn’t surprised about their existence so much as that there was a spaceship somewhere around here that he hadn’t seen and that no one was talking about.
Then again, this was Gravity Falls.
Not all the weird stuff was talked about, even when it was common knowledge.
 “They’re real enough to crash land somewhere around here and leave enough space metal behind for my brother to build his own gateway to other dimensions.” Stan pinched the bridge of his nose before resettling his glasses in place and saying, “Thing is, this portal, from what I can gather from my journal and yours— He didn’t come up with it entirely on his own. Something helped him, and I’d bet it’s something worse than Danny. And there’s a good chance that if we succeed in getting this up and running and getting Ford back, that something might find a way to get through, too.”
Dipper swallowed, feeling coldness spreading through his chest as the implications hit home. It wasn’t that he hadn’t thought about it. He had, especially since Mabel had told them her theory about Danny’s warning. But stopping something from getting through the portal and stopping something that had most definitely wanted the portal to be built from getting through were two very different things, especially if that something knew enough about the portal to know how it worked.
Especially if that something might be waiting.
A shiver ran through Mabel, and Dipper scooted over to sit beside her.
“We’ll be prepared,” Wendy said. “Whatever it is, we’ll be ready. We can do every protection spell or charm or whatever we can find, we’ve got that thermos thing Danny was carrying around, and we have the advantage of knowing something’s going to try to mess with us. Our odds could be worse.”
Dipper’s hands tightened around the thermos at her words, and he hoped it would work.
Mabel leaned into him and murmured, “What about Danny?”
“We’ll look again in the morning,” Dipper promised, “and see if we can find out what happened.”
He wasn’t sure if they would, though.
He wasn’t sure if they’d ever find out.
Maybe, if Danny had been summoned away by whoever had the second journal, he’d return once he was freed, or once they found whoever had it, but if he’d made it home?
If he’d made it home, Dipper wasn’t so sure they’d see him again.
“This has gotta be less dangerous if you’ve got more people to help watch out for things going wrong, Mr. Pines,” Soos said as Stan opened his mouth, and Dipper wondered if any of the others had paid attention to his aside with Mabel. Maybe not; next to saving Grunkle Ford, finding Danny might not seem that important. He’d delivered his message, after all.
Still, Dipper would rest easier if he knew. It was the not knowing that was hard.
It was, Dipper belatedly realized, exactly the sort of pain Stan must have been feeling about his brother all these years.
He couldn’t imagine losing Mabel and not knowing what had happened to her.
He didn’t want to imagine it.
“If we’re all doing our best and working together,” continued Soos, “that’s better than you going at it alone.”
Dipper was still watching Stan as his face softened at Soos’s words. “Yeah, you might be right about that. You guys have been right about a lot of things lately.” He took a measured breath, blew it out, and then said, “Soos, Wendy, you guys willing to call home and spend the night here? Filling you in on what I know and what I suspect is going to take a while.”

If you want to get into fanfiction you just have to accept that flanderization and popular fan interpretations of characters are something you're going to have to wade through even if you don't like them
I can understand the frustration of some people who get really into something (movie, book, show), and thus try and dive into fandom but then find that a considerable portion of fic has the characters being wildly out of character.
Especially if they find that an extremely popular fanon interpretation of a character, majorly conflicts with how said character is in canon.
For an easy example that's on my mind because it's the 20th anniversary of Danny Phantom, and also dannypocalypse.
Danny Fenton has a number of extremely flanderized fanon interpretations, which all conflict with who he is in canon, and the other fanon versions of him floating around.
A lot of fics will have Danny actually be just as much of a science/math genius as the rest of the Fenton family, and his bad grades are actually entirely due to the fact that he's too busy being Phantom to do anything related to school.
This directly contradicts with the show, which has more than one instance of Danny being so bad at math specifically, that it's completely valid to think he literally has dyscalculia.
Along with there literally being no evidence that Danny has any interest in math or any of the sciences beyond his desire to be an astronaut.
[Which when I learned the requirements for becoming an astronaut, I always thought Danny would be going the 1,000+ hours of pilot-in-command time on a jet aircraft route vs the degrees in a STEM field route. Considering how many hours he apparently put into the shuttle flight simulator already.]
A lot of fics will have Danny be a feral little gremlin kind of character, who does things like bites people, doesn't care how dirty he or his surroundings are, and will eat spoiled food.
