Prompt AU #2

Danny meets the Bats because the Fenton's are visiting Gotham and decided it was safer to bring the ghost hot dogs then leave them at home after "The fridge" debacle. (Up to your imagination on what this is.) While in Gotham, someone tries to steal the GAV only to open the strange moving ice box. The hotdogs attack the thief and escape into Gotham city to plan a takeover. Danny while looking for the hotdogs comes across the Bats and when they ask him why he is in the city. He answers honestly knowing they won't believe him.

Bats: What are you doing in Gotham?

Danny: Looking for sentient ghost hotdogs

Bats:

Danny:

Danny: I'm just gonna go. (Disappears from site)

Bats: What the actual hell.

CAT Ghost INSTINCTS

Damian comes back to the manor one day with... a new school acquaintance (coughfriendcough) due to the fact they need to work on a school project together and Danny Fenton was the only one in that class that Damian would tolerate to have as a partner.

Everything about the kid seemed normal, heck very normal if a bit shy... or at least that was until the kid suddenly zero focused on a corner of the room and stared at it non blinking. Then after what felt like hours blinked once and returned to normal, chatting away like nothing happened.

....It also doesn't help that Alfred the cat... did the same thing.. at the same time as Danny.

Yeah something is... off about Damian's new friend.

So Danny is going to blame this on Vlad. Everything was going great, his parents had accepted him, Ellie is home for a while as was Jazz, Vlad was going to ghost-therapy along with Jordan to both get over apparently very bad obsession-sickness, and it was finally summer break! Which meant camping, and no ghost stuff for the first time in forever. 

He should have known everything was going too well, because that’s just the Fenton luck isn’t it? So he was going to blame this entire thing on Vlad, even if it might maybe be his own fault just a little bit. But how was he supposed to know the glowing rock formation that looked sort of like a portal was actually going to do something?! 

Urgh, he’s not going to deal with dimension travel, he already has to deal with time bullshit thanks to his peepaw! At least they’re all in this together and haven’t gotten separated? Ugh. This is going to be annoying.

Danny starts a prank war with young justice.

They’re fast friends, and this normally wouldn’t be a problem for any of the younger heroes to mess with each other, but Phantom is… a bit extreme with the pranks.

It started simple, like moving furniture two inches to the left, even phasing it partially into the wall.

Now there’s a dozen rabid reanimated hotdogs running loose, robin’s cape is possessed, and miss martian can only speak the espiranto version of pig latin… nobody is sure how it got to this point.

I genuinely cannot wait for Watchers Mystery files to come out in May , if I'm being honest I was always much more interested in buzzfeed unsolved true crime than supernatural so I'm glad we've gotten both back in some way :D

I couldnt wait till the show came out to make some art for mystery files so here's it is with all the small references listed below

I can see mountain telling the other ghouls to not give Hilly sugar or anything to get him hyper because he'd go on a stealing spree

Hilly eats exactly half of one bite sized mini Snickers candy, tries to race Uncle Dew (it's not much of a race, because Hilly starts crying as soon as he runs five feet away and notices Dew not immediately behind him), wants Aether to pick him up, but also DOES NOT want to be held, headbutts Rain in the knee once, and then immediately crashes.

He foils his own plans at theft purely by not being able to handle the sugar rush to his brain.

But the other ghouls absolutely avoid giving him a lot of sugary things now.

He is allowed to have a juice box with lunch though.

So Nihil obviously wasn’t born with his white eye, we see this in the Dance Macabre music video. Imperator straight up punches him in the face and that’s when he gets it, so I think it’s meant to be stylized anisocoria. Eye condition that causes different sized pupils, usually a sign of head trauma but can be benign. Obviously he gets cataracts later since he’s old as dirt, and as a ghost, he is not bound by physical injuries, so the messed up eye goes away.

While I personally like to think of it as heterochromia and strong genes to pass it down to all of your sons, it’s a little funny to think of it as them passing down their papal rights by punching each other in the face. Nihil to Primo, Primo to Secondo, Secondo to Terzo. “No bud, you’re gonna look so sick, think of the branding. Okay hold still-“ A different, more private ceremony with plenty of paperwork, unlike the passing downs we’ve seen on stage.

Idk how it’d work for Copia. Maybe when he’s younger, Sister goes “no, you ARE going to be Papa, might as well get the head trauma out of the way!” Since we see him with his white eye as Cardinal.

This is why I hc it as strong heterochromia because I don’t like to think of the couple of them just punching their kids 😭😭

I was nearly late to class today because me and my friends could NOT stop talking about our pets. My buddy has 3 tattoos of his cats and one of them is named Hotdog it was truly incredible.

Phantom home alone

A/N: I blame having read a couple of post of the batkids doing that. And my brain went, let's have Danny do that too! I am sure someone might have thought of that already tho...

Danny clutched the screw driver in his head and looked proudly at what he had build on a short noticed. Sure Tucker had notified him that someone was looking into his person, but he had not thought that whoever that was would come snooping around his home this soon. Espacially when he was supposed to be on a home visit to his parents that he had to cancel last minute for a collage project.

Well, it's too bad for those who are trying to sneak into his home. Danny was the son of a pair of the most inventive and creative inventors of Amity that made laser blasters out of toasters. Additionally he was a half ghost with a large variety of powers as well as someone who had the definition of mischief as daughter/sister.

Besides, he always wanted to get his own chance on doing his own version of home alone. His parents security system just never let him do that. That reminded him, should he see if he can bring to live and convince the hotdogs in his fridge to fight with him?

The Bats and Birds just wanted to make sure that this new kid in Tim's college classes was not as suspicious as he appeared to be. Really, if that kid hadn't off handedly commented about the basic components of fear gas while in Tim's presence he might never have gotten onto their radar.

Of course, as paranoid as they were, they had to scoop out the teens' place when they knew he wasn't around. They did not expect the apartment to fight back. And are those hotdogs wielding forks and knives as weapons?!
