Demiromantic non-ace arospec culture is wishing we were more represented in the demiromantic community instead of demiromantics being assumed to be demisexual or asexual

I watched the asexual and aromantic communities get eaten away at by exclusionists and proto-TERFs and queer people making fun of microlabels and people who talked about how they just wanted all of us to stop dividing ourselves so much and people who decided that the concept of the Split Attraction Model was homophobic and people who flooded the ace and aro tags with porn and--
Well, you get the point.
But now a lot of people on this site don't know about ace culture and modern history, so here's some stuff you should know about:
The Asexuality Visibility and Education Network (AVEN) was started in 2001 by asexuality activist David Jay as a forum and educational space about asexuality.
A Carnival of Aces, which is a monthly blogging carnival on ace topics, has been taking place since May 2011 and has included such topics as coming out, non-traditional relationships styles and polyamory, asexual education (which I hosted), and labels and microlabels.
The Split Attraction Model is one model for talking about sexual and romantic orientation that splits out those two orientations, allowing individuals to describe sexual attraction/orientation as distinct from romantic orientation (e.g., aromantic bisexual, heteroromantic grey-asexual). While this model is primarily used by people on the ace and aro spectrums, it can be used by anyone who wants to discuss or describe sexual orientation as being separate from romantic orientation.
The AVEN triangle (or asexuality triangle) is a black and white or greyscale triangle that originated from taking the Kinsey scale and extending it down into another axis to address/acknowledge the range of attraction between what's on the Kinsey scale (allosexuality) and no sexual attraction (asexuality). It's generally presented as white at the horizontal line at the top and then black at the point at the bottom, often with a gradation of shades of grey down to the bottom.
Microlabels are specific (sometimes very narrow) labels for sexualities, romantic orientations, and genders. While these are not aro- or ace-specific, they were often associated with those communities because there was a culture of having nuanced conversations about narrow definitions, often by people couldn't find something that fit their experience in the standard L, G, B, or T lexicon. Demiromantic/demisexual, cupioromantic/cupiosexual, and quoiromantic/quoisexual are all examples of micro-labels.
The ace ring, a black ring worn on the middle finger of the right hand (generally) is a symbol of asexuality that some ace people wear. It originated on AVEN in 2005 when people were looking for a symbol that was rather covert.
Cake has also been an ace symbol, mostly from the idea that ace people agree that cake is better than sex. It used to be common to see a drawing of a cake with the ace flag colors.
The ace of (heart/spades/clubs/diamonds) has at times been used as a symbol for different ace spectrum/aro spectrum combinations. Ace of hearts is generally agreed on as alloromantic asexual and ace of spades as aromantic asexual (aroace or aro/ace). Ace of clubs is sometimes for grey-romantic asexual and ace of diamonds sometimes for demiromantic asexual, but those are less common.
Dragons were also associated with the ace community, at least on Tumblr. I'm less certain where this one came from (theories include that they're mythological creatures the way ace people are seen to be or that it's because there were headcanons that Charlie Weasley was ace).