Completely unlike Danny in the show. Who in spite of his weird smoothie experiments, refuses weird looking but completely edible food offered to him on more than one occasion. Along with his habit of vacuuming the walls when he cleans.
Then there's the whole Danny as the ghost king characterization, which has no basis in canon. Considering there isn't anything in canon that says the title is won by right of conquest, because we aren't given any information about how Pariah himself became the ghost king, or even if there were ghost kings before him.
Then there's the interpretation of Danny being too noble to use his powers for selfish gain, or commit crimes.
Even though in canon he uses his powers to prank Dash multiple times in the series with no repercussions for most of what he does. Along with being 100% willing to use his powers to cheat the haunted house contest, and also just straight up steal an ancient ghost artifact to make said haunted house scarier.
The thing about fanfiction is that characters are going to be different from what they're like in canon be default for a variety of reasons.
The author is changing the character to suit the story they wanna tell, the author is magnifying a canon trait of a character to explore it more, the author is inverting a character trait to see how that would change the rest of the character's story-
And 80 billion other variations of that idea.
Like I'm sorry if you turned to a bunch of hobbyist writers on the internet who write primarily for their own indulgence in search of more canon quality content, but you're not going to find it in 99.999999999999999% of fics you will ever find.
Sure you might find one specific fic or one specific writer, who you feels absolutely nails how a character acts in canon.
But also, not really, because your own perspective of how that character is supposed to act is tainted by your own opinions about that character.
Or for another example, if you go to the Miraculous fandom...
There's people who genuinely see Marinette as a kind of deranged stalker, and hate her to the point of wanting Adrien to end up with literally any other girl. Including the ones who want to use him for their own gain, like Lila, who doesn't even really like him romantically.
Because they hate Marinette, and want Marinette to suffer losing out to the girl she thinks is a bad person. More than they want Adrien to end up in a happy and functional relationship with a girl who would treat him well.
[Literally, I've seen Marinette haters insist Adrien needed to end up with either Lila or Chloe specifically, because Marinette approves of Kagami and willingly handed Adrien over to her. They want whoever Marinette likes the least to be who Adrien ends up with, even if he wouldn't be treated well by whoever that is.]
And there's people who genuinely see Marinette as the constant victim of unjustified cosmic karma, who would have solved the Hawkmoth thing and won over Adrien ages ago if it weren't for plot contrivances insisted upon by the writers. Who insist upon doing this to keep from solving the love square, to keep the will they/won't they plot going, which is one of the main focuses of the show.

Homebound 78
“It’s an empty box?” He asked, looking up at Izzy as if this were a cruel prank.
“It’s a signal blocker. I know you have that fancy keyless car, which are easy as hell for people to steal.”
“Oh! I never thought about that,” Stede said, standing so he could hug Izzy over the table. “How thoughtful of you! This is a wonderful gift!”
“Yo, check out my new hat!” Jack called, pointing to Izzy’s gift, which of course he’d already put on. “Not you ladies though!”
“I’m not your teacher anymore,” Izzy’s mom said, pulling his hand away so he could no longer block it. She chuckled before releasing his hand.
“What did it say, Hannah?” Kai asked, closing the book.
“Catchin’ bass and eating ass,” she laughed, “It has the Bass Pro logo.”
“That goes perfectly with my gift,” Ed said, pushing an unwrapped shirt toward Jack.
He unfolded it and held it up to his chest.
“I’m Guy Fieri and your ass is Flavortown?” Stede asked, tilting his head.
“It’s a show!” Ed whisper yelled, “Anyway, your gift was too awkward even if I wrapped it, Stede, so I have to get it from the closet. In the meantime.”
He passed around the rest of the presents. Izzy smiled at the silly gag gift Ed handed him, a Danny DeVito mug.
Ed hurried back with Stede’s gift, an old fashioned record player.
“Aw, you remembered,” he whispered.
“Everything sounds better on vinyl.”
Stede looked like he was going to cry. Izzy wasn’t really sure what they were talking about, but he gave them their moment.
“Alright, time for dinner.”
“Wait! I brought gifts too!” Jack said, standing up.
“You really didn’t have to do that, you’re a guest.” Kai argued even as Jack passed both of them new coffee mugs. “Thank you, Jack.”
“This is so nice. I’m going to use it for my sleepy time.” Izzy’s mom said with a smile.
