Practically dramatized the hero's sidekick rushed to close the heavy door before slowly sinking to the floor.

"What was it like out there kid, how was your first taste of the real world?" The villain had asked with a tilt of their head.

The sidekick jumped in suprizies at villains villains voice.

 " Was it everything you thought it would be?" The villain had asked once more with a knowing gleam in their eyes.

Shaking the sidekick shook their head in dismay. " n-no, it was horrible, it wasn't like anything the hero said it would be."  The sidekick had said with a miserable stutter.

The Villain scoffed at that, the sound was chilling to the ears as it held no emotion.

The sidekick shivers even more when the villain continues the patronizing onslaught.

" I suppose I would be shocked too if I grew up only ever knowing about the happy side of things. But then again,Did you really think a shit ton of glitter and rainbows could fix a place like this?" The villain said once more with hollow eyes.

I have good news and had news. I'll start with the bad news first as it leads to the good news. The app I used to store all the drawings and information of my OCS finally decided to close down, but I didn't know that until it was too late. So to put it simply, all of my OCS are gone. Now onto the good news... I was needing to remake and draw news images for them anyways. So I can start by going through the OC list I have pinned and one by one start to redraw them and show them on here. I only have enough time to draw some sketches and perhaps every so often draw better versions of them. Later when I'm less busy I will start rewriting and posting their stories and other personal information like that. I can still answer questions you have about any of them, but until then I hope you enjoy the drawings.

Headcanon that the Bats must be the most infuriating members of the justice league. And it's got nothing to do with what they do or don't know or even their general skills and egos. Everyone is very used to Batman and the expectation that him and any of his spawn are somehow going to be three steps ahead of any issue they bring to the table ever.

No no, the infuriating bit? The stalking.

Listen, this is a family of freaks and weirdos. They work so well together because none of them were normal to start with and then they ended up traumatized. It's practically common practice in that family to accept that nothing is what it seems at face value and that all of your siblings are attempting to pry into your private life and cases at any given moment. I think for them it's honestly weirder if you take what they say at face value. They speak a language holy separate from any normally socialized person and it is a language of lies and half-truths that relies on the assumption that all parties are aware of that.

They're the most infuriating bitches around.

They'll tell someone something and appear to do the opposite and when confronted will have the most convoluted but sound reasoning of why they actually did exactly as they promised too.

They regularly pick people's pockets and hack into personal information because for them? That's practically a love language. They're obnoxious and they aren't even aware of it. Someone asks them to just tell the truth and they react like they've been shot. They're probably offended when they realize that someone hasn't been at least attempting to dig into them back, like come on man. I thought we were friends but you didn't even Google how long Nightwings been around? We've already put the bar on the floor for you guys? My siblings already have a full dossier ready on you because they caught us on camera in your home city during that 2 minute conversation we had 3 months ago. They sent it to me a few hours later. I think they got Oracle to help cause usually it takes them at least 12 hours.

You think they're being nice and friendly and then you realize that they have a nice little file compiled of everything you've done in the last five years, where you went to school and every note your teachers ever made about your behavior a decade ago when you were still a high schooler and fairly normal. If asked they'd probably be willing to bring out the family tree they built for you. They know what you did last summer better than you know what you did last summer. They have pictures, pictures that should be impossible because there's no way they were stalking you then and those sure don't look like security camera footage.

In reality Bats and Superman get along so well because that man is an investigative journalist and when they first met he could not leave it alone. Bruce was charmed the first time Clark Kent started doggedly attempting to ask him if he knew anything about Gothams new cryptid. It was cute how off base he was. But he was trying!!!! Bruce was sold for life! He dropped an dossier on lexcorp off in Clarks apartment a few days later. As a gift.

"Do you see the way she's holding the hostages?" Searing Lance uttered, handing the binoculars over to the young hero-in-training. Black Ice took them and held them up, looking into the fancy bank's windows far below. Ichor had vine-like tendrils wrapped around every hostage's neck, all in a continuous string.

"Yeah," Black Ice replied, handing back the binoculars. Searing Lance shook his head slightly, his wild, strawberry blond hair shivering.

"She can kill them all at once, but it isn't a deadman's hold." Black Ice nodded, lowering the binoculars in his hand. He glanced over to The Hawk, who stood with arms crossed, staring down into the windows.

"What's a deadman's hold?" Black Ice asked, looking down into the bank again. Searing Lance sighed.

"They don't teach you anything useful, do they?" he uttered. He stood at his full height then as Black Ice blushed, ashamed. "A deadman's hold is something that activates when pressure is released, not when it's applied. So when I kill Ichor," he gestured, "the hostages will be safe."

Black Ice glared at the thing in his hands as if it had personally offended him.

"You're going to kill her?" he uttered. "Not secure her?" He didn't look up, but he felt Searing Lance's gaze on him.

"Evil must be purged from the world, son." Searing Lance looked down, the air around him heating up rapidly. Black Ice stumbled away, shielding his face with a hiss. "We can't afford to feed it in any of its forms."

The Hawk climbed onto the edge of the building they were all perched on, and Searing Lance rose into the air. Black Ice watched as The Hawk kicked off of the building and swooped down, glimmering brown wings carrying him down to the bank doors as Searing Lance flew to the side of the building in a blur, the air sizzling behind him. Black Ice hesitated, binoculars in-hand, before lifting them again to look into the building.

The Hawk stood at the door, folding his wings and holding up his clawed hands. The hostages all flinched, the tendrils around their necks tightening, Ichor's feet changing to a braced stance instead of the pacing she'd been doing. The police in the street shifted nervously, and The Hawk seemed to start talking. The hostages watched him closely, then looked to Ichor. Everyone was still for a moment. Then they looked back to The Hawk.

Ichor was suddenly yanked off of her feet, and the hostages all flinched, their screams reaching Black Ice's ears as Ichor hit the ground again. She was ruined, part of her was smoking, and though he couldn't be sure, it looked as if her chest had been torn apart. Searing Lance stood, the carpet burning under his feet, and The Hawk was already running in to help hostages stand, their clothes drenched in the sticky substance that had, an instant ago, been Ichor's tendrils. A moment later, everyone was walking out of the bank and being guided towards a waiting semi-circle of EMTs.

Searing Lance bolted again through the air, then settled down on the rooftop. The very atmosphere was baking around him, and he smelled like burning flesh. Black Ice was too concerned with being polite to cover his nose. Searing Lance's arm was crusted with black, smoking goo, and the hero finally seemed to cool down once his feet were solidly planted. Black Ice looked at the binoculars again.

"Aren't…" he started, scowling. "Aren't we supposed to catch villains?" He looked up, clutching his burden in both hands. Searing Lance just kept looking down at the building.

"So they can be imprisoned?" Searing Lance said. Black Ice nodded. "So they can be contained?" Black Ice hesitated. "So a prison owner somewhere can get more money from their government? So the villain can be dissected and biopsied? Sampled? Cataloged? Cloned? So the poor wretch can get out again? So I can be sent after them again? On TV again? Moving more of my merchandise? So more people can suffer and get fat on suffering?"

Black Ice was looking down at his hands, his face red with shame.

"Evil must be purged from the world, son. We can't afford to feed it in any of its forms." Black Ice watched below as several people entered the bank, one of them carrying a body bag.

Ichor's demands had been fifty thousand dollars cash and a helicopter with a parachute and a pilot. She hadn't so much as bruised a single hostage while they all waited. And now she was being scraped off of the floor and into a body bag, and baked into Searing Lance's sleeve.

Black Ice quietly put his hand over his nose and closed his eyes before taking deep breaths.