ahem.
Demiro
Now wait, before you say...
Tumblr media
...hear me out. Im not even serious when i say this, but im like a huge joke to myself so its actually just self revelation in the guise of outrage-baiting the identity police (the anti-identitarian police? Theyre always just mad at specific identities; they dont hold some philosophical stance against identification, just how to identity/what its acceptable to identify as/what acceptable discourse around identity is) with snowflakery. My first thought after lol demiro, is, what does demiromantic even mean, i have an attachment disorder? Ok im killing the shrink in my head, its a reasonable signifier of an adaptive trait amounting to one facet of someone's identity. I mean we are out here labelling our degrees of romantic engagement. It's completely legitimate information for a dating profile, and because of facebook culture we are all, cross-platform, expected to inventory ourselves to some extent so that people can easily prejudge their level of interest in our content. (The different conventions followed are themselves biographical--does your twitter bio read like a business card, a webadmin sig, is it a bunch of emojis, a string of credentials, a microarray of party affiliations? Minority status report, fandom bingo sheet, quoted poetry? Larper resume? Astrology chart? No matter which one it is, the other details fill themselves in from there, dont they watson.
I got off topic)
I do wonder how useful that information is tho, demiro, like im back to my question of what does that even mean--to anyone? It could really only be relevant to someone who's trying to date me, its not particularly relevant to me because its not really something im heavily invested in as a question, how willing or able i am to engage in romantic attachment. It's an errant thought "what if for a giggle i identified as demiro like thats an immediately comprehensible term--and even if it is immediately taken for its intended meaning, doesnt that level of context only serve to beg some perplexity or mystification as to why?" Doesnt it beg the questions ive asked? Like even if you immediately get that its of an ilk to aro, as demi is to ace...i imagine youre still saying fuck is this shit
....unless youre someone who uses the demiromantic tag? Jesus it autosuggested it, theyre out here. Im not tagging it. I bet theyre serious.
I literally do not know how i would go about inventorying whether im fully romantic or not. I feel like im way more romantic than most real world examples i see but i also fall short of my own sense of being one hundo non-aro. Being poly i have this tendency to split attention and even when i have a primary partner im not like fully or exclusively attuned to them and that interferes with my ability to attune to them as needed, to the extent or at the times necessary. And i let it...because im more concerned about the repercussions of having all my emotions invested in one person it might not work out with, than i am uncomfortable with the distance that creates for people who sense that if i was fully romantically engaged in them individually, i would be more attuned to their needs, preferences etc. I think ive been in a successive withdrawing away from "codependency" over the course of my primary romantic partnerships and attachments, that its a learned response that probably even produced neuroanatomical changes that would have been minutely perceptible if finely measured over time. Of course it would be so impossible to parse those trimmings, junctions and formations from all the other shit i do thats producing changes. I heard drinking kills brains cells. And ive smokened a bowl or twain...