“I’ll give the rest of you gifts later,” Jack said awkwardly. “I wouldn’t want to hold up dinner.”
“I too have gifts for everyone,” Stede said before either of the women could argue once again that they weren’t too old for whatever joke gift Jack had gotten for everyone else. “Hannah, Kai, I made both of these for you.”
“We took a silk dying class over the summer.” Ed explained, his mother touching the fabric very delicately. “Before we left Cali, he asked me what your favorite colors were so he could make you both a scarf.”
“How thoughtful, dear, thank you.”
“I know you’ve always loved silk,” Izzy’s mom said to Kai, leaning close so that they could feel each other’s new scarves. “This is lovely.”
“Here, this is for you, Izzy!”
“There better not be a tarantula in this,” Izzy rasped, drowning at the holes in the plain, brown box.
“Even better!” Stede declared, which wasn’t promising. Izzy opened the box very carefully.
It was a small cactus.
“You put a cactus in a box?” He teased.
“Well, I couldn’t just hand it to you! I’m not as cool as Ed, I have to wrap everything g. I put holes in it though, so it could breathe!”
“Stede, you’re so weird,” Ed said fondly.
“I got you something that you desperately need but won’t buy yourself,” he explained, handing him a perfectly wrapped gift.
Ed tore it open, revealing a daily planner. “I hate it.”
“You’re welcome,” Stede said, kissing his cheek before turning to Jack. “Sorry, I have to email you the code. I know that’s not very exciting, but I assure you, you will adore the gift I’ve purchased for you!”
“Alright, let me type my email into your phone.” Jack said, taking it as Kai got up to go get the latkes.

✨ Fenton Squad HC ✨
Dan (24): Sarcastic brother stuck in a 24 years old body forever. Love to annoy his younger siblings, especially Danny (they pay him back well). Would never ever admit that he likes and is protective of his pack. Always have the worse ideas to put themselves in troubles. Feral & dangerous but almost nice and sweet around his family.
Jazz (24): Have the Fenton’s braincell and refuse to share. Do her best to keep the rest of the pack out of troubles. Even if she doesn’t have ghost powers she is able to defend herself well and has the “big sister voice”, you better listen to her or she will scroll you to double death, the rest of the squad is scared of her when she is in this mode. Danny (23): Still one year left and you will reach Dan’s height and constitution boy. The last to have accept Dan in the gang, like to annoy him as revenge. Pranks wars and a lot of arguments/fights between those two, but deep down Danny warm up to him even if he won’t say it out loud. Try to somehow be more mature than Dan but is the first to follow his stupid ideas. Dani (22): Smol bean of the pack, will never grow anymore. The other care about her very much as the baby of the gang but she is technically the strongest of the squad since she could kicks Dan and Danny‘s asses easily (due to their inexperience to fight against a smaller and more agile opponent, plus her “turning goo“ ability make her hard to catch and hit). Is more mature than the boys but will follow them 85% of the time in their stupid shenanigans.

Danny Phantom Allies Headcanons
This headcanon is gonna be about the many characters from the series Danny Phantom and see what their relationship with Team Phantom would be in the series ranging from: ally, neutral, and enemy. I'm gonna split them into parts the first being ally, Enjoy.
Warning : Some character explanations will be super long, mentions of death, and other things rated PG-13.
Ally:
Maddie and Jack Fenton - Once Danny reveals his Danny Phantom, they couldn't believe it. The ghost boy they were hunting was their own son who they threaten to cut open to his face! They are filled with guilt, sadness, and angry at themselves for not seeing the signs to begin with. Danny says he forgives them, but they can't understand how he can look them in the face and say he still loves them after everything. After a long talk they reconcile and vow to be better parents to Danny, Jazz, and Dani once adopted. They still ghost hunt, but make sure the equipment can't harm Danny or Dani and cause less property damage to the relief of everyone.
Maurice and Angela Foley - The reason the Foley's allowed Tucker to still be friends with Tucker is because they feel bad for him (and Jazz). Tucker's parents know the Fentons are good people despite their obsession with ghost. But, their actions always ruined Danny and Jazz's reputation. Whenever Danny visits Mrs. Foley packs him dinner and snacks for him and Jazz. After finding out he was the ghost boy doesn't change a thing! So they get some ghost hunting gear from the Fentons to help Team Phantom from time -to -time. But, as parents they make sure they do their school work first before fighting crime.
