ok so i used to have HORRIBLE social anxiety and i think that the contrast between me with social anxiety and me now is INSANE. in a good way ofc. so im not going to talk about how i overcame social anxiety, instead im going to talk about how i created a social life ✨

MAKING FRIENDS ;

the science of making friends is simple and im about to explain it. so go to where there are ppl that u can relate to/want to relate to. example being school, clubs, etc.

next, observe who u want to befriend and make sure to start with a compliment. starting off by introducing urself just makes for an awkward conversation but starting with a compliment puts u and the other party at ease.

something thats rly important is ur CHARISMA and ur magnetic energy so be CHARMING ✨ if u find that the other party is not reciprocating its either they're uncomfy, uninterested, or just a weirdo. and in all cases, you should stop.

MAKING FRIENDS THRU FRIENDS ;

make friends with your friends friends -> make friends with their friends -> and so on and so forth. this is how you network and create a friendly status with lots of people.

if ur in a school setting like i am, make friends with people in ur own grade or in a higher up grade, i dont usually make friends with ppl in lower grades but ofc there are always exceptions.

making friends through friends is how u get invited to parties, have more opportunities be available to you, and ofc network for more connections. guys connections are literally EVERYTHING.

MAKE TIME FOR UR FRIENDS ;

make sure to learn who u call friends. when is their birthday? do they have specific preferences? what kind of music do they listen to? knowing ur friends makes them feel special and thats how u learn to be a good friend. i can make a whole POST about being a good friend cuz i've learned and grown so much with that.

THE POWER OF A COMPLIMENT ;

make it ur mission to give a compliment everyday cuz first off, being nice is HOT so pls be nice and second of all, if ur trying to talk to someone and u start with a compliment i promise that it'll go so much better.

if ur thinking "thats so awkward how will i do that" then the category dont be shy is one that u gotta read cuz girl 💀. if u need an example i'll provide one from my own experience so u can see the power of a compliment.

there was this girl in my spanish class and i always thought that she was so pretty and she seemed so nice. one day we bump into each other in the bathroom and i compliment her hair and makeup, she responds well. we continue to have friendly interactions throughout the rest of the school year and now we are good friends on and off campus.

DONT BE SHY ;

when u make friends please please PLEASE work on ur confidence first. you need to be SURE of yourself. if not, when ur being friendly it could come off as desperation and ppl will humiliate, make fun of and take advantage of u. and thats NOT hot.

be CONFIDENT, you literally have nothing to lose. when u shed ur shyness (thru things like exposure therapy etc) a whole new world is opened up for u bcuz sometimes the only thing holding u back is urself and ur limiting beliefs about urself.

The Seven Deadly Sins if they were in a zombie apocalypse

So this is an AU, so none of their normal powers and shit, JUST ZOMBIEESS!

Meliodas: He's a 29-year-old military officer. Oldest of the group and the leader. He has that PTSD from the war he served in. A survivalist, the only one who has like "experience" in situations similar to a zombie apocalypse. Kinda like the dad, keeping everyone in check.

Elizabeth: A 26 year old nurse. Of course the medic, always gotta bandage everyone up. Totally the mom of the group. Can't fight at all though so she needs protecting. Meliodas and her definitely met when the outbreak started then later the others joined.

Diane: She's a 24 year old dancer. The others were super surprised when she boxes a zombie right in the face. Meliodas saved her and she fell in love with him, later though she falls for King. Can't really do anything except fight. But she's always happy so it keeps everyone from going depresso expresso.

Ban: 27 year old theif (yes theif) He stole kings wallet the first time they met. He and king from that point on cannot stop arguing, they are literally a walking zombie alert. So the others shuts them up on a daily basis. Steals alot of supplies from random people (and King ofc) that the group meet. Tried to steal Merlin's shit once and let's just say it didn't end well. He's the chef and cooks all the food.

King: 28 year old Botanist. He's the only one who can actually grow crops. Ban and Melidodas once tried to spray "special plant growth" on Kings crops, turns out it was just poison and all the plants died. Since then no one gets to touch his crops. He can't fight for shit though.

Gowther: A 23 year old computer programmer. The group just kinda found him wandering on the street and took him in. 100% autistic ofc, but we all know that. Him and Merlin are besties (totally not projecting what I wanted to happen in canon) He helps her with all her science shit. Knows alot of weird random facts that he just starts rambling about. In the middle of a fight with zombies "did you know Australia is wider than the moon?" Cut to King almost dying. Can fight but doesn't cause he says his nails will get dirty ✨

Merlin: 25 year old chemist. (Wanted her to be younger than Elizabeth so they can have that sister bond) the group raided a super weird facility and found her just kinda chillin' with all her science shit. Everyone was suspicious of her at first but she's to helpful not to take with. Tries to make a cure or atleast a medicin against the zombies but it's really a cover to just dissect the zombies. Meliodas found her with a bunch of severed zombie limbs one time and now she's banned from experiments (won't stop her though)

Escanor: Was the last one to join. He's a 22 year old poet. Fell for Merlin as soon as he saw her. He's horrible at fighting. But he does help King with his crops, king says eacanor is the only one who can touch them. Likes to bake and when they find sugar he will make the best desserts. Will give his share to Merlin because he knows she loves sweets.