Edit like a month later: I’ve found a carrd of like every culture blog ever here by @bag-of-queer-musketeers, and a google doc here. But I will keep updating this list just because it helps me keep track of stuff.

Welcome!
This is another culture blog. This time for fluidflux people!
What is fluidflux?
Fluidflux is like a combination of genderfluid and genderflux. It is a gender, in which someone's gender changes while also varying in intensity.
Please start every submission with "fluidflux culture is" or a variation like "ace fluidflux culture is"
I don't do DNI's, just be respectful and a decent human being.
My name is Alex or L. I mainly go by they/them pronouns but I'm comfortable with any neutral ones.
English is not my first language, so I apologize for my mistakes.
Some blogs that inspired this:

🌸Bienvenue tout le monde! 🌸
This blog is for trans* and non-binary and genderqueer and cisn’t people who are aegoromantic (aego-aro) and/or aegosexual (aego-ace)
This blog is also for trans, enby, genderqueer self-shippers!
(I just genuinely didn’t know how to put that short and to the point with in the URL)
Rules:
Please begin asks/submissions with something along the pattern of “trans aegoromantic culture is” “cisn’t aegosexual demiromantic culture is” “genderqueer sex-repulsed aegosexual culture is” “non-binary asexual self-shipper culture is” “trans fem aegoromantic self-shipper culture is” “trans masc sex-repulsed aegosexual culture is”
NSFW asks will be approved on a case-by-case principle but are allowed
Kink asks (be they sexual or not) will be approved on a case-by-case principle but are allowed
Referring to your sex-/romance-repulsion is allowed and welcomed
If you reference anatomy or genitalia, please put a quick “TW” at the top of your submission/ask
This is a space open and welcoming to: anyone aro-spec, anyone ace-spec, anyone aego-rose, non-dysphoric trans people, trans people who choose not to transition, aro/ace/trans/enby self-shippers, aro/ace/trans/enby pro-shippers, etc.
Anti-shippers may stay if they play nice and don’t start getting offensive. Shipping in itself is harmless.
Another shipping positive aro/ace/qpr blog. Ksier post actually includes several further links explaining how/why shipping is in itself harmless and why AO3 is not only Beloved™️ but also sorely needed, a safe haven for creatives.
Also: if you are a TERF, TIRF, truscum, transphobe, transandrophobe, transmisogynist, enbyphobe, exorsexist, radfem… If you think trans masculine people hold any power or privilege over trans feminine people by virtue of being trans masculine. Or otherwise believe trans masculine people aren’t oppressed.
If you think trans people in general are only valid if they seek medical transition.
Then this blog isn’t for you, even if you are an aroace trans person yourself. You can fuck right off! Be a nice piece of trash and show yourself out!
About me…?
I’m older than 21.
I am a pro-shipper.
I am oriented aroace.
I am aegosexual.
I am a survivor of sexualised abuse. (a rape survivor)
As far as my gender goes… I am agender-genderqueer.
Aside from agender-genderqueer, I am mingender/miagender, masculenby, libramasculine, transneutral.
In case you want to address me: You may call me Azalea or Leonard (he/they)

Whump culture is ...
Absolutely shamelessly taking inspiration from @oc-culture, @lgbtqcultureis, @ace-culture-is and @demigirl-culture-is and starting our own “culture is” and positivity blog for whump.
Definition of whump according to the urban dictionary:
Taking a character and putting them through physical and/or mental torment and is typically followed by the same character being treated for their traumas.