Sidney Poindexter - Poindexter was the one who introduced us that Danny was a halfa, he possessed Danny something no other ghost thought to do, and during Reign Storm he spoke out against the other ghost haunting Amity Park. I really liked Poindexter's character but hated his episode. I hate in bullying episode when the main character tries to defend themself, they get in trouble and are called bullies. If I were to rewrite the episode, I would have Danny do what Tulip did for MT (aka Lake) and set Poindexter free from his mirror and away from the ghost version of Casper High. Once, free and Danny explains why he attacked Dash, Poindexter realizes how similar Danny's situation is to his. Both are bullied and unpopular with their peers, and Danny is looked down due to his parents' job occupation. Poindexter apologies and pulls a prank on Dash to even the score. I doubt Poindexter would stay in Amity Park let alone Casper High, so he'd probably travel and see how things changed since the 1950's. He still visits Team Phantom and can communicate to Danny through the mirror. I also believe he would be the reason Lunch Lady becomes an ally.
The Lunch Lady - She never does anything truly villainous; she was more furious that Sam changed the menu. I believe she knew Poindexter when he was a student and would comfort him and defend him from bullies. Likewise, Poindexter would help cook and clean in the kitchen with her. After, Poindexter was murdered (via being shoved in his locker by bullies), her health declined and later passed. Everyone thought it was high blood pressure due to her diet, but it was really a broken heart. During a fight with Danny, Poindexter pops in for a visit and the two recognize each other. Poindexter, would convince Lunch Lady that Danny and the rest of Team Phantom are his friends, and she would be so heart warmed that Poindexter finally has friends. How she becomes an ally is that Team Phantom is to convince her to also make dishes for people's dietary restrictions (such as peanut allergies, gluten-free, vegan, etc ) and Sam agrees that you can't control what people eat, but you can give options (like a salad bar or add vegan options to the regular menu). Afterwards, she would probably haunt food banks, homeless shelters, and community gardens to make sure everyone gets their fill and make sure food is produced right.
Cujo - Cujo never really means to cause harm he's just a puppy who wants to play! At some point he and the rest of the guard dogs came back to attack Axion Labs for "getting rid" of them. Danny the only reason they calmed down (via 'The Apology Song' from the 'Book of Life' style) and the guard dogs decide to rest in peace minus Cujo; at this point Danny gives up trying to put Cujo back in the Ghost Zone. Cujo then follows Danny around until Danny realizes Cujo wants to be his friend. It took a lot of convincing, but Jack and Maddie let Danny, Jazz, and Dani keep Cujo as a pet. Now that he's welcomed by the Fentons he's found the forever home he didn't have in life. I believe he used to play with a middle school Valerie before he was 'put down', Valerie has no memories of this until her dad brings up her visiting the guard dogs when she was younger.
Wulf - No Duh! Danny has helped his escaped Walker's clutches many times in the series. Whenever, Wulf visits Amity Park he always visits Team Phantom to catch up with the and fight bad guys.
Dora the Dragon Ghost - After, 'Beauty Marked' became an ally of Team Phantom, but honestly, she's closet to Sam and Poindexter out of everyone. Now as queen she introduces her people to new ideas, equality, and peace. During 'Reign Storm' she formed a friendship with Poindexter as they talked about their past lives (but I suspect she never told Poindexter that Aragon was still a tyrant in the Ghost Zone). Poindexter and Dora still hangout and consider each other best friends. When they get the chance Team Phantom visit Dora and teach her new things in the world and she teaches them how things were in her time. I can also see her becoming friends with Ember and Kitty.
Amorpho - After 'Forever Phantom' Amorpho still visits Amity Park from time to time. Whenever he sees Danny burnout from his duties he'll take his place to let Danny get some rest.
Pandora - Before returning her box Pandora had heard stories of Team Phantom protecting both the living and the dead world earning Pandora's respect like the heroes of old.
Box Ghost - I see him being an ally in the long run, especially if Lunch Lady and Poindexter are involved. Once, Box Lunch is born Danny becomes her main babysitter so that's another reason to bound.
Klemper - The guy just really wants some friends.
Frostbite - Can't have an ally list without him! Whenever Danny can't go to Clockwork dealing with issues of ghosts, humans, or his personal life he'll go to Frostbite. Danny also goes to Frostbite to learn about ghost culture and the Ghost Zone.