Hi dee! i know you said you hate talking about your major, but im going to college this year and I'm scared to go to architecture school 🥲 I want it really bad, but the way people talk about it makes it very unappealing 🥲

hi anon!!!!!!!!! ok ok so this probs going to be a long post, and I advise u to read every single sentencejzhsksb (under the cut)

ok so first of all, where i live, architecture school is 5 years + 2 years of internship = min of 7 years, then licensure exam. that is a VERY, VERY and i repeat VERY long time. and thats only undergrad.

architecture is a creative program, meaning u dont necessarily "study" to get by. there are a lot of theoretical courses ofc, and technically, u still need to study (and read a TON of books to know about design principles and standards and laws) but application takes up 90% of it. in archi school, u need not only to be creative, but u have to be strategic, technical, and be purposeful in everything u do bcs its a fusion of science+arts after all (im not kidding. instructors would cook u to hell when ur design is "perfectly technical" but NOT creative, but they will also stone you if it's "too pretty" but u cant provide a clear cut answer to a certain something's mechanism).

now heres the biggest con to me: in order to survive it you will genuinely have to give up a lot of time. deadlines are given to u upon deadlines. ur only lucky enough if ur prof is one of those angels from heavens above whos considerate enough, but theyre very rare (per my experience). drawing = solving problems, and in this program you NEVER stop solving problems. its very draining tbh, bcs every week is a 7-day stay in the deepest pits of hell of ✨conceptualization✨ . i know no one, and i mean no one in my program who has a regular sleeping schedule, and even the most excellent time manager will sacrifice sleep in deadline week (which is every week 🤩) you will get to miss out on hangs with friends, family vacays and the likes bcs submissions just wouldnt stop. also, college is the reason why i started drinking coffee and energy drink. its unhealthy asf but i gen cant function without it now when i have my exams season. i also discovered i can go on full 48 hrs without a wink of sleep which is. AGAIN. unhealthy as fawk. , you will really have to toughen up your heart bcs the profs will always be honest and wouldnt hesitate to tell u to revise your work, no matter how much u think it's ok enough. they will keep telling u to revise until theyre satisfied lol.

another con is that its expensive as HELL. im very lucky im getting by on scholarships and i get allowances from them BUT i literally cannot imagine spending my familys money on all the things ive lent to this program 😭 when ur in first year u will still have to go manual so if u do not have the art supplies necessary, you'll have to buy them and again. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AS HELL. and it doesnt end there bcs scale modeling goes on forever and its no joke. the materials are hard to fine (at least here) and their prices are ridiculous. then during higher years, you'll have to invest in a high-spec laptop (like gaming laptops) that will not give up on u under heavy use nvs ull be using a lot of software (that ur prods dont even teach you to work with 🤩 theyll jsut drop an instruction saying do this project in archicad and boom ur deep on 456 youtube tutorials which makes u question their existence in the first place but ANYWAY.

on the brightside tho.... its very very fulfilling, this major. architecture plays such an important role in our daily lives and it would feel really rad if we can be a part of that #beautiful thing. seeing the end of every project also pays back by teaching u handful of things. i also enjoy it when we get the chance to explore different building types like for instance my fave project i ever did was when we designed a physical rehabilitation center. ive never been in one before that but we got to explore it thanks to the project. also, you get to know people bcs u have and u WILL want to cater to their needs and wants – and as a girlie who wished she majored in psych thats the thing i love the most about architecture!!! it all boils down to people, how they move within and around space, and how u can help shape a beautiful & nice experience for them. its just a very very very interesting field

thing is, u need to be really dedicated if u want to go to archi school and survive. u have to be passionate abt it to push thru. if ur not really that sure abt it, i advice going against it lol. its just not worth it if its not smth u actually and really want (take that from me plsssjbsjxhsjwh). but if u really want to, then go! but just be really careful with that decision anon :')

So ofc he's doing his best to listen to Zoro no matter how much it hurts, and it must've affirmed his fears/insecurities of getting in Zoro's way. Zoro watching Luffy drift away but he doesnt know what happened or what to do 😭. Maybe Luffy starts doing other things like apologizing when zoro saves him and stops knocking into him. Also jealous zoro in this scenario??? Anyways thanks for reading my ramblings we need more luffy angst!!

I want to resume it too! Sadly, I cannot formulate any other scenarios properly that would not make the story cringe. All I have in my mind that is set and fixed for the plot/idea is that Luffy experiences romantic heart break for the first time, that it ruins him bit by bit. Yknow how those science thingies say heartbreak can cause death? Basically Luffy experiences that ( of course it doesnt kill him, just, ruins him so terribly ) He tries to go to other crew mates for the usual hugs but it was not the same like it was with Zoro. Even their fighting gets affected and Luffy becomes more and more reckless, and he's not even aware. Zoro also is just in denial of liking his captain, more like he is UNAWARE that he LOVES Luffy romantically, but seeing Luffy spiral down, he starts to realize. So that's the basic parts of idea I have, I just want really delicious heart wrenching angst. Am I odd for loving angst?