Welcome to the new @anxiety-culture-is blog!
(Ask Box Currently Closed!)
Hello Hello!! Heh this is another ____-Culture-Is blog. I’ve been inspired by many others and wanted to run one myself!
While you are here, lets get acquainted!
What Exactly Is This Blog?
This blog is for anyone with anxiety, diagnosed or not, to come together to create a nice space on tumblr. I’ve learned it’s nice to have people that can relate to you. This blog should hopefully accomplish that!
This blog works similarly to other ____-culture-is blogs. Submit a post or ask starting with something along the lines of “anxiety culture is” and then what you want to write out. That’s what I’ll mainly post, but I don’t mind some chit chat from time to time too!
Rules
What would this be without a few rules?
This needs to be a kind and supporting space. Bullying and making fun of people in a post/bullying a post is not tolerated whatsoever. Users will be blocked who fail to comply to this.
Anything that touches on sensitive topics should have a warning at the top for other readers. Ex. “Warning:“ “Tw:“
One of my biggest triggers is topics that mention or have have blood in them. Anything with blood within the ask, please please put a warning. I will read it, but make sure to put a warning, as I need one for myself.
Homophobia, Transphobia, Aphobia, and other hateful people who target the LGBTQIA+ community are not permitted here either. Hate towards the community is not tolerated.
Racism or discrimination to people of any race, ethnicity, and religion/personally beliefs are not tolerated
The selling of drugs or anything that probably would not follow Tumblr’s guidelines is prohibited.
I am a minor so please keep any NSFW content away from my blog. Thank you
I want to help support the well-being of people who do suffer from anxiety. Once again be polite to other people.
Who Is The Mysterious Person Running This Blog?
Hey there! One person runs this blog and that’s me! I’m Mod Everly. You can call me Everly, Ever, Ev, or a similar variation of my name, I’ve heard quite a few. I am a minor (if my age bothers you, I apologize). My pronouns are she/her, and I’m Ace and Demiromantic. I suffer from anxiety and depression but I get by day by day.
Anxiety discord server: Discord
——————————————————————————
!Important!
Please note! I am not a medical professional. I can not give medical help or therapy to people with anxiety. I merely want to be a supportive person to people who do have anxiety, and is willing to share my experiences with it. I can not give help to people with this condition but I highly suggest that these people do receive help from a medical professional if they need it.

What is a grayaroace??
I guess this came up since it's on my personal info post - I'll gladly give a simple overview
Just to fully break this down for everyone in case someone hasn't ever heard this term/parts of this term..
This is going to be a rather simple info post, so I'll attach a few resources here and there if you want to further explore the various labels.
Aromanticism
Aro, or aromantic, is an umbrella term and as defined by the LGBTA Wiki is "a romantic orientation defined by a lack of romantic attraction"
This does NOT mean that aromantic people or people who exist on the aromantic spectrum are love- or emotionless. They can still feel and experience love in various forms.
People under the aro umbrella, can still be sexually attracted to others.
People who do not exist under the aromantic umbrella are alloromantics
Resources:
@aromantic-official
@aro-culture-is
Asexuality
Ace, or a asexual, as defined by the LGBTA Wiki is "a sexual orientation defined by a lack of sexual attraction"
People under the ace umbrella, can still be romantically attracted to others.
People who do not exist under the asexual umbrella, are called allosexuals
Resources:
@asexual-society
@ace-culture-is
---
Being aromantic and/or asexual is does not need to be a binary thing, it doesn't have to be all or nothing. Being either/or can be an experience that exists on a spectrum. There are many sub-labels
E.g. (THIS IS A NON-EXHAUSTIVE LIST)
- Aroace, when you identify with both the aro AND ace labels
- Grayaro, a general term for being on the aromantic spectrum
- Grayace, a general term for being on the asexual spectrum
- Grayaroace, general term for being on the aro AND ace spectrum
- Demiaro, "a romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum defined as someone who does not experience romantic attraction until they have formed a deep emotional connection with someone"
- Demiace, "a sexual orientation on the asexual spectrum defined as someone who does not experience sexual attraction until they have formed a deep emotional connection with someone "
- Demiaroace, BOTH demiro and demiace
ETC.
---
I hope I've covered the basic info about the labels.
I personally ID as grayaroace (I also use demiaroace, but I like to keep it more vague just because of how much it really fluctuates)