Valerie Gray - I was really disappointed that Valerie's story went unfinished - so here I go. After, finding out that Vlad was half-ghost she never tells him, but keeps a short distance in case he got suspicious. During another encounter with Phantom and Cujo at the Axion Labs, Valerie finds out that Cujo used to be a guard dog that was "put down" and that's why he haunts the Axion Lab in the first place. Upon knowing the truth Valerie confronts her dad's boss in front of the lab and her classmates (pretend it's another field trip or something) along with Phantom and Sam about how her dad was unjustly fired because they didn't have anti-ghost tech at the time and for "getting rid" of the guard dogs. Knowing he's in hot water for firing Mr. Gray and animal cruelty, the boss gives Damon his job back with all the perks. Valerie and her father can move back to Amity Park and the life they had, but don't. They move back to Amity Park, but their house is similar to Tucker and Danny's and now knowing the value of a dollar they don't spend too much. Back at school Valerie is not welcome back into the A-listers, they claim despite the fact she has money again and popularity rose a little she's been gone for so long she has loser-cooties, and they didn't room at the table. Later, Valerie connects the dots that Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom are the same person and Vlad used her to harm Danny. Valerie goes to confront Vlad about this and her plan to expose him, Vlad counters that if she exposes him, he'll expose her as the Red Hunter. Vlad goes on and explains that a majority of her classmates are Phantom's fans and if they found out she is the Red Hunter that antagonizes Phantom not only will her reputation be destroyed beyond repair so will her father's. Valerie has no choice but to remain silent, and Vlad uses this to reminder her not to mess with him! Team Phantom realizes Valerie is in distress, but she can't talk about it. Team Phantom realizes it's ghost related so Danny reveals himself as Danny Phantom and how he knew she was the Red Hunter the whole time. At first Valerie is hecka furious she could've killed him! Danny then explains how Vlad is after him, Dani being his clone, and Vlad trying to get with his mother, Valerie is more determined to stop Vlad. After, Vlad is exposed as a fraud (not as a halfa) he's banned from Amity Park, his friendship with Jack is ruined, and he can do no more harm to Danny or the rest of Team Phantom, Valerie is free. At first she thinks she is no longer needed and will be alone again, only to be proven wrong. Yes, it's a long road to forgiveness, but Valerie accepts it and becomes a member of Team Phantom.
Damon Gray - After finding out Danny's secret and getting his position back at Axion Damon does his best to cover and protect Team Phantom. He's mostly happy to see that Valerie has friends again, actual friends.
Dani Fenton/Phantom - After Danny reveals he's half- ghost to his parents he tells them about Dani, and they go out to find her. Once found they adopt her and accept her into the family. Not only does Dani have a place to stay she is now surrounded by family and friends.
Ida Manson - I believe after 'Control Freaks' Ida found out about Danny being Phantom, but kept it a secret until they were ready to tell her similar to what Jazz did. Ida usual covers for Team Phantom when they leave for long periods of time and makes sure they're properly rested and fed before and after missions. And if anybody to callout Danny Fenton or Phantom she's the first to defend him.
Mr.Lancer - Mr. Lancer was flabbergasted to find out his student was the town hero. It explained everything: failing classes, late for school, horried excuses, etc. Mr. Lancer was about to confront the Fentons until Danny and the rest of Team Phantom begged him not to tell. With all the crazy ghosthunters in Amity Park Mr. Lancer understood why it would be a bad idea to reveal Danny. He agrees but makes them swear if any threat human or ghost is too big for them, they'll come to him for help. He does ease up on punishments they receive and uses them as excuses for Team Phantom to rest and earn extra credit on schoolwork. He does his best to defend Danny, Fenton or Phantom whenever anyone tries to badmouth him.
Johnny 13 and Kitty - It took a while for to warm up to the group (mainly Danny and Jazz), but they prove themselves to excellent for Team Phantom. They did cause trouble for Danny, but they never really go out of their way to be malicious, they just want to be with each other! I always saw Johnny being an older brother to Danny with horrid dating advice (Danny never takes the advice) and Kitty being the older brother's girlfriend giving actual good dating advice. How they become an ally is that Johnny is once again flirting with some human girls and Kitty is so upset, she runaway. In a crying fit she ends up on the Fenton's roof, at first Danny thinks it's an attack until he sees how upset Kitty is. Danny sits down next to Kitty as she explains her situation with Johnny and even talks about how she died. Growing up she had friends, but her two best friends were just like her: rich, popular, and perfect. When, they got older Kitty wanted to try new and exciting things which her best friends didn't understand why. One day she fell in love with Johnny who her friends thought was low class and wasn't worth her time. After, graduation/ during a debutante ball their she wanted to hit the open road with Johnny and wanted her friends to come along. Then, a heated fight broke out, harsh words were said, and the friendship was over with. During the trip Kitty and Johnny died in a horrible crash and became ghost. Johnny arrives about to fight Danny because he thinks he's flirting with Kitty. Danny tells Johnny off about how Kitty told him how both died and how horrible he's been treating Kitty. To add insult to injury Danny says something along the lines of how Kitty gave up everything to be with him and how all he does is flirt around. Johnny realizes how must up he's been and apologizes to Kitty, she doesn't fully accept it, but wants to start couples therapy, then they leave Danny alone. Some time passes and the couple want to thank Danny for getting them to talk about their problems and bringing them together with the rest of Team Phantom and apologize for past troubles and how they died. Sam thinks how Kitty and Johnny sounds familiar, but brushes it off. Later on Ida (Sam's grandma) joins Team Phantom and the three regonize each other and the teens find out Kitty's friends were Pamela and Jeremy. Sam's shocked at first until she remebers her middle name 'Anna' was named after her parents' friend Katherine aka Kitty. Then Kitty and Johnny are like:
AW $#!+, we almost possessed our goddaughter and her boyfriend's sister!
They do apologize for almost possessing Jazz and Sam and possessing Paulina. Then cement themselves as members of Team Phantom and allow Danny to take breaks from fighting.
Clockwork - For ages Clockwork has watched over the human realm and the ghost realm and had seen its victories and tragedies. Sadly, he must remain a neutral party and despite the many twist and turns of the timeline the poorer of choices were always made. Then, Danny came. Despite being a child he would do everything to protect his loved ones and others. Before the Nasty Burger exploded Clockwork made the choice to be neutral no more and help Danny despite the consequences he would receive. Now, Clockwork is Danny and Dan Phantom's (Dark Danny) sole guardian. Danny knows he can't go to Clockwork for all his problems, but whenever something gets too big or Danny needs a good cry, Clockwork will be their.

I wanna talk about Agent F
nabbed some pics from this post because @monotype-on-phantom has a great collection of background characters (go check their 'background characters' tag for more excellent screenshots!)
but yeah guess what, School Kid 6 Agent F looks just as Definitely An Adult in the show as she does in the game gdksksbj
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
seems like she's good friends with Star
unfortunately she's also been at the school from the very beginning of the shows which makes the undercover GIW agent story a bit tricky since it pre-dates Phantom's presence
unless her purpose to begin with was to keep an eye on the Fenton kids because the GIW are super interested in the Fenton's work, and maybe they're interested to see if growing up around constant exposure to ectoplasm did anything weird to them
which would actually be super interesting because would she notice when Danny starts developing his powers if that's the kind of thing she's looking for? what if the GIW know that Danny suffers from some mild form of ecto-contamination and is a little Less Than Normal? what would make this super funny tho is if they still don't make the connection that he's Phantom
Wes figures out immediately that Agent F is clearly An Adult and at first suspects that she's an undercover cop (absolutely nobody believes him of course, like the fuck Wes that's Star's friend Felicia she can't be a cop)
but once the ghost shit starts happening and 'Felicia' starts casually pushing anti-ghost propaganda and she seems to know just a little Too Much about ghosts Wes is like 'hang on a minute you aren't a cop YOU'RE A GIW AGENT AREN'T YOU' and then he proceeds to spend the rest of his existence trying to convince her that Danny is Phantom
but she's just not having it, one she won't admit to him that she's GIW and she wants nothing more than to distance herself from this weirdo before he blows her cover, two she doesn't believe a ghost can also be a human, she thinks Danny might have some ghostly attributes but he doesn't set off her ghost radar (he only blips it from time to time which would be expected from someone who's ecto-contaminated), and also she's been watching this awkward geek all year and there's no way this kid could be Phantom
like he gets beaten up by Dash all the time, and he desperately wants to join the popular kids and be a part of that crowd, and keeping his identity a secret would be in opposition to that
also he doesn't flex his new superpowers for attention, he doesn't use them for anything (other than the occasional prank on Dash but he's smart enough to do that when nobody else is around), he doesn't use them to impress Paulina, he doesn't use them to get onto a sports team, he just doesn't use them to increase his popularity at all
an adult looking at this from the outside, an adult with preconceived notions on how dumb and impulsive teenagers are, could not believe that a teenage boy would be able to control that temptation
he's not Phantom, he's just mildly ecto-contaminated, possibly has some minor abilities he either can't control or doesn't realise he has, and that's about it, Phantom is just an ordinary unrelated ghost with no secret identity who just happens to look similar
besides, there have been depictions of Phantom throughout history, long before Danny was born, there were sightings of him at a university in the 80s, in ancient Rome, at the Salem witch trials, he was even found in a drawing from a boy's diary in the 1940s, the more they look the more they find artwork and stories of a being with his appearance or power, too many and too similar to be coincidence
unless Danny Fenton is somehow capable of time travel he couldn't possibly be Phantom

Last Man Standing pt 2
this is the Danny is the Only One in Class 2-A fic
----------
So it turned out Plus Ultra Style was absolutely fucking brutal.