One of the only things I appreciate about Thomas Astruc is that he did say Alix is “rather aro” in one of his tweets? I wish/hope the show will acknowledge it though. I try and keep her on the aro spectrum kinda when writing her? Out of my dying respect for canon? I think Demiromantic is part of the aro spectrum?
This is also why I'm hesitant to ship Alix with anyone, I'm still learning about both Aro and Ace culture and understanding. (Repressed childhood huzzah) but at the same time I know Aro and Ace people can still be in relationships if they choose, they're just more one sided for the partner.
I think Demi is also in the Aro/Ace areas but I'm not fully educated there just yet (not saying it's not, just that I don't know) but on another note there is nothing physically stopping us from doing the things non-Aro/Ace people do. We just lack the means to connect in that way, so most choose not to for their own reasons.
I agree that I also wished they acknowledged it more, also on Max supposedly being Ace too.

Zek’s Master Course on Ace and Aro Culture
I’m not the eldest member of the asexual or aromantic communities, far from it. I’ve been interacting with these communities since around 2017, when I created my AVEN account. Even so, I’ve seen that some parts of aro and ace culture have been falling into obscurity, at least here on Tumblr. This was first brought to my attention by @sepulchritude‘s post about the ace black ring, and then again by @what-even-is-thiss‘s post about card suits.
it would be a shame if these pieces of our culture would disappear from general knowledge. That’s why I decided to put together this list of ace and aro culture that I remember from my first days at AVEN. This way I hope to preserve our culture and perhaps inspire newcomers to the community by showing them some of our roots.
So here’s my little list of aro and ace culture, starting with the big two who benan this whole thing, the black ace ring and the card suits.
Asexual and Aromantic Rings
A subtle way to display one’s asexuality to anyone who knows what to look for is by wearing a black ring on the right middle finger, or an Ace Ring. The ring not only broadcasts to other aces around you that you are a member of the community but it’s also subtle enough so other people don’t recognize it. Since much of the asexual community was created online, trough the forums at AVEN and other sites like Tumblr, many aces can feel disconnected from the community whilst in meatspace (not online), so the ring becomes a way to remain connected even while offline.
The idea the ace ring started on a 2005 AVEN thread by user Rawphish about ways to display one’s asexuality to the world. It’s very intresting to look at the thread and see where the current configuration of the ring came from, from the design and colour to the discussion of which finger to wear it on. A neat piece of ace history.
In a similar fashion, aromantics can wear a white ring to symbolize their connection with the aromantic community. I couldn’t track down the origin of the aro ring as easily as the ace one, but I found this 2014 post from @ace-aro-pirates that discusses the implementation of the ring.
Tumblr media
Playing Card Suits
Everyone knows we aces are very punny by nature. Using puns to identify our asexual conditions is just a natural course of actions. And since the word “ace” already can be used as a playing card pun, it was decided to use card suits to define where ace people fall on the aromantic spectrum. It goes like this:
♠ Spades: Aromantic Asexual
♡ Hearts: Alloromantic Asexual
♢ Diamonds: Demiromantic or Greyromantic Asexual
♣ Clubs: Questioning Asexual
Tumblr media
Queerplatonic Relationships and Zuchinni
According to Aromantics Wiki, a queerplatonic relationship (QPR) is a kind of relationship that “is more intense and intimate than what most people regard as a friendship, not fitting the traditional romantic couple model or the traditional bounds of friendship. It can be characterized by a strong bond, affect, and emotional commitment not regarded by those involved as something beyond a friendship.” QPRs are platonic relationships, typically having no romantic, sexual or erotic components, however some people involved in light or non-traditional romantic relationships can caracterize themselves as in a QPR.
The “default” term for members of a QPR  is “Queerplatonic Partner” or QPP. The word “Zuchinni” can also be used as an affectionate nickname for your QPP (as in “they’re my zuchinni”). The origin of the term zuchinni comes from a joke on the aroace community, where people were frustrated with the lack of words to defint these kinds of relationships so they just chose something that would be silly and unconventional, and it ended up stucking. And, in my personal oppinion, it’s a really cute term.
Aromantics Wiki entry on Queerplatonic Relationships
Tumblr media
Squish
A squish is like a crush, only platonic. It represents a wish to become platonically close to someone, becoming their friend or the like. It’s a platonic attraction towards someone.
Asexy
This is a funny one that i don’t see being used in a long time. Saying someone is asexy is saying you find them attractive in a non-sexual way. It may be aestethically, intelectually, due to their personality, or for any other reason. It may be that you have a squish on them.
Asexual and Aromantic Flags
I guess everyone knows what the asexual flag looks like, this little masterpiece:
Tumblr media
Seriously it’s so pretty.
But do people know what the different coloured stripes mean? I didn’t until recently. So let’s have a look:
Black represents asexuality, lack of sexual attraction.
Grey represents greysexuality and the asexual spectrum, all the space between asexuality and allosexuality.
White represents allosexuality, or the lack of the lack of sexual attraction, if you want to be complicated.
Purple represents the community. The asexual community is such an important part of many asexuals’ lives that it gets a whole colour of its own!
And just like the ace flag, the aro one is also pretty well known, and also very pretty.
Tumblr media
Its meaning goes as follows:
Dark Green represents aromanticism, or lack of romantic attraction.
Light Green represents the aromantic spectrum.
White represents platonic and aesthetic attraction, as well as queer/quasi platonic relationships.
Grey represents greyromanticism and demiromanticism.
Black represents the sexuality spectrum.
Ace Symbols
Besides the flag and ring, asexuality has a couple other symbols related to it, albeit in a smaller scale.
Cake (and baking in general) because everyone knows cake is better than sex.
Unicrons because they supposetly are not real, transforming the aphobic notion that asexuality is not real to give us all a badass magical horned horse as a mascot.
Dragons, same as above, but even more badass!
Amoebas because they reproduce asexually (although not the same kind of asexuality). The term “amoeba” was actually used by the first asexuals to define themselves in the early days of the community before the term “ace” was created. (vide the 1997 article My Life as an Amoeba by Zoe O’reilly)
Okay this will do from me for now. Feel free to add any piece of aro or ace culture you think is missing. Cheers folks!