Every day Danny went home, exhausted and drenched in sweat from his training with Aizawa. But man, he absolutely loved it. He loved all of it, really. He's never liked school because, as a quirkless kid, the whole world is biased against you. Some people just couldn't get past that little fact, and it had made school a living hell.
He should have known U.A. was different. He should have known all of his teachers were cool, and that they were so willing to help him with anything he needed. Aizawa even offered to set up appointments with Hound Dog for him if he ever needed to talk about his death. Nobody has ever done that for him before. It was like a breath of fresh air.
So it was no wonder when Jazz noticed. She went to U.A. too, but she was in the gen ed course looking to become a therapist specifically for heroes. She had always let him ramble when he was excited, but nowadays he found him doing just that on the train ride to school, up until he met up with his friends at the front gate.
He couldn't help the grin on his face as he slipped into his class, where Aizawa was already waiting for him.
-------
Aizawa watched as Danny went through the forms Aizawa had taught him. He caught onto hand-to-hand fighting like a fish to water, and it was really refreshing to see him thrive.
The kid had told him that he had died, and that's how he got his powers. Before, he was quirkless. It was a lot to take in-especially since he knew the kid wasn't lying or pulling some weird prank. It had taken everything in him to not be surprised by the news though. He didn't want to make Danny feel like he couldn't come to him. It would make class kind of awkward, all things considered.
Still, though.
The fact that the kid had died didn't sit right with him. Maybe it was because he was a kid, or maybe it was because he had admitted that he couldn't go to his parents about it (which was another can of worms Aizawa had to dig through eventually), but either way Aizawa wanted to be there for him in any way he could be.
Sometimes he wandered the cafeteria to get a glimpse of his one student, who nearly every day sat with a kid from the support course, and a goth girl in Mic's gen ed class. They looked like they would get into a lot of trouble together.
He had talked to the other teachers and with Danny's permission he told them everything Danny had told him. He was rather surprised the boy had, because he just seemed so closed the rest of the time. He's glad, though, because if he had gone in thinking he had had his quirk his whole life like the rest of them, he'd probably be teaching the kid a lot differently.
"Oh, I bet it was Sam that convinced him to do it," Mic had said one time. "She's the goth girl in my class-refuses to be called anything else. She's got a good head on her shoulders, though I need to talk to her about more advanced work. She's pretty fluent already in English."
"So is Danny," Aizawa told him. "His parents are apparently from America and they grew up learning it. She probably picked it up from him. Maybe you could teach him JSL or something, I don't think he knows that."
Mic had nodded with a grin and ran out of the room at the speed of light to go make a lesson plan.
All in all, though, Danny was doing pretty well. His grades hadn't been the best in middle school but Aizawa had a suspicion that it was more likely the school's fault. Whether it was falsifying grades or just making it a hard environment for Danny to learn in, he wasn't sure. Not like it really mattered, either, though.
But here in U.A. he thrived. He was a genius in disguise. All of his grades were great-his math and science being near perfect-and Aizawa felt like he was finally at the point where he could start going over strategy-work with him.
He was definitely going to need it for the Sports Festival that was next week.