A-Spec Experiences of Relationships
I came across an excellent research article today that I want to share with you all. It’s by Phillip L. Hammack, David M. Frost, and Sam D. Hughes: Queer Intimacies: A New Paradigm for the Study of Relationship Diversity. It came out in 2018 and you can view the abstract summary here. For a full copy, you can contact any of the lead researchers or you can send me a private message (PM) and I can hook you up. I have access to the journal in which the article is published via my university.
The article talks about a number of queer identities and how queer relationships subvert the relationship norms in Western societies. They included a section on Asexual and Aromantic people and what they had to say really resonated with me.
“The fifth axiom of a queer paradigm for the study of relationship diversity is that intimacy may occur in the absence or limited experience of both sexual or romantic desire.”
The authors make clear that, regardless of your a-spec identity, you may still engage in relationships (including romantic, sexual, “close relationships that resemble friendships” which I took to mean QP or alterous or otherwise distinct relationships). They support this notion with documented evidence from studies on asexual people as well as with theory.
Intimacy isn’t predicated on sexual and/or romantic attraction. Behaviour and orientation are fundamentally different things and this piece of literature really makes that clear.
Nevertheless, intimacy is fundamentally different for aces, for aros, for queer folks, because our definitions and practices of intimacy challenge sociocultural intimacy norms.
On aces and their experiences with intimacy:
- Several studies have concluded that asexual-identified people are less likely to report being currently involved in an intimate relationship than sexual people (Bogaert, 2004; Yule, Brotto, & Gorzalka, 2014), but at least one study has not been able to replicate this finding (Prause & Graham, 2007).
- Over half of asexual people surveyed in the Asexual Census reported having been in a significant relationship, but not all of them reported that this relationship was a romantic one. In fact, over 34% of people surveyed specified that their significant relationship was not romantic (Ace Community Survey Team, 2018).
- Most asexual people’s partners seem to be non-ace, with a small minority (about 13%) being ace partnerships (Ace Community Survey Team, 2018).
- Almost 13% of asexual people surveyed identify as polyamorous (Ace Community Survey Team, 2018).
- Van Houdenhove, Gijs, T’Sjoen, and Enzlin (2015) found that asexual men were more likely to be single than asexual women, while Prause and Graham (2007) and MacNeela and Murphy (2015) did not find gender differences in reported relationship status.
- Some asexual people have found that BDSM-oriented relationships have provided them with tools to negotiate and demarcate the boundaries in their relationships, as well as to reject and change dominant scripts of sexual behavior (Sloan, 2015). By organizing these relationships around consensual BDSM, some asexuals have found the ability to experience intense forms of nonsexual intimacy.
- Others have found that engaging in the community of people who also identify on the asexual spectrum has provided them with the language to “make sense” of their relationships and desires (Chasin, 2015).
- Other research has cited coming out to partners as a strategy to manage sexual conflicts, although the dissolution of those relationships has sometimes been a consequence of coming out (Robbins et al., 2016).
On aros and their experiences with intimacy:
- Aromantic people find the value of friendships and other relationships bigger than that of romantic relationships and that those bonds are better suited to their needs. (1) (2) Most also agree that they experience distress in romantic relationships and that they noticed a discrepancy between their and their partner’s behavior or feelings in romantic relationships (1).
- Aromantic people that aren’t asexual agree that a “friends with benefits” arrangement would be a good one for them (1).
- Greyromantic and broadly aro-spec people agree that they’re more concerned about being unwanted or alone, than they are about being single. They agree that they want friendship more than romance and that the activities they like can be enjoyed with friends as well as with a romantic partners. They also believe that relationships other than romantic, such as queerplatonic relationships, are better suited to their needs. Most also don’t want to pursue a romantic relationship, but they don’t like the idea of being single (1).
- Demiromantic, quoiromantic, and broadly aro-spec people agree that they are bothered by the thought of being unwanted or alone. The answers indicate that they enjoy activities with their friends and that their criteria for a romantic partner (if they choose to pursue one) are the same as for a friend (1).
- Aromantic people seem to be either as affectionate or more affectionate with their friends as compared to their alloromantic peers (2).
- Many aromantic people wish for cohabitation and marriage benefits in a platonic way/without the ‘romantic’ parts attached to them (2).
- Many aromantic people (about 50%) worry a lot about whether their high levels of intimacy in platonic relationships will be reciprocated by their friends. There seems to be a collective fear of abandonment or lack of importance being given to platonic relationships, all in favour of romantic relationships (2).
- Most aromantic people seem to define friendship differently than their alloromantic peers do, citing that they are slower to call someone a friend and/or consider friendships to be deeper emotionally than the average alloromantic does (2).
- Just over 25% of respondents to a recent survey I ran revealed that they considered themselves polyamorous (3).
- A survey was just run by @aroace-people-are-lgtbq about aros’ views on romance, and we don’t have results yet, but when we do, I think they will contribute enormously to this topic. I’ll update this post when I see what’s what.
Further research needed and some Action Items for the Community:
- Examine gender differences, especially beyond the binary of male–female. How do gender expectations/roles play a part in intimacy and relationship expectations?
- Related to the above, what distinctions exist in the experience or expression of asexuality or aromanticism across diverse gender, race, class, and sexual identities? I would also add religion to this area. We have a number of blogs on here who blog specifically about Aro and Ace POC, for example, who I think could contribute a lot to this topic by voicing their experiences. Christina Lang’s BA thesis covering her experiences as an aroace woman of colour is a great resource.
- What diverse forms of asexual and aromantic intimacies exist? To an extent, we have identified a lot of these in our personal intracommunity discussions. It would be great to catalogue people’s different experiences with intimacy and with relationships into a single masterpost or article.
- How do individuals make meaning of these relationships in a cultural context that privileges sex and romance? Again, we have discussed this within our communities a lot. Resources and masterposts about relationship anarchy and conversations about relationships and positivity would be useful to create.
- There is some overlap between [non-amorous] aro experiences and experiences of singles; however, these are fundamentally two different groups and there is a need for research on aros specifically.
- How do partners in asexual or aromantic relationships navigate stigma from multiple sources, including sexual and gender identity minority communities?
